Ater : Noctis Wolf
Isolated, friendless, dejected, neglected, overlooked. Ater’s head sunk down further with all these words, emotion swelling within her usually placid gaze. She stood, seemingly invisible to all in the middle of the clearing, her chest heaving. Her head rung. Coward, useless, bitter, a burden. Her throat caught, fur bristling. Around her, the pack swelled with activity. Some were crowned Beta, Delta. Some newbies were given Omega. Ater was disregarded, she was nothing. Merely a silhouette within Noctis pack. Luke had announced his new Alphess. Was she meant to be happy? Has no one else felt this vile feeling, the urge to just scream, and cry? The urge to break down, the urge to end it all? In her mind, Ater was simply a lifeless face to soon forget.
She looked around with eyes blurry with tears, and trudged to the edge of the common ground, allowing her body to give in, making contact with the harsh ground. The dull pain that licked at her was nothing, her eyes dull as she stared at nothing in particular, listening to the rush of the trees under the wind. There she lay, the only other figure in sight being a fire colored male, and near him, a smaller white lupine. Ater huffed, investigating the two with no curiosity. She held interest in nothing, the chattering of birds, or the idea of hunting suddenly becoming a numb, and distant thought. Huffing, the lupine pulled herself into a sitting position, staring at the ground, lost in her own self-deprecating thoughts.

| Luke's attention was grasped by the female that stood before him. She was indeed nervous, and he knew that sometimes being in front of a superior would make a wolf like that. Cranberry optics took a look behind him as Feyre went to talk with Seven. He was hopeful that the two would get along, especially considering he loved both of them with all of his heart. And he was hopeful that Feyre would be a good older sister when Seven was to bear Luke's pups, if she wished too of course. Turning his head back to Hoshi, his ears kept on her as she talked about being able to heal. Signi, their previous healer was a wolf that was never seen around anymore. He hadn't seen the albino in some time, so he had to assume that she had abandoned her pack life, and either returned to being a rogue, or moved on to find a pack that she liked. He wasn't close with her, so he wasn't sure why or where she would have gone, but he was hopeful that Hoshi could fill in her position.
"Well, we currently do not have a healer. We previously had one, but it seems that she has abandoned our pack," He stated, looking towards Hoshi. "I'll have to test your skills later when there are injuries within the pack, but for right now, you will be Noctis' unofficial Salutary," He then looked over towards the other wolves that were conversing, wondering if he had heard what he said. He hoped that they knew this new she-wolf would be the one to heal them if they were ever in trouble, but if she proved unfit for the position, he would bump her down to an Omega until he found a position that she would be able to fit in well with. "You're welcome to join us in our meal," He stated, giving a respectful dip of his head to the she-wolf before approaching the kill, taking a bite from it, chewing, and then swallowing the flesh. Others would come and go, pick at the carcass until there were only bones. Maybe one of the pups would steal some of the ribcage bones, or the leg bones for playtoys that they could tug around between the three of them, or simply chew on when they were teething.
Looking around for his Beta and Delta, he wondered where exactly they had run off too. He knew that Zero had an outburst, so he'd more than likely gone to cool down as Luke had suggested, and Yoki might have gone with. Giving a small shake of his head, he wondered where Empyrean was right now. She was always the light of the pack, the one who could bring a smile to everyone's faces. Hopefully she hadn't encountered anything at the borders that was worrisome. That and she had one of the omegas with her, so he hoped that they were okay, and headed back soon. A small sweep of his tail, the male would observe his pack members. There were small groups conversing everywhere. He didn't want to barge into any conversations, so he instead sat watching, proud of where his pack was now.

Wren's once gentle grin fell when she watched Newt tremble. He was cracking, and not in a good way. The creamy-grey wolf was coming apart at the seams, right in front of her, all because of her question. An immense feeling of guilt coursed through her as she continued to watch Newt quiver. She hadn't meant to hurt the other wolf, just wanted to keep up conversation.
His head fell once more and he muttered a single word in a shaky voice, "Omega.." Wren's eyes shot open, wider than they had been before. There was no way that Newt really wanted to be an Omega. "That's a-all I deserve.." Newt finished, liquid threatening to spill from his eyes. Wren's tail lashed behind her as she watched Newt.
