The youthful she-wolf was relieved to see that Newt was willing to help her. As his paw sorted through the berries, she noticed the multiple healing, infected, and/or scarred injuries on his leg. She bit her tongue for the moment. Wren knew exactly what they were from, himself, and she knew why as well. Many times she had seen him slathering mushed up plants onto himself. She supposed that it wasn't so bad to improve one's skills, but on themselves? Her whirring mind couldn't fathom trying to practice hunting skills on herself without looking like a crazy wolf.
"Now this," Newt's voice pulled Wren from her inner monologue. Excitement pulsed through her as she waited to hear just what she had brought Newt for Aedion. "This is Nightshade, able to kill even the biggest wolves," his words morphed her eagerness into horror. She could have killed Aedion, let alone herself if she hadn't wrapped them in those leaves. "Holly.. Poisonous, deadly to the young, or elderly." Guilt stabbed her chest. Aedion was young. "Raspberry, useful - but for birthing mothers." Birthing mothers? Wren didn't know if any wolf around here would need that anytime soon. At last, one of the plants Wren had brought back was useful! Newt scooted away to grab a few more plants, some lovely flowers, and a plant that Wren recognized. The crisp scent of mint invaded her nasals.
She followed her slender friend over towards the young pup that the herbs were obviously intended for. Her amber gaze intently watched as he created a minty paste and slathered in on either Aedion or the ground. "Hey, it's so nice how concerned you were," Newt commented to her once he was satisfied with Aedion's herb eating. Wren ducked her head, her ears flushing underneath her fur. "I've never seen a wolf, let alone a pup, in his situation. It just felt right," the blanketed she-wolf responded softly, trying not to let her voice carry over to Aedion. She didn't know if the young pup needed to hear that she pitied him.

| The darkly mottled chocolate bitch hadn't moved all night, her brittle mass balled up in a tight coil as she let her faded optics stare into the darkened cavity that was her and Zeros den. As the name slithered through the rearward chambers of her thoughts a rumbled whine would escape.
Had she done something wrong? Would he ever return? Or was this her fate?
It had been two, very long, weeks. His departure being spontaneous and, in her mind, undertaken with little motive. Yes, she had been informed of his unfinished business, but why did he have to leave her after she finally felt like she had a place- A meaning.
Quickly she let her head rise, dark chocolate rimmed hearing aids fluttering rear-wards as she listened to the muffled life that began to filter through the Noctis' Commons. Each voice was one of familiarity, filled with the sense of rising energy and excitement for the new day's progression. From known routine, each lupine would be seeking their day's activities, ready to participate and bond with those around them as they had done every day so far.
To Yoki, the repetition was a bore, a well dug trench to hide the sluggish lives those within the pack led. She had so far kept her distance, grown unattached to those she called 'family', and only come nearer when meals were provided or her presence was requested. But she'd made up her mind- She'd finally decided today would be different.
Letting ashen claws dig within the harsh soils of her den, the mottled bitch had allowed herself to heave into a more up-righted position. Slender limbs shuddering from the work as her more weighted mass settled in it's new stature. For a moment, she questioned if she'd increased her food intake, the excess weight only just noticeable though not enough so to cause her to fuss. Winter was arriving, so extra weight was a necessity, the creatures she'd eaten obviously filled with more nutrition as they themselves sought to survive the oncoming cold.
Dull ivory optics would quickly flutter, seeking to take in the glow of caverns entrance, slow stride to draw her forth as she slid through slim entrance. As expected, each wolf of her pack had arisen, greetings given and excitement present. She reminded herself of her rank- Delta. Perhaps it was time she tried to fulfill what the Alpha had seen in her? Perhaps it was time she let go of her past, and stepped up to her future. Perhaps it was just time, that the 'glass half-empty' bitch, had faith in herself to be more than she'd ever made herself out to be.
With onyx leathery nasals to flare with a deep breath inwards, the yearling let her tail swish to and fro, dark oaken ears leaning forwards as she made B-line towards the Alpha's den. Surely, by this time, Luke and Seven would be awake. The main target being Seven as the Delta slowed her pace and paused a few feet from the entrance.
"U-uh... Good Morning, Alpha Luke, Alphess Seven."
The hesitant greeting was followed by a sinking tail, her head bowing below her shoulders as she felt her stomach grow heavy with anticipation. Confrontation, even passive, wasn't quite her strongest suit when facing something far greater than herself. But, the worst part was figuring out what to say next. I just wanted to see what we were doing today? No. I was wondering if Seven would teach me some new things today? No. What the hell was a Delta supposed to say??
"Uh-uhm, I was thinking, maybe I could assist you with your duties today Seven?" Stupid, she sounded absolutely stupid! "I, figured, uh, that maybe I could start learning my new role? A-and, maybe Seven could help me out..."
Yup, she was beginning to lose track of exactly what she was doing, and so, with an almost inaudible whine to escape ribbed barrel, Yoki fell to silence and merely prayed she hadn't overstepped or interrupted. If they had moved to emerge from their shadowed confines, she too would back-peddle, a shy smile to be offered as greeting and a nod of her skull provided. | Tagged: Alpha Luke & @seven OOC: Time to shove her out of her comfort zone. #DeltaSchool |

