Peri had turned away from him; that was bad in his mind. She could run away so easily now, leaving him eating her mud. "Fine.. but I doubt you'll find much company with me around," Peri sighed. Chasen leaped to his paws, trotting in a giddy circle around the wolf-dog he was going to refer to as his friend from here on out. "We should find some water," Peri began to move away. He had to say, she was very smart. Catching a mouse, tolerating his company, now wanting to find water, he could revert back to his old attitude towards life around her. However, the silver male refused to fall back into a lavish life of laziness, especially not with the fragile trust between himself and Peri.
He watched her behaviour as she tried to scent water, so he decided to go a different route. It would be difficult to find water by scent in his mind, so he stopped moving completely and flicked his ears around his head. If there was a river or lake nearby, the sound of moving water should be present. He tried to block out the sound of the wind and the sound of Peri's pawsteps and focus in on the sound he knew to be water. It was very faint, but the silver male was pretty sure that it was the sound of water, as opposed to a temperamental wind.
He moved up to where the chestnut wolf-dog had moved to and was going to nudge her side with his nose, but her growl of displeasure warned him that was not the best idea.He gave her a small whine and backed away lowering his head as he took a step back. "I think I heard a lake in the distance. It might give us more water than whatever moss or puddles we could find around here," Chasen suggested to his new companion, wondering what the Queen's thoughts would be.

The male had obviously not yet learned his boundaries, inching far closer than she appreciated. He took her warning well, however, whining in apology and backing away. In her mind, the brute was like a pup still learning right from wrong. At least he didn't appear stupid enough to make the same mistake twice. Surely all wolves weren't this pushy? Or perhaps she should simply learn to get used to the attention. She was some cool new unique thing in their dull world, after all. A little curiosity didn't hurt, she just had lost interest in the canines, or rather her interest in them had been.. redefined. "I think I heard a lake in the distance. It might give us more water than whatever moss or puddles we could find around here," Chasen finally said. Aggravated hues were now dropped to the floor in thought at the lupines words. Did he think she was stupid?? She definitely wasn't looking for some little mud filled puddle to quench her thirst. Disgusting! Although, as she brought her eyes upwards to meet his, prepared to retaliate in some snarky way, Peri realize with a start that this was just a learning experience. While she had been sniffing out water and simply using her eyes, which may have taking a good while to find clues, he had... what had he been doing to find water so easily? Listening, it seemed. Her father taught her good skills, but mainly geared towards pristine hunting and fighting and basic survival skills. She still had a lot to learn.
Her gaze softened slightly, expression still guarded. Paris nodded her head slowly, looking to him to lead the way. Meanwhile, her brown pointed ears listened carefully, trying to test out this method. Sure enough, she could hear the faint but familiar splash of water as tiny waves collided with rocks and other things. Chasen may have already began to walk off, but as soon as Peri pinpointed the sound she would be off, sure to find herself as the leader of their party of two rather than trailing behind. Her reasoning for this was half that she wasn't comfortable with the male, partly because she felt more like a leader-like figure, and mainly because she was intrigued by this new skill she had learned. Her limbs brought her forward in a mild trot, curly tail swaying evenly behind her as she let her ears guide her. In time she had found it, a medium sized lake beaming with life. On the opposite side, Paris noticed that there was a doe and her fawn, older obviously since it was fall. Unfortunately, as soon as she had emerged from the cover of the surrounding trees the pair spotted her movement and took their leave. Not too rushed. They were mocking her! Probably because it would take her a second to get to the side, even at a sprint. Peri scowled to herself, cursing that she had not waited and looked around first. Then it suddenly clicked. She had forgotten her mouse! An irritated growl escaped her muzzle, stepping forward to the water's edge to take a drink. As a salmon tongue lapped up the crystal like liquid, her ears would narrow back, blue eyes glaring at her reflection. Idiot. "I need to hunt again. Are you hungry?" she would sigh as soon as she finished, looking to Chasen. Perhaps her routine like schedule was odd to him, but she knew of nothing else. Hunt, eat, drink, sleep, repeat. The most fun she could experience, that she knew of, was hunting. The adrenaline rush and exercise was a thrill. If Chasen wanted to enjoy anything she did or said, it would be through hunting. And, she thought to herself, two could take down more than one.
OOC: So grumpy! xD @chasen

