Rogue Valentino "I still remember the first day I met you"
Valentino had managed to only inflict damage onto the the male's shoulder, blood soon filling his maw. The taste was bitter and metalic, nearly making himself gag with disgust. He hated the taste of blood, and one from such a lowly individual filled him with a feeling of utter disgust. Flicking his tail high he jerked back as the other male changed targets to Val. His green eyes narrowed as his lips pulled back in a snarl.
The male with mottled fur darted away and towards the injured she-wolf. His eyes stayed focused on his opponent, however, and he broadened his chest. He watched as the males muscles tensed and charged at Val. Dodging the initial attack, he yelped when he felt teeth meet his chest. This left the top of the other's neck exposed and quickly Val sunk his teeth into the scruff.
*With a vicious shake, Val attempted to dislodge the male from his skin. If his attempt succeeded he would be missing a large chunk of fur as well as a small gash. He then attempt to toss the other away before launching attack at him. *If he succeeded in tossing the male, he would lunge for his throat once again. *If he missed his intended target he would hopefully latch onto his ear of face, or missing the blow completely.
*If his shaking did not succeed in dislodging the other from his chest, then he would start to put bite pressure onto the other's neck. Both pushing the males head down and tightening his grip. *If the the male did not let go and continued to be pushed down, Val would lift a leg and place it on his back near his shoulder blades, adding pressure. *If he let go then Val would try to shove the other to his back or sides before attempting to readjust his bite on the neck.

Macha The Deaf Pup
Macha felt nervousness hammering in her gut as she waited the giant's reaction to her accidental entry and felt her worry subside some when she watched him give her a soft smile. With a quick and nervous inhale, she returned the smile, feeling herself brighten as her worry fully disappeared. Her sweet silver-gold gaze grew joyful and she relaxed as well. This wolf definitely didn't seem like those wolves she had passed earlier, in fact quite the opposite. Macha's eyes fluttered to the russet male who had been with the giant before she had bumped in to his leg and felt a pang of embarrassment thinking that she might have stumbled in on a conversation they were sharing.
The deaf pup waited a moment, gazing at their lips for any sign that they were trying to communicate with her through words only to find they were not. Her ears pulled back slightly as her mind scrambled for something to say to them, and how to say it to them. With a wobbly sigh she looked up at the male, her mind using all it's focus on making her tongue do as she wanted. "I-I'm sorry I b-b-b-bumped in-into you." The deaf pup's heart thumped in her chest but she could feel the rhythmic beating in her head and legs. Macha was sure that she had said something wrong or had just tripped on her words so much that it was incomprehensible. Her tail swayed, showing her hope that this two males would accept her in a friendly way and wouldn't laugh or chase her off. "Life is a precious gift, so we should cherish our time here, our time together."

Mochi's smile only grew as the pups own lips twitched upwards. There was a moment of silence and Mochi gave a confused glance to the other male who had yet to offer his name. The white fluffy male internally questioned if perhaps they knew eachother, yet the curious look on the tan males face told Mochi otherwise. A wobbly sigh brought slanted brown eyes to look back at the young she-wolf before she spoke. "I-I'm sorry I b-b-b-bumped in-into you." she said, a little wobbly and Mochi cutely tilted his head to the side. Why did the kid stutter so much? Did she hit her head too hard against his head? He didn't know, yet a smile still plastered onto his face as he chuckled slightly. "It's quite alright, kind of hard to miss such a huge target." he joked, unaware of the pups hearing disorder. Instead he gestured to his size with a ruffle of his extremely fluffy fur, shaking out the pearly pelt as one of his ears became lopsided. "My name is Mochi." he beamed both towards the sandy male and the marble pup.

