Rae "With molten eyes and a smile made for war,"
The land was just as barren in the Commons as it had been at the borders. Rae would admit that she was a little disappointed with the living conditions, though she would definitely not be one to complain about it. If she had to withstand getting dust up her nose, in her eyes and rocks getting stuck between her toes and cutting through her still-delicate paw-pads, she would. Hell, she'd do anything to be considered a Ferus wolf; a warrior. Rae would quite willingly jump face-first off a damn cliff if Alpha Jay wished it...perhaps with a little bit of thought, one would be able to realise that perhaps Rae was a tad 'overcommitted'. But she preferred to call it ambition.
Still trailing behind the now familiar form of Semira, Rae finally dispersed from the Sentinel's path, deciding to make to the wise decision of keeping with the new members instead of following the ebony beauty wherever she went. Rae lowered her head a tad as she stood with her equals, deciding not to converse with any of her fellows just yet as Jay turned to face them. His dominant presence was thrilling, and Rae suppressed an expression of awe as she gazed upon the terrifying Alpha's chest. "Until I am able to gauge your abilities in combat and hunting, you will remain as Omegas of the pack, disperse and find something to do. Explore, do whatever. Just don't let me catch you working against me or you will die,"
Rae wasn't sure that the rest of the pack would be able to agree with her, but the youngling admired the tone of a legitimate threat that lingered in his voice. It was assuring to know that her Alpha Jay wasn't soft or lazy when it came to his job. But she did not have long to linger on this thought. Rae had been instructed to disperse, explore, do whatever, and she wasn't about to be caught standing around with a dazed look on her face. The youngling wanted to socialise and gauge where she stood among the pack. And it seemed that the creamy female that was walking her way would be her starting point. Rae was almost taller than this stranger, probably only one or two inches off. But considering that Rae was still young and had growing left to do, she wouldn't be surprised if she ended up surpassing this she-wolf in height.
"Name?" It was a blunt and to-the-point approach. At least it wasn't a life story.
"Rae." The creamy yearling responded, tilting her head as she began examining the stranger. Lean and agile, probably better with agility more than anything. Rae smirked as sudden thought crossed her mind. Would this she-wolf prove to be a friend or competition? Time would tell. "Care to share your name?" She responded, wondering if her answer would be just as short as the initial question. If so, Rae would have a hunch that this she-wolf would prove to be a bit too boring for her tastes, after all, she wouldn't want to be the motor for all of their future conversations.

Omega Lluise "Every Day That You Breathe You Make My Life Harder."
The pearly she-wolf trotted after her new Alpha, bi-colored eyes flickering all over as she entered the Commons. The place was dry, boring, hot and dusty. The wolves had perpetual frowns creasing their faces it seemed. There wasn't much shade anywhere and she made a mental note that digging in this dust was definitely not for her. Maybe her enchanting looks could help get a male to dig it for her. She doubted it though, these wolves didn't seem like the soft-hearted push-overs she usually dealt with in rogue lands. Llu would just have change her tactics for this inhospitable place. Sky and pepper hued eyes found the other wolves entering the territory and was surprised to see that Zoey wasn't with them. Had she stayed behind to last as a wasted rogue? No matter. Sure, it was wasted potential but that didn't matter to Lluise. Her decisions were hers to make.
Llu came to a firm halt as the oak hued male did the same, face attentive as an amount of interest rose in her expression. Perked ears caught the conversation with ease as Jay spoke. "I will deal with Flint once he returns, go find something useful to do," Was all he growled. Lluise scowled slightly when she realized that she had missed a good portion of the conversation. Context was thrown out the window, apparently. "Hale," The pearly wolf turned her gaze to the young male, eyes quizzical as she studied him. "You have someone awaiting your presence," Sakia. She had mentioned something about her brother and Llu could only assume that this was the young male she had spoken of. Llu wasn't one for family ties. She had smothered her litter-mates without much regret and she would do it again if given the chance. She had thoroughly enjoyed how perplexed her dear parents were, how her mother mourned and her father raged. What is it that is killing off their little innocent darlings? Her father's horrified face flashed in her mind at the memory of her mother's death. Her mother's snowy pelt had been a beautiful puppet, truly. It was a shame that she no longer had it. Where had she left it anyways?
