Hazel tinged hackles prickled anxiously, a soft, flimsy smile parting the pretty male's features. Trembling, hazy terror had perforated his piercingly mismatched eyes, if only for a muffled, faint moment while his wits lay scattered about. Something within it appeared intimately familiar; a hazed, blurred hint of nostalgia within his wary, frightened gaze, and nervous anxieties. Was it something he'd said? The gentle brown giant looked on with a sudden careful, self conscious concern as his acquaintance stuttered a response, vague remorse filling his features. He'd never meant to make the mottled yearling nervous. A hazy apology began to build on his tongue, a slight, puppyish shame at having caused him unnecessary trouble when his name fell softly from his tongue. Laika - now that he'd named himself, what seemed all so familiarly recognizable at him? He dipped his mottled head in thanks, exchanged a soft, concerned side glance with Elenor when it struck him, a glaringly apparent streak of clarity.
Of course! Ellie had shared the same anxious fear of him when he'd first lodged himself in the cramped, narrow crawlspace of her den, the same terse, panicked sense of anxiety. Prospects of pack life had probably made the mottled brown male nervous. "Well, thank you Laika! It's a pleasure to meet you - I guess we'll be seeing you sometime around camp!" Shooting a soft, playful smile his way, the dappled male and Ellie withdrew, leaving him to his own thoughts while they started their way to the commons. There'd be time enough for potential friendships once they'd settled in. For now, he'd everything he'd ever needed at his side.
He could hardly conceal a subtle, playful swish of his tail as the Alphess began guiding back her prospects; a lighthearted, giddy lilt gleaning in golden eyes. If Ellie were near, he'd nudge her with a soft, childish shove of his muzzle, a gentle affection in light of their new beginning. "C'mon Ellie," he'd yip, his tone light, teasing. "Let's go home."

Macha "Everybody Can Make Someone's Day, Just Smile And Say Hi!"
Macha, worry buzzing in the pit of her stomach, watched intently as the female responded. "Hello there, Macha." That was easy. She knew the motions to those phrases well. "Very nice to meet you, sweetie." That one was harder. What did sweetie mean exactly? She supposed it was some sort of name, like the things called nicknames that she had seen once or twice. The pup had always thought her name was much too short to be given a nickname since she at least knew that they were usually a cutesy version of the original name. Maybe they didn't have to be motions taken from the original name. Macha's head began to spin and she quickly stopped thinking about it, instead working on the next part of the angelic female's words. "My name is Snow Rose," What a pretty and fitting title that was. "But you" Wait, she means me. "Can just call me Snow or Rose if you want to~." Hm, what a hard decision. The marbled pup, after mouthing the words to herself, spoke them aloud to the she-wolf. "Snow Wose..." Her words were drawn out in a soft tone, her voice thoughtful and careful to get it correct. Macha savored the motions on her tongue, placing them in her mental hard drive so she might not forget them. "Snow Wose." She spoke again, this time more confident in herself as she repeated the previous words.
The calming scent of Mokee helped her butterflies settle in her stomach, their incessant flapping falling to a dull feeling in the pit of her gut. She swung around happily to greet him, her face beaming with merriment and pride. As he began to introduce himself, to which she was unaware, Macha pressed into his large side, resting herself against his much bigger and teddy bear like body. For just a moment, the marbled pup rested her eyes. This place felt safe, comforting, and it felt even better now that she knew a very kind she-wolf. The rest of the wolves here seemed nice too. the best part about it was that Mokee was happy. And that made her feel happy.
Opening her eyes slightly, the thought of a nap in the warm sun sounded like an ingenious plan. Laying down in the soft grasses to dream until her mind shut off, next to the comfort that Mokee provided and letting the rays of light warm her darkly hued sides. However, her partially opened eyes caught the movment of Snow Wose which quickly encouraged her to awaken from her dreamy daytime ideals. "-That once we've settled into our new home," New home. She had seen it called that by many of the wolves here and now that she felt more relaxed in this strange place, she was finally up to the idea of it actually being just that. A home. Her home. "Maybe Blake and I could teach you a few things about healing if your interested." Interested meant that she wanted to find out more about something. Healing meant the use of plants to do cool stuff. And the angelic female said she could teach Macha about healing if she was interested. Macha enthusiastically bobbed her head, her face no longer sleepy but wide awake and excited at the prospect of learning how to do cool stuff with plants when she was otherwise rather useless at hunting and fighting. Wait, who is Black?
Macha watched as Snow Wose lifted herself to her paws and giddely jumped up too, wondering what they were going to do next. She felt Mokee gently push her forward as they other wolves also began making their leaves. She was perfectly happy to trot alongside Mokee and Snow Wose and this Black that Snow Wose had mentioned. They were off, off to the place called New Home and she only hoped that the place was as worthy of the name as she hoped it would.

