Behind her, the timid Theodosia backed away, eventually finding the courage to address the herbal wolf that had appeared. Her words seem muffled in her ears, as if she were underwater trying to eavesdrop. Beside her, Callie stood patiently, which partially made the lupine feel stronger. Mahogany tipped ears swiveled slightly, straining to make out the conversation better and watch for this new wolf, but just as she started to tune in a growl caught her interest. "I'm not going to 'lose' my attitude." Eyes narrowed very carefully on the speaker, Issoka as she named herself. Almost immediately, Paris reacted, releasing a threatening snarl herself while taking a bold step toward the she-wolf. She was now ready to fight, hackles raised to their fullest and white fangs shown in disgust. She had to go.
Oddly, her temper seemed to dramatically change, from a threat to an apology, one that Peri couldn't quite accept. Whoever the female was, she didn't like her strange personality, nor the quick mood changes. Was she bi-polar? Perhaps, nevertheless Paris could not accept her being around like she was. Apart from the continuing tension, around her things were coming to life, or rather, many others were showing up on the scene. The lupine felt herself growing uncomfortable with all the sudden attention, and with common sense the bigger they were, the more attention they got. This casual hunting group was turning into almost a pack-like situation, minus the claimed territory and family bonds. Paris hardly knew any of them, much less the newby's, and she felt herself being challenged of her position. Was she to accept all these wolves into their group? Did the group even intend on staying a group? To her, this was rather odd for rogues to act like a pack and collaborate, much less for her to be at the head of it all. And of course, Paris was going to take the initiative to maintain leadership regardless of how many rogues were around. Before Peri could react further, a yearling came in from nowhere, wagging her tail playfully as if this were a game and they knew each other. Already irritated, Paris was tempted to snap at the youngster, but alas, she reminded herself of how she was as a pup, and though she was nowhere near this outgoing, Peri knew her innocence wasn't meant to provoke anger.
Paris casually looked down toward the adolescent, not quite ready to produce a smile yet. The she-wolf introduced herself as Kebechet and, of course, requested access to their group. Someone as young as her couldn't have many skills to provide to the group, no doubt, but she had room to grow and her cheerful attitude, though potentially agitating at times, would help keep tension at a minimum. Apart from Kebechet, Issoka spoke once again, inquiring their names in order to become friends. Her crystal like orbs narrowed in her direction once again, almost as if glaring at her. I am not your friend, she would think. On the contrary the she-wolf was acting as if she had already been accepted into their group, she noticed. "Alright, you may join us Kebechet, but you will have to contribute what you can manage. I'm Paris, this is Chasen," she flicked her tail towards the brute by her side," This is Callie," Once again, her tail swayed toward the she-wolf on her other side, "Over there is Lucifer, and behind me is Theodosia." as a sudden thought came to mind, Paris apologetically looked towards the wolves she was just introduced, reminding herself that they weren't speechless. She didn't intend on annoying them too. On a side note, the hybrid had noticed that Lucifer seemed to be observing her, as if she were being tested. Was has he thinking of her? Was she good enough to lead still?
Upon addressing the yearling, Paris would then turn her attention to Issoka once again, contemplating if she were worth keeping around. Not all were good at first introductions, but her attitude was too complicated for Paris to be sure she would change to her liking. Still, she could always chase her off later if she proved a nuisance. "Fine, Issoka, you may stay as well. Contrary to this, if you continue to damper the mood in our group I will have no choice but to kick you out. I'd like to think that you have the ability to get along with all of us if you watch yourself," she would say, more or less indicating that she was not yet on Paris' good side.
