No Man's Land between the Lubrusca Pack territory and the muddy pine terrain. The soil here is rather muddy, some parts more so than others, and the brush here is hard and thick. There are a few areas of trees here, but it's mostly open with thick brush to hide in. Prey is pretty scarce, but you can find hares, frogs, rats, mice, thrushes and other small birds, and sometimes you may pass by a deer or a passel of hogs if you are lucky. Bears are also occasionally present here too, but usually just passing though.

Snakes/Lizards (venomous/nonvenomous) - Game birds - Hare - Rats & Mice - Squirrels
When it comes to small game, the player can choose whether or not their wolf makes the kill. Please keep in mind that a wolf does not make a successful kill every time, usually a best two out of three. Also, please note the territory you are hunting in and the prey listed. Please do not roleplay otherwise. Please give adequate details and length for lone small game hunts.

Whitetail Deer - Hogs
When it comes to larger game, a minimum of two wolves (three for hogs) are required to start a hunt. A Random Number Generator will be used by an admin to declare if the hunt was a success or not. Please PM an admin with the hunting details so they can respond in turn. Large game hunts cannot be finished in less than 4 posts.

The presence of other predators during large game hunts will show up at random intervals by the use of a RNG by an admin, unless requested otherwise in PM. Fatalities from said events are only acceptable if the player of the victim allows it.

Logan wasn't sure how long he'd been walking for. Hell, he didn't even know where he was. All he knew in that time frame was that he wanted to keep his mate safe, his world and the little stars and moons she carried with her. He felt the familiar spike of anxiety at the thought he that he wouldn't be able to provide a safe haven for them. But he was determined that he would. A small smile graced his handsome features at the thought of little white and tangerine puppies running about. He never thought he'd be the father type, but now, he couldn't wait. A small fantasy playing out in his head of getting to teach his kids to hunt for the first time, to play dead as they all ambush him in a play fight. But most importantly, on a cold winter evening, curling up next to his beautiful mate with small fluff-balls of snow and fire huddled between them. A wide smile ghosted over his features, yeah, he definitely couldn't wait.
Turning to Lilac, he gently gave a small nuzzle to her cheek, a silent thank-you. A whisper of "My Goddess." slipping past his lips as he smiled, relishing in the feeling of her warmth and scent. Logan could tell Lilac how much he loved her all day every day if he could, until his voice became inaudible if so be. He placed a gentle lick along the top of her head before slowly continuing in the direction they had been heading all this time. The brush of these lands had become slowly less and less over the winter. The cold making their leaves and branches drop like flies. Perhaps he could probably find a small place for them to rest for the night, knowing travelling couldn't be all too easy for Lilac. Yet he didn't doubt her strength, she was his little princess but she was as tough a castle.
Slowly padding next to his pretty mate, Logan took in a moment of silence before turning to the crystal beauty next to him. "Kendrix?" he'd wait for any kind of reaction before continuing. "I-if there's a boy... I like the name Kendrix." He said a little shyly, hoping Lilac would like the name too.

Cersiren awoke extremely early as usual, no hint of orange tinted the sky. Instead, it was that sort of peaceful 'before the storm' kind of feeling. The sky was a dark blue, slowly brightening to that before-dawn cerulean color. The clouds that had previously been unviewable or too black to see were now catching the light even more than the sky, turning to light puffs of blue-grey. This calm time of morning was Cersiren's favorite time, where it was like a smooth ocean, then the sun would come and bring energy with it. The sky would catch on fire and in mere minutes go from that of a dark blue to that of a mottled, orange, red, purple mess, but a beautiful mess. Slowly the color would creep until it had taken over the whole horizon, then become its regular sky blue. It was one of her favorite things to see. This quiet morning, she walked outside of the den, and streeeeetched her agile, lithe body. The chill crept through her fluffy white coat and settled on her skin, causing her to shiver a bit. She roamed around very close to the den, not wanting Seymour to think she had left, and looked at the plants around her, something she did a lot to keep her medical memory refreshed. She looked at one plant, and would cite its name, its uses, and how to use it on a wound in her head, and then she would move on to do the same with another plant. Soon enough, she settled down, laying on the ground amidst some chaparral whitethorn flowers, the light purple of the petals contrasting against her fur and warm, reddish eyes quite beautifully.
@seymour OOC: Why yes I did look up plants that grow in brushlands and looked and found chaparral whitethorn because I wanted it to be accurate xD)

