The stunning ivory bitch batted her pale eyes, satisfied with the supposed new travelling companion. Ophelia had passed the cave before, but wasn't particularly interested in the area she visited before due to a few aggressive wolves spoiling her comfort in the flourishing, bright and formerly welcoming area. Now, she assumed that the cave was not so occupied as before with the familiar brutes. "Sounds like a good plan, Miss Ophelia. If you know the way, lead on." stated the polite ashen male, a smile drifting across his onyx lips.
She admired how gentlemanly and polite this brute was, her stoic expression seeming to blossom into a smile, as the she-wolf let her slender, seated figure rise from the barren land, her paw-pads beginning to cringe with discomfort of the land that she was unsatisfied with. "Let's go, then." The perky words rolled off the ivory bitch's tongue as she rotated towards her well known direction of where the chosen area would be, giving the slow thrash of her lengthy tail as she began to venture forth the long way to Clearings Cave. Her eyes never left Fubuki, watching him with their silver gray hues, watching the large gentle beast as he pondered what exactly he wanted to do. His answer was something nice, Gulls did sound rather good at the moment, especially when they would prove a challenge. Lilia wanted to show off for Fubuki, especially because he was someone rather important to her. That and she felt like maybe he was different and thought she held potential, unlike other wolves she had encountered previously. Looking around, she spotted some gulls sitting around on the rocks, pecking away at the cracks to catch any bugs or small piece of food that they could get too. Moving forward, she placed her paws carefully upon the surface of each rock, making sure not to make any noise. Her muscles coiled upon her shoulders as she cautiously brought herself closer, making sure that she didn't make so much noise so that she wouldn't startle the gulls and have them fly away. Looking backwards towards Fubuki for a split second, she would focus once more on the prey she was after, picking out the fattest of the gulls.
Knowing that the time would be right, she darted forward, swiftly moving over the small patch of grass that was below her and bringing herself closer to the gulls rapidly, causing them to squawk and start to fly away. Her target was starting to take off into the sky, so she sped up, bringing herself to leap up in the air and grip onto the gulls upper leg, dragging it downwards as she landed on the rocks flatly. She had brought herself rather high up in the air, so the impact vibrated through her legs. But right now, she was needing to kill the gull that was frantically trying to get away from her. Stepping on his wings, she unhooked herself from its leg and snapped its neck rather quickly. Looking towards the flock, Gulls weren't exactly the smartest birds, as they had positioned themselves a little ways away, but not far enough away that she could probably try for a second kill. Looking towards Fubuki, she gave a small smile to him. "Sorry for showing off a little bit," She said with a shy smile and a look that cast her eyes downwards. She had just wanted to prove to him that she was able to hunt by herself, and show him how impressive her hunting skills were.

Fubuki watched with a bright smile as Lilia had caught a gull within her jaws. He was proud of her and even captivated by her. She truly was amazing. A bubble of laughter escaped him at her words as she gave a shy smile. He shook his head with a grin before padding up to her. Her eyes were cast downwards and Fubuki just couldn't have that. Gently with his muzzle he tilted her own up so he could see that pretty face once more. "Never be sorry for being amazing." He smiled, inky tipped tail swaying lazily behind him. Suddenly his smile turned into a cheeky grin as he all but sprinted to a flock of gulls that had again recollected after hovering away, some scavenging for food. He gave a bark as they once again scattered and fled. He laughed, turning back to Lilia. Sure he hadn't caught anything, but he liked the fun that came with such a serious act such as hunting. .: Time Skip :. It had been a while since Fubuki had started traveling with Lilia, and he loved every moment of it. Each second he spent with her felt like he was falling harder and harder for her. Each waking moment he wanted to see her smile and each sleeping moment he loved nothing more than to feel her pelt against his as they curled up in make shift dens or even under the stars. He dare say that he loved her and every day he spent with her just made it stronger. He wanted a perfect life for them, and that meant settling down. With a smile, he lightly nudged the smaller female with his nose. "Lilia?" he'd wait for a response before stepping back to look at her straight in the eye, crystal against topaz. A serious expression plastered on his face. "I was thinking and well.." a smile broke through the serious expression, he really couldn't help the grin, he was honestly excited albeit nervous to ask. "I want to spend my life with you. I really do love you and I think I want to settle down with you." Smile turned sheepish, he could definitely tell Lilia was the one for him though.
Addressed: @lilia OOC: Not sure if you wanna move them to move to Lub in next post but whatever is okay with me c: hope this is okay enough to work with, sorry it kinda sucks~

Losing his females had been hard on poor Theon. The male had come back from his hunting, sat down in front of the den, and waited. And waited. And waited. None of them had returned from their hunting. After three hours the male had tracked each and every one of their scents, worry pounding in his chest, but all of them were untraceable, disappearing into nothingness at one point or another. The worst of it had come with Little Lian's abandonment. Why had she left? Had he been an inadequate leader? A bad friend? Perhaps he'd scared her off. Initially, Theon tried to play it off like he didn't care. Only, all of them still had favors. How was he supposed to pay them back when they were gone? Letting go of this had taken an excruciatingly long time. He'd followed and re-followed Lian's trail, whining with frustration as the passing days weakened it. He did the same with Cassandra and Dana. He stayed until each of their scents grew stale, until his brain could no longer seem to remember them. Within minutes he had lost his pack, but it took months for Theon to get over it. The constant solitude didn't help much either, and the male snapped more than once at the pesky birds that taunted him from the clouds. One morning the canine woke up, his wounds long since healed, and he hunted himself breakfast. His voice rough from lack of use, the male lifted his head in the air and suddenly released a single, parting howl. And, before he could stop himself from doing it, Theon left. [ EXIT to SOMEWHERE ]