There was no way that he actually believed that he was worth so little. Everyone deserved something, something more than Omega. Moving into action, she lowered her head down, leaving at at his level before moving forwards slightly. coming closer to him, but not so close that he would feel the need to flinch away immediately.
"Oh, Newt. You can't think that you are only worthy of a title so low. What skills do you have? And don't you say nothing, because I know that everyone is good at something, even if it's small, It's something," Wren spoke in a gentle tone that hardened when she told him not to say nothing. She knew that there was something that this wolf could do, even if he didn't think that he could. "I promise that we will not judge you, no matter what you say, Newt," Wren whispered, in a gentle tone, moving a small bit backward to allow the cream wolf to have his space.
What Wren really wanted to do was give Newt a caress, a wolfy hug, but she knew that she couldn't. All the young she-wolf could do was try to heal him with her words, which were juvenile and inexperienced, but it was the best she could do for Newt. She watched him with her amber eyes, looking for his reaction to her words. She wanted to wipe his tears away, but al she could to was watch them threaten to fall down his cheeks.

At Wren's lick between her ears, Aili's tail swished a bit. She felt like a pup again, but oddly, it felt okay. "You're w-welcome," his tone of voice changed. His expression became different, as well, and his eyes turned to her muzzle as a little rumble rolled up his throat. Was he… uncomfortable? Angry? Annoyed, distant, disinterested towards Aili or did he not like her? Aili couldn't know, and didn't want to jump to conclusions and assume. She also didn't care too much. So, so as not to get or give the wrong idea, she did not poke or prod. However, with difficulty, she tried to tone down her emotions, though she really could not help it and typically had no wish to hide her irritation. "What rank do both of you wish you were in?" Wren asks, moving closer to Aili so that their bodies were closer, the gesture more friendly, openly so. Aili wished they could pass these affections on to Newt, but that was blatantly inappropriate given their current relationship. At the question, one by one, his features started to shut down before going into hyper-drive. He was breaking down, before Aili's eyes. Aili was not a very good wolf when it came to emotions and comforting others, and had a bad case of word vomit and bluntness, especially in the worst situations. "Omega… That's a-all I deserve…" he says, looking down at his paws with an intense gaze becoming so full of emotion and tears that Aili wondered if he could tell it was his paws he was staring at. If he was just going to act like this, maybe it was all he deserved. Aili shook her head away, cursing at how rude that thought was. Annoyed, frustrated, blunt, and a major case of sass and word vomit were all about to come up. Thankfully, Wren spoke and became friendly and comforting, soon enough so that it reminded Aili to stay calm. Aili managed to cool off, before her emotions had become visible to the wolves around her. The last thing she wanted to do was make Newt break down more. "Oh, Newt." Wren starts. "You can't think that you are only worthy of a title so low. What skills do you have? And don't say you have nothing, because I know that everyone is good at something, even if it's small. It's something." At this, Aili can't help but think ' But not everyone can see or reveal their skills… like me.' "I promise that we will not judge you, no matter what you say, Newt." Aili felt the word vomit coming up fast. However, the thing about it was, even as it was coming up and she knew she shouldn't say it, she couldn't choke it back. Hopefully a bit of tough speak wouldn't put him over the edge of the precipice that he already balanced his claws over. Perhaps toughness was just what he needed? She couldn't wait anymore. Here was the waterfall of words. "Everyone starts out as omega." Her voice is flat, thankfully. Normally it would have annoyance, sass, something more in there. However, her tone and expression are flat and do not show any of this, just her regular bluntness. "And everyone deals with it. No one wants to, really, but even I would have had to become Omega first if I joined the pack at an older age." She tilts her head just a bit, the small motion just enough to make her dusty-rose colored ears flop over. Honey-colored eyes gaze levelly and keep contact with Newt's. "They don't know what you're good at and, until then, you will remain Omega. Others have to go through it too. Sometimes you just have to disregard your doubt and fear and lack of confidence. Suck it up, buttercup. This kind of attitude and confidence won't get you anywhere." She had honestly left some things out, like the fact that if they did not see what you were truly good at, you could end up stuck in the wrong position. That you could feel like a shell, your body moving like a robot to fulfill your duties, but your heart moving like a river current to try and drag you to its desire, your truly deserved position. However, she was kind of done complaining about her position, done dwelling on it, and didn't want to be too up-front with this seemingly sensitive wolf. @newt Alphess Wren OOC: Sorry, Aili's not in a good mood but I think her pout is over she's becoming quite the sass) SaveSave

@conradweller
.:Post:.