Originally, he'd launched his blow with bleary hopes of helping to loosen the perforating, lingering pressure at his throat. What he'd forgotten to factor in was the fact that his aggressor carried the majority of his weight on his jaws and forepaws, airily balanced at the point where piercing fangs met flesh. Oh, a desperate attempt for his freedom indeed. All it would take was the smallest, tiniest shift in pressure; a nervous, anxious spasm, a sudden, angered retaliation for those fangs to be driven to deadly, fatal depths. This, of course, he'd realized the second he'd sent the blow flying, too late to suddenly twitch that treacherous limb to a halt. His breath hitched in his throat as he felt his claws lightly catch skin. The blow had startled his tawny attacker, a tiny, fleeting twitch betraying his balance. He'd caught himself on the cusp of his neck, a sharp, angry snarl passing between parted jaws. At his mercy, Dante realized with a sinking, terrible sensation, laid his life.
And then, as suddenly as he'd attacked, he'd released, tossing his tawny neck towards the ground in search of a far more favorable battle. The black, green-eyed male had found himself suddenly with sharp, white teeth well embedded in his chest, yelping sharply in shock. At once, the dappled male darted forwards, adamant that his companion's hasty sacrifice not go to waste. Meanwhile, the brindled she-wolf had found her freedom as well, abandoned by that black, ebony bitch in favor of feistier game. Quickly - as quickly as she could, that is - she found her feet, limping towards him as swiftly as possible on three limbs. Haphazardly, she dodged the dueling forms of the two males before making it to his side, harshly prodding him with her snout. "W-what do we do?" She whispered, her tone soft, trembling. Her eyes were horrified, wide in terror as she analyzed the options before them. She knew they could run - she wanted to run - but if they did, what would become of their black, green-eyed companion against two angered, unstable wolves?
Only, before he could answer, before he could help offer the slightest input, a piercing, ill-sounding pop filled his ears. The brindled female staggered backwards, jaws stretched in a wailing, agonized cry as she lost her footing, harshly falling onto firm, dry earth. Barely, just barely, she twitched her tawny head towards her hindquarters, her chaotic, trembling cries increasing swiftly in volume as she assessed her terrible, dawning truth. All that remained of that loose, broken limb was a bleeding stump, broken off by the black male that had seemingly offered salvation from their female aggressor. Broken in one swift, fluid snap, her limb gently lay between his brutish jaws as he trotted off, terribly, wonderfully pleased with his work.
For a few brief, fleeting moments, he flashed his eyes from the dueling pair to the female bleeding out before him. The answer lay stretched loosely before him, bathed in bright crimson blood. If he wanted her to have the smallest, briefest shot at survival, the vaguest chance of having another sunrise beneath her belt, he hadn’t a minute at his disposal. The pair, with the withdrawal of their new game, would be returning, back on their tails within mere seconds, moments. Firmly, he gripped her scruff, hoisting limp forepaws as far as he could into the air. Quickly, he released her, crouching as low as he could before ducking beneath her falling body. As he rose, he twisted his tawny muzzle towards her body, adjusting her falling, slumping form gently, just enough so that she wouldn’t fall while he crept away. She was small, small enough that he could easily carry her to a safer location, at least somewhere a little bit less chaotic then Muddy Pines. After that, he’d try and tend to that torn, bleeding stump best he could, but for now, first priority was escape.
It hadn’t been three days yet – but he’d been wandering for so long, surely his companion could forgive him for this temporary oversight. Wasn’t it him that had told him to remain faithful to friends he’d encounter as he adventured out? In a wonderful, tremendous act of courage, she’d given him an opportunity at escape, a chance of forgetting he’d met her, or that the whole horrible act had ever occurred. Was that not an act of friendship?
As he tried his best to recall where he’d wondered before stumbling into stark pine forest, he caught the eye of the wolf that had delivered him for his aggressor’s jaws. He only had time for a friendly, brief dip of his head, unable to thoroughly convey thanks. All he could hope was that his eyes held some vague sense of his sincerity or gratitude. His companion had taught him that eyes were never insincere – he only hoped the other wolf knew his weren’t.
It was uncertain where he would go, but he vaguely recalled a fantastically yellow flower, bright and beautiful as sunlight, that his companion has chewed and pressed onto his wounds after many a mishap. It was there, he decided, where that flower bloomed, he would head with her.
Exit to Wherever-The-Hell-Marigold-Or-Some-Other-Healing-Herbs-Grow OOC: It was a pleasure roleplaying with you Kurutta, Nyrein, and Valentino! Best of luck with the rest of the battle. The male couldn't help but chuckle at the obsidian pup's dumbfounded expression. Still, he couldn't help but pity her as she looked up at the mammoth of a wolf before her, looking a little dazed. However, she quickly delivered a smile to the bear before her eyes moved over to Elric. He tilted his head at her, a small, friendly smile floating up to his lips. A shift of white movement caught his attention and Elric's golden eyes were driven to the white male's quizzical face. Elric simply raised his circular gray brows, 'this is interesting' written on his now playful muzzle. When the pale wolf turned back towards his contrasting little companion, Elric stepped a little closer, nose twitching as he familiarized himself with the new scent. Stuttering rather ungracefully, the petite she-wolf went on to apologize to the white wolf. While the much larger canine--who Elric would soon learn was titled Mochi--dismissed the interruption, Elric glanced around, searching for the pup's parents. His ears perked forward, seeking out any sort of noise that may come from the surrounding woods. Nothing presented itself, however. Poor pup, was she alone? What had happened to her parents? Was she lost? " Elric," he said simply at Mochi's glance. He returned the warm look but soon moved his eyes so that they were fixated on the pup. " Are you lost?" Omega Macha @mochi