The alluring lupine turned away from the she-wolf, hackles finally settling slightly. Were introductions done now? It seemed no new entity had appeared, and so Peri eagerly looked towards the deer their original group had caught. Should they be forced to share their meal with these 3 new wolves? Surely the deer would feed them all, but upon equal sharing no one would prove completely full afterwards. Additionally, Paris warily reminded herself that these new wolves had done nothing to deserve a piece of their food. No, they couldn't share. It would make her, if she were to agree, seem far too kind and generous. Peri had never lived in a pack, but the stories her father spoke of long ago suggested that too much kindness can be the fall of any group. Before she could make her way towards Lucifer and the doe, two new figure appeared from the trees; a pair of females. "My name is Hirsch, this is Iris. We smelled you a ways away, and figured we should say hello. We just caught this fawn, and figured we should bring gifts." the she-wolf spoke, dropping the fawn onto the ground. Paris inquisitively stared at the limp body, pondering if that had been the same fawn her and Theo had lost earlier. Perhaps, and if so Peri found it a bit irritating that she had lost such good meat to another, but then this Hirsch was willing to share. Too much kindness. To herself, she thought quietly, adding up numbers in her head. This seemed like an indirect proposal to join their group as well, but she couldn't go on assuming. Still, that made up 10 wolves split between a doe and a fawn. "Hello, I'm Paris. Your offering is very kind and appreciated. I'm not sure what your intentions are here, but you two are welcome to stay as you wish." finally, Peri offered a small subtle smile towards Hirsch and Iris who both seemed a bit apprehensive being around the big group from the start. With all the sudden activity, Peri was sure to wait a good few seconds in order to determine if there were scents of any other in the air. Indeed, there was a male and a female not too far off, but she didn't want to go hunt them down.
Paris prepared to address the entire group, but a thought came to mind that stopped her. She was the leader, or so she liked to think, but she couldn't go around dictating everything that happened. "Alright, i'm not sure who here is hungry, but I believe it is fair to split the group into 6 that can feed off our doe and 2 others that can share Hirsch and Iris' fawn so that we all can get an equal share," the hybrid paused and looked to her more familiar acquaintances as she would call them for now, offering time for them to object or comment if they wanted to on her decision. After all, the doe was theirs.
If there were to be no objections, Peri would nod and dismiss herself, casually turning her gaze toward Kebechet momentarily before flicking her tail in gesture for her to join them. It was assumed that at least Chasen would join in on the doe, as the flirty brute already seemed to show interest in the young one. Paris didn't mind Theodosia, and so she hoped the hybrid would also join her as well. Upon stopping at the doe's lifeless body, Peri would kindly look towards Lucifer. "You seem rather unopinionated. Talking isn't your thing?" she would ask innocently, meanwhile letting her fangs hungrily tear into the doe's stomach.

Azrath “All That He Asked Was To Be Left To Exist As Humbly As The Butterflies And The Birds.”
Azrath slung from his mother’s teeth, white scruff clamped in her jaws as she dashed through the charred trees. The smoke was making him sneeze now and then when he inhaled it’s nasty plumes too much, the stinging, grungy scent flooding his nostrils each time. It smelled like it looked: dark and foreboding. Each breathe in was like inhaling needles, each sticking inside his nose with painful pricks. Yet, his eyelids still sagged as exhaustion festered in his body and mind, despite the flames licking the trees around their small group and the smoke that bowled past their fleeing forms. Pain prodded every exposed spot: his nose, eyes, ears, mouth, everything. His only sense of hope was the glimmer of water through the churning clouds and glowing flickers of light, which quickly turned into the glassy surface of a small, clouded lake. Light shimmered off the reflective surface in a way that almost appeared truly beautiful yet the small ball of bleached fur knew that the source of that light wasn’t at all nice.
"Put me down!" Pearly eyes glanced to his side where he observed the writhing black form of his brother, curling and wriggling within his larger versions jaws. At about the same time, his own mother lowered him onto the soggy shore, releasing her death grip on his scruff. As his paws touched the dampened surface, water began to gingerly lap at his dainty white paws as he plopped onto the ground, feeling mud squish under his hind legs and between his toes. "Val, what if we have to stay her for a while.. That fire has miles upon miles of forest for fuel, and we will be risking our lives traveling elsewhere." Azrath’s eyes flicked fearfully toward his nervous mother as she stumbled over her question. "W-what about food... our source is literally limited to what's close to this lake." The fluffball was much too young and inexperienced to understand what his mother was concerned but he still worried. She looked so upset, with her face and posture showing just how distressed she was that all he could do was feel the same way about their situation.
