" What a mess!" she'd exclaim, pawing at the barren and rather ugly landscape. Zoey had gotten a bit side tracked while wandering over here. Two pack lands seemed to have mingling scents, throwing her off a bit as she found her way here. Nevertheless, the ruthless bitch had gotten to the borders, crazed orbs looking around to find no such wolf. Zoey plopped her rump firmly on the floor, throwing her head back to coon out a less than pretty sounding howl. In time, it simply faded off into more of a rolling cackle. " Oh, I can't be serious for shit. Who do I think I am," she'd laugh to herself, tail wagging with excitement behind her. The she-wolf couldn't hold her composure for more than a minute before she'd get right back up and pace the borders, a sudden annoyance bleeding into her expression. " Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock" she'd echo, occasionally glancing toward terrain deeper within the pack. Why, my mother's death was faster than these mutts, Zoey thought irritably to herself. Patience, my sweet self. Light brown orbs suddenly caught onto a black feather that fell a few steps deeper into the territory. Without another thought the insane bitch skipped over toward it, carrying it gently within her paw before happily skipping back toward the safety of the borders edge. With a bit of grit and spit, Zoey was able to get the feather suck hanging from the back of her ear. Now i'm beautiful. Her bipolar habits were odd, to say the least. The she-wolf waited and waited, longing for a bit of company to join her while she groomed her average looking pelt, although really only ten minutes had passed. If she was accepted, in time she would have to prove her worth. That wasn't going to be too hard, considering she already knew how to fight like a thousand year old warrior. Well, she couldn't go around boasting about herself, as surely she could be beaten. " I just have a lot murderous experience," she chirped to herself, speaking her thoughts allowed. Someone is going to severely hate me here.

Upon the discovery that Thatcher belonged to this area, Hellion could not figure out what to do. She had moved to travel to Ferus several times, only to stop or retrace her steps for days. After four weeks of travel, going over within her head if she should confront the Alpha or not. Now she was here and she could still feel the icy nervousness move through her veins. She was not one to be nervous but having her past right in her face put her in an unfamiliar situation. Breathing a sigh, she looked around the barren borders. She had to move through several pieces of dense woods, but this place reminder her of her views of this new land. Rocks and hills could be seen for days, dry pieces of shrubbery scattered here and there. Nothing short of a miracle could keep this pack alive if they were as large as they were rumored. Flicking alabaster ears she listened intently to the noises around her, which wasn’t many. Tattered fur was her proof that she was not a pretty she-wolf but a fighter and winner. This would hopefully impress the lumbering beast, if he were to remember her at all. That was the question that had her constantly hesitating. She would make a fool of herself if she assumed he would remember someone as insignificant as she was. Perhaps not, but she hoped he wouldn’t. Was that contradictory? That she both hoped he would not remember her yet fear that he didn’t. Yes, that is contradictory. The best way to describe a she-wolf such as Hellion Cross. Contradictions at their finest. Both beautiful and battle torn. Heartless yet merciful. How she even came into existence is beyond those that knew her best. Stopping just short of a few large boulders, her ears picked up an eerie howl that was not too far from where she stood. Looking lazily in that direction she wondered if she should bother heading there, possibly. Probably. With a sigh she turned her body and began a lumbering walk. Coming to an equally ugly she-wolf, her blue eyes assessed her and judged her in minutes. Not worth the time or effort was basically the expression Hellion wore. The female did not hold the packlands smell and was another rogue waiting for the Alpha to join them. Just like herself. Cringing inwardly at the thought of being compared to the smaller lupine, Hellion Cross turned away and remained standing. One ear angled in the she-wolf’s direction in case she decided to try anything, the other for an answering howl or other noises. While Hellion was thin, she was built with muscle and knew how to fight. Speed, strength, and experience made a deadly combo, something she wielded with familiarity. Should Hellion howl? Perhaps she should, or should not. Multiple howls could just piss off that Alpha more, but could also alert them to multiple rogues. Would they bring in an army if they heard that? Deciding to remain silent, she lowered head and tail, eyes closing and taking a moment to compose herself before the great introduction.

