S C O U T C E C I L I A O F L U B R U S C A
Late night outings had slowly become a habit for the young adult. She gained a rank and a den of her own, which meant a little more freedom from her father. Although she never had a previous issue with her father's watchful gaze, she does notice a significant difference. No longer being woken up by somebody else, or somebody to set a curfew.
Well that was half true. With the news that the Ferus male brought all those months prior they weren't allowed to stay out too late. While Cecilia was a good girl, she did break this rule on occasion. For example, last night she had spent the first half of the night in the hunting grounds. Mostly scouting for possible herds, as they were sleeping in groups at night. Last night she had found a small white-tail deer herd in the northern area of the hunting grounds. She would need to pass along this info to Parker sooner rather than later.
Still sleeping of pleasant things, her mind half awake, she barely recognized a presence in her den. When a wet boop hit her nose she recoiled in slight shock. Criss-crossed eyes flashing open in surprise. There stood her father, a devious grin on his face. Of course he knew how she would react.
Rolling onto her back, letting out a tired groan. "Its so early," she grumbled as he left, surely causing him to laugh. Reaching her legs up into a large stretch, her claws just barely miss the ceiling. Her hole was roomy for her size, but small enough to still feel safe. Rolling on her stomach, she pushed herself onto her feet. As she wiggled herself out of the den, she used the lip of the entrance to scratch an itchy spot at the base of her tail. Wriggling her butt for a moment until she was satisfied.
Cecilia at a year old was not quite as lady-like as some might have hoped. Although, she carried an ettiquete and grace to her movements, she had habits that were quite... disgraceful. Such as the open display of pleasing a butt itch. Swiping a salmon tongue she made her way over to Parker.
"Good Morning," she spoke to her superior with a quiet voice. "I spotted a white-tail deer herd yesterday in the northern section of the hunting grounds," she informed. She was gonna wait to see his response but a marbled omega blocked her view as she practically pounced on him.
A little awkward around open displays of affection she backed away with a nervous chuckle. "I'll talk to you later," she said before turning to catch up to her father. Bumping into his side playfully, she looked to him to see if he would have anything to add to her list, or if she would be left in Hydran's good care today.

Maddox"Maybe our future's so bright it fucking burns like a Wildfire." Maddox’s enthusiasm had not gone unnoticed by most, his want to train with Snow Rose had been recognized as he was made her apprentice. He was happy to be working underneath her, and to be working with Fenrir. He had not interacted much with the older wolf until starting his training as a Salutary, and he wanted to be good friends with him. After all, they would be working close together until either decided to retire. As he was lying in his den, he was sleeping happily, some herbs scattered here and there that he had taken from Rosie’s piles to memorize the smell of, and to work on identifying them by color and what their healing abilities were. Another smell came from outside of his den, and he perked up, hearing his nickname that most called him. Stirring, he poked his head out, seeing that it was his father who was calling for him to wake up. Excitedly getting up, the male wasted no time in chasing after his father, aiming to bowl into him. But instead of doing so, he went crashing forth in Cecilia’s direction, flipping and tripping. Rolling to a stop, he wasn’t sure if he had knocked into his sister or not, but he quickly got up, shaking out his pelt and heading in Snow’s direction, seeing that the she-wolf was awake.
Coming up next to her, Maddox rolled onto his back next to her, paws up in the air and tail wagging as he looked over at her with a tongue lolled out. “Good morning Rosie!” He said, looking to her. He would always call her that, no matter how old he would get. He still maintained his puppish behavior, mostly because he had yet to grow out of it. His energy could not be tamed, and he was ready to take on the world with that attitude. “What are we doing today? Are we gonna learn more stuff? I want to show you how much I worked on memorizing herbs!” He said. “Of course, we could always just take a stroll through the territory. That sounds like a bunch of fun as well!” With Maddox’s boundless energy already present, it was very apparent that Snow would have her paws full today.