Seymour had been sleeping peacefully among the heather that swayed. Shielded from the breeze, he peacefully dreamt of chasing rabbits and rolling around playing in the soft grass of a meadow. As the bright sun beamed down and sprinkled the clearing with its beautiful rays, Seymour felt a nagging sensation. Like he was supposed to be awake. Looking around, his ghostly white eyes blinked once, and then twice. He went from the bright grassy meadow to a blurry vision that possessed nothing but a pale brown heather color. Sighing as his dream was over, he looked around and wondered if Cersiren was awake. He had been staying near the female since they had first met. He had somewhat made a friend out of her, but he was still slightly walking on eggshells compared to how he would with a friend. He didn't want to upset her, or make her angry; even if that seemed impossible.
Bringing himself to his feet, he yawned widely, letting his jaws gape open as he let out a large whine. Arching his spine as he stretched, he let himself fully wake up before he decided on looking for Cersiren and seeing if she was awake. The eurasian wolf moved about the small patch of land that they were occupying, and found the white she-wolf rather easily. It seemed that she was doing something, although he wasn't quite sure what. Whether or not he understood, he approached her slowly, letting his limbs adjust to movement once more after being asleep for so long. Approaching with sleepy eyes and sleepy limbs, Seymour gave a small tired smile to Cersiren. "Good morning," He said to the she-wolf, looking towards her with white eyes that were soft and starting to slowly wake up.
@cersiren shitty post sorry xD

The monotonous she-wolf wasted no time eating her share of the boar. She had spent too much time and energy on the hunt for the boar, and the hunt for the pup she had discovered afterwards. Her slender form required the nutrients to continue to function, and with her new rank, functioning well would be a priority. She knew that a few of the wolves would not know about her new promotion yet, including possibly her brother, but she was not about to bring it up in casual chatter. With time, Rowan would have to bring it up; hopefully when he returned from speaking with Hye-Su. The inky youngling held potential, but the natural suspicion of strangers that was instilled deep within the chocolate female didn't allow her to fully trust the other she-wolf. While the majority of the group ate, her ears were constantly flicking between whatever small talk was going on and the grasses where her Alpha talked. When the chunk of pork she had torn off was fully consumed, she rose to her paws. The now trio of pups were eating well, especially Mint. The journey that he had made over the past two months was one of true success. With only minimal help from Snow Rose before she left, his recovery was nothing short of a miracle. His health had improved dramatically, as had his social skills. His vocabulary was still being worked on, but it was nothing to be concerned about with Dusty now fully available to assist him. Joy seemed increasingly comfortable with Raisa, just as she had from the beginning. Joy surely lived up to her name, something that she could presume that the other wolves could appreciate. Wingnut had no opinion on the matter, as long as the golden pup didn't get under her paws. This latest pup, Niqo seemed amusingly mature, so Wingnut predicted having few problems with the growing male. Taking her time to clean off her jowls, Wingnut simply kept watch of their surroundings, keeping an ear on thebrush around them and on Rowan and Hye-Su. Of course, she couldn't hear their conversation, but hearing the timbre of their voices in neutral tones was what she was looking for. OOC: Wasn't sure about mentioning the fire or not. I don't remember if this group wanted it xD @twizzle @rain @dusty Guardian Raisa Alpha Rowan Scout Hye-Su @niqo @joy @mint @sorryifimissedanyone!!!!

Seymour appeared to be awake. He walked out to greet her, sleepiness clinging to his limbs and his eyelids. She kind of felt bad about the fact that he slept outside, there was room in the den, but it was sort of something he chose to do and she did not object to, probably because of the slightly awkward state of their relationship.
"Good morning," he says, his morning demeanor very familiar, reminding her of her pups. They would wake up and slowly clamor over to her face, their little pink mouths opening in yawns, and heavy eyelids drooping over their colored eyes. They would tell her good morning, their morning voices raspy, and if they were just too sleepy to wake up yet, curl against her chest or her arm, which made her want to not have any work that day. Mentally shaking these memories away, she gives Seymour a small smile, raising her chin in that graceful manner in which she always moved so casually.
"Good morning, Seymour," she says, her warm, red eyes looking into his white ones. She had never seen a wolf with such color eyes, and they were so different from hers. Her stomach rumbles a bit, and she flexes it to make it stop. Slight embarrassment crosses her face and a small chuckle escapes her lips. "I don't know about you but it sounds like I could use some breakfast." She rises to her feet and gives a shake, carefully not to get any of the dry brush or dirt that flew off of her pelt onto him. They were in a 'friendly but polite' sort of relationship, and it was almost formal, which made anything beyond their comfort zone slightly awkward.

