The Idea
So this is a huge battle tournament that takes place OOC, however you use your actual characters to battle. Battles are won by whoever ends with the most points (read our "How to Play" thread). The purpose of this event is not only to have a wicked awesome time, but also to give members experience in combat roleplaying, which will help you not only on this site, but on many other roleplaying sites as well, and not just wolf/animal RP sites. The skills you will learn in this event are meant to help you grow as a role-player, a writer, and a cooperator, and to teach you to be a friendly competitor with good sportsmanship.
Competitions
There are three parts of this event: Regionals, Semi-finals, and Finals. Each of these lasts 10 days.
Everyone competes in Regionals. Winners will move on to the next round. Only 3 or 4 of the highest scoring members will move to finals, for a free-for-all. The highest scoring member wins the AoTPR!

Signing Up
Those who post in the sign-up thread will be sent a PM with their pre-scores (info here). Scores are completely based on preexisting character information from your applications. After you receive your score and reply for verification, it will be posted on the Competitors thread where all members can view everyone who is participating.
For each competition, you will be randomly paired with another member via a generator.
Battles
Regionals will take place June 1st - June 10th. Semi-Finals may be June 11th - June 20th. Finals are June 21st - June 30th.
Final prizes are distributed July 1st.
Members can make a total of 2 or 4 posts each battle, as long as you post an equal number of times. If your battle ends too quickly, you may request an extension, but judges need time to score threads. The battles themselves are fought as your chosen character, so they must act and fight the same as they would IC. However, it does not connect with the actual RP at all, and RP will continue normally.
Prizes
- All members who participate in the event will get to keep the scars they earn on their actual character, if wanted.
- Everyone who participates will automatically earn 500B
- Members who win Regionals will gain an extra 500B
- The highest scoring Regionals members will gain an extra 500B
- Members who win Semi-finals will gain an extra 900B
- The highest scoring Semi-Finals members will gain an extra 500B
- The two finalists will gain an extra 1000B
- The champion will win 3000B.
- Yes, you have a chance to win 6,000B, and also some cool battle scars

LOSING a battle IC does not mean you lose the battle OOC! Taking fair losses can grant you points!
