Macha
Macha immediately knew something was wrong. Both the tan male and the chalk white male were watching her and had been for a little too long to be comfortable. She turned from one too the other, her eyes holding of confusion. Had someone said something? Asked something? Were they having a staring contest? If so then she had most definitely lost. The little onyx pup frowned slightly as she tried to think up something to say. But what was there to say? "I..." Her words trailed off and she stood silently for an extended amount of time, her brow furrowed in deep thought. She had to say the right things but the right things were so hard to find.
Finally, the pup found the right words. Macha looked up at the two males and began to slowly push the words through her throat. "I'm... I'm sorry. I-I didn't guh-get that." She looked up, awaiting their expressions. Her hopeful eyes met theirs with happiness and she began to carefully add to her previous words. "Did you s-s-say some-something?" Her eyes lowered to stare directly at their lips. Macha was gaining more confidence the more she spoke and she was starting to get troublesome words. The only remaining problem was that reading their lips correctly took some work. "Life is a precious gift, so we should cherish our time here, our time together."

Mochi watched as his prediction became correct. The pup glanced at the two males, a facial feature of confusion washing over her small adorable face. She seemed so defenseless, perhaps she wasn't at all but in Mochi's eyes, she was a small pup in a large world full of blood lusters and cannibals. His slanted eyes softened some as he tilted his head ever so slightly in interest. His brown orbs then slowly drifted to Elric's sandy form. The three would be an odd group, but honestly he wouldn't mind one bit if they decided to travel with him. They were charming wolves and there is safety in numbers, not to say Mochi couldn't handle a few rogues - the guy was huge. "I..." The pup started, snapping Mochi out his thoughts, his head tilted more so at the trailed off words. "I'm... I'm sorry. I-I didn't guh-get that." she stuttered and the polar-bear looking wolf smiled encouragingly. She was really trying. "Did you s-s-say some-something?". Mochi's eyes flickered with sadness and his smile became bitter-sweet. "You poor kid... Must be tough on you, huh?" He'd wait for any reaction out of the surrounding two wolves before continuing with a sigh. His smile became a more confident and reassuring one. "Don't worry, Mokee and Elric will take care of you." He slipped out before even getting the other males confirmation that he'd even be staying. Hell he literally only just met the male. With a guilty as all heck smile, Mochi turned towards the smaller male, a pleading look on his face as his tail softly shifted side to side.

Tree's eventually seemed to spin around her - no, they were moving and spinning. Elenor found her breath rapidly escaping her body for a moment has it seemed she was flying and then falling. With the agonizing thunder that pulsed and throbbed through her leg, along with her slowly softening cries, she found it hard to focus on what was happening. That was, until she found herself moving without any motion from her three legs. In fact, she vaguely remembered the flash of molted fur as her body fell through the air. As she assumed, the big mass of a brainless male had hoisted her on his back, and the duo now drifted through the forest. Elenor wanted to be mad, to wriggle her way off of him and demand that he leave her to die, but she couldn't seem to bare the pain after simply jerking her head once. Helpless once again, broken, and completely stupid for even going to find him in the first place. What was his name again?
Ellie was quickly growing pale and dazed due to a lack of blood. In a lot of ways she felt bad for the rogue. He could have taken the chance to get away but yet he stayed, and now he was stuck carrying her body as blood likely drooled down his side. To her fortune the lack of blood seemed to block out part of the pain, her eyes shifting lazily around the area as her mind drifted. She still couldn't tell if the male was stupid or if he was hinting at a frienship. That or a favor for her sacrificing her life. Quite frankly Ellie didn't want a friend. She wanted to wallow in her depression until she died of blood loss or hunger. But in this moment, was felt the faintest hint of hope. She was growing incredibly cold metaphorically speaking, and right under her tiny body was a strong happy-go-lucky male that was the first to offer her any sort of kindness in the past two weeks. It was comforting, really, and Elenor found herself nuzzling her head into his warm scruff, too dazed to realize what she was doing or care. No, here in this moment she felt safe in a sense, and she would finally let herself fall into a somewhat easy slumber of unconsciousness.

