Paladin Endymion
The Purity in arrogance
Endymion was quick to decide that the morning was off to a great start as he watched the General latch herself onto Leyak, the Alpha's eldest son. His dark ears were instantly pinned against his skull as he could only watch the bitch rip into the young male. He would have loved to throw the girl off the Mortiul heir and beat her skull against the ground, punishment suitable for someone dumb enough to attack Adramalech's bloodline. But Sakia was not his to punish. Despite her high ranking she belonged to the Alpha, she was his little bitch and he would have the final say on who was given the absolute pleasure of knocking her down a few pegs. Hungry eyes switched between the ebony Alpha and the bloody scene that unfolded, practically begging to be given the honour of spilling such beautiful blood this early in the morning. Alas, it was Vivaldi who received his glorious permission. This didn't stop Endymion from relishing in the sight of Sakia's downfall, his weight shifting from paw to paw, anticipation rising with every pained howl from the girl's ruined body, her glistening crimson blood spilling from her head and fanning out against the cold rocky ground beneath her limp body. Endymion's favourite sensation rolled down his spine, euphoric tingles sending joyous pin-pricking delight over the expanse of his large body.
Truely, it was a beautiful start to the morning.
“With the death of the General I would like to remind all of you that your lives are not valued here if you decide you’ve had enough. Death is the only way out of this pack, and if you would like to keep your lives, I would suggest you don’t act like Sakia did,” a smirk blossomed across his handsome lips. Endymion had no intention of dying at the hands of his own pack-mates, instead he wished to die fighting for these wolves that had given him such an incredible environment to begin unfolding his sadistic and masochistic tendencies. With the thought of intentions on his mind, he suddenly became all-too giddy as he realised that with the pathetic excuse for a General now dead, the position was newly open and awaiting someone to fill it's role better than the last. Endymion was one of the best warriors Mortiul had to offer, anyone would be stupid or resentful to say he didn't deserve the rank that suited his ambitions so well. Only time would tell if Adramalech would be willing to let him climb the ranks even further, and until then he would do everything he could to prove his worth to the male that he held with such high regard.
Endymion watched with keen eyes as the Alpha's gaze swept over the group. “Battle training for today. Yvaine, you will take Crimson and train him wherever you please. Endymion, Abaddon, Beelzebub and Eulalia, take your training elsewhere than the commons. Make good use of it,” brilliant. With Beelzebub accompanying them for training, he would be given a chance to impress someone who could give their input to the Alpha without being ripped to shreds. The pair got on like a house on fire anyways as they seemed to feed off each other's chaotic energy. They were a dangerous duo, and he almost felt bad for the fact that Abaddon and Eulalia would have to be the ones to deal with their bullshit for the day...actually, maybe he didn't feel so bad for Abaddon. The bastard revelled in annoying the shit out of that male, and today would be no exception.
The Paladin gave a charming grin to the Beta as he approached, falling into line beside him as they began the arduous trek towards the Hunting Grounds. “Endymion,” the way Beelzebub purred his name was borderline seductive, and he couldn't deny that he loved it. “Show me why you are our best warrior. No holds barred. If every pelt isn’t painted red, I will consider this session nothing short of an absolute failure.” A deep and malicious chuckle rolled through his broad chest as the Beta's expectations were set. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

| DELTA CAYDEN OF IGNASIA Spring had come quickly, and it seemed that with it came many more new things. He and Maleah had finally made their mateship official. After the caves incident, it seemed that their relationship only grew as they spent more and more time together. She had finally said yes to becoming his mate, they spent hardly any time away from each other. Wherever one of them was, the other was soon to follow, and after a few weeks of this, they had asked Koga and Marusya if they could start their little family together. With the acceptance of Cayden’s idol, Maleah had become pregnant with their children. Now, she was heavily pregnant, with his pups. Cayden had been ecstatic when Maleah had confirmed that she was pregnant, and Iliana had only justified that statement more. The male was over his head in happiness now, and yet there were some still in the pack that weren’t as happy as he was. But they needed to work for it. Cayden had helped Koga before, earned his favor. They would be just like him if they worked for it. There were some that didn’t see happiness in the pack, and would never see it. They were visiting such wolves today, his company being Maleah and Iliana. The Salutary for Ignasia had taken an interest in the Mortiul Breeders health. He wasn’t sure why she insisted on checking up with them, but Mortiul would have their own Salutary soon enough, and she would be able to fully commit