Macha The Deaf Pup
The deaf pup felt herself release a breath she hadn't known she was holding when the giant chuckled warmly at her words. She smiled and glanced toward the russet male for a moment, missing the beginning of the giant's speech. As Macha brought her eyes back to him she finally noticed his lips moving and cocked her head, gazing into his eyes with interest and confusion. She had no idea what he was trying to tell her though she had caught a few words Akecheta had taught her to recognize. "Miss such a huge-" and that was all she had caught from his movements. The last word she had not understood having never been taught much more then necessary. "My name is Mokee." the male's lips spoke, before he gave a large smile to her and the russet male. Mokee? Is that a name? Macha thought as she looked at him. Without knowing she was doing so, she repeated the name out loud. "Mokee."
Macha turned her head upward and to the russet male looking for confirmation just in time to watch his own lips move. "Elric." The pup didn't understand the word he spoke and furrowed her brow. Was it some way of confirming Mokee's name? However, her face lightened when she realized it was his name. He then focused his attention on her startling the pup and his lips moved again. Macha immediately felt glad that Akecheta had taught her how to read lips as it was coming in handy at this moment. "Are you..." What was that last thing? It started with Lo that was for sure. Macha's began gently pawing at the dirt as she thought, her eyes glancing to Mokee and then back to Elric once or twice as she thought.
Long? Lot? Lost? The last two seemed more close. Maybe it was lost? Had she seen a st at the end? The deaf pup focused on the russet male and began speaking. "N-no. Macha." Her tail wagged when she realized what she had just completed. Her silver-gold gaze gazed up at the males happily in await for their answer.
"Life is a precious gift, so we should cherish our time here, our time together."

