Kaname
Excruciatingly slow, mocha limbs strolled into new territory, crisp eyes exploring the area, every inch sending a little more amusement into his brain. It was funny, really. How the big-bad Zero could occupy this place. It smelled of bitter-sweet dreams, and love. Disgusting. Alas, his trek had finally come to an end. After searching for the alabaster brute for some time, Kaname's efforts were finally not in vain. With a sadistic grin gracing his features, the saturated brown wolf entered the territory without a care, strolling along the border, along the treeline, and just outside the hunting grounds. As he did so, he allowed his muscled frame to rub against each and every tree, or shrub, marking the Noctis land with his thick scent. Shaking particles of bark and dust of his pelt, the clever male then sunk to the ground, rolling in the grass; once again covering it with his scent. He couldn't get punished if they couldn't beat him.
Standing up, with blades of green growth still clinging to his thick fur, he stepped back and let a loud, clear, raspy howl break the silence. Only beckoning for one wolf. Zero. Before leaving the pack's territory, the lupine quickly shook the grass from his pelt, and took his time in grooming, procrastinating his departure, giving his nemesis time. Waltzing away, Kaname paused right on the edge, where Zero would only just be able to see him. Here he would stay, until the alabaster brute saw him. When he did, with a swift bound, Kaname would exit into Rogue lands, confident that the presumably rage-ridden wolf would follow.

| It reeked of him.
Panting, Zero came to a halt at the borders. He begged over and over in his mind that he was wrong, that the howl was just a pathetic rogue seeking an Alpha's approval. But he was wrong. The scent of his worst enemy was oh so famillar. Unmistakenable. And it made Zero sick to his stomach. Whereas Zero's bloodied sent had numbed down some, Kaname's was still vibrant as ever. A shiver ran down Zero's spine. He wouldn't give in. Not now that his life was perfect. He'd just kill Kaname and get it over with. One and done.
He repeated the words in his head as if it were that easy. A silent snarl left his throat as he darted after the one wolf who had ruined his life. And vise-versa. He wouldn't let the sneaky son-of-a-bitch get away this time. Not after how he practically knocked on Zero's door.

| This was where his scent began, despite being tangled in a mix of numerous others, Eureka could not miss that potent familiarity of her brother. She swung her head around to look at Draco, a smile set on her weary face. They had been travelling for quite some time now, but not even her brother's sour attitude could deter Eureka from trying to spread her contagious positivity.
"We're here~." She announced, giving a sway of her tail as she looked to her brother. "Are you excited? It feels like ages since we last saw Luke..." she absentmindedly thought aloud, knowing well that she herself was very excited to see her sibling and catch up with him. Hopefully it would be an eye opening experience for both of them to see Luke as an Alpha among his own territory, but this thought only brought of questions that Eureka would have to ask her brother. How did he run the pack? What kind of morals did they have? What were his friends like? Did Lukey have any special female in his heart yet? Hopefully he would be glad with their surprise visit, Eureka would've hated to come at a bad time.
Eureka stored all of these questions and thoughts in the back of her head for later. For now, she took a step forward and raised her head to the sky, letting a high-pitched howl ring through the air of the Noctis borders. Would Luke be able to identify that it was her howl? Maybe if Draco joined in then their brother might make the connection that his siblings stood waiting for his presence at the borders. But for now, all they could do was wait patiently for the arrival of a Noctis wolf to greet them.

| Delta Draco of Somnus
Draco had been a little was behind Eureka, but he had caught up rather quickly to his smaller sister. As they approached the rather foreign scent of Noctis, there was a scent that would always be known to the siblings. It was the smell of their brother. Although the scent had changed quite a bit since they were pups, there was still something recognizable about the scent. Bringing himself next to Eureka, he listened to what she said. "It has been," He replied to his sister, knowing that he was excited, but he was able to contain it. As Eureka let out a howl, Draco too lifted his head to the sky to let his own deeper howl synchronize with hers. Luke would definitely know it was the both of them once he heard the united howls. And hopefully his brother would come to greet them himself. He wondered if maybe he was just that busy that he wasn't going too, or one of his other wolves would.