"Valentino, I need you to stay here with my pups." Wait. Stay with them? He wasn’t dumb. He could infer the meaning of the sentence and he didn’t like it. Not one little bit. She was going to leave him and his brother with a complete stranger that she had been extremely mad at not long ago. "Protect them,” Her facial expression was hardened as she spoke in hushed tones to her… companion? Partner? Friend? To Azrath, this Val guy was only some odd wolf that turned up now and again in their lives to disrupt things. Then he was gone again. "I'm gathering herbs before they're gone."
“Wait, momma!” Azrath cried out desperately to his mother’s departing backside as she slowly faded into the haze. He didn’t want her to go; he didn’t want to be left with a complete stranger.
With a defiant huff, he white snowball sat perched on the muddy gravel, pearly white eyes narrowed as the large midnight wolf laid down before him and his shadow pelted brother. His warm emerald eyes smiled at the brothers. He smelled of smoke and wounds along with that deep, mature scent both adults had. Azrath didn’t trust him. His mom was mad at him, and so, Azrath was mad at him too. He didn’t know why he was mad, so maybe he was more unhappy with this ‘Val’ guy.
"Let’s do proper introductions, shall we?" Val got comfortable in a position perfect for blocking their path to the forest, the same place his mom had disappeared to moments before. "I'm Valentino," A gentle smile stretched across his face. But Azrath only frowned as the darkened adult continued in a calm, collected voice. "I was there when you guys were born, you two have grown so much." The snowball chuffed, eyes boring into Valentino’s as the midnight adult finished his words. Of course they had grown, this wolf didn’t need to point that out. They were pups, going from a day to a month old was a long period of time. The brothers had opened their ears and eyes as well as learning how to walk and talk.
Azrath glared at the dark male before opening his mouth to speak, innocent face still wrinkled in a frown. “Mister Val-en-ti-no, why is mom mad at you? Did you hurt her?” His voice was twisted and direct, anger pushing into his usually calm demeanor as he spoke to the wolf. Before the male would have a chance to defend his actions, the snowball would pipe up again. “Whatever it was that you did, you shouldn’t have. Momma’s the nicest wolf ever.”

Seraphina trotted into the territory, thirsty and slightly tired but also annoyed with all of the mud clamping to her already caked paws, I probably look insane. She shook her head and sighed, as she inhaled, her dark nose was hit with many different scents, blood, wolves, deer..? A pack..? It can't be there weren't any markers, curious and confused Seraphina sped up. Weaving around the pine trees and ducking under branches, she passed by a lake with semi clear water, this'll do, in comparison to that lukewarm water from that treacherous place full of red clay, she then remembered the dark strange brute whom she'd run into, she simply shooed the though away. After taking a drink she continued on her quest to find who these scents belonged to, she slowed down as she heard voices and then rounded around a semi clearing. She watched there appeared to be nine wolves and what seemed to be two deer, interesting, the leader seemed to be a strangely colored..wolf?. .no, the tail is curled that's not a wolf, and a coyote colored creature seemed to be intimidated and using this wolf-dog.. as cover? A wolf-dog as a leader? really? there seemed to be some sort of confrontation of sorts? this was getting more and more interesting by the second, she should most likely get a closer look, keeping her body low to the ground doing her best to keep her scent away from the wolves nostrils and out of their sight. She spotted a good amount of brush just in time to see them rustling, she perked her ears up and cautiously crept forward, keeping herself hidden as best as could, using the trees and branches as cover to carefully make her way towards said brush, soon being hit with a new scent, careful, she lifted herself up and perked her ears forward lifting her tail a little, still doing her best not to be noticed by the bigger group, just in time to see a large dark brute standing and observing the group as well, luckily