Feyre of Noctis As soon as the slightly younger male laid his head against her shoulder, Feyre had gotten her answer. Perhaps it was pity, sorrow or even guilt that hit her chest as she felt Tamlin's tears dampen her spitfire coat, but whatever it was that she felt, she knew that it hurt. It definitely wasn't anything comparable to what the brothers were feeling, probably not even close, but it was a pain strong enough to compel her to be closer to the grieving male. All she wanted was to encase him in a cocoon of peace and comfort, she wanted to take him away from all of this pain, she wanted to see him smile. Feyre despised those hot tears that stung his beautiful jade eyes, and she hated the fact that he had probably been holding them in. She loathed the universe for making Tamlin feel such horrid things. But the universe wasn't exactly anything that she could confront.
All Feyre could do was lay her head on top of his, her tail brushing against his side as she sought to encase him with her presence as much as she could. "You're not alone in this world, Tamlin. I will always be here." They were only a few words carried with a soft definition, she wasn't even sure if they would be enough to bring even the slightest amount of comfort. But it was all she could offer at this moment.

Eyelids lifted with discomfort as the suns rays irritated her orbs. She had been lying seamlessly still all night, unable to sleep she had been staring up at the night sky with constant huffs and gruffs that followed. But only when she finally found comfort in slumber did the sun decide to show its fucking face. “Dumb bastard.” She grumbled. Rolling over and on to her feet she trotted out her den, ears shoved to the sides to alert unfortunate passersby of her pissy mood.
But her days here had not all been to waste. The moody she-wolf had found company in few that lived here, and she had found said purpose that she had been in search for.
Ruffling her coat she then strode forward, head low as her sleepy stride brought her to a familiar face.
“Hey Oz..” Unfriendly orbs greeted the male, a normal custom she offered to anyone really. It dawned on her that maybe a more friendly face would help receive a few more good points. But that seemed all but too much effort.
Eyes glanced towards Luke’s den, a risen brow followed as she looked at Ozmond in question as to what he was up too.

In the midst of his thinking, an obsidian beauty strolled into view. Gently, the handsome brute turned his cranium in the still puffy-eyed female, her limbs weighed down by the thick cloak of sleep. Still, after weeks in Noctis, Vera still remained distant, even cold. Sighing inwardly, Ozmond mustered a half grin, one ear tipping backwards as he looked up at the slightly taller bitch. “Hey Oz..” Her generic greeting was hardly surprising, something to be expected from the cynical lupine. Perhaps one day he could draw her into a more friendly side of life, but for now he was preoccupied with his tasks for today. The prospect of activity was almost reality, he need only ask Luke. But, what shall he do? Hunt, train? Visit those pesky borders, which would soon be crawling with Rogues. "Good morning, sunshine." He joked dryly, to distracted to truly commit. "Feel like doing something today?" Ozmond inquired, lifting a singular eyebrow curiously. Surely she didn't want to lay around, especially on this beautiful day. Flicking his tail, he silently asked for her company as he walked away. Whether or not she followed, he didn't mind. It would be comforting to have someone to accompany him, especially since he was about to interrupt his Alpha (who already wasn't overly fond of him) while he enjoyed a peaceful morning with his beloved mate. As he trotted along with a power gait, he shook his head. It was almost foolish to let love interfere with work. The pack came first. No doubt. "Alpha Luke, Sir?" The multicolored brute called from outside his den, sitting patiently. If Luke were to emerge, Ozmond would nod his head, taking a respectful step backwards. "Sorry for interrupting, but I was wondering if we would be hunting, or practicing combat today?" His words were tentatively placed, each one spoke carefully, as to not strike a nerve. If Luke didn't emerge, Ozmond would merely sigh, and pad back to were he was sat previously. Alpha Luke, @vera