L Y S I CBeta of Lubrusca Lysic had grown quite a bit, and with that, came more responsibility. After the hunt, Lysic had taken to study underneath Mochi and Ventus, soon becoming the Beta of the pack with his mother’s offering. He gladly accepted, although he was still a little young for the position, Lysic had taken quickly to the position, and with it he had made a new friend. Baron, one of the wolves that had come to them before, was now the Delta of the pack, and someone that Lysic talked to frequently, and often trained alongside. The male was nice, and it seemed that something was developing between him and Devika. This was only confirmed more when Lysic had seen the two of them together more often than not. He smiled at the thought, but Lysic wasn’t one to judge. He had developed a little crush of his own after all. Devika worked with Basil quite often, and it seemed that the four were frequently together. Lysic and Baron training together, while offering to help Devika with anything she needed hunting wise. Basil had become a she-wolf that Lysic admired, and wanted to get to know more than he already did. But alas, he didn’t know if she even returned the feelings, or simply just thought of him as a friend.
He hoped that it wasn’t true, that maybe there was something there, but he would just have to wait and see. Rising from his den, he looked out into the clearing, his one good eye scanning over the wolves that were already awake. Seeing Baron and Devika so close together, he gave a smirk. Not able to concentrate on them for more than a moment, the crashing figure of Maddox caught his attention as he went crashing towards Dante, quickly got up and went over to Snow Rose. He still hadn’t lost the boundless energy that most wish they could have. Bringing himself out of his den once he was sure it was safe to do so and not get bowled into, he looked over to Mochi and Ventus, who were talking amongst themselves and decided against interrupting. Instead, he went over to Baron and Devika, a smirk planted on his face. “Okay lovebirds, its time to get some work done,” He jeers, amber eye looking from each of them as he gave a small wag of his tail. “What do you guys think about a hunt this morning?” He spoke. “Get our blood pumping and then take a stroll on the borders?” He asked. He liked spending time with them, and he hoped they would accept, and who knew, maybe they would invite Basil along. Because Lysic was too chicken to do so.

As his children rose, he found himself faced with little choice but to face the obvious facts: that, as painful as it was, his children had now outgrown him. They had roles, more to their lives than the simple enjoyment family embodied. Ahead lay paths wholly, purely their own, futures he would have no part of forging. The lives that he guarded over, cared for and loved with every wisp of passion he could’ve ever had to offer were now independent and individual. A natural part of parenthood that every father would inevitably have to accept, but nonetheless painful in of itself. One by one, each of them rose and flocked to their day to day activities without so much a second thought. A soft, pained sigh passed his jaws as he slipped away, eyeing Ventus and Mochi carefully. They were gently whispering, exchanging a tender, affectionate moment between the two of them. They’d likely no pressing, urgent plans ahead, leaving him some extra time to reflect and relax by the beautifully precious bay where he had found his first love. Exit to: Forest River Sitka

Sitka woke in her den, mint eyes fluttering open as her cranium turned to the entrance, already hearing the thudding paws of those outside. It was time to wake up, that much she was sure about. The time that she had spent in Lubrusca had been splendid to say the least. She was able to flourish as a Guardian of the pups before they became of age. She had personally become rather close with Dante’s children, almost considering them her own. She had helped them grow, and already they were a year old, taking on their positions in the pack splendidly well. With her position now not needed for the time being, she had been helping out with hunting and scouting for the most part. She had been working with Dante quite a bit, getting to know the male that was the father to the children she so adored. And she couldn’t say that she didn’t adore him as well. But the adoration she held for him was much different than the one she held for his children.
Seeing that Maddox was with Snow Rose, and the others were slowly waking up and coming out of their dens as well, she looked for the oaken General, only to see him disappearing from the commons rather quickly. Looking to Mochi and Ventus, she decided against ruining the moment they were sharing together, and took to giving Lysic a look to let him know that she would be leaving the Common Grounds. The Alphess’ child was now the Beta of the pack, and a wolf that she could go to when Ventus or Mochi were much too busy. After she confirmed with him that she was leaving, she headed towards where the General had disappeared to, hoping that she would catch up with him.