| Was it hours or days Zero had limped back to Noctis? Was it weeks or months that he had been away? His breathes came out weak and his once pure white fur was matted with dried mud and dried and fresh blood. Scarring was going to be evident if he survived. Would Noctis even recognize him? Staggering further into the eastern border, Zero's legs finally collapsed under him, his vision blacking out for a few seconds before shaking his head back into consciousness. Yoki, Luke, Yoki, Luke, Yoki- Luke!
A large white cranium threw itself back before letting out an ear-splitting howl, haunting and chilling as ever. For a moment, he emptied his lungs through the melodic sound before heaving up a cough that spluttered blood, his head throbbing as it begged him to sleep for eternity. Darkness surrounded his line of sight and suddenly he couldn't find it anymore.
He was home.
Large red ears hit the ground as his crimson-stained head followed suit. His large, gashed chest heaving as his lungs tried to over work as his body too hit the floor. Ruby eyes focused and unfocused before rolling back and shutting. | OOC: Tagged: Howl for Alpha Luke, @yoki, @anyone in noctis lmao |

| Luke was not bothered by what had happened in the commons. If the wolf pups were going to lash out because they were upset, then they would get a scolding. They didn't need to take out their pain on everyone else, it wasn't fair to Seven, or Yoki. Especially if they were going to be trying to help the pups in the future. He knew that some of his packmates weren't happy by the fact that he had yelled at the young ones, but he knew that what he did was right. He protected his mate, and there was nothing wrong with that. If they thought that he was doing something wrong, then they needed to reevaluate the situation. When he was younger, he was always scolded by his mother for getting mad at Draco or Eureka for something they didn't do. So why should he just let a pup walk all over his mate when it was clearly the wrong thing for Tamlin and Aedion to do?
Shaking his head slightly, he approached the borders, hoping that he would find the familiar coats of his brother and sister soon enough. The territory was fading into a red and orange instead of the lush green that it had been for what seemed forever. The summer season was over, and fall was taking its turn before winter approached. His pack hadn't faced a winter since he had become Alpha, so he hoped that it went smoothly. Looking forwards, he saw that his siblings were standing together, Draco's large frame towering over Eureka. It seemed that the brothers had inherited the larger family genes, but his brother was an absolute monster compared to everyone else. The only other wolf that was as big as him was Ocean. It was startling to think that his father might not even have been as large as Draco was now. "Draco, Eureka," He greeted them with a smile. "Its been a while since we've seen each other hasn't it?" He asked the question, looking towards his siblings with a happy gleam in his eyes.
There had to be a reason other than them just wanting to visit for them to come all the way out here however. And Luke knew that there was. Something had to have happened in Somnus. Whether they were asking for his help, or telling him of bad news, he knew that there was something. "Are you two going to be staying awhile? My pack was going to put together a hunt if you would like to join us," He said. "But if you two are just here on business I understand," He let his smile fade a little at the thought. He loved his siblings dearly, and he wanted to hunt with them like the little team they were.

| The amount of joy that washed over her as soon as Luke appeared in front of them made her feel like a pup again. Her tail swayed maniacally behind her as a grin pulled back the corners of her lips. The wolf that approached them was their brother, the similar colouration that spread across his pelt and the missable scent of their family were giveaways that it was indeed Luke. But he had gotten bigger; not fatter or taller, but bigger...muscular. If this wasn't the wolf that she had grown up with, she might've even been intimidated. "Draco, Eureka," he greeted warmly.
"Well hello, sir." she teased, noticing the stance that he held which came with his title of Alpha, a similar stance to the one that she still held. "Its been a while since we've seen each other hasn't it?" Well, he wasn't wrong, but for Eureka it had felt like eons had passed since she had last seen Luke. "It's been too long," she agreed with a small nod.
"Are you two going to be staying awhile? My pack was going to put together a hunt if you would like to join us, but if you two are just here on business I understand," Luke's offer gave more fuel to the fire that was Eureka's wagging tail, the appendage which expressed the joy that she channeled through a smile bright enough to blind someone, but she soon reminded herself why they had come here in the first place. "We'd love to join your hunt! It'd be a good opportunity to meet your pack, but," she quickly glanced at Draco, seeking assurance that she may not be able to find with his current mood, so she quickly looked back to the brother that she was actually on 'good terms' with. "We came to tell you about mother. She peacefully passed away about a month ago, and she sends her love."
The memory of their mother sent a pang of grief to strike her heart, a feeling that was all too familiar, especially since it had only started dying down a few days ago. She was sure that Luke would feel something similar as well, but at least she was reunited with their sisters, who they would join one day as well.
"On a happier note," she quickly tried to shed a brighter light on their conversation. "Violet says hi." Eureka knew that their ivory caretaker would be grateful for the mention, and hopefully Luke would be as well.

