Shortly after Koga’s arrival, Suki had born her first litter: five wriggling future prospects for Mortiul’s army. Unfortunately, the prospects of parenthood were troublesome, inherently tedious from the moment they arose. Reluctantly, they regretfully admitted the cultists were clever in obtaining a nanny, at least for the first two months. That’d been the biggest torture. Two vast, torturous months of incessant coddling and lounging about uselessly, awaiting for their five arrivals to shift into something useful. Even now, each snoozing pup seemed helplessly small, only just old enough to be, at the very least, an odd source of amusement. Luckily, all five arrived in perfect health, packed with possibilities the pair lay currently unaware of. Three in particular had potential worth noting: his sons, Sauron and Tern, and daughter, Persephone. Tern and Persephone in particular — the two made a magnificent pair. While Tern wore Adramalach’s pitch, Persephone bore the roughest, vaguest resemblance to his late sister Lilith, carrying light copper hints in her face and muzzle. Ironically, the two worked every bit as well as their predecessors, unique amongst their littermates in the fact they bore the same unbreakable sibling bond he’d shared with his own. Silver-tongued and sharp-witted, the two mastered manipulation. Now they would be worth the wait. “Bub?” He shuddered in horror, all too aware of what exactly the next sentence entailed. “Watch the rats, pleasee~? It’s not a question, by the way.” A low groan instinctively grated within his throat as Suki withdrew her warmth, leaving him to handle their mutual burden on his own. He’d personally far better things to do than watch the whelps; the only question that remained was how to handle pawning off the responsibility to another willing, capable wolf. Or pair of. “Perci~” he called, prodding the pup with a curved onyx claw. “ You and Tern are in charge for today. Your mission,” he drew out as he searched for a time-consuming, age-suitable task to keep the entire litter occupied. “Meet our neighbors! If they like the lot of you, they may even ask you for dinner,” he teased, chuckling to himself. “Don’t worry they’re easy to spot. I’m sure you’ve seen their painted faces,” He recalled, testing for a faint reaction. “No? You’ve must’ve seen their multiple pelts then?” A few leaned forward, intrigued as they approached the exit. “They possess ancient powers. Go see for yourselves. They pray in foreign tongues and see visions of the future— they may even tell you yours if you bring a fair trade. Even the members themselves are unlike anything of ours. Two aren’t even wolves at all, but a third deer and a third rabbit, the rarest of hybrids. And the others are— well,” Beel paused, knowing the pups could hardly contain their curiosity. “You’ll just have to witness them in person.”A hysterical, screeching howl of laughter shattered the silence. He could hardly contain his own shrill cackle to boot, trembling with unvoiced laughter as he attempted to instruct the litter, oh the idiots, on how to reach cultist territory. Hopefully, the half-eaten wolf corpses would elicit a terrified shriek from the more fragile-minded pups of the litter, or alternatively, awaken the acquired taste within another. Meanwhile, he could focus on far more appealing tasks, such as testing the fresh, untainted fool Bella had brought to the commons. Fear radiated from his being, intoxicatingly fresh as he angled his dappled head towards earth, pinning large puce ears against an ashen skull. Candidly, he crept up behind him; low, grating laughter seeping through sealed jaws as he circled the smaller male. Suddenly, he buried his muzzle into his neck’s side, ruffling the rowan fur as he inhaled his scent. Saliva pooled, slipping between the blackened cracks of his teeth as he suppressed a terrific urge to snap that slender neck in two. “Wonderful Bella,” he began, encircling the arrival just a tad close for comfort, his tail brushing the brindled fur. “I’ve been craving a new chew toy.” He suddenly halted, shoving his muzzle into a flattened ear. “Listen closely,” he whispered. “You may not realize it yet, but your life is about to change. You have two options for how it can end. You can submit yourself to our command. Realize that from this moment forth, you are no longer in control of you. Or you can attempt to defy it. And I’m more than willing to show you what happens when you pick the latter.” Tagged: Alpha Adramalech, @bellatrix, @ronin, @suki, @tern

A curled pale form snuggled into the wall of a den, and into her one good sibling, Tern. Although she was only 2 months old, Persephone's personality was already shining through. She didn't like any of her other siblings touching her, she would barely allow her mother or father to touch her, but she did allow Tern to be near her. The jealous male worked well with the vain female, whether or not he got on well with the other ones she didn't care about, as long as he didn't bring that near her. The sounds of scuffling paws and the gratingly sweet voice of her mother alerted the single blonde pup that it was probably time to wake up. Lifting her head and opening chocolate eyes, Persephone slowly began to wake up.
"Perci~" her nickname fell from her father's lips before a disgusting claw prodded into her fur. In an instant, Persephone was awake. With a hiss of displeasure, Persephone scrambled away from the peppered male. How dare that flea-ridden, death smelling, dirtball mess up her perfect coat!? In a huff, the pristine girl smoothed down her coat with her tongue quickly before tuning into her father's words again, “You and Tern are in charge for today." In an instant, her father was back in the pup's good books. Well who else would be in charge? Some incompetent idiot that was sadly classed as her sibling? Perci thought not! She and her brother were the best wolves to run the litter while their father decided to do whatever he did during the day. "Your mission... meet our neighbours! If they like the lot of you, they may even ask you for dinner. Don’t worry they’re easy to spot. I’m sure you’ve seen their painted faces.”
That brought much curiosity to Perci. How on earth did they paint her faces? Did it look pretty? Could she get some face paint as well and enforce just how beautiful she was? All would be tested soon. “No? You’ve must’ve seen their multiple pelts then? They possess ancient powers. Go see for yourselves. They pray in foreign tongues and see visions of the future— they may even tell you yours if you bring a fair trade. Even the members themselves are unlike anything of ours. Two aren’t even wolves at all, but a third deer and a third rabbit, the rarest of hybrids. And the others are— well... you’ll just have to witness them in person,” her father wrapped up his summary about these neighbours that seemed so intriguing before a far away screech drew Perci's attention to the mouth of the den. Was that the sound that one of the super rare hybrids made? Were the hybrids pretty? Even if they were, they couldn't be as pretty as her. Listening in to the directions from her father, Persephone rose to her paws and stomped over to the mouth of the den. "Come on bozos, we're in charge and we're going to go meet these wolves," the little girl bossed around the rest of her litter, taking her place as Leader of the Day in her stride.