Delicate paws graciously weaved in and out of the dried and dying bushes. The place was a shithole, but she wouldn't complain. Her pretty Iberian pelt blended within the sandy hues of the border, there weren't much hiding places - meaning at least she could spot someone for miles. Vibrant pink eyes narrowed slightly in amongst the surroundings. So far, nothing as she could see. But the scent in the air told a different story. Rogues were already collecting at the other ends of the borders and Kurumi was extremely reluctant to meet them. However she knew pack life was to be social, and at least if she got to know someone - it would give her an early advantage. Stalking quietly, the extremely pretty female followed the scents until her cherry-blossom colored orbs caught sight of an extremely snowy pelt. Upon further investigation, Kurumi saw the ivory lupine talking to someone that of a grey-cream-and-tan pelt. A cinnamon colored ear flickered in slight aggravation. Perhaps socializing wasn't such a grand idea. Kurumi never did too well with other females, she wasn't entirely sure why. So with that, the cute petite female sat a good way away from the two, just quietly observing. She had heard that these lands were blood-soaked. That they had gone to war with another pack not too far away. An attractive smirk crossed Kurumi's lips for a moment but went just as quickly as it came. The pack already seemed interesting enough, then again, she had yet to encounter another wolf. She had journeyed on her own for quite some time, perhaps a friend wouldn't be so bad? Of course she'd had to pick the least obnoxious 'I'm so big and scary - fear me because I'm so far up my own ass' type of wolf - probably for the sake of her own sanity. So with that, the small she-wolf would lay rather gracefully with her tail flickering lazily behind her, scanning the borders for a possible companion or until a pack wolf were to greet herself and the rogues.

Lluise
Delicate white paws fell like feathers on the hard packed earth. The dainty little darling came forward, her bright pelt shining like a star compared to the dullness around her. "Well, they could bother to brighten the place up a bit." The snarled mutter exited Llu's mouth. "This place looks like shit." Her mouth, expected to shame swearing spat the curse before her with intent. She picked her paw up and noticed that the once liver pawpad was brown with dust and dirt. Her tongue slipped from her mouth with disgust and she spat an 'ugh' into the air.
Lluise looked upon three she-wolves nearby, obviously waiting for pack wolves. The little alabaster female yawned and rolled her shoulders with a shrug. She lifted her muzzle upward and howled sweetly, her tone higher pitched and perfect, a wonderful melody. She lowered her head and gazed upon the three with her blue and brown eyes. "Better know them anyways, whether I am accepted or not."
The she-wolf trotted forward and seated herself next to a dark female who looked as crazed on the outside as Llu was inside. "So, dearest, care to tell me your name?"

Rae "With molten eyes and a smile made for war,"
It was a relief to finally be away from the plains of never-ending grass, her young paws eventually leading her to where she believed she needed to go. Despite the harsh ground that she met, it was a smirk that came over her ebony lips at the site of this new and thrilling territory. She sneered to herself as she picked her way through the rocky terrain, the sharpness under every footfall not bothering the yearling as much as it would have three months ago. Though, it was the faces of other rogues that made her mood plummet, those seedy expressions as they await probably for the same reason as her.
Rae cursed under her breath as she watched these faces mill about the area. The first body that she would observe belonged to a dark-hued female, seemingly crazed and perhaps even mentally unstable, Rae made a quick note to stay away from this one, as she honestly couldn't be bothered to interact with someone that would take much energy to talk to. The next face, stark white and twisted in an interesting mix of expressions. Rae merely chuckled to herself at the sight, and promptly moved on, deeming the she-wolf to be a waste of her thought. It was the next two she-wolves that Rae took an interest in, the first being of a darker hue. This one actually seemed to know what she was doing, which Rae could applaud. At least there was someone else here who actually might've had their head on straight, but she did not linger on this thought for too long as she looked to the second blindingly white female, who's sweet and gentle features looked out of place in a land like this and also oddly familiar, but Rae dismissed it, instead turning her sleek body to the direction which she anticipated a pack-wolf to come from.
Her odds of entrance weren't the slim so far, and if they were willing to take her in and train her into whatever kind of soldier they desired, it would be a win for her.