Conrad nearly shot up at the words "Yeah me too" but he relaxed as he realized who the voice belonged to. "Hey Tammy," he smiled as his adopted son sat next to him. "Seems as though Feyre is busy huh? Is that why you're bored too?" He chuckled as he had a feeling his son liked the she wolf, more than a friend. He hoped Feyre felt the same as Tamlin, for he had this feeling there was a certain connection between the two. He smiled softly but suddenly a figure caught the corner of his eye. It was a she wolf and Conrad judged by her demeanor she felt depressed. A guilt seemed to flood over the male as he looked over towards her. "Hey Tam, I'll be back okay?" He spoke softly before walking over to the lonely creature.
Conrad bent down and tilted his head so his eyes met the eyes of the she wolf who stared at the ground. "Hey, may I ask why you are crying?" He asked softly as he gazed at her tear filled eyes that seemed to glaze over. Inside Conrad's heart was broken, but when he saw a upset packmate it crushed him, it more like got to him. He wanted to do what he could to comfort her, no matter the cost. His fiery pelt shown off in the sun as he moved next to her and sat down, "I hope you're all right, is there anything I can do for you?" He asked as he locked eyes with her.

A light shudder ran through Hoshi's body. Her burning-star like pelt bristling in a state of nerves, she wasn't like this all the time. No the day dreamer had some sort of social skills, she just wasn't that comfortable around the new wolves. Her comfort zone she was used to was her and her brothers. But this was a little over whelming. Suddenly golden ears perked forward as the Alpha began to speak again, although her gaze was still locked onto the ground as if it were something more interesting than just dirt. "Well, we currently do not have a healer. We previously had one, but it seems that she has abandoned our pack," Hoshi's eyes widened as they looked up to the Noctis Alpha, a little hope slivering through her chocolate orange eyes. "I'll have to test your skills later when there are injuries within the pack, but for right now, you will be Noctis' unofficial Salutary,". A dazzling smile settled itself onto Hoshi's pretty features, her fire-like tail wagging slightly behind her small frame. "Thank you, thank you so much!" she said, her tone not only ecstatic but also a little louder than her previous mumbles. The multi-tone male then glanced around to the rest of the pack and Hoshi did likewise. Her eyes scanning each individual. They all seemed healthy physically, although some seemed to be in tears and rather depressed. A small sad frown etched itself onto her face. She would have to start somewhere, and as a potential Salutary, she would have to take care of the pack members not only psychically but also mentally. "You're welcome to join us in our meal," the highest ranking male spoke and Hoshi gave a small nod in appreciation. She had recently eaten not too long ago so her nutrition wasn't a concern. What did concern the little fire-ball was skinny, feminine looking male who seemed to be rather down. Hoshi took a deep breath and put on her 'brave face' before tearing off some of the carcass the hunters provided, holding it in her jaws as she made a B-line towards the small male. By the time the sunset-pelted female had gotten to him, another larger female had embraced him in a sort of comfort just as another female had ranted. Although Hoshi agreed with some of her words, she was still being pretty rude and Hoshi gave a small glare at her. She dropped the bloody piece of meat infront of his paws and gave him a bright smile to match her star-like name. "Here, eat this. It'll help." her voice wavered and although it was only half true, what Hoshi thought the male needed was a little distraction. It wasn't easy for everyone, and Hoshi could relate as her insides twisted with anxiety. But she would put on a brave confident face, since she wasn't the one hurt here.