Mint "Curiouser And Curiouser!"
Mint beamed as he bounded merrily toward the mousy brown pup, kicking up small clouds of tan dust as he charged. It was so hard to contain his emotions at times like these! After all, why should he try to hold it all in when there was a new pup to roughhouse with and explore with and chat with? It was like shaking up a soda can and then not opening it. What was the point in that? Speeding forward, the unusual pup skidded to a gangly-legged stop across from the new pup with the biggest grin stretched over his face. "Hi! Hi!" Mint practically vibrated as he planted his boney rump on the ground, kissing the weeds with his tail beats as he greeted the youth. Shoving both oversized, floppy ears to their limits, the pup leaned in a little as he opened his mouth again.
"I am Mint! Who're you?" His banner slapped the dirt in a quickening beat as he yapped, unable to handle the excitement that came with the idea of a new friend joining his little family. Without a moment of pause for the other to speak, Mint opened his peachy lips again to bark. "Your eyes are nice." Mint chided without hesitation, spilling his thoughts out in a jumbled and hardly understandable mess. It was true though, he really liked the new wolf's eyes. They were pretty little stones tucked into his head, slanted ones that looked sharp and intelligent, not flat or dead or something.

Twizzle "You remind me of a pup I was, once."
As Twizzle released the knot of flesh and muscle gripped tightly in his teeth, his sister quickly began to feast ravenously upon the slumped carcass, ripping into it with a gusto that seemed uncountered. As she continued to get her fill, the milk chocolate male too gave in and began to fill his empty stomach with the boar's juicy meat, digging in with the utmost care as to not get his appearance too messed up. Though he noticed Wingnut's compulsive ear twitches and flickering pupils as she fed, he sought not to question her actions and continued his ravagement of the corpse. She always seemed to be on top of the group and everyone's current condition so it didn't seem unusual for her to be keeping track of things even while she ate.
Twizzle was still munching away as the bitch beside him straightened and moved away, leaving him alone to finish his portion of the pig. It was odd; since the siblings had reunited there had been very little interactions between the two. Even the exchange of words with them had been brief and lacking, as if they had no previous ties whatsoever. Licking the blood from his sculpted maw, the lithe brute lifted his crown enough to view his poised sister in his peripheral vision. Perhaps when all of the excitement had died down and everyone had settled in, he could her aside and get to know her better. It was long overdue.
Uncoiling his lanky limbs from underneath him, Twizzle curled his slender torso round and rejoined his peers without a word.

Niqo was slightly surprised but happy when another pup bounded over to him. This pup was certainly unique looking, with stark white fur and a pink nose and ears, with striking blue eyes like his own. The pup bounded towards Niqo, and Niqo could not suppress a grin from reaching across his muzzle. The pup slightly clumsily skirted to a stop in front of Niqo, his excitement practically vibrating off of him in waves.
"Hi! Hi!" said the pup, his excitement contagious. "I'm Mint! Who are you? Your eyes are nice!" the pup says, unable to complete just one sentence and wait for an answer. Niqo smiled at the pup, who was now his, well, colleague? Now that he had joined this group. However, he could not be sure as to whether this group were permanently accepting him or planned to later put him on his way or pass him on to someone else. This pup was very nice, however, and Niqo was glad to be getting some social interaction, instead of perhaps sitting around, unsure of what to do here.
"Hello, my name is Niqo." the brown pup says. "Thank you, your eyes are quite striking as well!" he compliments this other pup, whose appearance was indeed, striking. How unique. Niqo sat his bum down and focused his ears and eyes and attention on this pup, who was a possible new friend. How exciting the idea of a friend was, he hadn't had one for quite some time.

