| Marusya looked down as the form Stanley caught her attention, for a moment her lipped twitched a warning in his direction but was too late as he moved his body against her charge. “Mal, are you okay?” scoffing internally, Marusya eye rolled back to the two threats in front of her. Of course Mal was not okay, only a virgin and naive soul would ask something like that.
“What in the fuck got into your thick skull to make you think to pull off this stunt?” The roar of the white bitch had Marusya’s blood boiling once more, a snarl ripping from her maw as she was addressed so disgustingly.“Normally, my dear, your antics are tolerable, - But now that you’ve gotten me into this? I suggest you set this to a screaming halt.” Marusya could only roll her eyes at this wolf’s grievances. To think that these two were ever in the right is a punishable offense in Marusya’s eyes. A smirk coming across her face, this one would be punished by Adjetni. Oh yes, she will be.
“Oh, you see, pretty, The only head you’ll be getting,” At the approach of the white female, Marusya’s smile widened horrendously, as if daring the other to touch her. She did not care for how much taller or close this idiot was, Marusya knew the consequences the other would receive, she wondered how big a bluff this really was. Until the next words her uttered.
“Is your mate’s.” A loud snarl of a warning as she took a daring step towards the bitch, eyes holding a dangerous darkness. “I suggest you step the fuck off your pedestal there, darling, - Or I’ll knock you right off - POP right out!”
As the laughter of the other came to a rolling halt, Marusya own giggles left her maw. How absurd could this dame be? How much was missing to understand the importance of who they were. Canines flashing, Marusya shook her own pelt out, her hackles slowly lowering, “You must be quite deranged.”
“I mean, why else would you think, for even a moment, you would be more important than me, I mean just look at you,” she spat out, as if she was a lowly piece of trash, “you’re nothing.” A look of pure crazy flashed in Marusya’s eyes before her tone became serious.
“I wonder, if you were to touch me darling and something were to happen to the messiah,” she spoke quietly, stepping forward with a look of boredom, “would you be punished? I mean what do you have to offer the Raven King? The runts in your stomach? Your undying loyalty? We all know you aren’t loyal to his majesty, but the brute you call a mate, that’s all you are to him,” she purred eyes burning into the others.
“So who has more of a wavering appeal to him, you, who is nothing but his siblings mate with unapproved children growing, or me, who is the mate to his allied group and bears pups that will be strong and be commanded by him one day?”
Lazily, she flicked a dismissive tail at the bitch before she could speak and turned away to greet Koga. His own words bristling her heart as adrenaline still coursed her veins. Marusya will discuss these matters to him later, as they were most definitely a private matter.
Ignoring all else around her at the mention of his words, she moved towards the bush he indicated. Turning momentarily to Maleah, “Join me when you’re done here,” she spoke calmly.
At the body she ate her feel before hearing the approach of her charge. Standing up she began to lick herself clean before nodding to the kill, “Eat,” she instructed stepping away. This was both a test and a show of how hiearchy between the two.
If Maleah did not eat, she would let out a disgusted snarl, “Your punishment is to Walk with Adjetni until you eat from that wolf.” Her eyes rolling away to look from the brush at the group. The one Koga brought with him will be evaluated in time and be taught accordingly.
If Maleah ate the wolf, Marusya would nod approvingly, moving her maw to lick at the freshly made nicks on her charges’ ear. “Good, you’re improving, Adjetni will be very proud, darling,” she would speak softly, a gentle smile on her mouth.
“Now, about earlier,” came a stricter tone of voice as she stood there. This would be a private talk with Maleah, one that would show her own weakness that she would not show the others. “I’m hurt, you disbelieved us Maleah,” a sigh left her black lips as she sat her rump down.
“I understand its hard to not revert, but you must understand that to disbelieve me and Koga, you are disbelieving your family. Maleah, we’re family now, those that Koga brought with him are family now, Stanley and Psyche are family now, you must trust us, if you can’t do that we can’t help you grow.”
The approach of the newly ranked she-wolf had Marusya halting her speech. “Ah, yes,” she spoke happily, her poised look coming across her face as she hid her caring and motherly feelings deeply inside her. “My name is Marusya, this here is my charge and future sitter of my offspring, Maleah. The pure white she-wolf is Psyche, the male next to her is Stanley,” a small thought came across her mind, a devilish smile forming.
“Say, Vivaldi, are you interested in training an, omega?” she asked the other, Stanley would need to be trained, but bonds needed to be formed between the packs. If Vivaldi agreed, then Marusya would have Stanley be trained by her, not only strengthening the bonds between the two groups but also training her omega into a warrior suited for the two groups.

It seemed that the gift that was the maned wolf's company wasn't appreciated by all. The obvious leader, whose name Quentin picked out from the ramble of shite that fell from his new target's mouth to be Koga, seemed to have an increasing distaste for the male. Good. The more he disliked him, the easier it would be to tick him off in the future. “You may follow us if you’d like, but you’ve been warned. There may be no turning back. My protégés receive power, rank, prestige. What more does one desire? If that is enough for you, by all means, follow,” Koga's baited offer really didn't give Q any choice. Rolling his eyes, the maned wolf tagged along with the group as they moved. There was always a way out. Always.
