Caw! Caw! Cawwww!
The pupils in his grey gaze dilated as he intently observed the ravens just a mere ten yards ahead of him. He could see them picking on the remnants of a deer carcass. Brutus didn't even realize he was drooling until his saliva landed on his paw. Impatiently, he shook his head and snapped his attention back to the birds in front of him. With his tan and black mottled coat, he blended well into the dry underbrush. The birds had no idea they were being watched, that they were about to be driven away from their treasure. Brutus raised himself slightly from his laying position in the brush, ready to pounce...
CAWWWW! CAAAAAAWWWWWWW!
The birds flew away in a panic despite the fact that Brutus hadn't moved a muscle. Confused and wary, Brutus lay back down and cocked his head to the side. Several moments passed until Brutus discovered why the ravens had abandoned their meal. A wolverine had wandered on scene. Baring his teeth in frustration and disgust, Brutus arose and turned around. He would just have to find dinner somewhere else.
Brutus wandered along at a leisurely pace. He was in no rush to reach his destination, mostly because he had no destination in mind. A wanderer, Brutus had been on his own for three years. Three very long, lonely years. Certainly, he had met with other loners along his travels, but he only hung around long enough to discover if his former pack was still looking for him. In the last several months, Brutus had discovered that no one even knew anything about the pack he had left. Finally, he had journeyed far enough that he could live in peace... Or as peacefully as someone who had a taste for mayhem and chaos could live.
Nose twitching halfheartedly, Brutus moved along through the woods. Absorbed in his thoughts of his past, he barely noticed the scents he picked up as he wove through the trees and underbrush. Squirrel, weed, something long dead and decayed, wolves, a bird's nest -- Wait. Wolves? Brutus stopped abruptly in his tracks. Lifting his head, he set his nose to twitching furiously as he tried to learn more. How many were there? How far away were they? Were they friendly? Was this pack territory? Perking his ears up, Brutus listened carefully and continued testing the scent in the air.
There seemed to be at least four wolves ahead, quite possibly more. To his dismay, Brutus determined that they couldn't be more than a quarter of a mile ahead. He had wandered much too close. That's what he got for letting his thoughts get carried away... Focusing again, Brutus honed his senses to the immediate area. There was nothing to indicate that this was formal pack territory, so Brutus could only assume that this was a band of rogues.
Not quite a pack, but certainly more of a threat than a lone wolf. Brutus took a step backwards. His instincts warred inside of him. His sense of self-preservation screamed at him to run, but his longing for companionship, for a sense of belonging... The pull was strong. Surely it couldn't hurt just to observe from a distance? Decided, Brutus wandered forward, much more cautiously this time. Once he could hear the conversation clearly, Brutus lowered himself to the ground and peered through the brush to the scene unfolding before him.
In his limited field of vision, Brutus was able to see a light colored she-wolf laying next to a dark male. Brutus started to wonder if this was their alpha until he caught movement out of the corner of his eye. Ears automatically flattening to his skull as a tremor of fear coursed through him, Brutus realized that he had been incorrect. This monstrosity in the corner of his field of vision was most certainly the alpha. Brutus found his heart racing as he noticed the pits of his black eyes. Run, you fool, RUN! His instincts were screaming at him to get out before being discovered, but his fear held him immobile in the brush, unable to move even an inch.
Brutus held his breath and hoped that the thudding of his heart that was so deafening in his own ears couldn't be heard by the group in front of him. A gentle breeze ruffled his fur, and that was when Brutus realized he had made a fatal mistake: he was upwind of the pack.

As new wolves approached Adramalech- poor creatures, with no idea what waited for them- the massive female trailed quietly behind the demonic alpha, molten gaze sweeping the trees around her, waiting for the dark brute to give her orders. Eugh. Since when do I have to take orders. I should be the one giving them. The warlike female considered it an insult, to be at another's will, when she had been renowned and feared from where she came. Pressing her scarred ears back in irritation, she mentally recited for the umpteenth time the reason she was allowing herself to go along with the obsidian wolf's commands (the prideful female would not let herself acknowledge that it was, in fact, because she had no choice- for she had been beaten in battle with him). You shall aid him, fight with him, let him learn to trust you, and when his pack gains power, you will too. You will grow strong, if you can only tolerate being under his command long enough.
She rumbled in detest, but keeping this motto in mind helped her keep her fat mouth under control, though she still resented Adramalech's lack of recognition of her strength and fighting spirit. Her black- and- silver pelt, patched with numerous scars, was proof of that- each one telling a story, each one a badge telling of a battle that had failed to kill her. A mark of pride where the foreigner had come from- but it seemed to mean nothing to the wolves here. Ako snorted quietly in disappointment. Unfortunate.
