"Don't mind the blood." Duva turned, brown eyes landing on a dark male wolf who smelled like the pack. "You're bordering a sensitive area. If you're here to disturb the peace, it's in your best interest that I ask you to leave. Otherwise, your alphess will be here shortly," the male said. Gathering from the wolf's stance and confident - if expressionless - demeanour that he must be of high rank, Duva lowered his gaze. His stomach fluttered. After wandering for so long, he was finally standing at the borders of a pack. "I'm Ebony, your beta. Nice to meet you."
"Ebony," Duva repeated under his breath. Wouldn't do to forget the beta's name. New scents hit his nose as more rogues approached. The silver wolf watched, studying the flurry of different pelts and faces. So many wolves.
"My name is Blake. Nice to meet you as well, Beta Ebony," said a nearby male.
"Nece..." added a chocolate wolf, smiling politely.
"I'm Kato," said another female who just arrived. Some of the others looked around expectantly.
"Uh," began the small male, offering a smile to anyone who happened to look at him, "my name's Duva. Hi." He sat down and made eye contact with Ebony, quickly blinking and averting his gaze respectfully. His ears turned slightly outwards with nerves. Duva wondered if he would be friends with any of these wolves in a moon cycle's time or whether he would be alone again.

"I'm Ebony, your beta. Nice to meet you." The brindled pair burst from the nearby brush, trotting briskly towards the gathering crowd as quickly as their limbs would allow them. It'd been just in the brink of time - they'd been a bit tardy, but not enough for the Alphess to appear - the beta had barely made his first appearance. With eager, attentive ears, he listened to the beta's introduction, unable to contain a slight playful swish of his tail. The rogueish whispered rumors surrounding Lubrusca had all been true. Luscubra's rich lands were beautiful, positively brimming with life, a paradise for two scraggly foreign strays. They were supposedly an open-minded, accepting group, welcome to wolves of all walks and backgrounds. Softly, he slowed to a halt, gently pressing his side on Elenor's opposite one to offer some brief semblance of balance. It had been a brutal journey, especially with re-learning walking on three limbs, but she'd put in a wonderful amount of effort thus far. Slowly, he lowered his haunches, taking care to keep close in a slight assurance towards his fiery three legged friend.
Quietly, he took in the crowd that had gathered, all bright-eyed and brimming with hope. A dark marbled pup caught attention, closely pressed against the pelt of a wolf large enough to be a bear. Her mouth jerked in a circular motion as she threw her chocolate head back in an odd imitation of a howl. A small, friendly smile graced his features - he adored pups small, playful oddities - as he thumped his tail in a welcoming arch. Quite the charmer, he thought, happily recalling puppyish, foolish pastimes. The other wolves appeared just as friendly, with sweet, wide eyed smiles and swishing tails. Two white she wolves also graced the premises, but the resemblance ended right at color. One, with stunning white and blue eyes, appeared slightly agitated. No, agitated wasn't the correct word, anxious; numbers must have made her uneasy. On the other hand, the other she wolf's eagerness radiated, excitement apparent with each wide brimmed smile.
Introductions began. The first to speak was a young mottled brown male, greeting the beta with a welcoming introduction, dipping his tawny head in respect. Next came a speckled brown she wolf, simply offering her name in response, casual and collected. Her tannish head twisted towards the other rogues after she'd finished, eyes a deep amber, curious for her fellow rogues responses. Another, a white male with grey streaks, offered a chipper greeting, tail swishing gently from side-to-side as he approached the crowd. Three males, four females; well, four and five, counting him and El. A large amount of competition, but in the same breath, a large amount of potential allies. He wouldn't have any issue befriending any of the rogues that he'd seen thus far; all seemed amiable, friendly enough for his tastes. Not a bared fang or curled lip among the lot. They all would be wonderful company, a welcome relief from the ferocious brutes they'd met in Muddy Pines. It'd be a bit like family, even, the dappled brown male recalled, quietly recollecting the companion that he'd traveled with for so long; oh, he'd missed him so.
It was his turn now. "I'm Dante." He barked, his tone friendly, eager. "And this is my friend," he gestured playfully, gently bopping her cheek with his nose. "Elenor."