Reaching the chaos that was this 'Mortiul' the oaken male spoke of, Quentin decided to hang off to the side. He could leave bothering the she-maned wolf that was a part of this group he found himself 'stuck' in later. There were more interesting things to see and eavesdrop on. For instance, two crazy pregnant bitches seemed to be battling it out, a fight had just ended, and a couple scraps were bawling. Not his brand of chaos, but he could adapt. Dark chocolate eyes followed the lead male around as he gave out his gifts and began nipping wolves' ears. Narrowing his gaze at the male, Quentin almost dared him to try and touch his ears. He wasn't about to let some manky mouth 'claim' him when they had just met. In time, the jerk huffed. He doubted that he would ever let the leader nick his ear.

Xechasménos caught the faint scent of a distant wolf. Her audits shoved forward, as she was alert. Her tiger-orange eyes scanned the surrounding area to non avail. "Who's there?" she yipped loudly. Her banner lightly swayed as she stood. She waited, for what seemed like hours, for any sign of life around her. She could pick up the distinct scents of other wolves, but they were either too far away or the scents had been fading. She sighed and released another howl from the depths of her throat. The lupine's big paws shifted as she waited patiently for anything to appear or any sound to echo.

I did not know it was such a violent island
Full of tidal waves, suicidal crazed lions; They're trying to eat me, blood running down their chin 829 words Maleah @marusya @vivaldi “ She was expecting to be lashed out at. To have claws maliciously slash at her face or teeth sink into her flesh without the intent of marking her for protection. The fact that neither of these happened, that M'Lady seemed to compose herself so easily after her bristling anger, frankly scared Maleah more. “Join me when you’re done here,” was all the instruction that the ashamed female got. She had thought that her only business still with the other wolves was with Marusya, so she barely hesitated when it came to following the pregnant she-wolf.
Rounding the bushes as her Alphess had done, Maleah sucked in a sharp breath. She should have known that pelts had accompanying bodies, especially with the group she found herself willingly trapped in. Her mouth went dry at the sight of Marusya digging into the corpse, knowing exactly what was going to happen next. It was both a punishment and an expectation by now. Both Koga and Marusya did it, spreading the practice down their ranks, meaning Maleah was next in chronological order."Eat," the blunt order still stuck anxiety through the cinnamon she-wolf's frame. But this was no time to hesitate like before. Maleah had already pushed beyond her limits and crossed the line too many times.
The tiny she-wolf moved to the nameless, faceless lump of what she now had to consider to be meat. Sucking in a final deep breath, Maleah opened the compartment in her mind that would allow her to carry out M'Lady's command. Turning almost robotic, Maleah latched her jaws into the shoulder muscle of the corpse, tearing it out before quickly chewing and swallowing. Thankfully, this time she didn't cry. The first time was just too personal. She had watched the wolf been brutally murdered, and hadn't yet been enlightened to Adjenti's purpose for the act. This was something she had to do to repay M'Lady for allowing her to stay and for betraying her earlier. Cleaning the blood off her maw as soon as she could, the feeling of a tongue in the sore nick in her ear sent another shot of pain down her system. “Good, you’re improving, Adjetni will be very proud, darling,” the reassurance from the pregnant she-wolf soothed some of her anxiety. She had done enough, for now."Now about earlier," the elephant in the wood came to light, causing Maleah's head to hang low. A deep set guilt and sense of shame embedded itself well within its pathetic host. Why did it seem that she could never do anything right? Couldn't keep her posture up. Couldn't get out of her own damn head for two seconds to trust the two wolves who had given her more than she would ever deserve. "I'm hurt, you disbelieved us Maleah," a nod left Maleah. She understood fully. She was such a disappointment to the Alpha pair and their, now also her, God. “I understand its hard to not revert, but you must understand that to disbelieve me and Koga, you are disbelieving your family. Maleah, we’re family now, those that Koga brought with him are family now, Stanley and Psyche are family now, you must trust us, if you can’t do that we can’t help you grow. Marusya reminded Maleah of a mother scolding her. For some reason, she still cared and had sympathy for the pathetic being before her, but rather than anger, the disappointment that leaked into her speech hurt more. Maleah would have almost prefered to be screamed at and left battered. The olive branch that Marusya continuously offered her was a tether to her guilt."Hello,” the introduction of an unfamiliar voice made Maleah squirm in embarrassment. What an amazing first impression. Maw bloodied from wolf meat, in the middle of a guilt trip while getting told off. Though she was protected by the mark on her ear, Maleah cast her eyes down in shame. Now she would be labelled as a monster. Some pushover who was willing to do anything just to save her own skin while being left behind by the wolves that saved her for a newly marked angel. “I’m Vivaldi, as you may have heard, but unfortunately I’m not familiar with you all. Between sinking his teeth into my face and acquainting himself with your gift, my fearless leader didn’t have much time for introductions.”
With the attention turned off her, the nutmeg she-wolf stole a few seconds to remove any remaining blood off herself. As Marusya introduced her, Maleah gave a small nod upwards, not quite managing to lift her gaze to meet this 'Vivaldi's.' She didn't have much to input into the conversation, not that she even had to confidence to try. Trying to collect herself and keep the posture that M'Lady had shown her, Maleah focused more on trying to relax with her new vow of protection bleeding slightly onto her fur keeping her safe in the hellhole that her pack had resided in.”