"Until I am able to gauge your abilities in combat and hunting, you will remain as Omegas of the pack, disperse and find something to do. Explore, do whatever. Just don't let me catch you working against me or you will die," The pearly female scoffed discretely at Jay's blunt and oh so threatening words, managing to make sure no one spotted her doing it. Omega, that rank shouldn't last long. Wouldn't last long.

Sakia
Sakia followed a good distance behind the two Ferus superiors silently, gazing at the barren land as they continued along. The occasional plant peeked from the ground, green with a hopeless expectancy for life. It was almost sad, the buds could never survive in such a harsh climate. Still, she debated what facade she would adopt within the pack. Silent, and serious? Sassy and work-obsessed? The latter was tempting, but going with the flow was much more appealing. As she continued through the land, the rock hard ground provided an uneven and almost painful for her pawpads, hardening them further as she traversed the dirty land.
Soon enough, they came across the commons. It was… aggressively mediocre. Plantless and plain, but the scent and abundance of rogues made up for the disappointing aesthetics. Almost mechanically, she drew off to the side, intently listening to the conversation before her. Deaths? Of a Delta, and some subordinate. Interesting. How did the Hunting Superior manage this? Flint. That was his name. Making a mental note to find this obsidian hued brute, she only blinked as Jay supplied his own rather plain ending to the conversation. Quickly, the alabaster bitch padded away, allowing Sakia to gain full sight of her Superior, following his gaze to a young male.
An adolescent mess of charcoal, oak, and cream. He was only few inches taller than herself, but supplied with a more masculine frame. Sakia herself was lined with her own lithe muscles, already sprouting into a beautiful lengthy frame. Soon, her torso would arch more off her chest, her legs lengthening, giving her height and speed. Within months, her fluffy thick fur would smooth down, the rest of her markings would fade in, giving her a true adult appearance. But, if there was one thing she could recognize on this wolf - if it were not his unmistakable scent - it would be those eyes. Ridiculously bright, almost unreal. Like a ghost.
Dipping her head, she would wait for him to move, not daring to break eye contact. Tensing, she only inched forwards, parting from the rest of the rogues. What was she to say, to do? Would she be labeled soft? Heart pounding, her head cocked only slightly. Here he was, her little brother. Lost. But found. If the two were to grow close enough, her head would shift so her muzzle would rest on his shoulder, her eyes squeezing shut for a few seconds as reality hit her. Finally, they were together. Home. She was to afraid to do more, to seem weak to her new packmates. If the two remained at a distance, she would pad closer after Omega ranks were announced, allowing him to speak first.

'Rae," her answer came, short and sweet. Cream paws shifted uneasily as the slightly younger female observed her shamelessly. Her single eye glared, daring her to mention it. In all honesty, the amount of backlash from her pack at the fact that it was taken out by an Omega had made her wary of others mentioning it, but with fresh meat, they wouldn't know the story. To them, it was a war wound, no matter who inflicted it. I showed that she survived when many from both pack's hadn't.
"Care to share your name?" Rae's voice spoke again. She wanted to badly to say no, to be a sassy bitch and just walk away, but why mess up something so simple. The thought of another wolf doing the same thing to her boiled her blood. "Aspen," she replied, her voice bored. She hated introductions. They were always so stereotypical, so cheesy. "Don't get yourself killed," Aspen huffed as she turned away. That was it. Enough socializing for now.
The dust beneath her paws was temperamental. In the summer, it held the heat like there was no tomorrow, but now that the seasons were changing, it released it as if it were nothing. Wonderful. Bloody wonderful. Who the hell decided to set up territory in a land of barren heat/cold? They were an idiot, no matter what their rank. At least they had part of Lubrusca, that lessened the blow slightly. Then again, two wolves corpses were in that territory now, so that wasn't exactly the best situation.
Aspen's heavy frame maneuvered itself over to her den, not wanting to follow Jay's instructions just yet. She had just done something useful, helping to bring an entire damn herd of deer to Ferus for them to eat for the next two seasons was not a simply task. She thumped her bodice into the dust, disturbing a small cloud of sediment as she lay herself down. Though her frame was grounded, her head was still raised, a single grey optic scanning the newbies and looking for oncoming trouble. Trouble meaning a wolf approaching her.

