| The trek to the borders was uneventful, to say the least. They had appeared at the eastern borders, making their rounds to see if any rogues were not on the western border like most of the howls signaled that they would be. Luke was accompanied by Ladislava, Ozmond and Aili. Ladislava was chatting about something to Ozmond, but Luke’s attention was taken back to the borders. There was something odd, something on the wind that he could not quite catch. He had smelled it before, a faint scent that lingered, but now it was much stronger. He realized all too late what it was. A bear. The same bear that Ozmond had warned them of during the winter. The juvenile had grown quite a bit, and was quite angry, coming out of hibernation, it was looking for food. And it so happened that they had advanced on him a bit too much.
The roar that came from the black bear was the only signal his wolves had to ready themselves before it came barreling forth. “Scatter!” Luke yelled, trying to move out of the way. But they were simply too close, and he braced himself for the impact. However, one did not come as Ozmond and Ladislava both took to his side, both putting themselves in front of him and taking the full brunt of the attack. Luke watched as Ozmonds leg was ripped into by the bear, a howl of pain coming from the male. Ladislava was quick as well, biting into the bears neck, tearing a good chunk as she was flung away against a tree. Aili soon joined in, biting away at the bear. Luke watched as if he couldn’t move, but then as he watched Ladislava shakily get up, he knew he needed to do something. He lifted his head and let out a howl.
The howl would signal to any of his wolves to come running, and with the urgency, they would. He then leapt forward, ripping into the bear, as Ladislava came to help as well. They were making a good dent on this bear’s patience, as well as the skin around his neck. But four wolves would never be enough.

Mayerthu watched her friends communicating with the new wolves silently her mind drifting into a past memory... A wolf with a grey coat approaches from the north smelling of blood and fear. "W-Who are you?" Mayerthu asks nervously her ears lowering and she chokes on the smell that seems to be pouring off of the other wolf. "Does it really matter who I am?" The wolf asks, his red eyes boring into her heart. He lifts his muzzle in contempt at her fear. "If you do not grow smarter pup you will die here" then he lunged forward and tore into her side drawing a yelp of pain from the young she-wolf. "Stop! I havent done anything wrong!" Mayerthu whimpered weakly not having enough strength to fight back. The grey wolf glared at her in mock sympathy. "You are mine girl. Come with me." Mayerthu shook herself out of her thoughts wearily. She straightened up trying to listen to what was going on and failed miserably. Watching the surroundings silently was the bitch's only good option at the current moment. Sage Spirit @aztec Lake

"We were also about to play a game of tug of war, do you want to join?" Lake's invitation had Spirit up and ready, her ears pricking up at the mention of the game. It was strange to hear the word "tag" after her pup hood had long became history. She could still vaguely remember rolling down a snowy slope like a snowball of fur, chuckling as she slipped off her brother's grasp. Time had made it all seem to be a distant dream. And as she looked about at the new friends she had made, the painful memories she held didn't rush back all at once. They were suppressed by the joyful, light-hearted mood among them, much to Spirit's relief. I've came quite a long way. A soft, playful smile found its way to the alabaster female's snout. Excitedly, Spirit pushed her paws back slightly on the mossy ground, preparing to take off as soon as the chaser was decided. She turned to gain a full view of her companions, her tail spinning like a helicopter. Bring it on. Before the game begun, a deep, hollow and desperate howl reverberated in the distance. The cheeky expression on her face fell, and the buoyant energy of a pup dissipated all at once. Spirit straightened her ears and pushed herself up, eyeing warily into the distance. She watched the others' expressions, before finally saying softly but firmly: "Something bad has happened... I guess we should go and see if we would be of any help?Remembering the Somnus Alpha's admonishments, Spirit willed herself to not panic, even though alarm bells were ringing in her head. That howl... Something really bad has happened. She raced towards wherever the urgent call for help came from, heart pounding in her chest. As she neared the scene, a terrifying roar erupted from somewhere silver-glazed eyes widened at the sight of the towering ebony