Hello everybody! Unfortunately, due to the recent departure of previous TPR members, staff has decided it'd be best to re-home their characters in order to maintain site activity. However, in order to ensure the process goes as swiftly as possible, we have decided to allow site members to claim all non-superior pack members rather than officially apply, provided they are both members in good standing and maintain activity. No official application/sample post is needed to adopt any of the non-superior characters listed below, simply claim the character you wish to play and staff will step in to make sure you're all set up. So, without further ado, the characters. Happy roleplaying!
Somnus
Scout Dorsey Hiccup
Name: Dorsey Hiccup
Gender: Male
Age: 13 Months
Subspecies: Eurasian Wolf
Pack: Somnus
Rank: Scout
Crush: ---
Pups: ---
Mate: ---
Dorsey Hiccup, like his name suggests, is goofy and fun-loving. He has an energetic soul that makes it hard for him to rest so when he has to sit he will often chew restlessly on his paw or bounce his leg or really anything that will keep him from bubbling over. Dorsey thoroughly enjoys playing and roughhousing with anyone and everyone and if presented with a battle situation, he would probably treat it like a game of tag. However Dorsey knows when to be serious and can be very mature though has trouble focusing due to his autism. Despite his bouncy ways, Dorsey doesn’t say much due to a horrible stutter that makes everything he says stretch and warp so that he is nearly incomprehensible. He instead uses his very expressive eyes for any needed communication, besides playing of course. Dorsey loves neatness and symmetry and thus dislikes himself for his unclean stutter and pink and purple eyes. Dorsey also has a love for learning and when he can squeak the words out without his stubborn tongue and throat getting in the way, he loves to ask questions and has a livid curiosity for everything. He demands that he not miss out on anything and that he knows all that is going on around him. That being said, Dorsey is a rather pushy, bossy and stubborn little wolf who can definitely hold his own in an argument. Still, he is a very sweet wolf with a pure heart who would never do anything bad on purpose. Dorsey is prone to making mistakes and accidents constantly so he often gets in trouble with the wolves around him for it. He enjoys jokes and humorous wolves but also wolves who tell good stories and listening to them as he loves to tell his own stories of made up worlds hiding in his boundless imagination, which can often make him a daydreamer. Dorsey struggles with social interactions at times which is partially where he gets his stutter from and trouble making eye contact at times, all due to his autism.
Dorsey Hiccup is mainly a dusty tan with light gray criss-crossing his back, neck and forehead. His lower body, including legs and underside, are all a warm cream color that carries up into a more white shade around his chest and checks. His ears are a rich caramel color that stand out compared to the rest of his laidback and dusty colors. Dorsey’s eyes are beautiful, one being a rich Japanese violet and the other a sweet lilac and both being very bright and expressive. Hiccup has a light pink nose which, put with his eyes, gives him a worried facial expression. Dorsey is only about 3’1” tall and only weighs around 100 pounds, with muscles like a tiger which can make his lighthearted roughhousing a little dangerous since he doesn’t even know his own power. Still, Dorsey will never look very threatening.
Dorsey was born in a small, five wolf pack in a large litter of 12. He was one of the smallest in his litter though not quite the runt. Dorsey was definitely not the favorite but he was always given food and was treated like the other pups. At first, his name was just Dorsey but when he first learned to speak he had a pre-developed stutter and his parents decided that a more goofy name like Dorsey Hiccup suited him much better. Dorsey took a quick liking to his older sister who didn't care for him much. He would follow right behind her tail wherever she went and do whatever she did as best he could. At first she was extremely annoyed at his actions but as time passed, she found herself defending her brother and caring for him in a motherly fashion. She was from her parents first litter and had decided to stick around for the second. She would never admit it, but she loved Dorsey. As he grew, she tried to teach him how to hunt and fight and he tried his best to pay attention. It was in these lessons that she realized he had autism.
When Dorsey was 7 months old, their small family had to leave their territory after a scuffle with a much larger pack. They found a good enough place to settle down, a place with lots of trees and plants and a nearby brook for fresh water. There wasn’t an abundant amount of prey but there was enough to learn to hunt and survive. Lola, Dorsey’s sister trained him as best she could and when he turned a year old, Dorsey was ready to survive on his own. He promised his distressed sister he would come back after he had some time to learn on his own. After a few weeks, he realized he didn’t remember the way back to his pack.