To Sollux, it seemed as though the entire world was trying to suffocate him. His eyes burned, his throat burned; this damned smoke would be the death of him. His heart throbbed as he desperately tried to keep near Eleven in that horrifying blur of time. A ravenous beast was chasing them - one that was blazing and furious, and wouldn’t stop for anything. It was all they could do to run.
Sollux barely saw where he was going as they dashed across the plains, dry grass rustling and crackling as they tore through it. Eleven’s tiny, sandy form was nearly lost to him amidst the choking, black smoke. He knew that, behind them, the golden brush of the land was being devoured. He couldn’t lose her, not now - and especially not to that.
The pair halted beneath a short, scraggly tree. It’s leaves were browning with the onset of autumn, and the young male couldn’t help but wonder with morbid curiosity if those leaves would soon be ashes. He prayed that he and Eleven wouldn’t go with them. He looked down at his quivering companion. They were both panting and tired from their terror-fueled dash, and Sollux could feel his heart hammering in his chest. He wondered if his friend could hear it, too.
Eyes of chocolate and rose raked across their surroundings, and that hammering heart of his sank. Smoke not only rose from the way they came; it roiled and twisted through the air like an oily tide, seeming to surround them. It was hard to tell where the flames were, though he was beginning to see the flickers of orange and gold lapping at the brush as though they were serpentine tongues tasting the air for their next meal. Behind them, in front of them.
There’s no way out.
Terror flooded his veins, choking him just as the smoke soon might. He needed to calm down, needed to take care of Eleven - no matter what happened. He edged slowly away from the tree, brushing against the smaller female. He looked at her with a somber expression. He tried desperately to keep his lisp-tainted voice from shaking as he spoke quickly and softly. His voice was firm, despite the whine of desperation building in his throat.
“Now, I’m not very good at this, but I need you to listen to me. I know you’re probably scared right now. Trust me, I am too. But we’re going to get out of this, okay? I promise, I'm not going to let anything happen to you. I'm going to keep you safe.” He leaned forward and pressed his muzzle gently against Eleven’s flank. “We’re going to be okay, I promise,” he whispered. He wasn’t sure if he was speaking more to the female or to himself.
We’re going to be okay.

The friendly wolf looked towards his companion as she spoke about breakfast. He knew that she would probably wake up hungry, and he already knew that she wasn't very good at hunting, they had been around each other long enough, and she avoided hunting as much as possible. And if she did, she'd often let Seymour take over, or do something of that kind. He didn't mind, hunting wasn't at all bad for him, it was one of his better skills. Fighting he wasn't very good at, but it was almost the same as hunting. He would need to sharpen his skills while living in the rogue territories, but he hoped to change that with time. Giving her a smile, his ghostly white eyes scanned around them.
"I think we should look at getting probably something smaller, maybe two rabbits?" He asked her, looking towards her. "I can get one, and you could try for another? If not, I can always wait until later to eat," He said, looking towards her, knowing that she might not appreciate him approaching the subject of her not being able to hunt. But it would need to be addressed one way or another, and if she wanted help, all she had to do was ask him, and he would give her hunting lessons. He just didn't want to push and cross over boundaries that he had no idea about, and lose his companion. Sweeping his eyes over the territory, he was already spotting places that he start hunting at while he waited for her response.

Mint "Curiouser And Curiouser!"
Mint was ecstatic to find the pup's gorgeous blue eyes directed at him, the genuine smile blossoming on the other's slim features prompting a pearlescent tail whipped gleefully behind him. "Hello, my name is Niqo." The mousy brown pup responded with the utmost care, voice filled with adult-like sophistication as he enunciated each syllable. It was rather impressive, at least to the quirky little whelp, as even some of the big, grownup wolves around the area didn't take as much care with their speech. But this one--Niqo--seemed advanced, knowledgable and well-spoken, with social capabilities that were far beyond Mint's reach at that point in time.
"Thank you, your eyes are quite striking as well!" Though he wasn't fully capable of understanding of some of the larger words Niqo presented, the albino coy-wolf got the gist of his jovial statement and gratefully started up the rapid slapping of his scrawny pennant once again, powder blue eyes sparkling with merriment as he bounded back a step, then fell into a ditsy bow, rump waggling in the air as he chirped, "Wanna be..." He trailed off, mind scrambling to fetch one of the words he had recently learned as one oversized ear bowed over his head. Thank you? No, no. Maybe your welcome? Nuh uh. "Wanna be wolves?" He yipped, naive and innocent face beaming up toward his peer. Then realized his mistake. Brow knotting, the whelp furiously tossed his bleached crown from side to side, rattling his brain for the just-right word.
After a long pause, the quirky creature perked up, youthful features alighting as he spread his lean jaws in an excited yip of joy. "Fur-end-zzz!" Mint exclaimed, proud to have remembered the important word that the big wolves had taught him. "Wanna be Fur-end-zzz?"

