Fawn paws drew him forth gracefully, rounding a tree before identifying the huge bush that covered his den. If wolves weren't smart and didn't have a keen sense of smell, no one would know he lived under this bush. Katsumi looked to Breezy, making sure she had followed him. The brute motioned for her to wait outside with a flick of his bushy tail before crawling into the bush and suddenly disappearing, the hole to his den right underneath the branches of the plant. The brute suppressed an agitated growl ash the branches grabbed at his bleeding wounds, a sharp wave of pain itching at his back. Once inside, his eyes adjusted for a second to the darkness before pinpointing on his supply of poppy seeds in a corner. Katsu willingly lapped up three for himself, hoping they would set in soon. He then carefully carried two more out of his den between his teeth. He was thankful to find Breezy had not left, as well as the white pup he hadn't caught name of. " I've got the sorrel mister Katsumi," she piped up. The brute nodded gratefully before placing the two poppy seeds in front of Breezy. " Eat those, and i'll need you to stand still," he muttered. Katsumi took up the sorrel, crushing it for a minute within his molars until it had become a thick pulp. He then positioned it on his tongue so that he could accurately place it on the she-wolfs scratches. They were sporadic, but generally in the same area. Within a few minutes, her fur looked like a large snail had slithered along her side, leaving its nasty slime behind. " Sorry if that hurt," the brute took a step back, eyeing the female warily. The pup was still around, Katsumi had realized, and he was now faced to determined what to do with the females. His work was done, and he had no means of hanging around. The brute wanted to resume his peaceful little life wedged between two packs, but he couldn't just force these two away. The hybrid cleared his throat awkwardly, looking to his den. " Well, I'd be careful not to strain yourself at least for today. I-if you need to rest my den is open." the brute wanted to groan as the words left his lips. He wasn't the type to be all friendly. He didn't know these wolves, and for all he knew they were just plotting against him. What if they ruined his den? And quite honestly, he was a whole lot more injured than Breezy. Katsumi turned away from the pair, off in search of some cobwebs and goldenrod. If he were in a desert, some gumweed would be perfect, he mused to himself. Applying these would be a bitch, though, considering his wound was on his back.

Mayerthu sniffed the air discovering the scents of long gone passersby a few of which sent her mind into her past... No. If I control anything it is my thoughts. Mayerthu swaggered towards the water's edge and took a drink while surveying the surrounding area. She kept her ears perked hoping Sage and Spirit would arrive soon. Mayerthu had decided to scout ahead of them to make sure things were safe and to begin working on a den. She finished drinking and padded to a nearby tree and sniffed the ground where a tuft of white fur was. Hmm... this smells... familiar.. odd. Mayerthu glanced up and saw a male wolf. Mayerthu shook her head and went the opposite direction avoiding interaction with him for now. She found a large bush with wide reaching limbs and started to gnaw on the branches to form a hole large enough to fit her body then she continued to work on the bush to make the space large enough for her companions.

"Well, I'd be careful not to strain yourself at least for today. I-if you need to rest my den is open." Katsumi said after applying the pulp. Breezy was exhausted and she needed to just lie down in a safe spot. "Yeah, sure, I'd like that," Breezy mumbled sleepily. She watched Katsumi while he went in a hunt for more plants, she would try to help him apply them once he got back. Breezy's eyelids drooped, the pain had subsided and she needed to rest. But what if Katsumi needed her? She should try to stay awake. Even as that thought drifted through her mind she fell fast asleep curled up in the den. Aurora KatsumiOOC: Sorry for the spelling mistakes if I make any, I try to catch them but I don't always succeed.