On the way to the neighbours, the scenery was surely... interesting. It stunk like her mother and father, but looked like meat that they had been eating, just a little more rotten. Perhaps if it was a little fresher, she would have tried a bite, but in its current state, it would stain her pale pelt red and brown, and would probably rub bugs off onto her. No thank you. At last, she spotted the group that her father had declared to be their neighbours, but they didn't have any paint on their faces! Had her father lied to them? Were they at the wrong neighbours? They couldn't be, two creatures that were so incredibly odd stood with the wolves. Those must be the Hybrids! So these were the wolves that could tell Perci her future. They were an odd bunch, the scent of milk clung to some, the scent of death to others, and a strong scent of herbs and whatever they were to the creatures. They sure were weird.
Marching up to a large oaken male next to a weird, really black male and eventually joined by one of the creatures, Persephone delicately set her rump on the cleanest patch of ground she could find and waited for the rest of her idiotic litter to catch up. After looking up at the male with judgemental picking eyes, Persephone finally piped up, "Hey you! Our dad said you could tell us our future for a good deal. I'll give ya' the two ugliest of those three to know my future." The black snouted pup gestured to her brother Sauron and her other two siblings, keeping Tern out of the deal. She didn't want the only sibling she got along with given over to the neighbours. THough he wasn't all that pretty, he was okay enough to not annoy the she-pup constantly.

Warmth. The feeling of comodity and peacefulness that surrounded Tern was almost overwhelming. Curled up in a ball, surrounded by his littermates was one of the greatest pleasures on his life. But, the sensation was inmediatly cut short by a hiss. It had come from his sister, Persephone. Tern and her got along pretty well, they complemented each other flawlessly. So, with an irritated look on his face, that he just couldn't hold off for the time being, the black pup got up, siding with his fellow sibling.
In front of them, was their father, Beelzebub. If the male pup was honest, he didn't really like his father that much. Always teasing them and whatnot. Such a nuisance! The much bigger adult talked to them, with his usual mocking tone, smirk as big as his face would allow. “You and Tern are in charge for today". Perci's face lit up right there and then, really appreciating their father's choice, while Tern, well, kid wanted to keep sleeping. Yet, for the sake of perfomance, he smiled too.
"Your mission... meet our neighbours! If they like the lot of you, they may even ask you for dinner. Don’t worry they’re easy to spot. I’m sure you’ve seen their painted faces”. The black pup knew their pack lived alongside another group, but nobody had ever gone into detail about them. Not like anyone here cared enough to explain such trivial thing of course. Looking at his male progenitor with a mixed expression, born out of disbelief and curiosity. Apparently, some of his littermates had done exactly the same, as their father carried on with his explanation into further detail. And the others are— well... you’ll just have to witness them in person”.
Following the instructions of their father, the quintet moved to their so called neighbours's location, with Persephone leading the way. "Come on bozos, we're in charge and we're going to go meet these wolves!". Tern followed her closely, almost right behind her. He didn't know why exactly, but the yet-to-grow male felt safer around Perci than with any of his fellow siblings. It wasn't that he didn't like them at least a bit, but Persephone was just closer.
The path followed was relatively short, it just smelled weird. Like the meat they usually eat. "Is it dinner time for them already?. It was mixed with some other scents too, but meat was dominant. In fact, there were chunks of meat laying around the place, rotting, with bugs all around. The sight of Persephone getting closer to it, giving him the image of his sister taking a bite of the carcass managed to make even his manipulative ass gag.
Soon enough, they got to the place. Some wolves were around the place, but none of them had paint on their faces, at all. But one thing that was true, was the presence of funny-looking, weird-smelling creatures. Talking under his breath, the male spoke. "Are these the hybrids father was talking about?". Once the five were reunited, Persephone spoke up, kind of on a harsh tone. "Hey you! Our dad said you could tell us our future for a good deal. I'll give ya' the two ugliest of those three to know my future."
Smilling at the ground, the pup felt great knowing he was excluded out of the deal. He knew she wasn't for real, but damn, did it feel good to be above someone. Take that, little bitches. Taking the advantage of being behind all of them, and therefore out of reach of anybody's sight, the black pup smiled maliciously behind them all, looking somewhere else right before one of his siblings turned around to look at him, playing it cool.
As much as he appreciated his sister's compliments, Tern would have preffered a much more subtle approach. Using his acting dotes, the small one took a few steps forward, locating him right behind his sister. Kid was about to talk to big, ebony wolf but at last moment decided against the decision, feeling that this one was somebody one couldn't really fuck with, turning his gaze instead to the creature on the grown male's side. Scent said it was a lady, despite her puzzling appearence, so he went with that.
"Lady, uhm, our dad sent us to meet our neighbours. He told us you had colorful faces an-and special powers! Are you really them?". Looking back at the ground, hiding behind his sister, the pup smiled. Think I pulled it off...

Alpha Adramalech of Mortiul | The male sat quietly, watching as the others around him were moving and shuffling about. Ear swiveled as pawsteps seemed to be approaching him. Turning his obsidian gaze towards the female that was approaching him, with seemingly a new arrival, he couldn't help but feel a spark of anger well up in his stomach. He hadn't the room for more wolves, nor would he be able to feed all the mouths he currently had, especially in the area they were residing within. With winter arriving, it would be hard enough to feed themselves with the number of wolves they had, but he couldn't deny that they need more wolves at the same time. Even if it meant that some of his wolves went hungry, the weaker ones would die off and give him the strongest out of their ranks. Bellatrix spoke to him in that moment, causing him to snap out of his thoughts and turn towards the female with a glare. She acted as if she had the ability to speak to him in a friendlier tone than most of his subordinates, specifically calling him by the nickname 'Adra'. She spoke the male learning what they were all about, and he shook his head. Grave mistake on his part, but the black male stood, towering over the male easily.
With muscles rippling underneath the black expanse of fur, he shifted his body to stand dominantly and aggressively, looking towards the she-wolf before he addressed the new wolf. "Watch what you call me, bitch," He growled out, pearly whites coming to light as he snarled, bearing teeth. As he pulled his attention towards the male, he retracted his teeth once more underneath his lips as he looked at him, calculating and analyzing his appearance carefully. He didn't seem like much, especially with just his appearance. He would be useful as a possible Omega, or a Scout and he could make him Bellatrix's problem instead of his. Brutus had been a short term wolf that had disappeared one night, it seemed however, that his escape plan had failed since he had been found dead at their borders. None of his wolves had touched the male, but it seemed that the male had either poisoned himself, or had been killed by another rogue. The male deserved it after all. Turning towards Bellatrix, the she-wolf that seemed to have no respect, he felt like she needed something to do other than adventure away from the group. She was his sentinel, so he appreciated her concern about their borders, but he had absolutely no time to deal with this male.