But she drew herself from her thoughts as the scent of yet another wolf floated across her nose, but this one was not one of those who had revealed themselves. Scarred muzzle crinkling, she traced the scent's source to a tan wolf, standing not far off, watching the proceedings. None of the others seemed to have noticed him yet. Seeing a chance to gain favor within the higher- ups of the pack, the cold brute made up her mind. Throwing a glance at Adramalech, Ako's powerful legs carried her over to the fear- stricken male in a few strides, where she stopped before him, in a dominant pose, intending to use her broad stature to intimidate him, sizing him up with narrowed eyes. "As you seem so interested, why don't you come over and say hi?" Ako's grin was less- than friendly, as she jerked her head back towards where the group was congregated.

The huge black brute knew that in a place so large as this, there would be many wolves approaching him and his large group, probably thinking that they were friendly. That was the complete opposite, and if Adramalech had any fleck of emotion for others, he would have felt sorry for the two wolves that Suki and Beelzebub were approaching. But, he didn't feel that way, simply because he was needing more wolves for his pack. He needed to get them moving, but his sister had not proposed a hunting plan, so he himself would have to do that after Suki and Beelzebub were finished. However, he wouldn't get the chance to relax and think before another wolf approached, seemingly looking to talk to the large black brute. His ears flicked slightly as he listened to what the female had to say. It seemed she was wondering why his large group was here, and he almost wanted to tell her to go away. But maybe this curious one would be useful. Looking towards her with eyes void of emotion and color, he took a moment to assess her before deciding to reply to her. "And why does it matter to you?" His question was void of emotion, not containing any sort of hint on how he was feeling. He would not show emotion to anyone, and it suited someone of his stature to do so.
Bringing his attention towards Ako, who was straying away from the group, she was taking a dominant position, and standing over another wolf. Growling, he looked towards the white female. "Don't get any ideas. We'll talk in a moment," He said, then trotted over towards Ako and the male that was now present. Bringing his large body to barge into Ako, he would push her aside and glare at her, knowing that she would submit if she wanted to live. He then looked to the cowering brute. Pitiful. A male wolf should never cower unless he was a complete idiot, or weak. Of course, anyone was weak in his eyes, and he never would view another as stronger than him, or strong in his eyes. He could only view Beelzebub that way, and even then, he thought his brother was not as strong as he portrayed himself to be. "What is a pitiful coward like you doing here?" He asked, looking towards the brute with stone cold eyes, the black depths piercing through the male wolf, waiting for a reply. He knew that he should not stay too long with this male, as he needed to discipline Ako for stepping out of line, as well as readdress the white female that approached. There was a lot of commotion right now, and he could hardly handle all of it at once or he would grow very short with the wolves around him.

The more Brutus observed the huge black male with the soulless pits for eyes, the less he paid attention to the world around him. Which was why he was caught by surprise when he was approached by a scar covered silver-and-black female. Her dominant pose, narrowed eyes, and seemingly sarcastic words sparked Brutus' admittedly short fuse. The fact that she was taller than him did not deter Brutus in the slightest - he was accustomed to most wolves being larger in height. What Brutus lacked in height, he more than made up for with his broad barrel chest.
His anger building -- how dare this female act superior to him? -- Brutus opened his mouth to answer her when he realized that he had made yet another mistake by not keeping track of the ebony monster. Suddenly, the black wolf in question was right there before him, clearly putting the female in her place. While Brutus could appreciate this brute's firm treatment of the weaker sex, he was quite aware of the disgusted pity on the large male's face -- disgust and pity that was directed at Brutus. Then the rumble of his words reached Brutus' ears. Pitiful? Coward? Brutus narrowed his grey gaze at the midnight wolf before him.
"Is that any way to greet a guest?" Brutus' gravelly voice carried a certain rasp to it from disuse. He drew himself up, though he stood a over a full foot shorter than this black brute. Raising his hackles ever so slightly to appear larger than he was, Brutus continued, "Besides, I fail to see how my presence here is of any concern to you. As far as I can tell, this land belongs to no one." For the first time, Brutus met the massive wolf's intimidating gaze. "Not even you."
Brutus attempted an air of calm and glanced back at the female who had originally addressed him. Slowly, he sat down and cocked his head to the side. His hope was to bring the leader's attention back to his insubordinate female rather than on himself. Brutus hoped his attempt at nonchalance would be accepted. Holding back his anger at being so insulted by this complete stranger, he worked at maintaining his calm. Fighting was not something Brutus ever engaged in. Brutus would rather use his brain than brawn, mostly because his small stature left him at a disadvantage.
The smell that hung over this band of wolves had Brutus feeling uneasy. The longer he spent in close proximity to them, the more the scent bothered him. Brutus couldn't quite place it; he knew he had smelled this before, but it was a faint wisp in his memory. All he knew for certain was the scent was made of evil. The darkness surrounding the scent piqued Brutus' interest, and despite his uneasiness at its origins, he was also quite curious. Perhaps this was where he would be able to wreak the havoc and chaos that had plagued his soul.... If the leader didn't kill him first.