For a moment, amethyst eyes flickered towards flat, torrid earth, as if all plausible answers would suddenly appear shimmering on its open plains. An onyx maw opened; attempting to assemble soft, tentative slips of sound into a tangible answer. Instinctively, a brief apology began to build atop his tongue for any and all prying, apprehensive pushiness the questions might have held. Already, for a five minute acquaintanceship, he'd attempted to root the raven yearling's problems up by their brunt, heedlessly shoving himself into matters that hadn't concerned him to begin with. Shaken, flustered shock gripped the gaunt yearling's features, only for a flash of a second - but he already had seen it. The softest, imperceptible slip of uncertainty at her answer. She had given him the entire truth without uttering a single chiming syllable. Either she was in an immanent danger of previously angered packmates, or she offered no tangible skills to contribute. Forgivable and fixable on both immediate behalfs. Enemies could always be avoided with a wisp of good sense, and skill could be continuously taught and refined. A fine, simple fix. What he would find unforgivably, truly unfixable would be a bold-faced lie. "I understand your worry," she began, drawing her darkened features upwards to meet his own. Hye-Su remained sensationally, remarkably stoic in her initial approach, her focus singularly fixated on her object of original interest - which, for whatever hewn reasoning - happened to be himself. "I'm not fleeing from anyone, not anymore. They aren't chasing me and will not be a threat to you and yours. I have been trained in pack politics, hunting and fighting strategies, and self control." A steadfast, attentive quality aged her beyond her years; a youthful maturity. Lavender eyes lifted suddenly against Rowan's own ashen, monocular one, searing with a wonderful, blazing ambition; a direct steadfast determination unaccustomed to her typical age group. Completely, utterly confident in her choice of a group, alpha, and mentor, however three-legged, however one-eyed he might have appeared. "You are the first group I have stumbled upon, where scents are still rogue but mingle together as one. A large rogue grouping that has structure, claimed land, and bonds is the place I want to be, where I can learn the skills that was refused to me." A gentle, amused huff. She had made her decision already, no matter what he wanted to answer, and had shoved herself under his wing. How could he refuse? "You've made your decision," he smiled, granting a grey tail reign to swish lightly. "I'm not the wolf that will stand in your way. Welcome to the Brush Lands, Hye-Su." A soft groan slipped through sorrel jaws as he regained his feet - pulling himself from well-faded haunches proved a chore - but a bum hip never worked exact wonders. "I'm afraid I must question your choice of tutor. However, if a crippled, half-blind brute is what you want, I won't be the one to object. I've seen my share of fighting." Jokingly, he jerked his crippled limb, closing his singular eye to match the missing. "But you probably noticed." A short, amused hum filled his throat as he took her in. "Strategy is all fine and dandy. But strategy by itself never won a war. Skill always must accompany it." A thick, ashen paw loosely pointed towards camp. " Follow me. I'll take you around camp and introduce you, and you can eat your fill. After that, we'll spar." A playful, amiable glint suddenly gleaned against grey. "And I'll assess you. We'll begin training based on that." Ebony-tipped ears twitched lightheartedly. "I fear I must correct you before we return. We're not exactly a 'pack,' per-say. We're more - a collaboration." "My task is to advise," he began as thick, ashen grass subtly gave way to wet, fertile earth. "I used to help lead hunts." His crippled limb jerked loosely. "Not much now. Wingnut has sworn herself to me as her alpha, but I find I dislike the term." He paused, taking a moment to watch the somberly analytical she-wolf at work. "That's her. Incredibly intelligent, always been able to think two, three steps ahead. She and her brother Twizzle make a perfect hunting pair - I'm sure that she'd enjoy an apt pupil. She's a sensible wolf, so remain sensible, and she'll remain sweet. As sweet as she can be, at least." He pressed forwards, pausing before the whelping den. "That's Dusty - the pup nibbling at his heels is Joy. Poor darling." A soft, gentle sigh passed his lips, only momentarily. "He's a sweet, amiable sort. Just take care with idle chatter - you'll never manage to escape. Joy's a sweetheart. Just play with her occasionally and give her your full attention when she wants it. It makes her happy." A shrill, childish shriek of laughter met thin, mottled ears. "Mint - our marvelous oddity." A short, playful laugh rumbled within his throat as he regarded him and his playmate. "A peculiar little pup, but I'm glad we found him when we did. The pup he's playing with is - oh dear." He scrunched his nose up as he attempted to recall his name. "New arrival? Don't believe I've yet introduced myself. In time." "Last but not least," he drew on, lingering in front of the snow-kissed she-wolf. "Raisa - still rather new, but I think she's melding in nicely. Aren't you, Raisa?" He quipped, his tone lightheartedly teasing. Hye-Su watched intently after her little speech and the huff didn't go unnoticed. Her ears flicked forward, eyes narrowing as she wondered what she could have said that would've been seen as amusing to the older wolf. Did her words come off as naive? Her own reflection upon her words had her acknowleding that indeed her words could have came off as naive, especially to older wolves. Hye-Su would have to avoid that, as being naive about the world was becoming more and more of a pet-peeve and self displeasure.
Plum eyes returned to him as he spoke, unknowingly had her eyes wondered to the scenery behind him. The welcoming of his words had her face breaking into a large grin, one that showed genuine appreciation. The first real emotion that she let linger on her face as she spoke soft words that could only be described as a soft brook, "thank you." She would show her new leader her true appreciation one day and she would not let one day go by that she would fail or disappoint Rowan.