to Ignasia after this happened. He knew it would be soon. Koga had told him of the plans Adramalech had, and if the male was not bound to Maleah’s side happily, he would have followed as well and helped with the mission. He was following behind Iliana and Maleah, keeping the two of them in view before they halted. It seemed that Iliana wanted to hunt. Pressing himself up against Maleah, he gave her a lick upon the cheek, and a nuzzle to her neck, the smallest of whines coming from him as he inhaled the all too familiar scent of his mate, now sprinkled with milk. It was almost time for their little family to begin and he was excited. After Iliana had caught something and was ready to go, they began walking again. They finally made it to the breeder den, where Iliana went inside. It stunk of Beelzebub, so he pressed himself against Maleah. He would not let the male torment her anymore. He would make sure that she knew he would protect her. As the male exited, he headed straight for Adramalech, completely ignoring the two for now. It was a relief, Cayden didn’t want to shed blood this early in the morning. But it didn’t last too long. As he came back sooner rather than later and Cayden wished Iliana would have hurried just a bit faster for them to leave. But as he listened to the male, bi-colored eyes squinted, a growl appearing at the back of his throat as he listened to what he said. But it wasn’t he that spoke up, it was Maleah. Her bold behavior sent pride rushing through him. “I won’t touch that filth you’ve tainted,” He snarled at the male, then looked down to Maleah, waiting for Beelzebub to leave. After the black male did, he gave her an affectionate lick on the cheek. “You are the only she-wolf I need and want,” he spoke, looking over her with eyes that glittered with adoration. “And you are the bravest one I know. I’m proud of you for standing up to him. And I’m sure Koga will be as well,” He whispered, resting his muzzle on the top of her head. He would wait for her and Iliana to be ready to head home before he decided to move. |

Post by Mercenary Yvaine on Jul 3, 2019 20:20:41 GMT -8
The morning was eventful to say the least. She watched the General come from the Alpha’s den, a complacent look on Yvaine’s face as she went for the Alpha’s eldest child; Leyak. Shaking her head a tiny bit, she gave Crimson a look before turning back towards the action. The she-wolf was separating the Alpha from his child rather quickly, and as him and the Alphess exchanged what could only be the command to kill the she-wolf, Vivaldi ripped into her. The General was dead in mere moments, and she rolled her eyes. Of course the she-wolf would be sentenced to death. Adramalech let her get away with so much that she got arrogant, and that was her downfall. She may have hated Leyak, but it was a stupid decision to kill in broad daylight where his father could see her attempt at murdering the future Alpha of Mortiul. Giving a small snort, she watched as Ignasia wolves came into the Commons, her eyes searching for Quentin to see if he was with them. Alas, it seemed he was not, and so she returned her attention back to Adramalech. After their little chat, Adramalech started talking to the pack. He spoke of death and what not, the usual here. Her ears perked as training was suggested. As the Mercenary of the pack, Yvaine was in charge of the assassins. Her only one being Crimson for right now - which she was completely fine with - would be training underneath her. Adramalech gave a lot of leeway when it came to her training methods simply because she wasn’t training a warrior. Head on battle was not the strength of an assassin. It was approaching from the shadows, killing without a sound. Giving her subordinate a flirty look, she flicked her tail under his chin. Heading to the outside of the commons, she watched as Beelzebub, Endymion and Abaddon headed towards the hunting grounds. It seemed as if they would stay here for right now at least, until a brilliant idea struck. “Come on Crimmy, let’s head somewhere darker,” She gave a flick of her tail under his chin as her long legs carried her towards where she knew they would train best, the caves. -Exit- Assassin Crimson

The events that took place in the commons did not surprise the training assassin in the slightest. If there was one thing he loved about this pack it was the fact that they had no qualms about spilling blood, to him it was the mark of a strong and loyal pack. You would not be banished or given a second chance, death was the only punishment ever received and it was the ultimate punishment. The ultimate way to keep wolves in line and loyal. Red eyes focused on his alpha's demands, admiring the power that seemed to radiate from his form, he strives to one day be looked upon how the pack looked upon him, though he did not strive to ever be alpha one day, to say such a thing was blind arrogance and naivete. The black he-wolf was more than content where he was now, beneath Yvaine's pretty eyes and her flirtatious ways, even if she looked very different than the wolves he was used to, it was the fact that she stood out that initially caught his eye and her attitude that won his attraction. He turned his red eyed gaze away from the alpha when he heard her voice call his name dubbing him 'crimmy' something only she called him. he gave her proposition a nod and followed after the fiery pelted female, smiling at the fact that she flicked her tail under his chin before turning and leading the way toward some undisclosed location. -Exit To: The Caves-

