| Here she was.The moments since the announcement of Seven’s new title had been fleeting so far, and the sensation was a rush to the ebony female. It had all happened so fast, and now she was standing next to Noctis’s alpha, having not only soared from the rank of omega to that of alphess, but become the mate of one of the most amazing wolves she had ever had the privilege of meeting, within a few short moments. Time seemed to alternate between dragging by as she gathered herself and thought of the recent events and rushing by like a wave crashing on the shore as realization struck her all over again. It was a euphoric state, though nervous she continued to be, that she had settled into. Seconds after Seven had stepped back from the carcass to allow Luke space to join into the meal, a foreign scent drifted into the commons. Luke clearly had noticed it to, on edge as a new form slipped into the camp, seemingly unaware or uncaring that it was not his place to enter a pack’s territory without permission. Seven straightened up, arching her neck slightly as she gazed severely at her twin of hue. Whereas she had remained in place, however, her mate had been the more active of the two. He launched forward, snarling and snapping at the rogue brute. Seven took a few steps forward to follow him, taking up a defensive stance a short ways behind him, though she left room for Luke to handle conversing with the trespasser. "What are you doing on my territory, trespasser?" the alpha growled. Seven’s eyes locked onto the black male as he spoke. Though he seemed not to pose a threat at the time, the female’s expression and body language were clear, a dare for him to make a single move out of line as he made his reply. The obsidian male introduced himself as “Black”, and asked for a place in the pack.
In the midst of the conversation between the two, Feyre had appeared in the camp and padded over to Luke’s side. Seven had been surprised when she had heard the multicolored she-wolf address Luke as “Dad”, but she shook it off. Despite the tense situation that had fallen over the commons, a soft smile flickered across her visage. It was sweet, seeing how Feyre had taken to viewing Luke as a father figure. The dark female wondered if the younger she-wolf would ever view her as a mother, now that she was Luke’s mate.
Luke’s voice brought Seven back into the present, her head swiveling back to face the confrontation directly. The male’s request for acceptance into the ranks of Noctis was met with dismissal from Luke. The black male quickly turned tail and vanished into the brush. With the rogue gone from the camp, Seven watched as her mate approached and greeted Feyre with a nuzzle. In reply, the pretty young female explained that she and Maytr had returned from the borders with a she-wolf by the name of Hoshi. Seven watched as Luke began to converse with the newcomer. Her focus borke away from her mate with the approach of another wolf nearby.
The onyx female turned to meet with Feyre, a smile crossing her lips as the younger she-wolf came closer. "C-congratulations," Feyre spoke up as she approached. Seven was touched by the words that flowed from her tongue next. “I'm glad that you and Luke found each other, i-it's obvious that you make him happy," she paused for a breath, "And whatever makes him happy, makes me happy as well." Seven’s expression softened even further than it already had, a gentle, genuine smile on her lips. Her eyes glimmered with warmth as she looked down to the multihued female. “Thank you, Feyre, that means a lot to me.” She thought back to a moment before, the way Feyre and Luke had interacted. “It’s very clear to me that you make him very happy as well, and that is yet another thing I must thank you for. The two of you seem to care for one another very much. He’s lucky to have a daughter like you.”Golden eyes met silver as the youngling looked up. Seven gazed back with a kind, hopeful expression. Whatever was to come, she hoped that she and Feyre could be close.Tagged:Alpha Luke , Feyre | OOC: I AM SO, SO SORRY FOR MY ABSENCE. Feyre of Noctis “Thank you, Feyre, that means a lot to me.” It was the sincere and kind tone that sparked a hope in Feyre's chest, Seven's words shooing the unnecessary doubt and worry that plagued her. The youngling smiled and raised her head slightly. “It’s very clear to me that you make him very happy as well, and that is yet another thing I must thank you for. The two of you seem to care for one another very much. He’s lucky to have a daughter like you.”
Feyre's gentle smile grew ever so slightly, a confidence bubbling within her, thanks to Seven's kind words. It made her question why she had ever been worried about it. Seven was a nice she-wolf with morals that seemed to be equal to Luke's, and Feyre's. The golden youngling would fit in nicely with the pair, and Seven would fit in nicely with the pup and her father. She looked forward to getting to know the she-wolf, who would probably end up becoming another role-model for the young girl.
"Thank you, Seven. You're a very caring and admirable wolf, and I hope that I can learn from you as I do from Luke. And hopefully, we'll one day be able to consider each other to be family." Everything that Feyre spoke was true, perhaps it was something a bit too 'wise' for someone of her age to be saying and a drastic turn of her previously reserved approach, but it was the truth. She really did admire Seven after learning that she was a respectable character, and she hoped that one day she would be able to consider Seven to be her mother as she thought of Luke as her father.
Feyre loved the prospect of having an actual family.