Her reaction to his suggestion wasn't at all what he was expecting. Her light blues fell to the mud beneath their paws before they were brought back up to his own chocolate optics. An emotion that Chasen could almost label as spite lingered within her gaze. He took a step back. Did she not want his help in finding water? He had thought that was what she was meaning when she said 'we should find water.' However, her gaze softened, and she nodded to him slowly. That was much better! The cheeky male began to trot in the direction of the water he had heard, but stopped relatively quickly. There was only one set of pawsteps in the mud, his own. Peri hadn't followed him yet! The silver male twisted his head back to his wolf-dog companion, watching her caramel ears flicker in the air before they stilled, most likely listening to the sound of the water he told her he heard. It would be extremely rude to simply carry on without her, so until she reached him, he would stay still. And here she came! Her two toned form trotted past him, her unique tail bouncing above her back as she passed him. He sparked back into action, trotting beside the she-wolf so that he was almost in line with her, almost challenging her leadership. He didn't want to simply move behind the she-wolf-dog, he was a Beta's son after all. He was fine with her being the leader, but he wanted to be a close second, not some simply tag along. Whether she liked it or not, this was a partnership, and he was going to add his input and provide security. At last, his suspicions were confirmed as the pair came across a lake, a decently sized one at that. Sidling up beside Peri, he lapped at the water, taking his fill graciously. He would probably not see water for a while, so he was going to make the most of this opportunity. "I need to hunt again. Are you hungry?" Peri inquired. At first he was confused; he had literally just watched her hunt before they set off! He was about to comment about her mouse when he stopped himself. The small grey blob of fur was absent from the lake. "Sure! Are you thinking about the deer that were here before we arrived, Quee...Peri?" Chasen responded, quickly changing the word Queen to Peri; the she-wolf hadn't seemed all that comfortable even with their friendship so why would she let him call her Queen. He would still do it in his head, but unless by some miracle she had reacted well, he wouldn't say it out loud. Not yet at least.

Theodosia
"Don't take chances. Just be."
Theodosia swept her bushy tail around her hind legs, cherry blossom pink eyes gazing warily at the world outside her safe den. Her previous friend had departed which had put a damper on her mood. She should have expected as much, he never assured her that he would stick around forever. The Coywolf felt herself sink deeper in her den as she prepared to sleep. She could faintly hear voices far, far off and her oversized ears spun to listen to them. Were they perhaps friendly? Theo didn't want to stray far from her den, her life was based around that mossy hole, but the thought of company was all too tempting. Slowly lifting herself from the cushioned floor of her den, the Coywolf crawled from her den. Her nose twitched as she tried to locate a scent but the wind was refused to help her and she ended up having to rely on her ears to find the wolves. Her paw steps were nearly silent which bothered her some as she worried about what they would think of her. Oh well. There was nothing much she could do about it.
Approaching what seemed like a pair, male and female by their voices, Theo slowed. She watched them carefully, hopefully before they spotted or smelled her. One was beautifully painted with red and white and finished with icy eyes. The other was also rather fine looking, a silvery male. Theodosia inhaled, her breathing shallow with anxiety before she pushed forward to face the two wolves. God, they were like giants. The Coywolf felt herself shrink back only slightly when she realized how easily they could slaughter her if they mistook her for a full-blood coyote. But one didn't quite seem full wolf either. "Pardon me for interrupting. I just heard your voices and was wondering if I could accompany you for a little while." She didn't meet their gaze fully but placed her gentle smile upon her lips in hope that they wouldn't show her aggression.