Snow Rose "I will always be the optimist, the hoper of far-flung hopes and the dreamer of improbable dreams." The beauty had quickly become entranced by the coppery tang that drifted past her nasals. The scent was frighteningly familiar, as if she should've known what it was. Snow Rose was definitely intrigued, but her curiosity would have to wait for later, as a distinctly male voice pierced the air. "Good day!" Snow Rose let her rose-white cranium shift to she a darker hued male approach, a chipper attitude clinging to his aura. A bright smile overcame Rose's features at the sight of such a warm presence that stood among the chilled air, it certainly was a contrast. "Hello there," she answered with a polite nod of her head, plush tail beginning to sway again as she greeted the stranger. However, there exchange did not last for too long, as a new, more distinct scent filled the air. A pack-wolf, male. Snow Rose let her golden optics fall upon the larger figure as he strolled into the area, and instantly she could tell that something was off about his mood.
She had seen plenty of expressions like this before, thanks to her experience, she could practically taste the guilt, regret, sorrow. It was an unsure mixture, but it was enough to concern her healer's instincts. "Don't mind the blood," were the first deep words he spoke with an incredibly casual tone. But the scent that she had caught early sudden snapped into place, as she did indeed identify it to be blood. Snow Rose couldn't help but frown for a spilt second, an unusual expression for her, but it was shortly replaced with a gentle smile as she approached the ebony male.
"You're bordering a sensitive area. If you're here to disturb the peace, it's in your best interest that I ask you to leave. Otherwise, your alphess will be here shortly. I'm Ebony, your beta. Nice to meet you," His next few words only added to Snow Rose's curiosity, but other than that, she couldn't help but chuckle slightly as she noticed how fitting his name was to his personality. She gave a friendly dip of her head in greeting. "A pleasure to meet you, Ebony," she spoke with her usual silvery tone, giving the Beta a small but warm smile. Snow Rose couldn't help but notice his intent gaze seemed to be stuck on her. What a funny male. She merely tilted her head in question before speaking up, "Is there something wrong, Beta Ebony?" She asked as politely as possible, her tone slightly worried as she realised that she might've done something wrong. Hopefully she hadn't somehow offended the dark male, as the last thing she ever wanted to do was make someone think negatively about her, someone else or the world around them.

Wish paced nervously back and forth, just inside Lubruscan borders. He could smell Ferus around, he was pretty sure if he howled here, it would be Ferus who came to get him, not Lubrusca. But he sat down and set the mouse at his feet, and howled anyway. His only hope was that these wolves would either be from Lubrusca or hear him out and take him to them. Though based off of the stories his mother had told him, they weren't the most accepting pack wolves in the area. "It's times like these when I really hope mom's stories aren't true," He said aloud. "And when I say really, I mean REALLY."

Mochi gave a small nudge to the marbled pups small body with a playful grin as she plopped down next to him. "Wha-at d-d-d-does ta-that do?" Macha's sweet stutter inquired the howl. A smile spread across Mochi's handsome features. "Alerts someone we're here." He said semi-slow so the pup could read his lips better. And sure enough, wolves started to fill the borders. None came up to the polar-bear directly which he all too didn't mind about, after all he had the adorable pup to keep watchful of. He wondered if there were any pups in these pack lands that Macha could befriend. He really hoped so, it would be good for her after all. After what seemed like no time at all, a smaller dark male came sweeping in, face void of emotion. "Don't mind the blood," he stated. This kid's seen some shit... Mochi thought, eyebrows furrowing. Quickly he stood up, encouraging Macha to do so aswell as he slowly approached the, what he presumed, pack wolf. Upon approaching the group, Mochi's jaw sort of dropped. The she-wolf that was in the pines with him all those months ago was here! He decided against a 'hello' or even acknowledgement just incase she didn't remember them, and quickly checked to see if Macha was close by. "You're bordering a sensitive area. If you're here to disturb the peace, it's in your best interest that I ask you to leave. Otherwise, your alphess will be here shortly." the dark male once again said. Mochi's head tilted slightly, disturb the peace? The male looked rather worn out and Mochi couldn't help but feel sorry for him. " I'm Ebony, your beta. Nice to meet you." The large male gave a dip of his head respectfully to the smaller. He wouldn't state his name, for Ebony hadn't asked for it. Instead he's sit on his haunches with his tail wrapped around his paws. Already wolves were starting to introduce themselves to eachother and the Beta - probably trying to gain a head start. No-one was questioning the sad state of the Beta - well except one. A sweet female had asked kindly, after stating it was a pleasure to meet him, if there was something wrong. She had asked even before introducing herself and Mochi's cute boyish features grew into a smile. She was caring, putting the Beta's state before her own name, unlike everyone here. Although the polar-bear like wolf was part of 'everyone' he could still appreciate the kindness that radiated off the ivory-ash-and-sandy pelted she-wolf. Mochi gave a playful nudge to his adopted daughter Macha, before his slanted brown eyes scanned the group of rogues before him - growing bigger and bigger. His eyes landed on the not-so stranger of the little fox-like white female, who was staring back just as awkwardly. She offered only a startled half-smirk that Mochi returned with a small awkward nod in her direction. Well... This is going to be interesting.