| Quickly the female bobbed and weaved, motions of slender mass swift and eager as the mottle-hued bitch bounded for her targeted destination. She had kept an ear on her followers, assuming Hoshi had followed her in the mad-dash to assist the pain-filled cry of their familiar.
Multiple scenarios raced through her mind, ranging from his over-dramatic need to have attention upon himself, to the worst possible outcome that the female would arrive too late and he would be a lump of stiff fur upon their doorstep. Shaking her head she let it all slip away, he was going to be okay. He had to be okay. Not for her, and not for himself, but for everyone in Noctis... for their unknown offspring that she carried within tightened yet unnoticable abdomen.
"Zero!"
The strained cry slid free with a lack of permission, worry filling its presence as twig-like limbs began to skid to a halt, towering over fallen mate as she widely glowered at his state. Sleet colored pelt clumped, stained, and torn apart by the varying shades of maroon. He'd been shredded like a pinnata, but he was alive. Hurriedly she let her gaze search for Hoshi, hoping that the recently joined healer would be able to assist with immediate work, Yoki's ears eagerly open and ready to help with whatever the other demanded.
This fallen creature was her life, her love... and most importantly- her world. She'd made it clear in her expression that she was ready to do everything in her power, everything except possibly carry him, to keep him alive and well. "It's okay, we've got you Zero!" She'd let the words easily glide free, her cranium sinking low as she lapped at the short, bristled fur masking his visage, straightening it and removing what blood she could as she waited. Stomach churning with unknown fear, worry that perhaps he'd have come home for nothing.

| Luke was ready for what his sister had to say. Maybe something about them needing to get back to the pack, and having just came by to say hi, or to simply discuss news. But it seemed that his sister and his brother were going to stay for a hunt, and maybe for a little while in the pack. He was rather excited by this, but then when he was about to exclaim how great that was, his sister told him that their mother had passed. Luke was upset by this, but he knew that she would need to pass at some time. His mother had suffered so much, losing two pups, his father, as well as a few packmates as well. Bringing himself to look towards his sister, he gave her a small nod. But she continued, saying that Violet said hi. He was rather happy that the Beta still even remembered him, or the rest of the pack did for that matter. "Make sure to return that when you get back," He said, smiling towards his sister. Looking over his shoulder, he noticed that there was commotion coming from part of his borders. It was rather close to where he was, so he looked towards his siblings.
"Would you like to accompany me to see what's happening?" He asked them, looking to stand and walk towards where he caught the scent of some packmates that were nearby. Heading towards the scent, blood was an underlying scent as well, which made Luke worry. Starting to pick up the pace, he burst into the scene pretty quickly. There Zero was, lying on the ground with blood around him. Yoki was with him, and Luke was astonished. "Yoki, what happened?" He asked, looking towards the young Delta. "Has Hoshi been alerted?" He asked, almost frantic for his best friend that was currently on the brink of dying.