he hadn't noticed her yet, thanks to all of the trees , this was a bit more familiar territory for Seraphina, although she would've liked it better if it weren't as..muddy. Just then she saw a young wolf scurry out of the brush and run right into the dark brute.. oh boy, Seraphina rolled her eyes. But stayed silent and watched wondering what would happen next, but then decided against if not wanting to watch such a petite wolf be torn to shreds although frankly for being so clumsy the youngster deserved a nip. Where are it's parents anyways ? ah... parents, Seraphina shook her head trying to rid herself of the thought. Sighing she moved forward leaving her cover of branches and moved closer to the brute and the youngster, well this is bound to go wrong, might as well make it interesting, Seraphina chuckled quietly. " So what are we looking at here ? " she said, her voice sounding strange to her after not speaking to anyone for a while during her travels. She curiously wondered how the pup would react to her and the brute, she noticed how he was a bit larger than she was but not by too much. She quickly glanced back at the group to make sure no one had heard anything but they seemed to be busy among themselves, if given the opportunity she would take a minute to study the group and figure out the weaker and stronger links before approaching them but at the moment she had to make sure she wouldn't get attacked. She turned her honey colored eyes back onto the dark brute awaiting a response. The group had done literally next to nothing and Indris was getting bored rather quick. Some new lupines came to exchange meals or something? He didn't care. But as soon as he turned away, a light thump in his leg caused a colossus head to drop down to the source. Expecting a mouse or rabbit, yet there before his lavender eyes was a pup. The hell? She was small with a creamy hue and the large charcoal male could only raise an eyebrow. Where the hell did she come from?! Quickly turning his cranium left to right, in hopes of spotting some sort of guardian, he found none of the sort.
Before he opened his jaws to talk, the sound of moving brush and branches gave the whereabouts to another she-wolf who seemed to be lurking about. Where were all these females appearing from? Who cares, looks like it's my lucky day. Out came a multi-coloured female, layers of greys, creams browns and whites filling up her pelt. A grin settled on Indris' handsome features. She was smaller than he was, then again he just about dwarfed anyone he met. Thank the stars for his fathers genetics. "So what are we looking at here?" came her voice and Indris was rather impressed by her straight-forwardness and lack of small talk of introductions. Straight to the point, just how he liked it.
"Waiting to see if they all kill eachother or perhaps the start of something I'd certainly like to join," he said suggestively, his deep, rough yet velvety voice seeping through from his throat. His grin turning wider into that of a mischievous one. Perhaps his words were a little too forward and perverted but hey, it was just his nature. He then remembered there was a kid present and he cleared his throat, hoping the pup wouldn't catch on to what he was hinting. Violet eyes flickered towards the older female then the pup. "The runt yours?"

Theodosia "The Doll Was Perfect, A Dress Of Silk And Lace, Skin Of Blushing Porcelain And Eyes Of Jade Glass."
Theo quivered behind the gorgeous hybrid, fear rising inside her as she observed the seemingly bipolar female snarl and lash back. "I'm not going to 'lose' my attitude." The female snapped, forcing the Coywolf to cringe back, muscles tensing in response to the harsh words. "I'm sorry for the rude intrusion." The female shifted, suddenly awkward and uncomfortable with the many pairs of eyes placed on her. Her sudden attitude change worried the little Coy-wolf some. Was she plotting something? Was she going to steal their hard-earned meal? Attack them? Concern flushed her expression as she flicked her gaze to the concentrated wolfdog standing tall before the- before Issoka. "Do you all have names?" Theo pursed her lips at the friendly request, a smile spreading on Issoka’s cream muzzle as she spoke. “If we are to become friends... that might be some valuable information."