Imset moved instinctively towards her betrothed. Scarlet eyes scanned him over, flecked with faint wisps of rage. How very fortunate indeed for Sakia that Vivaldi had taken her life — Imset wouldn’t have been half so merciful, especially considering the sanctity of her target. Still, aside from a fresh riddling of wounds alongside his jugular, Leyak seemed none the worse for wear, accepting Imset’s affectionate display without a word of protest. Typically, his eldest wouldn’t have gone to such lengths as to clean those wounds herself, but Leyak had always been special. It was the same miniscule shimmer of extraordinary that had drawn Anubis and Aamon together. From the being, Adramalach and himself had wordlessly envisioned something along these lines taking root between their children, but even now as it assumed reality, Koga had to admit it had gone far smoother than he ever could’ve anticipated. Each pup almost perfectly complemented the other. There was, quite frankly, no tangible need for intervention — granting him the happy luxury of watching it unfold. In due time, the prophecies between the two packs would pass. “It seems they’re developing a grander idea for the future than we had hoped,” Adra remarked, as if in his thoughts. “I believe our futures will be intertwined for some time if that’s the case.” Koga spun around on an oaken heel, grinning ear to ear. “Of course. I wouldn’t have it anyway else.”“Your mission is to capture the Ferus Salutary.” Adra began. “From Sakia’s description he’s the largest wolf there. By far something you can’t miss.” Koga listened in languidly, already well aware of the information Adra presented. In all honesty, if worst came to worst, he and Ky could likely accomplish the mission in half the time it would take, and with twice the efficiency to boot. “Ky,” he murmured, stretching his stiff oaken limbs outwards as he lied down. “Do you remember the day you were sent to me? Fall had just found the Ferus borders. I was trying to catch a bitch, and just as she threatened to run from me, you swooped in and ensured I’d be able to carry out Adjetni’s mission.” He purred, fondly pouring over the memory. “How many wolves did we kill that day? There was that fat warrior — poor thing, put up the best fight he could with all that bulk. And the apprentice male; snapped his back like a twig, didn’t you? And then in the end, we decided the bitch wasn’t worth it and killed her two. Three wolves in one noon,” He mused wistfully as he poured his gaze over Sakia’s corpse. “Who knew we’d be bringing a fourth too?” “Just imagine if today’s mission were half so successful,” He quipped, leaving that their final note for Ky to sit on. Adramalach had finished his instruction. The rest was up to him. A soft voice piped up, pleading to be considered —well to be fair, the tone wasn’t pleading, but the she-wolf was. Tiny claimed that she would be of arguably good use, were she to be considered for the mission. Objectively, that could very well be true. She had the size, most certainly. (My god, did she rival Adramalach these days?) Koga knew himself that Vivaldi was a more than capable mentor. His doubts were distinctly centered on whether or not Tiny had ever been a capable student. Unlike Anubis, Imset, and Varuna, he’d never witnessed her wield even a fraction of talent; forever Maleah’s faint-hearted, cowering runt. While this might have changed to some degree, he’d still no verification whether or not this was a worthwhile risk. And yet there was a sharp, distinct sheen to her gaze, a quality he often witnessed in wolves on the verge of death; something urgent and pleading. It was desperation, he realized after a brief analysis, to fulfill something personal. What it was, he couldn’t prove, but if he knew his daughter well, it was a simple desire to be seen. Very well. He would allow her the same opportunity the rest of her siblings had been granted. “Come along then,” He stated simply, rising to his full height. “All you had to do was follow. I hope that all of you were listening well. The Ferus borders are a far ways off. Take care not to waste this time. As we walk, I want you to muse over a plan. Listen closely to see if Adjetni has any words of wisdom to offer. If there are no further questions, we will be off.” A sorrel ear swiveled unconsciously towards the other wolves he’d brought to the Commons. From Mal and Cayden, a seething, furious hiss slipped forth. He turned around, ready to reprimand any troublesome Mortiul warriors — only to find that this time, Maleah had elected to take matters into her own hands to vanquish Beelzebub from sight. His ears perked in vague interest. Finally, the changes that had once afflicted Marusya were spreading to her as well. Certainly, this was something to be encouraged. He took a step towards them to offer a short word before departing, catching the tail end of Cayden’s speech. “You were well in your right,” He purred. “I’m pleased you exercised it. Practice that. It will serve you well when the pups are born.”“Cayden,” He addressed. “Guide Maleah and Iliana back to the Commons. Make sure that all is running smoothly. They’ve no place in lands like these. Send Marusya my love. We will be back in due time.”

