Breezy took a hesitant step towards the outskirts of the Somnus pack, she had been looking at the packs and decided to try this one. Breezy sniffed the air, catching the scent of so many wolves. The thought of it sent her into a fit of shaking. She was so scared. Breezy crouched low instinctively, nervous about what the pack would think of her. If they were anything like Jay or Caw, her tormentors who had nearly killed her, just the thought made her shiver. She settled down near a large tree, waiting for some patrol to find her, she didn't want to seem hostile. She tucked her nose into her tail, her eyes just visible. Breezy hoped everything would work okay, she really needed somebody to rely on, to trust.

she believed she could, so she did This pack seemed quite the distance from the coastline, most tedious because of the climbing hills. The surrounding trees and lush grass were most inviting, though, reminding her of her birth pack. Soske would have enjoyed bathing in the sunlight here, or rolling through the grass and weeds like a pup. She finally felt like she could stop walking, like this was home and she didn't need to worry anymore. That was, if they granted her access. The lupine hadn't even caught the name of the pack on the way here, much less anything about them. On account of her sense, Soske could only decide that there were quite a few other packs around the area, miles apart. The rich, dominant scent at these borders only reminded her that she was a lowly rogue and stunk of delinquency.
She was not the first here, Soske had quietly bypassed a cowardly wolf that seemed to also await someones presence. The lupine was hardly timid today, though. She felt free and alive, a crisp howl ringing into the atmosphere in order to alert the pack. While her attitude had been dominate and irritable towards the wolves she had met by the ocean, Soske reminded herself that she was now at the low end of the hierarchy. This wasn't fun and games anymore.
As the she-wolf took a seat within a pretty clearing, she began to contemplate why she really came here. What were her motives? Looking for a pack just to find shelter was a sad excuse to get her kicked out. Her reasons weren't all that impressive, though, which she found distressing as she thought more about it. Soske just wanted to find a place were she belonged in the world. She wanted people to see her for who she was; she wanted to make friend who brought that out of her. Perhaps a pack couldn't promise any of that, but at the moment, the idea was so sweet she could almost taste it. Soske wanted to be important to someone.

Breezy hears another wolf pad close by her. She see's the wolf wait in a clearing within thicket not far from her. Breezy hesitates but decides if she is waiting for a patrol anyway, why not go join someone else? The she-wolf is a white and brown wolf, and is very pretty. Breezy walks with her head low over to the other wolf. Will she attack, or kill her? Breezy hoped not. "Hello, I'm Breezy, mind if I join you," Breezy asked, barely audible. She sucked in her breathe while waiting for a reply. Breezy thought back to Jay and Caw, would this wolf be like them? Stop it, Breezy scolded herself, she needed to get out of that mindset. Make room for the things that add beauty to your life Merida hadn't settled well with the fact that Azaelia rarely needed her. Percy had convinced her that their journey to find their sister over the past year and a half was some sort of rescue mission, but it was Somnus that rescued the siblings. Merida still held her dignity as she continued to serve the pack in as many ways possible, and had gone so far as to deny a title. She did not want to be limited to one job. She wanted to help with anything and everything. Today, she put on her vigilance and acted as a scout. How fun! From what her nose had gathered, there were three wolves here. One was confirmed by a crisp howl that echoed through the western border. As she came upon the western border from the elevated hills near the outskirts, she could make out only one figure. It was only upon closer inspection when the others came into view, both hidden in the tall, soft grass, curled up into balls. It was impossible to make out their forms. She was outnumbered, but rarely did a wolf stop at the borders who meant any harm. Those seeking violence wouldn't be waiting for a patrol to greet them, and judging by their mixed scents, none of these wolves were related familiarly or by blood. This was her test. Merida approached a timid looking she-wolf who had her face tucked into her tail. Not too many yards away was the other shy wolf. Only one of them seemed to disregard the fears of stepping so close to packlands. She resisted the overbearing grin she could feel pressing against her lips. Only a genuine, but reserved smile made way. For her own safety, she had to act like a superior. She did her best to put on a more dominant stature than she was used to, but she could not excess the elevation of her tail. "I know your business here. Very bidding times lay beyond the border, and I expect that you are all prepared to offer your services, should we welcome you. But first, I'd like to get to know you."She took a few steps closer. She was an interpersonally inclined lass, and loved to make conversation. She had all of the tools she needed to assess one's character, but she used them carefully. She wanted to know exactly who she was talking to, and what their intentions were. With so many pups around, Somnus couldn't afford any deceptions. "I'm Merida. Consider me a friend for now. Tell me, who are you?"