@filtiarnThe Noctis Pack A silver pelt moved through the trees of the common grounds. The male glanced around at everything, only to find his brother Conrad sitting alone. However he was soon joined by Tamlin, and after a few words filtiarn watched his brother pad over to a she wolf who sat alone. She seemed sad, but he felt if anyone could help her it was his Connie.
The silver male found himself looking over towards Tamlin and he walked over, "hey Tamlin, so my brother left you here in boredom?" Filtiarn asked as he sat beside the young white pelt. Tamlin had grown so much bigger as the time passed and filly smiled. "So you want to hang out for a while? I mean i'm bored too, there isn't really anything to do. Plus, we aren't really as close as we should be right?" He paused with a smile, "My brother is your father figure, so that makes me your uncle right?" He chuckled.
Filtiarn looked around, since he was still in the omega rank there wasn't really anything to do unless someone had a task for you. So he figured that left a lot of free time to do stuff unless a direct order from the alpha was recieved. The silver male glanced at Tamlin again, wondering what to do. "Hey you want to go on a walk or something? Maybe in another area and come back later?" He asked Tam, he was bored so he figured he'd do anything besides sitting around.

Zachariah ~ Noctis Warrior "You can become great, but only after you work towards success."
The brute had tried his best to maintain his stoic state, ears looming over his head, eyes casually pouncing across the well designed lupines form, and tail settled in unmoving manner. "Yeah, I'm alright." As the female responded, he couldn't help the skipped beat of his heart and unapproved swish of his tail when she graced him with angelic smile. There was something about the way she looked at him, the way she beamed an unbeatable smile every time she looked in his direction. His heart just melted each time, the aching it caused pulling him to cast a quick glance across the commons, ears faltering backwards and tail growing rigid from its previous motion.
Through the corner of his marigold gaze, he'd spot the motions of Sasha, looking off into the distance herself before suddenly her eyes- Those dazzling, burgundy colored eyes she wore like diamonds, were rested upon him. "Um, Zach, I need to talk to you about something." As her bell-like voice began to call for his attention, the sensation of needing to meet her gaze was more than he could deny, and so, in a swift motion he'd let his brightened orbs meet hers. Confusion. Shock. Fear. Three emotions all began to morph his normally blank visage- Had he done something wrong? Was she going to request he leave her alone?
"Follow me." The rather hurried accentuation to her words only left him begging to know more. He was utterly lost, and as she strode past him, he couldn't help but follow suit after her bushy ink dipped tail grazed his chest in invitation to keep up. With his ears to half fall before rising to a leaned position, Zach would quickly cast a glance around the commons, assessing each wolves activities before resting his focus on the leading Beta. From here, he could see the sway of her stride, the prowess of her femininity mixed with the dominance of her power. Pure, undying attraction was all he felt, and as they traversed through the forestry, he'd feel the solid lump of fear threatening to cut his circulation off instantly.

Newt : Omega of Noctis
Newt's breaths shook, clear liquid threatening to spill down his cheeks. Tensing his muscles, pink eyes squeezed shut, attempting to keep the tears from flowing. Everything was shattering around him, breaking, and following into weak, pathetic shards. But they couldn't understand. They didn't know. Stifling a sob, Newt didn't flinch as the female by the name of Wren lowered herself, instead, he briefly pressed his nose to her shoulder as she spoke, a silent thanks. "Oh, Newt. You can't think that you are only worthy of a title so low. What skills do you have? And don't you say nothing, because I know that everyone is good at something, even if it's small, It's something." Newt furrowed his brow, how could he, the sad, depressed wolf he is now, carry any skill he once had? "I promise that we will not judge you, no matter what you say, Newt." The lithe lupine opened his blurry berry-colored eyes, searching Wren's gaze for the first time. One of the knots in is stomach seemed to loosen, her words slowly sinking into his self-deprecating thoughts.
"I can heal," He tucked his chin back down, his eyes drifting over his paws once again. He blinked, his voice cracking as he spoke. "M-My sister he-helped me learn." He choked out, not discussing the whereabouts of his mentioned sibling. But, the slight calm that overtook him hardly lasted, as the sharp words of Aili shook within his head. Snapping his eyes up, his bright gaze bore into hers, his ears pressing flat on his skull, his hackles bristling as he recoiled backwards, a stifled growl echoing in his throat.
