You find yourself looking into an abandoned hallway, bones scattered around your feet as a torch is held between your teeth. Every paw forward, only sends shivers down your spine. The candles sitting on ledges only add to the eerie glow that illuminates the hallway. You move forward, every pawstep you take, it echoes off the walls. Why does it sound like those pawsteps are coming from further away? You stop in your tracks, head swiveling around as you look for any other source of life that could possibly be walking alongside you. But there's nothing. You move yourself forward once again. You're not alone. Feeling like spiders were crawling up and down your spine, you pick up the pace, starting to run as you realize you are not alone in this corridor. Without thinking, you drop your torch, it clatters to the ground, and the fire flares for a second before slowly dying off, not having anything to burn as it had reaches its end. You rush down the corridors, hearing the footsteps behind you as you move. You soon came to a dead end. You whirl around, waiting as you stare fearfully in the dark. The footsteps were growing closer. And closer. And closer. You scream as a figure appears, not even looking to see who it was. "Does my costume scare you that much?" a pristine voice says. You look up to see that its none other than Violet, one of the friendliest wolves you have ever met. She had a witch hat sitting upon her head, a small black dot underneath her lavender right eye to accommodate what were commonly known as "warts". A small burgundy cape draped across her back, a broom swishing next to her as she looked at you. "Dang it! Aelin and I have matching costumes too! I hope that the kids won't be frightened. Anyways, I was coming to find you to ask you if you wanted to join in on Spooky Stories!" She speaks, voice dancing with happiness. "Come on it'll be fun!" RULES You are allowed to submit up to two spooky stories for the contest! They must be submitted by October 31st to be considered in the contest! Any and all members are welcome to participate! It doesn't have to be scary or terribly spooky, but something Halloween-y is the theme we're going for! VOTING If you like a piece, leave a like on the post. The post with the most likes at the end of the voting period will be considered the winner! The voting period will be from October 1st-November 10th. PRIZES All participants will get the choice of 500B, 250  or 125 tickets for the raffle! For every piece that you comment on, you will earn 25 . You will not earn any CA by commenting on your own thread, but will earn CA for every positive comment you make on another participants thread. The top three pieces will receive the following choice of items: 1. Melanism - allows for a wolf to be completely black (everything on the wolf is black, even including the tongue!) 2. Vampire Fangs - allows your wolf to have fangs that poke out from underneath their upper lip. 3. Rare Event x Rare Event Heterochromia - Your choice of two rare event eye colors! The most voted piece will get to pick their item first, the second most voted will then pick, and the third most voted will then receive the item that is not picked! |
