| J O Y loneliness is poverty
She had been here enough times before, but the scents were ever-changing. It was true that this was a stop along a journey for most wolves, its inconvenient placement between the packs proving to outweigh its practicality as a permanent home. But this was good for the mission. It meant that wolves in the area were mobile, looking for something, surrounding themselves with the hope, and perhaps comfort, of packlands. It wouldn't be an unfair assumption that rogues here were indeed looking for a home.
Despite her many scouting trips to the pines she had undertaken as sentinel, it had never become of her to actually talk to any of the temporary residents here. Since they were always gone the next day, she never had any interest in making acquaintance with the travelers. So, she was not surprised that when they finally happened upon a group of wolves, she was lost to silence and Azrath took the lead. Much of it had to do with his very presence, along with Simon's. She liked both of them, far more than she liked to admit. She either went completely dead around them and sought to hide, or bossed them around to show off her power. Today did not seem to resemble the latter.
His makeup was the first thing Joy noticed about the reddish animal approaching, Katsumi. She guessed fairly that it was the first thing anybody noticed without having to put much thought to it. This already made him an outcast; an undesirable prospect to most packs in the area that she knew of. Now, it was like a good sentinel to first examine the potential flaws of a prospective pack member, but it was more like Joy to assess such flaws with an open heart, just like Rowan had done with every new member of the family.
She wasn't at all pleased with Azrath's response. Azrath was supposed to be the good one. The angel, possessing all the good that Simon hadn't. So she was taken aback to hear him speak so unaccordingly to the hybrid. He was acting cocky, like his very status put the value of his life far above that of a rogue hybrid. She didn't fight a look of disappointment towards him. He should have immediately recognized that Katsumi's initial comments were born of insecurity, not hostility, and responded in a fashion that respectfully addresses those insecurities. Azrath was always the one to put others before himself, but apparently when it came to the less-privileged, Azrath wasn't the good samaritan he pretended to be. Joy's image of him was lost.
The scout was quick to show his more vibrant qualities once Katsumi opened up. Ah, perhaps Azrath was only putting on a show. Joy's heartbeat raced and dropped and her curiosities and assumptions clashed about Simon's brother. She took a deep breath and walked forward; she had a job to do.
"Our home is undiscoverable to the wanderer. It is heavily secluded and undisturbed, so when we are seeking additions to the family, we have to recruit our prospects and escort them to the territory ourselves. I brought my scouts here because it is frequented by rogues looking for a home. I presume that's exactly what you are?" Joy's head cocked as she smiled at Taliaia. She had noticed the shy wolf lurking before finding the strength to approach the pack wolves. Joy was quite shy herself, and hoped her kindness and courage towards the girl would prove exactly what kind of family she was being offered acceptance into. "I'm Joy, sentinel. I think all of you would make fine additions to our family," Joy stated to the small band of rogues. Her gaze fell back to the lone female. "Why don't you accompany us on our search so I can get to know you some more? What's your name?"
Her feet picked up as she took the lead in the travel order. She supposed she was now in the company of wolves who were more familiar with the terrain than she, but she had a location in mind.
Addressing: Taliaia , Katsumi , Breezy , @atlas Mentioned: Scout Azrath , @simonn Approaching: Mace , Kylo , @hux , @shikoba , Rey , Aurora Notes: @eira , if you're going to approach the group then you can assume Joy is also talking to Eira in her last question to Taliaia! Also, Aurora , Joy doesn't yet know Aurora is in the area but I figure they'll recognize each other once she finds the group <3 |

This land was more populated than Eira had originally thought. A sizable group of wolves were talking about something nearby. The first of these wolves she saw come into view was a white male with very unique markings. The tawny she-wolf found herself walking toward the group, partly curious as to what they were discussing, and partly interested to see if the body language of the white male was truly as inviting as it seemed. At first, Eira's movement forward was hesitant, holding her head a bit low, taking careful steps but allowing her tail to wag slightly, pleased just to be involved. She was originally interested in the other Rogue female she had seen before the group, but she didn't necessarily mind a large group like this one. This was the closest thing to a pack she had seen since she left her birthplace. Another white wolf, a female, spoke up, and was very kind as far as Eira could sense. Eira wasn't sure how rankings worked in these lands or what exactly she was getting into, but she did come here to find a new pack to join, and this opportunity wasn't one she could necessarily afford to pass up, especially since she didn't know these lands very well yet. Eira halted within reasonable speaking distance from Joy, listening to her words intently. Heavily secluded and undisturbed sounded extremely appealing. As the Sorelus Sentinel finished her inquiries and moved to advance through the lands, Eira rose her head and spoke her first words to the group, addressing Joy's question. "I am looking for a home," the lanky female started, shyly. "My name is Eira. It's a pleasure to meet all of you." A calm smile tugged at her lips and she waited to see what the other wolves would do before making any further movements. @joy | Taliaia ooc: Thanks for your patience everyone!