Black fur shined as the morning dew on the leaves fell, landing on her coat. She had not been up for long, just long enough to go out to stretch her legs on a small walk around the common grounds. The she-wolf was now a year old, and considered a full member of the pack, no longer a pup who needed babysitting, so she always made sure to take full advantage of it whenever she could. Hazel eyes shifted with caution but her relaxed posture never gave her away. She had become increasingly cautious of those around her, something she had gotten from her mother, just as she had gotten her size, but she always made sure to hide the mistrust deep underneath a layer of cheerfulness. Basil stopped as she entered the common grounds, eyes watching as everyone began getting together and arranging plans for the day ahead. Her eyes wandered over everyone, Mochi, Ventus, Dante, Snow Rose, Devika and Baron, who were of course together, Basil couldn’t hide the smile that came across her muzzle at the thought of them together long term. Then Lysic wandered over, all fiery orange in both pelt and right eye, and of course ready to get a start on the day, as he always was. The small, black female found it hard to not like him, she didn’t know why though, it had always taken her a bit to like other wolves, unless they were of course her siblings or father. However, Lysic had just waltzed right on in with his unending calm and brought her into the fold of the small group made up of her, Baron, Devika, and Lysic. The small female slowly made her way towards him, bony shoulders rippling underneath her pelt as she stepped. “Okay lovebirds, it’s time to get some work done,” Lysic joked, his singular amber eye looking from Baron to Devika as he gave a small wag of his tail. “What do you guys think about a hunt this morning?” The natural born leader continued, “Get our blood pumping and then take a stroll on the borders?” Lysic didn’t outright mention her, why should he, the fiery male didn’t even know she was not only a few feet away, so Basil quickly made herself known. “Hey Devika, Baron. And good morning to you Lysic.” Her own tail gave a bit of a wag upon saying his name but she didn’t focus only on him, she had two other friends to think about as well. Her eyes softened as she questioned the three, “Mind if I come along? I would love to get some work in, don’t want to get rusty.” She rambled a bit at the end, she couldn’t help it, her insecurities wouldn’t allow her to not worry about what they thought, but she yearned to be a natural socialite so she would force herself to inquire to her friends, whether she liked it or not. “Our home is back.” A lovelier phrase couldn’t have passed Ven’s lips. A year ago, it had seemed near impossible. All they’d had their disposal was a river bed, a gaggle of newborn pups, and a host of hastily filled superior ranks, but they’d managed, and now that the worst was over, they could enjoy reaping the fruits of their hard labor. Lysic, as Beta, automatically tended to responsibilities that the pair of them often handled, providing a pleasant break. They’d interfered naturally when needed, but for now, they were quite content with the way he was handling things. Already, he appeared to be gathering wolves for a hunt. Dante’s pups reported to their superiors without prompting, allowing him to invest his full unwavering focus on the tasks he wanted to accomplish. Dante himself, however, appeared to have vanished, leaving his daughter Cecilia in limbo as to what her tasks for the day consisted of. Mochi smiled at Ventus’s compliment before cocking his head towards the pup for address. “Cecilia,” He called out. “Go ahead and accompany Lysic for this morning’s hunt. Take your brother along if you’d like.” With that handled, his focus naturally flitted back to his lover. They’d a whole day’s worth of prospects ahead of them. “Well then Ventus,” He began, his voice taking on a lighthearted chipperness. “What would you like to do today? Seems that our beta has everything under control. I wonder who picked him? Seems like a genius investment to me.” He teased gently. “We’ve the whole wide world ahead of us.” Tagged: Alphess Ventus Scout Cecilia