| After having dealt with the trespasser, Luke had noticed Feyre walk over towards Seven, words being exchanged between the two. Luke hoped there wouldn't be any ill will between his mate and his daughter, as he loved them both dearly. But from the smiles that appeared on their faces, he could tell that they were getting along. Cranberry eyes looked across the clearing as he caught sight of a large white figure looming about, that being of his newly appointed Beta. Zero had an outburst not too long before Luke had encountered the rogue, so it seemed as if there was something on the male's mind. Or maybe it was the fact that Luke could tell Yoki had given the large mass of white a soft spot to be afraid of. Luke couldn't blame Zero exactly; he had once felt conflicted over the fact that he had fallen in love with Seven. The female was something unexpected, but he loved her all the same, especially after what Fire had done to him. But he knew that deep down, he was going to be able to stay with Seven, and she wouldn't run away from him like his previous coward of a mate had.
Walking towards the white brute, Luke made sure to clear his throat, signaling to the white male that he was approaching. "I see you've regained a little of your composure," The Alpha states, looking towards the other brute with a small nod of his head. "Do you know where Yoki disappeared too?" He asked, looking towards the male, questioning his friend. He hoped that Zero wasn't too upset with the fact that Luke had smacked him, or that he had interrupted. His pack needed to be orderly, and he hoped Zero knew that.
Many of the wolves in the clearing now were probably judging Luke's decision as poor in choosing the white brute to be his beta, but Luke saw something in Zero that he couldn't see the other males that were currently residing within his pack. Zero had a fire in him that told Luke he was the right choice. Sure, Luke would have considering someone like Zachariah for the position as well, the male even popped into his head a couple times when choosing. But he knew that the male would have better use in other positions of the pack. He would be better as the Paladin or General. Zero had a dominance that was slightly more prominent than anyone else's, and he seemed to be - although narcissistic in his own way - someone who held potential into shaping up and into the Beta position that Luke had given him.

Aedion "Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire."
The young male gave his sister a reassuring smile as she made her approach, Aedion being happy due to Lysandra's seemingly calm attitude after being left alone for a while. He absolutely hated the thought of his precious younger sister being distressed, especially when there was a way for him to settle her with his mere presence. "Hey, Aedion. How's you?" The youngling asked with an uplifting tone, her chirpy voice drifting through the air and melding with the whistling birds that flew overhead. Aedion always managed to find peace within Lysandra's merry tunes.
"I'm doing fine. Are you doing okay through all this madness?" He asked in return, referring to the newly announced Alphess and Beta, as well as the spat that seemed to have occurred between Sasha and Zero; he hoped that the two Betas would eventually get along as he hated the thought of unnecessary conflict. Aedion eventually shifted his focus to watch as Ly began nibbling at the chunk of meat he had been able to provide, glad that she was able to get her fair-share of nutrients. "Thanks, Aedion. You should eat some, too, it seems relatively fresh. Or you've eaten already?"
With Lysandra's question in mind, he looked to the juicy chunk of venison while his stomach growled in what seemed like damnation. Salmon tongue flickered over his jowls as he realised just how hungry he was. Giving into temptation, Aedion dipped his head towards to food, digging in and picking at the tougher parts of the meat while leaving the softer and juicer parts for his sister, giving her a grateful brush of his tail against her bodice for reminding him that eating was something that a pup his age had to do.