”Taliaia..” Her voice softer than she had first approached the strange group as she stated a response to a friendly sounding she-wolf. Said she-wolf had called herself Joy.. Sentinal Joy at that. Her grey cranium would turn towards Joy while her reddish-brown ears swivelled back to catch any movement that could be happening behind and around her. Her orbs stared with utter silent frustration, as the stress of feeling like she had something to prove bore into her. It was bad enough being stuck in this forest of muck.. She didn’t need any socializing that wouldn’t benefit her life in the future. Yet, these wolves were different than she had expected. She couldn’t quite put her paws on it yet, but there was definitely something about these wolves that intrigued her. It was something she was going to find out on her own with time. Once again she would force herself to relax, a quiet sigh leaving her lips as she attempted to take everything in and be less defensive. Eventually Taliaia’s patience has paid off as another fellow rogue introduced herself. The name fit her lanky body and calm but shy personality thus far.. her purpose of being in the forest and her introduction had been done in a rather shy way throughout the whole thing, which was fine. Since, that told her she wasn’t the only one to feel a bit of unease in this predicament. She had stated that her name was Eira.. and she seemed to also be a rogue like herself. These wolves were not here for a fight or were they a pack territory patrol.. These wolves were simply looking for new members that would suite their pack’s ranks. It was something she would deeply consider, while it would probably take her some time to trust a lot of them. But she had learned some basic skills from her pack that she’d be willing to share and put work into when the time came. Joy's look of disapproval did not go unnoticed by the brute as he swung his massive cranium to check on the group behind him. Azrath raised a brow. Was she displeased with how he handled aggressive wolves who posed a threat, ready to jump into action, even though he had given them no reason to? The male thought he did well, he didn't give rise and he didn't respond aggressively, simply did not play into their tough act, responded coolly and showed that was not a behavior he was going to tolerate in conversation and even explained why he acted that way. She sure took long enough to speak to the group of wolves before them, and he couldn't help the stir of annoyance in his stomach; why even give him the opportunity to take the lead if she was just going to take it back and step on his paws while doing so? Surely he was supposed to look out for the well-being of his own pack first and foremost. They definitely did not want wolves who would start scuffles at the drop of a leaf. But once Katsumi and Breezy had dropped their defenses, he reciprocated, a doggy grin finding his maw and his tail taking a more relaxed position, even wagging it lazily to show he wasn't a threat, not that he was one to begin with. When Eira and Taliaia spoke up, he smiled softly to them. "I'm Azrath, and that quiet guy is Simon, my brother." He sighed softly, casting a look back to his brother momentarily before following along behind the group now, walking in stride with his contrasting sibling, knocking his shoulder into Simon's black one, walking in silence. @joy @eira Taliaia @simonn

Eira seemed a sweet girl. Joy found it easy to relax her body and stop words of doubt from clouding her security when the soft she-wolf introduced herself. She returned a cheerful sway of the tail, insinuating her acceptance and pleasure. Joy held her reservations about Taliaia, however. While sharing her name, Taliaia's focus was divided. She appeared to continuously be checking her surroundings, meaning she was running from something or she lacked a foundation of trust. Rogues like her, Joy imagines, were quick to turn against their friends for their own benefit because no mutual trust had been previously established.
Ah, but the young and ineptly social sentinel couldn't rely on her theoretical assumptions to shape her opinions of others. She often forgot about her privilege; how lucky she was to have been a pack wolf since birth, her short weeks as an independent traveler teaching her only enough to survive on her own if she had to. And even in such a short amount of time, Joy acquired an understanding of the difference between pack life and rogue life, and according to her own experiences, Taliaia had every reason not to trust the situation; or to fear a predator stalking nearby; or to feel uncomfortable in a colloquial setting between a sudden influx of strangers. It was Joy's job to help her open up to the possibility of family, not to cast her away because of something she did not know. The sentinel could tell Taliaia was making an effort to adjust, and it was enough to gain her approval.
By the time her contemplations concluded, she was in a new territory, one she had explored a few weeks ago. It was so heavily blanketed in fresh scents that she hardly recognized the location, but one particular smell caught her attention above all others. She traced along the indicated path of auras until she spotted a tiny, dark dot in the center of a ditch.
"Aurora?" Joy inquired quietly as she analyzed the little figure. It was certain now. "Aurora! It's me, Joy!" Joy smiled, a tail waving like leaves on a stormy day. In all honesty, Joy never expected to see the pup again. She had instilled false hope, so she thought. But Joy was ecstatic that she was able to keep her word.
"Az, Simon, take the recruits and investigate the area. There's a pocket of rogues nearby. I'll take care of the little one and meet you over there," she yipped, the truest smile she had ever formed appearing on her lips. It might just have been the first that Simon and Azrath had ever seen, perhaps because it was the first time Joy had really experienced joy.