NOTES - Before the 2-month timeskip, Ocean told Merida to check the borders. Because I didn't have a chance to post before that skip, we can just assume that Breezy showed up after the timeskip!

Breezy stepped foreword, putting on a brave but calm face. She dipped her head to the new she-wolf. "I am Breezy, what ever you want for me to do I will do all the way, all I have ever wanted is protection, or a home, and I will give my services," Breezy replied. Merida seemed to be not much older that her, but of coarse she deserve upmost respect. Breezy swished her tail, she would be delighted to serve Merida and her pack. If this was what Somnus was like, she couldn't wait to join. She wondered what she would be, she had heard of warrior, or hunter. Those jobs would be exiting, but any job would work.

she believed she could, so she did The lupine was startled out of her thoughts as a voice beckoned her, that of the cowardly white she-wolf she had noticed earlier. "Hello, I'm Breezy, mind if I join you?" Soske was taken aback for a moment. Perhaps she didn't expect the wolf to have the balls to approach her. And, as per usual, Soske was never a good talker around strangers. Alas, it was probably ideal to get acquainted with wolves that she may be spending the rest of her life with. Soske nodded in greeting, offering a slim smile. Before she could introduce herself, the scent of a pack wolf grew strong within her nose. The lupine immediately got to her paws, assuming a docile position with her cranium low, a subtle wag of her tail.
A pretty white lupine cantered into the area, finding her way somewhere in between the three rogues. She was rather small, compared to herself anyways, but seemed around her age. Soske curiously wandered closer to the wolf, taking a seat nearby where she could hear her. "I know your business here. Very bidding times lay beyond the border, and I expect that you are all prepared to offer your services, should we welcome you. But first, I'd like to get to know you." she began. Soske made a face. It couldn't be worse than living among a bunch of unpredictable rogue, fighting for literally everything. The lupine took another look around, expecting to find another pack wolf to join the scene. Nothing. Wasn't it rather daring to be assigned to border patrol alone? Especially considering she was outnumbered by 2 to 1? Soske couldn't count the pup she had noticed, that appeared innocent and naive as she listened to her.
"I'm Merida. Tell me, who are you?" Soske's attention snapped back to the lone she-wolf. She waited patiently as the others introduced themselves: the pup by the name of Nala, looking for shelter, and Breezy, also looking for shelter. Apparently the excuse to just look for protection wasn't as uncommon as she though. Still, to her it sounded like a poor plead to be accepted, and she had to think of something better than that. " I go by Soske. I'm here looking to make friends," she wanted to wince as the words came out her mouth, knowing she was being a little revealing. "-As well as applying my well-rounded skills to use other than for myself." she finished nodding carefully. "Is there anyone I could play with?" Soske resisted the urge to roll her eyes. A pup couldn't apply anything to a pack other than the headache of trying to teach it properly. The she-wolf momentarily wondered where Nala had even came from before turning her attention to Merida, awaiting her response.