Newt ; Omega of Noctis "If all these months have taught me anything, it's how to ignore the eyes. How to pretend they don't hurt."
"You're very nice too, Wren.". Newt flicked his ears in agreement, looking at the rather fluffy female, his eyes lazily drifting around her caramel, and oak hued muzzle. She was quite nice, welcoming him in, and offering whatever sense of security he was currently stuck it. He looked away from the both of them, standing, padding forward, his cranium twisted as he looked at the opening of camp, his nose twitching as he watched whatever was sulking towards camp grow closer. Behind him, Wren distracted his little watch, causing him to turn around."And I'm sure you'll grow into it too, Newt. No matter how long it takes." He offered a weak smile, his head tilting to the side in some form of doubt. He was planning on replying, but someone else had approached the little group, a young male, who apparently recognized Hoshi. Perhaps from the borders? He blinked, looking from Hoshi to the male a couple times, before finally listening to what he was saying.
"Hi, Hoshi, Wren, and... who's this?" Newt forced back a shiver, unease swirling around him like the wind, attempting to push him away from the conversation, away from the pack. Looking to Wren, he saw she was about to speak, and for him he hoped not. Brushing her ever-so-slightly with the tip of his tail, the sand hued lupine picked his head up slightly, his eyes lingering between where Matyr's own eyes settled.
"I'm Newt.." He murmured, bringing his gaze away at the sound of pawsteps, welcoming the opportunity to turn around. It was simply Zero, the alabaster spitfire from the borders, who was newly announced Beta. Newt's expression was blank, his head drooping to the side as he watched the brute slink next to the Alpha, bringing Newt a chuckle of amusement at his sulking. "And you are..?" He distractedly asked Maytr, his voice numb, and quiet.
Hoshi's inquiry brought Newt to quickly regain his usual composure, looking at her with innocent eyes. "B-Beta Zero." He said, almost fumbling on the odd name. Though, he was no stranger to unusual names. "He g-got in a little s-spat with Beta S-Sasha, over the n-newly announced Delta Y..oki." He shrugged, attempting to push away whatever bits of his stammer he could manage. "It seemed r-rather trivial, in a-all honesty."

Aili's fur ruffled as she laid still on the ground, her eyes calmly and subtly surveying the camp as life went on. She wasn't very good at interactions, apparently. Her honey-golden eyes were laden thick with a sort of peaceful disposition, as viscous seeming as honey, as if one could imagine the color slowly seeping out of her eyes like a thick liquid such as sweet honey is. She was almost yearning to be given something to do, as she had never really had friends here (well, Wren, but she had just screwed that up) and wasn't hungry or thirsty enough to be bothered with going to obtain some food or drink some water. So, with nothing to do or say and no one to be with, she just thought. She imagined herself as a scout. If she was lucky, she'd run into an aggressive wolf she could fight at a border, as that was the closest she would get to hunting in her new position. Being a scout wasn't so bad, she supposed, and she could still hunt in her free time. She could see herself, prowling the border, protecting the pack from outside wolves and such, standing on a hill and looking out over the lands. This image does not last long, and is replaced with an image of what she desires to be a part of. She is stalking through the forest, through the grasses of an open plain, companions that she could never have now at her side. She can see herself sprinting after a deer and taking it down, and briefly allows herself a selfish moment of imagining herself impressing the others with her knowledge of anatomy and which points to target on the body. This is the image she wants to be in, and though it is hard, Aili displaces it from her mind, accepting the fact that she is a scout and it is not that bad. If her skills as a scout would better assist her to the pack, then she would be a scout and use her skills to the best of her abilities. A little sigh escapes Aili's muzzle, a small breeze ruffling through the fur along her back and sides, the golds and reds and creams creating an ocean that was rolling with the tide. Pack life bustled on around her, but she felt frozen in time, waiting for something to happen.
OOC: Sorry! Aili doesn't really have anything to do, but I thought I'd post a little bleh short post just to show some activity.)

| There was something new about the way the young female moved. Her ears sat to the sides, angled down yet forwards, tail hanging low, though bent upwards towards the end, and stride long and even as she propelled herself closer to what the pack called their Commons. From her position, multiple scents flooded her flaring leathery nasals, various wolves of both familiarity and unfamiliarity were scattered across her sights. It was a situation that sent a shrilled caution tingle down her spine, though the feeling was ignored as the metallic taste of copper danced across her tongue.
Home. The single word slid through her mind as she avoided looking towards any particular wolf, who was and wasn't present remained a minuscule priority as she made a B-line towards her small cavern. The lifeless hare merely hung from her lax grip, limbs swaying, and heart beatless. To Yoki, this was a prideful moment, a clump of prey that signified her success in what she'd taken up as quiet time alone.
As a small part of her mind lingered on the notion of seeking Zero's whereabouts, be it near or far, the young oaken creature merely let the sensation slide off of rolling shoulders. He would be fine. He would come to her if he chose to do so. Though she held a favoured choice in her mind as she continued for her small private hole.
Hopefully, she would make it there uninterrupted, though if one chose to step in her path or call her aside, she would recoil into a somewhat crouched and hunched position. Never once would she drop her prize, not unless asked by those of higher ranking. Here she would wait, listening for what was to be said or declared by whomever strode into her path. If she were to not be halted, she would graciously slide within the shadows of her previously conflict surrounded den. The silence was a blanket of warmth to her as she would curl up and begin picking at the fattened thigh of hares rear leg.