Despite his decent attempt to hold his composer, Azazel obviously looked passed it. Excitement. Hale was foolish for even hardly showing a hint of his emotions. The obsidian male was bleak with a hard outer core as well as inner. He was old and had experience more than the yearling could even dream. Next time, he would have to be careful about how he appeared towards his elders, or rather he should call them the wise superiors. The brute looked as if he may have said something to tell Hale off, but instead the pup merely received a look that said stop. Hale sighed quietly to himself, a bit unsure how to act. He meant no disrespect towards the art of combat, merely he was only excited to start learning, from someone experienced at that, but apparently that was wrong. The male still stood straight, but he let almost all emotion wash away from his face, appearing ready to learn but not eager. Maybe that would satisfy the general. " We'll stay here since Azriel is going to the Creek. Tell me what you know of battle." he demanded, standing from his previous sit, yellow eyes piercing into Hale. The adolescent fought not to let his gaze stray, no matter how cruel Azazel's eyes and outer demeanor appeared. He had to stay strong, appear respectful, of course, but also not appear weak and unable to even meet the brutes orbs. Still, it all came to the depressing truth that Hale had absolutely no knowledge of combat besides right after he joined Ferus. " I was accepted into Ferus with no knowledge of fighting whatsoever. In my previous pack, before I was separated, my father still deemed me too young to train," the male let his irritable gaze finally drop to the floor for a moment, cursing himself for ever being born in that pack. They were all weak, quite similar to how Somnus worked. Long-lasting bonds. No wolf left behind. Well, that last part was an understatement, as here he was now. " Since joining Ferus, I have learned of things such as never leaving you belly exposed. Being put on the ground gives your enemy the upper-hand. Almost always aim for a deathly blow... like the windpipe.." green hues finally shifting back up towards the huge male. In the back of his mind, Hale hoped that everything he had said and learned was true. Ferus was a very strong pack, and the pup found himself worried that any 'wrong truth' could be punishable. Before he could fret over that, though, his attention was brought to his returning Alpha. Along with the return of Jay, Hale noticed that Aspen, the once mute, had returned urgently to speak to him. Something had gone wrong if she had made the trip all the way back alone. All the male could hope for was that they would soon return with food, otherwise the whole of Ferus would further grow hungry, which would lead to more irritability and unneeded battles, not to mention the wolves all becoming weaker. Behind Alpha Jay followed 4 others, Semeria along with three new members. Well, at least he would only have prove his worth over three, rather than a large mass of more experienced wolves. The three all looked to be females, two white ones and one with a similar mottled pelt to him. THe yearling cared not, though, overlooking the fact that the third was more than just a newby. " Hale," came his name suddenly. His attention suddenly snapped towards Jay, wondering for what reason the brute had to care about him at the moment. " You have someone awaiting your presence," he stated simply, his tail flicking back towards the new members. Who in the hell wants me specifically? I'm busy. The youngster growled lightly to himself, dipping his head slightly in dismissal toward Azazel before he slinked off to rip someone's head off. If one of the newbies was looking for him, obviously they had been tracking him and found their way to Ferus. His curiosity was dismal, considering this was interrupting his training, which he certainly looked forward to much more. Still, he ran through a list of names through his head as to who might try to find him. The wolves were all female, so perhaps his mother would be included. Then again, he doubted Jay would care to let a kind soul such as her return to her pup. That would create conflict. Besides that there was... his bright green orbs drew upwards, immediately finding the same aged she-wolf. Sakia. How the hell had she traveled so far to find him? Why, of all questions? For a very brief moment Hale was trilled, ready to bound toward her and embrace her with nuzzles and licks, but the moment passed as soon as it came. He was in Ferus, and he had change. He could not have his pack mates staring at him as he acted like a child; not after all this time that he had fought his way out of the 'pup' title he had. Still, it felt so unreal he was afraid that if he blinked she would be gone. Was this real? The she-wolf had developed so much he would have hardly noticed her. She appeared just like him - a young adult with pretty features and a confident demeanor. But had her personality changed? If not, she did not belong here, and Hale would stop at nothing to get her to leave. Not because he didn't want her here, but because he didn't want to see her get killed. On that note, she still had the potential to get brutally punished no matter what she was like now, and how could he bare that? Sakia is the only sibling he has that he cares for deeply. Her problems would become his problems, and everything would become a mess. His life was ruined. But, for now, Hale couldn't allow himself to glare at her and turn away. That was too cruel, and he truly was happy to see her deep down in his emotionless soul. The yearling continued his walk towards her, head high as usual and his expression calm. What was he to do? Nuzzling her seemed both too childish and not enough to express what he felt. It wasn't in his personality anymore to show that affection towards someone. The typical dude. As he made his way up to her, Hale settled fondly on a very simple wag of his tail in greeting and his slight show of happiness. Still, he didn't know what to say, and as such his gaze dropped to the dusty red floor as he halted infront of her. " Hey.. what are you doing here?" he eventually brought his green orbs back up to meet her matching hues, concern filling his expression. " I-it's not really safe for you to be here.. not in this pack." he continued, dropping his voice down so that none other but her could hear. Suddenly, the male realized that his conversation starter might seem kind of lame. " How is the pack?" he inquired, his voice a little louder to hide any secrecy that the others may assume.