Satisfaction coursed through the tawny brute's veins as the soft flesh of the much larger male's chest, however, it was short lived as the ivories of the green-eyed male slammed themselves into the back of his neck. Nyrein released a roaring growl in response to the the pressure that the taller male was placing on the back of his neck, lowering his body involuntarily. Out of the corner of his eye he was the mottled male he fought first run off with Little Blood, that broken limb hanging grotesquely behind her; at least it was for a minute, before the ebony brat that Kurruta had focused her attention on ripped it completely off, that lucky bastard.
It was obvious that the taller chocolate male wanted his teeth out of his chest as much as Nyrein wanted his out of his neck, but the mighty shake that he used to try to release his grip was futile. The tawny male wanted to inflict some damage to the larger wolf, and he was going to do so. However, once the pressure increased, Nyrein released his iron grip, not wanting to get shoved to the ground.
However, it seemed that the larger male was intent of grounding him, and with a plan in mind, the relatively heavy male allowed himself to be shoved onto his back. Knowing that the larger brute would need to readjust the grip he held on his neck, Nyrein stalled just enough for the male to release his bite and go in for another neck grip when he flicked his cranium up, hopefully headbutting the larger male square in the mouth.
* If his headbutt had worked and distracted the larger male, Nyrein would move out from presumable underneath him and flip onto his paws, ready to launch another attack of defend himself from the larger male. However, there wouldn't be much the other brute could do, as with a bruised mouth, biting would be more painful to the wolf than Nyrein. "Leave, fool. Or, we can continue this dance for days; I'm still ready," The tawny male would growl out, his hackles raising; slightly bloodstained from the bite wound Valentino had left on his scruff.
* If his headbutt had missed, he would open his jaws and try to interlock them with the other male's before he could attach them to his neck. trying to fend himself off in that manor, he would try to knock one of the larger wolf's paws with his flailing limbs to knock him off balance. If the larger male got knocked off balance, Nyrein would get out from under him and repeat what he would say if his attack had succeeded.

Mochi watched as the sandy male glanced around the rogue lands, clearly sharing the same thoughts and concerns about the lone pup. Would they need to find her parents? What if they couldn't find them? There's no way Mochi could ever leave someone so defenseless alone. A worried expression flickered across the bear-like wolfs handsome features as his brown slanted eyes soften with sympathy for the pup. He knew all too well what it was like to be left alone and not to have parents around. He could remember how big and scary the world became, that is, until he grew to be just as big and scary himself. "Elric." The russet male said simply and Mochi smiled appreciatively, eyes turning into small crescent moons. Elric, what a nice name~ As soon as Elric's eyes trained back to the pup, the pearly male did the same. "Are you lost?" the smaller male asked and Mochi's ear flickered in anticipation. He wanted to ask a hundred more questions but that would probably overwhelm the poor kid. "Mokee." The pup spoke, an attempt to speak his name. Suddenly a huge smile spread across Mochi's face as he chuckled lightly, her adaption to his name was damn adorable. The marbled youngling seemed to turn to Elric for some sort of confirmation. It was then that it dawned on Mochi a slight realization. Surely she was old enough to talk properly. So how come she mispronounced his name? Was it a speech impediment or perhaps something more? Would it be rude to bring up? The pups face suddenly brightened after processing Elric's name and Mochi couldn't help but feel bad for the kid. Something was definitely wrong. Hell, if the kid thought his name was Mokee then he would damn well respond to Mokee. "N-no. Macha." she spoke again, her tail wagging at what seemed to be her own accomplishment. Macha.. Mochi had an idea as the over-grown fluffball sent a small almost knowing look to Elric. While the pup had her concentration trained on the smaller male, the Arctic wolf decided to put his theory to test. "Hey kid, can you hear me?" he spoke lowly yet loud enough for both the wolves to hear, if they could. He, however, made very little motion with his lips as he spoke. An eyebrow raised in slight suspicion as to how the pup would respond, or rather, if she would.

Kurūtta
Kurūtta watched as the ebony male she had spoken too just mere seconds before fled off into the forest. "Coward." The she-wolf hissed with rage spilling over her other thoughts. She had grown impatient with the fight that the wolves were giving and completely ignored the male as he too fled with the dark she-wolf on his broad back. Her sickeningly rotten yellow gaze fell upon Nyrein and the jade-eyed male fighting. At first, Kurūtta felt like sitting and watching the amusing performance but as soon as this thought hit her mind, she brushed it away as she was once again itching for a good fight. She skulked forward, watching Nyrein's attacks carefully and plotting as she circled them, her circles getting closer and closer inward each time she went around.
Finally, the she-wolf would lung forward at the most likely distracted wolf and grab a hind leg, wrenching it outward and thus cracking or breaking the bone easily. * If the attack worked, she would then go for his other hind leg and try breaking that one too. * If her attack didn't work, she would reach for his tail and snap the bones in that for sure. "What a pitiful thing." She cooed softly, her smile curling upward again as she shot towards the edge of sanity.