Wynston
Wynston trotted forward with a squirrel clamped in his teeth, his younger body now healthy and even a little muscular perhaps? He had grown slightly larger as he had aged and he had grown more accustomed to being on his own. Thus the pup was slightly surprised when he came upon five other wolves. Ugh, adult females. I hope they don't try to mother me. But this females seemed slightly off. Most were silent, stoic, while others were... odd. They reminded him of his mother in the time before she died. One pretty little white she-wolf seemed out of place here among these strange wolves. She seemed a little too pure and a little too innocent. Oh well. She could do whatever she wanted, it wasn't his business.
Wynston tightened his grip on the squirrel he held which prompted the question of: How can wolves, or anything for that matter, survive here? The place was utterly dry and barren. He had caught the squirrel a while before he approached the pack border and now that he was hot and tired, it would be a great snack. Wynny glanced around at the females, holding his gaze on the most unstable of the bunch for a second longer before seating himself on the cracked earth.
He did not, however, drop the carcass on the ground. He instead held it clamped in his jaws. Perhaps he could present it to the pack wolves as a gift? Would proving that he could hunt well enough for himself improve his chances of joining?
The little one-eyed wolf set it on the ground, placing his paw protectively over it then looked over to a younger female close to his age. He opened his mouth to speak to her but couldn't find the right words and closed his mouth again. He looked around, paws fidgeting, waiting for the pack wolves.

Sakia
Since she had met Tenshi, Sakia found herself growing more accustom, and fond of the male. His teases and badgering had become the norm, and welcomed. In all honesty, they were quite amusing, and silence was not welcome in their travels. Of course, Sakia herself matured into a fine young wolf, at an age of a year. Pulling herself into the territory, the first two scents that hit her sent her to a dead stop; Blood, and Hale. He was here, the brother she had been searching for harbored this territory, the one that reeked of dominance. Sakia was not complaining.
Nudging Tenshi with her head, pressing her thin muzzle into his muscled shoulder to get his attention, she padded forwards, carefully placing down the artifact a foot from the border. "He's here.." Her voice, now soft, was disbelieving, her eyes widened as Hale's faded scent drifted through her body. Suddenly, her head lifted into a loud, clear howl, deep, and almost masculine sounding - aside from where it rose in an almost urgent, but longing pitch. The yearling had nearly forgotten about the other Rogues that were now accumulating around the borders. Glancing towards then with round, piercing optics, she slowly, and carefully picked through then each.
One was an ebony pup, only a couple months younger then herself. With him he brought a squirrel, perhaps a gift. Shrugging, she turned to a alabaster she-wolf, one who was her age. Grumbling under her breath, Sakia stared at her chances of joining, and seeing Hale nosedive off a cliff. There were two other white wolves, and two multicolored ones; one of whom had startling pink eyes.