Aha! Gotcha! After hours tracking and chasing, the alabaster female finally caught the flying creature. With the lifeless feathery kill dangling in her mouth, Spirit was about to head back to the cozy cave, when she realised her surroundings were all unfamiliar. No longer was she in the breezy, wide patch of grass. Surrounding her were towering, majestic trees. Where was she? Befuddled, Spirit blinked a few times. Oh no... This can't be happening.Confusion was instantly overwhelmed by worry. The usual calm one was beginning to panic, really panic. "Nooné!?"The first name that came to her mind was her longest companion, the Iberian. No, no, no, I can't lose him..."Chet! Knox!? Astro!?" Her friends. They were all gone. Spirit had lost all of them. When full reality struck her, Spirit began spinning in circles, howling as loudly as she called. Each time she did so, her calls became much more desperate. Finally, the tears came. She let her hunt drop to the floor with a soft "plop", and a soft weep escaped her maws. This can't be happening.Along with her sadness, was the flashing image of losing her own family in the snowstorm. It hurt. Now that she had lost her own friends too, Spirit felt her fragile heart shatter again. Sobbing uncontrollably. Spirit flopped down to the ground, pressing her ears against her skull. She was all on her own again. Days passed as the yearling took shelter in nearby caves. Everytime she set off, she followed her instinct, in hopes that it would lead her to the group of rogues. No sight of them yet. With each paw step, Spirit felt that she was wandering further and further away from them. Oh, why did she have to wander off on her own? Why did she have to chase that useless bird?As she continued padding on, she felt every bit of last hope drained out of her. She was never gonna see them again.Ears drooped, Spirit lowered her head, ignoring the fantastic view of the mountains. If only she was here with her friends... In the distance, she heard voices: "I know your business here. Very bidding times lay beyond the border, and I expect that you are all prepared to offer your services, should we welcome you. But first, I'd like to get to know you." With teary eyes, Spirit lifted her head, to catch a glimpse of a group of wolves gathered together. Border. Or so Spirit had heard. Did this happen to be the territory of a pack? She wasn't sure what to think. The last time she had ended up in a pack, she began to feel homesick. Spirit had left to find her lost family, but to no avail. Maybe I should give up? Wait, no, I can't.Unsure, Spirit still made her way towards the group of rogues. As she got near, the same voice floated to her ears: "I'm Merida. Consider me a friend for now. Tell me, who are you."It was the alabaster female with a brownish belly who had spoken. Surrounding her were three others: A snoozing young teenager who seemed to be half Spirit's age, and two older ladies. At the voice, the youngest's eyes flew open, introducing herself as Nala. She was followed by the two others, now known as Breezy and Soske. Standing just a few meters away from them, Spirit knew it was too late to turn back now. Last to join them, Spirit was last to speak: "Name's Spirit. I'm here looking for company. I can offer some of my hunting skills as well."@nala Breezy Soske Merida

