Character Name:
Eclipse
Character Description:
Eclipse is a small male of 2’ 4” at the shoulder, 3’ in length, and weighs about 120lbs. Starting at his head, he has two bright red orange orbs set in almond shaped eyes surrounded by thick black fur. Below the eyes is an immediate contrast of fur, starting slightly below his eyes and moving to the rest of his head is black fur. Below his eyes and going down his muzzle and his neck is bright white, almost silvery fur. From the top of his neck, going across his back and down all of his tail is black, fluffy fur. Along his sides the black fur begins to blend in with white fur, not turning grey but stark contrast lines between black and white. Below his neck, down his back, and down the legs is bright white fur. However on the front two legs, grey fur goes up his legs slightly, mixed in with silvery fur, giving the look of salt and pepper. Starting from the beginning of his claws on his front legs, three bright blue lines go up to where the middle of his ulna and radius are.
Reasons why he/she would make a good leader:
Although Eclipse is quite small for a male, his size actually helps him be faster in the tundra. In his past life, Eclipse was actually a runt, an omega, for his pack but being lower on the hierarchy and being in the back he learned to observe and have quicker reaction speed to things. This trait carried with him into his next life, he reacts quickly to situations and is very good with observations. He has good listening skills but knows when to put his foot down. Due to his past life and even though he cannot recall his memories, he is constantly filled with determination to do his best for those he cares about, causing him to push himself constantly for the greater good.
RP example:
Screaming, so much screaming filled the male’s ears, he felt trapped, scared. He didn’t know what to do. There was so much pain, constant pain everywhere. His own screams reached his ears, bright red light filled his eyes before an immediate blackness filled his vision. There was still pain but now there was silence.
Then there was nothing. Am I dead? Alone thought escaped the darkness before everything disappeared, his consciousness, memories, everything gone.
Bright light filled the darkness, sounds of an object speeding in the wind before an explosion filled the silence. Slowly, very slowly, he opened his eyes, which he immediately flinched from the light of the mid-day sun. He closed his eyes quickly, whimpering from the pain searing pain. Slowly though, he felt his body ache slightly and he let out another whimper, this time though coming out more as a groan. He was afraid to open his eyes, he did not recognize anything around him when he had looked around for that brief moment. Slowly though, he realized he could not recall where he was, or where he had been. I feel like a pup, but I cannot even remember when I was a pup, he thought sadly to himself, feeling more alone and scared. More small whimpers came from the small body of the male, as he stayed laying down in the field, the warm sun warming his figure up. He realized he had been cold, if this sun is hot why would I be cold? He thought to himself sadly, shaking from fear and cold.
Maybe I should sleep this off? Maybe I’m in a weird dream? He thought, as his mind drifted to darkness again.
“Go away,” he groaned out as a bright light begin to invade his darkness. Opening his eyes slowly, squinting out he let out a small growl at this bright, blue light that hovered in front of him. He closed his eyes again, trying to go back to sleep however the bright light got brighter until the light began to blind him with his eyes closed. He opened his eyes, glaring at the bright light, the light fading immediately. For some reason the presence of this light did not scare him nor made him uncomfortable, on the contrary, this light had the feeling of something familiar. Although this light did not get off anything aggressive, the pestering orb annoyed Eclipse a great deal. Raising up he lunged at the light, his mouth open to bite at the light. Snapping his teeth close where the light was, a clicking sound rang out in the distance. The light had dodged his attack and zoomed farther away, towards the mountains in the distance. He let out a growl and ran after the light, trying to chase it away. The light moved farther towards the mountains, always just outside of the males reach. Once Eclipse was satisfied the light had moved a sufficient amount away, growled one last time, turning to go back to sleeping nest he was in before.
He trotted away slowly, his head hung low before he was jerked to stop as the light popped in front of him, charging at him slightly. This strange action caused Eclipse to back pedal away from the light, before moving farther away where the light stopped and hovered. “What do you want?” he growled at the light, the light seemed to understand him because it moved then. Moved quickly around him then towards the mountains, then back towards him, then back towards the mountains. “You want me to follow you?” he asked, his eyes seeming redder in the night, squinting at the light. The light bobbed in the air as if the light was nodding at him, letting out a sigh Eclipse took a few steps. “If you try to kill me, I’ll kill you,” he growled his nonsensical threat. The light seemed to agree with this and began to move, quick enough to make Eclipse practically sprint after the light. Soon though the light realized this pace was hard on the smaller male and slowed down for him to go to a moderate trot.
