Kato Rogue Wolf ββ Fall had approached; leaves were beginning to shed off the branches of their birth, and prey were beginning to start the cycle of hibernation. Survival of the fittest, and survival will be a source of aggression. The copper she-wolf was grateful, her coat beginning to match the scenery around her, and a set of tangerine eyes had lay carefully on an oak tree's trunk. Leaning forth, the she-wolf had decided to claim this section as her territory - temporarily, until she were to prance elsewhere in search of a pack she could join effortlessly. Wet inky black nose twitching as the she-wolf relied on her senses, Kato's tan limbs carried her across the patch of territory, insects scattering about to avoid her lightweight paws striking the earth continuously.
Her hope had depleted briefly, tangerine eyes spotting nothing in the form of something edible, a fawn, a rabbit - even the common bird was sheltering in the branches of a tree, perhaps mocking her from above or they might have been tending to other matters. The she-wolf's head swung promptly to her right, as if instinctively responding to the sound of grass and fallen leaves being crinkled behind her ominously. Brows furrowed, she had found herself face to face with a new encounter - a fellow wolf, trespassing on her territory. Her gaze had fluttered with slight anxiety due to his size - the male wolf had almost appeared like what seemed to be a brute of some sort, an alabaster pelt, but an odd prominent pink spot on the bridge of his nose - and what seemed to be... pink... eyes? What? How? Uncertainty flickering through the she-wolf's titian gaze, hackles had danced along her spine as lips peeled back, revealing pearly white fangs and pink gums.
- - - - - - "Oi, are you nose-blind, dumbass?" The younger she-wolf had been quick to insult the older canine, fear replaced by a spark of boldness visible in her autumn colored gaze. "This is my territory, not yours. You're not free to trespass or waddle around like the dim-witted wolf you are. So leave now, before I bite your ass, pink-nose." The she-wolf had knew very well, that this would result into a possible fight. If so, she could care less! Her mind had twisted her anxiety into courage. She could chase off this stupid wolf, no problem! Muscles tensing, a throaty growl escaped from her vocals as she eyed the albino male - brute, waiting for his response.
*If the male wolf were to respond in the same snarky attitude as her, the she-wolf would not respond. Instead, fury had raged across her spine, travelling throughout her body - an eternal, burning flame that only resorted into one thing. Violence. Hind legs pushed back, the she-wolf had launched herself absentmindedly at her unnamed foe, a strand of saliva slipping out of her maw as her fangs had attempted to aim at his snout, fore paws brought forwards as the feisty, short tempered she-wolf's fangs had bit onto the male's lower lip, attempting to deal effective damage by dragging her maw across her foe's muzzle with the jerk of her head. Her frame would have followed her movement, lifting her forelimbs to shove at the albino's chest as she raised her upper body in the process, her goal merely to bring the brutish wolf down; which, for such a smaller she-wolf like her, would certainly be unlikely - although the she-wolf could easily be unbalanced this way.
*If her first attempt of a quickly planned attack had failed, the she-wolf would have halted in her steps, swinging her head to the side as she faced the alabaster brute. "You're lucky that you missed that, dumbass. I would have wrecked you, but I'm not done yet." Her threats were minor, but the taunts weren't the only thing to confront the male. The she-wolf, with quick strides of her paws, had twist her head in an attempt for fangs to latch onto the side of his maned throat, throaty snarls projecting into the battleground, the source being the annoyed she-wolf. I'm not letting you go! The words had threatened to spill out of her maw, but she didn't want to loosen her grip and suddenly become open to attack. Lifting a forepaw, she brought one down onto what seemed to be near the albino male's nape and shoulder, attempting to bring him down this way - although this was likely to unbalance the she-wolf rather easily, and could be deemed severely ineffective.

The fall had settled in to the lands around him wonderfully. The mornings barely held the light touch of frosts' cold paws on the grass, but the dew that clung to his pelt lay heavy all throughout the day. The prey was beginning to become more scarce obviously, but the gargantuan really had no feelings of worry for the upcoming cold seasons. For the first two years of his life he lived in permanent snow, so the mere annoyance of a crisp breeze and some light frost wasn't about to send him into a burrow for most hours of the day.
Albino paws crunched through the amber leaves that littered the ground with no precaution. He was a giant, and had no grudge towards anyone straight of the bat, so he felt no need to hide his presence. Most wolves are sane enough to not poke a bear. However, it seemed that he was in the presence of a crazy individual. "Oi, are you nose-blind, dumbass?" a young female voice called out. She was much younger than himself, and reckless at that. "This is my territory, not yours. You're not free to trespass or waddle around like the dim-witted wolf you are. So leave now, before I bite your ass, pink-nose."
That comment took the older male by surprise, and quite frankly, now he had a problem with this she-wolf. It wasn't that she had called him dim-witted, he knew that the she-wolf was simply reflecting herself. It was that she had so blatantly pointed out his difference with a threat. The beast narrowed his extraordinarily coloured eyes at the auburn pup and returned her petite growl with a roar of his own. "Your arrogance, cockiness, and all around rudeness will be your downfall pup. Now you've really pissed me off," He almost calmly stated to the young lady before he watched her attack.