| Alphess Ventus of Lubrusca | Ventus had brought herself rather quickly to the borders, in hopes that she would find many worthy prospects that would fit the Lubrusca Pack. Trotting through the foliage, she brought herself towards the scent of Ebony. She was pleased that the male had been patrolling the borders, and had probably quickly responded to the howls. He was a good Beta, and she expected nothing more from him. Her small body brought itself alongside his ebony fur, looking over the wolves with radiant orange eyes. "I'm Ventus, the Alphess of Lubrusca. Please state your names, why you are here, and why you are worthy of being a Lubrusca pack member," She said, looking towards all of them with a challenging gaze.
She wanted them to prove to her that there was something unique, something that she should look for in them, and something that she could hold them too. She wanted wolves that were not here simply to become part of a pack, but as part of a family. And as part of that family, they would have to be wolves that were willing to do something for that family. To support it and cherish it as she herself did. Love for pack members was something uncommon in some packs. Especially packs like Ferus. She shivered slightly at the thought of the malicious wolves that had invaded her territory and killed each and every member of her pack. Ventus was nothing but a shell of her former self. Her pups and the idea that maybe her pack would be whole once again seemed to fill some of the emptiness that she felt after the battle.
But there was still that aching pain lying there. Something that would never be able to be fixed. Ventus couldn't mend her heart in one day, nor in the span of a couple months. She didn't think that she would ever be able to do something like that. Not in the next lifetime it would seem. She wouldn't let her sadness show however. Not around her pups, nor her pack. She needed to be strong. For their sake. Flicking her tail once , then twice, she would patiently wait for the replies of the wolves standing in front of her.

White and purple hues were kept low, staring solemnly at the ground as she trailed after her alphess and Kenai. She never could form any sort of bond with the white dame, much less would she want to. Her personality was just plain cold, and sometimes Prim herself questioned Kenai's purpose within Lubrusca. To spread more sorrow? She was mildly helpful, but sometimes a bit irritating to be around. The adolescent huffed to herself, bringing her gaze up toward Ventus who was now slowing, the scents of rogues alarmingly strong. Prim took her stance behind Ventus to the left, assumingly away from Kenai. It seemed to be the hardest thing for her to crack a serious observant face, but as soon as her pretty expression broke through the tree's, she would appear a bit more approachable like a fine young lady. Why the hell were there so many rogues around? With the amount present, well there might as well be a second war, and Lubrusca would be no more surely. Prim swallowed down that horrible thought, fur bristling slightly as she kept herself extremely aware. If anyone decided to attack, she would have to protect Ventus, even if she was small. Nevertheless, her eyes would not show her concern, instead simply gazing 'fondly' over their wide array of options. We don't need any of you mutts, she would think to herself. Ventus would give her usual speech, something that was sort of familiar to herself, of course months ago. Prim lifted her head a little higher, not as high as the leader, but enough to state that she obviously had some power over the rogues, for now. She cringed inwardly at the thought that she would soon be less than even the new omegas, just a old pup of Lubrusca that could not be called pup or anything of use, though she tried so hard to do. Six males, 5 females. An almost decent number, but Lubrusca didn't need more females. Their only male, spare Ventus' pups, was Ebony, and if they wanted to rebuild their army they would need to reproduce eventually. Not me. Never. Finally, her gaze would inspect each and every individual closely, rating them in her mind. A mottled brown male stood happily next to a she-wolf, a fourth limb on her seemingly invisible. Both of them were unneeded. They already had a Parker, and 3 legs couldn't help with anything. Her observant gaze then drifted towards another pair, an adult white male roughly the size of a young bear alongside a charcoal pup. Something seemed off about her, but Prim hadn't the care to really ask. They didn't need more oversized pups unless they would be helpful. The male, on the other hand, could be used as some strength, both in any future conflicts and hunting. Another brown male (Blake) seemed well tempered, perhaps of some use. Off to the side was a darker brown she-wolf (Nece), although she seemed to look through everyone despite her kind outlook. We don't need more cry babies, Prim would think irritably to herself. All the same, perhaps she could be put to work as well. Similarly, a pretty white female was among the many, looking a bit nervous. She should be put on the backburner; a potential option if they needed it. All the others were average, a bit too perky or too small or something. Quite frankly Prim took no interest in any of them. She just wanted to get the process over with and return to the commons.