Aedion "Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire."
To Aedion, it did not feel like Autumn at all. He felt nothing of the cool zephyr that 'danced' through the Commons, nor could he feel the natural chill that seemed to sting the air. All he felt was fire. It was emanating from his lungs, licking up into his throat and scorching behind his eyes. He could have sworn his blood was simmering as the waves of heat hit his body, leaving behind a sweat that dampened his fur...or were they tears? Perhaps a mix of both, but Aedion couldn't care to identify whatever left his fur clinging to his burning skin as he focused on anything but that gruesome vole that had been laid in front of him; that rodent that he had managed to connect to Lysandra.
The youngling choked on the tears that were indeed building at his eyelids. Literally choking as he coughed against the painful weight in his chest. Aedion felt sick in so many different ways. His bubbling stomach, his spinning head and his quivering limbs all added to his pitiful appearance.
"Hey there," another unidentified voice sliced through Aedion's reality, for a second that more-so masculine voice brought him away from the famine ghost of his sister, but it did not last for long as he kept his quivering crown lowered to the ground, trying for the love of god not to forget a single detail of Lysandra. "Eat these, now, please." Eat? Aedion turned his glassy eyes towards the food that was placed in front of him; no, not food...plants? Aedion's brow furrowed. He stared at the flora for a few seconds, contemplating how well each item would sit in his stomach and feel against his swollen tongue before he gingerly took one into his mouth, flinching at the cold feeling of the Autumn frosted camomile against his palette. He swallowed. The plant sliding easily down the flaming track of his esophagus. Aedion waited a few seconds, waiting for bile to rise up in his throat, ready for his body to reject what he was trying so desperately to give himself. But nothing happened, if anything, the fire that blazed through his body seemed to hiss and retreat at the presence of the plant in his stomach. With no more hesitance, Aedion took the rest of the plants, eating each one gratefully as they soothed the burning sensation that had hexed his body. But it did nothing to stop the pain that lingered in his chest.
"T-thank you." his words were rasped and gruff, but they conveyed the message he was trying to get across. He might've still felt like absolute shit because of the place that his sister had left in his life, but hey, at least his head wasn't in three seperate dimensions anymore.

Vera couldn’t help but soften her gaze at the sight of his smile, the same one she had been greeted with on her first day here. It had been difficult. Changing from her lonelier lifestyle where she was not at all required to speak a word; now greeted every morning to the constant chatter of wolves and the overbearing expectation to socialize. Grumpiness was often triggered by this, an unhappy she-wolf she was. But oddly she found comfort in Oz, truly surprising.
Ears flicked in attention to his little joke that made fun of her sleepy demeanor. It triggered a sarcastic scoff from the bitch, not denying her less than appealing appearance. But the male was distracted. Hues narrowing as if trying to infiltrate his mind, but as always her lips were sealed, she rather lacked the words, or so the confidence to question his drifting mind.
Instead she simply followed at the little flick of his tale. Paws bringing her forward to flank him with respectable space in between. But she stopped as he moved forward to call for Luke, seating herself patiently a few steps away. “Don’t get yourself eaten Oz, I’d rather you stick around.” Eyes brightened as she chuckled, as she shook her head at the lighthearted joke made so close to the den of the so called monster. But the sarcasm was there, Vera was quite pleased with Luke, she may not have been as quick to form friendships but he had given her a home, it was all she could ask for really. But for now she sat quiet, trying so damn hard not to fall asleep as she waited.