Yoki had zoomed past the fireball at some top speed as she raced through the mass of trees. The Delta was young, so it didn't suprise Hoshi in the slightest, also the contributing factor of her mate could be in life threatening potential danger and adrenaline had probably kicked in. In either case, the small from of the healer tried to stay hot on the oaken lupines heals but had fallen slightly behind. Where the hell had Newt gone?! She needed her assistant, she could already tell by the thick smell of blood in the air that this wasn't going to be pretty. There was so much of the foul stench, it almost caused the little star to choke up as she neared it. Hoshi felt her heart slightly clench with worry as the Beta's name cried from the Delta. It seemed the Alpha was there too. "Salutary Hoshi, reporting for duty sir!" she exclaimed as she skidded to a halt beside the small female, assessing the situation and instantly got to work. Chest heaving. Still alive. Severe amount of blood loss. Still bleeding. Green and orange flecked eyes instantly shot to a mangled limb. Broken. First thing was first, Hoshi quickly checked the large once ivory cranium for severe damage, in amongst the fur, she couldn't see anything life threatening like brains spilling out. That's good. She then used her paw to tilt the Beta's jaw up and to the side, allowing air to pass through his airways easily all the while if he did go into shock, wouldn't choke on vomit nor foam. Blood was still dripping and the Salutary questioned how the hell did he survive the treck back from where-ever-the-hell he was. Adrenaline was her conclusion. Would Camomile flowers be too mild? She was sure Zero was knocked out cold but she had to make sure. A lightbulb went off in her head. "Mandragora!" She turned to the small Delta, it seemed she was filled with a determination to help, and since Newt was not around, this will have to do. "Yoki, I need you to go look for purple flowers that grow on the ground," her rushed description came "The leaves are dark and it looks kind of like a weed? Then again most flowers that grow not from a bush look like weeds, this one looks sort of like a luttuce I suppose-" She suddenly stopped, eyes widened as she realized she was rambling and going off-track. Again. She cleared her throat. "Bring me the roots of the flower please." And with that she turned back to the Beta. Stop the blood. Okay. A million and one herbs, plants, and flowers ran through the small healers brain but only a paw-ful were useful right now. Sniffing the air for a moment, she darted off like a shooting star into some bushes and out the other end, quickly swerving and following a particular scent. Black walnuts. Gathering a few in her mouth, she raced back only to drop them near the huge, passed out body then race off again. Sweet, it had to be sweet. It was specific. It was a smell she was used to, a flower she had used a thousand times when patching up her brothers as kids. It took a while, heading more upstream of the river of the borders to find it. Damn this upcomming winter, killing all the flowers, Hoshi pouted as she finally found what she was looking for. The slightly withered forms on Honeysuckle. Perfect. Grabbing a bunch in her jaws, she quickly padded back, only stopping a few times to gather cobwebs on her tail. Using her paws, she squished the large amount of flowers until they became a squishy mush. She then cracked open the black walnuts, claws digging into the shell as they shot open from every direction like smashed glass. The healer mashed those too with the honeysuckle until a lot of thick paste had formed. She hadn't used this particular treatment before, but both nut and flower were hemostatics - herbs that encouraged blood clotting. Before she could apply it however, she had to wash some of the blood off to actually see the cuts and gashes. Yoki had already started but just the face wasn't gonna do it. Luckily the huge brute decided to collapse next to the damn river. Not so dumb after-all. The fireball instantly jumped into the river and kicked water onto the ivory-and-crimson form, a stream of diluted red slowly trickling from the mass of fur and flesh and into the river. Coming back to the male, blood had already started to re-form where his stomach and chest was. Okay this was point A. She quickly grabbed the blood-clotting mush and spread it evenly over the large, deep gashes. Hoshi continued to do this until every cut on the body had been covered, applying the sticky substance of the spider-webs afterwards to keep the area clean and to keep the medicine on the flesh. She would wait for Yoki to get back with the pain killer / sleep inducer before she would get started on the broken leg. the orange-pelted female then turned to the Noctis leader. "Alpha Luke, do you think you and your friend could carry him back to the commons?" Emerald and golden eyes flickered to the form of Luke and also two companions of his that she had never seen before. They didn't smell like Noctis but they smelt like pack. Perhaps a neighbor then. But her gaze rested on that of the rather large male. He could definitely be of help, especially as Zero was too damn overgrown.