Creamy, dust-coated paws struck the ground in steady beats, the only sound the quiet scritch that accompanied the brushing of the female’s padded feet against the sun-scorched ground. The air itself seemed as parched as the ground, heavy in her lungs as though all moisture had been leached from it. Barren and desolate were perfect terms for the horizon that stretched out before her; naught but dry earth ahead. Despite the sun beating down from above, the air was cool. Not cold, but crisp enough to remind Miraa that it was, in fact, now autumn. The female’s eyes swept over the terrain. The scent of other wolves was strong enough here, though she wondered who in their right mind would settle in a place so uninhabitable as this. Surely there was not enough prey or water here to sustain an entire pack of wolves, as had been rumored to reside here? It was these rumors of a pack that had brought Miraa away from Rowan’s group in the Brush Lands. She’d been searching for a place in the world to call her own. In the past, that had been alongside a pack, though that had ended . . . badly, to say the least. Perhaps she would have stayed with Rowan’s group, where she’d been accepted well enough, had it not been for the lingering guilt that was ever present in Miraa’s mind, even weeks after the disastrous hunt. The pale she-wolf pushed her thoughts back, turning her attention back to her surroundings. The area through which she trod was a far cry from that which she had so recently left; lacking the trees of the Pass, dripping with the crimson and gold that truly signalled autumn’s arrival. Now, rather than amongst bright and vivid colors, she stood on barren, dehydrated ground, broken only by a few bone-dry scraps of brown grass, kept standing only by their own brittleness. The results of a summer’s drought, she would assume. One that had truly brought hell upon this land. Perhaps there was something hidden from sight, concealed by the distance within the territory, that gave life to at least some small part of the land. How else could the wolves she sensed within the borders survive in such a dismal, unforgiving place? Up ahead, several silhouettes became visible, a howl from that direction having drawn her attention to that particular spot. Miraa froze where she stood. One, two, three . . . Eight. Eight wolves, she counted, gathering not far off in the distance. Slowly, her legs began to work once more, bringing her closer. The multitude of lupines was comprised of a variety of individuals. Male and female, white, black, and every color in between. Some were even quite young, including one particular ebony pup. A part of her wanted to check in on him, to make sure he was alright. However, for now, she kept her distance. Stopping a good several yards from the rest of the amassing wolves, Miraa sat back on her haunches. Caramel orbs swept slowly to and fro, keeping an eye out for trouble from any of these wolves. Another howl passed through the crisp air, clear and sure, belonging to one particularly young female nearby. Miraa contemplated sending out a call of her own. Two wolves had already released summons, and a third could be deemed improper by some.

| Alpha Jay of Ferus
The Alpha, upon taking in the smells from the borders, could already catch that there were more wolves than there were howls. He was a little disgruntled about the fact that there were more wolves than howls, especially considering alerting an Alpha of your presence was key to understanding that they would possibly be accepted. He had only brought himself and Semira because he wasn't sure if there were going to just be two, but if he had known there were going to be more, he would have brought his Generals and Delta with him. A little annoyed by this, he approached the borders. Looking to the array of wolves that were present, it seemed that some were off in the distance. He'd approach the large group first, and see who howled there, and what they wanted. "Who howled? And who did not?" He asked, looking over the wolves with calculating eyes.

Playing the waiting game was practically unbearable. Thankfully, her eyes were entertained with the slow growing mass of rogues that gathered at the borders, a few howling and others just waiting. Lets just start an army and tear this bitches down, would be her thoughts, a sly smirk playing at her features. "Everyone's looking rather ugly this fine morning," she would speak aloud toward herself, driving her unamused gaze away from the many rogues. There were big ones, small ones, fat and skinny, a few adolescents and even a pup. A great big family of mutts, half of which probably wouldn't even be accepted. Zoey rolled her tense shoulders, her visible muscles showing towards the world. It didn't really matter to her if they accepted her or not, though her wisdom and technique in fighting made her very valuable, and they'd all be deemed dumb for giving that up. After all, Ferus was about strength loyalty and trust, all of which things Zoey could perform despite her crazy spirit. Zoey cocked her head to the side slyly, ugly brown hues vibrant as they looked towards an approaching hunk of meat. She heard her little clitter clatter of claws on the rocks as she approached, her small ears keen at listening. " So, dearest, care to tell me your name?" she would inquire sweetly. " Such a pretty little pelt you have, sweetheart. I'm Zoey, nice to meet cha." she would reply, her slang-like accent beginning to return. " And I assume you are..? Boy a picture as perfect as you couldn't have a disgusting name like me," she would continue, smiling before her attention was tore away by a distant moving figure. A pack wolf, finally. Took them long enough, over here moving like grannys. Zoey got off her rump and began trailing toward where the mass of the rogues were generally located, not heavily far from herself. Meanwhile she would offer a devious smile toward the she-wolf she had been talking to, gesturing her head over as if she may perhaps want to join her. As soon as her eyes turned towards the direction she was headed, they would harden, serious. Whether or not she was accepted was none of her concern, but she knew how to control her insane self and how to be obedient with pack superiors. If she wanted to even be considered, she'd need to settle a bit until later. As soon as the large wolf presented himself, a she-wolf alongside him, Zoey would dip her head respectfully, another smile forming at her lips that she couldn't hide. For once she was excited, eager to see if the male would act as cold as she expected. Oh, she was going to love seeing the hurt of frustration on some of the rogues faces. He walked with a certain dominance, the she-wolf behind him staying a comfortable distance away. The alpha. " Who howled? And who did not?" came his bold inquiry. Zoey was the very first to speak up, excitement filling her voice. " Hello, sir, I howled" she chirped, wagging her tail slightly behind her. To herself, she wondered if some of the wolves here would lie, and if that would they conceal the lie well? The male looked around at his options with observant eyes, and surely he would detect something if a wolf couldn't cover their tracks well.