Her father looked at her apathetically. Not as though he’d ever looked at her differently, but still, after all this time, it still found new ways to hurt her. He’d granted her request. For once in her life, he’d given her a tangible chance, an opportunity to prove herself as her siblings had.
So why didn’t it feel like it?
Stiffly, she stood, assuming position at the foot of their group. Even though her father had plainly stated otherwise, she was no fool. She had no place here, not yet anyways.
But by the time they trotted back to the Common Grounds, their mission accomplished, she’d ensure that she would.

Varuna entered the Mortiul commons cautious like the rest, with a relaxed body and alert ears, lowered head and sharp eyes. He looked for one particular she-wolf, his pelted twin. There, he tried to get Feyre's eye but to no avail. She looked healthier than she used to be. A pang of guilt flecked his heart but he had to snuff it out.
He now knew what she was gonna be used for. He felt horrible for that. He didn't know why he was developing empathy, perhaps he was different from the rest of them. More like Tiny. But the skull back home and the thrill of the kill told him otherwise. Mismatched eyes looked to the ground, but his ears remained alert. Taking in everything that was said, he followed behind his father with no comment.

| What a blessed morning! At last the day had come where He would lead them back to Ferus to spill more blood. Back to sacred ground for the inky devil. The land where one useless soul reunited with the being that could finally harness it and command only the worst onto infidels. The place where after a moment of acquaintance, He had wielded true power and unleashed it upon unsuspecting yearlings. Perhaps on this trip, there would be some just as unlucky alongside the Salutary! Then, Ky truly would have a lovely time.
But His word lingered in the insane male's ear. Ky was to supervise. To cast pitch eyes over blessed apprentices and restrain his blood lust. So cruel his master was to let him witness such sacred ceremonies without participating. He couldn't earn any more scars from this. He was healed now, the trenches dug into his war-torn face permanently etched without any new blood being shed. With trust in Him, Ky knew he was a masterpiece. A beast displaying precise horrors beyond imagination.
This morning, they were visiting his twin once more. The screams of pain coming from the commons set the male on edge. Not nerves or fear, but knowledge of his crimson poison that lay spilled somewhere in the common grounds. Perhaps even so much as a meal if he was lucky. And he was. A corpse, torn and ripped at the face to provide a truly dishonorable death to the ex-wolf that had obviously lost the privilege of life. Perhaps the cannibal could taste iron after all today?
Alas, He was precise, giving his twin only a quick conversation to confirm the plan before whisking away once more with the blessed brood. Longingly, he watched as Silas moved to lick the blood off the Alphess' coat. Unlike the pitiful male though, Ky wanted the taste of the blood, not any sort of bond with Vivaldi. He respected the female, but the only one that the crazed male could ever serve would be Him. Staring at the corpse for a few more seconds, the drunken gait of the Beta carried him back towards his purpose at the mission they had to carry out. | Let Him guide us |

Post by Apprentice Imset on Jul 11, 2019 2:11:13 GMT -8
If Imset had her way, they would have departed for the Ferus borders days ago. But here they stood, wasting time by her standards waiting for orders from Adramalech. They didn't need his word, she already knew what they would be doing during their mission, it seemed that this short trip was merely to keep up appearances with the Mortiul Alpha as well as pick up the sibling that they had lost to the ranks of their sister-pack. Imset's carnelian eyes flashed as Tiny approached, her neck tilting back ever so slightly to peer up at the insanity of the "runt's" height. She had always thought her youngest sister had been shunned by Adjetni's touch, her namesake size and softer attitude had made her seem nothing short of useless amongst the litter of prodigies, but here she stood, miles above her siblings, graced with a rather peculiar blessing of her impressive build. Imset was rather jealous, though she wouldn't trade her bond with Adjetni for anything. “Your mission is to capture the Ferus Salutary.” Adramalech began, Imset's umber ears twitching as she shifted her gaze to rest upon the male as he spoke, her blood pumping with adrenaline as she shifted on her impatient paws, ready to begin on their mission at a seconds notice. But first, she would have to sit through Adra's speech... Adjetni dammit, why can't he speak faster? “From Sakia’s description he’s the largest wolf there. By far something you can’t miss.” Imset's gut churned at the thought of such a brute. She wasn't exactly sure how they would make such a legendary beast comply, but hopefully with Tiny's intimidating stance mixing with her sister's knack for chaos and her own way of weaving terror, they would have no problem in taking a measly Salutary. “Any other Ferus wolves can be killed." Brilliant. "Unless they have an attachment to him." Ah, fuck. No fun. "Anything to make him break and succumb to our will is beneficial. A she-wolf he’s sweet on especially works,” She thought about it for a while, subduing the irritation that came with Adra's last command as she decided that he had