Throughout the entire reunion, Hux kept himself busy, his brows furrowing as he worked on the makeshift bandage he had made for Shikoba, murmuring small questions like "Can you see?" and "Is that too tight? You have to tell me, the last thing we need is a splitting headache on top of a concussion. You might not want to go to sleep for a little while, keep yourself busy...shouldn't be hard." Hux finally looked up when Kylo retorted back to Shikoba, his blatant disregard seeming to span to more than just his own schedule. It truly was tiring traveling with a less than concerned wolf with no real aim and it did become tiresome. His ears flattened against his head. "Perhaps you should go with your precious Rey, Kylo. After all this is your doing. Or just move away, how would you like to be talked at with a head wound the size of an elk hoof? And Mace, obviously my purpose here is to take care of Shikoba, can't you tell?" the venom in his words practically dripped from his maw, sarcasm being his first go to to an unwarranted jab at his being. Approaching pawfalls fell onto red ears and as much as Hux was the life of the party, the last thing he wanted was more wolves to join. Kylo had honestly been enough for him. Hux's head fell down for a moment as he steeled himself for personal interaction, honestly if he had been left alone, this bandage would have probably been finished by now. Azrath listened as Joy seemed to shout out to someone she knew, someone he hadn't seen before. The small pup lay in wait, under a log it seemed and joy had obviously met her before. He watched the interaction, and nodded to Joy as she instructed that he and his brother take the recruits and visit the band of rogues that he had initally steered away from, but did as he was told as now he was not to take charge. The brute made his way over to the group consisting of an odd coywolf looking thing working on a small black female, a black male, a white female and an older male who consisted of chestnut, black and cream. They all seemed rather annoyed with each other's presence, and the coywolf worked busily, making quick remarks here and there but seemed to ultimately keep his focus on the injured female. The snowy male increased his trot, making his way over to offer his help if it was needed. Not like he was much of a salutary, but he would try his best to help where he could. Even if these wolves seemed unfriendly. "Hey, you need some help there?" He called out, the words the wolves spoke falling just short of his ears, he came in unfamiliar of the wolves relation to each other and he honestly didn't care, so long as Shikoba got the care that she needed. @shikoba Mace Rey Kylo @joy Aurora Katsumi Breezy @atlas @eira Taliaia