"Its nice to meet you Ater, what a lovely name. It suits you very well." Ater smiled gently, regaining an acceptable composure. Clearing her throat in slight embarrassment, the unranked bitch twisted her head to smooth out her ruffled smoke hued fur, pressing it back down - though it really wasn't to dramatic. Shuffling her paws, she voiced her thanks to Conrad, appreciating the kind gesture from the male. His lips curved up into a grin, looking down at her giddily. Ater returned the look of happiness, despite still being shattered within. The female didn't want to seem down still, and make the male upset over the fact that he couldn't console her. Because, in reality, no one could. Plus, he wouldn't have stayed if she hadn't calmed down. He would have saw her for what she really was. Broken. Unfixable. Sighing, she looked back at Conrad, her ears twitching as he started to speak again."If you'd like to, would you honor me with your presence on a walk?"
Ater smiled, watching him rise to his feet. "Sure." Her response against his was quite casual, whereas his was very formal. Still, she pushed herself to her paws, looking at him to start walking. When he proceeded to do so, if he did, she would walk beside him, about a tail-length away from his right side. Her stride was much more powerful then she felt, her tail hanging low, but flicking behind her as muscles rippled beneath her thick pelt. "So, Conrad," She glanced at him with pale colored eyes ."How do you like Noctis?" She inquired, knowing well that he wasn't new, and in fact, she wasn't quite new either. She had joined along side the Beta. The thought made the lupine want to gag, the spitfire of a wolf was already such a high rank, while she was nothing. Suitable for a wolf like her.

Warrior Ozmond "Honesty is the best quality"
Ozmond had been lost in thought, thinking back to what brought him here to Noctis, how much the wolves around him began to mean something. The feelings he had tied with this pack extended well beyond friends, they were all family to him. He would put his life on the line for everyone single one of them. As was his duty as a warrior. His eyes had fallen onto the exchanges between higher ups, how Luke spoke with Zero, the body language between Seven and Feyre, and even the interactions between Filitarn and his sons.
Soft padsteps echoed by the crunch of grass had Oz turning his head to find one of the newer members positioned before him. Her body language screamed awkward and an attempt at submission which had Oz turning the corner of lips up to appear more friendly. Her coloration seemed to suit the terrain very well, she could easily meld into shadows during anytime of day.
“The names Vera. What’s yours?” the bluntness from her voice had him laughing slightly. Compared to her earlier body submission her voice, and eyes, did not match the sound that came from her mouth. "Excuse me, I just find your voice and actions earlier quite opposite, it's very," he paused his head tilting as he thought of a word. "Refreshing."
"I'm Ozmond," he stated after a moment. As she lay comfortably beside him, he let his gaze roam over her before his grey orbs met with her fierce orange ones. "What do you like to do for fun?" he asked, his ears flickering forward to listen to her intently. His body had shifted some so that he was more angled at her so that he would not have to crane or tilt his head towards her, and so he could show her his interest.