"They don't know what you're good at and, until then, you will remain Omega. Others have to go through it too. Sometimes you just have to disregard your doubt and fear and lack of confidence. Suck it up, buttercup. This kind of attitude and confidence won't get you anywhere." He snapped, but not in the same way. Growling, this asshole of a wolf pushed him one step to far. Already emotional, this female seemed to mistake him for a ragdoll. Did he ask for her advice? No. Baring his teeth in anger, he stepped forwards, his gaze clashing with hers.
"You ignorant wolf, you think you got me all figured out." His words were short, each one dipping lower in tone as he pushed forwards towards her, his tail lashing as he spoke. "Well, honey, you don't. Where in the hell did you get the audacity to speak to me as if I'm a pup, as if I can't care for myself?" He shook his head, his snarls quieting. "Before you bestow your "knowledge" on me," Sarcasm was thick in his voice, pure rage seeping from his heart. "Why don't you fix your own problems, because the only place your attitude landed you was hunter." He tilted his head, clearly he had noticed her discomfort with her current rank. Of course, it shone in her like the moon on a starless night. Newt was intelligent, he could read her expression, her tone. He could analyze her body language. It's how he used to survive.
He quieted, creamy ears twitching as a melodic voice chirped behind him. "Here, eat this. It'll help." Twisting around, Newt stared at the small wolf's paws, where a piece of prey lay. Scanning over her, she seemed to be rather confident. She was new, and the Alpha had apparently already trusted her. By the way she phrased her sentence, she wasn't offering it to him as a greeting, rather, an order. Newt frowned slightly, his expression blank. Why had she gotten first pick among the ranks here? Sure, he had come barely before, but what made her so special? Why did this female deserve the rank he longed for? The only rank he felt he was capable of handling. Jealousy curled around him, but he quickly shook it away, and instead dipped his head to her.
"Tha-Thank you.." He murmured awkwardly, hoping his previous outburst wouldn't affect his impression upon the petite bitch. Nervously, he would take the prey, devouring it in a few, quick bites. In his world, if you didn't eat fast, you didn't eat. "I'm Newt." He would say, searching her expression briefly. Why had this wolf bothered to even approach him? He was merely a sack of skin and bones. He hardly deserved such a kind wolf's time. "W-What's your name?" He inquired, tipping his head ever-so-slightly, before casting a shifty glance back at Aili, pondering what her reaction would be to his rather harsh words.

Aili cocks a brow at the female who passes by and glares at her, as if daring her to say something. After Newt was finished with his little piece, Aili sighed and shook her head, she hated wolves who couldn't take the hard facts. All she said said was that everyone starts out as an omega, and he would remain like that until the Alpha saw where he belonged.. Looking up, she watched him walk away, and as she started to walk past him to go find a nice place to rest, she flicks an ear and says her 'goodbye.' "Take my truth how you want, though it wasn't an insult," she says, beginning to walk past him. She is perfectly calm, rather unbothered by his hostility. "I never said or implied I had you figured out, but if you wish to draw random points from out of nowhere, fine by me. That's not how I speak to a pup, either, that is how I speak to an adult who I assume is responsible enough to take the facts. And my attitude didn't land me a position as a scout," she says, correcting his mistake. "I didn't have or focus on an attitude as I was hunting down food for the pack. My skills best appointed me to being a scout, and I'm taking it maturely." Unlike others… she adds in her head. She walks past him fully now, her tail to him, rosy fur swishing side to side pleasantly. She briefly thinks about her only (perhaps now no longer) friend, but still walks away from Wren, whom she assumes won't want to see her anymore, anyways. It wasn't her problem how he handled her words, because oftentimes in a pack, the hard stuff was what you would get. She assumed she would be punished somehow by an authority for making a newcomer cry, or whatever. Fine by her, she didn't really care. If she deserved it, then she deserved it. With a small smile, something perhaps considered odd given that she had just made a sort of foe, she settles down onto a comfortable patch of grass. Laying down, her head on her front paws, she briefly wonders if there is something wrong with her. She quickly dispels this, telling herself: It doesn't matter what he thinks. If I am best as Scout, then I am best as Scout. Briefly, she also wonders why Newt felt the need to take a jar at her position. That had taken it kind of personal, hadn't it? Whatever, she was over it. With a small huff, Aili watches the complicated life of the camp go by, her not included. @newt Alphess Wren Salutary HoshiOOC: Nothing personal! Lol she's just kind of a walking, blunt, straight-forward sass-bucket xD ))

Mᴀʏᴛʀ ɴᴏᴄᴛɪs ᴡᴏʟғ
As the sun-dappled female had begun to saunter over to the newly appointed Alphess, the russet yearling merely withdrew from the Alpha, his pupils darting from one place to another as his stomach seeming to pool with anxiety. His ears started to retreat towards the back of his cranium, but he simply refused, the satisfying aroma of the carcass dragging him away from his negativity as it drifted into his glands. The smell forced him to hesitantly join in the feast. Dragging his lengthy pink tongue across his onyx lips, he parted his maw for an inaudible yawn as his stomach seemed to be satisfied.