Spirit followed the elder one from behind, along with Sage. It was absolutely strange to think that days ago she had snuggled up cozily in a cave, surrounded by many friends. Now, she was in an entirely new area, having met an old friend and denied a place in the pack. She wondered where Mayerthu had in mind. Although she was uncertain about following a stranger she just met, Spirit was comforted by the fact Mayerthu was friendly, way more older and knowledgeable than she was. It wouldn't do her much harm to tag along with the older one. Taking the lead, Mayerthu had strutted ahead of the duo, scanning the area for any signs of hidden danger. Beady silver eyes took in the picturesque, clear lake before them, and admired the snowy mountain in awe. Patches of leftover snow from Winter dotted the grassy terrain, expressing Winter's reluctance to leave. It was rather upsetting to see the last bits of the beautiful icy substance melt away, but Spirit had looked forward to embracing the warmer season.Spring was finally here. In the distance, the dark grey wolf had already begun working on their den, chewing away on the branches of the bush and barreling her way through it. With a soft smile, Spirit hurried her pace to keep up, pulling out some of the leaves. Mayerthu Sage |

A young wolf, trying to enjoy all the good in life

Following the two wolves, Sage was busy looking around, admiring all the nature and smelling the fresh air. She noticed the Mayerthu begin to gnaw on some branches at a tree, probably trying to make a den, Sage smiled, I should help. She noticed Spirit take off the leaves from the branches, trying to help the older she-wolf. Sage decided to go into the more open spaces of the territory to grab some grass to put inside the den, to make it somewhat comfortable.
She hasn't been here for long, it was strange how in less than a couple weeks she made plenty of friends and maybe even some enemies, found a new pack territory and got attacked by a cougar. It was so overwhelming, but Sage decided to keep calm and took a deep breath, continuing getting mouthfuls of fresh, long grass and placing it by the work-in-progress den.After a few more trips back and forth, she went up to Mayerthu and put on her best smile, "Thanks Mayerthu, for letting me come along and saving me from possible death." She let out a nervous chuckle and shakily turned around to continue her work.

Aurora looked at Katsumi as he offered up his den and she could sense his reluctance to do so. Aurora shook her head "That's very nice of you Mister Katsumi but I have my own den, I appreciate your kindness though" Aurora turned and padded away from the two wolves looking back and watching Katsumi leave his den he looks like he's struggling a little bit, but he's a strong wolf he'll be fine Aurora traveled around the lake for a bit her head in the clouds and she ended up walking straight into another she-wolf with a mostly white coat of fur. Aurora stepped back and realized there was three ladies here. "I-I-I'm sooo sorry I didn't mean to run into you I swear!" Aurora wasn't sure if these wolves were friendly or not so she bolted through the woods to her tree den and curled inside. Inside her tree-den she shivered even though it wasn't cold. I miss Joy already she thought to herself. I wonder when she's coming back..? With that thought she drifted into a restless sleep. The ground was moist with dew and the sun had just receded behind the trees. "AURORA! GET IN HERE NOW!" Aurora looked at her mother who was perfect and beautiful unlike herself. She slowly made her way back to the den her tail dragging, where she was greeted with a bite to the ear. "Foolish pup, you should know by now that you are not allowed to explore, you could be seen!" Aurora nodded sullenly without speaking and lowered her ears and hid at the back of the den. She looked up at her mom who gave her a bloody smile, Aurora whimpered. "Momma where's beetle?" Aurora asked fearfully realizing that he wasn't in the den anymore. "Dead remember? You killed him. You murdered him with your words and foolish ideas. Your brother is dead now so you have to be as strong as he was, your father and I are taking you somewhere special tomorrow... rest well. Murderer."
Aurora woke with a start. Looking up at the sky smelling the fresh dew on the grass and she howled, mourning the loss of her brothers and sisters and the only home she'd ever known, her song was filled with heart ache, sadness and self loathing. When she finished she curled up again, ready for the nightmare to repeat. Murderer...