| It was a small clearing of the throat to his side that snapped Zero out of a trance like state. His red wine orbs fixated on the small den in which Yoki had hidden herself what felt like hours ago - but now empty. Said rouge eyes flickered to the source of the voice, it was none other than his best friend, and his Alpha, Luke. Zero inhaled quietly, have expecting to be told off or demoted of his title. Yet he did neither, "I see you've regained a little of your composure," he stated with a small nod towards the alabaster giant. "Do you know where Yoki disappeared too?" he inquired.
Zero was a little inwardly shocked at how calm the Alpha was being towards him - as if Zero had not literally lashed out at his other Beta and only Delta. "Composure..." he grunted with a small smirk as he lowered his head towards the ground. "Not sure if I had much of that in the first place Lukey," he said with a dry, almost sad laugh. "No I don't know where the little runt-" he stopped for a second to backtrack. "Where.. she went off to." He inwardly wanted to slam his head against a tree, even in this sad state of self pity, he was verbally violent. Perhaps it was his own way of affection, a thin line between showing he cared and showing someone their place.
His hard gaze drifted to the Alpha's pack until they settled on a pair of green staring straight back at him. Hackles raised a little as he glared until she looked away. Settling on another part of the pack, eyes narrowed as an unranked - Zero had no idea of her name, and an omega that Zero despised - Conrad, getting rather friendly. A small, amused "Tch" left his throat. The female seemed so much more different from when she lamely stood up to him at the border. She was once rather stubborn, now turned into a constant self-pitier. What an odd change of the wind. As for Conrad, well that female he liked left not too long ago. A sort of grin flickered upon Zero's face before falling into his stoic one. "That was fast." he mumbled to Luke, unsure of where the Alpha stood with low-rank mating. Of course the two hadn't shown any real signs of romantic interest, but hey - it wasn't out of character for the alabaster Beta to make accusations and presumptions.
It wasn't long before a familiar scent wafted through the air. A scent Zero had grown soft to, a scent that immediately had his eyes flickering to the source. Yoki. In came the being that set his mind and heart into a fluster, except this time her jaws clenched around a limp rabbit. For a moment, the Beta's blood eyes widened slightly as he stared at the small female with her well earned trophy. A sudden sense of pride suddenly pummeled through the alabaster giant, she caught it all by herself. A proud smile dusted his once emotionless face as he watched her return to her den, he made a mental note that when the pack needed to again, he'd have to pay special attention to Yoki hunting. Never in his life had he had to face this newfound feeling, a swell of appreciation in his chest as she did a job well done.
Dropping his smile as easily as it came, he'd wait a long moment before he turned to Luke. "Excuse me." he said with small nod - no doubt the Alpha would catch on to what Zero felt like needed to be done. Luke was probably more clued up then the poor ivory bastered himself. With that, the muscular form slowly and silently stalked over to the den, each step filled with slight anticipation and exhilaration. Perhaps a form of anxiousness too as he became closer to the smaller.
As he stood outside the small den he let out an inaudible deep breath he didn't know he was holding before awkwardly clearing his throat. "Hey... Yoki." He'd wait for any sort of reaction as he cast a glance to Luke and the pack before setting his ruby orbs on her own diamond ones. "Can I.." he coughed quietly, another way of awkwardly clearing his throat again. "Can we," he corrected himself "go talk for a moment... Over there?" he said with a small nudge of head to the side, it was away from the pack yet still in the commons. A sense of privacy in the territory of prying eyes and ears. The male wasn't very comfortable as it is let alone with the lights of everyone listening to the supposed Big Bad Beta be reduced to nothing but nerves and awkwardness. | |

Wren was glad that Newt had notified her that he wanted to speak. The bubbly youngster would've spoiled it completely if he hadn't. At Hoshi's inquiry, the blanketed she-wolf spun, her gaze looking in the same general direction as Hoshi's was. The giant alabaster frame that filled her vision made her spin back to the conversation rapidly. She didn't like the newest Beta much; he had seemed rude and combative when he had first arrived at Noctis. She had tried to talk to him, only once however. as he growled viciously; a clear warning to stay away. Wren didn't know quite why Luke had placed the brute as his second Beta, or Yoki as his Delta for that matter, but she didn't really have to know, now did she? She was only young, and quite frankly, as long as everything was running smoothly, she had no problem who was in high ranking positions. The amber eyed she-wolf nodded absent-mindedly at Newt's explanation of Zero. That incident was still fresh in her mind, and flicking her gaze back once more, she caught the sight of the seeming source of the conflict dashing across the commons. In the newly appointed Delta's jaws hung a limp hare that swung haphazardly as she ran. In all honesty, Wren wasn't curious of why she had the hare, but was just glad to see that everyone involved with the conflict had calmed down, and Noctis was restored to it's regular hum. "Don't try talking to him though, he growled at me the first and last time I did!" Wren joked to Hoshi in reference to Newt's explanation. It was a solid piece of advice that Wren was trying to give to the russet healer. From the short time that she had known Hoshi, she seemed to be a little... out of it at times. Interacting with Zero, especially at this point and time, would not be good. But then again, she had only met him when he had first joined Noctis, and who knows, he may have changed! The young she wolf made a note to try to talk to Zero sometime in the future. Addressed: Salutary Hoshi @newt @maytr Mentioned: @zero @yoki