The pair’s reunion had been markedly brief; mere seconds, moments before duty beckoned once more. Nonetheless, he found himself wonderfully pleased with the results; two followers to raise their ranks, each one enticingly, blissfully unaware of what they had in store. The first, a brilliantly albino she-wolf, blithe and beautiful and balanced perfectly against the melanistic, bloodied male he claimed himself. The second male seemed timid, soft-hearted, less susceptible to their ideals, but with the right training, he was sure he’d be every bit as valuable as his fellow converts. Yes, Marusya had amassed him a fine, lovely following to start with. “What a perfectly lovely pair.” A soft coy smile curled his maw. “Welcome. I am Koga. To you, both an alpha and prophet. I‘ve been tasked with guiding you to your eternal realm. All you have to do is follow. I trust you all will not disappoint.”"May I speak with you?” Adramalach’s quiet, authoritative command beckoned him from his reverie, while Sakia instantly seized the opportunity to assert her authority in a world in which she bore none. He suppressed a snarl. Not and never again his property; now, he’d no duty in training the insolent brat. If Adra still wished for her to have a voice, then so be it, but in the same breath, if he’d decreed it be so, he’d face no qualms in tearing her tongue out her head. She’d absolutely no idea how lucky she’d been. Regardless, she accompanied them as they roamed out of earshot. “His title, to you, should be master,” Koga quipped, unable to resist. “Whatever he wishes his title to be, he’ll be. Now brother,” he breathed. “What are we to speak of?" "I must say,” Adramalach began, his tone thoughtful, contemplative. “Proclaiming a name sounds nice, however, I have not a clue what name should be given to my pack. As you are my brother in arms, I'm open to any ideas you have." A low pleased laugh jilted his jaws at the absolute simplicity of the request. What a pleasure! And he’d already something in store to boot! “I do hope you don’t mind,” he began. “But my family already has a name by which we call you by. We saw it in a vision not long after we met. Two brothers, in blood and arms, one made of flame and the other of shadow. Wherever one walked, the world ignited beneath his paws and burned anew – Ignasia, in the ancient tongue – a living flame. The other brought with him decay and destruction to all he touched, to the old, the ugly, and impure. We found it only fitting that you and your wolves shared such a name – Mortuil – death incarnate”. Tagged: Alpha Adramalech , @sakia

words: 489. tag: @marusya @xechasmenos @stanley Maleah . notes: hello Xecha! Just to make sure you’re aware, your character will likely be treated as an omega/slave of sorts until she has an opportunity to prove herself to Adramalech - which may be a while, since his roleplayer is taking a short hiatus. If you aren’t okay with this, feel free to have Xechasmenos flee! Otherwise welcome to the party c: |
This Marusya seems friendly enough, and the clarity in her eyes is a stark reminder that Suki and Beel are not the norm. Though the two questionably sane wolves were already gems within her mind, the focus in this lupess’ gaze is like a breath of air. Kindness breeds kindness, so after introductions she remarks, “What a lovely group of individuals.” It isn’t just platitudes, either; with Psyche’s beauty and the uniqueness of the deer-wolves, paired with the genuine air around Maleah and Stanley, the lot of them make quite the pretty picture. However, they seem almost out of place among the blood-soaked wolves of Adramalech’s group. Gaze lingering on the squirming, downcast Maleah and the male at her side, Vivaldi looses a quiet sigh. They were gentle, compared to this place, despite any atrocities they might have committed to gain favor. How refreshing. How concerning. She wonders if any genuinely kind creature can retain their sanity in a pack such as this. Hellish gaze drawn back to Marusya as a proposition is made - train an omega? - she cocks her head to the side as she considers.
“Of course, Marusya - training is, after all, my job.” Her chuckle is little more than a quivering breath. The alabaster bitch wonders which would be placed into her care. The future guardian? Perhaps this mother-to-be wished the caretaker of her pups to be capable of protecting them as well? Or perhaps the concerned lupine at her side? “Which of yours would you like to give to me? I can’t promise they’ll be in tip-top shape upon return, but I do promise their strength.” She jokes lightly.
Who’s there? Tapered ears prick and swivel as an unfamiliar voice reaches her, followed by a howl - unpleasantly close to her new companions. Orange gaze narrowing, a black lip curls to reveal a sliver of fang as her head turns to pinpoint the direction. “If you’ll excuse me, for a moment? It seems I have a warm welcome to deliver, though I will return shortly.” With a parting smile for the female cultist, she bounds into the forest, optics focusing on a dark furred female.
“You seem quite keen on gaining my pack’s attention,” She practically purrs, smile hardly more than a baring of teeth. “Since you’re so eager to socialize, why not come down and say hello?” With that, she would lunge forward to latch onto the other lupess’ scruff, giving a sharp yank towards the clearing housing the rest of the group. Though the black female had more bulk, Vivaldi had the height advantage, and she intended on using it. If the other would dodge her attack or flee, she would snap her jaws in a warning manner, eyes cold even as her hackles raise. “Get lost or get down there and try to make yourself look useful.” The white wolfess would hiss, tail tip flicking. “The useless aren’t welcome.”

Ronin stepped into the land tentatively. He stopped and looked around, scanning the faces of wolves he did not know. The area was alive with new smells, almost overwhelming the young adult. He had never been in a place that contained so many wolves before. Even his family pack was tiny compared to the smells here. He barely remembered his family pack, but he remembered it was a small group, definitely not a pack if one was considering the sheer numbers of wolves in these packs. Part of him was terrified being around so many of his own after so long without friendly contact, but another part of him was dying to finally find his place in a pack. So, he finally pushed himself to search, and that was how he found himself here. He had gained permission to enter the lands as long as he didn't invade on any pack's territories without permission, which was fine with him considering his shyness. He figured he would live among the rogues, do his thing, maybe make some friends, and hopefully be asked to join the ranks of a pack. The dark wolf made his way deeper into the territory, his tail low and ears perked for any sign of danger. He decided to pick a spot secluded from the others but still close by and sat, using the time to himself to once again scan the new faces and take in another breath, his nose filling with the many scents of wolves around him. It was nerve-wracking, but also strangely calming for him. Ronin took a chance and lay down, relaxing in the shade as he thought about what to do next. Should he introduce himself? Pick a wolf and try to make friends? How would he even start that conversation? He hasn't spoken to anyone of his kind, aside from them telling him to leave, since he was a pup. Should he submit first off to show he has no ill intentions? He would just have to wait and see.