beast. A black bear. Struck with horror, Spirit observed as four wolves snapped their jaws back in defence at the monster. While the scent of blood hung in the air, the prominent scents of the four wolves screamed that they were pack wolves. As one of the pack wolves came crashing into the tree with a sickening crunch, Spirit flinched and swallowed. The scene before them was unbearable to watch. And while Spirit was utterly horrified and anxious, she knew two things: "They had to help these pack wolves." and "Here's their chance to prove themselves." She swivelled her head to look at the others, mouthing: "We have to help them." Prancing out from behind a thicket, Spirit darted towards the bear, preparing to sink her teeth in its legs, but missed. Instead, she was flung aside easily as if she was nothing. Spirit felt herself thrown to the ground, and she winced as pain struck her. Pushing herself up, she charged towards the bear again once more, hoping to land a bite this time. Lake's fur rose at the howl, he looked to see Spirit go into a full panic, wanting to help. "Something bad has happened... I guess we should go and see if we would be of any help?" It was a good idea, Lake agreed, he should do this, even though he was afraid. Lake moved through the under ground with some difficulty. He was not used to the undergrowth, up in the mountains there had been plenty of space. Spirit was ahead of him and then she was gone, Lake turned to see her lying on the ground. Lake froze at what he saw, a massive bear standing ahead of him. Another wolf was facing the bear, and several others were near, but hurt. Lake shook himself, he had to act. Lake growled and moved to stand in between Spirit and the bear. The bear was huge, and Lake was afraid. But no way would he show it, he looked to the other wolf for guidance, what should he do. Lake galloped, staying low and grabbed onto one of it's hind legs. The only bad thing was that Lake was built bigger, he was strong, but he wasn't as agile. The bear hit him and Lake dug in deeper, determined to stay attached to the bear. Pain spread on his side, he hopped his attempts wouldn't be for nothing. Spirit Mayerthu Sage Alpha Luke @aztec

Mayerthu jerked to attention as Spirit said "Something bad has happened..." and Mayerthu tuned her out and started towards the ruckus behind her light furred companion and the wolf called Lake. She arrived in time to see Spirit throw herself at the bear and Lake latch onto its leg. Any other time Mayerthu would have found the scene humorous except these wolves mattered to her and she would give her life for them. Quickly assessing the surroundings she charged the bear as it was busying itself with Lake and instead of biting it she threw her bulk against its other hind leg to throw it off balance recieving an unbalanced blow to her back. Taking the opportunity provided she backed away looking for an opening and spotted a wound on the bear's neck. "It's already losing blood from its neck, lets make sure it loses more, then it will tire much faster and the kill will be easier, assuming that the kill is our goal." She glanced to the other wolves that were there in acknowledgement so they would know she wanted to help. Mayerthu dove forward and began nipping and darting away from the bear's forleg to draw its attention away from the other wolves. "Bring it on fluffy" she growled knowing she could only take about three direct hits from it's powerful paws. And her body flooded with the thrill of the fight. Spirit Lake Sage @aztec Alpha Luke

She was a wanderer risk, minus being senile and wrinkly. A single curious eye destructively examined her surroundings as she moved forward, slowly. By the third time tripping over roots and rubble, the lupine had learned to tread carefully in this dense terrain, taking a few steps forward before pausing and observing the next length of ground she would need to cross. The overcast from the tree's left the forest in shrouded in dimly lit sunlight, warmth of the sun only peeking blindly in sporadic areas. Her last meal was approximately 4 and a half days ago, having been some sad excuse of a maggot-invaded rabbit. Edible, but far from tasteful. Her brief mentor had taught her once about the different scents in their world, and what they meant, but during the time he described pack wolves, the yearling was far too busy playing in the snow. She would come to regret her distractions momentarily, as she had wandered directly into the territory of Noctis without a second thought. Compared to the designated rogue lands, the grass here was fluffy and moist, and the forest felt comfortable and inviting. Naturally, Haku felt welcomed here, as if she were stepping into heaven itself. The pup wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, obviously, but she certainly distinguished the scent of a bear far before she had stepped over its path. With this mingled the various scents of different wolves, all coming from her left side - her blind side. So, the yearling remained unfazed and veered strongly to her right, away from harms way. One firmly placed paw in front of the other, Haku made her way about 3 yards before coming to a startled pause, a curt shriek catching in her sensitive ears. Auds narrowed in alarm, her pumpkin orbs traveling to the source, tail tucking in fear. W-was that... a wolf or... a-a tiny fox? A deathly silence hung heavily in the air, her heart pounding as she thought about the bear. Someone was getting beaten, and badly. Her brain told her to flee quickly and hide, a natural instinct Haku possessed. On the contrary, her dirty paws remained stubbornly glued to the ground as her heart willed her towards the trouble. She knew she was awful at fighting, but maybe a tiny little distraction could buy some wolf some time to recover? No.A single right eye darted back to the dark path ahead of her, and then back to the distressed call. Without another thought, mahogany paws scrambled awkwardly toward the bear, tripping countless times. Blood pulsed violently in her ears, her heart roaring louder than anything she had ever heard. Her mind begged her to turn back, but she shook her head as she came in sight of a wolf looking at its target, the bear. Another missed step sent the yearling sprawling into the dirt before her, showering her face in the remnants of the grass that once rooted there. Like an idiot, she lay there momentarily before slowly looking up with her one good eye, finding the animals figure battling furiously with 7 other wolves. Well, they have things handled I could just go... Haku stopped herself, shaking the dirt from her pelt as she stood confidently, fueled by these brave wolves that ran to battle thoughtlessly. Yea, she could definitely spar with a bear! A blind eye was nothing compared to her bite! Unleashing an out-of-character snarl, the innocent she-wolf charged straight towards the big teddy, itty bitty teeth finding their way to clamp directly on the bears tail. Distraction! The beast flinched in alarm, but she didn't even break the skin. Her moment of glory was so short lived, the surrounding wolves could have blinked and never knew she was there. Long claws came slamming into her ear, and as soon as she released the tail she got stepped on by the bears hefty hind legs. How she didn't break a bone was beyond what anyone could believe, however she was bleeding profusely from her ear. The yearling laid in her spot like a road kill, a mixture of shock and agony frozen in her face. Meanwhile, the bear charged towards another wolf and left her body long enough for her to drag herself away dejectedly. Her chest heaved, and though she fought not to cry like a wimp, tears already blurred her vision and stained her blood-soaked cheeks. Her single functioning eye found her a safe (enough) spot behind a nearby tree where she would fall to the ground and occasionally watch the fight from afar. While her body remained bruised and beaten, Haku felt she would only flee a few meters before collapsing. Nonetheless, she was desperately uncomfortable being around these unknown wolves, injured, and far too close to a bear that would kill her if it found her. Haku whimpered as she watched the adults getting hammered just as hard, knowing she had not helped them in any way. A thick, crimson liquid drained from her one ear, weaving it's way through her blood-matted fur until it fell, gently, onto a leaf that lingered below. Haku was an idiot.

| After he had let out his desperate cry for his packmates to come to his aid, he knew that most of them had heard it. They would be there in seconds, but his mind raced to the safety of Wren. She would come too, no doubt. He didn’t want to put his mate in harm's way, especially not with how she was acting this morning. He hoped that she would be careful, and possibly get Ladislava and Ozmond away from the fight so that Hoshi could tend to them. But that was not going to happen, as the bear went straight for Ozmond, clutching his neck in his jaws and the resounding snap only chilled Luke to the bone. He watched as his General fell limp to the ground, and Luke’s blood ran cold. Ozmond had been one of the pack members he’d known the longest. Although the male had sometimes given unwarranted advice that annoyed Luke, he considered him a friend. The body slid from the bears neck, falling to the ground with a sickening thud. Luke was now not in any position to attack, being by himself. That was when something unexpected happened.
