This was adapted from the lovely @signi 's guide that she provided for us a long time ago and I thought to share it with everyone here so that the healers know a realistic herb list we go off of.
Alder bark- (nontoxic) chew- stops toothaches (swamp/near water)
Alfalfa- (nontoxic) chew- prevents tooth decay (forest/plains/mountain)
Aloe Vera- (nontoxic) apply- with gel,cure skin problems or burns (deserts)
Ash (Tree)- (nontoxic) chewed and apply- bite of an Adder or Viper to stave off the effects of its poison (forest)
Blessed Thistle -(nontoxic) crushed, dried, eaten- increases circulation of blood (plains)
Borage Leaves- (nontoxic) eat- used to treat fevers and helps nursing mothers with their milk supply. (should never be used dried, only green.) (forest/plains)
Bramble Twigs- (nontoxic) chew into syrup- helps sleep (forest/plains)
Rosemary Blossoms- (nontoxic) chew into syrup- heals eye infection or to cover up wounds around the eyes or eyelids (plains)
Broom- (semi toxic) eat- helps broken legs and other serious wounds (forest/plains)
Burdock Root- (nontoxic) dig up root, wash, then chewed into pulp; good for cuts and scrapes, especially rat bites (plains)
Burnet- (nontoxic) (cucumber taste) eat; helps wounds heal faster (plains)
Catch Weed- (nontoxic) place- Burrs can be used to help hold treatments (forest)
Greater Celandine- (nontoxic) eat- used to treat ailments of the eyes. Used to strengthen weak eyes. (forest)
Chamomile- (nontoxic) eat- used to calm;leaves and flowers may be consumed to sooth and add to physical strength. (plains/mountains)
Chervil- (nontoxic) chew and/or apply- used to treat bellyache. The juices of the leaves are used for infected wounds, and chewing the roots helps with bellyache. (Plants that are poisonous can look like this) (forest/plains/mountains)
Cobwebs - (semi-toxic) apply- used to stop bleeding but can cause risk of infection (anywhere)
Coltsfoot- (nontoxic) chewed than eaten- This flowering herb is effective against coughs, and the leaves can be chewed into a pulp which can be eaten to help shortness of breath (deserts/plains)
Comfrey - (nontoxic) chewed than eaten- used to treat broken bones (forest/plains)
Daisy Leaves- (nontoxic) If chewed into a paste it can be a useful remedy for aching joints. (forest/plains/mountains)
Deadly Nightshade- (toxic) small dark purple berries that are fatal to young and old (forest)
Dock- (nontoxic) Chew it up and spit it out- Good for making a pelt as slippery as a fish, the leaf can also be chewed up and applied to soothe scratches. (plains)
Dried Oak Leaf- (nontoxic) cover- Used to stop infections. (forest)
Echinacea- (nontoxic) chewed then eaten- Used to ease infection. (plains)
Ragwort- (toxic) - Even though ragwort is used for an increased blood flow, it is highly poisonous. Use yarrow right away. Juniper also helps afterward. (plains)
Ferns- (nontoxic) Used to clean out wounds (desert/forest/plains)