Dirtied white paws gently scraped over a needle littered terrain, the small dame finding that her mind wandered. She imagined herself as a strong elegant and beautiful lady strutting through the forest, not a spec of dirt to be visible on her sleek coat. She was outgoing and had the cutest laugh, and behind her her mate drooled; infront of her a litter of her happy little young on an adventure. The forest seemed brighter around her, and she would look up thoughtfully, blinking into a lovely ray of sunshine peeking down on her. Her life was more than perfect in her imagination, and lately she couldn't help but look to her mind when things realistically were rather dull. Right now, for instance, Trinity was calmly strolling through a dark and musty forest, her 2"3 body hardly reaching the top of a bush. Quite frankly she should just call herself a small dog for all she cared, as she appeared to be so. It was a masculine sounding voice that drew her from her fantasy, one that was particuarly close indeed. " Don't worry, Mokee and Elric will take care of you," said the rogue. Trinity's head jerked, her mangled leftover hare still dangling within her maw. In most any circumstance she would have either run or kept quite and observed, but in this particular moment the she-wolf noticed that she was merely 20 feet away from three individuals, and if they were deaf then they would still easily notice her blinding white pelt in the shadows. Like a deer in headlights, she froze, a somewhat fearful expression glued on the two males. No, there were three; a small female younger than herself. Unfortunately for her, the pup was the only one around her height. Were they bullying her? I didn't seem so, as the pup appeared to happily wag her tail, slight confusion glinting in her face. I... could give away the rest of my hare, yes. It's making my jaw ache anyways, she would think bluntly to herself. It was the only thing she could think of to save her awkward appearance into the scene. With that in mind, her courage would take over and she would shyly walk up, keeping a steady eye on the two males that towered over her. One wrong move and she could be a dead mangled animal herself, though neither of the two appeared vicious. Though she had already wasted time, Trinity would trot up to the pup, dropping her hare infront of hr with a bored expression before skidding away with her tail low. " Sorry," she would quietly say behind her back as she went. Differently colored hues would glance back behind her once more as she went, mainly checking to see if she was being chased.

The small, fluffy lupine stepped into the unmarked territory, already scents flooded him - already he wasn't too thrilled about the place. The manipulative young male slowly weaved through shrubs, he hoped to some sort of higher power he didn't run into any damn savages. What a complete waste of time that would be. Large bulky wolves throwing their weight around and acting tough - how stupid. Real power was held within being smart and not just snapping at whatever looks like an entertainment source, as least in his mind that was how it was. His cream and ashen head held high as his big brown eyes stared boredly at the scenery infront of him. Already his pretty fur was getting dirty - very much to his distaste. The little scarred prince rather be kept visually kept immaculate, it was just the way he was brought up. There were a few interesting scents he could follow, perhaps using his cute and deceiving looks to leech off of some poor sap. His stomach did feel a little empty with the amount the kid had walked. A groaning sound from his abdomen had a soft grey ear flicker in irritation. Okay so he was pretty hungry. The young male wasn't all too experienced in hunting, perhaps finding someone with particular skills would indeed turn in his favour. With that, the male began scouting for a potential being he could group himself with.

@sakia .:. Rogue Female "There was no one to tell, and nowhere to hide.. I kept the pain to myself, while a part of me died.."
Velvety cream hued fur pressed briefly against the rough bark of a tree, curling around the growth, and pushing into the bushes beside it. The air reeked of wolves, much to the dismay of Sakia herself, though one in particular was closer than the rest. He was young, though still older than herself, and possibly more experienced. The lithe female held some bulk, her muscular body sleek and clean, besides her lower limbs, which were now stained a murky brown. Weaving her way to the clearly male scent, the lupine frowned, awkwardly fumbling with the thick branch clasped within her jaws. Slowing to a halt, mere yards from the opposing male, the 10-month old delicately placed her artifact upon a semi-clean stone, adjusting it carefully with her nose, before turning back to the unknown male. Her expression was placid, emotionless throughout. She eyed the male with shockingly bright eyes, almost observing him for a bit to long.
The alabaster tinted brute reminded her briefly of her sibling, Hale. Sakia allowed her head to tilt slightly to the side, her eyes still glued onto Tenshi's. Hale had not passed through here, there was no scent of her beloved brother. Still, the bitch vowed to find him. Whether he would want to see her or not. Sighing quietly, slowly, her features regained focus, straightening, and standing taller. Still, her approach to the male was silent, her eyes pinned on him to speak first. She wouldn't say anything until he expressed either hostility, or safety. Still, her intentions for approaching the wolf still remained cloudy, his features prompted the slightest hint of curiosity. In the brief period of time, she had already searched every visible inch of the wolf with her ghostly gaze, wondering here and there if Hale took on this feature. Was he lean, or muscular? Did he have pointed ears, like this wolf, or rounded? Nonetheless, she would remain with her weight pressed onto her haunches, her muscles tensed and ears perked, watching him with a hawk's eye.