"Since you've brought me this pitiful excuse for a wolf, you'll be in charge of keeping an eye on him while I decide what to do with him," He said, looking from the male towards the female once more. "And if you're 'wondering what we're about', I'll have to refrain from telling you until you are trustworthy and prove to not run away or kill yourself; not that you'll get the chance to do either," He growled, looking towards the male. His brother, Beelzebub approached at that time, giving Adramalech no further room to talk as he took to making the male submit, and following right along the lines of what Adramalech had been planning on saying. Giving a flick of his tail, he looked towards Beelzebub. "Brother, come. We need to speak to Koga about plans since we've yet another mouth to feed," With a glare towards the two others that were present, he turned away from them, looking towards his target. Koga was a brother in arms and therefore he would consult the male before simply up and leaving without his group. Moving towards the male, he gave a gruff bark to give the male warning of his arrival, but he would wait if he were speaking to another wolf before pulling him aside.
"I believe it is time that we move our group," Adramalech stated. Getting to the point was one of Adramalech's more prominent personality traits, and the best Alpha trait he possessed. "There are too many mouths to feed right now off of this territories prey. Most of the prey will have ventured towards the mountains to migrate and therefore I think we should depart to find ourselves a a valley to gather more sufficient prey," He said, looking towards all the little wolves running around. "With the pups needing to grow stronger as well, this journey will prove good for them."

Time Skip
Harsh tangerine optics snap to wakefulness with a suddenness that is almost startling, tapered ears flicking as Vivaldi jerks into consciousness. There is no gentle transition from sleep to wake for this lupess, only a cold clarity rapidly overtaking dreamless peace. Slender limbs gather underneath a plumped underbelly, and the alabaster bitch releases an unhappy sigh at the rather obnoxious reminder of her pregnancy. She had, of course, accepted Adramalech’s proposition many months before, knowing that young soldiers molded in their image would be valuable indeed - though she cannot say she’s enjoying the process getting there. The phrase ‘growing fat with pups’ was hardly an understatement, and she frequently wished the poor babes would deign to be born already. She missed the speed and agility she once coveted. Hauling herself to her paws, the scarred alphess shakes the dirt and debris from her pelt, making her seem a ghost among the snow. No season suited Vivaldi like winter, rendering her all but invisible - if not for her eyes. Leaving the warmth of her secluded den behind, she approaches the clearing housing the pack.
The pale wolf had always had a certain grace about her, but now she stalks with a regal air, as if maternity had unlocked some feminine wile that had been hidden to her before. Keen glare narrowed in mild distaste as she gazes upon the gathered wolves, she allows a sliver of warmth to soften her stare as Marusya comes into view. The bitch had vastly enjoyed training with the other female, and the fierce delight she felt when the other had grown into a friend and equal stayed with her still. Unfortunately their spars had been delayed with the impending motherhood of both, yet she was certain once her own little demons were born their bond of shared strength would grow still. Interrupted from her reverie as a silken tail sweeps under her chin, she reflexively whips her own tail to whap against an equally pale shoulder as a familiar figure begins to circle. Only one had the audacity to touch her in such a manner, and her lips pull into a fearsome grin as Suki saunters into view. The spark of affection she felt for the other bitch upon first meeting had grown into a deep-rooted friendship, and she trusted Suki to have her back as surely as she would have hers - and in a pack made of murderers and crazies, that was a rarity to be sure.
“Suki, resplendent as you are, surely you know that you’ll always be the apple of my eye.” She purrs in response, falling into the jokingly flirtatious manner that they always spoke with. “However, if I try to hunt anything, I’m fairly sure I’ll pop - and neither of us want that.” Then, with a wry look towards where the Alpha and his main posse were conversing, she utters, “Though I cant say no to a girls day. If I never have to bear pups again it will be too soon.” Despite her flippantly cool demeanor, half her attention turns to where the three dark-coated males conversed, along with Bella and some poor new fool. Beelzebub’s typical sadist-insanity combo brings an exasperated smirk to her lips, and she wonders whatever happened to the previous ‘chew toy’ - Maya? Miyaka? Whom ever it was must have grown boring indeed if he was already staking claim to the new brute. And wasn’t that a thought; some wolf to do her bidding without a second thought. That would certainly be handy once the pups were born, because the alabaster alphess certainly wasn’t going to lay in the den and entertain them until they could walk. Unfortunately though, she trusted few among them with anything resembling a newborn - and those she did she respected too much to require it of them.
What a predicament indeed.

The thick-furred male stood rigidly and watched with careful eyes as the Alpha addressed the female who had brought himself to this beast of a male. He was taller and heavier than Ronin, even though he was big for his size, which made him want to instinctively cower, but something told him he wouldn't do well looking so weak. Even though his legs threatened to tremble, he stood firm and forced himself to breathe calmly, hoping his low tail, head, and ears was the proper way to show his non-aggression towards the male. He definitely didn't want to seem like he was challenging him in any way. He made it clear to not address him familiarly, baring sharp teeth to the female before turning his burning gaze to the young intruder in front of him. His gaze was analyzing, looking for any sort of worth in him, because if he had nothing to offer than there was no reason to keep him around. And if they were as vicious as they seemed, there would be no reason to keep him alive. Suddenly the dark wolf commanded the she-wolf to watch over Ronin, and he found himself tilting his head to look over at her, wondering how that news was going to settle in her maw. He suddenly felt more useless than ever, and he hadn't even had a chance to show them he could actually hold his own. He was scolded by the Alpha now for his earlier words, looking down as he was told he was untrustworthy. He completely understood, of course, he just really wished he hadn't said that sentence earlier. At that time almost silent footsteps came up behind him, and Ronin's ears swiveled around just in time to hear the chilling, grating laugh escape from the approaching wolf's lips as he circled the newcomer. He looked over at the male, wondering what he should do, when the wolf buried his muzzle in his neck fur. He stiffened up further, fighting the urge to fight him to get him away from such a vulnerable spot, feeling his neck get damp from the saliva that dripped from the wolf's lips. He swallowed thickly as the male congratulated the wolf they called Bella, circling around him way too closely. He knew he was trying to make him uncomfortable, and even though he tried to seem like it wasn't affecting him, it definitely was scaring the lights out of him. Were they really cannibals, as he had heard? Were they going to eat him? He suddenly didn't want to be here anymore. The male stuck his nose in his ear, growling out a warning to him. He wanted to fight his way out of this, run as far as he could away from these terrifying wolves, but as he had already been told, he was no longer in control of his future. His lips curled briefly in a sudden flight-or-fight response, but knowing he was within five feet of two battle-hardened wolves who could kill him in two seconds, he quickly withdrew. He would have to prove himself in other ways. There would be no good reason for getting himself murdered so early on. Still, he remained silent, looking to Bella for guidance on what to do next. @bellatrix @beelzebub Alpha Adramalech

| Welcomer Marusya of The Cultists |
“G-good morning Mother,” came the tiniest voice of all Marusya’s pups; Tiny. Flicking a tail, couldn’t Maleah have picked a more… better name? Sighing, she wouldn’t think twice. Tiny was already Tiny, and was all for Maleah. Marusya was not blind nor dumb to not realize her relationship with Tiny was non-existent, but everytime she looked at her she could see her lost son. Tearing her gaze away from the child she let out a small huff unconsciously. Next was Varuna, the treasure male of the group.