His attention seemed to drift towards Feyre, watching her conversation which seemed to be inaudible to his ears. He never liked eavesdropping, anyway. It felt wrong. What if I'm noticeable? The mere thought seemed to be a trigger for his mental criticism, jerking his pretty russet and gray head to the side, where there he noticed the familiar tangerine coat of Conrad Weller, approaching what seemed to be a frail wolf on the nerve of an emotional breakdown, but slightly recovering from it. He couldn't help but narrow his eyes at the ivory coat of Tamlin, jealousy pricking at his paw pads as negativity blossomed at the back of his mind. Half of himself seemed to question why he felt such a negative opinion around the younger lupine. He didn't do anything wrong. But, he couldn't just shake off the feeling. This isn't like me. Almost the entirety of himself seemed to agree. He wasn't the type of wolf to confront or dislike for a random reason, he was supposed to be smart, civil, and mature.
He countered his attitude with the simple approach. Maybe he should get to know Tamlin better, besides, he overall enjoyed Conrad's company. A smile drifting across the yearling's onyx lips, he approached the trio, casting a glance towards the tangerine male. "Hi, Conrad." He said, tilting his head towards Tamlin's direction as well. "And Tamlin," He added smoothly. "-what's going on?" He knew those words would spark up a conversation, or at least maybe small talk. He just wanted to pass the time. The shaky words that Newt spoke almost made Wren melt with relief. Her gentle words had worked, had gotten though to the scarred male. "I can heal."M-My sister he-helped me learn," Newt choked on the second sentence, showing that there was still a fresh wound within those words. She gave a bright smile to Newt, giving her support for his bravery. She knew that the mostly cream coloured male had a skill hidden under his low self-esteem. A healer, Noctis needed one of those, Wren thought back, not remembering seeing Signi lately at all. "Everyone starts out as omega. And everyone deals with it. No one wants to, really, but even I would have had to become Omega first if I joined the pack at an older age. They don't know what you're good at and, until then, you will remain Omega. Others have to go through it too. Sometimes you just have to disregard your doubt and fear and lack of confidence. Suck it up, buttercup. This kind of attitude and confidence won't get you anywhere," the sharp tone of the younger Aili took her off guard. She stepped away from the she-wolf she thought was her friend before, almost disgusted by the tone and words that Aili had used towards Newt. To patronize a wolf after just meeting them, and after seeing first paw that they were not the most confident of wolves, was completely out of character for the Aili that Wren thought she knew. However, it seemed that both of the wolves she had in her company were strangers, as Newt lashed out, "You ignorant wolf, you think you got me all figured out. Well, honey, you don't. Where in the hell did you get the audacity to speak to me as if I'm a pup, as if I can't care for myself? Before you bestow your "knowledge" on me, why don't you fix your own problems, because the only place your attitude landed you was hunter."Still shocked by the seemingly newly found confidence of Newt, she didn't have the heart to tell him that Aili was a scout. However, she did feel a pang in her heart when he mentioned that it had only gotten Aili to a hunter rank. She herself was a hunter, and loved it, so why Newt would think that it didn't take effort and fineness was beyond her. She had worked hard for her rank, especially in the first two months of her time in Noctis, and she was still learning from the other wolves in her hunting parties so that her skills would improve, and she could take down prey with ease in the future. "Take my truth how you want, though it wasn't an insult," The seemingly unbothered voice of Aili snapped her out of her thoughts, "I never said or implied I had you figured out, but if you wish to draw random points from out of nowhere, fine by me. That's not how I speak to a pup, either, that is how I speak to an adult who I assume is responsible enough to take the facts. And my attitude didn't land me a position as a