It'd been but a minute's pause, a moment, a heartbeat. He'd awaited his response with a wonderful patience, thumping a thick, oaken tail gently atop the ground to completely set the scene. Innocent, unassuming, innocuous enough to appear genuine. The gentle, soft-hearted ditz was his favorite persona - while at times, quite tedious - the curling, slow cusp of horror made his miseries all the more worth it. Prince Charming, however, failed to provide the proper response. The thickly worded thanks, the stuttering, barely in belief introductions had escaped him somehow. Of course, the pathetic scrap had surely heard, and yet, as he spoke, a torn half ear hardly flicked in his direction as he pitched his proposal. What absolutely wonderfully vacant eyes beheld him, the white and lavender making lovely struggles to register the forms they saw before them, barely crafting the distinguishment of their own species. Oh, how the mighty fall, the oaken male thought, unable to hide a hint of his sudden eagerness, his anticipations, his energy a moment longer. The wolf before him marked little more then a skeleton with skin loosely stretched over horribly thin hide, practically reeking of decay, infection, death. Once the pinnacle of power, he lay stricken in the prime of his own rule, a pathetic animal desperately clinging to the last vestiges of its own sanity. It was perfect.
"Pitiful." He murmured, a wavering, thin wisp of a smile cracking his contorted facade. The alabaster male arched his weary head with extreme prejudice, an expression akin to fear suddenly filling previously empty, pale eyes, aware enough to grasp the sense that something had gone horribly wrong. Hurriedly, the prince took a trembling, rushed step backwards, stumbling over his own paws as he loosed a low, whimpering whine. A desperate attempt to show he wouldn't harm either of the ornery pair, as if he could in his current pathetic condition. He rose slowly, carefully savoring the scene before him - the terrified, quivering tremble, alabaster fur softly fluffed in fear, the half-glazed, hopeless stare - all from a wolf once as powerful as he. " A shame, actually." The oaken male strode closer, forcing the former to flatten against the pine, all chances of escape diminished within mere seconds, moments. "Pinnacle of power, reduced to scrap," he whispered, his tone soft, taunting. "Ah, the lord is wonderful indeed!" A sudden fervor hitched onto his words, his eyes alight with a new found surge of energy. "Given as a lamb led to slaughter!"
In a single fluid swift movement, he lunged forwards, pinning his pitiful target with cruelly pointed claws, ripping the tiniest of tears from a finely sharpened point. Desperation had gripped the alabaster beauty with sudden, overwhelming severity, clunky paws grappling pitifully in a desperate attempt to slightly tear the skin above. Large hind limbs battered his underside in a hazy, wavering hope of knocking off the oaken male and making a dash for his freedom- a hope that he'd every intention of dashing beneath him- as he shoved him against the bark, tightening his grip in order to ensure a sturdy, firm hold. A sacrifice was something too sacred, too rare to simply tear limb from limb. Such a sacred opportunity must be treated with reverence, without making a mark on the corpse. With a wonderful delight, he took his neck between his jaws and pressed with a lovely, soft lightness, careful not to pierce the paper-thin skin. Every balmy, quivering breath pulsed beneath opened, dripping jaws, lingering a moment at his tongue. Deliberately, he increased the pressure with pointed slowness, quietly savoring how the wolf's breath had begun to jam within its windpipe, unable to force its finicky air past its passageway. Wheezing gasps broke from his matted, filthy maw, desperate to catch the haziest, slightest hint of breath, often quickening in length and pace. Heavily, sides heaved with remarkable force, the smallest, tiniest sound now unable to break from his maw. Limbs began to beat with soft, wavering pace as exhaustion set in, his gasps quietly growing more and more infrequent. Soft, choking sounds broke from his voice, beautiful white and lavender eyes rolling back within his wary head-
Dead, and without a mark to the corpse to boot. A wolf''s flesh was a rare, succulent luxury - this, as malnourished as it was, would sate the pair for days. "Marusya, my love," he muttered, carefully separating his soft alabaster pelt from the corpse. "Eat your fill, but leave the pelt untouched. For our lord will grant wonderful things though his flesh, he whispered, his tone gentle, loving. "His fur."

In time, her desire to love a male was replaced by her undying motherly love for her children. Valentino had proved himself helpful through her birth and for some time after, but just as he had gained her full trust he suddenly vanished, never returning after declaring he would hunt for her. The thought had crossed her mind several times, if Val would be a good substitute father to her pups. She was only just growing to develope feelings for the male, so his sudden leave was frustrating but not the end of the world for her. Khloie's responsibilities had grown immensely since the birth, the tasks of feeding her two boys and hunting for herself haunting her days. They were always hungry, and in the short time that they decided to play or nap, Khloie was still working to keep herself in shape. Her own sleep schedule had been limited to only night hours, and of course she always had to wake up incredibly early to do something more. Caring for Simon and Azrath alone was manageable, but barely. Khloie couldn't always complain though. In the month that had passed she learned that Azrath was like a leech, always at her side, while Simon proved to be a troublemaker and wandering off far too often. She liked to assume that she taught her boys to stay in their tiny family den while she was away, but she had a feeling that Simon didn't listen. He never liked to listen. Khloie sighed to herself through a mouthful of squirrel fur, preparing herself for an abundance of questions from Azrath as she came into eyesight of the den. She could just imagine the two popping their little heads out with tails wagging, thrilled to find that their mother had returned. The she-wolf smiled to herself as she dropped the squirrel near the entrance, nose vaguely smelling for the fresh scent of the boys. " Mommy's here. You guys can come out now," she chirped lovingly, peeking her head into the den while half expecting to be bombarded with tiny bodies.