Rogue Valentino "I still remember the first day I met you"
As his opponent succumbed to the pressure Val was applying to his neck he let out a growl of victory. Slightly too soon, however, for as he went to adjust his grip the canine headbutted him right in the maw. A small yelp of pain escaped him as he jerked back from the force. He felt blood pull in his maw and flicked his tongue around as he tasted the metallic liquid. A tooth was missing but was not the entire cause for a bloody mouth. He had ended up ripping a lip open from the headbutt, either from the other's forceful attack or from it slashing on a tooth; either way his mouth was sore. He had back up some, away from his opponent to re-balance himself. Somehow, the other male and female had fled, leaving him alone to deal with the two psychos. How kind of them, he thought to himself slightly annoyed. His mind was distracted by his original opponent and did not notice the crazed female circling. For a moment he wondered where she was until an intense pain reared through his leg. A snarl and whine ripped from his maw as he whipped around. Too late. A breaking sound was herd which left another pained yelp leave his maw. He turned out of instinct just as her mouth went around his tail. His maw opened snapped upon her face in defense and instinct. *If his attack landed he would feel blood ooze in his mouth from wherever he bit at but would immediately let go. *If his attack missed, he would jerk away with a snarl and limp. Starring at the two, his tail and leg now broken, as well as a bloodied mouth. Another growl left his maw but he turned and rain, his gate wobbly. He hoped the two did not chase after him. He needed to get away, or find someone kind enough to help him. Whines left him uncontrolably with every jerk of his body. He pushed past the pain, hoping to get away. His tail hung at an odd angle behind him, which worried him. His leg, however, seemed to have been clean. The broken limb seemed to just be extremely swollen but he knew that it was broken. Finally thinking he got away, he plopped down on a bed of flowers. His chest heaved with pain and exhaustion. His mind was unable to keep up with the day's events. First he was scared by the crazed female, chased until he ran into two strangers - one being his crazed opponent - then he had to defend the injured female, and the seemingly useless male from the mess he made, only to be left alone. With so much pain coursing through his body, his mind went black and he passed out. His body forcing him to rest and recover.