Vaas. If I'm still alive then Hell must be full.
| Vaas was feeling quite homey in her own unconventional way. The world's cynicism, the universe's, ate away at the walls and hit the floor, a foundation of her circumscribed self-worth, until one day it cracked. A house with no posts to begin with had fallen completely. Recovery was her biggest challenge, impossible because she had absolutely nothing to love. She couldn't rebuild her house, not even a brick at a time; she still finds that there are new bricks missing every day, or perhaps the floor seems more submerged in dust than usual. She hadn't felt a sense of accomplishment in years--perhaps ever--and frankly she had no desire to.
She had no sense of adrenaline either. None enough to activate her sympathetic nervous system, making her heart beat faster, diverting blood to her muscles and away from her gut, though it still never rested there. Flight or fight? She never had any incentive to choose one over the other, but she would often lay weight on the choice that would get her killed sooner. She mused it. Some wolves were addicted to adrenaline, their drug of choice; they were the best candidates to lead Vaas's death because they tended to end things quickly with or without any intention of it.
Like a pinch, she was rattled away from fantasizing about her death at the shuddering sound of young, untrained vocal chords. Her neck arched, pops like battery spreeing through her cranium until it had become elastic from its rigid state, an affliction of the old. Dark, gelid optics burned into the figure of a relatively large brunette with a masculine, grimy appearance. Ears pulled back when the halfwit called out again. Old, cursed, and zero-fuck-giving Vaas snarled from where she stood, approaching without intention of being seen by the group of wolves in the clearing below.
"Are you trying to get yourself killed? For christ's sake." Raspy velvet vocals poured as if they'd been silenced for eternity, finally making an escape into the bitter cold, only to be shriveled by its rejecting chill. If Vaas was good at anything, it was survival--unfortunately. Among the many skills she'd developed protecting Oett was keeping a low profile and avoiding attention. Not too far north was an established formation of individuals, a pack quite possibly. The northwest was the ghetto of the region, where danger polluted; Ferus, and now the gang up north. This was not the place for a young rogue to make herself a target. By shouting to the skies, she was asking for it.
Only meters away rested a male whose visage didn't differ much from the girl's, albeit with much less pigmentation. She was coming to realize that these woods were the wrong place for a clinical and incurious bitch like herself among all of these dense rogues whose productivity and cognitive function were about as stellar as the dead trees' surrounding them.
"At least this kid knows what's good for him," she said with a tone that lacked every possible facet of euphoria. That dreaded trace of compassion for weak loners began to brew under her thick talk. She couldn't help but feel bad for anybody who wasn't dead.
Addressing (in order): @xechasmenos @ronin
OOC: I apologize, no muse behind this one, and it's showing, but I really would like to insert Vaas somewhere and give new characters a chance to interact [: |

Alpha Adramalech of Mortiul | The black male didn't exactly like what he heard come from the mouth of his subordinate female. He would show some restraint in punishing her, not wanting to scar that pretty little face of hers after all. "You better watch your words sweetheart, or I will be clamping your muzzle shut for you," He spoke to her harshly, looking towards her with soulless black eyes. The male would always display his dominance over any wolf that thought they were high enough to talk to him in such a way, when they weren't. Looking towards Koga, he listened to the male quip back at Sakia with the attitude he knew the male had. They were equals most definitely, and he would hope nothing would spark between the two groups that they would part ways. Koga was a reliable asset to his plan to conquer the lands before them, and if they were to become enemies - well that would not be an ideal situation. Sitting and listening, the name caught his attention rather quickly. "Mortiul?" He pondered the name for a bit. It seemed fitting, something about it sounded right. "I like the ring of it," He said, a sadistic smile coming across his face.
"Thank you, from now on, we will be called the Mortiul Pack," He said, looking towards Sakia, who would more than likely make a harsh comment or something of the sort. And if she didn't, he would be surprised. Bringing his attention to his members, his eyes caught on Vivaldi once more. The female was strong, and able to produce a litter to say the least. Sprouting an idea, he looked towards Sakia and then to Koga. "Watch this one, I have some propositions to make," He smirked, looking towards the younger female as he gave her a flick of his tail across her muzzle before heading in the lightly colored bitch's direction. Pushing himself rather close to her, he brought his muzzle to her ear. "Mind if I steal you away for a bit, General?" He asked her, the twitch of his tail telling her that it was more an order than a suggestion. Once she followed, he would Look to her with an interested glint to his eyes.
"I wanted to propose," He looked towards her, circling around her, and standing proudly in front of her. "Not to enter into courtship and mateship, because those are not needed as of right now. But instead a mutual arrangement. You will become Alphess of this pack no doubt, with your strength and capabilities already. And I need to start my army, so therefore, I propose that we have a litter together to spark the entrance into a new era," He spoke to her with a faint lull to his voice. "Let me know what your answer is," He whispered into her ear before walking away.