| Throughout the lengthy walk, Semira walked with surprising fluidity despite her muscled frame. An obsidian flag hung mid-rise, shifting as she walked in a casual manner. The barren land of Ferus - though disappointing, and maybe even boring to the new arrivals - radiated comfort to the Sentinel. Oh, how she longed to simply walk around the territory, taking in the land that she harbored for so long. Despite what others say, it was nothing to take for granted. The harsh climate would only provide a chance to grow stronger, the perfect environment for raising warriors.
Steel hued optics glanced backwards throughout the travel numerous times, offering the raven bitch a chance to grumble at the newbies to stay in line, or simply stare them down, for the fun of it. It was no question whether or not her gaze would briefly wander to her side, looking over her Alpha as he strutted a pace or two ahead of herself, admiring. Pulling her brow in, Semira was overcome with the urge to be feared, respected as well. Lifting her chin, she hardened her gaze as she stepped into the clearing. Though, per usual, her eyes quickly sought out her only familial bond. Solex, the hot-headed Salutary was nothing to be found. Huffing internally, the lupine briefly wondered where her brother lurked, perhaps in Lubruscan territory? Seeking herbs that would wither and die within Ferus land? Or Rogue lands? Flicking away the slight concern, she settled with the reminder that they were no longer pups leaning on one another during training.
Instead, she turned to look at Jay, a singular brow raising as a certain alabaster nuisance bolted up to him. Stiffly, she padded closer, eyeing Aspen. For a moment, her insides coiled, what did this female need with Jay? Watching her with a plain expression, an ebony tail curled in pure annoyance as not one, but two deaths were announced. Seriously? How incompetent could one wolf be? Flint had hardly been someone of interest to the Sentinel, in fact, she hardly noticed the witty male. He was just another body in a sea of assholes. What was going to come of the Hunting Superior? Would he be demoted down to Omega? Or let off this one? The latter was automatically tossed away at Jay’s anticlimactic, but still satisfying reply. Pandora, the respected Delta, slaughterer of pups, tripped? It was almost amusing. And Xanthe.. Semira couldn’t help the small grin that toyed at the corner of her mouth as Aspen padded away.
Jay’s words almost brought Semira to smirk, but instead she offered her own words to the members. “If you don’t die from the heat~” Her words were hushed slightly, a light joke following the dreaded ‘or die’ speech. Of course, these light moments floated away as soon as they appeared, and the muscled bitch sank back into her stoney exterior.
Quickly, the newly announced members began to disperse. The siblings reunited unceremoniously, and Aspen lumbered away to speak with young Rae. The newcomers were quickly tossed the rank Omega, and soon the clearing started to hum with activity and voices. Left alone with Jay, the Sentinel quickly took the time to shake out her fur, and stretch out her back, ridding herself of any dust that may have been swept up from the ground throughout the duration of their trek. Within seconds, she found darkly hued paws following the Alpha once again, keeping pace with him without hesitation, scaling the rocks.