The vague, barely visible, tiny smile forced upon her face for the mere purpose of being friendly was beginning to disappear beyond reach. The males laugh and genuine smile clearly did not mirror the frown Vera obtained as she failed to understand the reason for his uncalled for chuckle. Glowing eyes staring eerily towards him as she expected an explanation. Receiving one in mere moments. "Excuse me, I just find your voice and actions earlier quite opposite, it's very... Refreshing." “Refreshing?” She questioned; pronouncing the word carefully, delicately testing it on her sharp tongue. A moment of awe phasing through her as she dared to understand what had she done right in this pathetic and utterly average life of hers to deserve such a strange yet intriguing word. A word never before seen to befall upon her. Weird. She thought. Then again, what went on in her head would not be allowed to translate itself into her actions. A composed and careless expression bearing down on her face while hearing his next words. "I'm Ozmond," – "What do you like to do for fun?" There it was again, a moment of surprise lacing itself into her once blank appearance. It caused her to actually have to think, normally answering questions easily with sarcastic wit. But for once, she actually had to remember the last she had so called ‘fun’. Now she was beginning to question the capabilities of the male, who seemingly was able to shut her sardonic yap with a single question. Hmm… would you call killing heartless, rabid animal’s fun?
No no no… too strange
How about spars for the title of best warrior… that was fun… wasn’t it?
No no no… too barbaric
The frustration was beginning to seep on to her face, brows narrowing as she failed to answer the simplest of questions. Vera’s head titled back towards the sky, before finally coming fourth with an answer she found fitting. “When the seasons would bring rain, and the ground became mud. Me and brothers, would go mud sliding down the hill slide.” Her raspy tone etched out her parted lips, top and bottom, slowly forming a smirk. Though indeed she had only had one brother, she counted all her litter mates as her siblings for they had accepted her and Kody as one of their own. Plus, she was the only girl who enjoyed mud sliding. “Whoever reached the bottom first, won. With room to of course sabotage your opponents in any way possible.” The memory caused a rusty chuckle to leave her jaws. “What about you?” She inquired

The sun colored wolf looked at Ater with a smile as she voiced her thanks. He watched her smooth out her rough fur by twisting her head and although she returned a look of happiness to him he could still sense something was a little off about it, or perhaps he was imagining it. After Conrad asked her to join him on a walk, her response was "sure" and Conrad was delighted. The orange, sun flower of a wolf smiled and turned around into a walk before shooting a quick glance to Ater who was following him about a tail length away on his best side or in other words his right side.
"So Conrad" Ater glanced at him with her pale eyes and Conrad turned his head to his right for a moment showing only one of his heterochromia eyes, his blood red right eye. "How do you like Noctis?" She questioned him and Conrad thought for a moment. "Well its much better than most packs that I remember encountering. Unlike Noctis they were fierce to each other, here in Noctis we are a big family. Everyone looks out for each other, even though sometimes there may be fights its because of stress and tension. In the end we all make up after all, in fact I love and care for everyone here, and I want to do everything I can to protect them. Even if-" he stopped himself as he realized he almost revealed that he was a low rank. In truth he was almost the same as Ater, but he feared she might laugh at him.
Quickly he changed the subject, "I'm sorry I just realized I was rambling on and on. What do you think of Noctis so far Ater?" He asked her and slowed his pace so they were walking neck to neck, side by side. He didn't want to seem rude or anything by walking in front of a lady like some male wolveswould do. Instead he wanted to be polite and be more of an escort. "Ive only been here a few months, but I really think you're going to like it here." He spoke to Ater with a gentle smile and bumped into her shoulder softly but playfully.