Rogue Valentino "I still remember the first day I met you"
Valentino was in the dark once he crashed on the soft ground. His body reacted when his savior cracked his bones back into place, merely jolting and flinching before settling back down. At times he would let out small whimpers or groans as she worked on him, but he didn't open his eyes. His mind had wondered deep into locked away memories, places he kept stored for rainy days or to hide from himself. This memory though, was mostly happy.
Something began to hurt and distorted his memory of his white Angel. The more he tried to focus on her the more the pain began to hurt. He tried to call her name but his mouth felt padded, sore. Coming to he looked up to see a darkening sky. The sharp movement caused pain to ripple down his bruised chest and neck. Laying his head back down he noticed herbs in front of him.
Feeling his body he felt sticky, looking down to his leg, he noticed cobwebs. Someone had healed him. Looking around, he hoped he would find the kind soul who would repair a stranger. Fifteen feet away he spotted a small fluffy wolf sitting on a log. Her belly swelled around her, probably due to have pups soon.
"Did you do this?" of course she did, at her confimation he let a smile reach his lips. He attempted to right himself to his belly but gave up once his leg gave a sharp jolt of pain. Rolling to his side once more, he looked at her with his eyes. "Thank you," he said, his voice sounding pained and exhausted. "I'm Valentino, may I inquire the name of my savior?"

The young dame found that she was growing restless by the second, her eyes not only glued on the large male but also much of her surroundings. She was very aware that the forest still smelled strongly of other lone wolves roaming, not only her, and she vowed to pay attention as much as possible. There was no risking her life and pups anymore; no mate to protect her. Being a single mother was definitely proving a challenge, as currently she was a tremendously hungry, a bit parched, and heavily drained on energy. On the contrary, her next goal was to steal a drink of water before slipping away into some safe hole for the night. Yes, and then tomorrow I will hunt all the mice I can find! she would muse hopefully to herself despite her great lack in hunting skills. A sudden jerk of the male's cranium sent her focus back into check, flinching greatly as she realized he was awake. Khloie ducked her head and crouched lowly on the log, making herself much smaller than she already was. If he wasn't fully conscious, he could very easily mistake her for a rock. In due time after analyzing what had been done to him, his head would churn carefully until it landed on her. The she-wolf kept deadly still, even halting her breathing as she waited for him to lose interest and turn away. But then, she noticed that he wasn't moving, and quickly she blamed in on her eyes. They were much too bright and likely visible to even the dim-minded. As if she were never paying attention, Khloie flinched once again as his deep voice sounded in her ears, inquiring if she were the one to heal him. Yet, still rather hesitant Khloie would turn her head, looking around as if the rogue was speaking to someone directly behind her. She would then slowly nod her head, knowing damn well that she was the only one around. That or she obviously hadn't been paying as good of attention a she thought. The muddy brown brute then smiled at her, but she would not smile back, instead look at him wide eyed and alert. He thanked her, and in return Khloie would quickly nod her fluffy head once again before getting up, the weight of her belly hanging as gravity fought to pull it down. She was preparing to turn and bolt, but then the male kept talking. " I'm Valentino, may I inquire the name of my savior?" he asked politely. Psh, savior?? she thought questioningly to herself. Her mouth suddenly opened without her consent, but no words came out. Did he really need her name? No. Then he'll just keep talking, and I can't risk that. Khloie swiftly shook her head, looking as if she were in a hurry, which she was - to leave and stay away from all strangers. " I'm sorry," she would say quietly, her soft high-pitched voice surprisingly smooth despite the lack of use. Without another word she turned, hopping off the log, her swollen belly dipping uncomfortably low before she would proceed with a mild trot directly away from Valentino. Her timid gaze would glance back at the male a few times, assuming that he wouldn't give chase considering his condition, and thus she didn't need to run.