Make room for the things that add beauty to your life She had already become invested in the three wolves addressing her respectively by the time some stomach-turning howls echoed into the borders. It wasn't long before yet another ivory figure stepped into the clearing, but this one didn't seem at all aware of where she was. She had registered the responses of the rogues before her. Nala was a pup looking for protection. Merida would be vile to deny her the shelter and guidance she needed at her age. Somnus was about acceptance, Merida had gathered. Yet another pup would join the rampancy in the commons, which was nothing to complain about. Merida loved the little ones. Breezy, too, was looking for protection, but she offered her services in return. She had made pack life sound more like a government than the family it was, but she realize her error as soon as she was met with the commpassion of their leaders. Soske's response caused a flag to form at Merida's tail, and a grin to peel her maw. If she hadn't come here looking for her sister, Merida's answer would have been the same. She noticed the discomfort Soske subtly displayed as a reaction to her vulnerability. Familiar. The ivory wolf from the shadows had finally made herself present to the acting scout. Her name was spirit, and her response was really no different from anybody else's. Nobody struck had struck her yet, but perhaps Soske had sparked Merida's ever-apparent interest in companionship. But her concern fell on the newest member of the conference, Spirit. She appeared in a daze, hardly aware of her surroundings, barely attentive to the fact she had stumbled upon pack borders, and now she wanted to venture beyond them in pursuit of friendship. It rendered suspicion, but Merida would express her curiosity as politely as always. "Are you sure about this, Spirit? You hardly seem to know where you are." Merida did her best to conceal a giggle, but all ever attempts at minimizing her gleeful radiance had failed. "Well, if it's company you're looking for, this is the place, I promise you," Merida smiled, before respectively running her vibrant, pink, eyes across each individual. Merida couldn't assess any of the rogues' skills herself. Not here. She was faced with the challenge of judging these rogues based on their perceived personas, and their rather uninspiring responses--besides Soske's--and their worthiness of entering the commons for further inspection. She knew her sister well, twice an alphess; once of Somnus. She knew her sister would engage outsiders with polite sternness, and give themselves the opportunity to prove their loyalty and their abilities to the pack, but would not hesitate to turn one away should they fail to meet her expectations. Merida didn't have the power--no, the guts to turn somebody down from a wonderful opportunity like this. Especially a pup. She would have to hand those matters to her sister, or anybody else willing to assist Merida on her first recruiting mission. A light, but nowhere near subtle voice approached her ears. "Is there anyone I could play with?" Merida didn't ry to resist her chuckle this time. "The family is teeming with spring litters. We appreciate any abled bodies who can help hunt and protect our young, or entertain them," Merida began, eying Nala playfully towards the latter of her suggestion. "And I'm sure you're aware of the new rendezvous that's begun to attract friendly rogues. I would love to have a few helpers patrolling the area." Merida sat herself down. She wasn't ready to bring these wolves into the commons yet. She was waiting for a sign, any indication that this was the right choice. If it wasn't, all of Somnus could have to pay for it. This was Merida's first big assignment, and the anticipation was deadly. "I apologize if I have deceived you. I do not have the power to admit you past these borders. But because I like you all, I am happy to bring forth a superior who can assess you more formally than I can. Excuse me," Merida smiled through the way, and proceeded to lift her maw into the sky for the most resounding howl she could muster, directed to her packlands. She needed a wolf of authority to advance the investigation. Mayerthu approaches the Somnus pack's western border outskirts hesitantly. She knows that it's a decent pack, all rogues do. But she is nervous about how the other wolves will take her. She approaches with her head high but also with her ears lowered in case there is an alpha present. She glances to her left and blinks slowly seeing a group of wolves gathered together. She continues to saunter towards them attempting to appear nonthreatening. She sees the other wolves and realizes that all of them are younger than her. She lowers her head and dips her shoulders to the others unsure of who belongs to Somnus and who are rogues like her. She growls nonthreateningly "My name is Mayerthu. You don't know me very well but I can promise you unwavering loyalty. I've seen the abuse of power in many packs over the years and though it still hurts my heart to think of it... I've let my anger go in hopes of finding a permanent family." With those words she closes her eyes and lays on the ground. Completely submitting herself to the other wolves. She hopes that they will believe her and accept her for she wishes to train younger wolves so that they might be more prepared for the future. She flicks her ears, all her years of experience are screaming at her that something evil lurks on the horizon. But what that evil is, is unknown to her.