“Tell me,” Blinking, the similarly sized female cocked her head, previous agitations melting away, replaced by hushed curiosity. The words Jay uttered were anything but a surprise. Her input was always purely factual, unwavered by emotional connections. Silence swarmed the bitch for mere seconds as words slowly collected within her head, before she looked over the territory, eyes stopping briefly on all the members in turn.
“Lluise should be supervised,” Semira said plainly, ear twitching towards her superior in case of an interjection. “I hate to mention her similarities to Absinthe, though she’s admittedly more subtle. But I see no reason why she wouldn’t thrive with some training.” Each word was heavily thought out, her eyes constantly twitching from left to right as she spoke. “As for Rae, I without a doubt think she holds immense potential.” She pursed her lips for a moment. “Her and the two other yearlings, Hale, and Sakia are all competitive.” Glancing at Jay, she wondered whether to quiet or not. “They could benefit from group training, using that competitive nature to fuel one another ‘to be the best’”
Semira quieted for a few moments, to let what she said sit before moving on to the hunting incident. “As for Flint’s hunting party, I’d like to hear what the surviving members have to say about his leading ability.” Her brow pulled in. “Accidents happen.” She dared to add the last part, a soft defense on the Hunting Superior’s part. After this, the Sentinel silenced, watching Jay, her tail twitching anxiously, hoping she had not overstepped her boundaries.

It had been a long task to herd the deer into the Ferus grounds. Dis almost felt sorry for the poor things, going from green Lubrusca with gushing rivers to Ferus, where the sun beat down on you so hard your pelt was warm after the sun set, and where water was so scarce it could create competition. However, she walked into the Ferus common grounds, glad to be home. Her muscles ached, sore from the long chase, but she had always been one of those wolves who got a 'running high', and the sore muscles did not bother her seeing as how much she had also enjoyed the task.
Coming into the grounds, the white and silver she-wolf noticed many new faces. How strange. They had just won a battle, and now they add many more to their ranks; it seemed Ferus was nonstop growing in power and number and territory, and Dis wondered if someday they would dominate over the other packs, as well. They did have more ambitious wolves and more vicious warriors, after all. Well, perhaps that was just her opinion.
Turning her head a bit, Dis notices Oshim, the other 'driver' of the herd. Without thought, she walks towards him, moving like a fish through water, looking more like she was floating. However, as she is walking, she passes Aspen in conversation with Jay. She does not intentionally listen, but her ears pick up the names Pandora and Xanthe. Replaying the scene in her head, Dis' facial expression remains blank, and she continues walking. At Oshim's side, she settles and lays down, the dust tinting her white fur auburn. The relief she feels as she lays down, relaxes, and takes a deep breath reminds her that this is the first rest she has had in over a day.
"How about that little jog, huh?" Dis said, a bit out-of-character for someone with her lack of humor and formal way of speaking. Maybe it had something to do with the long quest, perhaps her mind was too tired to be itself.

Azazel looked towards the young male as he finally spoke. He noticed that he intentionally looked into Azazel's eyes, something that was not common from yearlings, but definitely was not something that Hale wanted to do. But he ignored it for right now. He would definitely have to teach the young one how to approach older wolves, especially if he wanted to survive more than a couple minutes in front of one. As he listened to what the male said, he already knew that Hale had no battle experience what so ever. He had been sheltered his entire life, just like he had said. Although his points were something basic, and something that he was going to need in the future as just a reaction and a subconscious thought at the back of his head. It was assumed that every wolf knew these very basic tactics in battle, and the ones that did not heed the information and did not use it, would often probably be the ones that ended up dying on the battlefield. However, before he could really think about what to teach the young one, it seemed that Jay returned with new wolves. There weren't many to follow, as he knew that the Alpha was simply too harsh to end up bringing in too many outsiders. They were all females, something that Ferus needed possibly for breeding. They would definitely probably produce suitable offspring to be trained and used as warriors in Ferus. Maybe he would even get the pleasure of passing on his genes. The young one that approached the mute bitch was seemingly rather cute, but it seemed like she was much, much younger than Azazel was. Another was one that seemed devious, and something that he definitely would not be willing to impregnate. The other was Hale's sister from the looks of how the two interacted, and that definitely did not fit what Azazel was looking for. Maybe the young pretty one would be worth it, but then again, she might not be. He definitely was going to wait and see. Azazel was not one to settle down, but with Absinthe gone, he had absolutely no instigation of the insanity lying underneath his hardened shell. His sister had never controlled it, while he had learned too. The crazed wolf had grown soft due to pack life, while the life of a rogue was merciless, and held nothing but death wherever Azazel walked. But now, he had spared the pregnant Alphess of Lubrusca, and he was now thinking about passing on his genes through a she-wolf. Every male thought of that, but dare he say he wanted someone to love. He wanted Francesca 2.0. Someone that was as kind and as nice as her that would be by his side, someone for him to protect. Maybe he was letting her get to him too much, like something happened to her. But he simply just monitored the commons, looking towards all the new wolves. Mentioned: @hale @sakia Breeder Lluise @rae

Rae "Rest assured, rational me and impulsive me are having a fuckin' smack down 24/7 100% of the time."