The black male that he had approached seemingly didn't know his place, it would appear so as Adramalech were to receive words that were not something that one wanted to say to the demon Alpha. Sharp black eyes swept over the other black male, klnowing that even if this was not Adramalech's territory, but the brute did not want to accept the type of tone that the other was giving him. It was wrong for another wolf to be treating Adramalech in such a way, and this male would be ripped apart in seconds if he knew how powerful Adramalech was. This male acted like he was entitled to whatever it was he was seeking, but in reality he was weak, and would not stand a chance against Adramalech or even the pudgy female that had approached the smaller black brute. Looking over his smaller stature, although he had muscle, it didn't compare to Adramalech's force and strength. He could take the black wolf on, no problem at all. Bringing his attention to where the brute was now staring, it seemed that the others attention was turned towards Ako. Adramalech did not care what the female wolf would think about him getting between the two, but she needed to know that approaching any wolf would make the stronger one rather suspicious of her actions. She had already been a wolf that wasn't likely to be loyal to him, and he knew that if he even let her make her own decisions, or approach anyone that could help her either escape or help her form her own little alliance among his pack. He was not allowing anything of the sort to happen. Adramalech wanted his plans to go smoothly, and for his pack to thrive. They needed an omega like Ako in order to do so. Someone that others could simply beat the living hell out of for fighting purposes. Bringing his attention towards the black brute, he growled. "Staring at my subordinate is not something I'd advise you to keep doing," He said, looking around as he said so. He made sure that his voice was loud enough to hear. "Any wolves that venture into the vicinity of my pack will show respect to us, or they will be killed," He said, looking towards the black male. "You are not a 'guest' in my eyes. You are a trespasser. Let it be known that I despise trespassers," The low growl that he had rumbling in the back of his throat brought a threatening tone to his voice, springing forth the idea that the soulless beast was not below killing. "Now," He said, turning towards the black one once more. He knew that by now the male would either grasp the concept of Adramalech's power, or would stay oblivious to it, and become food for his pack to eat. He hadn't eaten wolf meat in some time, but maybe refreshing everyone's memory of how ruthless he could be would benefit him. Although, he would want to see if this brute was even worth killing in the first place. "Tell me why you decided to try and approach my pack. Oh, and if you have any intention of leaving," He let the words roll of his tongue smoothly. "Too bad. You belong to me now." .:: @suki @beelzebub @lilith @ako @princessbailey @koda @zephyr @vivaldi ::. .:: > ::.

Eyes dulled with boredom, nose inhaling the unusual scents of the dry woods, ears tilted as she surveyed her surroundings, releasing an unhappy snort. The bitch trotted to the outside of their little group, scouting the area being a natural habit, gaze looming over the new terrain. The snow would return soon, it would return with a vengeance and drown the valleys with its suffocating cascade of white, filling the world with its bone aching chill. The she-wolf licked her lips, a shiver running down her spine in excitement. Bellatrix loved the cold, the winter weather that left the world in white, it was the perfect back drop for split blood, it made her victims all the more noticeable upon the snow.
The bitch eventually looped back round, reappearing beside her companion of sorts, a gentle swoop of her tail at the others flank alerting Lilith of her presence. “Winter is soon to arrive, marvelous winter.” She exhaled, trekking forward with the rest. Eventually they did come to a stop. Thankfully, they wouldn’t be staying for long, but instead a hunt was to be pursued.
Adramalech would speak
"Lilith, if you would, come up with a hunting plan,"
Her gaze drifted over to the younger one, hunches lowering to a sit.

A torn right ear flicks as she notices a female break rank and trot over to another rogue, posturing in a display of traditional intimidation tactics. Despite the presence of another rogue, she does not turn away from the black brute of an alpha. Prioritizing was a simple task, and she knew she could handle any threat some simple loner presented; her scars were not just for show, after all. The alpha, on the other hand, was a challenge she was not sure she could handle - it was only logical to ignore one situation in favor of the other. Vivaldi supposes that such a lack of emotion in the face of another should unnerve her; this wolf behaved as though he were above everything, but Vivaldi can not find it within herself to be afraid. Cautious, yes, and even now he commanded respect from her...but all wolves bleed red, even if they acted as infallible as gods. She wonders if his wolves had ever seen deep red drip from his pelt that didn't belong to another. Of course, these were just idle thoughts; she had no intentions of, or reason to, pick a fight. She was confident, but she was not imbecilic, and this wolf was out of her league. It does not surprise her when he turns away before she can offer response to his words, tail tip flicking just-so; the only visible sign of amusement she allows when she hears the words don't get any ideas. Well damn, now I have to put away all my ideas of coup d'etats, she thinks wryly to herself, with not just a little sarcasm. Guess I'll have to settle for trying to earn a place here. Now that the larger wolf had his attention focused on another, the pearly toned bitch freely observes the budding confrontation. She first analyzes the silver female, lips turning down in a frown as she observes her methods of dealing with the male rogue. Posturing was all well and good, and useful for reminding wolves of whom was