It had been a few slow weeks, having spent her entire time traveling while still keeping up her strength for the children that were growing inside of her. Her belly had become very swollen over the two months that she had been travelling to find Jolon, to tell him of their creations and for the pups to be born with him present. She couldn’t do this alone again, she never wanted to. He made her feel as if she were able to do this, but without any Salutary by her side, nor Jolon anywhere to be found, the she-wolf had broken down many times, crying herself to sleep as she had night terrors that plagued her of her first litter. She was trying her hardest to keep herself together, to keep the litter safe for the sake of her mental state, her own physical health, and to be able to show Jolon that he indeed had pups that were his. She wanted herself to be happy, and for their future pups to be able to know the kind and gentle soul that was their father. She had finally caught something, someone having mentioned a pack nearby. Maybe she would try there, see if they had seen the male. From what she had heard, this pack was extremely nice, and would be the perfect place to find Jolon, or at least she hoped. Most packs were not like her previous one. Most valued family and friendship over blood and power. She hoped that if she came to this pack, she could find out more information, even if it were having seen him in passing on the borders. As she came upon the borders, she saw that there were quite a bit of wolves there, her eyes falling wearily on the ones the opposite side of the border. It seemed that they were wanting into the pack. Hopefully her approach would not startle the pack wolf. Even if it were to, Lakaiya’s swollen belly would be indication enough that she was not in any condition to gang up on her. “Hello I was wondering-” As she started speaking, a sudden pain rushed through her. It was not one of the pups kicking. It was the start of contractions. No. Now was not a good time! She needed to get information from these wolves, not birth newborns that would slow her down from finding Jolon. But she was too late in her search, and they wanted out. Giving a cry of pain, she looked to the pack wolf. “I-I’m sorry,” She said, as another wave of pain rushed over her, her legs buckled underneath her, but she pushed herself up. She looked to the pack wolf, pleading for help. She didn’t want to give birth, not here. Merida @nala Breezy Soske Spirit Mayerthu Alphess Eureka @jolon ITS HAPPENING AHHHH

- the constant happiness is curiosity -
As Eureka passed over into the outskirts that had lead to her fate many months ago, she felt the surge of who she was at her core. She was a survivor. She was the heart of Somnus, the face of everything that had happened to her family. She was their guide and teacher, mastering the art of clearing her mind of its emotional plagues, enjoying her intellect rather than suffering through unresolved thoughts and memories. As she traversed through the subtle movements of spring flora, she was seeing through her senses more greatly than her eyes. She didn't feel sorrow as she came upon the historical borders. She felt pride. The world was her home now, and no matter how it treated her, she had to conquer it.
It had been an entire season since she'd greeted wolves at the borders. Meeting the potential additions to her family was a divine pleasure, one Merida had so kindly taken upon herself. Eureka approached the servant's side. She was much older than the alphess, and was treated with the respect of the seniors, and in return Eureka was treated as her superior. Somnus understood the translucence of family and nature, where Eureka was respected by law; Merida, Percy (questionably), Azaelia, Ocean and Murdoch were respected by nature. This flow of understanding was the origin of Somnus' unique constitutional hierarchy.
Eureka approached Merida slowly, Draco surely distant behind her somewhere, and pressed softly against Merida's shoulder; since the alphess had gone into labor, Merida had not seen her. Nobody had. She would not want to startle the kind, lighthearted scout."You can relieve yourself," Eureka sighed with a smile in Merida's direction, a delicate gesture of thanks. The humble scout was very brave to take on five, and now six rogue subjects at the borders on her own. She noted the very pregnant she-wolf entering the clearing. What a tragic coincidence. There was nothing else that Merida could do now. The rest was up to the alphess.
"Merida has keen eyes for good souls. I do not believe she would call me here if you were not worthy of facing me," Eureka began, addressing the six rogues with a posture fit for an alphess. Finally, she had returned. It had been a long, tiring, doubtful, and deadly journey, but she made it. Nobody was more certain of this than herself. "My name is Eureka. Welcome to my domain." This would have been where the alphess extended an invitation to the trials, where the rogues would all be tested in the hunt being prepared by Jolon. But did things ever go to plan on Somnus territory?
"Goodness!" Eureka yipped as the gestating female nearly collapsed to the ground. But she picked herself up, carrying herself even through labor. Just as Eureka did when her time came. But this was no time to be impressed. This girl needed help, and bringing her to the commons, to Murdoch and the apprentices, was the only option. "Hold tight, brave girl. We'll get you to the salutaries right away."
Eureka locked eyes with Merida and attached herself to the rogue's side. She pointed her muzzle the opposite direction, urging Merida to hold her other flank, and began escorting her safely to the commons. As she walked, she nodded to Draco. He needed to stay here and handle these rogues. Frankly, Eureka had lost interest in them. All she cared about was saving this girl, and lives inside of her.
--Exit to Common Grounds-- Notes
*Lakaiya has a special event item that allows her entry into somnus. this means we can only accept, at most, two more females into the pack. This decision is up to Alpha Draco *