Black meshed with white as Baron and Devika sat close together through the morning. It was not long after the commons seemed to wake up that the Delta felt a pair of eyes linger on him, swiveling a large black cranium he spotted Lysic, the new Beta peering out of his Den before spotting Maddox on a war path, attempting to crash into Mochi with no success, instead he almost took out his sister Cecilia, narrowly missing and instead going off to find Snow Rose.
Once it seemed he was in the clear, Lysic made his way out of his den and over toward he and the hunter pressed against him. A smirk played on the Beta's features, making Baron's ears press against his head, he understood why this was humerous to Lysic but he couldn't help but feel a little bit defensive. After all, Devika had wiggled her way beneath the hard shell he wore on his exterior and into his soft side, which he would never admit to having. "Ok lovebirds, time to get some work done." he heard him say, amber eyes focused on the Beta as he looked from the black male to the white female, tail wagging ever so slightly. "What do you guys think of a hunt this morning? get our blood flowing then go for a stroll on the borders?" The suggestion was a good one, perking Baron's large ebony ears up immediately and sending his tail into a soft wag. A somewhat devious idea then presented itself in the Delta's head, since Lysic wanted to tease he and Devika, he would pay him back. Sure! but only if we invite Basil. Wouldn't want you being a third wheel or anything. the male found himself thinking, his jaws parting to speak before Basil walked over as if on queue, greeting her friends with a fond hello then asking if she may join on their little outing. Perfect. "Of course you can tag along Basil, I wouldn't want Lysic to feel like a third wheel." The large black male smirked, looking from Basil to Lysic, then he stood up and stretched, giving a soft yawn.

Light brown fur moved along the wind, as Hydran walked through the commons of Lubruscan territory. The sun shining bright in the blue sky of the pack, while the vegetation around all of the flourished. It was clear, it was obvious, spring had come to their land once more, weather differing clearly from mere weeks ago. The now yearling and a half had finally achieved the rank of Sentinel, and while he was proud and happy about the accomplishment, well, he had absolutely no clue what to start doing.
"I know what being a Sentinel means, but where do I even start?" he asked to himself, cursing his own luck quietly, his pride not allowing any cry for help to anybody. This had to be a problem to solve on his own accords, by his own means. Scanning the grounds, the male looked for the scouts whom were supposedly under his command. Spotting Cecilia, Hydran considered walking towards the female, yet, when his mind was already made up on it, a certain Hunter Superior was present. Parker's presence made him go against his initial decision. They knew each other quite well, the older wolf would certainly and quickly figure out he was clueless on this new duty. Changing the direction of his glance as quickly as possible, the Sentinel kept on his quest for the other scout present. Milo, was also present at the common's, sporting his different shades of browns and his newfound stature. Seeing his current solitude and his young age, Hydran felt more than confident to close in and talk to the scout. "Morning, pal," greeted the older male, "How's the scout gig working out for you?"

A look can say a lot. The angle of the brow, the pull of the skin at the mouth. Each little muscle twitch meaning something specific. Too many movements can be confused for one emotion or another. Her experience is still limited but looking to her father she caught too many subtle emotions. Pain, suffering, grief, loneliness. Each one seemed to sing out from his face, and her own heart dipped a little. She went to move to comfort her father.
Her face hit the ground and she swung around quickly, rolling on the ground until her feet hit ground again. Springing upwards she stood up and looked at the culprit who fell into her. Maddox and his goofy grin. Rage quieted at the gentle look of her brother. A smile and a laugh left her lips, "mornin' Doxxie, good day as always?" she asked but he was already bounding off.
Turning back to her father, to see his reaction to the two of them, and she spotted his fleeting form. She moved to follow but the new comer Sitka was following after him. She hesitated, a little unsure of her place now. For a moment she was alone to herself. Looking upwards towards the mountains she paused for a moment. The peaks always stole her curiosity, her mind wondered how exactly life would be like.
“Cecilia,” Her head swiveled, eyes taking a small moment to focus on the form of her Alpha pair. “Go ahead and accompany Lysic for this morning’s hunt. Take your brother along if you’d like," she nodded her head in confirmation and began to search for her scout partner, Milo. However, she spotted Hydran talking to him. Letting her superior take her brother, she looked for the last sibling she had yet to spot, Nashca.
Finding her brother she poked her head over to him. "Wanna go on the hunt that Lysic is planning?" she asked him. Her voice was still her typical softness, but her tone was raised just the slightest to indicate her excitement of the event to come.