a point. “You are Koga’s children so I expect great things from this. Do not come back empty pawed, or with a dead Salutary,” He believes there is a chance of a failed outcome being a possibility. Prove him wrong. Show him the strength of Adjetni's children.Imset's skin crawled while her ears twitched at the sound of the voice that lurked within her skull. A smirk twitched in the corner of her lip as these words reverberated through her head, though she did nothing else to acknowledge it, she instead turned to look at her father as he began to speak over the echo of her inner-voices. “Come along then,” the young girl practically jumped out of her skin at the words, as Koga began the trek down the mountains and beyond. “All you had to do was follow. I hope that all of you were listening well. The Ferus borders are a far ways off. Take care not to waste this time. As we walk, I want you to muse over a plan. Listen closely to see if Adjetni has any words of wisdom to offer. If there are no further questions, we will be off.” She would snap if her siblings had any questions, or merely groan is her twin was to interrupt their departure. Hell, she almost started snarling as her father stopped to pass a few words into Cayden's ears. Imset was beginning to tilt from side to side on the tight-rope that lurked over the pit of her delicately leashed temper. One more hiccup in their departure would be enough to snap the rope and send her plummeting into the uncontrollable agitation and aggression that she tried so hard to keep in check. Ruby eyes shifted to look at Ky as he walked with them, her brow furrowing and annoyance bubbling in her blood at the mere sight of him. If anything were to tip her over that dangerous edge, she knew it would be him. Imset just hoped that she would settle down during the trek so she could be as composed as possible for the mission that lay ahead. In an attempt to settle herself, she threw a quick glance over her shoulder, fiery eyes finding the snow-white figure of Leyak. If he were to catch her small glance, she would give a small flick of her tail and nod of her head, a wordless promise that she would come back to see him with a success-story in tow.

Anubis didn’t feel a particular way about what was unfolding when it came to the plans that her father had made with Adramalech. This was their first mission, and Anubis’ chance to spill blood from another pack. That alone was enough to have her trying to be excited. But the feeling simply wasn’t there. She had grown enough to separate from her siblings into her own den, but often times she would go bug Imset when she became restless. Her sister was quite possibly the only wolf she ever talked to besides when she had to speak to Mother and Father. Her training had become rigorous to be prepared in time for this witch hunt on the Ferus Salutary, and she was ready. Following behind her father soundlessly, carmine eyes kept to her sister’s frame as she rushed off as soon as they were in the commons of Mortiul. The smell of blood soaked the air and she gave a small whine at the thought of a meal, but she knew that they weren’t here for that. Blood was the only thing that kept Anubis going, and she wouldn’t lie when it came to that. Anubis was almost the same as Ky, just wanting blood and nothing else. But unlike her father’s faithful mutt, she had a brain, and could think better than him. Moving into the Mortiul Common Grounds, she saw her sister fawning over the white male that belong to Adramalech and Vivaldi. On the ground near the Alphess’ feet was the General, torn open from a brutal murder. Anubis was disgusted by her sister’s open displays of affection towards Leyak, and nearly gagged. But she kept it from being seen by her sister, and instead focused on her father as they approached Adramalech. She didn’t hear what was whispered, but she just simply waited for the Alpha of Mortiul to speak.
Their mission was to bring the Salutary back alive, much to Anubis’ distaste. But that would mean Iliana would stop coming over to see the breeders and check on them, and she was sure that her father would be pleased with that to say the least. She kept her ears forward, but her mind had already wandered to the territory beyond. This would be their first time since they were pups that they would be outside the Ignasian territory, and she was wondering if they would encounter a couple of unlucky wolves along the way. Her father had to let her have some fun with them. They weren’t that important when it came to their mission, and it would only hinder them for a couple minutes while Anubis had some fun. But alas, her father was looking to get business done. As she listened to the two males speak, she zoned out for a minute, only zoning back in once they were finished. Her vermilion eyes caught onto the Beta of Mortiul who was over harassing Cayden and Maleah. He couldn’t hear what she said, but the stance that Maleah took, was surprising. She stood up for herself, without Cayden stepping in to protect her. Anubis’ face would have been covered with amusement if she knew what that was, but instead, she waited as her father approached, giving words of praise it seemed before he brought himself back to the siblings. Tiny had joined them by this point, and she looked to her gargantuan sister. Not saying anything to her, but instead giving a flick of her tail as she followed her siblings and took the lead next to Imset as they followed to the outskirts of the territory, where they would finally be heading out.