From the corner of his eye, Tenshi noticed a rustling in amongst the shrubs. Innocent-looking chocolate eyes narrowed, his stance ready to either dash to safety or fight off whatever was coming. However his eyes widened a little as a she-wolf, younger than himself came trotting out... With a stick. Letting his stance relax, Tenshi watched in amusement and slight confusion, his eyebrows furrowed as his head tilted slightly to the side. She took the thick branch that was locked in her jaw and placed it onto a rock. Taking care in placing it. This only confused Tenshi further. How odd. She seemed to be staring at him with bright emerald eyes, for a little too long in his opinion - and it made him slightly uncomfortable. Sizing her up, the female was smaller than him - practically a pup even. There wasn't too much to her, although she remained silent which just added to the uncomfortableness Tenshi felt. She really was weird as hell to him. Her head tilted to the side as she looked as if she was in thought for a moment, before sighing and straightening up. Tenshi did like-wise with a roll of his shoulders and his eyes once again narrowed. The fluffy and scarred male raised an eyebrow. "Uh, hello?" He spoke casually, although already his voice hinted sarcasm, the words of 'is anybody in there?' tempting to slip from his jaw. Yet he held his tongue. The female probably wouldn't be all too beneficial. After-all, she looked younger than he did and was smaller. But he supposed it didn't hurt to find a travel buddy. "My name's Tenshi." he said, eyeing her top to bottom once more.

@sakia ; Rogue Female
She had already braved through lonesome territories, struggled through the forces of nature, and dominated wolves older than herself. Now, Sakia's paws felt cemented to the ground, caked with mud about 1/4 up her short legs. In front of her stood a rather pretty male, with warm chocolate eyes, and a cocky vibe about him. Her expression was placid, similar to that of a deceased creature. Every inch of her lacked emotion, drained along with almost every ounce of her will to live. The young bitch stood like a stone, her calculative eyes narrowing as the male spoke, sarcasm, and almost mockery laced within his more mature voice. "Uh, hello?" How cute. Sakia felt her heart pound with amusement. Already, this male saw an innocent wolf. But who wouldn't? She was expressionless, carrying around a playtoy. She was hardly large either, and her adult fur had only just received it's signature, feathery shimmer. "My name's Tenshi."
"Sakia." Her speech was low, her eyes still searching his form. But instead of pinpointing weaknesses, she flashed a mental image, and took note on anything. She was perceptive, yes. If he were to lean more to one side then the other, Sakia would find a way to exploit this, taking advantage in the smallest ways. For such a young wolf, her voice was surprisingly deep, and her eyes ever so dull. Thick within her memories lay stains of crimson blood, and ripped flesh. Such a young wolf experiencing such trauma. Her veins boiled with hot rage, and the thick desire to kill. To rip the flesh out of whoever she saw fit. To seek revenge on anyone remotely related to who ever ruined her pack. To seek revenge on whoever ruined her. The mutilated bodies traveled alongside her every day, lonely whispers, begging to be saved. Their words were gurgled, and slurred. Everyday, Sakia would push these thoughts away, traveling the same direction her brother would have as he was lost in the storm, finding solace in even the stalest scent of her beloved sibling. Her eyebrow lifted, he could see it in his eyes. His gaze was lacking any sort of comfort. More picking at her seemingly unusual behavior. The ex-heiress flattened her gaze further, if possible. "I'm not good at exchanging pleasantries, if you can't tell already. Or is your head to far up your own ass to tell?" She cocked her head, her words spat with a generous layer of sarcasm, and perhaps, amusement? Deep within her ghost-like depths, was the faintest twinkle, her small tease being the first remotely friendly thing she had done since Hale. Her language was similar to that of a cruel dominant male, confidence striking the air like the scent of fresh prey. Speaking of which, the familiar pain of hunger gnawed at her stomach.
"Let's hunt, Tenshi." She shrugged, casting a glance behind her, looking over her precious artifact before brushing past the older male. "Follow or not, it will hardly effect me." Sakia's voice was almost a purr, her tail hitting the back of Tenshi's leg softly, both signalling where she was going if he were to follow, and a light challenge. Of course, none of the prey around here seemed to appetizing, so the smaller female instead started targeting rats - or mice -, as she was much to small to hunt anything like a deer, or a hog.