With a parting dip of her cranium, Wren padded away from the Apprentice and Aedion. The few minutes ago when she was sliding through the leaves seemed so distant now. The weight of the pups' loss had spread onto her as she tried to give at least Aedion a 'pick me up.' It was like a snake, grief and sadness coiling itself around her throat, choking out the happy thoughts that usually crowded her youthful mind. Her paws felt heavy as she slugged away from the two males, her head clouded with transferred sorrow. She needed to cheer herself up. Hunting was usually the thing that got her into the best mood, but with the horrendous failure of the crushed vole she had brought Aedion, she didn't exactly want to have the same result again.
As she walked further away from Aedion and his den, her steps grew lighter, and her head ever clearer. She wanted to talk with another wolf, preferable about something happy and not super sad. Amber eyes scanned her options. Oz and Vera were up, but they seemed to be talking to the Alphas. Delta Yoki was moving around too, but was also conversing with the leaders. Darn, there went three of her best options. Aedion was sad, Newt was doing things with his herbs, who else was there awake? Aili! The blanketed she-wolf swung her bodice around, searching for her one of first friends, but was a bit disappointed to find her off to the sides completely, not looking like she wanted to socialize at all. With a sigh, Wren wracked her brain, trying to think of anyone else she had seen awake this morning. She got up, played in the leaves, got a leaf stuck on her head, and talked to... Maytr! She switched her attention to the tangerine male, but he seemed to be lost in space. Just looking at him made Wren realize something. Maytr had lost his sister too! Was he trying to think of a plan to comfort Tamlin and Aedion? That would be nice. They needed someone who could truly sympathize with their situation. But alas, he wasn't available to talk to either.
As she desperately looked for someone to talk to, she made a quick observation. There were no males in Noctis of her age other than Newt, and he was nearly a year older. Oz was nearly two she guessed, and Luke was obviously already mates with Seven. Zach and Sasha seemed to be an item as well. Another sigh. There wasn't exactly anyone to crush on either. At last, she caught movement out of the corner of her eye. The frame she spotted sat alone, but looked open to conversation. Finally!
Wren made quick work of trotting over to Beta Sasha, a grin on her face as she whisper shouted a, "Good morning!" The cream Beta was outside her den, and considering that in her extensive search for another wolf she didn't find Zachariah's face, he was probably still sleeping inside. "This season is perfect for leaf sliding! You should join me sometime~," Wren babbled excitedly, but quietly. She didn't mind that the Beta was seemingly supposed to be a professional position; they were around the same age. Who doesn't want to have some fun once and a while?

Tears of his grief stained his cheeks, and Feyre's side. With each gulp of air he took in, his diaphragm spasmed, sending shudders through his lanky form. His exhales could be likened to coughs, sudden bellows of wind with rattling mucus attached to the back of his throat creating the sound. Tamlin wasn't a screaming crier, he didn't throw his head back and wail miserably. He was a whining crier. Soft, high-pitched whimpers escaped his lips often, carrying with them the shreds of happiness that he had felt before. He wasn't just crying for Lysandra anymore. It was for his sister, his mother, his father figure, almost his entire family. The sensation of Feyre's head and bodice wrapped around him only made him sob harder. He could feel her love and sympathy, but he wanted them from his sister, from his mother. Now he never would be able to do so again. " You're not alone in this world, Tamlin. I will always be here," her melodious voice soothed his ears, but did nothing to stop the salt that seeped from his sights. He wanted to relish in her embrace forever, to stay in her blanket of serene calmness for the rest of his life, but right now, he needed someone else to comfort him. The alabaster pup snuffled pitifully and tried his best to wipe the tears off his face with his leg. "Thank's Feyre," he managed to whisper out. He nuzzled his head into her side, spreading his tears back onto his head unintentionally. Taking one last deep breath, Tamlin nodded, to whom he didn't know, before slowly making his way out of the cocoon of warmth Feyre had provided him. His legs were stiff. Tamlin practically had to learn how to walk again as he stumbled his way over to his brother. Aedion's tan pelt had a stain of green between it's shoulder blades that was overwhelmingly potent. The sudden scent brought more tears to Tamlin's eyes, but he continued to move closer, until he flopped down next to his only remaining family. He wasn't full on crying anymore, but his breathing was jittery, and anyone that saw him could see that he was still deeply upset. He merged his white pelt with Aedion's tan as he cuddled next to his brother. He didn't say a word, just snuggled up next to his kin as he calmed himself down. At least he still had Aedion. @aedion Feyre