The sight that greeted him first was sadly not of his beloved but of one of the General's children. Cecilia's presence and report was a welcome distraction to his pining, "Good morning. I spotted a white-tail deer herd yesterday in the northern section of the hunting grounds." A smile grew onto his face almost instantly. A hunt was just was he needed on this fine morning, and the word already floated around the commons thanks to Lysic. He'd have to get over there and add himself to that party once he'd greeted Macha. After all, what kind of hunting superior wouldn't go on a hunt? Before he could put any further thought into the hunt for today, the bounding onyx frame that brought him the most joy in the world landed across his shoulders, "What's up butt-er-cu-p?" Her adorable accent brought an even bigger smile to his face. Twisting his body around so he could nuzzle her torso in return, the blond male made sure that she could see his lips as he mouthed, "My mood now that you're here! I'm thinking of heading off on the hunt with Lysic and bringing you back a delicious meal." Be barely registered Cece dismissing herself, uncomfortable with the two wolves' show of affection. With one final lick on her cheek after gently removing Macha from his shoulders, he once again mouthed the word 'hunt' with a smile before heading over to the Beta. "Mind if I join you?" the hunting superior questioned, his grey gaze sweeping over the rest of the wolves he presumed to be joining the hunt. Baron would be a good powerhouse, Lysic and Basil being good runners, and himself being more of an asset on the strength side of a hunt. Surely, they, and any others that could join them, would make a swell hunting party. Omega Macha Scout Cecilia Beta Lysic Delta Baron @basil Hunter Devika

His morning started with a pinprick of pain on his once floppy ear. A waking gift from his father as he made the rounds to wake up the rest of his siblings - at least that's what he could guess. The yearling, now a scout, stretched his jaws wide in a yawn once he exited his den. The morning was fresh, but already wolves were bustling with activity. A tawny tail whipped back and forth freely as the prospect of what a new day could have to offer. "Morning, pal," the voice of Hydran stole his attention, "How's the scout gig working out for you?" The sentinel's question was entertaining, to say the least. Milo's job was to follow Hydran's orders, so his job was going whichever way Hydran dictated it go. "Looking around the borders, scenting things, it's all part of a day's work! I'd definitely rather be napping though," the jestful scout responded, his tail still wagging, "Any plans for today? Some stump we haven't found yet or something?" He was looking forward to getting the day started. Sentinel Hydran

The nickname that his father gave him, owlet, had stuck for a full year. Not that Nascha hated it, but he wasn't a child anymore. He was a warrior! Following under his father's footsteps to a tee. He wanted to become the strongest possible warrior for Lubrusca, but it was much harder to do when Dante had only stuck around for a few moments. Luckily, his sister was on standby to occupy him. "Wanna go on the hunt that Lysic is planning?" Sending his sister a smile, he nodded enthusiastically. There was no better way to be a good member of Lubrusca than to help bring home a meal. The younger scout, Milo, turned around quickly, automatically changing his focus of attention to what Hydran had to say. The sentinel found himself taken aback by this behaviour, but heck, maybe it comes with the perks of having a high rank? Without giving it much more thought, the yellow-ish male listened to what his packmate had to say. "Looking around the borders, scenting things, it's all part of a day's work! I'd definitely rather be napping though,"
Milo said, making Hydran chuckle softly. That's a mood, honestly."Any plans for today? Some stump we haven't found yet or something?" asked the younger wolf, clearly excited, wagging his tail around place. Hydran, still with a wide smile drawn upon his face, struggled to answer quickly. "Uhhhh..." he pondered, looking around, at things to do, verbally giving himself time to respond. "We-We'll go out to the outskirts, check the place around. See if we find something or someone," he said, already pointing towards the location. "Maybe find a place to take a nap?" he asked, as another chuckle escaped his mouth. Scout Milo

"I'd love to if he'd let me," Cecilia's darling brother responded to her, her small smile turning into a large one. A swish of her tail and she bounded a few steps away, a look back as if to say whatcha waiting for? Let's go!
"Well I hope he does, Mochi did say I should join him and bring a brother along," she chuckled and when Nascha was at her side she pushed her shoulder into him playfully. Once again bounding off towards the group. Approaching the now growing group, she spotted Parker. Wonder if he already passed along the info about the white-tail deer?
"Nascha and Cecilia reporting for duty, Lysic," she announced, a playful tone ringing in her voice as she shyly joined the group. Her tail kept swishing behind her, ears forward and alert. She was ready to do some running.