Xalie was soon over and had dropped the herbs. Maleah seemed to need to drag the two princesses from their slumbers. Eyes narrowed at the two twins who seemed to think they could get away with sleeping in whenever they deemed it. Perhaps they were spoiling the lot of them too much. Letting a tail sweep behind her in irritance, she would lecture them later. Perhaps it was time for the little ones to have their first walk with Adjetni. Maybe Ky could even watch over them a little, scare them into obeying and being prompt, like leaders should.
“Well, now that we have everyone here, I guess we can get started,” came Marusya’s quip, aiming her disappointment at the girls. Even though they were destined to rule, they would still need to be disciplined. Turning to Xalie she gave the Shaman a genuine smile and nod, “That will be all, my dear.”
Turning to the pile of herbs she split them into four small piles. The smell was intense as a larger bundle but wouldn’t be as potent this way. “Each of you roll around in these, you will be meeting the King and Queen of Mortiul today and I will not tolerate misbehavior,” she growled out, eyeing all four of them equally, “from anyone, understand?”
Hearing the agreement from her children she turned to Maleah as they rolled in the herbs. “You will not need to accompany me today, but do not stray too far from this area in case we need you,” Marusya spoke, hoping that this would give Maleah some quality time to herself. Small doses of kindness grows loyalty and respect better than strict fear. Marusya would never need to use fear around anyone here, as there were already quite a few who do that. Being one of the few rays of kindness will grow fonder relationships better.
Turning around to see the progress her mate had made out of their den. Sadly, not far. As was typical. He was the leader of their group and would be swarmed by those that needed guidance. Hopefully soon, she'll have others approach her for guidance. However, what perked her attention was the approach King Alpha Adramalech. Before leaving to great their partner in crime, she barked out to her pups, "Best behavior."
Approaching the gathering group, she followed suit when Adramalech pulled Koga aside. "Good morning, hoped the winter is treating you and yours well," she spoke formalities, dipping her head in respect. She even tilted her head towards Beelzebub in greeting, setting aside personal grudges for the time being, as was necessary of leaders. Listening as Adramalech spoke about travelling, she nodded her head in agreement.
This would further her previous thoughts of having the pups have their first walk with Adjetni. Ears flickered to listen to her mate speak, nodding occasionally. "I do think that moving would prove good, it would weed out any weaklings that can't keep up," she added to whatever was, even restating if the thought was already stated. Marusya's mind moved to Vivaldi and her impending birth. Vivaldi would need her own Maleah to fully succeed as an Alphess after the birth. Having Maleah around saved Marusya.
Looking over she spotted Suki with Vivaldi and if their eyes met she would give a nod in her direction. Marusya would offer this idea to both Vivaldi, and Suki. Right now, the groups needed to be closer and even though she would murder the bitch in her sleep, Marusya would be civil. As civil as she could be.

“ It seemed that the pair of crown jewels, the future Prophet and Messiah, hadn't woken up enough from the nanny's tail brush. The slender Iberian resorted to lifting the pups out of the den quickly, already fearing that the morning mood of Marusya could turn hostile quickly. Even with the nick on her ear, would that really protect her from the Prophet's mate? Though she's been living with Koga and Marusya for months, old habits died hard. Each time she messes up something small, like not getting the girls up in time, the timid fairy fears repercussions. Now there was another layer of fear, what would the pup's punishment be? Maleah was practically their mom, and she didn't want to see any of them hurt."Well, now that we have everyone here, I guess we can get started," the voice of Marusya was laced with disappointment towards her daughters, but Maleah couldn't help but shrink away from the tone. Trying to distract herself from the shame that welled up in her system, Maleah turned her neon gaze towards the piles of herbs on the ground. The jagged edges of the leaves, the strong scent of the plants, the sacred meaning held beneath green filtered light, it was truly beautiful, even just for a bundle of plants on the snow. The symbolic rolling of the herbs was something that Maleah didn't quite fully understand, but it was important to Marusya and Koga, so the gentle nanny wouldn't question it.“Each of you roll around in these, you will be meeting the King and Queen of Mortiul today and I will not tolerate misbehaviour from anyone, understand?” the Queen of the brood eyed each of her children, her words causing Maleah's throat to close up. Even with the two groups separating, and their pregnant Alphess' council in how to stand up for herself a little bit more, Mortiul was still threatening to her. Their size and bloodlust rivalled that of even Ky, and he was virtually insane, only pacified by Koga. Maleah snapped out of her thoughts as Marusya turned to her. “You will not need to accompany me today, but do not stray too far from this area in case we need you,” her leader explained, basically setting the nanny free.At first, Maleah almost couldn't believe what she was hearing. She didn't need to accompany her today? Was Marusya going to be taking care of the pups all on her own as they met with Mortiul? Even after being let out on a longer leash, Maleah wanted to make sure that the pups were okay with the neighbouring group. If they scared her, they might scare the young ones twice as much, but that was Marusya's command. If she wanted to let Maleah have some free time, which she was deeply grateful for, then Maleah would take it. Giving the Alphess a small smile and a dip of her head, Maleah moved away from the rolling pups a few steps, not quite sure was to do with herself yet.It seemed that another event was on the horizon for the two groups. All of the sudden, a small pack of pups marched right up to Koga's paws, squeaking out odd demands with even more weird methods of payment. Slowly, giving one final glance towards Marusya and the pups, Maleah moved a little bit closer to Koga, still wanting to be involved with what the pack was going to be doing. A childish sense of curiosity sat deep-rooted within her system, shining through occasionally like sunlight through forest leaves. The cinnamon nanny had thought that it would be them moving to go and meet with Adramalech and Vivaldi, but it seemed that Mortiul was all filtering over to where they were. First came Suki and Vivaldi, joining the group a short distance away to have a conversation. Then came Adramalech himself, striding toward Koga with an obvious purpose in his step. He brought with him the trailing form of his brother, making Maleah's heart beat just that bit faster so that it was noticeable. The peppered pelt still managed to send her into a panic whenever she saw it with memories of her first encounter with the demons. Trying to not make any sort of contact, eye or physical, with Beelzebub, Maleah inched closer to Koga, her neutral posture showing signs of wavering under the presence of the powerful wolves."I believe it is time that we move our group. There are too many mouths to feed right now off of this territories prey. Most of the prey will have ventured towards the mountains to migrate and therefore I think we should depart to find ourselves a valley to gather more sufficient prey. With the pups needing to grow stronger as well, this journey will prove good for them." The inky leader of Mortiul addressed her Alpha once he was finished talking with the pair of maned wolves. "I do think that moving would prove good, it would weed out any weaklings that can't keep up," the voice of Marusya startled the nanny. Quickly, she threw her caring gaze over to where the four pups were, checking up on them to make sure that they were still doing fine. She couldn't help but feel like the 'weaklings' that her Alphess was targetting with her words was Tiny, and Tiny alone. She very much disliked the idea of Tiny being left behind. If they were going to be moving, the nanny would make sure that the smallest of the pups wouldn't be left behind.