Walking down the untrodden path, she glanced behind herself multiple times. It had been, what, a moon since she left her old pack? Jumpy and fidgety, you could say she wasn't quite[ used to be being alone just yet. She hadn't found herself in the path of any other wolves; at least, not yet. Not quite longing for a companion, but lonely all the same, she wouldn't mind a conversation.
After a few moments of walking absentmindedly, she stopped and sniffed the air. There had most likely been some wolves around here, perhaps the day before. Maybe she would find some? Shrugging, she didn't let her hopes rise, and walked on.
She wondered where the path would take her to next. She had crossed a few territories, but didn't really investigate too much. Perhaps she would find a pack to call her own one day, but today wasn't that day. The moment she stepped onto the area, she could tell there wouldn't be any packs around here, more of a rogue territory. She had always wanted to be a pack wolf, but so far the rogue life wasn't so bad. Her eyes sparked when she thought of starting her own pack. Impossible, of course, but couldn't a wolf dream?
Finally, she stopped for a rest under a tree's shade. It was sweltering outside, summer being. Panting, shelooked around for perhaps a stream or river. No such luck. But still, she could last. Instead, Akamai looked for a creature to hunt. She hadn't eaten since morning, and it was only a small meal. Not encountering much prey on her journey, she hoped her attempts to hunt wouldn't be futile.
She sniffed the air for any scent. Observing the area, she looked at the tree she had been resting on. There was definitely a scent of squirrel.

He didn't even try to conceal himself, there was no point, with his large, bulking alabaster form, he stuck out like a bruise in the muddy territory. Still, he remained unconcerned. Expression clouded, almost pained. The brute followed a non-existent scent, his limbs being pushed forward unwillingly as he awaited any sign of relief, maybe something to steer him towards his sister. Nothing. Stopping in his tracks, Sakura let his head fall for the first time in his life, his stomach sucking in as his chest heaved, his shoulders jerking forwards. Tears of pure hatred, and disappointed teased at the cusp of the male's eyelids. Mere months ago, his life had been blatantly taken away from him, over what, a title? To his disappointment, Sakura was unable to admit that the rank wasn't everything to him. He lived by it, wrapped his life around it. Now, he was knocked off his high-horse, and onto the ground where the homeless wandered. Now devoid of his usual demeanor, his head bowed further, and the lupine's legs shook. He could feel it, hot against the back of his throat. The acidity stung his throat, only made worse as his stomach contracted, and his body recoiled, shocks waving throughout as the substance hit the ground, his eyes opened wide, bloodshot, and tear filled.
Soon, his body hit the ground as well, his ribs now revealed from their position underneath thick fur and muscles. Chest heaving, Sakura faced the affects of starvation, and dehydration rapidly, his body aching, and begging for anything to cure the damage he had done to himself. Still, he didn't bother trying to find water, or food. Instead, he took this opportunity of nearly fainting, as a mere chance of rest, before he would continue on his way, searching all over the territory, fueled by nothing but revenge, and false hope. Once again, the white body jerked suddenly, and Sakura flung himself over, half on his paws, bowing over again as his body rejected whatever was left in it. Inhaling rapidly, acid stung the brute's tongue, his fur streaked with tears of pain, as his core constricted again, but now he simply dry-heaved, his body shaking into an eruption of coughs and gags.
Struggling to his weakened paws, Sakura attempted a few feeble steps forwards, his limbs shaking as he forced himself to straighten. Blurry eyes picked out three distant wolves, one of which a similar size to himself, another was a mere pup. Cute. But, he could hardly make it three more steps, before his limbs froze, giving out, and forcing him to the ground. Finally, weeks of restricting himself from food, and ignoring the prospect of taking frequent drinks had caught up to him.

Myst nodded slowly to Delaney's words, fighting back a surge of panic. However good of a hunter and a fighter she may be, Delaney still couldn't protect both Alys and herself at the same time. Cursing her useless paw, the female let out a puff of decisive air, and was just about to speak when a male voice intruded. She spun around, nearly falling sideways as her hindquarters jumped to substitute the use of her paw to turn to the brute, which had escaped the Arctic's notice from her thinking. Taking the size of the wolf in, she quailed slightly, but straightened under his gaze, right behind Delaney, pressing her side into Alys' to make sure she could alert both of them to run if needed at a second's notice. Thankfully, the mottled brown female before Myst spoke first. Her jaws staying shut, the wolf watched the male closely, her form guarded. Her expression, though, turned to worry and exasperation as Alys boldly came forward, with the other white female closely behind. She made a mental note to make sure next time the delicate female did not step straight into the line of fire. "What's your name?" Myst implored politely, trying to keep her voice from shaking in front of the tall brute. Names would be good. And this male, if it turned out well, could be an asset to their little group. They sorely needed someone they could trust.

