Dorsey Hiccup "Wanna Play!?"
Dorsey was relieved that he had spoken. His violet and lavender gaze fell warily on Ashi in hopes that he would speak up next but the next speaker was actually a small wolf. A pup, maybe? "My name is Wynston. I'm bad with words but I can hunt okay and I like learning," The pink-nosed male smiled gently at the younger male. He was, after all, rather relatable since Dorsey also had speech problems. "Hello. I am Trico. I traveled here searching for an opportunity to open up and put my skills to better use. I despise violence, but I will protect my family with my life, and I can take on almost any threat. I'm not a very fast runner, but I can take down large kills fairly easily. If you would have me, I promise I would be nothing less but of use to your pack," That one seemed okay, perhaps a potential friend. "My name is Storm and I have no use for extra words, just the facts. I'm good for fighting and hunting." Dorsey Hiccup found that he... wasn't exactly sure about that wolf. He seemed fine, sure, but what he lacked was volume, at least in Dorsey's opinion. “Hello. I’m Topaz, I can assure you I won’t waste your time. I’m primarily skilled in fighting, developing and adjusting skills to fit any wolf,” This one was slightly better. Dorsey shook his head slightly, telling himself to stop judging. These wolves could be really nice if he got to know them better. Perhaps they were shy or had problems they were dealing with.
"I'm Wanda, this is Cosmo. I'm primarily skilled in hunting, particularly tracking and herding elk or deer. But, I'm always willing to try something new." The dust pelted male smiled as best he could but he could feel himself growing impatient and he began to chew on his paw again to try and calm his energy level. "As Wanda said, I'm Cosmo! I am willing to do just about anything for a pack." Oh! He had pretty eyes too! Dorsey had been told his eyes were uniquely colored before, now he had someone with similar eye-colors. "Ray...vis," Dorsey only smiled. Seemed there were more wolves then he thought that had similar troubles.
"Trico, Topaz, Storm, Uzumati, Cosmo and Wanda, I hope that you will all prove to be great additions to Somnus, and I look forward to working alongside you." Dorsey Hiccup halted his chewing momentarily to think over the Alphess's words. He hadn't been chosen? His chewing began again, more nervous energy making it hard not to break the skin on his paw as he gnawed harder. He watched her as she looked toward him and Wiggles and Ray-vis. Was she going to accept them or turn them away? "Wiggles, Dorsey Hiccup and Ravus, I will very happily supply each of you with a place to call home, and hopefully we will be able to find a suitable place for you among our ranks." Dorsey sighed happily, melting into relaxation from his tensely seated position. All he could managed was a silently lipped "Thank You" in reply to such a gift as being given a family and a home. He was in. He had a home to get to know, new friends to make, pack wolves to learn about. It was all so overwhelming that a part of him wanted to cripple and hide away where no one would ever see him. But no time for that now! He could fight that urge and celebrate now. Later he could hide. Maybe.
Too excited to think properly, Dorsey didn't hear the rest of the Alphess's words but when she stood up and began to leave with the other wolves following, he scampered gleefully to his paws to follow. He forgot to look for any new friends or even his previous acquaintance, Ashi, before he was bounding after his new Alphess and Delta.

Wynston
Wynston watched in complete silence, ears pricked to listen with interest to his fellow rouges make their statements. It would only be a matter of time before the Alphess would have to pick and choose which wolves would stay and go. Many of the rouges made good speeches which meant they would likely be accepted. Again, Wynston felt the sinking feeling that he would be outnumbered by better wolves and forced into the rouge lands. Again. There was Trico, a sturdy and fair male who was sure to be accepted, Storm, a wolf who... maybe had good intentions. The one that caught his attention was a towering brute cloaked in silver, gray and tan. “Hello,” Wynny noticed his manners with the Alphess and wished he had thought of his manners when he thought of what to say. Too late now. “I’m Topaz, I can assure you I won’t waste your time. I’m primarily skilled in fighting, developing and adjusting skills to fit any wolf.” The ebony pointed pup looked at the wolf with interest and curiosity. 'Adjusting skills to fit any wolf'? What did that mean? Just how does one change their skills to help another? Wynston kept a mental note to talk to Topaz, ask him what he meant and maybe pick up a few new skills or facts while he was at it.
Some of the last to speak were average it seemed but Wynston smiled kindly at them for they seemed like pleasant folk. Then there was uh... Ray-vis as he said it. An interesting name or whatever. That was all that spoke even though there were two more males who had stayed oddly silent. That had happened at, what was it now, Ferus? Ferus, that was it. He remembered that from several of the wolves. They probably got accepted even though they said nothing. Wynston huffed quietly at the thought but he reminded himself of where he currently was. At the borders of a nicer pack. A pack that could still accept him.
With no one else speaking up, the ebony pointed pup guessed it was time to learn who was accepted. And who wasn't. "Trico, Topaz, Storm, Uzumati, Cosmo and Wanda, I hope that you will all prove to be great additions to Somnus, and I look forward to working alongside you." His heart leaped into his throat. She hadn't said his name but there was still a chance. "Wiggles, Dorsey Hiccup and Ravus, I will very happily supply each of you with a place to call home, and hopefully we will be able to find a suitable place for you among our ranks." Okay, okay. Not yet but maybe in another moment. The pup felt her eyes sweep to him and he tensed, his eyes begging her to think of how useful he could be when he was older, trying desperately to show her that he too was worth it. Please. She was smiling now, a good sign. "Wynston, I expect that you could amount to greatness with a good amount of training, and I would be very happy to accept you into Somnus as well," Instead of jumping for joy or falling into a heap of happiness, Wynny just beamed. It felt like a weight of his shoulder and an open door all at once. He listened as the others were dismissed and, in truth, he felt truly sorry for them. He smiled at them apologetically before he perked up to listen to his last words from the Alphess as a rouge. "The rest of you, please follow myself and my brother Draco into Somnus where you will be able to meet with your new pack-mates, and ranks will be discussed."
Wynston gladly began to follow, stepping into line with the male she had spoken of, Draco. He fidgeted in slight nervousness but he smiled at him gently. "Hi, uh, mistah Dra-co." He said his name in a funny way since he was saying it for the first time. He only hoped that the large male wouldn't get angry or laugh.