The young she-wolf came to the conclusion that Aspen was someone that she wasn't necessarily going to get on extremely well with. After the she-wolf of few words very abruptly left the conversation, Rae simply gave a roll of her eyes at her leaving statement. "Don't get yourself killed," It felt like an implication of stupidity or naivety, which was something that Rae definitely was not. She wasn't dumb enough to even think about stepping out of line, and she wasn't the type to go looking for trouble. She could handle herself just fine.
Rae didn't let these thoughts bother her for too long as she began to let those searing molten eyes of hers travel the Common Grounds, looking for anyone else that may have been able to occupy her time. She first noticed Lluise, one of the fellow newbies. Rae quickly looked past the subtly insane she-wolf, have decided at the borders that the two of them would mesh like snow and fire. The only other wolf that she could see standing without someone to talk to was a massive, burly black beast of a thing. Honestly, he was somewhat intimidating, especially with the way that he held his well-toned body; perhaps he was a superior? It didn't take too long for Rae to make her mind up, as she swiftly approached the beast with her nimble--soon to be muscled--figure.
"Hello there," she began, flashing a rather risky smile which held an unusual amount of spunk to be approaching a superior with. Well if he didn't like it, he could beat her into the ground for all she cared; she would consider it to be her first lesson. "My name is Rae, and you are?" She asked quizzically, giving a small tilt of her head in question as she tried to look anywhere but the male's dazzling eyes, because if anything were to get her in trouble, it would be locking eyes with a brute like him.

Kurumi quietly came to a halt along with the rest of the newbies. The Alpha had dubbed them all Omega's until further notice. To be honest, Kurumi didn't expect anything less. The pack grounds were devoid of life - except the obvious wolves running about. Already wolves had started to mingle, an almost gag worthy family reunion and where was Kurumi in all this? Damn she didn't even know herself. Was this the whole pack? Surly not... The black tip of an otherwise chestnut coloured tail flickered every so often as she sat on her haunches, wrapping the fluffy appendage round her front paws. Now and then, she would glance to the female she had arrived with, Miraa, and then magenta orbs would once again rest of that of the group.
A pink tongue delicately swiped over black lips as she began to claw slightly at the barren land beneath her paws. It was a tad awkward to sit by herself, but she wasn't one to complain - nor speak unless spoken to. She briefly wondered how and when the Alpha would put the newbies up to tests for their capability. The pack seemed rather tamed than aggressive for a fight-to-the-death situation. But hey, first impressions could be misleading.
Mentioned: @miraa OOC: Lmao I'm sorry I have no plan for her....... Yet *cough*

| Yellow eyes glimpsed the moving figure of the pretty young she-wolf that had followed Jay back from the borders. It seemed that a couple others had followed as well, seemingly arriving late. That would not look good in the eyes of the Alpha, but Azazel was not there to judge wolves. He was there to plan and lead battles according to how Jay wanted him too. If he was to assess every wolf that walked into the commons per following Jay's orders, he would be trying to wrap his head around a title that was definitely far above his own. The small peppy female seemed to possess potential, something that radiated from her already. He was sure that Jay took a liking to her almost immediately. Listening to the female greet him, her voice was sweet, something that reminded him slightly of Francesca and how she had once approached him. Well, they had been in a different type of context when they had met, but none the less, she seemed rather nice. Although nice was not going to get you through life in the Ferus pack. It would kill you and crush you the moment you would try acting any sort of nice towards anyone.
