Ah! The first spring season TPR has ever seen! We hope you guys enjoy the new vibe. Here's some notes that may help you transition from a long winter into a beautiful spring, as well as some promising OOC updates. 1. Puppies! Spring is puppy season. In fact, I love the timing of all these litters that were just born! This also means that your wolves might be getting a little frisky. Females might start building a den for themselves if they are interested in having a litter this season. 2. It's getting hot in here So take off all your clothes! Your wolf's inner coat is shedding as spring preps him/her for the heat of summer. Your big bad fluff ball might not appear so swoll anymore. 3. Fauna & Flora Wolves aren't the only animals that get spring fever. As animals have woken form their hibernation, and are out looking to reproduce, your wolf will notice more game teeming around the map. This is especially important since we will see an influx of puppies who need to be fed, and recovering mothers who need to pack on a few. Also, with spring being the season of bloom for many important herbs, your salutary wolf will notice more availability to medicine. Refer to this amazing, ancient herb guide if you have a salutary wolf. 4. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! On the topic of prey, staff are currently working on new prey and predators to add to the site. We're planning on introducing a unique animal or two to each territory. So far, only Somnus has been accounted for, who is now seeing wild horses roaming their lands. If you have any ideas, let us know! 5. Timeskips It is up to individual RP groups and packs what they do with their timeskips, if they need to have one. We find this a good way to have a quick, easy IC transition from winter to spring. This is essential for packs since their dynamics completely change each season. 6. Going on up - Aging Any time we switch seasons, we allow up to 1 year of aging up. I know it seems silly since a season is three months, but seasons take much longer to circle on TPR because of all the plots and character development. DM me if you want your character to age up at all so I can update the homesite! 7. New Territories The new territories being added to TPR does not stop at the renovations you've seen in Somnus and Ferus. It's still a work in progress, but staff are working with Mychael (@nereus ) to put an entirely new TPR map together! Both packs and rogues will have new, unique territories to explore sometime this year.