A white wolf came bolting towards the bear, the scent and pelt nothing that Luke could recognize. Who was this wolf? He watched as she was thrown away after attempting an attack. She brought herself back up from where she had been thrown, and rushed the bear once more. This was a pack matter, this was not something that a rogue could simply trot into and help. What was this wolf thinking? The bear was just inside the borders, so she had trespassed on his territory already, and now she was aiming to get herself killed by the black bear standing before them. Luke took the initiative to get in her way, hoping to stop her from attacking. If she dodged past him, he would just be less inclined to help her. If she actually stopped, he would give her a stern look before turning back to the bear, readying himself to attack and gain this bear’s attention long enough that the others could get there. But it seemed that foreign wolves had not ended their path into his territory, as yet another came dashing for the bear.
This one was actually able to grab onto the bear, latching onto its leg. A poor move on his part. Going for the limbs was the best way to get yourself killed, especially with something quite larger than a wolf. The black bear struck at the male, trying to get him off of his leg. The male took a couple blows, and Luke growled, rushing forward and pushing his body against the others, trying to get him to let go, and send him tumbling away from the bear. In the process of this, the bears paw swiped down once more, claws raking across Luke’s face. The Alpha growled. These wolves were only making this harder! How was he supposed to distract it if they kept attacking it?! “If you have any sense get the fuck out of here!” He hollered at the both of them.
Another wolf drew herself in and he let out a growl. “Get the fuck out of here!” He commanded. These wolves were not his, and were not listening to him from what he could tell. The roar of the bear was angered once more, and the Alpha was not sure what he should do. Blood was dripping profusely from the wound that had barely missed his eyes. This battle needed to end quickly. Right now was not the best time for all these wolves to be appearing at his borders, nor was it a good time for them to be joining in on fighting a dangerous creature and putting their lives at risk when they didn’t need to. He had called for his wolves, his howl should not have called them with it.
Just when he thought everything was going to shit, the small lithe form of Ater came running in, bolting for underneath the bear’s legs and slamming into it to make the bear stagger. Luke took this as his signal to go for the bear’s side, slamming into it to further knock it over. Since it was up on its hind legs, it fell to the ground, causing a heavy thud. Ater was by far the most experienced hunter in the pack, and with hunting came the ability to read prey and predators. She was analyzing what they should do next, while dancing around the bear, making sure that it could not land a direct hit on her. He watched her, knowing that others would not be too far behind. Or at least, he hoped they would not. He had not seen where Aili had been thrown off to, and Ladislava had yet to get back up from where she had hit the tree before.

Lake was knocked off the bear and he watched the alpha leap into action, he had such poise, such a commanding ability, Lake already looked up to him. The alpha yelled some strong words at Lake and the rest of his friends, and Lake's blood boiled. He managed to calm down and yelled over all the fighting, "Alpha, I am trying to help you. Tell me what I need to do and I will do it. This is a suicide mission if you want us to leave, if you really want us to leave we will, but I believe it's for the best I stay. I don't have much fighting experience, but I believe I should fight for you, so let me help you get this big furry bee-brain out of your territory then I can leave if you wish." Lake ran at the bear that was now on it's side, he jumped up on it and dug his teeth into the neck on the bear, he was filled with such a rage Lake had never experienced before, Lake didn't care about anything else, but getting rid of that bear. "Something bad has happened... I guess we should go and see if we would be of any help?" Was what Sage's attention, a loud howl, desperate for help was coming from the forest. Instantly the wolf friends ran to help whoever was in trouble. As they were running, a strong smell of blood was flowing through the air, someone must be very hurt, Sage thought to herself. As her friends came closer to the source of the sound, they saw a brown male fighting a grizzly bear. As her run slowed down, she saw Spirit fall to the ground, after a few moments, Lake jumped up and sunk his fangs into the bear while he tried to throw him off. Sage, without any hesitation, jumped up and dug her claws into the flesh of the bear. The bear threw her off and she landed on the ground with a thud. She heard a small crack, must be the ribs, she huffed and stood back up, "It's already losing blood from its neck, let's make sure it loses more, then it will tire much faster and the kill will be easier, assuming that the kill is our goal." The loud voice of Mayerthu was heard. She was right, we could finish the bear off soon. Sage took a quick breather and resumed the fighting. Suddenly, a very frustrated voice of the Alpha wolf caught her attention.“If you have any sense get the fuck out of here!” No one seemed to care at what he had to say and continued to fight, until he roared again, “Get the fuck out of here!” He was getting more angrier as if our fighting against the bear was useless, and we were making it harder for him. Out of the corner of her eye, Sage saw Lake get knocked off by the bear. He seemed angry, and called out to the Alpha wolf, "Alpha, I am trying to help you. Tell me what I need to do and I will do it. This is a suicide mission if you want us to leave, if you really want us to leave we will, but I believe it's for the best I stay. I don't have much fighting experience, but I believe I should fight for you, so let me help you get this big furry bee-brain out of your territory then I can leave if you wish." Sage nodded, in agreement with Lake, and growled at the bear, "Come here ya big ball of fur!" As she bit down on his leg. After a few moments, she looked at her friends and the Alpha, "Are you guys ok? Nobody got hurt too seriously I hope?"