Flicking her neon gaze between the leaders of the two powerful groups, Maleah remained silent, waiting to see what the decision on moving would be. The nanny was surprised that they had stayed so long in the Dry Woods, then again, there were three pregnancies that came to or were coming to term in a very short period of time, so moving around was not easy. However, with Vivaldi having not given birth yet, and Maleah's adopted litter able to walk, as were these strange pups, moving was a possibility at the moment that seemed beneficial. Losing herself a little bit in her thoughts, Maleah simply stood to the side, a semi-lost soul on the edge of the conversation.

PUP VARUNA
OF
THE CULTISTS
Varuna flattened his ears to his skull, shrinking underneath his mother’s stern gaze. Even if the look was not directed at him, he still shook underneath the disappointment. None of them have been punished, yet, but their mother exuded intimidation that had him never wanting to cross that line. Looking to his sleepy and worn out sisters, he gave them a look. Even though the two were more prized than him, he wouldn’t let them fuck up his good reputation with his parents.
New smells hit his nose before he saw them, tiny little wolves waddled right up to his father. They talked without seeming to have a care in the world, the nerve of them! How dare they show zero respect to their Prophet. Letting out a squeaky snarl, he watched as his mother moved towards the group. He was hoping he would get to see her finally lay into someone, but instead she turned her attention to the new adults.
Varuna felt a little shock he hadn’t even noticed the approaching strangers. His father and mother knew them though, apparently. He didn’t really question that, much. He was more interested in the pups that had shown up. His mother had said to behave, but he was very curious in the little creatures. They seemed only a little younger than himself and his siblings, but not by much. Although he really didn’t have that great sense in time, so he really wasn’t sure.
Maleah, their nanny, had already left so now he was stuck with his curiosity and his siblings who bored him. “Imset, I dare you to go say hi,” he quipped in her direction.

The little she-wolf felt absolutely nothing when it came to not being on time. She sauntered her way from her sleeping space, looking around to the wolves that she called her family before heading over towards Imset, her twin and the only wolf she could really stand besides their father and mother. She was far more interested in why the big black brute named Adramalech had approached their father. It seemed the male had an interesting topic, talking about moving the group. She perked her ears, moving towards the conversation, and sitting behind Maleah silently, as to spook the female after she would speak in the matters. She knew that her parents were rather strict and didn't want her intruding, but she would be the leader of the pack some day, and so she would need to be involved in matters like this. Looking back towards her siblings, and then towards the other wolves that milled about amongst the makeshift commons, her eyes took a gander at what Maleah was alarmed about. The mention of weaklings made Anubis crack a smile, looking towards her siblings, hoping that one or two of them would be left behind to die. She didn't want them to be consistently getting in her way, even if they were family. "How about we just leave Tiny behind?" Anubis spoke up finally, looking towards her parents and then to Maleah with a innocent, yet malicious smile placed upon her lips. She knew that these words would spark their nanny into possibly denying it, or get their nanny in trouble. "After all, that seems what Maleah is worried about," The she-pup rubbed up against the she-wolf with a gaze upward, looking her straight in the eye if Maleah were to look at her. Heading over towards her father, she circled his feet, placing herself in between his front two paws, looking up towards her father. "What do you think daddy? I want to explore new places after all," She then looked to the fantastical beast that was named Adramalech, and then towards his wolves. "And can we play with those pups? I promise we won't hurt them... too much," she gave a little giggle, looking towards the other little ones that were running around, hoping that she would receive an answer. If she were to be scolded, which she knew that she potentially wouldn't, she wouldn't care. She was having an insane amount of fun. Within mere weeks of his return to Mortiul, winter arrived, and with it wielding all manners of marvelous change. Soft, thick sheets of snow blanketed their barren landscape, cloaking the carnage it had previously known so well. Now, it appeared innocent, the only trace of its previous inhabitants being the broken claw-marks embedded in elm. Winter had regrettably halted their gospel, but had brought with it wonders that would make any wait worthwhile. The value of Mortiul’s friendship magnified tremendously; the pack more than making up for the gifts he’d granted. Unwanted or unruly prisoners were often gifted to him and Marusya bearing all of Adramalach’s ‘tender’ affections, the subsequent meal sustaining the lot for days on end. It seemed his pack had lately acquired a taste for such flesh, thanks to his training no doubt. Any lack of appetite could be cured with a mandatory supervised month-long fast, and by the end, even his most hesitant wolves feasted with relish. That was the first transformation they’d planned, the first of many to mold his and his darling’s followers, enlightening them exactly according to Adjetni’s desires. Three months yielded marvels, the most prominent ironically being none than his mate, Marusya. Motherhood had molded her anew, yielding three blessed pups. The loss of her fourth had devastated her initially, but with time, prayers, and penance, her resolve hardened. Her life held purpose he’d never been able to grant it, shifting the softhearted, helpless she-wolf that he’d known her first as into a confident, ambitious, clever Alphess. All he’d ever hoped she’d become she became seemingly overnight, acclimating to authority without any hesitation. Gradually, she’d grown accustomed to taking command, eventually controlling every aspect of her personal affairs. He couldn’t have been more pleased. Her determination had shaped her into a Prophetess fitting to rule by his side, every bit his equal in all pack affairs. It had been her that instructed Maleah on how to properly raise their offspring, from the looks of it yielding impeccable results. Already, the twins Imset and Anubis possessed marvelous potential, the latter already displaying all signs of being their future Messiah. Her sister, however, shared a similar anointing; the pair being practically inseparable since nursing. The two shared a sibling bond unparalleled to that of any other; a unique, synchronized teamwork that took most years to develop. As a result, they both had been jointly anointed, with Anubis receiving Adjetni’s word, and Imset interpreting. And then his son Varuna, forever blessed with beauty. Maleah had maintained him magnificently, with more and more of Adjetni’s blessing appearing in him each day; most recently, marbled heterochromia, the symbol of salvation’s perfectly balanced nature. Yes, he concluded, Marusya instructed Maleah’s parenting duties perfectly. "Rise and shine,” Marusya softly muttered, nudging her nose against his. As they departed on their morning route, he couldn’t help but consider the irony that soon Marusya would have a second litter to attend too; by her creation, but not by her blood. A sobbing Iberian she-wolf much like Maleah had been gifted to them as a second servant; Miyako, Beelzebub’s prize, but within a week