It was the first morning of spring and Aelin couldn't deny that the scenery for her first Tinder date couldn't have been more perfect. The hot springs had been her destination, the small pools of warm, gently rippling water clashing against the slight winter-chill that was still clinging to the air, being the cause of the soft plumes of steam that curled upwards into the mountainous skies. Aelin approached the gorgeous waters, stopping at the lip of a shallower pool that looked all too inviting to a she-wolf who was starting to loose her winter-coat despite the snow that still dotted the landscape in slowly melting patches of icy crystals. But she was a courteous wolf who had every intention of waiting for her date to arrive before she indulged in the warmth of the springs.
Her date: an onyx-furred brute by the name of Azazel.
Aelin's stomach curled with nerves at the thought of finally meeting the male that she had so eagerly swiped right. His profile picture was definitely handsome, in a very rugged way, and he had described himself as a 'bad boy' in his bio, which was a character trait that Aelin had always found herself helplessly attracted to.
The ivory she-wolf couldn't help but wonder what would become of this date; whether it would turn into a nigh shared in a den or the rest of their lives spent together, she didn't care. Aelin just hoped that something interesting would happen between the two of them. She would hate to let such a handsome thing slip between her paws without a little bit of...action.

| Azazel was rather nervous to meet his tinder date honestly. He had only really swiped right because she was pretty, and he hadn't taken the time to actually look over her bio. He was late, of all things. The male hurried forward, looking in front of him with yellow eyes that help the hardened gleam of Ferus. They were to meet in the hot springs, something that was rather welcomed, especially during the colder weather that was upon them. There she sat, a white pillar among the territory. Her beauty didn't lie only in her profile picture, but also in her very being. He was mesmerized, almost not stopping as he immediately brought himself to stand next to her instead of on top of her.
Clearing his throat, he spoke. "Are you Aelin?" He asked, looking towards her with yellow optics that let a small sliver of nervousness pass through them. He was nervous that he would come of as too straightforward, and that she would immediately regret their date, but he hoped that she would at least give him a chance to show that he was somewhat fun, and that they could have a good time.

One thought crossed the she-wolf's mind as she saw him in the distance: 'Thank god I'm not being catfished.' Because, just as his profile picture had led her to believe, Azazel was indeed very attractive. And tall. Not as tall as Draco. But damn, he certainly wasn't challenged with short legs. Aelin was a sucker for males that required her to break her neck looking upwards if she wanted to meet their gaze, and Azazel's citrine eyes certainly were an interesting thing for her to be looking at.
Aelin had to swallow her nerves as the male came to a halt beside her, standing so close that she could almost feel the heat radiating off his black pelt...or maybe that was just the hot springs, but Aelin could believe whatever she wanted. "Are you Aelin?" He quizzed after clearing his throat. The she-wolf gave a small smiled in response, her plush tail swaying gently behind her indicating the slight excitement that jolted her after simply hearing him say her name. "The one and only," she quipped in response, her angelic smile growing as she wasted no time in approaching the closest pool of the hot springs, throwing a cheeky glance back at her date as she stepped into the warm embrace of the water. Aelin waded further into the small pool, its steaming depths reaching far enough to submerge her body while her head was left bobbing above water.
"Care to join me, Azazel?" Aelin threw her invitation to the male as she sat, molten gold eyes piercing through the veils of steam to look at him as his name rolled so easily off her tongue. Azazel. She loved the way it sounded. Hopefully she could say that she loved more than just his name if this date went well enough.

| He received a reply from the female almost instantly, confirming that it indeed was her. A smile twinged at the end of his lips, but he held it back, giving nothing but a polite nod as she seemed to know his name already. It would have been obvious considering that he was there, and this is where they had planned for their date to be. Watching as the smaller white lupine waded into the water, he found himself watching how she moved, yellow eyes tracing her figure as she made it to where the water was tall enough he could hardly see any of her. She invited him in, and he took the gesture as a reason to wade in after her. With his taller stature, he was most definitely only in to about his chest, coming to sit next to the female. "So, your tinder profile only said so much, tell me more about yourself. Hobbies, favorite prey," He spat out a couple ideas, hoping that the conversation would mostly be led by her. He definitely was not one that was good with conversation, nor talking about himself. | OOC: |