- Time skip: 3 months -
Waking up, the male looked to his side, where Sakia would more than likely be. He kept the female close, hoping that she wouldn't try anything stupid. Lifting his head, black pupils fixated on the area around them. He would need to send some of his best hunters to scout out some prey before they departed for their new home. He had scouted out the area, and it seemed that there were some mountains that overlooked part of the area that would work well for his pack. They would be secluded, where no one could find them, and they could begin to grow heavily and sporadically until they were ready to start attacking the land. Lifting his head, he peered over the clearing, waiting for the others to wake.

OOC:((Will put a trigger warning, as her dream is a bit gory. Please feel free to skip to her waking up if it isn't your fancy ^^ ))
---timeskip 3 months---
The woods… tall oaken trees withered in the cold, she and they surrounded in white masses of snow. Her vision kept wavering, kept dimming at its edges. She was stumbling along, like a newborn, still learning how to use its legs, still vulnerable, still innocent, still pure. Bellatrix stopped and glanced behind her. Pinching her brows together in confusion. The snow exposed blood, trailing behind, a blotched, thick line following the same wobbly path she had taken. It drew her gaze downwards. Beneath her, gravity had acted, leaving the snow below concealed by a large red stain still being dripped on. Her neck craned to the right, her head lowering to look at her belly. The tissue beneath was ripped open, spilling fourth blood, dribbling guts down slowly. But what Bella only cared to notice was that her belly looked rather swollen, like she had been carrying something, no longer possessing such an object. Images flashed, blurry sights of plush little pink things sprawled lifelessly across the snow. Unrecognizable the little babes were nothing but a haze to her, five of them, all laid neatly in a row. The image was like a blinding light, it kept flashing its self, going from dark to that, going dark again and then to that. Before... She awoke. Bellatrix blinked her eyes open. She was curled in the shadows of her den, eyes glossy, and familiar to the liquid that glazed them with such sheen. Her chest rose and fell rapidly, as she still lay frozen, a statue of a sculptor’s finest works of art. Queens did not cry.
Just the thought of it was repulsive, in which she shook her head to rid of the trails that befell past her cheeks. Her thoughts began to dwell on the fact that months had gone past since her settlement within the group, a slow gradual acceptance that sticking around was a better tactic as much as she disliked it. She would prefer to be leading her own ensemble of warriors, causing her own chaos and malice through the lands, rather than being a part of one. Also, her view on the cultist group became more of curiosity than anything these past few days, she didn't understand their teachings, what they believed in and yet, she was intrigued. Course, she apparently -in his dreams!- belonged to Adra, though it wouldn't stop her from getting to know more about this allied other pack if she could. But enough about pack politics. She urged herself to move, slowly rising to a stand and walking to the mouth of her den. Stood at its edge, her neck and skull stretched passed its safety, nostrils breathing in the morning air she became subject to the cold, feeling the soft gusts of frost press against her. A pleasurable hum exhaled past her lips into the wind.

Ronin's trained ears perked, swiveling this way and that as they picked up bits and pieces of conversations. Turning his attention northwest, he noticed a thicker grouping of wolves that direction. A pack. Unmistakable. And it seemed another one was directed northern. Both of these packs had a certain scent to them-- or maybe it was the air they seemed to carry about them-- that told Ronin he should keep his distance. He had been named a wolf without a pack, but that did not mean he wanted to stay in such a position forever. The packs made of rogues likely wouldn't have much order, either. Power dominates, and whoever is the strongest is the one who leads in situations like that. He imagined at least one of those packs had fighting issues, and with his nervousness about being in a pack again in the first place, he wouldn't want to end up stuck in a place he didn't desire to be in. His parents weren't around, so he had to look after himself. Maybe he was a bit too cautious, but in doing so he had survived this long on his own.
His ears suddenly swiveled again, hearing young vocal chords howling somewhere in the woods behind him. He soon after heard a much older, more experienced voice scold the young wolf for making herself an easy target for the rogue packs. He turned his head in the direction of the voices, and not too far away he could just make out enough of the two to know where they were. The older she-wolf then turned her attention to him, and he instinctively looked away, not wanting to challenge her by staring her in the eyes. She could be just as nasty as the others, he didn't know her. She gave him a subtle nod in the fact that he found himself a quiet place to observe instead of howling his head off. He looked back in their direction, and the dark colored wolf still had her gaze on him. He bowed his head respectfully, then looked around the area again. No one was sneaking up on him. He got to his paws, shook out the drowsiness, and decided to try to make contact with someone for the first time in months.
He approached the females with his tail low, wagging just a little to let the older wolf know he meant no aggression. He stopped about four feet away from them, took another warning look around. His bright orange gaze finally settled on the older she-wolf, though his ears were perked still, listening for any sign of an ambush. He really didn't trust anyone, not that anyone had given him the chance to.
"Greetings," he began, his own vocal chords rough from not speaking in such a long time. He cleared his throat and tried again. "My name is Ronin. Im just looking for someone to give me some pointers about this place." He squirmed. He wasn't used to talking or even telling anyone about himself; he didn't think he liked it. He tried once more. "You see, I come from far away, I-I've never been in a pack besides my family, and they died a long time ago."