Marusya flickered ears as she watched her lover do the work. Her tiny form stood behind his massive one, her eyes watching intently to the alabaster's reactions. Of course her small, timid appearance was easily deduced to being shy, and not about the upcoming sacrifice. As the two went about their exchanges, she saw the intense realization cross the poor wolf's face. The tides changed and in a few moments, the other knew what was to come.
Opening her maw, she clicked her tongue in disapproval as the other tried to inch away in fear. As if he could escape. In moments Koga had the wolf's neck, the body shook and flailed but her mate was stronger than the frail, poor excuse for a wolf. Flickering her eyes she watched in amusement as the white fur was skinned from the body, leaving a mess. Moving forward, she did not need to be told twice about feeding.
She was not a cannibal before she met Koga, but after one taste of the food she was in love. Wolf had become her favorite meal, a specialty and dessert for her. Something about the way the muscles chewed between her molars and the sound of the tendons being torn was something different from prey. Just the taste alone was heaven for her. She savored the first few bites, soft hums escaping her maw. Eyes closed or half lidded as she munched away.
Her body was hungrier than usual, probably due to the upcoming prophecy. Stopping mid chew she tried to push those thoughts away. Soft whines escaped but she quickly gained control. Finishing her mouth full, she stood and moved towards her lover. Nuzzling against his chest, she hummed happily, eyes closed in delight. "While not the best, the meat was still sweet," she chirped into his fur, rubbing her snout about his chest and side.
As he began to move on, she followed, a lighter pep in her step after a beautiful meal.

Valentino
Valentino had left to get food for Khloie, but along the way he had fallen down a hill and reopened a wound from his earlier battle that month. He didn't want to return to her empty handed and injured all over again, so he had tried to copy what she had done. He had chewed up some leaves and laid it across his wound to the best of his ability and began hunting again. A week past and he was still empty handed, his wound had began to grow irritated and sore.
He made up his mind to return to her empty handed. Moving back through the trees, he got a point where her scent picked up. A smile flickered over his face at the thought of seeing her again. Admittedly he had grown fond of her. So much that she replaced his childhood love. He hoped she wouldn't be too upset with him and that she would forgive him. Continuing putting on paw in front of the other, he finally reached the clearing where she was.
"Khloie," he started, Val's voice meak and shy, his head and tail lowered, eyes averted from her own. "I'm sorry for being gone so long but I didn't want to return empty handed," he spoke softly, his voice shaking slightly. He moved a few yards away and laid down, eyes looking over the growing boys. He shouldn't have returned empty handed. "I fell and opened up the chest wound," he explained, his eyes finally meeting her own, lifting his chin so the chest wound was visible. It look swollen and bright red, obviously irritated and on the verge of infection. "I'm really sorry, please forgive me Khlo," he asked, using his pet-name for her.

Before the wolf-dog could answer his question, a new form entered the scene. At first, the silver male's hackles bristled as he registered that the form was not wolf, but coyote. However, once her scent hit his nose, they lowered slightly. It had a similar relationship as Peri's scent, part wolf, part coyote. "Pardon me for interrupting. I just heard your voices and was wondering if I could accompany you for a little while," her petite frame started conversation. Chocolate eyes flicked to Peri. He had already warmed up to the idea of the unnamed coywolf following along, but she had just barely allowed him to follow her, and she may not be so accepting.
"I wouldn't mind, to be honest, but you'll have to wait for approval from my friend here," Chasen responded, keeping his voice low. He moved his head in a gentle sweeping motion towards the beautiful wolf-dog near him simply to emphasize. Moving his focus away, the grey male checked on the scene around him, checking to see if perhaps the deer had returned, or if there was any other wildlife in the area that they could hunt once the coywolf was dealt with.