| An expression of soft admiration hung across the female’s ebony visage as she regarded her mate with loving golden eyes. She had asked how he was, hoping to find the source of the worry she’d noticed within him as of late. The role of alpha was difficult for any wolf. Being the more experienced with the role, Luke seemed to be taking majority of its burdens. With the whole of her being, Seven wished to be more of a help to her mate. To take on as much of his strain as she could, to help him to carry the responsibilities that they as a pair were meant to share.Luke’s voice danced in her ears as his reply came. "I've been well. I got to wake up next to the love of my life after all." The statement was followed by an affectionate lick across the female’s cheek. Seven sighed happily, returning the gesture. She shared his sentiment from the bottom of her heart, knowing that the days she’d spent with her mate had been the happiest of her life. "Although . . .” There it was. That concern and strain she knew was there, always just below the surface. Seven’s expression was encouraging as she gazed over at him, silently urging him to continue. “I'm worried about the pups. Their mother abandoned them, and then they've lost a sibling . . . I'm not sure how the little ones are doing right now, but I've never been good with pups . . . Feyre was hard enough to handle as is.” A tiny smile tugged at Seven’s lips at his last comment. Well, she turned out just fine, now didn’t she? As quickly as it had come, however, the lighthearted expression faded into a serious one laced with thoughtfulness. “I’m worried as well,” she murmured. “Losing a sibling is never easy, regardless of the circumstances. Especially without a mother or father figure to help with coping.” She knew the pain of what those pups were going through. Oh, how she knew. She’d lost Ivy, and had been entirely on her own after the fact. Thankfully, Aedion and Tamlin would have the pack to care for them. However, that wouldn’t stop them from missing their sister. Not by a long shot, and not for a long time. “I’ll check up on the both of them whenever I can, just to see how they’re holding up and to see if there’s anything they need,” she said gently. Her mate spoke up once again. "With Conrad also abandoning the pack so suddenly, it makes me worry that there's something internal happening within the pack. What do you think my love?" Seven’s gaze fell at the mention of Conrad. He and his brother, Filtiarn, had been her close friends when they had first come to Noctis, though they had grown apart in the months since. They were the reason she had even reached the pack in the first place. And yet, both males were long gone. Sorrow tugged at her chest to think that they had left the pack. As her grief coupled with concern for the fate of the pack, a sick feeling rose in her stomach. However . . . It couldn’t be an issue within the pack, could it? “I do not believe that it is something internal,” she began slowly, lifting her head to meet her mate’s eyes. “From what I have seen, the wolves in Noctis seem content enough. Perhaps those who have left us behind did so because they simply found that they did not fit in here? I do not know.” She paused. “I suppose,” she continued with a sigh, “that we cannot rule out an internal conflict, though. It would be wise to keep our eyes and ears open, just in case something does happen to be amiss.” Seven leaned over to her mate, quickly rasping her tongue over his cheek. “I don’t think we’ll have anything to worry about,” she said, her voice gentle and soft. Everything will be just fine. A flash of movement and a soft rustling toward the den’s entrance caught the attention of the ebony bitch. Her cranium swung smoothly around to face the outside, finding herself gazing toward the small onyx frame of the Noctis delta."U-uh . . . Good Morning, Alpha Luke, Alphess Seven." A bright smile lit up the alphess’s face as she gave a nod of greeting to the young female. “Good morning, Yoki,” she said cheerfully."Uh-uhm, I was thinking, maybe I could assist you with your duties today Seven? I, figured, uh, that maybe I could start learning my new role? A-and, maybe Seven could help me out . . .” The obsidian female’s smile widened as she padded toward the delta. “It would be my pleasure, Yoki.” She glanced back at her mate with a smile. “I’ll be back later.”With a kind glance down to Yoki, the alphess slipped fully from the den. “I was planning to pay a visit to Aedion and Tamlin this morning to see how they’re holding up,” she said, casting her gaze over to the younger female. As she spoke, her gaze floated gently across the commons. Soon enough, it caught on the pair of pale young wolves, resting next to one another across the commons. Seven’s chest clenched to see them there, her instincts begging her to go to them. She listened, padding slowly over to them - with Yoki in tow, had the delta followed her.“Good morning,” she said softly, leaning down slightly to be closer to their eye-level. “How are the pair of you?”