NOTE: TRIGGER WARNING IN THE ITALICS “ Unsurprisingly, the newly announced general didn't hesitate to accept M'Lady's offer, “Of course, Marusya - training is, after all, my job. Which of yours would you like to give to me? I can’t promise they’ll be in tip-top shape upon return, but I do promise their strength.” Maleah bit her tongue as she barely stood next to Marusya's flank. She didn't want the wolf M'Lady had in mind to be her. To be handed over to Vivaldi, even if it was going to make her stronger, was still going to place her right back with the demons. However, before the two powerful females could establish who was being trained, Vivaldi excused herself, Adramelech following shortly after her. Letting out a breath she didn't realise she was holding, the nutmeg she-wolf dutifully followed Marusya to get to know the new faces that were now a part of their group.~~Time Skip: 3 Months~~ The rage of winter had quickly taken hold of the woods. The ground, once flaky and unforgiving, now lay constantly cold under a blanket of snow and ice. Spines of ice grew from the branches of the bushes around the grounds that the two combined groups had set up home in. Many months before, Maleah would have ventured outside in a hunched over crawl to stare in awe at the crystal surrounding her. She could have lost herself in the winter wonderland that enveloped the area. Not only had the weather changed in the past quarter of a year. Vivaldi, the large white wolf, had started training both her and Stanley to become stronger and more confident. The gingerbread male had become Maleah's close friend; she found herself smiling more in his company and feeling comfortable around his similar energy to her's. Though Beelzebub still scared Maleah to death, Vivaldi had taught her how to silently fight him off, and how to hold her posture more naturally. The urge to submit reared it's ugly head everytime her neon gaze moved over either of the demon brothers or even Koga and Marusya still. However, the tiny she-wolf still curled herself over, but this time only to protect. Four ever so precious lives lay tucked in the curl of her stomach and tail. Anubis and Imset, the two first born, were very attached to one another, rarely being seen away from the other's side. The two eldest girls slept curled overtop of one another next to their one remaining brother. The lone boy, Varuna, was the Prophet's favourite child by far, and with good reason. It seemed like Adjenti himself had touched the pup, providing the fire that they worshipped into the living world. However, Varuna's eyes were shifting from their blue-ish grey into startling colours, one black and one white. Had Adjetni perhaps gifted the pup with a flame pelt but only half vision? Only time would tell if the male would see clearly. Lastly, tucked closest to Maleah's chest was Tiny. She couldn't help but be biased towards the weakest of the litter, after all, it had been her to keep her alive and give her her name. If Marusya and Koga were going to dismiss the precious life as unworthy, then Maleah was going to treasure it. Their birthday was still vivid in her mind. A ripped cry of her name brought the still timid she-wolf rushing towards her pregnant Alphess. However, it seemed that she wasn't going to be pregnant for much longer. Xalie, the maned wolf who Maleah decided to befriend after trying to ignore Beelzebub's premonitions, stood over the heaving she-wolf, her innocence beginning to be detrimental. The Prophet stayed by his mate's head, muttering something, hopefully, prayers or words of encouragement, towards his mate. Maleah got an adrenaline rush just from being around the chaos that was birth.
Everything seemed to move so quickly. One, two, three pups emerged mewling before Xalie swooped them up and presented them to Marusya and Koga. However, the fourth, a male, emerged still. Maleah's heart clenched. It didn't look like he made it through, but maybe he was just tired and in need of some warming up to start crying like the others? On Marusya's orders, his limp frame was handed over to her. Instantly she started to lick the pup, trying to stimulate some sort of life from the child. A breath, a cry, something other than the silence in his torso. Desperately, she rubbed her head along his frame, hoping that she could shock his system into the living world. However, nothing was working and there was yet another problem.
After the first male, a second pup, the smallest she had ever seen, was quite literally tossed towards her. With a gasp, Maleah rushed to this final pup's side and repeated the process she had with the male. After a few minutes of licking and trying to make the youngest pup warm, all while the second male lay tucked against her belly fur in a futile attempt to keep him warm, small breaths started to leave the female. Maleah's eyes pricked up with tears. At least this pup had managed to pull through. Picking up both in her maw, Maleah brought the pair up to Marusya, internally already fearing a punishment for the loss of a pup. She moved the girl towards Marusya's stomach so that she could feed and bond with her mother before the male pup was addressed. The Alpha pair quickly named their children, but the last one that Maleah had fought so valiantly to save was left anonymous. When the nutmeg she-wolf timidly asked, she was shocked to hear the lack of care in the new mother's voice for her youngest daughter. Leaving her to the task, the beautiful ugly duckling of a pup was given the monicker 'Tiny.'Now all four pups lay snuggled up next to her, fighting the cold that filtered in through the opening of their den. Marusya slept nearby, just in the next den over, so that if anything were to go wrong, Maleah could get her easily. Unlike the dens of moth mothers, this one had no scent of milk apart from the ghosts on the pups' breath when they were younger. Instead, it seemed that Maleah was just a heat pad for the litter until they were old enough to move into their own dens. A heat pad alongside being their teacher. Marusya had made it very clear to her that Adjenti was to be a major part of the pup's lives, as to be expected for the children of a Prophet. As Maleah had watched them grow so far, she had also woven their shared God into young minds as Marusya had instructed. From within the safety and collaborative warmth of the den, Maleah took the time to adoringly look at the innocence of each pup as they slept. Anubis and Imset were already starting to show signs of following in their father's paw prints, becoming detached from most things apart from each other and Adjetni. Varuna was being a typical middle child, fitting into his role as the living icon for the religion with a budding essence of vanity. And Tiny, still the smallest of the brood, was slowly beginning to come out of her shell, not running to her as often for help. Courage and determination to make up for small size, Maleah admired the pup's strength. The sounds of crunching snow under a few paws turned Maleah's ash framed face towards the mouth of the den. The two groups had fallen into a rhythm. The first ones awake were usually Adramelech or Koga, and the rest of the group woke up shortly after that. Gently, Maleah began to shift underneath the pups, gingerly shaking the twins, Varuna, and Tiny awake. With the sun rising higher, Maleah's voice spoke softly, "Good morning little ones, the day's about to begin! It's time to wake up." Each day was new, full of new experiences and opportunities to learn. As much as it must feel horrible to get woken up, for Maleah it was the waking up of opportunity, and that couldn't be missed.”

