Dread watched this exchange from behind the slightly swaying trees, his glimmering eyes fixed on Fleur. He tried to stay as hidden as possible but this proved to be very challenging for him since his dark coat was very noticeable. These were Sommus wolves for sure, Dread thought, his ears perking up. He had come to these grounds to hunt since there was not much prey left near his den he had to take the long journey to get to the Sommus pack stream, where he was hoping to at least kill some small game. His anger started to rise as he thought about how long he would have to wait for the Sommus pack wolves to leave. Dread was a very impatient wolf and hated waiting, thoughts raced through his head of how he would jump out and attack the two wolves, but he knew this was a terrible idea and he stayed put as he watched silently. But his temper was rising rapidly and all of a sudden a loud growl escaped his jaws and he froze in shock, his paws refusing to move. Oh crap, he thought his eyes widening.

O C E A N general of somnus
His mind spent the trek time clearing itself, avoiding all things relative to the recently deceased. Everything had already passed through his mind in a muddled mass of melancholy mayhem by the time he arrived to the stream; the ruthless prevailing of his self-fulfilled prophecy--ever consistent auguries of death and loss; all sad things that are overrated for a rusted-over brute with crumbling sores of devastating worldliness crevicing his very feet.
Finally. A distraction, he thought. The growl was a give-away, but Ocean could smell a rogue from afar. He found the agitated male somewhere in the distance, and with careless but structured authority, he made his way to the dog, who was standing there omitting a hazardous deal of petulance, tearing into Ocean's past as an ill-tempered brute with a great understanding of respect but lack of ability to execute it. Ocean knew immediately that this wouldn't be a pleasant encounter.
"If there's no good reason for you to be trespassing, please turn your sad little pads around and keep walking" is what Ocean wish he had said to the rogue. In an effort, he opened his maw to do so, but all that came from his chords was a downcast tune of a growl. Francesca was stuck in his throat still, emerging from the pits of his body. A quiet process of mental alleviation wasn't enough to get her out of his system--perhaps nothing was.
"What," is what he actually said.

| | The white she-wolf was listening to what Fleur said, offering a smile to the other white female. Pure lavender eyes were a little more relieved than they had been. It seemed that having someone to just talk too lifted the weight on one's shoulders just a little. Sure, she could have probably talked to Azaelia about it or something, but she hadn't thought to bring up such a thing when the Alphess herself seemed troubled. As she was going to reply to Fleur, she heard the growl of another wolf, something that meant aggression. The small white she-wolf brought herself to a standing position, looking towards Fleur and signaling her to be on guard. Violet wasn't sure what this threat was, but this had been how the coywolf struck Somnus territory. Giving a small glance back to Fleur, Violet took a few cautious steps forward, but a familiar hulking mass seemed to be there as well. She could hear the faint voice of Ocean, a little rush of relief running through her as she realized it was her old friend.
She wasn't aware of what had happened in the commons, so she would not know that the male was grieving over his lost friend-almost lover. She honestly was just happy that he was there, and she wouldn't have to fend for herself. Of course, she had Fleur there to back her up, but if the male were to have gotten a surprise upon the female's, who knew what could have happened. Violet wasn't that good of a fighter. Sure, she had some training and she had trained Luke at one point how to defend himself, but that was all she really was capable of. She wasn't a strong fighter like Ocean. Of course, the only wolf that matched Ocean's strength would probably be Draco, and even then, Draco was still probably not up to par with the massive black furball General. Bringing herself to stand close to Ocean, she held a stance of authority, looking towards the male rogue in hopes he would answer Ocean's question, she hadn't heard the questions, just simply recognized the familiar voice. So, she would simply wait for the rogue to answer whatever Ocean had asked, and see where it led the conversation. | |

Dread was stricken with terror inside yet he showed no weakness on the outside, he emitted a short growl and replied with "I am here to hunt and if you let me be nobody will get hurt" he said, his voice cracking with a sudden surge of terror. Dread readied his claws in preparation for a fight, he did not want to battle with the huge wolf but he hoped it wouldn't come to that. He looked of to Fleur and decided to ram into her first and to threaten the massive wolf that he would kill her if he didn't let him hunt. That would of course only happen if the massive wolf would not let him hunt. Dread repeated the sentence he had said before with a little more confidence this time in his voice. You better let me hunt, Dread thought growling again.