Pausing, the brute looked back nervously to find that Breezy had disappeared into his den, and he was grateful for that, hoping she hadn't vanished to ambush him or something similarly crazy. The pup, on the other hand, of whom he had still not caught name of, was barely caught in his peripherals scampering off to the stump she had originally hid in. Ok, then. Finally, his fur could rest a little, as he continued onward in search of cobwebs. His pursuit was short lived, though, as he neared a new bunch of females. More females. Three figures came into view as Katsu slowed to a halt, orbs resting on three adults, one injured. As he looked them over, he noticed that one of them happened to be huge, for a she-wolf anyways. Their eyes locked momentarily, and Katsumi began to feel his skin crawl. Was he going to have to move now, with all these rogues filing in? He had only been in the area two weeks and it seemed the serenity was short lived. The hybrid took a step forward, preparing to leave when his orbs caught what he was looking for. A few yards off from the group tangled the shinning webs of silk Katsumi needed to patch his wound. It seemed he was becoming a big risk taker today, as he glanced once more to the she-wolfs. With that, and a annoyed sigh, the handsome brute casually made his way to the cobwebs, eyeing the females in case of attack. " Pardon me," he muttered, taking a seat in front the webs before wrapping them gently around his paw. The claw marks on his back still bled slightly, his flank now stained red. A salmon tongue softly reached over his shoulder, awkwardly lapping at the angry cuts - cleaning them. He then tried to reach his web-filled paw around, but to no avail. In the end he just looked like an idiot; Katsumi would never be able to apply the webs with his paw. He could try sticking them to his nose, but then he would have to jab it into the wounds, hoping he wasn't just damaging the webs. He avoided eye contact with the ladies nearby, looking to his paw in thought, instead.

Breezy opened her eyes to see that Katsumi had still not come back. Worry clawed at her stomach. and she scampered to her paws, taking a big stretch before she headed off. It wasn't hard to track Katsumi, for there were a lot more wolves around, of coarse all female. She saw what Katsumi was doing and rolled her eyes, he was embarrassing himself. The fool could of at least come back to the den or go in another location. Breezy leapt down from the ledge from which she was watching them. Breezy eyed the females. Breezy recognized Spirit and Mayerthu from the somnus border. "Spirit, how are you recovering from the attack, did Somnus treat you nicely? Or was that another wolf that had gotten attacked? And hey Mayerthu, nice to see you again? Oh someone new, hey I'm Breezy nice to meet you. By the way this silly wolf over here is Katsumi," Breezy introduced, happy to have more friends. Breezy cast a mock sorrowful look at Katsumi, it would be good for him to be more open, if he ever joined a pack he would have to be more open. Jealousy hit her, and Breezy was confused, she was happy that more wolves were coming. Or was it because there was only one male here, but Breezy didn't like him, or that's what she had to tell her self. She growled softly, she was acting like that pup. Mayerthu tilted her head in acknowledgement to Sage, her pretty amber eyes glinting with a slight amusement at the younger she-wolf's nervousness. She looked over her shoulder at the male wolf and had to bite the leafy branch in her mouth to keep from laughing, the branch didn't hide her grin though as a familiar face approached, Breezy she recalled, and introduced her trio to the male wolf. Katsumi? Interesting name, not anything that I'm familiar with, but my name isn't exactly common either.Mayerthu turned her whole body to face Breezy and dipped her head to the ground and set her branch down carefully. She shook her body once to fluff her beautiful fur coat and smiled at the young gal. "Why, hullo there Breezy nice to see ya again is that wolf there your mate?" Mayerthu smiled at Breezy knowingly, seeing the look of possession cross her face when she looked from Katsumi to the trio of females that were working on their den. Amber eyes gazed upon Katsumi and Breezy attempting to gauge how well they would be for eachother. Her attraction is obvious but she stands as though she wishes it not. Well now... I dunno. Only time will tell for those two. Mayerthu sniffed from a distance trying to practice personal space and snorted. "Oi it's gonna take a lot of getting used to for this personal space stuff"

Aurora awoke and stared straight ahead. Grey eyes looked to her paws and she stood. She squeezed out of her den and approached the lake she timidly put a paw into the frigid water. She closed her eyes and started to walk into the water hardly making a ripple. When she was further in she crouched pulling her entire body under the water. She shook out her fur under the water then exited the lake dripping water onto the ground. She shook out her fur and took to laying on a rock in the sun waiting for her now clean and beautifully white fur to dry. There's nothing to do here... and I don't know if Joy is coming back. Maybe I should look for her? But where does she live? I don't know. But I'm not sticking around here. Aurora rose to her paws and started to pad away from the place she had grown accustomed to making one stop by Katsumi, Breezy and some other gals. "I never correctly introduced myself. I'm Aurora. And I'm not staying but perhaps we will run into eachother again one day if such a day comes maybe we all will become good friends." With those words she headed off towards something wolves called 'No Man's Land'. You don't have to come back for me Miss Joy, I'll come to you.

