Your staff and I came up with a system to control certain issues. Several members have been creating excessive amounts of characters, which is wonderful, but it's getting to the point where it's overwhelming for other members, and especially the staff as officially adding new characters is a fairly long process. Also, members have been creating characters with the rare eye colors which are only acceptable with permission. Members are wanting puppies, they're wanting to make their wolves exceptions for things, so, we've decided to add the monetary system.
Instead of making it the staff members' personal decisions alone, we want members to have a provable way of earning these things. Members will earn money (Bones) for doing things around the site such as posting IC, posting in the MMAC each month, winning contests, advertising us, and may even be rewarded for exceptional behavior.
Bones are individual for each character. You need to save up bones for the character you want to purchase something for. If you want to purchase a new character or something for that new character, you can either use bones from one of your characters or use bones from multiple characters you own and combine them to the total cost.
Posting IC: 10B
MMAC Post: 40B
Ranking up: 500B
Active for 1 year: 1000B
Active for 2 years: 2000B
Advertising Us: 50B
Events: Dependent
Winning a Contest: Dependent
Game Nights: Dependent
If we notice you abusing any form of earning bones, you will be notified and we will take bones from your "Stash." An example of abuse would be posting excessively in the IC forums (Hyper-Posting, Bunny Hopping, Short/non-detailed posts -- Read here). Another example would be making more than one post in the MMAC.
In the navigation on this forum, there is a link that says "Shop." If you go to the shop, you can view all of the perks you are able to buy through earning Bones. If you have any suggestions, anything you think we should add to the shop, let us know.