where in the hierarchy, but...that tended to only work if the lesser wolf knew you. Vivaldi doesn't understand why one wouldn't open up with at least a demeaning bite to the muzzle - put a little fear in them first, then raise your tail all you want. Perhaps it was simply her time with her first pack that made her think this way - where the security of your position depended on fear - but she still cannot shake the disapproval. It certainly didn't help the darker bitch's image when she is shoved away by the larger wolf, but she cannot glean the stranger's position here based just on that. Every wolf was lower than the alpha, so she could be anything from an omega to a hunter. She'd have to learn more later. If the silver lupess had put a frown on her face, the brown rogue makes her curl her lip in disgust. It wasn't even his fright that spiked such a negative reaction in her, it was the fact that he did nothing but cower. In the best wolves, fear drove them to action - fight or flight was basic instinct in a predator. To freeze up like that - like a mouse in the sights of an owl - it was so very... prey-like. However, what pisses her off the most is the ignorance. His presence didn't concern them, when he was clearly there to observe this group of wolves? He chooses to be confident now, when he actually has something to fear? It was...inconsistent. Irrational. It frustrates her logic-based mindset, and her lips curl further - enough to expose the slightest sliver of fang as her eyes stay on the tan brute. The beginnings of a snarl morph into a wry half-smile as the alpha firmly delivers a reality check to the smaller rogue. It was an odd reaction for sure; for all she knew, she would be treated as a possession as well. However, it was reassuring to see someone so confident in their authority, especially after years of uncertainty and weekly challenges. Her time with such an unstable pack had granted her the skill she so values, yes, but it had also bolstered her value of structure in a pack an unusual amount. It was only instinct to be satisfied with an alpha's strength; after all, in any pack worth its salt, the leader was a representation of the whole. She wrinkles her nose a tad as she realizes she had already shifted this stranger into the category of 'alpha.' No decisions had been made yet, and she should not assume shit.

Adramalech roughly barged past the silver female, throwng her a glare with his soulless black eyes- he seemed displeased with her to say the least. So much for gaining favour. She averted her eyes from the Alpha's, keeping her head down and pressing her ears to her skull, though it burned her pride to do so. She bit her tongue, aware that her tether grew thin and that she was likely to say something that she would regret. Soon... just be patient. Ako waited, aware that it would be unwise to move until she was addressed, and observed the confrontation. The silver bitch found herself lightly amused at the newcomer's nerve- and relieved. The thing was going to get himself shredded, but it would take some of the heat off her at least.
Out the corner of her eye, she caught him watching her- and receive a sharp retribution form Adramalech for it. He went on to inform the ignorant male what should have been obvious- and, with a jolt of surprise, she realized that he the dark Alpha had mentioned to respect even her- it was the first time that he had shown anything other than tolerance at best pertaining to her. Even if it may only be because Adramalech saw her as 'his', it was still an improvement, right? Being a member of his pack automatically made her higher in rank to him than a rogue at least, she supposed.

When the leader of the group growled and, put mildly, expressed his disapproval of Brutus trying to divert the direction of the conversation, the small brown and black male decided he needed to do some quick thinking. This situation was spiraling out of control -- so much so, that Brutus was honestly surprised that he wasn't dead yet. Thinking over the last few years of his dismal existence, Brutus debated whether joining this band, even temporarily, was a good idea. On the one hand, Brutus desperately craved companionship, as much as he outwardly disliked others. The problem with being alone is there is no one to actively dislike or pick on. Of course, there's a flip side, too. Being alone means no one will pick on you.
Taking his eyes off the female, Brutus focused his disgruntled gaze on the ground. Submission seemed to be the path to survival, so Brutus would just have to play along if he wanted to escape with his life. Then the brute's next words met with Brutus' ears. Brutus closed his eyes for a moment to hang on to his composure. He knew he had lost. He could hear the threat thinly veiled behind the leader's words. He would tear Brutus to shreds if he didn't do exactly as the black male wanted. Knowing that he had sparked the temper of the brute, Brutus decided that he had to tread carefully. Especially now that this ebony monster wanted to know why he was here. I'm actually supposed to answer that? Not that it's any of your business...
Brutus knew better than to voice his thoughts. Lowering his hackles and flicking his ears back, he focused his gaze on the ground at the alpha's feet and hoped that his answer would be enough to save his life. "I am from a distant pack. A place far from here. I have been alone for many years. The scent of your band.... intrigued me."
Then the rest of the huge male's words sank in. You belong to me now. Baring a single tooth for a half a second and narrowing his eyes just as briefly, Brutus cursed himself and his stupidity. Great. He might as well be dead, because now the demon wolf had taken his life anyway. Things were not going according to plan. Taking a moment to analyze the rest of the wolves present, Brutus noticed a pearly silver she-wolf watching him from a distance with disgust. What is it with these stupid she-wolves and their lack of respect for us males? Brutus moved on from her and, seeing nothing else of interest, brought his attention back to the ground in front of the leader's feet.