She watched with intrigue as Azazel followed her lead, his inky figure submerging into the warm embrace of the springs. Once again, he came to a stop by her side, his height making Aelin feel like a dwarf as he sat and the water lapped at his chest. She tried not to let her gaze linger on his body for too long, trying to avoid the curious thoughts about what it would feel like to curl up against him on a cold winters morning. These were incredibly sappy thoughts for her to be having, she wondered if Azazel would ever share her secret love for simple things like that. She would have to find out for herself.
"So, your tinder profile only said so much, tell me more about yourself. Hobbies, favorite prey," and so it began, the tedious task of really getting to know one another. Aelin would oblige of course, though she had never been a massive fan of talking about herself for very long. "Well..." she began, honeyed eyes dancing over the blue waters in front of her as she began digging for answers to his questions. "My favourite prey would have to be quail. Fat quail. The feathers are a bother to get past but the meat underneath is definitely worth it." Aelin answered the easiest question first. She had always loved quail, though they were difficult to catch at times, making it a delicacy for the she-wolf to enjoy. "As for hobbies, I like walking through nature and just observing everything around me. I also love sun-baking in the morning when everything is still quiet and peaceful. Oh, I'm also interested in healing, y'know, with herbs. My mother taught me a few basics when I was really young," she had never intended to ramble quite as much as she did, but once she had begun talking everything just started to spill. It was surprising how relaxed she was around Azazel. She barely knew him, yet he was so easy to talk to. It was nice. "I also love to go swimming," Aelin added with a smile, using her muzzle to playfully flick a small amount of water at her date.
"What about you? Tell me something about yourself, tell me anything." Aelin quizzed, taking the spotlight of the conversation off of herself. They wouldn't get very far as a pair if it was only her doing the talking, she needed to know something about this guy before she decided if she could see herself going any further with him.

| The large brute listened to the smaller female as she started off with her favorite prey. He watched her, yellow eyes looking over her as she spoke. He could imagine being curled up on a cold night, staying in a den instead of going outside. Enjoying the warmth of each other. It reminded him so much of his past courtship with Francesca, but he immediately shooed the thoughts of the other female away, knowing that he shouldn't compare Aelin to her. Especially since Aelin was more interesting at the moment. She spoke of her hobbies, all matching what it looked like she would do. He smiled a bit at that, although the smile faded into a straight line. The male had never really expressed much emotion towards others, so it was hard for him to open up. He didn't want to appear too keen and too eager to the she-wolf, because that would scare her off.
As she asked him about himself, he felt a little out of place. He had never really talked about himself. It had always been about the other wolf in the equation. But now she wanted to know something about him. Taking a moment to think about it, the male looked over at her, daring to meet his yellow eyes to her honey colored ones. He took them away for just a moment, using his paw to swirl the water that was currently keeping the two of them warm. "Well... I come from a family that's battle driven, so we've never really had much to do hobby-wise... But I do like going on walks. It helps clear your head, and its nice to always have company to chat with you," He said, looking towards her. "I'm a pretty plain wolf," He chuckled, looking towards her, a bit nervous to say the least. He didn't want her to find him boring. His ear twitched slightly, catching the sound of scratching, more than likely that of some food. "Would you care for a bite to eat?" He asked, completely changing the subject. It would relieve some pressure that he was feeling, especially when it came to trying to impress girls.

It seemed that Aelin was able to prompt a small smile to sneak onto her date's lips, a sight that was easy to miss in its fleeting existence. It was strange how a simple smile managed to make a tough wolf like Azazel look so soft. As soon as it disappeared, she longed to see it again, as if the small gesture was a window into the soul that he seemed to be hiding behind his gruff appearance. Perhaps there really was more to this handsome male.
"Well... I come from a family that's battle driven, so we've never really had much to do hobby-wise... But I do like going on walks. It helps clear your head, and its nice to always have company to chat with you," he responded to her questioning with answers that made a lot of sense. The fact that Azazel had come from a place that probably prioritised strength over emotion was possibly the reason why he came off as being so mysteriously stoic. It drove Aelin to want to crack away at this layer of him to see what lay beneath. Apart from that small detail, he had also mentioned liking walks, which was an activity that she could see herself doing with him. How cute would it be to just walk for hours with nothing but the company of someone you loved? The idea brought butterflies to her stomach.
"I'm a pretty plain wolf," he added on, and before Aelin could stop, she found herself saying in response, "Well I think you're pretty interesting," she felt the heat rising into her cheeks, hoping that he didn't think she was being corny. Before she could dwell on it for too long, a rustling caught both of their attention, ebony and ivory ears twitching at the sound that disturbed their date. "Would you care for a bite to eat?" Aelin gave him a smile. "I could always go for some food," she replied, the thought of getting something to eat suddenly replacing the butterflies in her stomach with the sensation of hunger. Besides, it would be interesting to see if Azazel would take this as an opportunity to show off.