The ever watchful guardian at his alpha’s side scanned over the clearing once more as Adramalech addressed their Beta before befalling the ebony tormentor. “Another failed litter, Beelzebub?” the sloe colored leader spoke, his words dripping with a poison that was almost palpable. It took almost all of Bishop’s will power not to snigger, a smirk was all that appeared on his maw as Adra practically seemed to scold the beta as if he were a mere pup and the displeasure Beelzebub felt was only mentioned in a mere flick of an ear. Litters were fickle, Bishop knew this, he also knew Adramalech had this knowledge, whether it be the pups being miscarried, their little lives fading from their bodies, their mother’s life force fading and leaving the little ones to fend for themselves or even the mother carrying to term but the puppies were born dead, he knew it was likely saving them the hassle of culling the weak. Mortiul needed to be strong, and those who were too feeble physically or mentally only hindered them. A pack is only as strong as its weakest link, as they say. Bishop couldn’t say he’d had the chance to revel in the murder of those beneath him, however he knew it was only a matter of time now that he was given his rank, and after seeing the murder of Sakia, he couldn’t wait to keep the others in line, too. He thought about how this pack ran, how he could easily take another’s life without so much as a second glance so long as there was a reason. And the chance he’d had to sink his teeth into another’s flesh was at the arena, where pups lay strewn about, decapitated, flayed alive or simply dismembered. As the discussion went on, he finally flicked an ear when he heard his name called, he was to train the alpha’s son, and while he was fine doing it, even venerated that Adramalech would bestow such an honor, he couldn’t help but almost huff at helping the pup. Bishop could teach, but never found himself in the situation to do so and so he felt there were better choices. But this would show whether he could, he supposed. Rising to his paws, not even wanting to argue, what could a heavily pregnant and virtually starved female do to a healthy alpha in his prime after all? Cotton candied eyes found who he was looking for, after the assult, he was sure he could at least handle himself in a battle, the only hesitation being that he was unsure he was able to fully retaliate. “Leyak,” He rumbled, “Come.” And with that, he turned on his heels and headed to a lesser crowded piece of their camp. Bishop waited patiently for the pup to come closer, a shadow passing over his back and a cackle rose in his ear. It had been days without this pest, and yet, his fox had showed its face once more, snapping at his paws but he refused to move them. When Leyak’s shadow covered it, it dissipated, a screech that slowly retreated being his only indicator that it had gone. It promised to come again, and soon. Laying his eyes on the pup, he nodded. “Assume a battle stance. Paws set shoulder and hip length apart for balance.” And he did the same. “I want you to strike first, don’t hold back.” The pup readied himself, his face setting into a scowl of concentration before quickly lunging at the brute’s left leg. Bishop knew this was his first move - why did everyone go for this move? - and lifted a massive paw, colliding it against his cranium and knocking him to the ground. Bishop moved so he stood over the pup and brought his jaws around his neck without adding pressure before lifting his head once more. “Dead. Legs aren’t as vulnerable than you think, lots of wolves go for them and they’re the obvious first choice. Get up. Try again. Your eyes tell me what you’re going to do before you even do it. I want you to try to trick me.”

The bitch of a General had not let go, and as he looked to his mother, she spurred to action, come forth and knocking Sakia from his scruff, and away from them. He immediately retreated from the battle, black eyes looking over to the General and then to his mother. As she spoke, they looked to his father who only gave a nod in Vivaldi’s direction to allow her to rip into Sakia. As Vivaldi snapped her fangs, she stole a chunk of the General’s face, and a blood curdling scream ripped from Sakia’s throat. But it didn’t last, as his mother ripped the throat of the General, and the life left her quickly. It was not as torturous as the deaths in the Caves of Beelzebub’s children, but it was still something to remind those in the pack that him and his brother were not to be maliciously touched. Ignasian wolves came into the Commons at that time, one of them being Imset who immediately came to his side. Relief flooded through the male as the beautiful she-wolf approached, coming to lick at the wounds that were on his neck. They weren’t deep by any means, but they still hurt. Wincing as her tongue ran gently along them, he gave her a small nod, a smile playing on his lips. “I’m fine. I should have been able to fend her off. Forgive me for worrying you,” He spoke softly, black eyes locking with red as he looked over the beauty that he wanted to call his. With time that would come, they were young and it was only a matter of time before she was ready. But if she found a better suitor, he would be sure that Aamon was sent after the male and killed. He had laid claim to Imset already in his mind, and if anyone were to try to steal her, he would even kill them himself. Blood spilled was never Leyak’s first option, but when it came to things