Despite the loss of his freedom, Brutus still desperately hoped he would be allowed to live.

Suki, albeit slowly, regained control of her emotions. Huffing as she did so, the Delta pressed into standing, leaning against her larger counterpart. The entirety of her body ached, protesting against her new pregnancy. "They'll be beautiful - the finest things you've ever created." Suki rumbled in brief approval, nuzzling her mate’s nape, before guiding oaken eyes back to hellfire. Each orb was drooping, bloodshot with exhaustion - not that it would stop the narcissist. Though the idea of bearing the glorious young was exciting in itself, the side effects of such weren’t as lovely. The physical signs of her pregnancy began to sink in, while at one point the frosted dame appeared thin, almost sickly, her weight looked average now. Sighing, she eyed the rest of the pack. They’d have to be successful in hunting, the health of her unborn young depended on them.
Shaking an alabaster cranium, the dame forced energy into her protesting limbs. A sickly grin curled across pretty features, hushed giggles practically pouring from a half open maw. "Take your pick, Suki, left or right?" Glancing at the two options, it seemed one of them were reluctant to play. A small loss, but disappointing nonetheless. “Oh Beelzebub,” She spoke coyly, swaying toward where the runt sprinted. “Don’t you know I have a roaming eye?” The fear stricken scent of the youngling was enough to guide her toward it. Alas, the scent tugged at something else. The infamous maternal instinct yearned to comfort the child. Grunting with obvious displeasure, the pregnant bitch ignored the annoyance. Now, standing a foot or two away from the roots the kid was so tightly nestled in, her grin faded into a soft smile, the same one she used against the sweet Elysia. Glancing at her mate, who no doubt was snickering a few feet away, she urged him to back up with a flicker of her tail. This was her game.
“Hey,” She said, inching closer to the roots, before pausing, and scooting into a laying position a safe distance away. “I’m gonna be blunt with you,” She huffed, a ‘sympathetic’ look spreading across her face. “You won’t get out of this territory a free wolf.” For a second, she let her voice waver, a small drip in tone, aligned perfectly with her smile dropping. “I didn’t.” Clearing her throat, she shook her head. “Look, this isn’t a place for a young wolf; but you’re kinda stuck now. If you find me, I can make sure you stay unharmed.” With that, she stood up, and whisked away.
Beckoning her mate, she giggled once they returned to somewhere out if hearing range for Koda - if Beelzebub even followed, of course. “Now we wait.” She giggled, playfully pawing at his stocky limbs. “But I’m still bored~” She whined, looking about with a mock pout, before oaken orbs landed on a rather pretty female. “Oo..” At this point, whether her mate accompanied her or not, the bitch couldn’t care less. Pregnancy aside, since her arrival in the group, confidence soared. The leech like clinging to her mentor was no longer necessary; she’d been taught well.
Her paws travelled lightly across the terrain, as if there were no extra weight straining the bitch. Tail tip flickering high, a few inches off the top of her back, Suki stole a glance at Adramalech, reassuring herself that her positioning was below himself. Despite the constant verbal disrespect she sent his way, she’d practically vowed her life to his cause. It seemed the Alpha was dealing with two nuisances, Ako, and a new male - who seemed to be giving every female around the dead eye. Snorting in contempt, she diverted off her path, curling around the small group. Stopping by Ako, she whispered sickeningly into an smoky ear. “What’s an Omega like you standing so tall for?” Her voice was sweet and light, but the thinly veiled threat laid so haphazardly beneath. She spoke loudly enough for the new male to hear. Everyone should know of her pathetic rank, no matter how idiotically Ako attempted to hide it. Looking at Ako’s lowered body position, a soft squeak of joy, followed by a chorus of giggles escaped the Delta. “Good girl.” She praised loosely, as if Ako were merely a pup. With a final wink, she toddled off once more - that is, if the Omega hadn’t made a dumbass decision.
Taking her time, the frost bitten bitch meandered in a long loop around the newcomer, eyeing the pretty female. “We’ve got a lovely one, have we?” Suki sneered coyly, her eyes hungry, tail flickering. “Well, you pretty little thing, what’s your name?” She cooed, pausing her circling in front of the bitch. “This little tough display you’ve got going,” Suki winked, frosted auricles dancing atop a thin head. “It better last. The rest of the females around here are just so disappointing.” Now, the Delta was just rambling, resuming her circling around Vivaldi. “I think I like you, newbie.” She grinned, cackling softly. “But,” She stopped once more, a serious expression drooping over sleep deprived features. “Don’t step out of line, unless you want to end up like the” The chorus of maniacal laughter returned, despite the discomfort radiating from her torso. “Omega over there.” Suki gestured to Ako with a swift flick of her muzzle, composing herself.

