Culture Revamps | Hey everybody! So, as you all know, Lubrusca has now had it's Winter Timeskip, and big things are in store! Over the course of the timeskip, Mochi and Ventus have become mates, with Mochi set to become Lubrusca's next Alpha alongside Ventus. Under their influences, Lubrusca will be the first pack to have undergone a bit of a culture makeover - and so, here are Lubrusca's new philosophies, ideals, and ways of living! Lubrusca
- An extremely work-driven, equality-based society that strives for constant improvement. Every wolf is willing to work no matter what disability and finds a unique way to contribute. Everything is shared equally.
- Able-bodied wolves hunt, scout, train, etc, while the disabled work on local chores: watching pups, gathering herbs, tidying dens.
- More intricate ranking system - ‘Ranks Within Ranks.’ Each wolf is given jobs geared to use their greatest talents to the pack’s advantage.
- Each pup has a designated area they will go into at birth pre-determined by parents. Flexible, to a certain extent.
- Pups are taught basic skills by their parents. Once they begin to display individual, distinct skills they are assigned a mentor close to their future rank. Their mentor’s lessons are designed to nurture and improve the skills that are most prominent to prepare them for their future rank.
- When children are getting close to graduation and become actually situated within their ranks, they take part in a competition to determine who will hold a future superior rank. For example, future wolves interested in pursuing General/Paladin ranks battle for power, with the winners taking the top ranks, etc.
- ‘Tradition of Excellence’ - Only pack-born pups can participate in the mentor system.
- Two celebrations: when pups are given their assigned mentor, and when pups are officially granted their new ranks. A coming-of-age ceremony celebrated by a pack-wide hunt and a night of eating, joking, and playing.
- Hybrids are not allowed at all in this pack. They will be turned away immediately at the borders.
- Any wolves with disabilities are treated with respect and dignity, but are limited in their duties.