"Sure! Are you thinking about the deer that were here before we arrived, Quee...Peri?"
Quee? The lupines ears perked at his inquiry, thoughts lingering on what the hell quee meant. Queer? He shouldn't dare say that, but that word didn't fit into the space well anyways. Peri contemplated for a moment, curious hues moving towards Chasen, mouth opening for a moment before she was interrupted. It looks like she wouldn't be solving the mystery for now. The oddly colored she-wolf brought her eyes upon one similar. No, definitely not a wolf-dog, but it had an odd coloring compared to a wolf. Reddish. Chasen seemed to immediately register that this was not a wolf, taking a rather defensive stance that had her mind boggled slightly. Why stand his ground against a coyote? One alone wouldn't be stupid enough to approach two big wolves without there being a catch. And, that catch was that this ordinary coyote was instead half wolf. How odd. Right around the time her companion calmed, Peri would cock her head curiously, never in her life meeting another half wolf. She was so small! Paris couldn't possible bare standing so short next to her canine relatives, and all the while knowing she was somehow related to them. At least she had inherited her father's height, resembling a wolf in almost every aspect except her fur; of course what created first impressions.
"Pardon me for interrupting. I just heard your voices and was wondering if I could accompany you for a little while," came her small voice, perfectly paired with her size. The coywolf literally resembled a pup in her mind, but what would be quite vexing is if she acted like a childish pup too. So far, though, she seemed alright. Chasen answered first, expressing his interest in her but waiting for Peri's input. He was staying aware of her opinion, good. Paris couldn't help herself, though. The she-wolf naturally stood slightly dominantly, by nature feeling like she was above the tiny hybrid for a reason she couldn't fathom - besides the fact that she could beat her in battle with no sweat. Peri took a few steps forward, lowering her head as she sniffed the small figure with curiosity. She quickly realized, though, that she was being a little pushy herself. "Are you hungry? 3 wolves is better than one during a hunt." she stated, her way of saying 'you're in' without actually implying it. While she waited for a reply, Paris would take a step back in order to respect the female's personal space, glancing towards Chasen with a mischievous gaze, almost unreadable. A wolf, a wolf-dog, and a coywolf. A rather odd team indeed. But they would all survive better in numbers, and though she didn't like to admit it, Chasen was the base of this forming group.

Theodosia "The Doll Was Perfect, A Dress Of Silk And Lace, Skin Of Blushing Porcelain And Eyes Of Jade Glass."
Despite a previous showing of aggression, the warm gray male seemed to relax and ease up in her presence almost immediately. Why had he shown her aggression anyways? Of course, Theo was not oblivious to her heritage but a creature as small as herself wouldn't pose as a threat to anything but a fly. At this thought the small canine shuddered. Who ever thought that snapping at flies was a good idea? It was a waste of energy and time along with the horrible possibility that one might catch the fly and have it buzz inside their mouth. Then they'd have to spite it out or chew it or swallow it whole or... Theo shuddered a second time and wiped her brain of the awful thoughts. She was getting side-tracked during a meeting, how rude of herself. Placing her mind and eyes on the pair of wolves, she watched the two Lupines carefully, her coyote-like face shy but holding the tiniest of hopeful smiles. The female seemed to be studying her thoughtfully while the male prepared to speak.
"I wouldn't mind, to be honest, but you'll have to wait for approval from my friend here," The small Coywolf shot him a grateful smile before turning worried eyes to the gigantic female. To any other wolf she probably looked normal but to a tiny halfbreed the pretty female seemed huge. It didn't help when she held herself tall and dominantly, only making Theo feel smaller than she usually did around wolves. She instinctively pulled her ears back and tucked her tall, politely obliging to do as the female probably wished. Standing still, the small Coywolf watched the wolf-dog move forward. She didn't look aggressive but that didn't mean that she would tolerate the little canine's presence. She reached her muzzle forward to quizzically sniff at Theo who continued to stay stock-still to allow the female to grow comfortable with her, however she kept in her mind the readiness to bolt at any threat the wolf might show her. It seemed the female recognized she was being a little nosy quickly enough though and she took a few steps back.
"Are you hungry? 3 wolves is better than one during a hunt." Theodosia could read the invitation in the wolf-dog's words and smiled lightly, her face brightened with happiness. She was accepted in more than one way. Into the group along with being called a wolf. The female probably didn't mean it like that but that was how Theo was taking it. She was something more than a halfbreed in this group and that meant so much to her, despite her love for her coyote heritage as well as her wolf heritage.
She smiled softly and nodded her head. "I wouldn't mind a bite to eat. I have to say though, I'm a bit of an amateur when it comes to hunting larger prey." There. That wasn't so hard now. Theo swallowed and widened her smile, trying to give her fluffy tail a bit of a sway. "I'm Theodosia or Theo. It's a pleasure to meet you both."