A small, dark fluffy figure moved along through the mild temperate forest, aimlessly busying herself with finding herbs. Khloie found it all a bit difficult, however, as she was located on the edge of the forest where green intermixed with desert. A few hours earlier she had found herself a sad little patch of borage leaves, swallowing them down as to help with her depressing milk supply. This was all due to her lack of hunting skills, something in which she hadn't been practicing lately. The female hadn't ate for at least two days, her stomach aching along with the heavy litter inside of her that made nothing better. To counter this, the pregnant she-wolf had a small bundle of Lotus held gently within her maw, the only thing that was keeping her awake currently. Having not found anything, Khloie sat firmly on her rump with a heavy sigh. Only a few seconds later did her belly suddenly move, a strange feeling that she had never really gotten used to. " I know you guys are hungry. I'm trying," she would mumble aloud, releasing another heartfelt sigh. In all reality it had only been 2 weeks since she was dragged away from her formal pack, the memory still fresh in her mind. In her downtime Khloie found herself deeply missing her ex mate, occasionally contemplating if she could go back and persuade him to run away with her. Of course, all of that would be a wasted effort. Her belly bulged in comparison to her small adolescent body, and a trip like that; she would never make it. After eventually catching her breath, Khloie would again rise from her hanches, off to search for prey. The she-wolf hadn't taken but 2 steps when a wild shriek met her ears, a very distant sound but obviously an animal in pain. Khloie looked to the direction in which it came from, her ears alert and expression wide. Like a frozen deer in headlights, she watched for some time, trying to locate what it was and where it was going. Accompanied with her lacking skills, however, she didn't come to any conclusions until she could see the wolf's mottled brown pelt limping through the bushes. With no more than a quick whisp of air and the tiniest scuffle of leaves, Khloie darted off on paws as light as she could make them, finding her way behind a large bush. Her shy blue and white eyes narrowed onto his figure carefully, watching as he slinked along in agony before his bloodiest body finally gave way to gravity. The she-wolf flinched greatly as the brutes body made a loud thump onto a bed of flowers, her head jerking around as if someone were about to attack her. With the confirmation that this was false, however, Khloie would again look to the battered male, slowly sticking her head out from the side of her cover. Now with a better view, the she-wolf noticed many problems contributing to his pain. His maw was bloody with a crimson goo, Khloie not quite sure if he was bleeding out internally or if that was someone else's DNA. Apart from that was an oddly shaped leg and tail, obviously broken. The soon-to-be mother gradually made her way from behind the bush before freezing once again, wondering if whoever did this was nearby. If so, she wasn't about to risk her life and her babies. But the male lay there so helplessly, his mind probably drifting through a hazy darkness. With a quick scrunch of her brow, Khloie would lightly trot over, sharp eyes analyzing any and everything. A quick glance over to his closed eyes told her that he probably wouldn't feel anything, much less would he retaliate and lash out. Sitting firmly on her haunches, small fluffy paws began to work gently. She would pick up the broken leg slowly in a paw, rotating it slightly to figure out where the break was and what she could to. Luckily for her, the break wasn't terribly bad, she just had to snap it back into place. Same went for the tail. And afterwards I just need to find some cobwebs, comfrey, poppy seeds maybe.. her list went on and on as she worked. Khloie placed the limb down once again, positioning her paws before applying great pressure. With a few tries, the leg eventually snapped into place, a rather ill-sounding pop. She then moved to the tail, repeating until it no longer was held at an odd angle. Completing the dire needs, she would then quickly do a once over of his body before running off to find material. Maybe fifteen minutes later did she return, a mouthful of almost everything she needed as well as a heavily wrapped pawful of cobwebs. Again she took a seat infront of her patient, calmly working at applying treatments and bandaging with cobwebs. Once finished, she would hesitantly glance toward his face, admiring how he looked a bit similar to her old mate, but only for a moment. Khloie placed the poppy seeds and chewed up comfrey infront of the rogue before darting off once again, farther this time, to a fallen log that would allow her to watch over her patient for some time without being noticeable. She hoped that soon the rather charming male would wake and consume the remaining herbs, showing no signs that she had missed something so that she could move on with her life.
@valentino OOC: Hope this is ok!

Stormfang shifted into out of her nightmare, sinking, for the first time in a long while, into the comforting darkness of true sleep, one not disturbed by neither nightmare nor dream. Nothingness, a releasing comfort in it’s absence of thought. The silver female calmed, her breathing evening, as she left the torture of memory, distorted as it was.
Eventually, Stormfang was released from deep slumber into the light doze of near- wakefulness and that eventually gave way to full alertness in the early hours of the morning. Bright eyes opening, she felt a warmth on her neck and twisted her head to see Azurine laying against her. Her piercing gaze flicked over her silver pelt, taking in the slight darkness in patches, and, recalling her nightmare and how she had been released, connected the two happenings and smiled at Az warmly, incredibly gratefully. ‘Thank you.” She allowed her simple words to convey her emotion, and touched her nose to the bright golden eye’s ear as she spoke.