After the night passed and the day began to pass already, Eclipse began to get impatient with this orb who would not answer his questions. “Are we there yet?” he whined out, knowing the orb would not answer him. However as they crested a tall hill on the side of the mountain the orb stopped and seemed to dance in a certain direction. Far ahead of the strange pair, you could barely see white ground. “Snow?” he asked softly, looking to the orb who again bobbed in the air as if to say, yes. “So you do have some answers,” he said softly, nodding the orb to say that he was ready to get going again.
After several nights of travelling the terrain began to change from rocky mountain terrain and forest to colder weather and flatter ground. Soon the pair began to trod on snow, some areas Eclipse sunk to his chest, and other areas he ran on top of the hard packed snow. Soon though the orb stopped where an open field of snow was, in the distance was a cluster of tress. As they approached the orb began to hang back, Eclipse’s curiosity took him further forward. Walking through the cluster of trees and passed the blue light he came to an area where an old tree was hollow inside, an open hole led inside. Stepping inside without looking back towards the orb, Eclipse felt strange standing inside the roomy crevice in the tree. The hole went deeper into the ground, expanding wider than the base of the tree. This place was big enough to hold several wolves comfortably and would shelter them from the cold. Stepping out of the hollow in the tree, he looked around for the orb but the orb was gone.
Eclipse flicked his ears uncertainly, stepping outside the cluster of trees to look around at the empty landscape. I'm alone again, he thought sadly, realizing how attached he became to the silent light. Looking out to the landscape, how the snow represents me. He let out a sigh, looking down at the white powder, how empty the white was. His mind was the same, white and empty, blank. However, Eclipse felt something rise into his chest, looking up at the landscape he saw several signs of life. Not everything was empty, several trees stood in the distance, faint smell of rabbit and deer hung in the air. This would be my home, he concluded, and to have a home you need a family, which meant more wolves. He gave an affirmative nod to himself about his decision, this place would be his and he would fill the landscape with life. Raising his cranium to the setting sun, he let out a high piercing howl, hoping his message would carry on the wind to any other wolves. I am Alpha here and I am looking for others. |

Luna
Character Description:
Luna has silky white fur that covers her whole body. It seems to almost like it is made of moonlight because it glows under the moon. Her eyes are a bright aqua blue with silver swirling in strange ways, leading down to her marking, around her right eye, she has silver marking that swirls around her eye. It is the only marking that shows on her pristine coat. She stands at 3' 1" and is 3' 5" long, an average sized wolf. Her legs are strong and lean, aiding her to run, hunt and fight.
Reasons why he/she would make a good leader:
Luna was mistreated in her former life. She'd started out as an omega in her former pack, but they treated her unfairly and kept her like a slave. One day, she was beaten to the point of her life, she could've fought back, but she would never harm another soul. She ran away and lived life as a rogue, she became patient, and kind. She listens to both sides before giving advice to conflicting parties. She is hesitant to fight unless she absolutely has to, and would much rather rationalize it than fight.
RP example:
The darkness surrounded her. It filled her, choked her until she was breathing it in. She couldn't move either, she discovered. She was in so much pain. It was like an ocean, wave after wave of relentless pain washes over her. She closed her eyes, whimpering. What's happening to me?? All of a sudden there was light, a bright searing light that scorched her fur and burned at her eyelids. She screamed so loud, her throat became raw. The light seemed to be burning at her soul. Then it was gone. It felt like she'd been dipped in a pool of ice. She whimpered in relief. She slowly opened her eyes, wincing as light sears her tired eyes.
She sits up, her muscles still painfully sore. She looks around, confused by the unfamiliar terrain. A bright blue light dances infront of her. It looked like it was made of smoke, but when Luna sniffed, she couldn't detect any scent. The light glowed faintly and darted a couple feet away and back to her. It seemed to want to take her somewhere. She stands and stretches, her legs seemed stiff, as if she hadn't used them in a while. But why would that be the case? I've only been asleep for a few hours... Right? She pads after the light, realizing how uncomfortably warm it was. She didn't like it at all.
After several days of traveling the terrain began to change from rocky mountain terrain and forest to colder weather and flatter ground. She found herself at home in her new terrain. Soon the she-wolf began to trod on snow, some areas Luna struggled to keep her head above the snow line, and other areas she could feel rocks through the snow. Soon though the light stopped where an open field of snow was, in the distance was a cluster of tress. As they approached ,the light began to hang back, Luna looked around and not far away, she could see a hole where she could scent another wolf. She was hesitant, not sure of what to do. She looked back to the light and for the first time, it looked like a little figure. The figure smiled at her and gestured towards the hole, encouraging her to go on. The she-wolf dipped her head in thanks to the figure before turning to the hole. Curiosity and longing lead Luna forward until she was at the entrance she looked back one last time to see the figure had disappeared. She set one paw forward to enter the den...