Blake stayed silent as a few other wolves introduced themselves to the Beta as well, simply waiting for the main attraction to arrive. In only a few minutes, said Alphess arrived. The small she-wolf, the colour of the changing leaves now stood beside the Beta, and two other forms approached from inside the territory as well. Something struck the young male as odd about her scent, but he put that thought on hold as the Alphess began to address the rogues. "I'm Ventus, the Alphess of Lubrusca. Please state your names, why you are here, and why you are worthy of being a Lubrusca pack member," Ventus spoke to all of the rogues gathered. That's what it was! Though faint, the spitfire Alphess smelled of milk. Blake's tail wagged even harder as he thought about pups, and looking after them, and the joy they brought him. However, he also realized that he couldn't just blurt out that he wanted to take care of pups, that would be odd, and the queens he had encountered on his travels were extremely protective of their pups. That, paired with whatever ordeal had occurred on these grounds a few months ago would not bode well. Gathering the word's he wanted to speak, Blake made sure no other wolves were talking before he voiced in his soft tones, "Good day, Ventus. My name is Blake and I am here to seek entrance to your pack. I have a decent amount of herbal knowledge, little combat knowledge, and I love to take care of pups." He shrunk his posture slightly when he spoke of the pups. Flicking his cobalt gaze upwards to the Alphess, he gauged her reaction, trying to see if he had overstepped his boundaries by hinting at her litter. It wasn't as if the fact was secret, the scent of milk could be smelled by all that knew how to identify it, but bringing it up was a gamble. Dipping his head as he took a step backwards, Blake took the time to look at the other form that had followed the Alphess. It was a young she-wolf, seemingly looking over the large gathering of rogues. When her eyes caught her's, he dipped his head in greeting, manners telling him to respect the young wolf, but not to speak again. Now was the time for others to speak, to introduce themselves to the Alphess. Jeopardizing that would be about as bad for his chances of getting in as attacking one of the rogues around him. Now was the time to wait, simply stay quiet and try to learn some names. Alphess Ventus @ebony @prim @kenai @alltherogues!

Surprisingly, Kenai had enjoyed the jog very much. The Alphess had seemed in quite the hurry to get here, which was fine by Kenai as it had been a very freeing run. Prim had come along, but the white female hadn't really paid her much attention. As the trio breached the trees and ascended upon the borders, the Yukon wolf's orange gaze raked over the assembly. There were quite a bit of new faces and quite a bit of new smells, causing her nose to wrinkle. She didn't feel disappointed or annoyed, as she'd expected this much. Not to mention that Lubrusca was overflowing with pups at the moment and a few more adults wouldn't do anyone harm. Well, mostly adults. Kenai broke her apathetic expression to squint accusingly at the little black runt standing beside the fluffier version of Joktan. Except you know, this one wasn't dead. One of Kenai's ears angled themselves towards Ventus as she addressed the newcomers, but her eyes were wandering about. She temporarily looked towards Ebony, a familiar face, but soon lost interest. Thankfully it didn't take long for someone to speak up. He seemed fine at first, but Kenai rolled her eyes when he mentioned the pups. Of course he had to mention the parasites. The female's good mood dissolved to make way for her usual emptiness. Unimpressed and no longer interested, Kenai glanced towards Ventus and waited for all of this to be over with. Catching her breath, Elly would take a seat next to her close companion, fur brushing slightly against his, though she took no notice of it. They had been closer, like when she bobbed in and out of consciousness while he carried her to safety. Elenor concealed her smile at the thought, shaking away the memories so that she may bring her undivided attention towards those around them. There were 9 rogues total, including the duo, although Elly half doubted that they would all get accepted. Of course, unless there was the event that Lubrusca needed the numbers. Elenor hesitantly took in the scent of blood and... Ferus. Eyes flashed at the thought, the memory of her escorting Flint to the Ferus borders all too fresh. She pressed closer to Dante for a moment, eyes warily gliding over the borders. If Ferus was here, Flint was too, and the savages had committed some terrible crime. The three legged she-wolf hadn't taken much thought into the idea of greeting the Beta until others spoke up, offering sweet hello's and providing their names. Dante seemed to have it all covered, though, politely barking out his name