Marusya decided she wasn’t suited for servitude. She was too whiny, she reasoned, to fragile, too helpless, too frail to ever get a grip on the way they wanted things done. Although, Marusya had marveled, a cold ambition gilding her gaze, she was young and grown, the picture of perfect health, and just at the age when a wolf could start considering pups. Her first litter was guaranteed strength and health, she’d reckoned, and both packs forever wanted new warriors. Perhaps new puppies were just what they needed. Though he was hesitant at first, Marusya’s logic held weight, and Miyako soon grew heavy with her first litter. Now, only two months later, the poor thing’s plump sides and swollen belly already signified a particularly large brood; unfortunate for her, but excellent for them. They’d been monitoring her progress closely from the beginning. “Love,” he mused as they walked. “Our second litter should be due within the month. Why don’t we check on it?”Before they could do so, they swung by Xalie’s den first, with Marusya providing brief instruction before departing. Xalie instantly took after, but returned momentarily, bowing just the way he’d taught her so. “Good morning, Sir!” She chirped sweetly. “I hope you slept well!” Instantly, his gaze softened, gaining a happy, playful hint of mischief. She’d retained every slip of innocent oblivion; obedient to a fault so much so that she loathed asking for assistance. Alas, today she’d had to, requesting a temporary escort while she went to gather herbs. Quentin, the second hybrid, unfortunately volunteered. Normally, he’d feel inclined to say no- the maned wolf was course, perverse, cruel, everything Xalie was not –but a set of new arrivals opened new opportunity. “Hey you!” He suppressed a chuckle. Only the Mortiul beta, Beelzebub, could produce a litter so course. The lead pup was his only daughter, Persephone, a golden-furred girl with a foul temperament and tongue to match. It was their first time on Ignasian territory. Beelzebub must’ve wanted to be rid of them early today. “Our dad said you could tell us our future for a good deal,” Persephone pitched promptly, eyeing him closely. “I'll give ya' the two ugliest of those three to know my future." Koga couldn’t resist cracking a smile. She drove a difficult bargain, but as much as he’d love to punt her siblings, he’d more important matters to attend to. “The future’s looking slightly bleary for me at the moment,” he began, giving a soft, longing sigh. “But I’ve been teaching my Shaman Xalie how to properly induce visions. If you’d like, you and your siblings may accompany her and Quentin while they gather herbs. And pay close attention! After all, maned wolves have an affinity for the future. Wouldn’t you say, Quentin?” He concluded with a wink. As he departed the den, he scented his shadow following close behind. “Good morning brother,” he chided Ky, gently nipping the space where he’d torn his ears. “Follow closely. Our brothers in arms will be visiting today.” Already, Adramalach’s brash warning bark signified his and his wolves’ arrival, his beta lingering behind in wait. Marusya instantly materialized by his side, but not before advising their brood to remain on their best behavior. “Greetings Adramalach, Vivaldi,” he began calmly, dipping his head politely. “What business brings you here?” Mortiul brought more wolves than he’d initially expected, Alphess Vivaldi and Delta Suki lingering on the edges. He too felt his own wolves’ presence surrounding him from behind, congregating to observe the occasion. "I believe it is time that we move our group," he began, eyeing their four pups as they emerged from their den. “There are too many mouths to feed right now off of this territory’s prey. Most of the prey will have ventured towards the mountains to migrate, and therefore I think we should depart to find ourselves a valley to gather more sufficient prey. With the pups needing to grow stronger as well, this journey will prove good for them," he finished, awaiting his and Marusya’s response. “I agree. After all, this land was only ever meant to be temporary,” he mused. “Both packs have already grown well beyond what the woods can provide. Speaking of such,” he suddenly chimed. “It’s my pleasure to inform you that Miyako is expecting her first litter. You and your kin are free to take first pick- our treat. I hope pregnancy is treating Vivaldi well. We simply must secure you a nanny before delivery,” he chuckled. “As for our relocation, I recall the Brush Lands are the swiftest way to the mountainside. Or through Ferus territory, if you’re up for some fun. I could have my wolves scout a route or we could leave at your discretion. Your pick.”Marusya commented on weeding out weaklings, inciting Anubis’s interest. "How about we just leave Tiny behind?" A small, knowing smile curled the corners of the pup’s mouth as she brushed sweetly against her nanny. “After all,” she continued. “That seems what Maleah is worried about. What do you think Daddy?” She mentioned slyly, settling herself between his hefty paws. “I want to explore new places after all. And can we play with those pups?” She giggled. “I promise we won't hurt them... too much." His daughter had inherited his way with words it seemed, every bit as crafty and clever as he remembered his past self. A slight, pleased smile curled the corners of his maw. “Of course you can,” he added, purposely avoiding the question of Tiny. “You all will be exploring soon enough. Adramalach, this is my first anointed heir, Anubis. Her sister Imset will be ruling by her side. Imset,” he beckoned. “Come forward. And there’s my son Varuna,” he gestured towards his markedly handsome pup. “Blessed, isn’t he? He’ll be spreading our gospel for years to come. Which reminds me,” he trailed off, adjusting his attention to Adra. “I’ve been meaning to tell you since their birth. I’d like you and your mate to take one of my pups for mentorship. Consider it a token of friendship, a sign that our two families will forever be united.” He paused, smiling cordially. “Take your time and look the lot of them over. Let me know when you’ve made your pick.”Tagged: Alpha Adramalech , Apprentice Anubis , Apprentice Imset , Beta Ky , @marusya , Maleah , @persephone Infidel Quentin , @suki , @tern , Apprentice Varuna , @xalie

Having kept an eye on the congregation of leaders, she can tell from snippets and expressions when conversation had grown to more...businesslike matters. Dragging her tail along Suki’s flank as she departs, the lupess takes measured steps towards the group before taking a place beside Adramalech and sending a small smirk Marusya’s way. With minimal shuffling about the Alphess seats herself comfortably, torn ears twitching idly as she takes stock of the situation. Koga would greet them both before continuing on to the point. It would seem that they were speaking of moving, and her eyes narrow thoughtfully. It was high time, and if they waited any longer, she would have to drag along a litter of pups still crying for milk, and that wouldn’t do. Vivaldi had little patience for children even when they were useful, let alone when they were blind and practically crippled. If they attempted travel after she gave birth she’d likely kill the whelps herself. Snorting lightly at her own exaggerated thoughts, the alabaster lupess is stony in her silence, gaze analytical as she assesses the gathered wolves. Despite her Alphess title, Vivaldi often let Adramalech take the lead in most things, with occasional input on her end. His wolves were well-trained and very informed of their places, so her particular brand of guidance was rarely needed. A surefire way to know if the bitch was displeased was if she actually felt the need to interfere, rather than send a warning glare someone’s way.