Topaz "Great things never came form comfort zones."
Topaz glanced around once more, before settling his stark amber eyes on the ear’s of the dainty Alphess. Her unwavering gaze rolled around the surplus of wolves. He was almost fooled, but, everything fell into place quickly. That sour look on her sibling’s face, her contentedness with his walking ahead of her, and the slight prickles of anxiety he could swear licked at her eyes like fire. Perhaps she was new, just granted this role of superiority. Maybe his inquiry would be answered shortly. Flicking his tail passively, the handsome brute calmly awaited his fate. Would he continue the mind-numbing travels as a Rogue, or would he become a noble member of Somnus pack?
"Trico, Topaz, Storm, Uzumati, Cosmo and Wanda, I hope that you will all prove to be great additions to Somnus, and I look forward to working alongside you." His eyes widened, before the grin he attempted to hide tugged at the corners of his mouth. Coughing to hide his glee, he quickly scrambled to regain his serious, powerful composure. Shaking his head, then his body to rid it of imaginary dirt and dust, the combat specialist sighed, focusing on the air flowing in his lungs, then drifting out as his body contracted. Once the burst of glee, and adrenaline subsided into a small feeling of excitement chewing at his heart, Topaz looked up again, allowing his head and shoulders to dip in a respectful bow. He didn’t trust himself to speak without stammering.
Quickly, a number of wolves were accepted alongside him. But, his mind was already refocused. Everyone was coupling up, speaking with whoever they travelled alongside, or even introducing themselves to someone new. Suddenly, Topaz was conflicted. Who would he approach? That other male, Trico, seemed awful similar to him, but the chocolate hued pretty boy seemed to have no interest in socialization. No harm there. Perhaps he could prove to be a suitable sparring partner, to freshen up the both of their skills?
As everyone began to walk, Topaz veered towards him, bounding a few paces to catch up to the fellow male. Nodding curtly, he eyed him as the two walked. If the wolf showed any interest in slight conversation, Topaz would oblige. But, if they were to walk in silence, so be it.

Listening to the rest of the rogues speak their names, some still unable to do so fully, he watches the other rogues and the two pack wolves, the Alphess and another. When it gets quiet and everyone seems to be looking at the Alphess or the ground or whatever else can capture their interest, Storm watches both Draco and the Alphess as well. He is trying to decide if how this pack will be if he is accepted, solely based on how they both act and look. Who the Alphess accepts will also tell him a lot about this pack, if they are soft hearted, cold or in between both. Honestly, he is hoping that they aren't completely soft, that they have some ice in their bones. While in thought and eyes on the male pack wolf, the Alphess speeks, "Trico, Topaz, Storm, Uzumati, Cosmo and Wanda, I hope that you will all prove to be great additions to Somnus, and I look forward to working alongside you." Hearing his name, Storm gives a slight dip of his head in response, a silent thank you almost. The other names, his eyes glance over, though when she begins to call out other names, ones that seem to be gentle and soft rogues, he knows that there is more softness here then ice. He knows from his travels, that a gentle and soft rogue doesn't survive unless they depend on others, that's what he saw when he was in rare groups, which was why he never stayed. Oh well. Time might make them harder, and only time can tell. "The rest of you, please follow myself and my brother Draco into Somnus where you will be able to meet with your new pack-mates, and ranks will be discussed." Hearing his new Alphess speak, he looks back at the male, Draco, and then back to the Alphess, trying to see resemblance, but the dark and light... Doesn't matter to him really, just curious. Storm follows the Alphess and Draco back to Somnus Common grounds, not walking beside anyone so they don't try and start a conversation. -Exit to Somnus Commons- tags- Alphess Eureka Alpha Draco @trico @topaz @uzumati @cosmo @wanda