| Welcomer Marusya of The Cultists |
Marusya was glad that this new general would do as she asked. Nodding her head she looked towards Maleah who has yet to speak. Maleah would need to know that her position was on par with Salutary and General. She served an important and respected position, and she should act like so. Guess Stanley was not the only wolf who would get trained by Vivaldi. Marusya smiled, not kindly, but smiled none-the-less. “I would like our two weakest trained under you," taking a pause. "Although, in different things,” Marusya answered white eyes roaming over her pack members. Of course, details later as Vivaldi pulled away. Marusya’s own curiosity spike she followed the other on a whim. Eyes roaming the area she spotted what Vivaldi had heard, an intruder of sorts. Padding up behind her female counterpart she eyes this new wolf up and down. “The useless aren’t welcome,” Vivaldi had stated, a wicked smile tore over Maru’s face, “Or they’re eaten,” she added for fun. Of course her new acquaintance was soon taken away by the Raven King. “We will speak again,” she said, eyes shining with a strange new light. Turning her attention back towards Maleah, she approached her once more. “We have work to do if we are planning on staying here longer than a week,” she grumbled. White eyes roamed over the two groups, mouth pulled tight to the side to show her displeasure. She would give birth anytime in the next few weeks, if they did not move now they would be stuck here for three months. At least until the pups were old enough to move. And three months they stayed.
Marusya gave birth only a few weeks after Koga returned. Due to her pregnancy the leaders worried about her health and the pups. Yetru was only thankful for their consideration. This caused some negative looks from the opposite pack, Suki and Beel. Those two still caused problems for Maru but nothing direct, not anymore.
Although, Marusya couldn’t stand of the thought of those claiming she was weak and too fragile. The words of being unworthy to Koga cut her deep. She tried to stay strong but she kept failing and slipping. Nothing in the public eye but within her den she felt like she was fighting a losing battle. With herself and those around her. For a brief time Marusya worried about her place alongside Koga and within the group. She offered nothing but a carrier for his litter. She was not strong, she knew nothing about hunting or fighting, she was empty and hollow.
The birth was painful in so many ways Marusya was not prepared for. She was aware of her missing memories. As the pregnancy went on and how some of these pieces were beginning to resurface. She was grateful for Walk with Adjetni, it kept her from remembering the horrible past.
Yet, no matter how long she tried to refuse her memories, they all rushed back as her labor started. At first she was still as her water broke and then the pain hit hard. Not within her abdomen, but within her mind. Her memories flooded, of the countless pups she that . Her baby boys laid slaughtered in front of her while the girls took .
Screams erupted from her mouth as she fought with the destruction that was her mind. Koga seemed startled to see this side of her, a side that was quiet, docile for the most part. No she screamed profanities and things he would never believe she would have said.
Xalie was the first on the scene besides Koga. Immediately the deer-wolf attempted to soothe Marusya’s cries. Xalie thought that her cries were from labor but she was wrong. The pain from her head drove her to act violent.
Marusya was snarling, snapping and bite at both Koga and Xalie. Screaming that she wouldn’t let them take her pups away from her. Not again. She had torn flesh from Koga as he had forced himself on her in an attempt to sooth her rage and comfort her.
It wasn’t until the first pup was born that Marusya seemed to calm down and let Xalie near. Xalie warmed the first pup and placed her in front of Marusya. The first pup she could remember touching. The only time she was allowed to touch and hold her babies.
Crying out in pain and misery of her lost children, she held onto her first baby girl, Anubis. Then a second girl, Imset. At this point Marusya laid broken and sobbing against Koga. Whispering apologies and forgiveness. Her heart was crushed from the flood of memories, of all her lost babies.
Xalie was finally able to coax Marusya to let the pups drink her milk. The nuzzling of the pups against her stomach broke Marusya into another round of sobs. She had never felt the sucklings of a child before. She had never felt the warmth they gave off or the cries that showed they were alive. Happiness is what took a hold of her heart.
Then came a third child, a boy with a bright pelt that could only come from a blessing Adjetni gave them. Crying in joy Marusya scooped this one up herself to clean and placed him into her stomach. She named this one Varuna. Marusya was beginning to feel the true joy of being a bother, until disaster hit.
The fourth babe came, another boy. By now Maleah had joined them, Marusya looked to Maleah and instructed her to clean the last two. To Marusya this would be a reward for the soon to be nanny. Something Mal could do to start bonding with the pups.
Laying her head against her mate, Marusya took the time to rest a little before her last pup was born. Again Maleah took this one away to clean before she could see it. Xalie had stated this one would be a girl.
To be honest, Marusya did not expect to have this many girls and had only thought of two names, same with the boys. The second boy she would name Credence. Finally Maleah brought her the two, she placed the girl into her stomach but the boy was placed in front of her.