he wanted, he was more than willing to either have his brother mercilessly kill them for trying to take his wants, or he would do it himself. There would be nothing standing in the way of him and the beautiful she-wolf at his side currently. She was torn away all too quickly with the plans of the kidnapping and mission she was supposed to go on, but before she left his side, he quickly spoke. “Be safe,” The words were short, but they meant something to him at least. As she walked away, he caught her gaze, and that was all he needed in order to know that she would be back. His attention was brought back to his father as he spoke of what they would be doing today. He looked to Bishop, seeing that the male would be training him today. He was one of his father’s most trusted warriors, being named the Protector of the pack, specifically staying by Adramalech’s side however. As he looked to the male, his father disappeared, and so he approached, knowing that now would be the best time to approach. They headed to a less crowded area, and Leyak followed quickly behind the brute. He was commanded on what to do, and Leyak followed wordlessly with the male’s orders. He may be the Alpha’s son, but he was being trained right now, and Bishop resided in a rank much higher than Leyak. Taking a moment, his eyes locked on Bishop’s leg. That would be his target. Darting forward, he was met with nothing as his jaws went to snap, and instead, a paw slammed against his cranium, sending the male back as he looked up with a scowl on his face, being placed underneath Bishop only riled the young male up a bit more. Jaws were around Leyak’s neck before he could react and a growl came from him as he listened to what Bishop had to say. He gave a loud growl before he got back up, eyes locking with the male as he thought over what he was going to do. Taking a moment, Leyak analyzed his opponent. Bishop was larger than Leyak still, but that wouldn’t last for long. The male was still growing, and he might even outgrow his father when the time came. Deciding that he should take the tactic of tricking him, Leyak locked eyes with Bishop. Dashing forward, the other male prepared for his attack, but instead, Leyak rolled to the side, getting up quickly and shoving himself into Bishop’s side, the force enough to knock the male over. Standing over him, Leyak did the same that Bishop had done. Letting his fangs wrap around the others scruff, he looked down with triumph filtering through black depths. Protector Bishop

Adramalach and Vivaldi hadn’t given his speech that much thought. In fact, it was wholly debatable as to whether or not they had even heard him at all. Perhaps that was a good thing. Attention, whether good or bad, often led towards the same undesirable results in regimes as ruthless as this one. Still, there was the need to garner information. Had that not been his purpose in coming to these wretched lands? And yet he still hadn’t procured anything tangible. How unfortunate, but perhaps this was an opportunity to explore. The slaves that had been here longest doubtlessly knew something he didn’t, something that’d provide this purpose. The issue lay in finding one of sound enough mind to speak too; the issue being, of course, that there were none. Mortiul’s training methods had a way of shifting the soundest of minds. Lluise had been a prime example of that. Ever since her pregnancy was confirmed, she’d retreated further and further into herself, a husk of what had been. For good reason — he’d never been subjected to Beelzebub’s torments, but he’d often heard their nightly screams, the frantic thrashing from the breeder’s den that elapsed into the early hours of the morning. He couldn’t imagine. And he had no particular desire to do so either. Perhaps it would do him well to check on her. Adramalach was off, touting two slave girls to a more private area. Feyre and Kalia, he believed their names were. If past events were anything to go off of, they had his sympathies. That left him with Lluise and the male, Ronin, who Beelzebub has deemed has own personal pet. A horrific rank, one which he never hoped to fulfill, but Ronin had a distinct advantage. He stood witness to the male’s every move — who knew how many crimes he could stand witness too? So far, it seemed he was to stand by the breeder’s den. Aside from the she-wolves themselves, he was closest pair of eyes to Mort’s atrocities. Carefully, he lifted himself, maintaining a plodding, casual pace as he situated himself beside him. He wanted to look as casual as possible. “Hello,” He began, his amber gaze fixed ahead firmly, as though he’d been commanded to guard this den as well. “You’re Ronin, right? I’ve been watching you.” He paused, waiting a few moments for Beelzebub to clear on out. “How long have you sat guarding your master’s prisoners? He seems to trust you quite well with them.” “I know it may sound like a prying question.” He confessed, his voice soft, vaguely intelligible. “But that girl, Lluise, is an old friend of mine.” That was a lie. He had only ever truly spoken to her within these woodlands — aside from that, she had been little more than a particularly sadistic packmate, nothing more. “I’m worried for her. This hasn’t been easy on any of the girls I’m sure. Tell me,” He paused, fixing his flaxen gaze against Ronin’s. “How many more are there? A pack as powerful as this, a wolf as battle-scarred as that — that can’t be all of it. You’ve a certain look in your eyes, you know.” He admitted, his voice faltering briefly. “You’ve seen things, willingly or not. I haven’t yet. Maybe that’s a good thing.” He fidgeted himself to a more comfortable position. “But I can’t afford to be so blind anymore. Horrible things have already happened, but I can’t shake this awful, awful feeling that I’ve only witnessed the least of it. I know there’s more to come, and I know I need to be ready. Please Ronin, if there’s anyone that can help me here, it has to be you. What have you seen here?” Tagged: @ronin Breeder Lluise

