| The black male was currently residing in the Mortiul Hunting Grounds. After being taken into the pack, he had complied to be there for the sake of Aspen having a safe birth, and not being killed. He couldn't stand the thought of losing her, and it seemed that the Mortiul wolves understood that. He took a moment to look around, not finding any herbs. Instead however, he spotted the hulking frame of Abaddon, one of the resident Mortiul wolves. Solex was not currently at the defensive, but if the male were to approach further, he would give him a sneer. "What do you want?" He would ask.

Abaddon stalked through the commons, his dark face set in a hostile glare. Irritation crawled over his skin like ants, his body practically burning with it. The buzzing activity in the pack had left the brute surrounded by chattering voices and various annoyances. Perhaps it was trivial. Nonetheless, the towering bastard felt like dry scrub grass just waiting to ignite. The situation, of course, wasn’t helped by the appearance of an ebony shape - Solex, one of the Ferus wolves currently residing in the commons. As Abaddon approached, the other male’s face curled into a sneer. “What do you want?” he growled. The brown brute stopped, his gaze lying blankly on Solex. Nothing. His claws curled into the rocky soil beneath him. He looked out over the commons for a moment, feeling that heat beneath his pelt rise. Who does he think he is? Blood began to roar in his ears in a distant rush, the sound as familiar as the filling of his fangs sinking into the onyx male’s flesh would be. He could stand to blow off a little steam. Who better than the arrogant, scornful foreigner? Abaddon huffed, taking a few steps forward as if to pass the other male by altogether. Then, with his muscles flooding with the tension and priming that came from years of training, he would aim his strength into ramming his shoulder into Solex’s flank. His goal would be to use force to knock his opponent off-balance before giving into the bloody instinct already buzzing in the back of his mind. * If he successfully connected with the ebony salutary, Abaddon would attempt to take advantage of the male’s hopefully-unbalanced state. He would twist his neck sharply to the side, sharp teeth flashing as he would attempt to lock onto his opponent’s scruff with his powerful jaws - so that he might prevent Solex from twisting to attack him in turn. * If he was unable to knock the other male off-balance, he would whirl out of range as quickly as his large frame would allow. Solex’s build was more agile than his own, which Abaddon knew from years of experience would make him a dangerous opponent. If he made it safely away, he would take on a defensive stance, keeping his large body low to the ground. His legs would be tensed beneath him as he watched Solex with glittering golden eyes, ready to spring away - or forward. Salutary Solex

| Everything made the brute want to simply walk away, to move away from this encounter as quickly as he could. But alas, stubborn was Solex’s greatest attribute, and he would never shadow it with anything else. He stood there, tensing as the male came closer, ready to lock his fangs with the other. This pack was nothing like Ferus. They didn’t fear him for his size, even if he towered over the other male. They took on wolves no matter what the size, the experience, or the possibility of death. This pack was an extreme version of Ferus. The only reason he stayed, was for Aspen’s sake. So she could give birth to their litter peacefully, and so he wouldn’t lose her. They would make it back to Ferus soon, he knew that much. He talked to her, telling her they would do it. He could poison them all if that bitch of a Salutary from Ignasia didn’t know herbs. He could get away with poisoning, killing and getting rid of the pest that lingered in the mountains above his home.
All he wanted was to bring his pups back, to see Semira. To see Miyu. Hell, even to see Jay. The bastard that had stolen his sister’s heart would be a welcomed sight at this moment. He wanted so badly to be back in his den, teaching Miyu how to use which herbs, to show her how to sneak certain herbs into prey to give to Rizeal so her stomach would be doing flips and she would be stuck in her den, with a terrible stomach ache that would shut the young bitch up for a few minutes.
He was here now, and as he had been thinking of his home, the male’s shoulder connected with his. But Solex didn’t stagger. Instead, he let the male connect his fangs with his scruff. Solex, before settling for herbal remedies than blood battles, was a great fighter, even combat with Thatcher had been a rather even match. He only winced a bit at the pain, trying to ignore it as he countered.
Whipping his head back, he would try and knock the male’s into his shoulder blade, or at least near it. Wincing at the pain that would come, but it would daze the other. It wouldn’t be hard enough to damage, but hard enough to get the other's teeth to unlatch from his scruff. However, if he were still clinging, Solex would simply drop to the ground, rolling away from the male, trying to get his scruff out of the other’s mouth.
If that were to finally happen, he would back up slowly, a snarl forming at his lips. If even after his rolling, the male had prevented his teeth from letting go, or locked once more around Solex’s scruff, he would snap around and aim to bite at the face of his opponent, trying to get him to just fucking let go.

It was with some satisfaction that Abaddon felt his teeth lock into the other male’s scruff. His opponent hadn’t staggered, disappointingly, but the attack had connected nonetheless. Now, the brown-and-gold brute’s fangs sank deep into flesh. The faint taste of blood danced on his tongue, the familiar flavor of earthy iron centering him in the fight. He could feel the edge beginning to fade from his fury, but there was no backing out now - especially not as Solex’s head whipped back and Abaddon felt his cranium being thrown into his opponent’s shoulderblade. The sharp crack of bone-and-flesh on bone-and-flesh jarred the mountainous brute, sending his bloodstained fangs wrenching out of Solex’s scruff as he staggered dazedly. Abaddon swore violently. He was furious as losing his grip, but he respected the other male’s tactics. Blinking his eyes back into sharp and clear focus, he regarded the ebony salutary with a feral grin. “Nice one,” he rasped. Speaking during a fight wasn’t usually his style, but this male was easily on his level - perhaps even above it, if he was being honest. If this threw him off his game, it was worth a shot in the dark. There was hardly a breath following his comment before he aimed to strike once more - this time aiming for his opponent’s legs. To grab ahold of one of Solex’s hind legs could put him out of reach of some of his opponent’s strikes, while also altering the Ferus salutary’s balance. * If he was able to grasp the limb as he dove forward, keeping low to the ground so as to avoid Solex’s maw, he would lock his teeth low - near the ankle. His fangs would grind deep into the thin flesh as he wrenched his head upward, bringing the limb up with him so that he might once again attempt to knock the male off balance. * If he was unsuccessful at getting in close enough to firmly grasp the leg, he would reach out a viciously clawed paw to aim a hard swipe into his opponent’s flank - one that might rake and tear down his side, with enough luck. If he wasn’t in range at all, he would give a snarl of frustration, his amusement with the other bastard’s skill wearing thin as he crouched low, preparing to take the defensive.

Solex vs Abaddon
Solex - First Post (No attack made this post)
Abaddon - First Post +1 Clearness | The attack's Abaddon made were clear and easy to understand. -1 Unrealism | With Solex being so large, the possibility of grabbing his scruff after bumping . +1 Realism | Acknowledged that Abaddon is not as agile as Solex.
Solex - Second Post +1 Fairness | Allowing Abaddon's attack to hit +1 Realism | Acknowledged the pain of Abaddon's attack -1 Unrealism | The first attack where Solex tries to hit Abaddon's head onto his shoulder blade is creative, but unrealistic. +1 Clarity | The proceeding attacks are clear and easy to follow.
Abaddon - Second Post +1 Fairness | Feeling the pain of Solex's attack and having it inhibit him for a few seconds -1 Unrealism | Trying to attack an ankle with a wolf that is 3'5" is highly unrealistic -1 Unrealism | A claw coming up to hit Solex's flank would be highly difficult as Abaddon is crouched to slow to the ground to attempt his first attack
Scores: Solex: 2 Abaddon: 0
