I trust you guys enough to share this with you:) <3 Tell me if you want more entries.
I had an amazing dream last night. in this dream, there was a kid who everyone looked down on. And that had good reason. He quite literally had the disability of being retarted. I was the only person who saw potential in him. I was the only one who saw he was more than disabled, but strong, fun, and easy to talk to. Not only that, but I could tell that he was quite literally a genius. In fact, he was so intelligent that he was the teacher for the gifted class.
Every day, we would run around the school together, just for the fun of having wind in our face.
We started getting closer. We became great friends. Over time, we got even closer. I'm not saying we were boyfriend and girlfriend close, but something different, something that only we shared. That something is that we had a deep understanding for each other, an unbreakable bond of trust, an everlasting commitment to protect and help each other. This feeling was unspoken between the two of us, but I knew that he felt the same way.
I made it my goal to make people see him for who he really was.
The last thing I remember before I woke up was him standing in front of everyone, people cheering for him. I smiled, my heart fluttering, and I felt tears in my eyes.
Those tears were real. When I finally woke up, my eyes were wet and my heart was still swirling. I felt a feeling I can't describe, a feeling of loyalty that I had never felt before, and I want it back. I think what I felt was true love. This feeling is still faintly with me as I'm writing this entry.
Sometime later, I'll read this again and remember that boy and this feeling. Who knew my first true friend would be a dream boy. Maybe it was more than a dream, or maybe it was just another interesting night. But one thing's for certain. I will never forget my dream boy.