Eyes narrowed in concern from his groan, and she moved only slightly as if she would use her body to help but hesitated. He seemed to gather himself quick enough to where her help wasn't needed. Letting the concern wash away her face returned to her previous stoic expression as she gained control once more over her emotions. "I'm afraid I must question your choice of tutor. However, if a crippled, half-blind brute is what you want, I won't be the one to object. I've seen my share of fighting." His words her held in jest but still, she couldn't help but let out a small huff of disagreement of her own.
"You may be injured, but the others around you still look at you for leadership and command, that shows a great deal of respect from them but also shows that you are a good leader," Hye-Su defended herself in her choice of tutor. Her own body seeming to cement itself into the ground as she voiced her opinion of the 'cyclopes'. Her wide stance would probably look wrong in a way for self-defense, which was something obvious that Rowan would need to teach her. Her own lack of knowledge of fighting and self-defense would prove to be her main need for growth.
Ebony tipped ears flicked to him as he began his teachings, her tail flicking in appreciation at the immediate response to teaching her. "Strategy is all fine and dandy. But strategy by itself never won a war. Skill always must accompany it.
"Follow me. I'll take you around camp and introduce you, and you can eat your fill. After that, we'll spar." Small ebony paws picked up pace behind the older male, her eyes and ears pointed only at him, he would be her main focus for the next several days, and perhaps weeks. "And I'll assess you. We'll begin training based on that. - I fear I must correct you before we return. We're not exactly a 'pack,' per-say. We're more - a collaboration."
Her head cocked in curiosity at his words, her voice chiming in, "But isn't that what a pack is? A collaboration between entities?" To her, this group held the possibilities of a pack if Rowan did indeed wish to take land at some point but she wondered why he wasn't interested in such a feat. This only added to the beginning glow that surrounded him. Not only was he well respected by everyone around him, he had no greed or ambition that had filled her previous family. To her, he was beginning to look like a Saint.
Rowans own remark of disliking the term Alpha had her mind already going for other terms for leader. She would try out any and all terms until he would give into one or another, but this would end up being term she would only use towards him, a form of endearment that might have more weight as she grew older. "My task is to advise, - I used to help lead hunts." She would pause in steps as his limbs would jerk, was he still not accustomed to walking on three legs? The injuries did indeed look recent, but she was not where near trained enough to assume one way or another. "Not much now. Wingnut has sworn herself to me as her alpha, but I find I dislike the term." Pausing once again, plum eyes followed to where he was looking to see the first wolf to address her earlier. "That's her. Incredibly intelligent, always been able to think two, three steps ahead. She and her brother Twizzle make a perfect hunting pair - I'm sure that she'd enjoy an apt pupil. She's a sensible wolf, so remain sensible, and she'll remain sweet. As sweet as she can be, at least." So that she-wolf was Wingnut? She appeared to be someone Hye-Su would be able to get along with, and Rowans words only proved her initial thought to be correct. The brother on the other hand she would have to get used to. Her previous experiences with males proved to make her nervous and uncertain; Rowan being one of the few adult males that she looked to and felt at ease around and not tense or the need to hold herself a certain way to avoid conflict. Following her mentor as he pressed forward she began to access the group as he spoke, following with bright eyes to each individual.
"That's Dusty - the pup nibbling at his heels is Joy. Poor darling. - He's a sweet, amiable sort. Just take care with idle chatter - you'll never manage to escape. Joy's a sweetheart. Just play with her occasionally and give her your full attention when she wants it. It makes her happy." Hye-Su nodded her head at the idle command to play with Joy, she was not opposed to pups but she never got along with younger wolves, much less wolves her own age so that always made her a little anxious. "Mint - our marvelous oddity." The laugh from Rowan had her ebony head turning towards him, absorbing the sound with a flick of an ear. Intently she watched him as he continued to speak, only breaking away as he moved forward. "A peculiar little pup, but I'm glad we found him when we did. The pup he's playing with is - oh dear. - New arrival? Don't believe I've yet introduced myself. In time."
"Last but not least, - Raisa - still rather new, but I think she's melding in nicely. Aren't you, Raisa?" Hye-Su cocked her head towards the she-wolf, the teasing voice from Rowan did not go unnoticed, just like everything else he did. But she wondered what the teasing was supposed to mean. The tiny ebony she-wolf was truly unaware of social situations between males and females and did not pick up it up between the two, merely assuming friendliness. "This is our newest charge, Hye-Su."
At the introduction Hye-Su bowed her head low to Raisa, a polite controlled smile moving across her features. "It's a pleasure to meet you," she quipped up, her voice moving softly like water over pebbles in the spring. Looking over to the boar her own stomach growled loudly and remembering her previous hunger her mouth watered. A salmon tongue swiped across her maw in thought and turning back to Rowan, "It's okay that I go eat now?" her voice, for the first time reflected her age and innocence as she sought approval by him.
Once Rowan approved she turned and trotted over, trying her hardest to not just dive into the boar, she tore a sizeable piece away before moving off to the side. She remained within the group but was far enough away where felt comfortable to eat. Digging in, she lost some control and tore into the pork as if she hadn't eaten in a long while, which was true. Small snarls escaped her lips from over excitement at getting to eat and did in up making a mess across her snout and paws. Pulling away as she finished, she sat on her rump and promptly began to clean herself, plum eyes watching the interactions of everyone.