She darted forwards, and he knew that he wouldn't be able to dodge whatever she was going to do, so he simply stood, his head tucked slightly to protect his neck. The petite she-wolf was just over 40cm shorter than himself, so she had to almost jump a little to pull off her attack. Needle-like teeth ripped into his bottom lip and across his muzzle as she shook herself, so Uzumati lifted up his head as far as he could, stretching her small frame off the ground further. He growled at the she-wolf while his mouth was in hers, almost laughing in his rich tones as her small paws battered at his chest. They felt like small combs, simply brushing through his chest fur with little pressure. Small droplets of blood stained his once pristine muzzle from the wounds dealt by the she-wolf, but that barely bothered him. Now, it was his turn. The giant gave his entire body a corkscrew shaped shake, attempting to remove that parasite that currently plagued him. Simply because he was so much heavier and larger than her, it shouldn't be very difficult to get her fangs out of his face.
* If he had removed the rude wolf, he would try to push his fangs into the side of her neck, shoulder, or upper back and clamp down. He would then try to force her onto the ground with his body weight while shaking his head, tearing the flesh a little more on the hold he got. He wasn't going to rip into her completely, he would just hold her on the leaf litter. The whole point was simply to get her onto the ground; to make her reconsider her idea of attacking the brute. He really didn't want to tear into the she-wolf. Lessons learned from small mistakes could save a life in the future, and this was one of those times. He was completely expecting the she-wolf not to understand his silent point, so he simply held onto his prize and growled occasionally until she reacted.
* If somehow the young she-wolf hung on, Uzumati would begin to run forward, his lumbering stride most likely not allowing the she-wolf to hang on any longer, especially with her front paws almost not on the ground. It would be almost certain that the young lady would be back on all four of her paws by now, but this would leave a large beast in motion. Slowing himself down would take a few seconds, which would leave a gargantuan alabaster window for the auburn colored she-wolf to attack, but he would tense himself as he slowed, making an attack less surprising.
OOC:Good luck to you too Kato!

Kato Rogue Wolf ββ How dare he call her a pup? The feisty little spitfire had reacted to the snarky response of the alabaster brute-like male that stood idly before her, having launched herself to focus on the male's lower lip. The autumn hued bitch had weighed all of her weak force on the other's bottom lip, triumph glittering across her tangerine gaze, that had dissolved into shock once the she wolf had found herself dangling; now depending on her jaw to save her. Of course, canines alike had been known to have strong force in their bite, but Kato was seemingly weaker than the average jaw power. A faint throaty growl escaped the she wolf's lips as she was now only standing on her hind legs as the albino male had lift his head. Her tangerine eyes had widened, enough to spot white rims at the corners of her eye, as the male had suddenly engaged in a vigorous shake. Wind was now her enemy, as it had attacked her from all sides - her eyes, screwing them shut, her limbs uselessly flailing about, and her jaw, had unfortunately unlatched from it's position, and a flicker of hope from the vulgar she-wolf had been lost.
Removed from her attacker, Kato had cracked out a brief yelp, a cry for help, but it had been cut off, as weight, and an additional pair of razor sharp fangs had lurched towards her, placed onto her throat. Maw gaping out in a silent gasp, the she-wolf was stuck in a dangerously sticky situation - she was absolutely crushed and flailing about in a senseless struggle. Thrashing her head about, her mind had been frenzied in a sense as if she were about to die, as pain sailed across the side of her maned neck as the white canine had begun to tear into flesh, breaking through skin. Panic had overwhelmed her system, resulting in absentminded snaps that would miss her target. It took a few moments for the female to calm herself - ceasing her flailing, the she-wolf's head rolled towards her foe, fury blazing in her tangerine gaze. The she-wolf's body had attempted to lurch backwards, attempting to deliver a bite faintly close to her enemy's eye, but aimed at the side of his snout - preferably, the cheek.
*If her bite had managed to score a wound on the alabaster beast as planned, the she wolf had no time to bask in her glory - she'd attempt to twist her body about, lifting her hind legs to kick at the brute's backside - a feeble attempt to get him off, but right now in this position, this was all Kato was able to do right now.
*If her bite was unable to score a wound, disappointment faced the she-wolf, but she had no time to sulk. The she - wolf would merely make up something foolproof, not very practiced, but good enough in her situation. Tilting her head skywards, she'd mimic desperate gasps for air, attempting to return her nervous breakdown by flailing about once more. If Uzumati didn't react to this, the she-wolf would merely fall limp, ceasing her movement and lowering her thrashing tail, screwing her eyes shut as her head lay uncomfortably facing the peach colored trees. Playing dead, that's what it was. The she wolf had faked losing consciousness, allowing her facials to relax slightly - but not too much for her eyes to flutter open. Attempting to grow still, for once, the she-wolf was silent.