Thalia crouched low, haunches sweeping the floor, ears forward and alert. Her amber eyes peered around a boulder, through the rush to several yards further out, where a hare sat nibbling on the plant life. She licked her lips hungrily, and for just a moment the gnawing pit in her stomach was background to the meal right in front of her, the fragrance of it heavy on her tongue. 'Come on,' she thought. 'Closer....'
Settling even lower, she inched forward, paw after paw landing soundlessly on the grass. The hare continued to graze, unaware of the danger. With a sweep of her tail, she pushed off with her hind legs and burst from her cover, headed straight towards her target. Startled, the hare turned to run, but a few quick maneuvers ended with it's bloodied neck in her jaws, twitching as the life drained out of it. Returning to her cover, the she-wolf began to devour her catch.
It'd been several months since she'd told her little siblings goodbye and left her river-bound home. She'd lingered in the general area at first, but eventually hunger had pushed her east, further and further into these unfamiliar lands. As she slept under trees and cliff hangs and tucked away hundreds of miles in her pelt, the hot summer days began to cool, settling firmly into autumn. Falling leaves began to drift in the air, green tipped with orange and red, and for the first time since her departure, Thalia had started wishing for other bodies to curl up to during those chilly nights. And not just for warmth, perhaps.
Blinking suddenly, she looked down at the remains of her meal, bones and tufts of fur spread between her forelegs. Gone? Already? "Well," she chuckled to herself, "that was a little quick..." But it only made sense. It'd been several days since her last meal, the scraps and marrow left over from a deer carcass. It was a decent find, though she was hoping for something more substantial. Luckily, the hare would give her a bit of strength to hunt down an actual deer.
Lifting her hips up and back, Thalia stretched out her back and front legs, yawning, and shook herself to standing, taking a good look at her surroundings. She'd come far from the forests; the land here was mostly flat, studded with medium to fairly large rocks as if they had been carelessly scattered around. To the east, she could see waves in the distance. She flicked her ears and laid down once more, finding a niche in the grass. The she-wolf had been on the move for a long time. It be good to rest here for a while...

A black she-wolf trotted along a dusty forest trail, closely followed by a younger wolf with a limp in her gait. The female turned to look at her companion, her honey-golden eyes livid, tail lashing as if it were a snake. "So, what do you have to say for yourself?" The yearling's ears burned, and she looked away. "I’m… I’m sorry, Noor." A low growl rumbled in the bitch’s throat. "For what? Abandoning the hunt? Or perhaps costing the pack a meal?” Holding her focus for a second longer, Noor finally sighed, her burning gaze softening somewhat. "Look. Besides the blatant disrespect you showed your father and I, you seriously could've gotten hurt." "But--" "But nothing. You're a promising hunter, Thalia, I’ll be the first to say it. But you'd die before you were able to take down a healthy bull on your own. My god, think before you attempt something that risky, that idiotic. Think!...”
Slowly, Thalia’s eyes blinked open. She lifted her head to survey the sky, tracking the fast-drifting clouds. Behind them, the sun had moved a little more west. She’d been asleep for a couple of hours, but her mind thrummed with memories, not dreams. She didn’t miss her family so much; at least, there was no aching sense of loss. Most wolves left their home eventually, after all. But she thought of them quite often. She wondered how they were faring, if her little siblings were making the same mistakes as she did, figuring out the same tricks to pull on their parents when they were in a tough spot. Not that there were many, though. The Alphas had leaned towards an authoritarian rule of the pack, and their offspring had been no exception. There was always a schedule, a right way to do things, and if a wolf fell out of line they were quickly punished, and shunned by the rest of the pack thereafter. It was exhausting, trying to do every little thing right.
Freedom had felt like relief... and then, like quiet, like stillness. Gone was the familiar chatter of her packmates around the common, the family hunts, replaced by chirping insects and bubbling creeks, the sound of her paws trampling the foliage. Sometimes it felt a little too quiet.
I really should find a pack, she thought. ...eventually. For the moment she was content to wander these unclaimed lands, and her curiosity won out over her fears. It was very different from home; back there, there were vast swathes of rich, wood-dense territory, all occupied by one force or another. Thalia'd had to narrowly skirt or outright trespass through claimed lands to eventually end up here, rogue territory. The hunting didn’t seem all bad so far, but she hadn’t caught so much as a whiff of elk or deer up in these flatlands so far. Perhaps they were already migrating to lower grounds.
She thought about the coastline, about the wooded area she spied in the west, and made her descent. Maybe she'd return, but for the moment the wolf set her sights on finding prey.
