Adoption Rules [PLEASE READ]

The adoption board is a very popular place for wolves to be put up for others to apply for to roleplay on the forum. Litters that are born on site, or cool character ideas (such as siblings for existing characters, a trio of characters and more!) are always put up here. However, there are some things that you need to know about adoptions before you post your thread.

ADULT CHARACTERS
Any character that are being put up for adoptions as adults, must have an application sent in for them by the roleplayer should they be brought onto the site. If the application is not submitted, the character cannot be created until an application has been put in and reviewed by staff.

LITTERS
Litters should include all the necessary information for the pups, including a pup appearance and an adult appearance, as well as everything else included in the skeleton at the bottom of this post. (some exceptions can be made example: the parents want the future roleplayers to submit a personality for the pup they choose)

CHARACTER SLOTS
If you have more than three characters, the same rules on site for creating a character apply here. You must buy a character slot for every character you adopt (or use one that has been earned from an event). 

AFFECTS/SPECIAL ITEMS
It is up to the character creator to decide whether they want to buy any special items for their character, or if they'd like the adopter to make the purchase. Of course, this is only relevant to new characters who do not yet exist in roleplay, and thus have not purchased items already.

APPLYING ITEMS
When you apply items to a character, please make sure that you submit a form for it, or let staff know that you have earned it from an event. We expect that you're honest, and if you are not, we will take action as necessary.

ONGOING ADOPTIONS
Please make sure that when you post an adoptiong thread, it goes under the "Ongoing Adoptions" board. If you post it in the wrong board by accident, let staff know and we will gladly move it for you!

ARCHIVED ADOPTIONS & ADOPTION EXPIRATION
Archived Adoptions are adoptions that are done and finished. When you want your adoption archived, please tag staff so that we can move and lock the thread. If an adoption has been up for more than 2 months, it will automatically be moved to the archived area of the adoptions board.
NOTE: Even if the adoption has applications, it can be moved to the archived adoption section. Adopters do not have to choose someone that has applied just because they have applied. We encourage that you choose adopters you feel will fit the character best, and not just out of necessity.