R A I S ARogue Raisa was peacefully minding her own business. Having gotten her chance at the kill, she didn't need anything else. She was simply watching Joy, and whatever the pup was doing. It made Raisa's heart melt how the little pup seemed to be rather interested in Raisa, and the white she-wolf couldn't help but be excited that she had someone to look after. Raisa's ultimate want, was to have little ones of her own, but she would wait for the right time before she would have them. She would want to find the right male, settle down with him, giving them a nice place to stay and hunt while she finally was pregnant and giving birth to the pups a few short months later. That was the perfect life Raisa imagined, but ultimately she knew that in the rogue lands it was hard to do just that. Settling down and having puppies left you vulnerable to the wolves around you. And who knew what could happen in that amount of time.
She was best staying on her own, caring for the ones that she came across. Perking her ears as two wolves approached her, she looked up to see Rowan and a new she-wolf. Studying his teasing nature, she wasn't sure on what that meant, but she offered the new member a smile. "Hello there," She said, smiling, rose eyes catching a glimpse of the others as she interacted with them. Having completely disregarded what Rowan said, she dipped her head. "I think I've adjusted well, even if I've not been here for very long," She said, looking towards Rowan with a smile. The male treated everyone with respect, even if they were wolves that didn't deserve the respect that he would give them. She had never seen Rowan grow mad with anyone, but of course, she would eventually see that side of him, since she was new to the scene, and had hardly gotten to know the male. As the new she-wolf headed off after getting permission to eat, Raisa approached Rowan and started speaking.
"What's she about?" She asked casually, looking towards the large male with rose pools soft and filled with a kindness that almost no one possessed. Raisa was an extremely beautiful wolf at her best, but even when she was being casual, she was something to look at. Swishing her tail behind her, to have Joy join her if she wanted, Raisa, let her gaze fall towards the new member whom was feasting on the boar.