This was supposed to be just a routine border check. However everything went sour when a bear came at them from nowhere. Before he had a chance to remark on how odd it was to see a bear here, aggressive, the black beast was already attacking. They didn't have much time to react, but Luke's possession was compromised. In a movement, Oz was there in front of Luke and then he felt the hit.
His back was the next thing and he let out a yelp. His vision quickly blurred and turned dark. He can hear the fighting in the distance but the sounds were so distant. Oz tried to see what was going but nothing was working. He was struggling but the fuzziness, the way his mind began to drift felt nice. He finally took his last breath and died.

Comments: I hope this is ok that Haku is doing this. Plz let me know if not <3
A bone-chilling crack sounded from the battle at one point, dragging her vision to the dead body of a wolf. Well, the lupine was a little to innocent to realize he was dead. Never had she witnessed the death of her fellow species, and so as she turned to peer at the lame brute, Haku assumed he was merely injured, most likely in a worse state than herself. So injured perhaps that the brute decided it would be healthier to simply lie in the midst of the battle ground. The yearling found the strength to get to her paws. If she could be of any service, perhaps she could help this wolf to safety. However, as her eye level met that of his misshapen neck, her stomach dropped to her paws. His eyelids fell lazily as he exhaled one last time, signalling that we was no longer with them. Was this real? Haku felt unsteady, a shocked stare darting around wildly as time began to move slowly. She could feel her heartbeat pounding in her ears, the blood slowing is fall slightly. Were all these wolves going to die? Was she going to die as well? Swallowing nervously, she took a step forward, mouth open as if she had something to say. She wanted these wolves to flee as she felt the need to do, but they turned and fought so effortlessly. They were protecting each other, and this confused the yearling. Should she feel the need to protect these strangers as well? Did they even know one another? Haku took another step forward."Get the fuck out of here!" the snarl of one of the larger males stung in her damaged ear, though she knew not what his profanity meant. From what she could piece together, he was furious and obviously did not want someone around. But who? Haku still had no idea there was a difference here between rogues and pack wolves, though the thought crossed her mind momentarily. Haku took a step back, hesitant that maybe she was the problem. It would make sense, she didn't even put a dent in the bear. She looked back towards the lifeless wolf, brows scrunched in thought. These wolves obviously cared about each other in some sense, as well as this wolf before he passed. If she could do anything, it would be to preserve his body from the rampaging bear. Haku scrambled in a loop around the fight, her good eye monitoring carefully that the bear did not notice her, and that she did not get in the way of the others. Eventually the she-wolf stalked towards the dead warrior, trying to ignore the guilty pit that formed in her throat. Blood pooled furiously at his open wounds, leaking onto the foliage his carcass laid upon. As her maw reached for his bloody scruff, Haku realized that she may look awful dragging away this body. If these wolves cared about him, they would feel threatened and think she was planning to do something dreadful to his body. The lupine stopped herself, and instead positioned herself to crouch over his much larger figure. If the bear were to near his body, she would snarl in the meanest tone she could imagine. She hoped that this would deter the bear enough, and if not, at least it would grab for her live body first rather than stepping on his still-warm carcass.