“Hello!” A soft groan escaped the Coywolf upon the joyful introduction. Another one? Cherry blossom pink eyes swerved to find the jaunty creature: a genuinely smiling adolescent. “I’d ah, love some company, and you have quite the group… could I stick around? If you don’t mind?” I... don't know... But Theo couldn’t find it inside herself to speak up about the abundance of wolves. In her moment of stress, she found herself wistfully remembering her little temporary den huddled not far away, padded with moss and feathers. Alone, quiet, perfectly serene. “I’m Kebechet, but you can call me Chet, if you’d like.” The Coywolf glanced back to the beaming lupine, a small smile growing on her lips along with a gentle nod, for what, she had no idea but it felt appropriate in the moment. Perhaps this young, friendly female was growing on her.
A moment passed, satisfyingly quiet, as each wolf seemed to study one another, sizing the group up perhaps. Then, Paris opened her mouth, collected tones addressing the youngest newcomer with ease. "Alright, you may join us Kebechet, but you will have to contribute what you can manage. I'm Paris, this is Chasen, this is Callie, over there is Lucifer, and behind me is Theodosia." The timid smile touched her lips again as she took a tentative step out from behind the wolfdog and silver brute. “H-hello. Welcome to the group.” Theo gave a gentle sway of her tail. She had observed that this was a way to communicate a sense of friendliness between wolves. Having never really grown up with a wolf full time, she naturally swerved to coyote tendencies instead of the wolf ones.
"Fine, Issoka, you may stay as well. Contrary to this, if you continue to damper the mood in our group I will have no choice but to kick you out. I'd like to think that you have the ability to get along with all of us if you watch yourself," Theodosia swiped her tongue along her lips nervously, swerving her head toward the multi-hued female. She wasn’t going to lie, the stranger made her worry. Issoka, as she called herself, was large, spunky and her disposition seemed to change on a dime. The single flash of her teeth or claws would only bring Theo’s amount of trust for the female down to zero, no exceptions.
Yet, again, the scent of one--no, two--new wolves caught the little mix’s attention. The first to approach was a pretty, ebony female in a submissive posture. Her friend was the exact opposite in appearance, a near pure white female with a shy expression spread on her face. "Hello, please don't mind our intrusion, my name is Hirsch, this is Iris. We smelled you a ways away, and figured we should say hello. We just caught this fawn, and figured we should bring gifts." Slowly glancing to the slaughtered deer, Theodosia noticed it’s similarities to the one she and Paris had just recently been after. The scent was appetizing, the warm call of fresh blood invading the Coywolf’s nose. Such a mighty offer was quite a generous thing. But still, it was odd to bring a whole fawn to a group of wolves (And in between) that you didn’t know. "Hello, I'm Paris.” Theodosia put her attention on the ruby trimmed wolfdog, curious as to what she would think about the kind act. “Your offering is very kind and appreciated. I'm not sure what your intentions are here, but you two are welcome to stay as you wish."
"Alright, I’m not sure who here is hungry, but I believe it is fair to split the group into six that can feed off our doe and two others that can share Hirsch and Iris' fawn so that we all can get an equal share," Theo opened her mouth, prepared to mention that she didn’t need much but snapped her jaws shut again. It would be better to eat it while she had it. Soon enough, the group would probably break up and she would left hunting mice and snacking on edible plants.
Within moments, Theodosia’s safety was moving away from her, sauntering toward the toward the large doe. The Coywolf shuffled fearfully without the wolfdog shielding her appearance, front legs splayed out and ears pinned against her nape. She felt exposed, different. It might not have been as bad if she looked as beautiful as her friend, but she… wasn’t.
Scurrying over next to the already feeding wolfdog, Theo pressed closer without actually touching the serious female. "You seem rather unopinionated. Talking isn't your thing?" The Coywolf glanced toward the shadowed male that Paris spoke too, letting the tiniest, humorous smile brighten her concern arched features. “I think he’s just observant.” Theo whispered out gentle words as she gazed at the enclosed male for a moment before ripping into the torso of the doe, using her small teeth to create incisions in the prey’s side.