as well as hers. No effort on her part it seemed, although her eyes grew a bit wider as the playful male's nose pressed her cheek, or should she dare say kiss. As soon as the moment came, it passed, the oddly colored rogue letting her expression settle. Oh, he's just being himself. Good old Dante, she would think to herself, dismissing the incident. In time, a brightly colored she-wolf would join alongside Ebony, two other females making their way towards the wolves. Elly sat up a little taller, only to seem more formal, almost immediately registering that this was the alphess. " I'm Ventus, the Alphess of Lubrusca. Please state your names, why you are here, and why you are worthy of being a Lubrusca pack member," she would say, her eyes fierce but seemingly a bit excited. Maybe not, but nevertheless Elenor knew what to do. First to speak up was a mottled brown male by the name of Blake. The rogue mentioned puppies, and Elenor couldn't help but look up toward Dante. Not because she wanted puppies, oh no, she new Dante was just an overgrown puppy himself, and she couldn't just let him get all rallied up over the thought. Not if she wanted the both of them to get accepted. Elly was the next to speak, standing up on her three legs somewhat confidently. " Hello Alphess," Elenor would dip her head. " My name is Elenor, and this is my companion Dante," she would flick her tail towards the male, shooting him a warning gaze not to speak, though her expression stayed calm. " We too seek a forever home in which we can grow and prosper with wolves the equivalent of family." the words all rolled off her tongue freshly, though family was something she was more hesitant about. Elenor was never good at making friends. " Dante is an excellent hunter, worth the acceptance into Lubrusca should you consider him, and I," fuck i'm good at nothing. Her gaze would drop to the floor as she thought for a second. " I solemnly admit that I may not be as good of a hunter or fighter anymore, but I am eager to learn how to hunt with three legs and I can be put to any other sort of work upon request. " Elenor would again sit, her eyes shyly glancing up towards Ventus almost with a pleading twinkle. Should the event come that only Dante was accepted, Elenor would just have to deal with it. He deserved a home within Lubrusca more than her.

Shortly after they'd finished their introductions, a fiery colored she-wolf worked her way onto the scene, eventually settling at Ebony's side. Two she wolves trailed at her copper heels, quietly taking in the mass that had gathered. First came a grey and white yearling, bristling as she weaved her way towards her Alpha's side. Slowly, the she wolf took in the mass of wolves around her, regarding the lot with a wary, judgmental glare as she studied their face, their features, their (presumed) capabilities. For all her attentions, she appeared unsatisfied with every wolf she came across. The white she wolf that followed her closely didn't provide a positive outlook either. Ultimately, she appeared unimpressed and uninterested in every rogue, briefly glancing with gleaning, quick eyes and a foul expression. Ellie pulled herself up immediately, her brindled head drawn high at attention. Dante granted her the same courtesy, neatly carrying himself in that same semi formal fashion. Luckily for them. the pair of sullen young she wolves had no say in whether they were accepted. According to Ellie, all they had to do was impress the wolf they saw before them. "I'm Ventus, the Alphess of Lubrusca." She spoke smoothly, her eyes brightly fierce, boldly challenging the lot of them to dare speak out of turn. "Please state your names, why you are here, and why you are worthy of being a Lubrusca pack member." Her eyes held a hint of excitement as she spoke, unable to conceal, a slight, wavering sense of hope as she regarded the first that offered his introductions. Blake introduced himself as chipper as ever, citing a decent amount of herbal knowledge and a love for children for as to why he would be a good candidate. Happily, the dappled male flashed a friendly grin in his direction; the two actually had a decent amount in common! If both of them managed to work their way in, he'd be sure to take the time to befriend the mottled brown male. They were the next to speak. El rose confidently, greeting the Alphess with a polite dip of her head. Dante stood alongside her, bowing his tawny head in a brief, respectful greeting. "Hello Alphess. My name is Elenor, and this is my companion Dante." Her tail brushed him briefly in a subtle, almost imperceptible warning to remain silent. "We too seek a forever home in which we can grow and prosper with wolves the equivalent of family. Dante is an excellent hunter, worth acceptance into Lubrusca should you consider him and I-" Her voice trailed off for a moment as she contemplated what she could possibly say next. Gently, he brushed