| Delta Draco of Somnus
Draco watched as his brother approached from the heart of his territory. The smaller male was nothing compared to Draco. Luke looked more like Draco than he did Eureka, but all the siblings were rather similar in looks. Bringing his massive body to position itself in a relaxed dominant stature, he looked to his younger brother as he talked about the two staying. Eureka brought up the fact that she wanted to stay, but also brought the tragic news of their mother. He knew that Luke was definitely not as close with their mother as the two siblings from Somnus were, but he still knew that his brother would care about her death. Draco was still a grieving over his mother, even if she had passed peacefully, she was still someone that was important in the young male's life. And now he was going to have to live on without her. Giving a look towards Eureka, he then glanced back to Luke as their brother started walking off in the direction that he knew something had happened in. Looking towards Eureka, he took a couple steps forward, waiting on her to start walking before he would. They would follow their brother because it would be rude not too. Coming upon the scene, whether Eureka had decided to stay behind or not, he looked towards the large white wolf that was currently unconscious bleeding at Luke's borders. There was a rather young black wolf that Luke referred to as 'Yoki'. He asked her if a wolf named 'Hoshi' was alerted, and he figured that she was the salutary of the pack. Looking towards the wolf that approached, he assumed she was the one that was named off by Luke just a moment before. She seemed to know what she was doing, and Draco looked in anticipation, wondering what had happened to the large brute that was possibly dying. As she asked if they could carry the body back to the commons, Draco looked towards his brother. "I would be willing to help," He said, feeling the gaze of the salutary wolf upon him. He was large, and definitely be able to haul other wolves around.

| She was not surprised to see Luke handle the news so well. Of course, a small glimpse of grief was to cross him momentarily, but the siblings had been expecting their older mother's passing for quite some time now. However, it seemed that her mention of Violet had worked in bringing back the brighter tone of their meeting. Luke asking her to return the gesture when they returned to Somnus which prompted a chuckle from Eureka. "Of course." She assured.
It wasn't long after the words left her mouth that Luke's attention was elsewhere, a glance cast behind his shoulder to a commotion that was making itself apparent. Eureka furrowed her brow in concern as a tang of blood began to waft through the borders. Her tail was no longer swaying. "Would you like to accompany me to see what's happening?" Luke's offer was one that she couldn't refuse, her curiosity and worry channeled into the silent nod that she gave before wordlessly following the Alpha through his territory. Eureka gave a glance to Draco, wishing that his comforting and strong figure would stay nearby incase there was any danger.
It was an understatement to say that Eureka was horrified when they came to the scene, her caramel optics finding themselves staring at a white brute stained with red. The young Alphess's heart thundered in her chest. She had absolutely no clue who this injured male was, but the sight of him was enough to have her worried about his welfare, especially since he seemed to be one of Luke's wolves. While a pepper-coloured female lay by his side and a sun-dappled she-wolf—a salutary by the looks of it—dashed onto the scene, Eureka scooted herself closer to Luke, not daring to take her eyes off the injured male. "Will he be okay?" She spoke her concern quietly to her brother. Hopefully nobody would be dying today.

The large male that Hoshi had more-or-less asked the question to answered the Alpha. "I would be willing to help." he said and Hoshi beamed up at him with a smile. This was good, this was great. He was huge! He would definitely haul Zero's almost-dead-ass back to the commons. There she could appoint him to proper bed rest and maybe she could even find some wild lettuce around, the bitter substance acting as both a pain killer and a sedative. A moment later, the delta had arrived back with Mandragora roots and Hoshi gave the younger a small thank you before chewing the roots into a swallow-able paste. The petite female was careful to not let it touch her taste buds too much and extremely cautious not to swallow any, before shoving the paste down the Beta's throat. Using her paw, she delicately rubbed his neck to ensure the herbs went down smoothly and it wasn't long after they hit his digestive system did his breathing start to even out. "Okay.. He should be semi sedated by now.." She said, a little worried still before turning to Yoki. "Hunny, please turn away and cover your ears okay? I don't want you to have to hear this." She smiled sweetly. Zero's limbs were still broken and she had to snap them back into place to ensure healing. Not to mention the dislocated shoulder that needed popping back. She didn't wait very long for the Delta to do as she was told or not before quickly turning to the gigantic, unconscious lupine. With a deep breath, she whispered a "Sorry, Beta." before positing him into the exact way she needed. She stood up on her hind legs and dove down onto his shoulder, a large, spine wrecking crack rang through the trees as a pained yelp left the unconscious body's throat. She was quick to act with the other limb, twisting it until it was deemed frontwards again before using her paws to place pressure where the bones needed to be positioned, pained whines and groans left the Beta. Placing a thick, sturdy stick flush against the limb, Hoshi used the remains of the spider webs to weave the two together. The small fireball then turned to the two conscious males. "Alpha Luke, friend of Alpha Luke, please may you escort Beta Zero's body back to his den in the commons please? I believe he's in serious need of some rest, and may be unconscious for a while. But not to worry, I will monitor him hourly if need be." She chirped, eyes forming two crescent moons as she smiled up at the two, then to the stranger female. The little star knew they were worried for the ivory wolf, but she didn't doubt her own work.