Akai stood frozen in place. Aside from the subtle swivel of her ears to listen as the second wolf had approached, she hadn't moved an inch. Her stance was awkward, legs out a bit from her backwards stumble, making her appear almost like a young fawn first finding its hooves. Her eyes, wide as a full moon, were locked on the ground. Two massive black paws stood before her, they looked powerful. Powerful enough to pound down on her and crush her like a twig. The two wolves exchanged a few words, they didn't seem to be acting hostile to each other. Was this their territory? Akai swore her heart would pound so hard it would pop, but she fought the urge to run. She knew the male could easily outpace her, and with the female by his side there was no hope of escape. Her neck would be snapped faster than she could blink. Besides, even if she could outrun them, fear held her to the earth where she stood.

When the brute noticed Sera he seemed the opposite of hostile,"Waiting to see if they all kill each other or perhaps the start of something I'd certainly like to join,", Sera rolled her eyes, " well aren't you quite the gentlemen " she said sarcasm practically dripping off of her words. She let out a small bark of laughter as she watched him remember that there was a pup right by him, his next words made a small soft growl rumble through her throat as she remembered her mother and family, "no, not mine" she said her normally soothing honey like voice going flat and uninterested, "looks scared though, maybe its one of theirs?" she said flicking her tail towards the wolves to indicate that she meant that it maybe belonged to someone from the group. "Although if it was wouldn't they be more careful about watching it ?", she asked more to herself then asking the male. She turned her honey colored gaze back to the male "Seraphina" she said, she didn't wait for a reply before continuing her thought "you planning on going in there ?" she asked, curious, she let her eyes scan over each individual wolf.
A wolf dog it seemed, a coyote? or coyote wolf mix? , two males, a coppery hued she-wolf and some other females one of which seemed fairly young. Acting or no acting ? Should I even go in ? She snapped back to the darker brute and decided since he didn't seem like much of a threat and semi tolerable so far she'd stick by him for a little longer maybe, after all this was the only entertaining thing that has happened in a while. Should she try and help the pup? But how? She rolled her eyes at her irritating thoughts, then she melted her posture into a less dominant one "It's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you" She said in the voice she used to use with her younger siblings when she had to watch over them, but this time her voice was a bit more detached as memories flooded her brain, she glanced at the brute for a split second but not wanting to see a reaction or simply not caring to she kept her gaze on the pup awaiting a reaction.

When addressed, Akai cautiously raised her head to look at the she-wolf. Her appearance was striking familiar, her coat color and eyes.. she looked like her mother. But the similarities stopped there. Her scent didn't carry the same sweet smell, and her voice seemed colder. Though she'd spoken softer to Akai than to the other wolf, there still seemed to a fridgidness in her tone.
Akai let her eyes dart quickly to the male, he was huge! He towered over her like a bear, making Akai feel even smaller than before. The young pup took a hesitant step sideways towards the female, and away from the large brute. Perhaps it was that she resembled her mother, perhaps it was how much more intimidating the male was, but for some reason she just trusted the female a little more. A little.
She turned her head slowly to the she-wolf, though her eyes still darted back and forth to the male, nervous he would move. Possibly make a leap for her throat. She wondered if she would even make a decent sized meal to him, or if he'd eat her up in a few quick bites.
For a moment her eyes met the she-wolfs eyes. She tucked her matted tail and cowered, "I.. I'm sorry.." she whimpered. Her voice sounded funny, even to herself. She hadn't spoken aloud in moons. She studdied the ground, eyes still darting from one wolves paws to the others to make sure no one was moving closer to her.

Indris' grin only turned into a smirk as the female rolled her eyes at his lewd comment. "Well aren't you quite the gentleman." she said sarcastically and the ashen male let out a small chuckle. Indeed he could be quite the charmer if he wanted to, but he figured he'd save the energy for someone he wanted to woo. "Me? Gentle? Haven't heard that one before." he mumbled teasingly down at the female. Besides, the lewdness was just not that big of a deal to him. Everyone was bound to do the deed at some point in their life so why not indulge in a multi-species get together? Sounded pretty fun to him.