cicatricum refertam pulchritudo “ Her heart felt like it was in her throat. The blood rushing through her ears as the stress of Beelzebub's presence melted away and was replaced with the voice of her mate, strong and sure, from behind her, “I won’t touch that filth you’ve tainted. You are the only she-wolf I need and want. And you are the bravest one I know. I’m proud of you for standing up to him. And I’m sure Koga will be as well,” his words sprouted a rose of love, blooming with every second his voice continued to wash waves of reassurance over her. Neon green eyes closed contently, a heavy sigh slowing her heartbeat back down to a regular pace...The Prophet's voice snapped her right back to attention, his word about to dictate her punishment or praise, "You were well in your right. I’m pleased you exercised it. Practice that. It will serve you well when the pups are born.” A shuddering breath of relief was coaxed from her lungs, her voice whispering, "Thank you, Prophet." With the knots in her stomach freed, the pressure of a baby's paw kicking into her side distracted her from the words that her oaken Alpha spoke to her mate.
The heavily pregnant nanny knew that her Alpha and all of the children she had worked so hard to raise would be leaving for their blessed mission. Surely, Adjetni would shine down upon them with mercy. The rituals, his walks to try and glimpse even a flash of his form, had almost worked for Maleah once. She could've sworn that a couple months ago she had seen a spark while she walked for Adjetni, and even that hint was enough for her to continue showing her undying support for him.
Koga leaving was reminiscent of the first time they had truly met. Remembering such times were harsh for Maleah. Her stomach scraping o the ground, ears sewn back in perfect submission, constantly in fear of anyone or anything destroying her. Now, with ears marked by greatness and her face beautifully and delicately carved with arches surrounding her eyes, she had nothing to fear. She could watch him depart with his promise of safety within Ignasia steadfast and true, as always. Turning to give her mate a lick on the shoulder and a small glowing smile, Maleah turned back towards Ignasia, her journey bound to be slow with the downhill trudge unbalancing her swollen form more than normal.” notes Exit to: Ignasia Common Grounds

bishop nodded at the anger which flared in the pups throat, anger was a good fuel for the fire that burned in war, however it has also been the downfall to many great warriors. "Keep your anger, use it to your advantage, but be sure it doesn't cause you to strike hard and blind. Keep your head about you, when you strike purely from rage, your opponent almost always gets the upper hand.” he instructed, then released the whelp from his grasp, moving back and assuming his battle stance once more. “again.” Leyak stood up tall, copying the Protectors stance once more and steeled himself, his eyes looking to Bishop’s leg once again. A mental eye roll was all he could muster as the pup darted forward again. The brute lifted his paw once more, ready to strike the head that hadn’t listened to him the first fucking time he told him not to be so obvious. But when Leyak didn’t rush for the leg, Bishop set it back down, his eyes widening as the alpha’s son feigned and then slammed into his side. Thanks to his lifted paw, he couldn’t catch his balance like he would have had his paws been planted and the wind was knocked from his chest. The protector fell hard to the ground, his air coming out in a sharp huff and he felt teeth around his throat. When he was able to breathe normally once more, a sharp exhale escaped his maw as he laughed, moving his paw to the underside of the pup atop of him and pushed him off firmly but not roughly and rose to his paws once more. “Good feign. As you can tell I was not expecting that. But now show me what you would do once the element of surprise is out of the way. Now I know your little trick there, I do hope you have a few more up your sleeve, otherwise you’ll have to rely on brute strength and you can imagine how horribly that would go if faced against someone with the size difference like me.” Bishop reveled in the excitement of even a practice battle, his blood lust never seeming to be completely sated, and Leyak was very obviously well trained, the brutal ways of Mortiul moulding the future of the pack. He couldn’t wait to see what powerful warriors these pups could be in the later years, and to be able to say he had helped in moulding them brought pride overflowing into his chest. This time, Bishop settled in front of Leyak, however, as the pup got ready to try again, Bishop rushed forward doing the same Leyak did without faking, moving to the pups side and colliding his body with his own, grabbing onto his scruff as he lost balance and shook him, making sure not to break skin, but Bishop believed a bruising would be a better teacher than gentle coaxing.