Taliaia followed as the wolves began to move, her paws falling almost hesitantly upon the damp pine needles and the muck below them. It had been awhile since she had walked with other wolves, so this was something she found as a slight comfort as well as causing some insecurities to pop up. Insecurities that she felt were best to keep to herself, though her silence would be noticed the more they walked on. Azrath, seemed to also look a bit friendlier once they began to move. The brute introducing himself and his brother before he too would follow Joy. She still wasn’t sure if she should even be following these strange wolves but life is what it is. It wasn’t too long of a walk when Joy’s energy seemed to suddenly burst with, erm.. Joy? Taliaia lifted her head in attempt to see what was so exciting to the younger she-wolf, spotting a small pup. Did Joy know the pup? Should they be worried about a over protective mother? Or maybe the pup was abandoned.. Her head would begin to tilt in concern as the many questions filled her head with silent worry, but a quick shake of her head and Joy’s words to Azrath and Simon to take the ‘recruits’ to investigate the area had cleared such thoughts. She wasn’t sure where the she-wolf got that idea. She had no intention of sticking around an area with fresh scents that could possibly be very unwelcoming. Though she would only glare and turn abruptly towards one of the brutes to once again follow, only this time her pad falls and body language would be obvious to her annoyance with these strange wolves. Her neck fur beginning to rise as the group came across yet another group of strangers within the muddy pines. “Hey! You need some help there?” Pfft, ones hurt. Perhaps it’s best to continue to keep quiet and see what they could do to help. Azrath seemed rather willing, but she was ready to fight if need be. Shikoba was quick to answer Hux as he continued to work, even after her annoyed rant moments before he continued shifting the bandage and applying pressure while he worked quickly. The coywolf finally questioned her about whether she could see to which Shikoba answered, “Yes I believe so, the light hurts a bit but otherwise I can see the dirt just fine.” Then Hux questioned her about whether the bandage was too tight, “No it doesn’t feel like it’s too tight, I won’t sleep though, not so long as we’re off schedule at least…” Kylo’s retort at her rant though sent waves of anger spreading through her once more, a growl beginning deep in her chest, while she opened her mouth to answer the large brute with as much sarcasm as she could muster through the fogginess in her mind. Before she could answer though Hux was already responding to the black male with sarcasm and venom, “Perhaps you should go with your precious Rey, Kylo. After all this is your doing. Or just move away, how would you like to be talked at with a head wound the size of an elk hoof? And Mace, obviously my purpose here is to take care of Shikoba, can't you tell?” Shikoba’s black maw shut quickly, more shocked at him standing up for her against who the female had supposed was Hux's friend but based off the red male's reaction Kylo it appeared, was not Hux's friend, the coy wolf even went so far as to tell him to leave. The small mouth then opened again, speaking quietly so that only Hux could hear her words now, “Thank you Hux, I appreciate you taking the time to bandage my head and also for taking up for me, it's more than anyone else has ever done for me so thank you.”The approaching paw steps caught her attention, her lithe muscles tensing up just under her black pelt, of course there were more wolves coming, how many more wolves were going to make an appearance when she could not actually move to see them, it was infuriating to the small black wolf. She had never been worried about other wolves before, she was quick and could escape but now she couldn’t, the small, black wolf couldn’t run now, and even if she did she wouldn’t make it far. Shikoba knew that she was also capable in a fight but the same concept still applied, she had a hole in her head and a concussion, trying to fight or run was useless, she just had to hope that the approaching wolves wouldn’t be hostile, and in the experience of the female the world around them wasn’t exactly a friendly one. The black paws moved slowly in the dirt before she spoke quickly to Hux, “How many of them are coming? Do they appear hostile?” Shikoba was obviously a bit nervous about the approaching wolves, she could only hope that Hux would understand her nervousness, but either way it would not change Shikoba’s attitude towards him or the approaching wolves. @hux Kylo Rey Mace Scout Azrath @joy Taliaia

Rey hadn't been entirely bothered by the presence of the unknown female, her attention had been more-so fixated on Kylo until he spun his head around to talk to her. "No one's keeping you here Shikoba, if you wish to leave you are more than welcome to." The she-wolf's white brow furrowed at his words, not surprised by the harsh tone, but almost disappointed to see that he was still clinging onto that seed of hostility that Snoke had buried deep within him. She had seen a lighter side to him, soft, venerable and scared all in the same ways she was. They were no different, merely two sides of the same coin. Yet Mace had advised her not to waste any time on a wolf like him, so far-gone with his mentor's teachings that he had forgotten what it was like to live in a headspace without fear and hatred. Yet something within her told her not to give up, she only needed to nurture that kindling of hope that she had seen that night, a shred of her truely believed that he was not lost yet. "Mace, still wandering the wilderness searching for a purpose I see." The black brute's comment evoked nothing from Rey, she merely shuffled an inch closer to her mentor in a slightly defensive stance, hoping the two males wouldn't loose each other in their pride. "Not quite. My purpose has been clear to me for a long time now, the only ones that seem to lack purpose here are you two, can't speak for the female, as I can't really tell who she is.” Rey relaxed as Mace seemed to do the same, though her heart still thundered within her ribs as she anxiously awaited the outcome of this tedious interaction. “Purpose, it's a very interesting word to describe this situation, something has reunited our paths once again, call it chance, call it destiny or call it a force…but for what purpose, exactly? Are you here to stand in our way, or can we actually cooperate for a change?" A slight sway made its way to Rey's tail with the guidance of her mentor's words. The idea of cooperation was what she was wanting to achieve at the end of this, and she could only hope that Kylo would feel the same, perhaps even joining them to learn something better than what he had experienced in his past. "Perhaps you should go with your precious Rey, Kylo. After all this is your doing. Or just move away, how would you like to be talked at with a head wound the size of an elk hoof? And Mace, obviously my purpose here is to take care of Shikoba, can't you tell?" Rey immediately tried to ignore the idea that Kylo would consider her to be precious to him, starving off the blush that threatened her cheeks, instead focusing on Kylo as she spoke her next words. “No more fighting Kylo, it’s all over. We’re not enemies, and perhaps we never were. But you’re still fighting it, that urge for power that has poisoned you. I can see it, I can feel it. Please stay with us, stay with me. We can be better.”