Ater "Living Without Purpose Isn't Living."
Silver eyes opened, gazing blankly at the dirt wall of her den. In her slitted view she could see a few small roots pushing their tips through the wall, promising disaster or protection to her den. Shifting, the leaden she-wolf brought her head closer to her curled figure, brushing her ink dipped tail over her exposed nose for warmth. Ater's eyes, now facing outward, watched the shifting figures of the Noctis wolves awaking and shuffling about in a generally good mood. Her brows arched downward in a slight frown as she continued watching their interactions, triangular ears laid back though she still heard their hushed words. The wind brushed the branches, blowing more leaves away to reveal a bare and naked bark underneath. Winter was coming.
Ater hefted her thick frame upward, frown still pressed on her features. She stopped once her front half was lifted onto her front legs, shoulder blades pointing stiff and sharp above her spine with her skin and fur draped between them. Her slightly narrowed eyes sought out the wolves around her, finding familiar faces in the small crowd that began to mingle and grow though none called for her immediate attention. The leaden she-wolf brought herself to all of her legs, weight evenly placed above the four muscular limbs though she crouched some within the confines of her den. She moved her body forward, comprising so she could fit through the small doorway of her den. Her movements were stiff with lingering sleep, face tired with her eyelids dropped partially over her silver eyes. The leaden female lumbered out a ways in the cleared area before she stretched her front legs out, feeling her stiffness melt away as a refreshing feeling swarmed her limbs and her back curled in a swayed curve. Her jaws stretched wide to reveal two perfect rows of shining teeth in a large yawn.
Licking her lips with a light smacking noise, Ater settled in a more casual position with her tired eyes falling on the closest wolves. The two small pups sat alone, leaning together in silence. Despite how moody and unreachable she usually was, the scene of the two young pups mourning made her heart drop in her chest. They had lost just about everything. First Celaena, their mother, abandoned them with a pack of wolves they hardly new. Then Lysandra disappears and the only parent figure they have left disperses, leaving them alone with only the offered care of the other Noctis wolves for comfort. Her hardened gaze softened some, brow arched in concern for the mourning siblings as her gloom was brushed away for the moment.
Another yawn spread her jaws open as her chest expanded and deflated in an exaggerated motion. The idea to go say good morning to the pair crossed her mind but she left them alone. It looked like they needed a little while to just be. Instead, she stayed where she was, glancing toward them every once in a while to check on the two.

As Aili had woken, she carefully watched Wren, hoping she didn't look like she was practically hawking her, though she was. The female had stopped to talk to their Beta, though Aili did not wonder what about. Instead, she rose to her paws, shaking dust off of her pelt, restoring it to its rosy color. Skipping in an almost cheerful way, a way she had not acted since the first couple of weeks she had been in Noctis, Aili trotted over to Wren. "Wren," she says to the female, her honey golden eyes catching the sun as she gazed at her former friend. "Beta," Aili dips her head toward her superior, not knowing her very well or being comfortable enough to address her as a friend. "How is the morning treating you?" she asks, looking plainly with no expression at Wren, much unlike she would have as a pup, though the same affection lay in her heart for Wren, it was just not as visible. Aedion "Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire."
With his head buried between his paws, Aedion tried to block everything and everyone out. He dismissed the beautiful streams of sunlight that were shinning too brightly for his dampened soul to bare, he ignored to cheery rounds of chatter that circled through the Noctis grounds and only reminded him that he was alone in this so-called familial pack, he even muted his own feelings, quickly deciding right there and then that being numb and lacking empathy was a whole lot better than dealing with the pain of relations and emotional constructs. That was it. He was numb. Void of feeling and unaware of his surroundings.
Why was he still here, in Noctis? These wolves had no real care for him, sure they kept him alive, but he had no friends, nor anyone who really cared for him. And those who claimed to know him were delusional; ignorant, even. If they did believe they felt some kind of connection to him it would be out of pity, and nothing more. Why should they care? He was a pup who had been abandoned by his mother, his biological father had left him even before birth, and now his so-called 'adoptive father' had thrown him away as well. But he would never blame Lysandra for leaving him. She never would have wanted to die; nor would she have ever thought about or wanted to leave him in such a grief-striking way. As for his brother...his brother. Tamlin. The source of warmth that had placed itself beside his body while he was so caught up in his own toxic thoughts. Aedion slowly shifted his cranium to see his pure alabaster sibling, to see the tears that clouded his dull green eyes and stain his cheeks. Tamlin cared; Tamlin was his other-half, truely the only one that Aedion had. In his slow bubbling hatred towards this pack and what had happened here, he had forgotten that he had a brother who was going through the exact same things as him, someone who felt the same pain that he did. Tears began to build, stinging Aedion's glassy eyes as he leaned over to nuzzle Tamlin's cranium. He was not entirely alone, Aedion had his brother.
Suddenly, a kind face appeared, casting a dark shadow over the siblings and blocking out the sunlight that he had deemed to be too bright. The Alphess. “Good morning, how are the pair of you?” Seven's words were soft, soothing and motherly, something that Aedion believed he would never hear again. But did she care? Did she really, truely care for their wellbeing? Or was she obligated to make sure that they were still breathing? It seemed that she didn't want to stand by and see the brothers suffer as they did, but Aedion began to question whether this was a way to keep up her reputation among the pack. He really didn't know what to think anymore. "Do you really want to know, ma'am? Do you care about us, about our pain? Or are you asking for the sake of being polite?" His questions seemed to unintentionally roll off his tongue, in his numbness he had forgotten to put a spark of life into his voice and his words had come out with a very dull and monotonous tone, perhaps even sounding a bit rude if it wasn't obvious that he wasn't completely coherent at that point. He didn't exactly care if the Alphess mistook him for being rude and wasn't able to pick up the fact that he was desperately trying to cling onto some kind of emotional and mental stability. All Aedion wanted was something or someone that gave him a valid reason to stay with Noctis, and perhaps he would find that reason in her.