Chocolate eyes watched worried as his companion approached the teensie coywolf. Was she going to attack? Whisper something perhaps? "Are you hungry? 3 wolves is better than one during a hunt," he inquired after what was seemingly just a sniff. A bright grin broke out onto Chasen's handsome features. He was a little hurt that the coywolf was able to earn Peri's affection much easier than he had, but it wasn't a serious hurt. More of something to bug her about later. His eyes locked with her amazing gaze, but he couldn't read what his Queen was trying to tell him with her eyes. It seemed to be nothing!
"I wouldn't mind a bite to eat. I have to say though, I'm a bit of an amateur when it comes to hunting larger prey. I'm Theodosia or Theo. It's a pleasure to meet you both," Theo introduced herself. She seemed young, much younger than himself. Though he found beauty in almost every she-wolf-dog-coyote he had encountered, he could see himself calling Theo one of his Queens. She seemed like more of a younger sister to the silver male.
"Hi Theo! The name's Chasen. It's fine about the hunting thing, there's always an opportunity to learn," he smiled at the smaller female, his tail wafting easily behind him. Occasionally, he would flick it over to Peri, hitting her tail or hind legs. After a few seconds of silence had hung in the air (perhaps after Peri had introduced herself), Chasen would lock his warm stare onto Peri's icy blues and ask, "Is there anything you'd like to hunt, Miss Peri?" He would keep his gaze on Peri's delightfully unique features. He wasn't going to take his gaze off her eyes until she reacted somehow. Besides, getting lost in her frozen blues wasn't so bad.

Quite a lot of time had passed really since Lucifer had seen a friendly face. Head drooped low as his body stalked the silent forest. The male had moved on not too long ago, said his goodbyes to Beau and Streak, unable to remain hopeful and happy when what he truly loved was gone. He wasn’t about to burden them with his own inner depression. The wolf had noted how thin he had gotten over the past couple of weeks, though not scrawny, his mass had been slowly shrinking, bones made prominent as muscle and fat began to wither away. He did what he could to stay in shape, but being on your own wasn’t all that nice.
His large stride maneuvered him throughout this new terrain he had just encountered. The soil was thick and mush, paws sloshing in the ground beneath his weight as he padded deeper. Eyes trained to the ground until sounds and voices hit his ears.
He stopped in place. Head lifted high to look over the brush, ears trying to pin point the location as they swiveled left and right. Nostrils inhaling the whimsical scent that forever contrasted against the rusty smells of the earth surrounding them. Lucifer changed direction ever so quick, moving forward with a trot now filled with purpose, a march that moved him along towards them.
Nearing the group he would over hear the conversation. ‘A hunt...’ It would be perfect, he would at least get the chance to fill his tummy once more. He would be rather rusty but he had the skill. He needed this.
“I apologize for my intrusion, but would a fourth wolf provide more help to your hunt?”
Words were slow, gentle, and deep in tone as he asked oh so politely. Eyes trained on the group as paws stepped out from the bushes, a slow cautious walk that stopped where he felt was right. His gazed first landing on the she-wolf which seemed to be the most out of the ordinary, a strange coloration of browns and whites, nothing like anything he’s ever seen. It was only a momentary glance before his eyes flickered to the rest of them. Lucifer would have liked to appeared relaxed. Giving a slow wag of his tail and a leveled head. But looking into his eyes one could tell he was rather worried, socially he was no expert.