WORK CAN BE FUN IF YOU LAUGH A LITTLE
The call of her mate was something that Wren dreaded hearing. Especially at the borders after multiple rogue calls had sounded over the territory. It could be an ambush, a predator, but definitely a threat to Noctis. As the Alphess arrived, chaos was what she met. Ozmond’s body was flung to the side, and multiple unfamiliar rogues were attacking a bear alongside her fuming mate who had just very clearly told all of them to bugger right off. That didn’t stop any of them from attacking the already downed animal. With the bear nearly incapacitated and laying on its side thanks to Ater’s quick work, Wren tried to assist her mate in taking hold of the situation.
One of the rogues, an absolutely tiny female, crouched over Ozmond’s body. In an instant, Wren’s body galloped towards her. The blanketed she-wolf was fully willing to trample the rogue if she didn’t move from the General’s corpse. She had no right to be in Noctis territory, let alone lay claim to a body. Standing protectively over Ozmond’s body, whether or not she hit the other female, Wren knew that this situation was far too chaotic. Ozmond, and, with a sickening crack, Ladislava’s death would be mourned properly in the common grounds when the ordeal was over.
The threat of the bear seemed to have been dealt with thanks to the quick work of her wolves and her amazingly brave mate. With that off her plate to worry about, Wren narrowed her amber eyes and assumed the dominant position that had become familiar to her over the past months. Stepping forwards towards her mate, she took note of the blood streaming down his face. Hoshi would need to treat the slashes, but st least it seemed that he was okay. Shooting her mate a reassuring look, Wren drew herself up higher, making it clear to everyone around that she was not about to mess around.
“Whatever help you think you just gave us, I assure you it will not help you. First you trespass onto our territory, then you join a fight specifically after my mate told you not to. You could have gotten yourselves killed, or one of our wolves. Rest assured you would not have been forgiven had you caused the deaths of my packmates instead of the vicious actions of the bear. I can already guess why you all are here. You have my limited patience to try and explain your actions and tell us why we should even consider letting you become a member of our pack,” the Alphess was unusually angry. Her tone was hard and stern, something rarely used by the typically fun-loving she-wolf. The tragedies of the multiple deaths at the borders was already emotionally unbalancing. So many rogues suddenly appearing and only making matters more difficult was yet another weight on her shoulders. There were already three in the commons, could Noctis take any more?
“There were three wolves, a mother and two children, in Feyre’s Meadow. They were confused, almost incoherent, but I let them seek temporary refuge in the commons for now. I’d like to talk to you about them once we sort this all out,” she murmured so only her mate could here. The Alpha pair had enough stress as is. These rogues better have the best explanations in the damn world. word count: 597

Sage stood aside from the battle, the bear was now on its side, getting bitten and clawed. She tried not to move too much, as she probably cracked a few ribs during the fight.. She noticed that little brown wolf from earlier hovering over a body, it was that wolf who helped the alpha during the fight, he must have died. Sage looked at him with some sympathy before turning around to hear a booming voice from her side. A relatively tall, grey female wolf was standing not too far away from Sage and her group of friends. “Whatever help you think you just gave us, I assure you it will not help you. First, you trespass onto our territory, then you join a fight specifically after my mate told you not to. You could have gotten yourselves killed, or one of our wolves. Rest assured you would not have been forgiven had you caused the deaths of my packmates instead of the vicious actions of the bear. I can already guess why you all are here. You have my limited patience to try and explain your actions and tell us why we should even consider letting you become a member of our pack,” Instantly the young she-wolf knew that this was the Alphess, the mate of the wolf who let out that howl. She froze, she never properly met any Alpha, and this sure was giving off the worst first impression. She dipped her head low to the ground, not looking in her eyes. "We..I..I apologize for such inconvenience, b..but I assure you, trespassing into your territory was merely an accident. I didn't know what was g..going on." Sage mentally slapped her-self after that, not only was she talking to the Alphess, but she managed to stutter as well. Well done Sage, well done. "My friends and I were about to play a game when we heard a call for help, the least we could do was help someone who needed it. None of us knew that we would be trespassing, we ran without looking ..you could say." Sage started at the leaves next to her paws, "I'm sorry for your loss--" Sage looked over to the dead wolf, before looking at the ground once again."-- I would've helped if I was there.. I did only come, when the fight was nearly over." She looked down, she was so nervous, her eyes were looking everywhere but the two Alpha wolves. She once again dipped her head and looked at her friends. Sage heard the Alphess say something to her mate, though she couldn't hear what they were talking about, the she-wolf was sure she was telling him we shouldn't be accepted into the pack.