his tail against the back of her leg in a silent assurance. He knew more then anyone the brindled she wolf was capable of more then she'd imagined."I admit that I may not be as good of a hunter or fighter anymore, but I am eager to learn how to hunt with three legs, and I can be put to any other sort of work on request." With that, the pair dropped back down on their haunches, their speech concluded. As the Alphess pressed on, the dappled male continued the gesture, gently stroking the back of her one brindled leg with his tail. Were he to be accepted, and not his three legged companion, he'd decline without a heartbeat of hesitation. All he wanted was to assure her of that. While a few more rogues introduced themselves, Duva took a moment to look at Ebony and the other rogues and familiarise himself with names and faces. Soon enough, the sound of more wolves approached. Three pack wolves, including a dawn-coloured female with a confident walk, emerged from the trees. Duva's heart sped up and his ears pricked as she spoke. "I'm Ventus, the Alphess of Lubrusca. Please state your names, why you are here, and why you are worthy of being a Lubrusca pack member." He took a deep breath as the alpha finished speaking. There would only be one first impression to make. He had to say what he meant to say and express himself truthfully. The wolf who had introduced himself as Blake spoke first, mentioning herbs and pups, while Duva fiddled with the grass beneath his front paws, deciding how to describe himself and his motivations. Both the young bicolour female and the pale-furred female who stood next to Ventus didn't look very happy about being here. As his brown eyes rested on them for a moment, Duva wondered whether there had been trouble with rogues in the past - or perhaps the pair could be having a bad day? - and kept his head down respectfully. A wolf called Elenor began to speak for herself and a male called Dante. Duva tried to pay attention as Elenor described her companion's hunting skills and her own willingness to work despite lacking a limb. He felt his heart go out to her; he had no idea what it felt like to have three legs, but he knew what it was like to be out of your depth. When the chocolate female had finished, Duva glanced around, making sure no one else was starting to speak, and slowly stood, just to double check he wasn't interrupting anyone. The silver and grey wolf cleared his throat and turned to the Lubrusca wolves. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Alphess Ventus, Beta Ebony, and Lubrusca wolves," he began, nodding at the alpha, beta, and unknown females one by one. "My name is Duva. I came here to find a family of wolves who support and rely on each other, who I can support and rely on in turn. I can hunt and run for a long time without tiring, so I could scout the borders or bring in food. I suppose I don't know what your pack values and needs, so I cannot tell you whether I'm worthy of being a member of this pack. But if you'll have me, I swear I'll do everything in my power to benefit Lubrusca." Duva sat down again, gaze skittering up from his lowered head to try to gauge the reactions of the Lubrusca wolves. He honestly didn't even remember the first thing he'd said and hoped he had expressed what he wanted to.

A young she-wolf by the name of Tasha moved her strong build through the vast territory of trees and grass. She was lost and alone, wandering about from territory to territory with no companions. Tasha was old enough to fend for herself but the damsel craved the touch of another wolf, the feel of pack life. Her paws hit the grass making a soft crunching sound with each step, and her nose focused on picking up smells from other pack. Though she didn't focus on meeting other wolves, the young lady focused on keeping out on other pack territories. She stopped wandering for a moment, and used her back leg to scratch at her grey brownish fur. Satisfied, Tasha continued to move through the green, but stopped right in her tracks. It was a scent border the female noticed quite quickly, and it seemed she was in the right place. A stranger brute a while back had told her that a pack known as Lubrusca Pack, lived in a large area of grass and trees, and prey was bountiful here. Yet, Tasha didn't dare cross the border for she may have been big for a wolf, boundaries still needed to be respected. She wouldn't risk punishment from a powerful alpha male and his pack, to be mauled for crossing into their territory. The young Eurasian wolf knew she would be taking a big step in asking to join, but she didn't have anything else to lose. Taking a couple of deep breaths, mustering up all the strength she could. Tasha lifted her head to the sky letting out a large howl, letting the pack of this territory know she was present. Now all there was to do is wait, and hope for acceptance. "Here goes nothing." she mutters almost silently.