Feyre of Noctis The pair stayed wrapped in each others embrace for a few more moments, Feyre's heart aching as every second passed and Tamlin's tears persisted. She knew that she was powerless against the pain and destruction that went hand-in-hand with the great amount of grief that both Tam and Aedion were experiencing. But she had tried, she had given her friend a literal shoulder to cry on, and she offered the softest words of comfort that she could offer. Feyre would gladly do it again, she'd very willingly be a supportive figure for anyone within her beloved pack, because she refused to stand by and watch any kind of physical, mental or emotional suffering without at least trying to help in someway.
Luke had encouraged this trait within her; the wolf who raised and claimed her as his own. He had always taught her to be the best she-wolf that she could be, and that was exactly what she intended to do--or more accurately, hoped to do.
As Tamlin left her side to be with his brother, Feyre let her sterling gaze hesitate against the pale retreating figure before she looked towards the den where Seven and Yoki exited, the pair of respected females making their way over to the grieving brothers. A smile twitched against Feyre's lip as she saw her adoptive mother showing such worry for her friends. The young she-wolf really did have the best role models in the world. But she did not watch the pair of female superiors for too long, as she eventually looked back to the entrance of her parents den, waiting eagerly for her father to greet the morning and start the day. And judging by the duel howls that rang through the Commons from the distant Borders, she knew that today was bound to be quite interesting.

| Yoki's heart had all but skipped a beat, her eyes falling to her paws, and tail offering a single sway as the Alphess was first to respond to her greeting. She could feel the beaming smile from the female, the willing energy to do anything to keep her wolves happy unmistakable.
Before long, the young she of muddled oaken cream patterns found herself side stepping, pale gaze locked upon Sevens stride. "I was planning to pay a visit to Aedion and Tamlin this morning to see how they're holding up." Each word was soft, and inviting, no hint of hesitation or concern to be noted as the ebony leader began making her way across the commons.
Without a word, Yoki offered a partial nod, slender limbs easily collecting motion as she followed Sevens lead. "Good morning. How are the pair of you?" As the darker she spoke, Yoki let sapphire optics dance across the pair of pups, abandoned by many they were close to on such a short time she'd not realized others has been worse off than herself over the past few weeks.
"Do you really want to know, ma'am? Do you care about us, about our pain? Or are you asking for the sake of being polite?"
Yoki's once hung cranium had suddenly jerked backwards, pupils widening as her tail dropped. How could he have questioned their alphess' intentions? They were family, blood or not, and it was all anyone could do at that time for the pair of younglings.
"Aedion," unable to restrain herself, the Delta had taken a short step forward, eyes searching to meet his. "We're all family. Some of us with more choice than others, but we're all here together. Your pain, sadness, worry; affects us all." As she spoke she gestured to every other wolf scattered in the clearing before looking back to the ivory pup.
"Each of us cares. Each of us want to see you happy and worry free. Seven, she is our voice, taking charge where her presence is best suited." For a moment, Yoki's hushed tone did off, simgle sway of tail to brush against Sevens side. "So please, Aedion, let her talk to you, let us all help in any way we can. Because, belive it or not, we're all here to support you."
It had been the most Yoki had ever said, her voice holding a partial rasp to each offered word, though such rasp barely deterred the authentic sweetness she naturally presented. With her selection of speech finished, the chocolate-creme creature let herself slink back a step. Caution noted in her movement as she questioned whethershe may have over stepped her boundaries or not. Either way, it was now Sevens turn, though she had opportunity to cut in at any time, Yoki would let her take control of everything from then onwards. | Tagged: @seven, @aedion, Warrior Tamlin OOC: boop - just gonna hope this is ok and leave it here... o.o |