A young wolf, trying to enjoy all the good in life

Post by Sage on Jun 17, 2019 4:32:41 GMT -8
The green mountainous terrain was the first thing that Sage noticed when she came to the border of a pack. She also noticed some very large scratch marks on some of the rocks, she looked around making sure no larger animal was going to leap out at her. As she examined the scratches, she saw some paw prints on the fresh mud on the floor, she paw prints were huge compared to hers. She heard a growl somewhere not far, she opened her eyes in fear, her ears instantly flattened against her head, she looked to her left to see a relatively small mountain lion standing on a rock just a few meters in front of her. She let out a gasp, looking to every direction to try to find help. Lucky enough for her she saw a few wolves huddled in one area, she noticed one of them was the she-wolf that she saw earlier, the one that got mad at Raven.
Her attention was brought back to the mountain lion, who let out a loud growl, taking a few steps towards Sage. Sage, took a few steps back, she was trying to show as much weakness as she could, to then claw at the lion and hopefully get away. She knew the idea was crazy, but she was crazy enough. She quickly gave a glance to the direction of the wolves, noticing that one wolf, who seemed pregnant was already entering into the pack. Sage took a deep breath, the lion was now a few feet in front of her, she shakily took a brave step forwards before letting out a loud growl, baring her teeth she pounced and bit the lion, afterwards scratching the area near its eye.
After hearing a whimper coming from the animal, she bounced back, just to have the lion jump at her. Sage fell flat on her back, letting out a loud a bark of pain. She felt a wave of pain come across her whole body as she realised that the lion just bit her left leg. She closed her eyes as tight as she could to try to calm down from the pain. As fast as lightning Sage raised her head and bit the front leg of the lion, who again let out a whimper.
The lion let go of Sage's leg, giving her the perfect opportunity to make her escape, but as soon as she got up, she fell back down, noticing all the blood pouring from her leg. The lion, regaining its strength began to make its way back to the she-wolf who was now calling out for help. "GUYS! PLEASE HELP!" She managed to claw and bite the lion a few more times before crawling as far away as she could, the blood still pouring out of her leg, she knew the muscle was ripped and maybe even the bone was broken. Each time her leg made any contact with the ground, a quiet cry came out of her mouth. Guess who is about to die right now? She thought, but was quick to notice that the small lion was also bleeding, it looked a bit uneasy, which Sage took as the opportunity to scare it away by letting out a loud growl. Not caring about the pain in her leg, she stood higher, lifting her tail, and baring her sharp fangs, letting out a louder growl which echoed. The mountain lion looked like it had enough, it was all bloody and cowardly ran away, still letting out small whimpers Sage smirked before another wave of pain hit her causing her to wobble and fall on her side, letting out a huff. She was overwhelmed, she just 'defeated' a mountain lion, even if it was rather small. She couldn't believe it! She started to lick up the wound, knowing that it was worthless. She began to get up once again, taking a few small steps towards the buddle of wolves, they weren't too far, surely they would see her. After a few more steps, Sage collapsed, whether it was due to blood loss, exhaustion or both, she didn't care all she knew was that she blacked out.