Miyako
With the carcass clamped tightly in her dainty jaws, dirt tainted feathers writhed and fluttered as Miyako pranced over outstretched roots and dodged around the stiffly straight trunks marring her path. Paws danced on the dirt, stirring a fog of golden dust around her feet as she moved. The round plumage of the bird hung from either side of her lips, obscuring whatever was below her cheekbones and making her duck and tip her head so she could see whatever laid ahead. Inclining her muzzle toward the ground, the tortoiseshell bitch inhaled deeply, searching for any scent other than the overpowering one of aged bird meat. The fumes from the carcass were intoxicating, building a mix of desire and disgust as the smell began to sicken her.
Past the scent of bird meat came the usual smells: evergreen trees, little scurrying creatures and... wolves? Miyako jerked her head back up in surprise, a look of shock filling her face. That was new. The only wolf she had seen in this area was Inferno. Come to think of it, she hadn't met many other wolves during her time with the stony lupine. It was as if the two had been repelling the other wolves around them like magnets, so this was quite the surprise. A nice surprise at that.
Dropping the ball of feathers, Miyako took another whiff of the air, searching for anything about the wolves. All she could tell was that there seemed to be many, all sharing a similar scent, as if they had been around each other for a rather long period of time. New friends! Excitement lurched into action inside her brain as she snatched up the limp avian and picked up her path once again, now bounding forward at a much more subtle pace. Inferno was momentarily forgotten as well as the chore she had been assigned as she scurried toward the source of the scent. Miyako could hear hushed voices as she drew closer, muffled by the distance and the foliage between her and them. From the sounds of it, they weren't all that happy with whatever they were discussing, but one could never be too sure.
The tortoiseshell bitch shuffled around a couple of trunks, swerving toward the group with banner already alight and swaying. Magenta hued eyes found the nearest wolves out of many, two lightly hued females who seemed to be conversing. Beaming in her naive little way, the sweetheart jovially trotted toward them, respectfully lowering her ears and waiting until the frosted mother-to-be had finished. "Hi! Is it alright if I join you?" Miyako chirped gleefully, words muffled from the bird still clutched in her jaws. Inviting herself a step forward as, she released the bird before introducing herself. "My name's Miyako!"

Ecru auds swivel towards the demon as eyes wander elsewhere; always listening, but allowing her attention to fix upon the ghostly figure flitting about the clearing. The scarred bitch feels the faint stirrings of...not quite admiration, but something not far off from it. In her travels she had encountered few females with child, but all of them moved as though they carried boulders on their backs. This alabaster lupess must be quite the sprightly thing to be able to move so freely. At least, she assumed the slender wolf was pregnant; the vomiting and smallest of curves lead her to believe so.
Vivaldi watches with lips curled in the slightest of smiles as the snowstruck canine lowers her muzzle to the newly titled Omega’s ear; the giggles that escape her maw were an infectious kind, and to see such childish pleasure in one near her own age is both a delight and an oddity. Striking orange meets an oaken gaze for a brief instant before eye contact is broken as she is circled, the larger wolf tilting her head in an inquisitive manner as the other stops before her. Blinking in rapid succession as she is called pretty and lovely, the pale bitch allows herself to be flattered for a brief instant; it wasn’t as though she had ever received such compliments - even if they were accompanied by a sneer. ”My name is Vivaldi,” warmly toned words fall from a silken tongue, just loud enough for surrounding wolves to hear. In front of the alpha she had been all rigid politeness and respect, but in front of a pale counterpart she loosens a bit; still respectful, but allowing more genuinity to color her words. ”You’re Suki? I heard the dark one address you earlier.” She nods towards the other’s mate, indicating who she meant.
Vivaldi takes a moment to wonder if being so open would be seen as weakness. She dearly hopes that someone makes this mistake; it was always so satisfying seeing the look of surprise on someone’s face as her fangs aimed true. An imperceptible shiver of anticipation rolls down her spine before she forces such thoughts away. Blackened lips pull into a small grimace as the frosted lupess warns of an Omega rank should she act up. She knew that if she were allowed entry she may be assigned an Omega title if only because most packs defaulted new members there, but she had no intentions of staying in such a disgraced position. As maniacal laughter drips from Suki’s narrow muzzle, Vivaldi bares her teeth in a fierce smile that pulls at the pale, near translucent scars decorating her face. ”I’ll try not to disappoint then,” She utters, conviction evident in her tone.
Tapered ears flicker as they register quickly approaching pawsteps, peripheral vision catching sight of a smaller figure with ears lowered. Hi! Is it alright if I join you? My name’s Miyako! The pearly bitch hums, burnt orange clashing with magenta as she smiles with just a few too many teeth. From the looks of it, this was a yearling, which is the only reason she doesn’t snap her jaws at the other for approaching so boldly. The naivety in this young wolf’s actions serve to irritate her, embittering her thoughts. As a yearling she was busy burying teeth and claw into flesh in an attempt to secure a place in her pack. What soft life had this bitch led, that she could afford such ignorance? Jaws clamped firmly shut against the urge to beat some reality into the young one’s brain - it was certainly not her place to reprimand her for approaching, as she was not pack - she turns her narrow head back towards Suki, expression conveying one message.