Breezy guffawed when Mayerthu said, " Why, Hello Breezy nice to see ya again is that wolf your mate?" "Why of coarse not, we are just friends if that," Breezy stuttered, absolutely baffled. Is it that obvious, it had to be just a coincidence. Breezy looked down at her feet awkwardly. Breezy turned her gaze and looked towards Katsumi for help. Did he realize it to, if Mayerthu some how caught on. Breezy desperately needed something to do to avoid eye contact, then she spotted Katsumi and his herbs. "Here let me help," Breezy suggested, walking over to Katsumi, she didn't care what this looked like, she just wanted to get out of there or do something to keep her mind off the prying eyes of the others. Katsu hadn't quite caught Breezy's scent as she came wallowing down the hillside, butting into the group of them. He was purposely avoiding the social aspect of this, and here she was, introducing him as a fool. It was obvious that she was familiar with these wolves, but the hair on his back stood in frustration as she happily gave out his name. Handsome features slowly turned to glare at the rogue, a warning gaze. She did not know him well enough to be acting like his mother. As he turned his attention back to the cobwebs before him, a striking comment from one of the she-wolfs sent him reeling back. Mate? How insulting. " Absolutely not," the hybrid barked, taking a full stand with his head dominantly high and mighty as he looked to the lupines. None of you would ever be suitable as my mate. He kept the comment to himself as he settled, tail flicking in agitation. While Breezy stumbled with her words in correlation, she seemed to all but be on the same page. The smaller lupine scuttled towards his side bashfully, mumbling something as she began to aid in applying the cobwebs. Well, that was a relief, but Katsu was slightly taken aback by her behavior. Did she like him? She hardly knew the first think about him! His comment sounded rather harsh now, but it held truth. Regardless, the brute decided to overlook this one. Maybe it was just a girl thing, being upset about subtle investigations like that. There was no way anyone could like a wolfdog like him. Eventually, Katsumi shrugged the females paws off him. She had applied the webs well enough, and he would be fine now. Meanwhile, the brute had been carefully thinking about his next move here. With the suddenly growing population, his serenity would go to waste and he would suffer from constantly being bothered by rogues. He looked to Breezy with a dull, unreadable look. " While this was fun," his voice hinted at sarcasm, " I think I'm going to head down the foothills," he paused, looking into the direction of his den. While he didn't exactly appreciate the company, he could utilize Breezy's skills to help them both. Katsumi took a stand once again, standing almost a foot taller than Breezy. " If you care to join, i'll be leaving promptly." his baritone vocals stopped at that remark, limbs taking him to his den in a steady trot. It wasn't his den that mattered, nor the majority of the herbs inside, but rather the lambs ear he had found. That was rare and about priceless, so he headed quietly into his den to gather it. Once his maw was full with the odd green plant, he would hop out of his den for the last time. For a moment, Katsumi surveyed the land that rolled down the foothills of the mountains. Some parts were greener than others, and without a doubt the uglier looking area's were the land packs left unclaimed. With a sigh, he determined that that was somewhere where his destination lie, among more rogues and predators. As a wolf, the idea wasn't the slightest taunting, but Katsumi wasn't a wolf fully. If he got attacked for his genes, he would immediately regret his decision.