Letting you know now that this post is really confusing and should probably be editted to be more coherent I can't really understand, considering there are currently two white wolves; Violet and Fleur in the clearing. Also, wolves do not have sheathed claws, wolves claws are like a dogs and are dull and stay out all the time, so you'll need to fix that :3

Before Fleur could receive an answer from the Beta a sudden growled had caused her to suddenly jerk fearfully. Eyes befalling on Violet who clearly heard it too. The fluffy female would fumble to a stand, hurriedly trotting behind Violet. Eyes wary and alert, head jerking from left to right.
Fleur did not like this. Not one bit.
They hastily came across two wolves nearby, Ocean who she was very familiar with, and a rogue she was not. The dark pigmented male demanding to be allowed to hunt here, his angered voice sending a shrill of fear through the female. But now was not the time to be afraid she reminded herself, she was a pack wolf, no longer a rogue. The confirmation of her place within her pack giving just the littlest boost of confidence needed to lift her head to a higher standard than that it was earlier. Though her legs remained shaky in worry of the outcome of this encounter.

Ocean was indifferent to the rogue's threats. If it weren't for the weight of recent events pushing down and restraining every ounce of amusement and happiness in Ocean's body and mind, he would have laughed. And if it weren't for the numb sensation of sorrow paralyzing his bones, he would have engaged in a three-second endeavor to snap the wolf's neck.
"Check your surroundings," he dared as he gestured to the mass of his own body. Not only was the rogue pitting himself against a brute who could kill him in his sleep, he was pitting himself against two other full-grown pack wolves who, for all the male knew, were just as experienced as Ocean or any other pack wolf would be.
Without another second of stillness, Ocean walked himself forward and, with the force of his shoulder, pushed the male away from Fleur towards the borders. "The only one getting hurt will be you if you don't turn around." The massive black figure rammed himself forward in a quick, threatening jerk towards the rogue. "Don't make us force you."

Dread snarled at Ocean when he pushed him away but otherwise made no other sound or movement while Ocean gave his speech. Dread hated the wolf more than anybody he had ever met and imagined himself tearing the throat out of the other wolf but quickly dismissed the idea with a shake of his head. He had fought much bigger wolves before and he probably could have killed the black wolf then and there but with three wolves he wouldn't even have a chance at winning. He stared angrily at the black wolf and narrowed his eyes, fury boiling inside of him. His brain told him to turn back now and run as fast as possible away from the wolves, but he was too stubborn. He hadn't eaten in days and he was so desperate for food he would have killed anybody that was standing between him and a meal. Dread was of ocurse slightly intimidated by the three wolves but he tried not show, for fear of triggering an aggressive response from the black wolf. "I will kill you if you stand between me and food," stated Dread, his eyes narrowing even more. "I don't care how strong or powerful you are or even what pack your part of I need food, so I'm warning you, step away and leave me be now or die," said Dread a little more confidently and convincingly then before.

One thing was certain: this dog wasn't going to leave the territory without some serious scarring. Ocean deducted the body in front of him. He had clearly been famished for days--he was scrawny because of this, deficient in nutrients and poor in health. He was delirious if he really thought he was in any shape to successfully take on Ocean, or any other pack wolf in fact. This suggested he would show poor judgement in battle and would lack any combatant sense. Third, he was smaller and lighter than Ocean naturally. If he had nutrients in his body, Ocean would still frame a mountain to him. Ocean had the upper hand in all ways.
The thought of granting the rogue's wish crossed his mind. The wolf probably weighed about a quarter of Ocean's near 200lbs. He would either die from the wounds Ocean would bear upon him if not by accident during the quarrel, or he would head back to the rogue lands and get mauled by something (which was, frankly, anything) bigger than him, and wouldn't be able to take down anything larger than a weasel every couple days. The dog was doomed to die. Would it be the right thing to let him share a meal at the territory, or at least to let him catch a fat one at the lake? Or would it be right to teach him a lesson? Ocean didn't know up from down these days.
He sent a warning bite to the rogue's neck. His teeth grasped onto the thin layer of fat surrounding another thin layer of muscle. Ocean would give the wolf what he was really asking for, but didn't intent to kill him or give him a death sentence by breaking any bones. "I'll go easy on you, kid," he said afterwards, backing off for a few more moments to give the rogue time to leave if he finally understood his errors.
He dashed forward and rammed into him, knocking over the sad sack of a mere couple of pounds to the grassy floor. The brute stood over him with his tail in the air, teeth bearing and dripping saliva onto the dog's face. His jaws aimed for the rogue's upper neck, just where it met his little jaw. Once grasped, he shook the mass around violently to throw off the opponent's perception, and to piss him off. His front claw, the left one, was piercing into the rogue's chest while his hind legs were planted firmly into the undergrowth to keep him solid and steady. The rogue would find it impossible to get Ocean off of him through mere force. Maybe Ocean would let him catch a snack if he handled himself respectably in a fight.

