TPR is finally about to change seasons. For those of you who have been here since we moved to Proboards (or if you're a staff member and have been here for 1000 years) then you'll know that we've been stuck in summer for years! Well, friends, fall is coming. If you didn't know already, season changes are a big deal, not only for the RP but for the work that goes into it. With a season change comes a massive sitewide remodel on both the homesite and forum. This means we'll also be needing a new banner.
What We're Looking For:
Take a look at the digital art on top of the forum or on the background of the homesite. We want to keep the banner calm and easy like the images we currently have, however the color scheme will need to change. We'd like to see dark reds, mahogany, auburn, etc. The colors should not be bright. There should be one or more wolves in the image, and should be realistic-looking as shown. You may be as creative as you'd like, but be sure to include the features we've stated! (:
How to Submit an Entry
To submit an entry, create a thread on this board, titled as you please. Enter your image there. If you don't know how to get an image saved onto your computer onto here, you can send me the image via email and I will post it, or if you have a file hosting account on sites like Dropbox, Photobucket, etc (I suggest imgur.com - no sign up required, fast uploading), upload your image onto that website, copy the image URL, and then insert the image in your thread.
How It'll be Judged
Unlike all other contests, the staff will be able to veto a member-based popular vote since the staff are head of design. For example, if members vote 1st place on a banner but the staff think someone else's banner fits what we're looking for, the member-voted nominee will win the 400B but the site will use banner of the staff-chosen nominee for the new design. We will announce the winner on December 26th!