As the coal-toned pup struggled to properly pronounce Mochi's name--which Elric found odd, but chose not to comment on--the multicolored male simply emitted a gentle chuckle. But then, as he further observed the younger wolf, confusion began to sweep over him. Rather than looking at them as they spoke, the youngster seemed to be staring at their muzzles. Elric's ears twitched, confused and intrigued all at once, as he attempted to figure out what was up. Perhaps she was simply odd in terms of personality? Or maybe she was just incredibly observant and looked at others, analyzing them. Or maybe it was something else altogether? Even when the petite being responded, Elric could not understand what was happening. Taking it as a joke, he snorted once humorously, tail wagging in the slightest to mirror hers. He caught Mochi's--Mokee's--knowing look, returning it with his own bemused one. He cocked his head as he turned back towards Macha, eagerly awaiting whatever was going to happen next. At the beast's question, realization finally overtook him. Oh. She's deaf. Deafness was such a foreign concept to the male. Of course he'd heard of it, not that he'd ever given it much thought. He couldn't really imagine what it was like to miss a sense. His were something he relied so heavily upon. Taken by the idea, he fixated his gaze on the female. If she really was deaf, Elric would surely want to get to know her better. Omega Macha @mochi

Delaney did not expect such a greeting. Alys’s relieved voice took her by surprise. The feeling of being needed filled her with an ounce of happiness. Her heart yearning to feel that again, but soon the emotion would drift away, as she returned to reality. The female responded to the white wolf’s question. “I had been with Olga and another male who had joined us on our hunt. But they wondered of without me, and I don’t know where.” One could sense the upset tone in her voice at the thought of her being left behind. But she would not allow the sadness to penetrate to far, her head snapping in the direction of someone else’s voice. “Hello.”
" I deeply apologize if I have interrupted anything,"
Instantly Delaney shifted, becoming a firm barrier between the stranger and her friends. Eyes narrowed as she questioned the male’s intention. “Can we help you?” It had been more a question on whether he had some reason to be there, as the female was already in a nervous state from the previous on goings. Though of course, not that anyone was going to know that she was nervous. Awaiting his response Delaney reassured her footing, paws digging into the earth. Preparing for a conclusion had the male chosen to attack. Though for only a single moment, her eyes flitted to meet Alys’s, looking to the swollen female with a determined stare. Had the stranger decided to fight Alys and Myst had to run, with Alys's delicate form and Myst's broken paw, neither of them would be capable of fighting back, and though no words were spoken between them, one could sense the concern that Delaney held for the females. But such a gaze would eventually switch to a more defensive one as she now glared towards the male. OOC: So so sorry for the long wait. But I'm finally back. @alys @myst @trico

"Oh," Alys mumbled dejectedly, "I see. I hope they're alright." Swallowing down the ball that had materialized within her throat, she allowed her kind, sad eyes to soften. "I'm glad you're here, though." As the little wolf was about to lean forward and press her snout affectionately to Delaney's shoulder, a voice froze her in place. Stupidly, hopefully, she had assumed the voice to be Pharoah. Though the timbre was off, the puffy creature couldn't help the racing of her heart and the slackening of her jaw as she tilted a delicate head sideways, peering into the swirling shadows of this wretched forest. Much to her dismay, the face was not one Alys was familiar with. She deflated with disappointment, but a tentative smile weaved its way across her white muzzle.
Delaney spoke first which didn't bother the mother-to-be in the slightest. Her tone was a little too guarded for Alys' liking, but wolves were often reserved creatures. Nevertheless, she didn't repress the grateful tone that graced her lips at Delaney's defensive posturing. In order to alleviate the tension that her friend's kindness was currently producing, Alys' tail wagged jovially in greeting. Her ears perked forward, eagerly ready to absorb any sound that the newcomer might make. Her eyes crinkled warmly despite the stiffness still clinging to her features, she hoped that she was providing a good enough welcome. She would hate it if they chased away such a nice looking... giant.
With an invisible jolt, the female came to the staggering realization that the male was roughly the size of a bear. The sheer mass of his build was enough to dwarf a 2''3 Alys. Even in his seated position, the beast towered above her. Curious, the white wolf took slow, waddling steps closer to Delaney. She looked to her companion, smiled supportively, and then twisted her head back towards the bear, awaiting his answer.