| Seven loped and wove through the familiar woods, the still-fresh scent of her mate guiding her despite his considerable head start. As she neared her destination, it almost seemed that each stride added another scent to the mix. Some, the ebony female knew and recognized; Yoki - who somehow had gotten ahead of her despite leaving the commons later - and even Hoshi. But then there were others, a pair that were similar to one another but foreign to Seven. She wondered what their business here would be.However, something else danced through the air. A heavy, earthy scent that made the hair along the female’s spine stand up as a chill swept across her skin. Blood. And beneath it was something else, which sent a mingled pang of elation and fear through her.It can’t be, she thought to herself. Her pace picked up as her mind raced. Zero, who had vanished with little farewell. And now, it would seem that he had returned. Though Seven hadn’t been as close with the ivory male as Luke and Yoki had been, she had cherished him as a friend. And if he was hurt . . . She didn’t want to consider what he might have been through. She was barreling through the brush now, ignoring the twigs that tugged at her pelt until - there. Just ahead, a group of wolves was visible through the colorful leaves. Luke was there, with Yoki and Hoshi nearby. A pair of strangers stood with them, one male and one female, and both with color-spattered pelts. And at their paws, sprawled across the ground - Shit. There was Zero, limp upon the earth. His alabaster pelt was soaked in rust and crimson, and a mangled limb stretched awkwardly away from him. The air was thick with the worry of gathered wolves. A few lengthy, quick strides brought Seven to her mate’s side.Even as she brushed comfortingly against Luke’s side, she spoke in a voice that was hoarse and strained. “He’ll be okay, won’t he?” She wasn’t quite sure to whom she spoke. Perhaps her mate. Perhaps Hoshi, the capable healer who now cared for the fallen male. Whatever the case, when she spoke again, her voice was stronger. “Whatever you need, Hoshi, I’m at your disposal.”

| His eyes looked to Hoshi, knowing that he and Draco would need to move the body. Looking to the smaller she-wolf, he nodded to her, and she moved aside. Luke brought his head to nudge underneath Zero's rear end, knowing that Draco could simply grab the male's scruff. Hoisting the white alabaster body onto his shoulders, he looked to Draco and gave a small firm nod. Turning his attention to Eureka, Seven and then to Hoshi, he gave a soft smile to all of them. "Let's head back to the commons," He said to all of them. Bringing his attention to the wolf helping him carry his Beta's body, he gave a small nod too. His siblings was much larger than him, but he knew that he should be able to help at least. "I'll steer us in the right direction, just make sure we don't tear him in half," He told his brother, already knowing that he would be listening and willing to follow Luke. Although his brother could be rather stubborn, it was known between the three surviving siblings of Rage and River's Litter that they would not argue with each other.
They worked together as a unit to move the white body through the trees and terrain of Noctis, heading to the common grounds with Hoshi right on their heels, making sure that Zero was heavily asleep while they were carrying him. She wove underneath their paws mostly, making sure that none of Zero's wounds would open anymore than they already were. This was a dangerous and diligent process, and they would need to take all the time in the world to ensure that the white male did not die during transport. Luke had almost forgotten about Yoki, but she was by their side the entire time, making sure that her mate was okay, and consistently checking with Hoshi if that were the case.