Black ears pinned against a wide cranium as frustration bubbled beneath Kylo's black pelt, at his very center; this was the feeling that would lead to the anger he was always taught to tap into, the anger that gave him his edge, the anger that would lead to a genuine blood-lust, he was never taught to hold back, he lacked the ability, he had too much courage to ever back down. He had expected a remark to come from Shikoba after he had challenged the small sassy female, instead it came from Hux, not really a surprise, when did he ever give up the chance to exchange words with the Yukon, if he weren't sure he was absolutely mistaken he would think it was Hux's way of showing affection. He was somewhat concerned by the male's reasoning however, when was the ex-general ever one to place himself infront of another? it was very uncharacteristic of him, he had always had goals set on self preservation. Perhaps he was afraid Kylo would hurt the smaller black female? Perhaps he held feelings for her? A weakness. This revelation made his head tilt some in thought, he hadn't believed the Coywolf was capable of such things, cold at his very center, calculating to his core, and selfish as they come, if Kylo was correct though, some degree of this was false. This made him think about Rey, what he had felt with her, that strange feeling of a feather between his ribs. He heard the words Hux said to him, registered them in his head, then he felt empathy for one of the first times he ever had in his life. Hux cared about the smaller black wolf, he may not have realized it yet but Kylo had all the proof he needed, years spent with the other were all the proof he needed. Red and white eyes moved to watch as a large white scout walked forward, aiming to help Shikoba, however something possessed the Yukon to hurriedly place himself between the Scout, his Coywolf companion and Shikoba behind him as he stood as tall as he could, feeling somewhat small for the first time in his life, the scout was very big indeed, but the only one who could prove a challenge against him. Black hackles rose as he gave a deep snarl, lips pulled back over gleaming canines as he stood tall. "We are not in need of any help from a bunch of pack wolves."what a shitty situation, first Shikoba's injury, then Mace's medling, Rey's presence, now a large group of pack wolves and a rogue that looked like she wanted to fight. His red and white eyes looked over to Taliaia "If you're here to fight it'll be the last mistake you ever make."He growled protectively, not wanting any of his small band of misfits to gain scars like the ones he sported because some pack wolves and their band of rogues decided they wanted to fight. He looked over to Rey as she spoke in her usual calm tone, “No more fighting Kylo, it’s all over. We’re not enemies, and perhaps we never were. But you’re still fighting it, that urge for power that has poisoned you. I can see it, I can feel it. Please stay with us, stay with me. We can be better.” stay with me. He played the words over in his head and felt conflict settle in his soul, a familiar tearing feeling. He would go with her, but only after he had stopped these pack wolves from 'further putting them off schedule'as Shikoba would say if she wasn't sporting a nasty concussion. He turned his head back to Azrath, eyes still seeming fiery, still hesitant, never trusting. "Be on your way and we will be on our own." he said with a bit less bite, but just as much conviction, of this he was sure.

Hackles rose as a snarl crossed Taliaia’s features, her fangs barely covered by her raising lips. She had meant to to keep quiet but this brute had to have a squirrel for a brain if he thought it was a good idea to provoke a band of pack wolves and refuse help for the clearly injured. ”And who might you be?” Her voice sharp as her cold brown orbs bore into the red and white ones of the brute. ”No..Who do you think you are?! A viscous chipmunk? Azrath here was just trying to offer assistance.. ” The insult ignored the size of the brute, she really didn’t care at the moment. Those big ears of hers would flatten as she turned herself and took a hesitant but non-threatening step towards the coywolf that seemed to be the healer of sorts within the group. ” As for me, I don’t want a fight. If I did, somebody would be running with their tails tucked between their legs and you’d have more wolves to patch up.” Her voice softened as she tried to recover after the outburst, while glancing back towards Azrath and the others. Unsure of wether or not she caused more harm than good. She would never apologize to a wolf like that. He wanted snark and some sense knocked into him, he got it. There was no need for a reaction like that towards someone who offered help. ”The more wolves the quicker we all get out of here or go our separate ways. If not, I don’t know about you guys but If they are gonna be like that I am out of here.” Only a yearling and she already felt exhausted with everything. Too many strangers and angry chipmunks today. Atlas kept his mouth shut after he addressed Azrath. He glanced at his two comrades and decided it was best just to stick with them. He wasn't sure about joining a pack after the commentary that was given but Atlas had no where else to go so the small male just clamped his jaws shut and decided to stick close to Breezy and Katsumi. He didn't say anything else to anyone around and merely decided to listen to all that was going on. He didn't mind following the pack wolves if they were willing to have his small group trailing behind. It wasn't long though before other rogues and loners ended up showing up. Too intimidated by the other strangers he did not fully now; as he knew Katsumi and Breezy more than the others thus far, and merely stayed back with ears pressed back slightly and eyes warily watching others. When he had someone like Breezy and Katsumi around him he had no problem shrinking back a little to get out of the spotlight. He was friendly when you got to know him but being so...bombarded by a lot of wolves was not something that the grey male knew how to handle at one time with so many people talking to each other he didn't know where to fit in or step to. He didn't like the many outbursts seemingly to go along and too man emotions filtering through everyone that his senses went on overdrive and he couldn't help but feel paranoid a little bit and pressed further to Breezy's side as she seemed to be the only one who seemed to be kind enough to him. Notes: Sorry for the late reply guys! Been busy at work and other issues going on! Hadn't had much time to get on. Tags: Breezy Scout Azrath Taliaia @hux Katsumi