| Luke looked towards his Beta as the other started speaking. Giving a small smirk, he watched as his Beta excused himself and then moved towards Yoki, who had appeared in the commons not too long ago, he gave a small smile as he looked towards his Beta. He wouldn't interrupt. Especially considering he knew that Zero would need to talk to her. It was cute how his Beta seemed so malevolent towards everyone else but the small she-wolf, himself and Seven. He wasn't sure why Zero was like that, especially after having spent so much time with the pack over the previous months. He hoped that he would warm up a little to the others around.
His attention swiveled slightly as he looked towards the other wolves that were around the commons. It seemed that Wren, Hoshi and Newt were getting along together. That was good, especially considering Hoshi seemed really shy. Wren was a good wolf, especially for new wolves. She was friendly, and she seemed to love to know her new pack mates. He was thinking that maybe she would deserve something better once everyone settled into their new ranks. Maybe she could work alongside Empyrean, or maybe something else. Who knew. He would have to test and see if she could prove to actually be worthy of a higher rank, but he felt that she was more than ready for something like that. Newt, one of the new wolves seemed rather courageous, but also had something a little off about him, like he was pulling back and nervous about what was going on around him. Luke hoped that all were settling in well, especially the new ones that were conversing.
Surveying the commons, he noticed that two wolves were leaving it seemed. He was a little annoyed with this, considering they were supposed to be eating and meeting the new wolves, but these two were deciding to go off on their own. Trotting towards where they were walking, he listened to what they were saying, his ears perking at what each wolf said. It was simple chatter, but he was still slightly annoyed with the fact they just wandered off. "As an Omega Conrad, you should know that you shouldn't be wandering off with she-wolves on your own, especially when there is a feast in the commons," Luke stated, interrupting their conversation. He would wait patiently for one of them to speak in terms of him addressing them. He knew the other one; Ater. She hadn't been around much, so he wouldn't want to give her a rank that she was above. He wanted to see what her capabilities were. And right now, he was looking down on the fact that Conrad had taken to the idea that he was allowed to just walk out of the commons when there were new wolves he could be talking too and getting to know.

Ater didn't move off track, neither closer, nor farther from the berry-colored brute's side as they approached the exit. Little did she know of his rank, and Ater had assumed he was probably a Warrior, or even Paladin. Though she doubted the latter. Even if-" The female blinked, listening to his question. In fact, she was hardly bothered by his ramble, in fact, she let out a small chuckle, giving him a worrisome eye at the ending. It seemed as if Conrad seemed reluctant to entrust her with something, but, she reluctantly shrugged it off. Moving in a ripple of toned muscles, and a slightly ruffled coat, pale eyes twitched to the side as a small flash of brown fur hit her peripheral vision. Luke's fur. Clearing her throat awkwardly, she brought her attention back to Weller as he spoke again, inquiring her about how she felt about the - rather dramatic - pack. Though she was planning on replying, a deafening voice stopped her in her tracks. Immediately, her posture lowered, her eyeline hitting the paw's of her superior. Curling her spine up, her ears laid flat back, and her head tilting to avoid looking at her Alpha all-together, Ater's paws shuffled. But, his words brought her head shooting up, her eyes flicking to Conrad, recoiling away. "As an Omega Conrad, you should know that you shouldn't be wandering off with she-wolves on your own, especially when there is a feast in the commons," Her gaze became emotionless, besides a speck of annoyance floating around her plainly colored depths. Vile raised in her throat, the tip of her tail now curling forwards as she stepped away from the large wolf. Slowly, Ater let her body face the Alpha, calming slightly. "Alpha," She made sure that her 'companion' didn't speak before her, and muddle with her very dicey place in the pack. "I apologize, I was unaware of Omega Conrad's restrictions." His name was spat out like it was something poisonous, her gaze flicking to his quickly. Ater was taken aback, her faith in the sun-colored wolf fading to quick for her pleasure. She dipped her head solemnly, her ears bending shamefully. "I should have been more careful." The bitch admitted her fault, looking to Luke for permission to join the feast, and leave 'Sir Conrad Weller' behind, and instead find someone more suitable to converse with. The grey hued female reeked with guilt, her gut wrenching in shame that she had made such a foolish decision. Especially after her little 'Episode', the vile taste returned. She was the fool here. Casting a quick glance around, her eyes found a rather pretty female sitting alone, she seemed rather approachable, and maybe a tad bitter. It would be an apt decision if Ater decided to approach, once the Alpha was done. Yes, she would. The wolf had been talking to the two awkward ones, and Wren not to long ago. Questioning internally, the fluffy bitch wondered what had happened for her to leave them.