I hope pregnancy is treating Vivaldi well. We simply must secure you a nanny before delivery. Koga was certainly a charming fellow, which she supposed is why he had managed to amass such a following. As he essentially voices her own thoughts from earlier, she casts an assessing glance towards wherever Miyako lay - though, no, she wouldn’t do. As obedient a little servant the she-wolf had proven herself, she’d likely off and die if assigned the care of her own pups and Vivaldi’s. Raising a single brow as one of Marusya’s whelps saunters her way between Koga’s paws, she narrows her eyes as a Tiny was mentioned. What an...unfortunate name. It certainly didn’t seem like something of Maru’s doing, since she knew the bitch to be much cleverer than basing a name off of the literal. Even so - and she casts her eyes upon the pups gathered, one two three - she does not spot any that could be named Tiny. Finally, finally, the icy lupess speaks up.
“They’re certainly strong little things, befitting of their parents.” She utters clearly, voice just loud enough to be heard. “Yet I find myself hard pressed to look the lot of them over, when one of yours appears to be hiding behind your nanny.” She interjects a sliver of amusement into her tones, harsh orange optics peering towards Maleah and the little brown creature at her side. “I was the smallest of my own litter, and I find from… experience that struggle breeds a particular kind of strength.” Her eyes narrow further as she considers all the pups before her, but she knew that she was already set on one. Vivaldi would take this silent, quivering pup that reminded her so of her own childhood, and mold her in her own image. Her voice is clear and concise as she shifts her gaze to Adra, lips curling slightly at the edges.
“I would like the runt.” This Tiny would thrive under her care, or die.

"Imset.” In response to the uttering of her name, Imset shifted her gaze to the source. Her father appeared to be beckoning her. “Come forward." He spoke, before gesturing to Varuna and saying something Imset didn't care to listen to. He didn't seem to be addressing her anymore. She diverted his gaze away from him and did as she was ordered. Father knew best. Or enough. After doing what she was told, Imset warily looked to Varuna and keyed in on what her father was saying out of mild interest. “I’ve been meaning to tell you since their birth. I’d like you and your mate to take one of my pups for mentorship. Consider it a token of friendship, a sign that our two families will forever be united.” Mmm. Unexpected. Imset tilted her head as she listened to her father's voice, not caring much at all about who the female in question would choose. There was a small chance it would be her, not as small as the other's chances. Plus, if she was chosen, she'd worry about it then, and in that moment. “Take your time and look the lot of them over. Let me know when you’ve made your pick." Her father said again. Imset let out a small snort, shifting her little gaze to the other pups. She thought about the choices available, and her competion, but really it was all a matter of preference. Annoyingly so, Imset was ripped from her thoughts again, hearing yet another voice speak she felt interested enough to acknowledge. “They’re certainly strong little things, befitting of their parents. Yet I find myself hard-pressed to look the lot of them over when one of yours appears to be hiding behind your nanny. I was the smallest of my own litter, and I find from experience that struggle breeds a particular kind of strength.” And what strength could this be? This female puzzled Imset. The world cared not for weaker beings. The only strength Imset could only imagine being born from weakness... was the lie of strength one convinces herself... theirself... to have. It wasn't real strength. Or was it? “I would like the runt.” The female's voice was clear and concise, her lips curling slightly at the edges. This female... or rather... Vivaldi character, was one of few who confused and challenged Imset's young mind, and Imset found herself staring at the female with mild wonder in her eyes. What a strange concept. Strength being born from struggle and weakness. It made Imset tilt her head and seem uncertain, almost lost, for this female, though odd to Imset she was... was neither right nor wrong. @marusya @flint Maleah @koga @marusya Apprentice Anubis Apprentice Varuna @tiny Alpha Adramalech and @vivaldi (If I forgot anyone I'm sorry.)