Alpine
A white female enters the Ferus outskirts and steps in one paw after another. She spots the Alpha of Ferus and waits a moment, she doesn't want to seem unwelcoming, but she also doesn't want to seem cowardice. She slowly trotted her way over to the Alpha. If you want to be noticed you got to make your self noticed. As Alpine reached the Alpha male she bowed her head down in respect, she held it for the appropriate amount of time necessary. Alpine soon looked up at the Alpha and spoke after the petty female Zoey. "Due to the amount of wolves here I can tell that you already know why I'm here." Alpine was confident and had nothing that was going to take that away. "So I am going to go straight to the chase to waste less time. I am Alpine, I will be honest I am not built for speed, although I am strong in the strength area. Alpine paused to let the Alpha gather everything she had said. "I am experienced in the concept of scouting, Ive been practicing that ever since I matured." The white female finished and bowed her again in respect. Now I know that getting wolves for his pack isn't going to be easy its not like some of these wolves who aren't approuching him are going to get accepted, they seem to cowardice, and I know that's not what someone from Ferus wants. Alpine thought crudely.
Alpine waited for a response.

Lluise
Lluise smiled and blushed like she actually cared what the female, Zoey, said about her. "Such a pretty little pelt you have, sweetheart. I'm Zoey, nice to meet cha. And I assume you are..? Boy a picture as perfect as you couldn't have a disgusting name like me," Lluise smiled like an angel and fidgeted like she was flattered. "The name is Lluise. You can call me Llu though, everyone does." When Zoey moved away, the alabaster angel smiled and chirped after her. "Good luck hun." Before noticing the large, handsome male entering the range.
"Who howled? And who did not?" His confident tones and prideful stance positioned him as pack Alpha, or Beta but that was less likely. Lluise sauntered closer and took a seat, smiling gently as Zoey announced that she had howled. When she had finished, the alabaster bitch spoke up, her face a gentle but slightly cocky smile playing on her lips. "I also did, dear. The name is Lluise by the way, it's good to meet you."

| As Semira approached the borders, she couldn't help but realize that all of the rogues present were...aggressively mediocre. Keeping her head level, she allowed herself to take on a dominant position, of course smaller then the Alpha himself. Glancing at the male, the annoyance in his gaze and voice was apparent. But, Semira expected this much. It was clear that not all the wolves who had approached had any knowledge when it came to approaching a pack. Maybe no knowledge in general. With emotionless grey orbs, the Sentinel looked over each and everyone of the wolves, one of whom looked oddly familiar, and smelled familiar. Narrowing her eyes, Semira looked at the female, suddenly realizing. Hale's sister. Now her heart lurched, had the female come all this way to find her brother? Semira's cool grey orbs lingered on the toy she had brought with her, it was covered in bite marks and scratch marks. Keeping a professional facade, the obsidian hued bitch couldn't help but let her mind linger on her brother.
One of the rogues happily chirped her reply, a small grin plastered across her expression. Soon, an alabaster female barged forwards, introducing herself complete with a reason, and a snarky attitude. Semira watched her with an even gaze, calm and collected, staring down the apparently named Alpine. "Hold the speech," The sentinel interrupted the female, black plumage held in line with her spine. Soon enough, another snowy bitch pitched in, throwing in the word 'dear' to address her potential Alpha. Flicking dark auricles in hidden unease, Semira awaited Jay's orders before doing anything further.