"No, not mine," she deadpanned, indicating to the pup. Her voice dropping as a soft growl left her throat. Indris raised an eyebrow, did he just hit a nerve? "Looks scared though, maybe on of theirs?" She said gesturing the group. Indris gave a small glance to them. There were a lot of females and even hybrids, that of which Indris has never even seen before. "Although if it was wouldn't they be more careful about watching it?" Only really one way to find out I suppose. "Seraphina, you plan on going in there?" The huge male scanned the smaller female with violet eyes before flickering back the group. "Indris." was all he replied with a deep yet rugged voice.
It was a moment of silence before the female, now known as Seraphina, crouched down to the pup. Indris raised an eyebrow. He'd never been good with kids and hell knows he'd probably make the worst father and had no paternal instincts. But it seemed the female was doing good enough on her own. "It's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you." she spoke, her voice soft. What a contrast to the one she used with Indris. The pup quickly looked between the adults before scooting closer to the she-wolf. A whimper of "I.. I'm sorry.." left her small being as she stared at the floor.
Indris let an attractive grin plaster his face. "Looks like she likes you more than me," Eh that didn't bother him all to much. "Let's go join the party, eh Seraphina?" came his teasing voice before sending a wink to the smaller female. Quickly he grabbed the pup by the scruff in his jaws, surely enough if the kid was scared before, she would be terrified now. Then again, Indris got a little kick out of making someone fear him. Long legs easily and quickly made it to the group before setting down the cream-pelted pup on the floor.
"Hey, excuse me," he called out, being a few meters infront of them. "Don't suppose the runt is any of yours, is she?" he gave a charming smile, his onyx tail slowly swaying side to side as he stood tall. "Myself and the pretty little lady over there found her." he said, gesturing to Seraphina - who may or may not have followed him. Yeah he was forward and liked to cut the crap. Intrusive, perhaps. His lilac gaze settled on what seemed to be the leader, a she-wolf-dog? Interesting. "Hey Seraphina, if the runt isn't theirs, it's your lucky day! You get a new companion!" he called jokingly over his shoulder, although he had only known her for all of 2 minutes, he somehow thought the little jab may make the female angry with him.

Sera found the brutes reply to her comment a tad amusing but she decided against showing it, she chose to ignore the look she got when her voice went cold after he'd asked if the pup was hers. She noticed how the pup looked at her in a dreamy or far away like gaze, she sighed, but to her surprise the pup took a step towards her, looks like I still have it in me. Her ears perked forward as she heard the pup speak "I.. I'm sorry.." , the pup spoke, "Don't worry about it " Sera said her voice losing a bit of its softness but still she offered the pup a small smile.
"Looks like she likes you more than me," she looked up to see the brute with a wide grin plastered on his face, oh boy "looks like" she said dismissively . His next words caught her a bit by surprised but she kept a calm demeanor "Let's go join the party, eh Seraphina?", after winking he moved forward and grabbed the pup by the scruff and bounded through the brush. Oh great what a genius idea let's just grab the already terrified thing and scare it even more,, the poor thing is probably absolutely terrified right now.
Seraphina hesitated for a second, she looked at her paws which were caked with mud, but besides that she seemed to look as good as she normally did. Here goes nothing, she thought before bounding through the brush after the brute and the pup, speeding up her pace to a slight trot to catch up with the brute, morphing her posture into a more dominant one. "Hey, excuse me, don't suppose the runt is any of yours, is she?" , "well let's just skip the formalities then...I hope I look decent " she muttered to herself, she paused for a second as he spoke again "Myself and the pretty little lady over there found her." , she scoffed at his words, ah isn't he quite the charmer. "Hey Seraphina, if the runt isn't theirs, it's your lucky day! You get a new companion!", she heard the brute whose name she had learned was Indris call over his shoulder. She took a few more steps so now she was by his left side "I think one is enough for now especially since that one is you and you seem like you have the mentality of a pup or act like one anyways " she said in a slightly hushed tone, but not so quiet that if anyone was truly listening it wouldn't be heard, she assumed that at least one wolf would hear what she said but truthfully she didn't care much. She was partially joking but she also partially meant what she had said.