scout. I didn't have or focus on an attitude as I was hunting down food for the pack. My skills best appointed me to being a scout, and I'm taking it maturely."With those words, Aili strutted away, her tail swaying behind her as if she was satisfied with her words. Wren watched her go with slightly narrowed eyes, not knowing what had gotten into the younger wolf. She was going to apologise to Newt for Aili, but a new voice entered the conversation, "Here, eat this. It'll help." The young she-wolf didn't mind the new she-wolf's addition to the conversation; she couldn't find the words to apologize anyway. She didn't recognize the voice, so she assumed that this was the wolf that young Feyre and Maytr had brought back from the borders. Seeing that she had gotten a chunk of flesh from one of the deer, Wren dipped her head to both of them and gave a quick, "Excuse me," before trotting over to the carcasses. They had gone slightly cold, but were definitely still fresh, the blanketed she-wolf determined as she neared the deer that she had helped bring down. Nary a dent had eaten from both of the carcasses, so Wren decided to add her scratch into the pile. Flicking her gaze towards the Alpha pair, just to make sure that she could take her share, she sank her teeth into the flank of the buck that she had helped to bring down. She buried her carnassials deep into the buck's flank, and clamped her jaws together before yanking backwards a few times in order to actually rip of a decently sized chunk of venison. Satisfied with the amount of meat she had taken for now, the young lupess headed back over to where Newt and the new wolf were still stationed. After hearing Newt's inquiry to the new russet wolf, Wren tuned in to the conversation once more. She was eager to get to know her new packmate, alongside find out what happened with Newt's sudden confidence boost. Hopefully, the small russet wolf would say her name, and once she did, Wren would happily introduce herself with a slightly quiet, "Welcome to Noctis, I'm Wren."While she waited for the conversation to continue, she sank her teeth into the chunk of rump steak she had ripped off, savoring each bite as if it was the first piece of prey that she had ever brought down. In her mind, all of the prey that had been brought down with her help was important, and she wanted to feel the same sense of pride and joy as she had when she brought down her first fawn, no matter what Newt's opinion towards hunting was. @newt @aili Salutary Hoshi

Hoshi watched with a roll of her eyes as the dramatic young she wolf half-strutted away with her tail held high, a frown flickered slightly along the fireballs pretty features. The other female had quickly excused herself to delve into the freshly caught carcass yet Hoshi was still caught up with the other she-wolfs appalling behavior - especially as the feminine looking male seemed just as newly appointed to the pack as Hoshi was. They were practically in the same boat. "So over dramatic." she huffed quietly, the look of distaste never leaving her face as she looked over the female, her high and mighty attitude making Hoshi grimace slightly. "With that attitude, a scout is all she'll ever be." she spoke softly with a sigh, her features lighting back up as she looked back towards the male, green flecked with golden eyes resting on his form. The orange-pelted female thought for a second, she could have sworn she was meant to do something before the dramatic outbursts. She thought hard, eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly as she gazed downwards. What was she doing again? In the time she thought, the more mature she-wolf had returned after having ripping off a chunk of meat and had joined back into their conversation. "Welcome to Noctis, I'm Wren.". It was then that it clicked in Hoshi's day dreamer mind before she had gotten herself side tracked. Oh. Oh! The male -named Newt- had inquired her name. A bright yet shy smile etched itself onto the small females lips as she beamed at both the female and male. "My name is Hoshi~!" she said, voice like a feather, with a small tilt of her head, smile only growing as her eyes became crescent moons. "It's a pleasure to meet you both." she chirped although very softly, her sunset tail softly swaying side to side behind her petite frame.