Please do not make me deal with this.

Despite his darling's currently drained recesses of energy, the prospect of already obtaining a pretty, new plaything had proved too marvelously tempting for her fatigued build to bar. Life poured lavishly throughout languid, thin limbs; a sharp, knowing sneer regarding their revival. Gleeful, hushed giggling poured from her frosted maw as they ambled forwards, glancing between two beckoning prospects. Fear radiated from a minute, fleeting morsel, emitting from each putrid, fetid pore. Enticing, fresh - enough to drive the devil to madness. How disappointing he'd lodged himself between thick, barren roots before he'd given him any opportunity to have true fun. "Oh Beelzebub..." Suki quipped slyly, a similar, dissatisfied sentiment clinging to her tone, heartily unabashed by the brazen pup's rejection. “Don’t you know I have a roaming eye?” Swinging towards his twisted snaking nest, mere inches, millimeters from their prey's hiding place; Suki's pale, thick plume flickered, instructing him to halter further behind. A sharp, contorted smile cracked his clouded maw -he already had learned games such as these remained strictly reserved for her pleasure. Seamlessly, a sympathetic, gentle sadness molded her marbled features, the picture of perfect innocence. “Hey,” she began; a soft, intangible sorrow clinging to each tender syllable. A sharp bite to the tongue stifled his laughter as she flattened her form against the ground; playing every part the poor, well-intending bystander. “I’m going to be blunt with you. You won’t get out of this territory a free wolf." For one faint heartbeat, her voice wavered, presumably weighted by the 'brutality' of her own past. "I didn't. Look," she paused, swallowing the sudden, newly conceived lump in her throat. "This isn’t a place for a young wolf; but you’re kind of stuck now. If you find me, I can make sure you stay unharmed.” Blackened haunches bent in a mock bow as the alabaster she-wolf returned from her performance, granting a strident, giddy stream of laughter permission to pour from parted jaws. What a wonderful production! "Ladies and gentlemen," he jeered the moment they were out of earshot. "Another fantastic acting performance from our sensational, beloved Suki - the character, perhaps, a smidge beyond suspension of belief," he teased, nipping tenderly at her ear. "But what a wonderful portrayal! You keep this up kid, and you'll make it big. But stick with me," he quipped, bumping her right hip playfully. "And I'll make you a star." “But I’m still bored~” she groaned, pawing giddily at his ashen limbs. Understandably so - they could only meander about meaninglessly waiting for petrified young pups for so long - luckily, they laid close enough to Adramalach to find their fair share of entertainment. Sharp, foreign scents permeated their present undertones, a male and female ripe for picking. If he craned his eyes, he could make out the first; the male, a broad, mottled brute stinking of an odd combination of cocky, self-conceited pride and terror. A fear of losing his life, but not to the point that he'd consider showing one sliver of submission towards his captors. An idiot and coward - come to think of it, Ako and him would get along sensationally. Now, the second on the other hand, the female, appeared far more interesting. Strong, lean, and intelligent. A wolf capable of carrying enough common sense to know when to speak, and when to deliver a deft nip to the tongue. Suki magnetized seemingly naturally, captivated by her beauty. Though far from Elysia's classic, elegant beauty, or Koa's gentle charms, it was subtle, equal parts enticing and efficient. Entirely unlike the small, quivering slips of she-wolves they'd lately the misfortune of happening across - a fighter, a warrior strong willed and strong minded enough to fight and flourish by their side - and exactly what Suki wanted. ”My name is Vivaldi. You’re Suki? I heard the dark one address you earlier," she began, dipping a dappled head towards his direction respectively. That was his cue. Wordlessly, Beelzebub lifted himself off long, powerful limbs, propelling himself perpendicular to Suki's position as he began his own counterclockwise loop. "Beelzebub." he interjected, leaving the lion's share of the talking to Suki; lilted, maniacal laughter weaving its way between thin, blanched jaws. Yet somehow, the she-wolf appeared entirely accustomed, responding to Suki's thinly veiled threats with a vow of her own to not disappoint. A sneer curled a coal-dark lip. "We'll see about that." he cackled, shooting a sharp, playful wink her way. "It's only Day One. You've got your entire life to disappoint us." Suddenly, a small tortoiseshell she-wolf burst into the clearing, a bird clutched between slim burgundy jaws. Incredibly young, a yearling at the absolute most, presenting - first prey? Naivety beamed from bright, magenta eyes, a beaming, jovial bounce in each idiotic step. "Hi! Is it alright if I join you? My name’s Miyako!" She chirped, a sweet, gentle smile framing pretty features, inflaming an irrepressible urge to suddenly tear them apart. It was easy, too easy - were bubbly, ditsy she-wolves falling straight from the heavens nowadays? Subtly, a slated tail batted gently behind him; innocuous, silent instructions to remain where they were. Besides, Suki had already had her share fun for the day - now, it was his turn. This was his game. "Of course you can, sweetie!" He yipped, his voice holding a sickly, uncharacteristic sweetness. Whimsily, he widened the width of his circle to include her before drawing back to its original dimensions, but this time, Vivaldi wasn't in the center. "You see, joining is the easy part! We've never had problems having wolves join, per say." He suddenly haltered in front of her, clouded haunches curled in an irritable, angered arch. A faint, gleaming flash of fang gleamed between large, bared fangs as he pressed forward, purposely backing the brindled sweetheart against the base of an oaken trunk. "No, no, no, joining's never been the problem," he panted; shrill cackles rattling throughout his throat. He'd opened his eyes as wide as he was able, stretching his jaws to the point they almost unhinged. "It's the fact that once you've joined," he screeched, shoving her against the trunk. "You can't leave! Never, never, never!"

