O V E R V I E W
Welcome to our 2019 Creative Contest! This year's theme is, you guessed it, Starry Nights! You can interpret this however you want; outer space, night time blues, yada. If you can't find any muse with our theme, no worries! You can submit anything you'd like even if it doesn't fit our "theme." It just adds a little fun to the event :3

DATES
The board will unlock on September 1st. This is when you will be able to create your thread. The winner(s) will be announced on September 30th.

THEME
We use themes to help our creators with inspiration, and finding muse for whatever talent they'd like to submit, but following the theme is not a requirement. Really! You can share anything you'd like! 

REWARDS
All participants will be rewarded 500B for each piece they submit.* Members will receive 50B for each comment they post on a fellow member's thread. The most-liked piece's creator will be awarded an additional 1000B and a choice of our Starry Night themed eye colors:

1. Bedtime Eyes: Central Heterochromatic combination of navy blue and silver, with a subtle hint of orange, red, or yellow. Your eyes will look like a galaxy!

2. Starry Night Eyes: "Sparkling" navy blue eyes. They seem to shimmer in the moonlight. Your eyes will look like a starry night sky <3

R U L E S

SUBMISSIONS
*You may submit TWO pieces, maximum. However, the two pieces must be different arts. For example, you can submit one writing piece and one art piece, but not two of each. Many people have multiple talents, and we don't want to limit you to just one!

COMMENTS
All participants are required to post a positive comment on at least two fellow members' threads! If no comments are made, you will still receive your participation award, but you will not be eligible to win the contest. We want to ensure that all participants feel welcome, and that their talents are recognized.

Comments may not criticize nor critique the work, else they will be removed and the commenter will lose all rewards, including the participation reward. Besides, you will win 50B for every comment you make, so what's the harm! Please note, so as not to take advantage of this, you may only comment once on each thread.

VOTING
Our voting system is simple. Click "like" on any piece that you like, except your own of course. You can like as many pieces as you want! Be aware that you cannot "like" on multiple accounts. This is cheating. Any double-votes will not be counted, and excessive cheating will result in elimination from the contest and revoking of all rewards. The piece with the most "likes" will be the winner.

TIES
It is quite possible that there will be ties. In fact, it's even possible that all submissions will get the same number of votes! Regardless on the number of "winners," all pieces with the most votes will win. If everyone gets 20 likes, everyone gets the main prize! Please note that if two pieces by the same person get the same number of likes, that person will not get two main prizes. A participant can only win a maximum of one main prize.

F A Q

WHERE DO I SUBMIT MY PIECE?
On the main contest board, create your own thread. Title it the name of your work, if you have a title. In your thread, you can post a direct URL or insert a video/image, or upload a file, to whatever you are submitting. If it is a writing piece, you can paste your writing directly into the thread. As long as viewers can access your piece from your thread, you may upload it however you'd like!

WHAT CAN I SUBMIT?
Literally any creative talent! Taxonomy, photography, singing, writing, line-art, tattoo art, crafting, whatever! Anything you are proud of deserves to be seen.

CAN I SUBMIT SOMETHING THAT'S OLD?
If you have a piece that is dear to you that you really want to show off, like a book you've been working on forever, go right ahead and submit it. Art takes time, and we don't expect masterpieces to be created within the limited time of the contest. If you have not submitted it in a previous contest, you are free to submit it for this one.

CAN I GET THE COMMENT-REWARD IF I'M NOT PARTICIPATING?
Yes! Even if you are not submitting anything, you are still welcome to comment on the threads! The comment rules apply to you as well, so you are still limited to one comment per thread. This means that every TPR member should be participating in the community whether or not they are submitting anything! ^.^

CAN I VOTE IF I'M NOT PARTICIPATING?
Yes again! Please do interact with your community members by viewing their work and giving a like to all your favorites!