Flicking his tail and letting his eyes come to rest on the smaller she-wolf, he gave her a once over before speaking. "Azazel," He said with a curt nod towards her. "Yours?" The brute didn't want to make lengthy sentences of small chatter, he simply wanted to know who was brave enough to approach him while he was clearly one of the most feared wolves in Ferus. There were always rumors spreading from the pack, to the borders, and to the rogue lands. A description of the mighty black beast that killed for fun, and for enjoyment. But, he had changed. It seemed pack life had altered his perception of life, and maybe, made him care a little more about those around him. Just a little. | OOC: @rae |

Tenshi let out semi-harsh pants as he finally caught up with everyone. Damn that was a long jog, plus this pack lands was barren and winter was starting to roll in. His paws hurt and the pout had never left his pretty features from the borders. Everyone had already started to conversate, to mingle and talk among themselves. Large chocolate eyes scanned the commons until they settled on one particular individual who he already knew rather well. Sakia, and next to her was a- well hellooo. The grouchy female was face to face with someone who looked a little like her. They shared the same jade green eyes, except this particular individual was rather pretty. Not as if to say that Sakia herself wasn't pretty, but Tenshi knew her long enough to know he'd get a paw to the face for anything that was even slightly more suggestive than a hate-love friendship they had.
Straightening himself up and padding himself next to his short-term friend, Tenshi put on a charming smile "Sooo Sakia, you gonna introduce me to your friend?" Ten's nose twitched every so often, something wasn't right. There were different scents, most of them pack wolves mixing in with the individual rogues that had been accepted. Inhaling through the leather tip of his scarred muzzle a few more times his large cocoa eyes honed in on Sakia's new companion. Oh shit he's a dude. Ten's smile suddenly dropped into that of a sheepish one. Of course he's male, how the hell did that fly so easily over his head?! That probably wasn't the smoothest approach. However maybe the male would make a good acquaintance, much like Sakia had. Unknowingly interrupted a rather touching family reunion.
Addressed: @sakia , @hale OOC: Tenshi's such a screw up lmao

Oshim padded into the commons just behind Aspen, crimson hues drifting across the barren land with little enthusiasm. Their hunt was a disappointing - not to mention embarrassing - mess. Not only did a measly hunter die (Not that Xanthe would complain.), but the Delta as well. The Scout himself chalked it up to misfortune on Pandora's part, and idiotic heroines on Xanthe's. Had she not heard the simple commands spewed from their vertically challenged superior? If a wolf falls, leave-their-asses-to-rot. Not hard, no, no. But, the nuisance had to dive into action, effectively ruining the hunt. Sure, Pandora's demise alone would have probably put a falter in their strides, but the herding would have continued. The death of two wolves? Practically a sin.
Trudging beside the familiar form of Dis, dusty brown auricles swiveled and honed momentarily on the brief conversation between Aspen, and Jay. Alas, it was not of interest. Taking his ivory companion's lead, Oshim lowered himself onto the dusty ground, glancing at her as she spoke. How odd? Was someone suddenly a chatterbox? "Nothin' wrong with a bit of exercise." He looked around, obviously joking. "Maybe some of these newbies should hear that."

Rae "Rest assured, rational me and impulsive me are having a fuckin' smack down 24/7 100% of the time."
The male's name was Azazel, a suitably demonic-sounding name for a brute of his intimidating stance. Rae liked it, and she let a small smirk slip into the corner of her lip to express this. It seemed that this male didn't have a care for drawn-out speech, as did the she-wolf who she was previously talking to. Was there something in the water, or had these wolves been taught that excessive tongue movement would lead to no tongue at all? The latter-thought amused her, though she knew that she would fit in fine if all the Ferus wolves didn't have much of a liking for unnecessary clips of dialogue. "Rae," she responded to Azazel's simple one-word question, giving a small dip of her head as she answered.
Her cranium did not stay lowered for long, as she quickly sent her gaze zipping back up to rest at his onyx-dipped muzzle. She didn't want to show signs of submission for longer than she needed to, especially to someone who's rank still remained a mystery to her. In this case, she fancied testing the boundaries. "You hold yourself as a superior would," Rae thought out-loud, letting her burning optics run up and down the male's poised figure as she noted each tensed muscle and every bristle of tufted fur. Not quite as tall as Jay--in a figurative sense, though he was literally quite a portion taller than the entire pack--, but definitely not as small as a simple hunter or scout. "What rank do you hold?" She asked quite boldly, giving a small tilt of her creamy cranium to match the curious nature of her question.