“ It didn't take long for the Prophet to add his input to the demon king's proposition, “I agree. After all, this land was only ever meant to be temporary. Both packs have already grown well beyond what the woods can provide." That much was true. There was a lack of non-rogue prey, and even having acquired a taste for her own kind, she would still much prefer to eat deer or any other mammal. "Speaking of such, it’s my pleasure to inform you that Miyako is expecting her first litter. You and your kin are free to take first pick- our treat. I hope pregnancy is treating Vivaldi well. We simply must secure you a nanny before delivery. As for our relocation, I recall the Brush Lands are the swiftest way to the mountainside. Or through Ferus territory, if you’re up for some fun. I could have my wolves scout a route or we could leave at your discretion. Your pick.” The prophet's reveal was news to the sheltered nanny. Automatically, Maleah's eyes drifted over, trying to find the least familiar face in the growing group. A heavily pregnant she-wolf was what she found, and guilt struck through her system. She hadn't even had enough time to look away from the four pups to register that this Miyako had come and joined their group rather than staying with Mortiul, let alone the fact that she was incredibly pregnant with what looked to be a huge litter. With an apologetic glance towards the she-wolf, the nanny turned her attention to the pups she was tasked with looking after as they filtered into the scene."How about we just leave Tiny behind?" the cynical voice of Anubis stole her breath. Her neon gaze swung around to where the pup had situated herself at her hip, meeting a sneer that knew exactly how much power she had over her nanny. The cinnamon nanny had to bite her lips not to say anything as the smaller body rubbed against her before moving in between her father's legs. “That seems what Maleah is worried about. What do you think Daddy? I want to explore new places after all. And can we play with those pups? I promise we won't hurt them... too much." Of course, the daughter of the Prophet would target her one biggest weakness. It was no secret that Tiny favoured her and she favoured Tiny back, but to have it shoved into the spotlight in front of the parents of the abandoned pup brought a strange sense of embarrassment. Alas, the nanny had to fight back tears at the thought of Tiny being left behind. She settled on holding her breath until she could act naturally and disguise the pain of the thought, hoping that neither Koga nor Marusya had noticed her reaction to their daughter's words. It made her ashamed that the pups had so much power of her. She was sensitive, and usually, Marusya was the one to swoop in and redirect any of her pups' anger and sarcasm, but this time the nanny had to bear the entire brunt of the force.“Of course you can. You all will be exploring soon enough. Adramalach, this is my first anointed heir, Anubis. Her sister Imset will be ruling by her side. Imset, come forward. And there’s my son Varuna. Blessed, isn’t he? He’ll be spreading our gospel for years to come. Which reminds me, I’ve been meaning to tell you since their birth. I’d like you and your mate to take one of my pups for mentorship. Consider it a token of friendship, a sign that our two families will forever be united. Take your time and look the lot of them over. Let me know when you’ve made your pick.” Koga's response held much more sustenance than Maleah expected. It seemed that he had avoided the prospect of abandoning Tiny a second time, unless that 'of course' was directed towards that notion. The thought of the two families coming together was also something new for Maleah to give some thought to. With this new revelation, Maleah would be losing one of the pups she had grown so close to, no matter how distant they made themselves from her. There would be a small hole in her life, more space in her den, but if the Prophet wanted it done, then it would be. By this point, Vivaldi and Suki had drawn closer to the growing group of allies, but soon the Mortiul Alphess looked around at the brood. As the Alphess' icy gaze stared at each of the four pups, the smallest of the four found herself tucked in Maleah's tail leaning against her flank. Maleah was relatively sure that this strong female would not choose Tiny to go with them, Koga and Marusya barely counted them as their pup, she may not even be up for consideration for this apprenticeship. “They’re certainly strong little things, befitting of their parents, yet I find myself hard-pressed to look the lot of them over, when one of yours appears to be hiding behind your nanny.” As soon as she was mentioned in the conversation, especially by Vivaldi, her tail swept away from the smaller form and curled against the opposite side of her flank. She didn't want to show her favouritism after Anubis pointed it out so blatantly. She knew it might hurt Tiny's feelings, but to improve both of their images, she did it anyway. “I was the smallest of my own litter, and I find from… experience that struggle breeds a particular kind of strength. I would like the runt." For the second time, her breath was stolen away. Masking a cough of shock with a smile, Maleah flicked her tail back over to Tiny, coaxing her forwards towards Vivaldi. The only hope that Maleah had was that Adramalech would deny his mate's request and allow the nanny to keep Tiny close to her.
Later on, Maleah was sure that she would be proud of how Tiny would flourish under Vivaldi and Adramalech's attention and training, but with the news hitting her like a ton of bricks that Tiny would be leaving her, it was hard to swallow. Without Tiny, she would receive no love from any of the remaining pups, and likely be patronised by Anubis and Varuna especially about her loss. Maleah predicted that Koga and Marusya would almost relish in the riddance of their last pup, and the rest of the wolves following Koga would likely not experience any difference in their lives. However, it would hit Maleah hard. Trying to mask her pain with a small smile, the nanny placed her neon green gaze on Adramalech, hoping that he would pick one of the other pups and overrule his mate's decision, but it was so unlikely, she may as well just accept that Tiny would be taken away from her side.”

Alien features twisted into a cocky grin as he watched how Koga's features shifted from a soft joy at seeing his favourite maned wolf to a hardened annoyance upon seeing his least favourite. The male was anticipating a harsh no hissed through gritted teeth, but before Koga could even answer, a pack of annoyances barged into their conversation, the leader of the packet being a small she-pup making demands with such confidence that he was almost proud of the thing. He didn't know where they had from, but they smelled enough like bad breath and death to tell that they were probably Beelzebub's brood. That asshole had probably pawned the brats off onto them just to get freaky with Suki again. Now Koga was getting swamped with wolves, the sound of more approaching paws being caught by sonar ears, Quentin wasn't too sure how the male would response. Pup entertaining didn't seem to be the oaken dickhead's strong suit.
“The future’s looking slightly bleary for me at the moment, but I’ve been teaching my Shaman Xalie how to properly induce visions," the leader of the cult wove a tall tale for the pups. Quentin raised his eyebrows, flicking his muzzle into the downy fur of Xalies ear before whispering, "Teaching visions hmm? The future must look bright for us." With a cheeky grin, the larger male turned his attention back to Koga and whatever bullshit he was spouting to the brats. "If you’d like, you and your siblings may accompany her and Quentin while they gather herbs. And pay close attention! After all, maned wolves have an affinity for the future. Wouldn’t you say, Quentin?” Just as soon as he had switched into a flirtatious mood to whisper to Xalie, a cloud of annoyance fell over the ginger male. There definitely was a reason that so many idiots followed this male, he had a talent for twisting words into the most incon-fucking-venient thing for everyone. Shifting the pups from himself and onto the creature that possibly hated them most out of the combined groups apart from their parents, it was a genius move.
"The future as in your pulp staining the snow?" the lanky male growled out, his ink dipped forelimb taking a step forward before a roaring growl from Koga's shadow halted his movements. He wasn't stupid enough to commit suicide via murder, not today at least. One day though, the joy of tormenting Xalie wouldn't be enough to make him stay and he may just abandon this entire shit show. With a hiss of annoyance, the larger male took a few strides away from the group, dragging his tail over Xalie's frame as he did so, just wanting to leave and hopefully use their long strides to leave the pups behind so that he could actually have some fun with his fellow alien. However, it seemed that the leader of the hoard of brats seemed intent on continuing to pester the pair of maned wolves, following him in his strides easily. Sticking the fakest of smiles onto his face, Quentin called out to Xalie, "Lead on sweetheart, you're the only one why knows what we're looking for, and the only one that really knows how to predict the future!" This excursion hadn't gone the direction he wanted it to, so the faster he could ditch the brats, the more fun he could have tormenting his target. Shooting daggers at Koga, the male prepared to move off with Xalie and the conglomerate of brats that were forced to accompany them.