And Mace, obviously my purpose here is to take care of Shikoba, can't you tell?" spat Hux with his usual and bitter sarcasm, directed to most present, even Kylo himself. Mace just looked at the green eyed wolf, thinking up a response that made the Timber wolf smile. "And here I thought your whole purpose in life was shielding yourself behind someone stronger than you, while talking shit," he punched back, with a big grin drawn on his face. "I call this progress".
Hux's comment seemed to have made it's way to Rey. He could feel his apprentice's embarassment radiating from her face, yet nonetheless, she demostrated her strenght once again by pulling through the situation and speaking her own mind. “No more fighting Kylo, it’s all over. We can be better”. Pride had just begun to settle in, when a group of wolves came around, walking towards them, led by a tall white male, with a black spot on his face. “Hey! You need some help there?” he asked, in a tone which indicated honesty, or at least, that was what his instinct told him. "We are not in need of any help from a bunch of pack wolves," growled out Kylo, standing before the white wolf in order to protect Hux and Shikoba from whatever danger the tall stranger was capable of. "If you're here to fight it'll be the last mistake you ever make," he added, specifically directing his threat to the small female that stood alongside the newcomers. ”No..Who do you think you are?! A viscous chipmunk? Azrath here was just trying to offer assistance.. ”
she replied, clearly annoyed by Kylo's temperament. ” As for me, I don’t want a fight. If I did, somebody would be running with their tails tucked between their legs and you’d have more wolves to patch up.”
Tensions were high, so Mace decided to step in, and maybe calm the waters a bit. "Considering your size and our fighting experience, with all due respect, I believe that would be a stupid-ass decision, youngling," said the brown male, referring to Taliaia. "Kylo, back off a bit. Something has reunited us all, let's see at least what brought them all here." The veteran wolf looked at this "Azrath" character, analyzing his eyes, his body language. Trying to find any reason as to not thrust the tall male. "Out of your way for the sole selfless reason of helping others. You've got my respect. Nice to meet you, my name is Mace".

A Fighter, a Friend, a Foe. That's who Tempest is

After days, no weeks Tempest had been wandering through trees and climbing over rocks. Her sharp claws were filed, her paws were aching and her stomach was begging for food. So far no hunt had been successful for her. whether it be another wolf stealing her meal, or because the young wolf was just simply too exhausted to run after it. Slowly walking through the trees, Tempest heard loud talking not too from her. She lifted her nose into the air to get a whiff of the animals. There were lots of wolves, so if they tried to attack her, she would most likely have to flee. The she-wolf was not in the mood to talk to anyone right now so she decided to ignore the group and walk to a sport further away from them. She heard from a passerby that Muddy Pines is the place where rogues can get accepted into the Sorelus pack. She had been wanting to join a pack for some time now, the comfortable feeling she had when she was in a pack was far too nostalgic. Cautiously sitting down in the shade, Tempest slowly relaxed. Her rests were now getting much longer as time went by, she could never properly sleep due to always being alert of her surroundings, in case some bear or wolf comes too close to her. Blocking out the talking, chirping and rustling, Tempest slowly walked to a big tree with a huge hollow. She stepped inside the tree and laid down on the dry pine needles. She slowly closed her eyes and drifted into a light sleep with the thought of getting into the pack and food.