Suddenly, Tasha could hear some commotion not a far way away from where she was. Still staying on the borders, the young female tracked the noise as the sounds got louder and louder. Finally, she approached with part of her mind in shock. Did she just hear the alpha introduce herself, and to a group of rouges?! Ventus, her name was Alphess Ventus, the female leader of Lubrusca Pack. She approached the alpha politely yet keeping a safe distance from her space. Looking at the alpha female anxiously, then away to show she wasn't a threat. Finally, seeing that the others had introduced themselves, she spoke with confidence and respect.
"Greetings Alphess Ventus, my name is Tasha. I am here because I want to find a pack that I can call family, that I can support and stay loyal to. I am worthy of being a pack member, because I can pull my weight and I actually enjoy pulling my weight. My large size can aid in helping to take down prey, and I also can help defend and keep pack members safe by deterring enemies with my size and ferocity. Yet my skills are stronger with hunting. I will do anything to support the pack, and earn their trust. I am also very loyal when it comes to family." Finishing the last sentence with complete sincerity, she smelled a slight milk scent coming of the Alphess. She ignored it knowing it was none of her buisness, but waited for Alphess Ventus to respond to her statement. She quickly looked around at the other rouges who were there.

Wish stood up when he realized no-one had heard his howl. He picked up his mouse and headed off in a random direction, never straying too far into Lubrusca territory, for fear it would be the Ferus who found him first. When he found an area that he thought would be closer to Lubrusca, and slightly more importantly, further from Ferus. Just thinking of that name brought back cruel memories from his puphood. Brought back the tauntings of his siblings, the memories were so vivid, he could almost hear their voices, "Look at you, thinking you'll ever be strong enough to join a pack. As if! his sister would say, "You'll never amount to anything" his brother would add on. But finally, he had a chance to prove them wrong. He threw back his head and let a long, sad howl loose into the sky. "Somebody had to have heard that..." He muttered under his breath, "Or at least, I hope so..."

Macha "Live long and always have fun. Just don't forget to smell the flowers now and then."
Macha carefully watched Mokee's lips for his answer. "Al-alerts? someone we re here." What did 're' mean? The little onyx pup rolled her shoulders in a shrug, placing her silver and yellow gaze back on the ground. She yawned and let her eyelids fall, resting her delicate little head on her outstretched paws with one more tired yawn. Pressing her small figure against her companion, Macha prepared to take just a quick nap. Her nose twitched with the sudden scent of another approaching wolf and her eyes flew open with her head flinging upward at such speed that she almost hit Mokee. She shook her head to escape from her warm blanket of sleep and gazed slightly fearfully around only to spot the owner of the new scent. A sad looking, medium sized onyx wolf who moved his lips in a way Macha could barely catch. "Don't mind the blood." Heh, easy. Macha's face brightened with more energy and a smiled pulled desperately at her lips.
"You're bor-bor-dering a sen-si-tive area. If you're here to di-s-tur-b the peace, it's in your best inter-est that I ask you to leave. Otherwise, your alphess will be here shortly." That one was harder. What did 'disturb', 'bordering' and 'sensitive' all mean. The deaf pup thought a second and, low and behold, she remembered what bordering meant. Bordering: on the edge of. She confidently turned to him, grinning with the knowledge that she could understand him. Mostly. Macha missed his last words but did catch on to the lifelessness of his being, near void of emotion. She glanced at Mokee, checking to make sure he hadn't disappeared, before coming forward cautiously to stand before the male. To her he seemed like a giant, though not like her friend. She looked up, her face full of childish innocence and curiosity as she opened her mouth to quietly force out words. "Are y-y-ou ssssad-d? Wuh-why?"
Despite her obvious entrance, the little marbled pup didn't notice the brightly pelted female who approached with an important statement at first. Her marigold colored eyes glanced that way by chance and she tensed a second before relaxing when she noticed the other wolves communicating with respect? Yeah, respect, for the female who looked so formal. Macha ventured forward a step or two, ears standing high and stiff in curiosity. Unknowing of what to say or do to the obvious pack wolves in front of her, Macha waited for the other's to speak before quietly talking herself. "I'm Ma-m-m-ma-cha. Wh-whats ya-ya-your n-name?" Her question was completely out of innocence, no offense meant toward the apricot female. "You a-a-are ve-very pre-pre-ti-tty muh-muh-m-miss."