Feverfew - (nontoxic) used to cool fevers and treat head pain. Leaves can be used to reduce fever, in addition to being consumed to aid against colds and stomach ailments. (forest/plains)
Foxglove- (toxic) eat or place- Seeds are used to help the heart, but they can easily cause paralysis and heart failure. The leaves are used on deep wounds to stop bleeding quickly. (Almost always kills) (forest)
Ginger- (nontoxic) eat- used for asthma and coughs (forest)
Goldenrod- (nontoxic) chew and apply- A poultice of goldenrod is great for healing wounds, and can also help aching joints and stiffness. (forest/plains)
Gumweed- (nontoxic) Helps seal wounds from infection and helps to heal the wound quicker (desert)
Hawthorn Berries- (nontoxic) eat- Used for indigestion (forest/plains)
Hedgehog Buds- (nontoxic) Used to treat/cure runny noses (desert)
Holly Berries- (toxic) While not as dangerous as Deadly Nightshade, they are still a danger to young. (forest/mountains)
Honey - (nontoxic) eat- used to treat sore throats. Particularly good for smoke inhalation. (everywhere)
Horsetail- (nontoxic) The leaves of this tall plant can be used to treat infected wounds, usually by being chewed up for a poultice. The sap can also be used in combination with cobwebs to stop heavy bleeding (forest/plains)
Iris- (toxic) Used to stimulate breathing during the birthing process; can also be used for sore throats. (Everything but the petals is poisonous.) (plains)
Ivy- (nontoxic) Used to help calm one and help heal small scrapes. Also used for coughs, if nothing else is available. (forest/plains/mountains)
Juniper Berries - (semi-toxic) used to treat bellyache. Berries ease the stomach and can serve as a counter poison. Leaves are used to ease coughs and other respiratory problems. Also used to help treat shock. (forest/mountains)
Lamb's Ear- (nontoxic) used to give strength (forest/mountains is rare)
Lavender- (nontoxic) eat- Leaves & flowers are particularly good when eaten for easing pains in head and throat, and curing fever. Inhaling the scent of fresh flowers can also calm the nerves. (plains)
Lotus- (nontoxic) chewed than eaten- Used as an energizer to help keep you awake. (lake)
Mallow- (nontoxic) chewed than eaten- Used to treat bellyaches. (forest)
Marigold- (semi-toxic) The petals or leaves can be chewed into a pulp for a poultice to wounds, as well as stopping infections. One of the best herbs for cracked paw pads. If eaten can expel poisons from the body by vomiting. (forest/plains)
Milkweed- (toxic) Use to treat sores or burns. Do not use around ears or eyes. Poisonous when eaten. (plains)
Narcissus- (nontoxic) Soothes female when she is having contractions (plains/mountains)
Nettle (leaves) - (nontoxic) The leaves are applied to reduce swelling (plains/mountains)
Nettle (seeds) - (semi-toxic) eat- used to counter poison. The seeds are swallowed (plains/mountains)
Parsley- (nontoxic) Used to stop the flow of milk. (forest/mountains)

Poppy Seed- (nontoxic) The best herb there is to numb pain, distress, and shock and ensure a good night's sleep (forest/plains/mountain)

Raspberry- (nontoxic) An herb used during birth, it could be a painkiller, or to help stop bleeding during birth. (forest)

Rush- (nontoxic) Used to bind broken bones (everywhere)
Sage Roots- (nontoxic) Use for cracked pads, use with poppy seeds (forest)
Skullcap Seeds- (nontoxic) Used to give extra strength (plains)
Snakeroot - (semi-toxic) used to counter poison (plains)

Tansy - (nontoxic) eat- used to treat coughs. Leaves may be chewed to relieve joint aches. Flowers should be consumed to remove coughs (causes miscarriages) (plains/mountains)
Thyme - (nontoxic) Should be consumed to calm the anxious one, or to aid in bringing restful sleep. (forest)
Water mint- (nontoxic) eat- The best cure for bellyaches. Has a really good minty taste. (forest/plains/mountains)
Wild Garlic - (nontoxic) rolling in this can help to keep out infection. If you've got lots of cuts and scrapes, especially from rat bites, make sure you roll in some wild garlic to keep out infection. (forest)
Wild Mint - (nontoxic) covers most smells for a day; used to calm (forest/plains/mountains, anywhere that gets a lot of water)
Willow Tree- (nontoxic) Water from beneath the bark of the flowering willow may be dripped into the eyes to help clear blurriness of vision. It may also be applied to dry patches of skin to sooth itches. Small amounts of Willow Bark may be consumed to ease pain, act against inflammation, and to ease diarrhea or fevers. (plains/forest)
Windflower- (nontoxic) Used to treat stomach cramps during pregnancy (forest/plains)
Witch Hazel- (nontoxic) Used to give you an extra boost, this will wake you up (tree) (forest/plains)
Yarrow - (semi-toxic) apply or consume; vomit and expel poisons from the body. Entire plant should be consumed to induce vomiting. Entire plant should be chewed and applied to wounds to relieve pain and prevent infection. Only give it to ones that ate something poisonous. Sometimes when they are really sick yarrow is used to make the patient vomit out the sickness. That only works sometimes. This herb can also be used as an ointment, used to soften paw pads (plains)
Yew- (toxic) Roots & leaves may be chewed together and applied to sore places. If an animal eats the berries (most likely younger animals), then scoop all the berry leftovers out of their mouth.