Callie padded into the territory her mind elsewhere as her paws steadily hit the ground. Suddenly she became aware of how thirsty she was and she paused and listened to her surroundings trying to see if she could hear anything relatively similar to the sound of water dripping in a cave or waves splashing. She heard the gentle splashes of small waves hitting a shoreline. But just as she picked up the sound of the water she soon heard voices ..seemingly four of them. Callie sighed annoyed with the fact that she might run into other wolves after being alone for so long she had begun to like the solitary life. Nonetheless she padded on weaving herself around trees and trudging through the brown mud as it squelched between her toes and under her paws. Not too long after hearing the voices and water she arrived at the water strangely enough she didn't see any other wolves although she was sure she had heard voices. She drank until her stomach was full and then sniffed the air hoping to catch their scents, which she did. - I'm bored so why not ?- she thought to herself as she padded around the water in the direction of the wolves soon seeing a small coyote looking female, a gray male who for some reason she could already tell might bother her , a darker male , and what appeared to be the leader of the group, an - what an odd group- . She padded up to them her ears perked up and spoke "Hello,is it okay if I tag along with this little gathering ?" her voice smooth and calm. Her posture was relaxed but she kept her ears perked up curious to see what kind of a reaction that would get but not looking for a fight she decided not to push limits too much. She turned her attention back to the wolves scanning their facial expressions, body language and movements trying to see if any of them could possibly be intimidated by her, she turned her gaze to the small coyote colored female and looked her in the eyes curiously. Trying to figure out what such a creature would be doing with this group then she turned her gaze to the other female who she noticed seemed to not be fully wolf either -this group gets stranger and stranger- amused by this fact the female studied the she wolfs features and decided to guess since she didn't look like a coyote she was most likely a wolf dog. Also appearing to be the leader of the group, Callie sat down and curled her tail around her side letting herself appear to be relaxed, doubting anyone would try and attack her. She waited for a reply deciding to ignore the dark male and the lighter gray hued one as well. OOC: I hope its okay I dropped her in here @lucifer @paris @chasen @theodosia

The half wolfs retaliated with a warm smile, something Peri could only relate to whenever she had accomplished something perfectly upon her father's judgement. Now, she couldn't quite share such a warm feeling when being accepted into a group of wolves. In fact, through the scary sleepless nights full of running from the half of her genes, Paris had never joined a group. It seemed now that she had merely formed her own. Chasen came to her and she allowed him to follow, and then on came the coywolf. Perhaps she should have assumed this was how it would go, considering she would never willingly follow another group leader. The word follow practically felt like bile in her mouth.
The pretty coywolf again opened her maw, explaining that she could go for food, but she was not the best at hunting. Hmm. Well, it would be a hindrance, but they could make it work. Wolves were always about being a team, right? Unlike her dog half that liked to follow their owners around with a salmon tongue lolling out their mouth; pure joy. Peri stifled a shudder at the thought, knowing well that this was an example of her mother. "I'm Theodosia or Theo. It's a pleasure to meet you both." she continued. Paris nodded, memorizing the name in her head. "Hi Theo! The name's Chasen. It's fine about the hunting thing, there's always an opportunity to learn," came Chasen's normal cheerful voice. " And I -" she was suddenly cut short, a shadowy brown mass emerging from the tree's. Paris instantly resumed a dominant, threatening position as the male came closer, his jaw opening to speak. “I apologize for my intrusion, but would a fourth wolf provide more help to your hunt?" he said slowly, his gentle but almost judging gaze shifting to her first. Just a glance, but Peri automatically read his curiosity. Too much could be dangerous, although he appeared to only casually look at the others. There was also worry in his eyes, hidden mostly by his will, probably, to not show it.
Yet another face appeared, the youngest, it seemed, and a bit less of a threat to Peri. Still, this new she-wolf had only appeared moments after the first male. Was this an ambush? A anxious ear flicked back against her skull, unsure about all the attention their group was getting. A hunt of two had suddenly turned into a hunt of 5, and the majority were now full wolves. Normally, Paris would have taken a step back, preparing to flee once again before her husky-like pelt was ripped to shreds, but now it seemed she couldn't bring herself to look so weak. This didn't appear like an ambush, otherwise she could have detected at least some sort of shady hint overlaying the whole scene. If she wanted to play leader, she would have to act more like one and stop being so mouse brained. After casting a wary glance toward Chasen, Peri would nod towards the newbys. " I am Paris," a brief pause lead her to the realization that she had only provided Chasen with her nick name. Oh well. " You are all welcome to join our hunt. Given our numbers now, it would be safe to assume that we could, with little trouble, take down a deer." she would state fluently, trying to hold her own infront of the many faces. Silently, Paris would lower her cranium to the ground, quickly finding the fading scent of the mother and fawn she and Chasen had spotted. The pair would be sadly mistaken if they thought running away could help them now. " Me and Chasen," Peri flicked her tail towards the male incase anyone didn't know who he was. " - spotted a doe and an older fawn across the lake earlier. It might be a little trek, but their scent is still fresh. We could split into three and a pair, the pair going for the fawn as the others take down the doe. Otherwise we could only go for the mother, but the fawn is bound to die anyways." The she-wolf paused, looking to Chasen and the others in case they had anything to say.
"What are your names?"