Rest assured you would not have been forgiven had you caused the deaths of my packmates instead of the vicious actions of the bear. I can already guess why you all are here. You have my limited patience to try and explain your actions and tell us why we should even consider letting you become a member of our pack,” the female snapped. She seemed to be the alphess. "I...I'm sorry. I know sorry can't repair any of this, but I was trying to help. I never wanted to trespass, and the call for help was definitely not intended for us, but I wanted to help anyway. I realize what I did was unacceptable, and I'll do anything to try to make it up to you. And after I'm done, I'll hightail if out of here. I'm also sorry for your loss, I know that the pain in unbearable," Lake's words trailed off at the last sentence. His family had died, but he had never been very close to them, except for his mom, but this pack was obviously more close, and he felt sorry for them. Lake was determined to make it up to them, and realized he probably just blew his chance at this pack, but he'd help anyway. And this time help in a way that was beneficial to the pack. Comments: I do want Haku to try to join Noctis, but IC this wasn't her plan.
It seemed the yearling was in for a load of trouble as a pretty she-wolf trampled through the forest. The bear was now downed, no longer a threat. Haku innocently looked down to the lifeless body before sympathetically smiling at the alphess, a tail wagging slowly before she realized she was marching right for her, and her expression was dirty. Haku swallowed and stumbled aside as she took her place over the body, finding herself falling as she tripped over her paws. Her heart beat rapidly as a wide eye searched the female, questioning what she did wrong. Was she going to hurt Haku? The lupine drew herself so that she stood dominantly above the crowd, the only wolf mimicking her stance being the angry male, and suddenly everything clicked. Somehow, someway, Haku had wandered dangerously into pack territory, and she was now faced before two upset alpha's. Heavy guilt caused her to avert her gaze to the ground, now understanding why they didn't want her around. She also presumed that many of the other wolves that jumped in to help were also rogues. Though, it was more likely that they knew they had crossed into pack lands. The alphess went on a rant to conclude their actions and why she was so upset. She mentioned her dead pack mates, and Haku wondered why she didn't show more outward emotions toward their death. Perhaps it was because she was surrounded by strangers, but as a yearling she would be a mess trying to keep composure. Good thing she didn't know these wolves. It came to her surprise that the she-wolf opened the conversation to explanations. While upset, she awaited responses as to why these rogues should be apart of the pack, leaving Haku completely dumbfounded. What in the world was happening here? Fury died to an invitation, which made absolutely no sense to the yearling, whom had only wandered here by mistake. She hadn't really come here to make a statement, however Haku felt the need to apologize at most for her actions. After two others had spoken, Haku couldn't bring herself to look at the alpha pair directly. Partly because of shame, but also partly to hide her milky-white eye. "I...I just didn't want t-the bear to... hurt him," the lupine stumbled through her words in a soft, raspy and unused voice, searching desperately in her small vocabulary for what to say. Paws shuffled nervously, and she stole another glance at the body before dipping her head solemnly. All the other rogues had voiced their sympathy for the loss, but Haku figured it stung every time the alpha's heard this. He had to have been a great warrior. A bloody, wounded ear flicked once more as she searched for something intelligent to say. " Mmm.. I, um, I don't know what pack wolves smell like. I didn't mean to..." a pause indicated she was searching for the word. " go into your territory." that would have to be good enough. Her cranium angled to the side as she aimed to finally look at the alpha with her good eye, hoping she wouldn't return her view with an angry glare.