Confused, Marusya looked to Maleah then back to her boy. He was still and quiet. Looking to Xalie, she asked for help. Xalie’s face and reluctance to move forward told Marusya all she needed to know.
Another round of screams filled the den as she clung to her precious child. Screaming for his loss to Adjetni. Why was she blessed with one son but then punished with the death of another. Koga attempted to take her precious Credence away but she fought back. This time, Koga struck her and removed the child.
As Marusya lay sobbing Xalie comforted her while Maleah cared for the newborns. Xalie gave Maru some medicine to make her sleepy but before she fell asleep, her heart finally broke into pieces. When Marusya awoke she no longer would be the same she-wolf. Vengeance struck her heart. She didn’t know who she would be vengeful towards, but she promised to live for the son who would not get a chance.Present day Marusya is no longer how she was two, even three months ago. When she walks she walks with a purpose and a gaze of steel. This is thanks to not only her memories resurfacing and the loss of her son, but the fact she sought out Vivaldi. Two months ago she started training with Vivaldi in private. Everyday they worked on something new; defense, stance, fighting, stalking, hunting, tracking. If it dealt with being a wolf, you name it and Vivaldi showed Marusya how to do it. Not only do it, but succeed at doing so. Their training stopped a couple weeks ago. This was due to Vivaldi's approaching birth. Marusya still frequents were friend, if she dared to say best friend. With her pups the pregnancy was hard and rough, and Marusya wanted to be with Vivaldi till the end of it. Not only for her friends sake but to gaze out potential suitors. Marusya no longer thought of basic things, she thought for her pack and for the future. If one of her own pups mated with one of theirs the marriage would not only solidify the alliance. But this would seat Adjetni at the top of a powerful pack, not an underdog. Flicking her she entered the pack common grounds. Her daily routine is to take a scent and scout patrol of their outer borders and report anything new. After her scout she checks on Maleah and the pups. Today would be different though. Today was the day that her pups would be introduced to Adramalech and Vivaldi. This is step one of tying the alliance further. They will be picking one pup to train within Mortiul starting today. Due to the stress of the day Marusya stayed up the entire night. This was normal for the most part, but this time she paced and had to keep moving. End the end she managed to still herself next to Koga and clear her mind. Rising from her curled position, she nudged her mate with her nose. "Rise and shine," she grunted as she pulled herself from their den. The den comprised only of herself and Koga. The pups had never slept there so their scent was devoid of her quarters. Her next stop would be at Xalie's. Peaking her head in, "Make sure to have the herbs ready within the next few moments." After her orders she turned and made herself towards Maleah's den. This area was still split away from the main Mortiul base. Still she spotted the favored Alpha awaiting is minions to rise. Finally reaching the den, she did not bother to peak her inside, already knowing Mal would be up. "Alright, let me see these precious devils, Xalie will be here soon," she quipped sitting in the snow.

(Due to the fact @vaas hasn't replied in a week, I am moving on.)--Timeskip (?)-- It had been a few months since Ronin found himself among those with no pack, fringed by two packs originally formed by groups of rogues. He had spent his time by himself, hunting his own kills, sleeping with one eye open just like he was used to doing for his whole life. He still hadn't been approached by any packs looking for a new member, nor has he reached out to any packs. He was desperate for social contact, now more so than ever with all of the wolves around, but something still held him back, perhaps a fear of being close to anyone that may die suddenly again. But then again, it didn't seem like anyone had any interest in him anyway. He had formed himself a den nearby the rogue packs, perhaps too close to not be noticed, but maybe that was his plan. These packs had their own thought process, their own belief system, and he couldn't say he wasn't interested in seeing what they were about. After all, he couldn't exactly just wander into another pack's territory. He had also learned more about the packs that scattered the area. He was interested in the Noctis pack, due to their proximity to the north, which was good for him, being an Arctic mix. The rogue packs here, Mortuil and the Cultists, were also in a good spot for him to be an effective hunter or for stealth missions. But he would need to feel like he really belonged for him to accept an offer, even if he was desperate to connect once more with his brethren. He was aware that if he did get approached by a pack, he would need to prove himself worthy. But every pack's definition of "worthy" was different, and so was their initiation. In this time period, one of the packs-- or both, he wasn't sure-- had been blessed with new pups. That was how close he stayed to the border between both packs. It was honestly just a test of time and chance to see who would approach him first and which pack would make the move. Ronin was good at stealth, especially now that the cold was sweeping in and he blended in well with the tundra, but even so he made no attempt to mask his scent or his tracks, so someone was bound to take note of him and do something eventually. @vivaldi Alpha Adramalech Maleah @marusya @koga @bellatrix

The burst of wind brought its own set of smells that caught her attention. Eyelids folded back to look out into the abundance of snow, whilst her nostrils took another whiff. Intrigued by what scent crossed paths with her, she left her den to follow it.
Trix needed a distraction. She knew well that the pups arrival meant they were soon to leave the safety of their den. How she would react to seeing the little bodies of flesh, she honestly didn't know… that last time she'd been near pups was a long time ago. And that is a time, Trix rarely spoke about.
A dissatisfied sigh faught passed her lips as she trekked through whiteness, a judging glare pronouncing itself as she grew closer to the object of curiosity. Though the wolf was a little hard to pick out from the snow, she concluded it to be male, young… stupid… foolish.
“Morning love.” Her lips swayed into a glorious smile, edging closer with a relaxed posture, tail overly wagging.
“Come to reap in the glories of a growing pack? And to whom to do I owe the pleasure of speaking to today?”