Ivories tinted yellow removed themselves from his perfectly alabaster face as the beast shook. a relief that was! It was an odd sensation, having another's fangs stuck in your face. However, there was no time to dwell on the relief; Uzumati slammed his fangs into the side of the cocky female's neck and held her down to the leaf litter. He broke the skin, wincing as the crimson blood that flowed through the female's veins coated his muzzle and tongue. The young lady began to squirm, doing more damage to herself in the process as more blood was spilled. He locked his pink gaze with her blazing tangerine eyes, pity drowning his anger. He didn't want to hurt this she-wolf anymore, she had learned her lesson in his mind. However, it seemed that the young lady hadn't learned any manners.
She flicked her head backwards, slamming her ivories back into his face, filling his vision with her mouth. He started backwards simply as a reaction to almost getting his eye bitten into, seemingly into the second part of the younger wolf's plan. Her hind legs struck outwards, shoving his flank off to the side and cutting into his muscle slightly. It was clear that she was trying to get away, and frankly, Uzu had had enough of this lady's fangs in his face. Releasing his grip on her throat, he jumped in place, just to dislodge her teeth a little.
Hopefully she would get the message this time and let go of her grasp. He, of course, could continue on and teach her a real lesson, but he simply was not one to fight. "Learn from this, child. Be better in the future. I could've killed you. Learn your limits," Uzumati commented once she had gotten out of his face. The giant shook out his fur, flicking his tongue out a few times to try to clean the wounds on his face with little to no success. Giving her a stern glare with his pink and purple gaze, the brute flicked his tail and moved away, limping just slightly from the wound on his flank.
Youngsters these days, needing so much territory and claiming it immediately. As he moved away, he scented the air, just to make sure that he hadn't overstepped a boundary placed by the she-wolf. And there it was, fresh. He shrugged to himself as he lumbered past it; he must've missed it in his appreciation for autumn. Oh well.

@kato Post OneParagraph 4 (where attack begins): +1 Clearness ~ attack is understood, writing is legible, +1 Fairness ~uses words such as "attempted" to allow the opponent to counter or dodge, and +1 Realism ~ maneuvers realistically. Paragraph 5: +1 Clearness, +1 Fairness, +1 Realism. Total: 6 bonus points @uzumati Post OneParagraph 4 (where action begins): -1 Powerplaying ~ You acknowledged the attack from your opponent but did not address the affects such as pain, which would hinder your character. Instead, they were ignored and you proceeded with an attack that didn't account for the wounds. -1 Unrealsim ~ if an opponent is latched onto your wolf, shaking in your described manner would actually be dangerous and could damage your wolf. Shaking while jaws are attached to Uzu's face would inhibit his attack because of the limit it puts on vision, not to mention it would cause additional scarring. These factors weren't accounted for. +1 Clearness ~ despite the unrealism, the attack is legible and your opponent can easily respond to it. Paragraph 5: +1 Clearness ~ all maneuvers are legible and easily understood by the reader, +1 Fairness ~ using words such as "attempt" and "try" to give the opponent the opportunity to counter or defend themselves. +1 Realism ~ applying your character's natural advantages [having a +3 Force] appropriately. Paragraph 6: +1 Clearness ~ all maneuvers are legible and understandable, +1 Fairness ~ clearly denoting an availability for opponent to attack or defend themselves, -1 Unrealism ~ the maneuver isn't quite realistic. He would not be able to run forward with the weight of another wolf countering him. He might be able to push forward, but he would never gain enough speed to need to slow down. Total: 3 bonus points @kato Post TwoParagraph 1: +1 Fairness ~ allowing attack to end after being countered, acknowledging loss. Paragraph 2: +1 Realism ~ acknowledging and reacting to the pain and mental effects of the attack, +1 Clearness ~ attack is dealt clearly and understandably, +1 Fairness ~using words such as "attempt," allowing her attack to vary based on the opponent's desires come the next post. Paragraph 3: +1 Realism, +1 Fairness, -1 Clearness ~ the word back-side insinuates she is kicking his back. In her position, it would be impossible to do this, but the actual maneuver of the attack insinuates she's kicking under his stomach. It's a bit hard to understand, so just be careful with wording. Paragraph 4: +1 Clearness Total: 6 bonus points @uzumati Post Two+1 Realism ~ reacts appropriately and acknowledges opponent's attack, taking the hit instead of dodging. Total: 1 bonus point Overall, I encourage both of you to try to limit the "If*" things because, in the future, they can be seen as powerplaying. Sometimes, it limits the options of the opponent. It's a way to control the result of the battle without controlling the other character. Although your if-else scenarios didn't borderline powerplaying, getting in the habit of doing it can lead to trouble. Using if-else scenarios should really only be used in terms of "if her attack failed, she'd try to..." and so on, but even then, you'll have to keep coming up with else's for every attack. It's best to just say "she attempted to do this, hoping to blah," etc, and then let the opponent do what they will with that info to avoid any limitation. Uzu, I think the main reason you lacked the bonus points was because you lacked content. Kato attempted a lot more attacks, more detail, and therefore had a lot more to score. This result isn't a direct reflection of your abilities, since you are a great writer and roleplayer, but for next year on AoTPR, plan to raise your fists a bit more and give more detail so the judges have more points to distribute!! (:
Total Bonus Points Gained Overall @kato ; 12 @uzumati ; 3