Newt ; Omega of Noctis
Newt huffed quietly, his chest rising and falling evenly as he pondered the past day. Like a swift breeze, a rush of emotions had blown into him, lifting him off his feet, and smashing him into the ground with a merciless grin. The cream hued lupine resembled someone circling the drain, his ribs stuck out, along with his hips, and his legs were painfully thin. Malnutrition obscured the small flame of strength that resided in him from view, the smallest amount of confidence that merely licked at him at rare moments, the only thing keeping him alive. Behind him, Aili had picked herself up, and walked past him almost tauntingly, daring him to snap once again. "Take my truth how you want, though it wasn't an insult," Slowly, a grin drifted across his innocent features, his pink eyes closing as a small laugh escaped his mouth, his head ducking at her foolishness. Had he been the least bit stronger, the smaller wolf would have marched right up to her, and would have proceeded to rip her down from that high horse. But, instead, a deep inhale replaced any retort, and a crooked, small smile replaced his painfully amused grin. Once again, a knot loosened from his tightened stomach as his eyes drifted over the small ray of sun, her brows pulling together in a small frown. It. Was. Adorable. "So over dramatic." Newt nodded in grim agreement, his ears pulling forwards from their position flat on his skull. He felt oddly comfortable, around both this little female, and Wren. The two had brought a odd feeling of safety that he had been lacking for some time. But of course, those scars may never heal. "With that attitude, a scout is all she'll ever be." Berry colored eyes flickered, only now realizing that in his adrenaline spurred burst, he had called that brat a hunter. Shit. Newt internally cursed, but he agreed with the flame colored wolf none-the-less. Suddenly, she had drifted into thought. A grin was plastered upon the nervous male's face, finding her slight confusion that sparkled across her to be rather amusing. Oh, there we go.. The lupine thought, nodding as she perked up, a shy, yet beautiful smile crossing her. "My name is Hoshi~!" Hoshi... "It's a pleasure to meet you both."Newt fidgeted nervously, like usual, his tail tip curling in pure anxiety. "And you, Hoshi." Her name floated off his tongue almost oddly, his accented tone perked as he murmured his response. "You seem to h-have fit right in here, hav-haven't you?" He joked, hiding the jealousy that curled around his heart, his insides burning, churning.

The young alabaster pup restricted the circular movement of his eyes as the tangerine pelt of his practically father "Hey Tammy. Seems as though Feyre is busy huh? Is that why you're bored too?" Conrad asked. The snowy cheeks on Tamlin's face painted themselves a link shade of pink. He didn't think that he was that obvious in his adoration, but apparently, he wasn't as smooth as he thought. "No...," He unconvincingly muttered out, but his word seemed to be lost on his father anyway. His focus was on a wolf that looked awfully sad. "Hey Tamlin, so my brother left you here in boredom?" Filtiarn's voice startled the growing pup, "So you want to hang out for a while? I mean I'm bored too, there isn't really anything to do. Plus, we aren't really as close as we should be right? My brother is your father figure, so that makes me your uncle right?" The silver male was technically correct, but Tamlin couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness as he thought of his real father, or the lack thereof. "Hey you want to go on a walk or something? Maybe in another area and come back later?" The offer was enticing, but the approach of a certain yearling dampened his mood further. "Hi, Conrad. And Tamlin, what's going on?" Tamlin resisted the urge to growl at the much older male. Throwing in his name like an extra morsel to the conversation; how dare he?! Suddenly, the opportunity to leave the common grounds seemed worse than before. He wanted to scout out Maytr, figure out what his deal was, and why he just wouldn't stop annoying him, intentionally or not. "No, thank you," He responded to his figurative Uncle, "Nothing much, Maytr." His tone was slightly cold towards the older male, but it was the nicest he could act towards him at the present moment. @maytr @conradweller @filtiarn Hunting Superior Ater