The vision of glowing ivory watched the trio before her with sharp interest, though the sharp edge of her gaze was lost in the rosy tones of her. Psyche did not miss the smile that crept across the chestnut female’s lips as she spoke, a dazzling expression that widened with each passing word. The alabaster creature couldn’t help but wonder what its source was; she doubted her words had been moving in that sort of way, but perhaps there had been something in her little speech that the pregnant female had enjoyed.
"We can offer a home, a family first and foremost," Marusya said in response to the pale female’s own question. "Then we can offer you safety and protection if you need it, at any time, we offer stability, while we also offer freedom." There was a subtle oddness to her words; there was something so smooth and enchanting about them, as though they had been spoken a thousand times, and yet soft enough that they seemed new to the world. It would seem that this honey-swathed creature spoke with all of Psyche’s own grace - an intriguing concept, in her eyes. "We just ask that those who accompany us, learn the ways of our God, Adjetni, and follow the laws of our ways. Although, you do not have to decide now, we can accompany each other for a short-time, and I can teach you what you want to know, and at the end, you can decide then."
Certainly a family was appealing; stability, companionship. Those things were permanent, however, and permanence was something that had not graced the female in a long year. It was hard to say, in that respect, if Marusya’s offer would be a blessing or a curse. Was she ready for a family, or would she find herself trapped? Yet, there was that other promise - freedom. If the chestnut female and the others with her could truly offer her both of those things, perhaps it was worth it. Perhaps she truly would make her place with these two she-wolves.
Marusya took a moment to grant Stanley the same offer Psyche herself had received. The shy male was quicker to respond; perhaps he had his mind made up the moment the word “family” slipped from the expecting female’s dark lips. "I'd like that very much." The words where followed by a brisk nod - Yes. There. An assurance that his decision had been easy. He quickly asked for the females’ names, a question which quickly received a response from Maleah.
When the short exchange had died down, Psyche took a few steps forward, her head bobbing gently with each fluid stride. “I would very much like to take you up on your offer,” she said, her voice never losing the silken, honeyed purr she had before spoken with. “I do think that I would like to hear more about this god - your Adjetni. If you’d be so kind as to indulge my curiosity.”

Stanley "The Little Things In Life Can Create So Much Happiness."
After a long, awkward pause between the group of four, where only each wolves' soft breath was heard, the hunched nutmeg female huddled against her companions flank quietly spoke up, "Maleah." The sweetest tones hit the teddy bear's ears, the tiniest sway of her petite banner in response to his own propeller of sorts causing a slight flutter of his heart in response. She seemed awfully nice to him, even through the timid exterior she wore, like the type of wolf he would have been glad to travel with when he was alone. At least he would have a chance to get to know her now that he had been accepted into the sorrel she-wolf's little band. Smiling sweetly in a slight effort to make her less uncomfortable, as she seemed rather nervous around him, the colorful brute quietly murmured in return, "That's a lovely name," Stanley kept his vocals hushed, as to not disturbed either of the other two older females who might find his words unnecessary or vexing. He noticed her downcast gaze, only seeing the peak of her emerald green eyes as she stared intently at her toes. He avoided pursuing the after thought of catching her eyes, thinking that such actions would make her more see him as demanding or unpredictable. So he edged backward again, tugging his ears back a tad.
“I would very much like to take you up on your offer,” The smooth tones of Psyche was the only thing that drew his attention from Maleah, gazing buoyantly at the radiant female through multi-chromatic eyes. Behind him, the rich, auburn hued feathers of his tail mussed as he drew his tail into a pendulum-like swing. “I do think that I would like to hear more about this god - your Adjetni. If you’d be so kind as to indulge my curiosity." Ah, yes. That odd bit of speech in between all the joining stuff that Stan had wanted to hear. In his narrow minded moments before, he had only focused on the words he had wanted to hear come out of the sorrel bitch's slim jaws. Now that he had secured a place with some new friends, perhaps it would be a fine idea to learn about this creature she had spoken of in her previous speech. Turning his head back toward the leading female with intrigued eyes gleaming, the teddy bear perked his ears and waited for her words with great focus. This was important, after all.