Rae "With molten eyes and a smile made for war,"
Her burning optics flickered to stare at the mass of black fur that had seemed to be trying to find words to say to her, his younger maw opening, words perching at the edge of his tongue before he chose the right thing to do and shut his mouth. Rae smirked at this, at the lack of courage or brains that it took for this youngling to try and talk to her, but she did not focus on it for long as the arrival of two new faces caught her attention, especially the female who seemed to be the same age as Rae. She could already tell that they would either go together like peaches and cream or give each other the title of rivals. Though it would be nice to have a friend within the pack, and she hoped that she would, she'd also love to have a rival that she could shove in the mud from time to time. Rae simply chuckled to herself at this thought before finally shifting her focus back to the land in front of her.
It was the larger and well-built form that came towards them that had Rae's body become tense, her shoulders rolled back and head held level with the rest of her body. It was her attempt at looking tough while also giving respect to the Alpha as he neared. "Who howled? And who did not?" Were the first words that spilled from his mouth, the tone stern and confident. Rae was mesmerised by his presence, but it was a low growl aimed towards herself that stuck in her throat as she realised what she had not yet done. She would not stay quiet this time, as the Alpha had asked a question, so she would gladly answer. Rae took a step forward. "Apologies, Alpha. I didn't get the chance." She replied with the shortest answer that she could muster, trying not to take up too much of his time. Rae simply gave the male a nod of respect before she stepped back to where she had been standing.
"Due to the amount of wolves here I can tell that you already know why I'm here. So I am going to go straight to the chase," Rae's attention suddenly jumped to the wolf who began talking, the attitude and tone in their voice being a little too cocky for her liking, and they had already said way to many words for Rae to begin caring about what was coming from their mouth. She simply grumbled to herself and rolled her eyes before bringing herself to look back to the Alpha's paws. At the moment, she only really cared about the Alpha and his verdict, and the pretty black she-wolf that had accompanied him.

| Alpha Jay of Ferus
Jay flicked his ears, listening to those that responded correctly. They obviously knew how they were replying and everything else. One of them also admitted to the fact that she had not howled, and he gave a nod to her as well. He would ask all of them each questions about what their intentions were, and what they were doing here, but a dastardly white female walked in before the Alpha could even utter a word. Annoyance flickered over Jay's face as his ear flicked towards the female, listening to what she had to say. Semira's snarky comment made him want to chuckle slightly. It seemed that the Sentinel also didn't want to listen to the lupine bitch that had decided to act as if she owned the territory. Giving a small glare into the others eyes, his green orbs bored into the female. "Might I ask where I said you could speak out of turn, pest?" He asked, looking towards her. He then looked towards Semira before holding himself higher. "A cocky bitch like you isn't welcomed at my borders. You're rude, absolutely ignorant and lacking in every proportion besides your overwhelming arrogance. Get lost," The Alpha spoke, looking towards the female harshly. "You aren't the top bitch around here," He growled before turning to the others, now completely ignoring the female. He would be alert if she were to attack, but he would not utter another word towards her. Jay was harsh, no emotion present in his appearance at all. "Now the ones that have spoken to me, I give you one chance to state why you should be in the Ferus Pack, and only one chance. Go," He said, looking towards the other wolves. If they were to speak out of turn, they would surely get the treatment that they deserved. Which was being sent away from the pack. His eyes lingered towards Semira, nodding for her to come forward and help him judge which rogues would be suitable for the pack. He liked the respect that was in the white female's voice, whom stated that she hadn't howled. As well as the respect in the other female who had. He wasn't sure about the other bitch that howled however. There seemed to be something off about her. Like she was an Absinthe incarnate. None the less, Jay would simply wait for them to speak, and if any of the others were going to speak, they would hold their tongue until they were addressed.