As the trio busied themselves with their temporary den, Spirit failed to notice the presence of other wolves nearby. Perhaps the whiff of their scents had long hit her muzzle a long time ago, but she had pushed it aside having focussed on the task before them. So, when a she-wolf shrouded in a coat similar to hers came stumbling into her, Spirit let out a little yelp, taking a paw back to regain her balance. "I-I-I'm sooo sorry I didn't mean to run into you I swear! Spirit blinked, her silver-glazed eyes gazing at the young teenager before her. How the young one resembled her was striking, both covered in a Winter pelt with other hues of colours there and here. From her size, Spirit could only guess that the stranger was half her age. The older alabaster wolf felt a bright smile stretch across her snout. How long ago was it when she was this adorable? When the whole world seemed to be filled with rainbows? "It's okay," she chuckled. "I'm Spirit. What's your- Before Spirit could finish her sentence, the frightened half-year-old had taken off. "Wait, I didn't mean to... I'm sorry..." Spirit blurted out, widening her eyes in alarm. Had she seemed like a mean monster to the junior? She took a few paws forward in an attempt to catch up with the younger one but she had long slipped behind the trees. Slightly befuddled, Spirit cocked her head, looking to her two companions. The two, though, seemed too busy to notice the strange event, and so Spirit padded over silently to continue with their unfinished work. "Pardon me," A russet brute settled by them, pulling out threads of cobwebs while avoiding their eyes. Spirit's gaze shifted to his wounds, before asking gently: "What happened? Are you alright?""Spirit, how are you recovering from the attack, did Somnus treat you nicely? Or was that another wolf that had gotten attacked?"Spirit swooped around upon hearing the new cheerful voice babbling away. Breezy, whose name she hoped she remembered correctly, stood before them. She could vaguely remember the brownish female introducing herself at Somnus borders, only to be sent away just like them. "Breezy, it's nice to see you again. That was Sage who got attacked, and I think she's recovering well," Spirit smiled to her friend who as covered in cobwebs. "And hey Mayerthu, nice to see you again? Oh someone new, hey I'm Breezy nice to meet you. By the way this silly wolf over here is Katsumi." With a friendly grin plastered on her face, she nodded at the injured he-wolf. Before she knew it, Mayerthu chimed in: "Why, hullo there Breezy nice to see ya again is that wolf there your mate? Oi it's gonna take a lot of getting used to for this personal space stuff." Spirit felt uncertainty upon hearing Mayerthu speaking in the new accent the second time, and she wondered briefly why the senior had hid it away before. However, Mayerthu's speech made Spirit burst out in a hearty laughter, her whole figure shaking along. "Why of coarse not, we are just friends if that." Breezy's shy reply was filled with doubt as she stammered along nervously, and Spirit, who was usually the quiet one, could not help but giggle. " Absolutely not." Kastumi's voice was strong and stern, seemingly annoyed by Mayerthu's ridiculous implication. With great effort, Spirit held her tongue and clamped her mouth shut, holding all her laughter in. "While this was fun, think I'm going to head down the foothills. If you care to join, I'll be leaving promptly." he announced, looking towards Breezy. Spirit raised her eyebrows, now forming the theory that the two might actually love each other. "It's nice meeting the both of you." Spirit spoke, swishing her tail. "I hope we'll meet again." "I never correctly introduced myself. I'm Aurora. And I'm not staying but perhaps we will run into eachother again one day if such a day comes maybe we all will become good friends." A familiar voice joined the conversation. Spirit watched as the teen which had previously raced into the woods reappeared again. "Nice meeting you too, Aurora." Spirit nodded, watching as the she-wolf headed off too. Spirit swung her head, looking back at the two friends who were left. "I guess we can continue with the construction of our den." Spirit suggested. "And when we're ready, we could perhaps explore more lands." Exit: Noctis BordersOOC: Mayerthu, Sage and Spirit would be heading to Noctis border outskirts. Breezy gave a sorrowful look towards Katsumi as he walked off, poor wolf, she had not meant to hurt his feelings. She wanted to stay with Katsumi, his personality was a difficult one, but she loved that about him. And besides, Katsumi could be sweet, if you were looking for it. Breezy was glad to hear Spirit had not gotten hurt. "That's good Spirit, I'm glad that Sage is recovering. Now if you excuse me I have to find a grumpy male wolf," She said lightheartedly, glad that Katsumi was far away not to hear that. Breezy dashed after the male, and found him surveying the foothills. "Katsumi hold up! Look I did not mean to upset you, I was just teasing. I wont do it again, sorry, I had thought we were getting close enough to be friends. I mean I am here to be your friend, I know nothing about you, but I am willing to be your friend and be here when you need it. I don't have anything interesting to share, I am sure you do though. My family died in a flash flood, my brother saved me, gave me away to an older wolf, he died, I found 2 other male wolves, they tried to kill me and I ran away and found this place. But your so much better than those other wolves, you don't even try to kill me! Don't get any ideas. Ugg, okay sorry I'm talking to much, let me try to find some food before we go where ever we are heading," Breezy babbled. She probably just annoyed the heck out of Katsumi but that's what friends are for. Breezy ran ahead of Katsumi and tried scouting the ground for prey. She was not a very skilled hunter, but she caught enough to stay alive. After a little while of searching she found a young rabbit, she killed it and was disappointed. It really wasn't much, but it would have to do. If you could tally points on friendship, she was getting negative. "Oh well, Katsumi already isn't very fond of me, what's a tiny morsel of prey to go with it," Breezy mumbled. Breezy walked back to Katsumi, her tail tucked behind her legs. Katsumi |