The female was interesting as she stayed emotionless. When she eventually uttered her name, Tenshi was a little surprised she harbored such a deep voice, especially for someone her size. However, a small scan over her body with his chocolate orbs could confirm to him, that if she tried to attack, he could definitely handle the situation. His fluffy grey tipped tail thrashed slightly behind him, Tenshi was never the one to favor females company - and for good reason. The male may be arrogant and prince-ly, but he was smart. Already in his short life he'd had females betray him, so call it a grudge if you will, but he'd rather not tangle himself in such inconvenience. Mimicking her own eyebrow raise, Tenshi's expression were still unamused. "I'm not good at exchanging pleasantries, if you can't tell already." She spoke, yet Tenshi was quick to mutter an " Clearly." his face showing nothing less than not impressed. "Or is your head to far up your own ass to tell?" she finished with a cock of her head which only had Tenshi laugh dryly. "Let's hunt, Tenshi. Follow or not, it will hardly effect me." she spoke as she came to brush past him, tail swatting the creamy legs of the male as she walked on. This time Tenshi let out a genuine laugh. "How possibly stupid could you be?" He said once his laughter died down, a grin still etched onto his cute features. "You know, it's not very smart to judge one so quickly," his voice layering his prince-ly tone. "But what could I expect from such a female. I'd rather starve." he spoke bitterly, the last word coming out like venom. He didn't condone the tough act most wolves would put on. No he was fully against it, thinking it was rather stupid to be all insults rather than plot and plan. Instead of following the female, he'd stretch his lanky limbs before walking the other direction to the female, purposely knocking over her stick that she had so carefully placed as he trotted past with his head held high.

Elric's smile wasn't a common one. The dashing male could often be seen sporting flirtatious smirk or a devilish grin. However, in this moment his smile was perfectly guileless, nearly as innocent as the little black pup that was currently trying to formulate a sentence. She was stuttering, looking absolutely confused as if she couldn't remember the words she wished to speak. Despite himself, Elric chuckled. Was that mean of him? Laughing at a deaf pup? With a subtle look towards Mokee, Elric could see that the beast was smiling lightly, too. Feeling a little better about himself, Elric angled his head back towards Macha. By now, she'd finally managed to utter her response. Mochi replied first, looking like he pitied the youngster. Then, he reassured her. He reassured her, telling her--if she'd even understood what he'd said--that both himself and Elric would take care of her. For the fraction of a second the male's smile faltered, but it was dragged back to the surface before the hesitation was noticeable. Mokee and Elric will take care of you. It wasn't as if Elric didn't want to help out... but did he really plan on sticking around two strangers he'd just met? He was being so dramatic. He wouldn't think about it... Resisting the urge to squint at Mochi's sheepish smile, Elric glanced back towards Macha and nodded, an action coupled with a flawless smile. And yet, before a response was pulled from his lips, a flash of white caught his attention. Ears perked and alarmed, eyes wide and observant, Elric's tail rose with discomfort as the figure moved towards them. It didn't take long for the male to realize that she was making a bee-line straight for Macha. Taking protective steps towards the little pup, a low, menacing growl rumbled from his throat. Much to his surprise, the odd female dropped a hare at the pup's feet. What? Did this wolf know Macha? Apologizing, the tiny female--an entire foot shorter than Elric--scurried away. Shooting a perplexed look towards Mochi, Elric stepped back from the pup. " Wait!" Elric called before logic could kick in. He jogged forward, head tilted curiously to the side. Before he could chase her fleeing form down, though, another figure presented itself. Sluggishly dragging itself towards Mochi and the pup, the skeletal form was either dying right in front of them or had something wrong with their head. Skidding to a halt, Elric eyed him warily as he crumpled to the floor. Was the white female running because of this carcass? Were they in on some kind of plot together? Obviously uncomfortable, Elric's entire body tensed. He looked towards the bear, awaiting some sort of reaction. Or perhaps instruction.