Now that they were closer to the group she got to fully study the wolves but once she did that her gaze landed on what appeared to be a wolf-dog, also the leader of the group. "Hello, well isn't this a lovely group you have here" She said her voice smooth and silky yet slightly dismissive. Two deer, a youngster and a doe, that's what they have. She looked at their kills for a bit but not long enough to raise suspicion. Her eyes once again trailing back to the leader, then turning to the coyote looking wolf who seemed to be the weakest or most unsure of them all. Shifting her weight on her front paws she glanced at the brute she was standing next to and the light colored pup that he'd set down, her stomach twisted a little but she then returned her gaze to the leader and held it there awaiting a response, and not bothering to pay attention to anyone else as much , she already knew how many wolves there were and now all that mattered was what would happen next. She was tempted to sit down and curl her tail around her flank and just seem more relaxed to show that she wasn't very intimidated but she refrained from doing so. I wonder what will happen next.....

Finaly dropped back to the ground, Akai yelped and ran blindly away from the dark colored male, until the world around her came into focus. Her heart stopped, all around her strange wolves looked down at her. She whimpered quietly, turning her head to look for an escape. Her eyes moved from one unfamiliar face to another, until they landed on the pale colored female from the top of the hill, the one who looked like her mother. Her heart pounded and she whimpered again, fear building in her by the second. She loocked eyes with the she-wolf, whose name she still didn't know. She cautiously walked back towards her without saying a word. Then stopped a fox length away to look first nervously towards the dark male from before who was still close by, then to the female again. Her eyes were wide with fear, desperate for comfort of any kind.

Paris had brought order to the almost chaotic situation, and Lucifer was glad. But now looking at their group was a very different sight to when they had first all met, there were many wolves, all with varying personalities, and all with very different ideals. Probably not all of them would stick around, but Lucifer hadn’t thought of leaving anytime soon, for now his was alright, even if it was getting a bit busy, he quite liked the small change in scenery, something different then his usual lone wolf self. Gaze shifted to the two hybrids as they approached the doe, both beginning to take their fair share of the carcass. Lucifer had as well lowered his skull to take a bite, when a voice had gotten his attention.
"You seem rather unopinionated. Talking isn't your thing?"
This was then followed on by Theo, quieter.
“I think he’s just observant.”
But heard nevertheless.
So far, alongside Callie, Lucifer hadn’t mind the company of the two hybrids. He actually found it rather ironic that the two most valuable among the group, had a heritage most wolves hated. One was practically the leader, and the other was a herbalist, and yet they were both deemed necessary. But of course it wasn’t his right to mention such detail, instead he quirked a smile at their words. “Hmm…” He mused on the thought. “I wouldn’t say unopinionated… observant, yes. But more so of choosing when to talk.” He explained, eyes befalling on the two. “But really there was no need. Paris, you handle the situation quite well I would say, don’t ya think Theo?” He peered to the smaller one for agreement before shifting his gaze to look at the both of them. “But if there is any need for me to sit on someone I will be right at you side, don’t you worry.” Lucifer quietly chuckled at the light hearted joke, ears swiveling to the side out of slight embarrassment that he had made the joke in the first place, having been addressing the both of them on his last comment. But his soft spoken words rung true, it hadn’t been long since they’ve all met, and he still couldn’t consider them more than acquaintances, and yet the main group would have to stick closer together if they were to take in this many wolves, a large group meant strength, but more than one person could want that power to lead. Lucifer new that for sure.
His words silently drifted into the air between them, his mouth falling to a close with a smile, eyes instinctively shifted away, and his head lowered to quietly eat his bit of the carcass.