As much as the alabaster bitch hated to admit it, she was bored. Her mind wandered aimlessly, picking up on insignificant patterns in the terrain and wolves around her. There were five she-wolves that had light pelts in Ferus. One of them was herself. The others were Dis, Rae and two other newbies that she didn't know the names of, and didn't quite care enough to find out at the moment. The whitest she-wolf had mis-matched eyes. How odd. She was the most unique out of the monochromatic bunch she had formed mentally. The rest of them were multiple variations of cream and snow smushed onto the pelts of wolves. The seeming purity of that particular she-wolf caught her attention. If she was as innocent as her tiny frame portrayed, she wouldn't last long in Ferus at all. Then again, she was a new Omega, so Alpha Jay or Sentinel Semira must have seen something in her. Even so, in a pact of warriors, she supposed that the she-wolf would need to be trained in special skills on how to utilize her height, or have told one of the superiors that she already did. Being relatively short of stature herself, Aspen could see a fragment of herself in the she-wolf. It wasn't her eye however. That likely lay rotten on Lubruscan territory beyond recognition. Not that Solex could put it back in anyway. She had been told by the Ferus Salutary that if her eye had been left attached to her head, he could have easily just popped it back in and she would heal with almost full vision However, because the optic nerve was snapped by that Lubruscan bitch, she would never regain vision her her eye again, even if she brought it back to Solex. With a huff, the half-blind she-wolf set her mind on cleaning her paws. Her salmon tongue tasted dust and minerals as she cleaned between her toes. Her teeth dug in between her hardened pads, removing clumps of grass and vegetation from her herding expedition through must lusher lands. They had no place trapped between her toes, but also no place trapped in her teeth. To remove the grass blades without trapping them somewhere else, Aspen delicately removed small clumps of the garbage from between each of her toes until it all lay out in a small halo around her den. She swiftly blew the damp grass away. The dark green blades clashed terribly with the beige dusty rock that made up most of the Ferus territory. Great. Now there was nothing to do again. The only wolf she was relatively close to was dragging the bodies of a Delta and an idiot back to Ferus, and she was in no mood to deal with Oshim's presence. Anyway, he was talking with Dis. Jay was talking with Semira, Azazel was talking with Rae, Hale was talking with some Omega; everyone was talking to each other! It was like a virus of words had spread across Ferus. The only two wolves that seemed not to be talking at the moment were herself and the unique Omega. Aspen groaned. Wonderful, now even she had the urge to talk. She should have never opened her mouth in the first place. Talking to Azriel at the borders had lead her down the dangerous path to wanted to socialize. At least now her selective silence was purely because she didn't want to talk to the wolves around her. How stupid she was before. She had chosen to stay mute because of one traumatic event; an event, she might add, that left her the obvious victor. While she stood above, her brother's corpse lay below. She was so naive as a yearling, so stupid. The fact that she was a murderer was a fact to be proud of, not to be silent about. No other wolves were going to spontaneously ask, 'Hey, have you ever killed your brother?" She didn't need to keep silent for so long. It made her look primitive, prehistoric almost. If anyone asked now, she would gladly tell them. In Ferus, killing wasn't exactly something foreign. They had won the war for a reason. If anything, it was a warning to others. She was willing to kill her own flesh and blood, and likely wouldn't have many qualms with killing others either. With a grunt, Aspen lifted her sore body off of her rock. She must've contracted the virus. Her stocky frame wandered towards the pearly she-wolf, her single stormy eye already holding the essence of her bitchy attitude. She didn't bother plastering a fake smile onto her face. She didn't bother hiding the displeasure of having to talk to others for entertainment in her tone. "What's your story?" were the words she chose to use. They were both a blessing and a curse. It would leave Aspen more time to be silent, but the action of the she-wolf speaking would test her already short patience. She grit her teeth and set her rump on the ground, settling in for the long run of socialization. Breeder LluiseWords: 849