As Sage was helping Mayerthu with making the den, she heard a loud unfamiliar yelp coming from another wolf, "I-I-I'm sooo sorry I didn't mean to run into you I swear!" The young wolf turned around to see the small white-grey wolf, no doubt that they were roughly the same age. It turned out that this lupine had accidentally crashed into Spirit, who simply smiled and kindly said, "It's okay," she chuckled. "I'm Spirit. What's your- " As she was about to finish the pup bolted off, probably scared and embarrassed. "Wait, I didn't mean to... I'm sorry..." Spirit began, she didn't think that she would've scared the young-one away. Sage only managed a slight chuckle, knowing that she probably would've done the same thing the young wolf would've done. She noticed a tawny male wolf say something to Spirit who seemed shocked and asked, "What happened? Are you alright?" Not really caring what had happened to the brute, Sage moved her head back to the den and began moving the grass and twigs for them to not fall apart. Her ears only perked up when she heard the sound of a familiar voice, "Spirit, how are you recovering from the attack, did Somnus treat you nicely? Or was that another wolf that had gotten attacked?" She remembered that she heard that voice as the cougar was attacking her at the Somnus border. Sage turned around to be faced with a white fur coated female with piercing brown eyes. Was Breezy her name? Sage wasn't sure.
"Breezy, it's nice to see you again. That was Sage who got attacked, and I think she's recovering well," Spirit smiled and nodded over to Sage, who just nodded as if to say, 'Yeah, I got attacked. So what? ' "And hey Mayerthu, nice to see you again? Oh someone new, hey I'm Breezy nice to meet you. By the way, this silly wolf over here is Katsumi." With a friendly smile, the she-wolf Breeze looked over to Sage, who once again just nodded in a 'Nice to meet you' way. "Why, hullo there Breezy nice to see ya again is that wolf there your mate? Oi it's gonna take a lot of getting used to for this personal space stuff." Mayerthu chimed in, talking in her new accent. Sage wondered why she had tried to hide it. "Why of course not, we are just friends if that." Blurted out Breeze, who seemed almost offended at Mayerthu's comment. "Absolutely not." The tawny brute, Katsumi said quite sternly. "While this was fun, think I'm going to head down the foothills. If you care to join, I'll be leaving promptly," he announced, looking towards Breezy. The two seem that they like each other but try to hide it as best as they can. "It's nice meeting the both of you," Spirit spoke, swishing her tail. "I hope we'll meet again."
Sage rolled her eyes, not saying anything she turned her head back to the den to continue to work. "I never correctly introduced myself. I'm Aurora. And I'm not staying but perhaps we will run into each other again one day if such a day comes maybe we all will become good friends." Sage instantly remembered who the voice belonged to, it was that little wolf pup who accidentally crashed into Spirit and then ran away. "Hey Aurora, my name is Sage." The she-wolf smiled, trying to look friendly, to hopefully not scare the young one away. "I can see you're not too much younger than me, maybe we can become good friends." Sage chirped. "Nice meeting you too, Aurora." Spirit nodded, before noticing that Aurora had already headed off. She turned her head towards Sage and Mayerthu, "I guess we can continue with the construction of our den." Spirit suggested. "And when we're ready, we could perhaps explore more lands." "That sounds great, I'll get some rest so we can head off as soon as possible." The lupine said, before yawning and jumping into the not-yet finished den, hoping it doesn't anger the duo.