The pale wolf scanned the crowd of former rogues. Who should he greet? “Hey there! I’m Kato.” A ginger she-wolf about Duva’s height approached, smiling. Duva perked up, grateful she freed him from having to initiate a conversation. “Oh, nice to meet you, Kato. I’m Duva.” “What do you plan on doing after this? I’m not really sure myself, but I’m kind of excited.” She paused and awaited Duva’s answer. He tilted his head, contemplating her question. “I actually hadn’t thought about it. Introducing myself to everyone else in the pack sounds like a good start. Maybe learning about our territory or going hunting?” He glanced at the autumn-coloured she-wolf. “Would you consider yourself a hunter?”Alphess Ventus spoke a moment later. “Let’s head back to the Commons and meet the rest of the pack.” She led them toward their densite and her new Lubrusca wolves followed. Duva turned back to Kato and grinned. “Here we go! All of our fresh starts are beginning.” He flicked his tail, hoping his acquaintance would walk with him; at least, Duva believed he’d conveyed that message. The silvery male wasn’t the smoothest socialiser, especially with new wolves. Duva padded forward and stepped lightly. All these wolves both comforted and unsettled him. They represented a pack, yet he was a stranger to them. Flawed his family might have been, at least he had easily spoken to them. Duva pushed aside those thoughts. How could he let fear of strangers stop him when a whole pack of unique individuals lived here? He might belong among them one day soon. Lubrusca would be his true home. -Exit to Lubrusca Common Grounds-

KATO LUBRUSCAN WOLF Oval shaped ember eyes subtly murmured slight satisfaction at the silvery male who stood before her. Kato was naturally such a reckless and impolite wolf, but now that she was accepted in the evergrowing family of Lubrusca, the bitch felt welcome in Duva's prescense. She'd recite his name in her mind as soon as he introduced himself; his behavior felt rather calming compared to her own fiesty nature.
An amiable smile blossomed onto her lips as the male asked if she would consider himself a hunter. A faint chuckle escaped her lips, chest trembling as she went, however it stopped short for the spitfire to answer. "Hunting is alright. I really have no honest opinion." She says, voice fluid and clear, yet silence overcame the she-wolf as the Alphness began to speak.
Her saffron eyes tore away from the ashen male to rest upon her superior; her smile had vanished at the feminine voice that had simply screamed with authority and leadership, something that Kato had lacked. Despite feeling rather envious, her new acquaintance's voice rumbled in her ears, in which her gaze would flutter to stare upon her companion again. Her only response was a simple smile, the edges of her lips tugging upwards in a polite fashion. "Sounds great." She says, beginning to walk with Duva onto her new, bright future. @duva

Wish hung his head. He had known this would happen, somewhere deep inside. But he had still gotten his hopes up so they could come crashing down. He felt like a little bit of him had been crushed by the avalanche of feelings, but he couldn't let it show. He dropped the mouse that he was still holding and quickly ate. He had to leave as soon as possible. He wasn't part of either of the packs that lived here, and he needed to scoot before someone found him.
He started walking off in a random direction. He was pretty sure it was the direction of the edge of Lubrusca. Sure enough, eventually he came to the border. He cast one last longing glance over his shoulder before crossing. *I would have loved it here* He thought with a sigh. He shook the thought from his head and continued onward. *But I guess I'll never know.*