Mayerthu stands to her feet as the young she-wolf is brought across the border and into the pack. She wags her tail in satisfaction knowing that she and her pups will be taken care of to the best of the pack's ability. 'What more could a mother ask for than security for her pups?' She thinks outloud. She turns and pads back to the group. She perks her ears up noticing that the yound pup Nala is missing. She immediately begins looking for her as motherly instincts take over, she rushes past the other wolves and pads away from the group about 50 tail lengths away and she sees blood. Rushing over she at first thinks that the pup is hurt before realizing that it's a new she-wolf instead. "Nala go back to the others and get them... the more paws the better, she may not have much time left, I will try to stop the bleeding but her wound is deep" she sniffs the she-wolfs leg briefly, inspecting it. She can see the blood pooling onto the ground and begins to worry. She begins licking around the wound to get a better judgement of how big it really is and discovers a horrendous gash. She's never seen a wound this large before so she assumes it wasn't caused by another wolf. Mayerthu begins pacing nervously and lets out a howl of impatience. She licks the wound to keep it clean unsure of what else to do at this moment but feeling immensely inadequate. She presses her snout to the wound to apply pressure like she has done in the past to smaller wounds to slow the blood and it seems to be helping some though how much is unknown to her. She continues to apply pressure in hopes that help will arrive soon.

"Are you sure about this, Spirit? You hardly seem to know where you are. Well, if it's company you're looking for, this is the place, I promise you," the pack wolf gave a little giggle. Spirit watched as all of Merida's attempts of hiding her amusement were proved futile. She must had noticed how Spirit had suddenly appeared, looking absolutely stunned after having teared up a little. Thinking back about it, Spirit did find it sort of hilarious. While everyone else seemed to know where they were and were all certain of their intentions, there came Spirit, a confused-looking yearling. The sort which probably a pack should think twice about before welcoming beyond the borders. And yes, Spirit did accidentally found the borders of Somnus's territory. However, she was now certain about joining the pack. Her goal had always been to find her family, perhaps, this was the family she was looking for. With a soft chuckle, Spirit nodded firmly in response. "Yes. I stumbled upon the borders by accident," she admitted, looking a little guilty for not even knowing where she was. "But I've now made up my mind. I'm sure about this.""My name is Mayerthu. You don't know me very well but I can promise you unwavering loyalty. I've seen the abuse of power in many packs over the years and though it still hurts my heart to think of it... I've let my anger go in hopes of finding a permanent family." another rogue, much older than Spirit, joined the group that had gathered. She was covered in a beautiful coat of charcoal. Her speech intrigued Spirit. Abuse of power in packs. In her short lifetime, that was something unheard of for the young one. Spirit found herself looking up to the elder. Perhaps Mayerthu could teach her more about these packs next time. "Hi, I am Nala." the alabaster pup seemed more than happy to greet the new wolf, and instantly curled up next to her. As Nala drifted away into a snooze once again, Spirit felt warmth spreading in her heart, and a smile doing the same on her snout. She was so adorable. Spirit had came a long way from being Nala's age. She would love to play with the pup, and relive her pup hood as well. "You can relieve yourself," another pack wolf had arrived. From the way she had dismissed Merida, Spirit could tell she was one with much higher authority, a superior. There was that 'Alpha' air around her. "Merida has keen eyes for good souls. I do not believe she would call me here if you were not worthy of facing me, My name is Eureka. Welcome to my domain."she introduced humbly. Spirit tipped her head respectfully. Yet, another cream wolf appeared, her belly protruding out prominently. “Hello I was wondering-I-I’m sorry." an agonising yelp erupted from her maw.She was pregnant. Worry and concern struck Spirit all at once as the she-wolf doubled over, her snout written with agony. The Alphess, along with Merida, swiftly pressed her back against the pregnant rogue, guiding her to their salutaries. Before they left, Mayerthu picked up a stick for her to chew on. "Here bite this, it will give you somewhat of a distraction from your pain and don't forget to breathe." Spirit's respect for her doubled instantly.
There was a soft thud in the distance. Spirit swooped her head around, gasping. There on the ground, lay a collapsed she-wolf. Nala seemed to have noticed it too, and began barking wildly. Spirit scrambled over to where the motionless figure was, calling back to the others: "Help!! There's an unconscious wolf here!"