Dread didn't even have time to react before he felt the massive black wolf standing over him with his left claw in his chest. Dread quickly calculated his opponent's position and stance and chose to sink his claws into the wolve's leg with a loud shout of fury. If the black wolves claw released Dread then went on to attempt to push off Ocean off of him. If the black wolves claw did not release Dread then proceeded to try push him off of him with sheer force which he knew wouldn't work but any other move could have resulted in a counter or dodge by the massive wolf. Dread couldn't show weakness though and he would try to fight till the very end even if it meant dying on this land in a pool of blood.

The wolf shouted beneath Ocean's grasp, and the massive abomination felt the rogue pushing onto Ocean's underside in an attempt to remove him. Although he didn't have enough weight and strength on Ocean, the brutish general backed off. Too much blood had been spilled on this territory to let another body add to the pile. Ocean wasn't seeking a kill today.
"I'm getting too tired for this," he said to the rogue after having removed himself from him. He stood only about two feet from the dog. "You can leave at any time."
In a few moments, Ocean bolted forward and forcefully attempted to grab the rogue's neck-side, the force of his motion likely pushing him backwards. His claw reached up to claw at the wolf's backside, near the flank where the skin was easier to break.

Dread felt the massive wolf get off of him when he tried to push him off and for a second thought he had succeeded and angrily leaped up to attack the wolf, when he saw that the wolf was just standing there. "I'm getting too tired for this,", "You can leave at any time", the wolf stated. Before Dread could even respond though Dread felt the wolf trying to grab his neck. He attempted to dodge the wolf's neck-side attack by simply ducking. He was slightly pushed back by the massive blackwolf but not enought force was applied to stun him. He saw the wolf's claw swinging towards his backside and quickly tried to duck out of the way of the wolve's claw.

The rogue moved its neck out of the way, Ocean's jaws missing only by a few inches. Because of his height and advantageous position above the smaller male, the attempt to avoid Ocean's swinging claw wouldn't have been effective no matter how he moved. Ocean's claw landed on the opponent's side, sliding down harshly and quickly to form a fresh tear in his shoulder. Ocean snapped his jaws towards the wolf several times, inching closer to corner him into the outskirts. There was no more time for this. Ocean had places to be.
"Leave. Now." He snarled, snapping his jaws forward one more time. One last time.

Dread was in no mood to fight anymore and heeded Ocean's warning, snarling at the black wolf and then narrowing his eyes while trotting away from the scene. "I will be back!" he shouted over his shoulder, snarling and smiling maliciously as he kept on walking away into the woods. He knew he probably wouldn't come though due to the fact that he definetly did not want to get ripped to shreds by that wolf's claws. I should probably go to Noctis pack territory to go get some food or I will surely starve and just be a corpse blending in with the surrounding forest.

| | Violet watched the ordeal with little interest, wondering why exactly this wolf was still dumb enough to challenge Ocean. Could he not see that the hulking mass was too much for him to be able to fight against? And the wolf in front of them was too small to be able to even use force against Ocean, which is what he needed. Listening to the wolf say that he would be back, she gave a small shake of her head, knowing full well that if that rogue wanted to survive, he would know not to come meddle in pack territories again. But who knew? This wolf seemed like he thought he was on top of everything, so maybe he would be able to pull it off, but in the end, he probably would end up dying trespassing on the wrong wolf's territory.
Looking towards Ocean with glowing lavender eyes, she gave a kind smile. "Thank you, Ocean. Do you have any wounds that need to be seen?" She asked, her voice like honey, dripping with sweetness. She didn't know what Ocean was going through, as she had been hear talking with Fleur for what seemed like forever. The other white fluffy female was extremely nice, and the small bonding session they had was well needed. She just hoped that maybe her and Azaelia could do that sometime as well. Azaelia really never had time to relax after becoming Alpha. Nor did she ever try to relax before she became Alpha. Azaelia seemed like all work and no play, and she really needed something in her life to take the edge away. | OOC: General Ocean @fleur @dread Hey dread make sure to post an exit thing to let others know |