Yiska heard her name being called, and the voice was all too familiar. She was rather excited, she had reached her goal. She had found her brother. She couldn't help but wiggle her rear in anticipation of her brother, and when he came barreling towards her, she let a smile pry open her mouth as he crash tackled her to the ground. They went rolling for a short distance before stopping. She was absolutely overwhelmed with the love she had for her brother, and thus she would bring herself to look towards her brother and start licking him and then pushed him off of her. The two had grown a lot since they had last saw each other, and it came as no surprise that Weayaya was a little larger than Yiska in size. The two siblings also looked vastly different. Yiska was pitch black, while Weayaya contained a red hue, and with his white and blue colored eyes, she knew that he was definitely difference in appearance. Bringing her yellow eyes to look towards the group of rogues that were not too far away, she could see that there were many wanting acceptance into the pack. She wondered if she would be accepted because she knew Weayaya. She didn't want to travel this entire way to just be denied from being with her brother. Hopefully the Alpha would understand. As she watched, she could vaguely hear what the Alphess was saying, and she knew that she was not accepting some of the wolves that were there. There seemed to be a certain air around some of them that screamed they were not accepted, and she felt terrible for them.
Watching as the brown she-wolf approached, she saw that she was absolutely beautiful, and Yiska's eyes widened a little at how gracefully the other walked. She had barely been listening to what the Alphess was saying as she approached Weayaya, as she admired the female already. Hopefully Yiska could become friends with her! As she zoned back in on the conversation, she heard the Alphess say that Weayaya could introduce Yiska to the Alphess. Looking to her brother, she smiled towards him, her tail wagging slowly. This meant that she was going to find a home with her brother! She was going to finally be with him again. Her tail wagged behind her happily and she looked to the female that was in charge of the pack. "I'm Yiska, Weayaya's sister, it's really nice to meet you miss," She said with a polite dip of her head. She would then start to follow, giving Weayaya a playful nudge as she would pass him. She was going to find out what her brother had been up to for the past several months. She wanted to know what had happened to him, who he had befriended, what this pack was about, and everything else.
Following along, she hoped that the she-wolf walking in front of her would tell Yiska her name as well.

ℝavus "I can't exist within my own head," He could have sworn that his heart stopped beating as soon as his name slipped from the Alphess' lips. He was safe. These wolves wouldn't be able to heal his scars, they wouldn't be able to stop the nightmares that plagued the darkest depths of his sleep, they wouldn't be able to fix his issues; but he was safe. Finally.
"The rest of you, please follow myself and my brother Draco into Somnus where you will be able to meet with your new pack-mates, and ranks will be discussed." The guardian-angel spoke again, her words making Ravus's mind numb with a strange emotion that he hadn't felt in four years. Was it happiness, excitement, glee? The waste of life couldn't tell, but he knew that it was something frighteningly positive. His breath hitched tight in his throat, practically asphyxiating him as he realised that he was walking forward, one paw after the other as he ended up trailing behind the Alphess and her group of new wolves.
Ravus eventually noticed a larger alabaster male fall back from the main group, his warm aura drifting closer and closer towards the scarred male. The raven blinked. Was this stranger bring friendly? Nerves began to bundle in the male's stomach. He would've said 'hello', or 'nice to meet you', but he had been taught that these words would be unappreciated, even if he did manage to speak them without a rasp or choke. Ravus kept his head lowered and his tail tucked as he simply drifted closer to the younger male's side, a mute gesture that would've been enough to the let anyone know that he was grateful for the alabaster's warm and masculine presence.

Draco looked towards his sister as she talked to the wolves, she was seemingly in favor for the ones that would not survive very long on their own. He knew that there was something wrong with some of them, simply because of the way they acted. He knew that his sister would cater to them, and as she did, he would not provide any insight. Instead, he would simply turo his head away. He knew that he was only there to protect his sister from coming into harms way. That was his only purpose in coming here. It wasn't to sit here and be able to judge these wolves. If he had, he knew that he would have only kept the able-bodied, and told the rest that they were not welcomed in the pack. His attitude towards outsiders was something that he did not adopt from any of his family. The male seemingly only approved of those that were going to carry their weight, and it felt wrong for Draco to judge wolves that way. But that's how he was. His brain was programmed to think like that. Looking towards Weayaya and his sister, who named herself Yiska, he would follow behind his sibling wordlessly. Bringing himself to the head of the group just to protect them from any oncoming harm that could potentially happen while they were on their way back to the commons. .:: Exit to Commons ::.

Ash didn't remember much, but when he awoke Dorsey was gone. How long had he passed out for? Stars above didn't even know. Where the hell was he again? Big gold eyes turned from left to right as large paws lifted the huge body. His head turned to look over his shoulder before scents flooded a black leathery nose. Right. He was on pack grounds. Somnus was it? Damn he really had it bad. A slight throb in his cranium told him he probably shouldn't be moving all to much, yet this was trespassing as it was. He probably needed to jet sometime soon - just incase some pack wolf decided to find him. He didn't know how they would react, could be violent. A slight grunt left his throat as he began to take a few steps yet it was as if his limbs weren't fully awake yet and his front leg buckled slightly.
An annoyed sigh heaved from his chest. "Have it your way, just 5 minutes." he grumbled to himself, a cute mad-pout on his handsome face as he gently began to lay down once more, willing his aching body and slight headache away.

| | The trees were swaying ever so gently as the breeze danced between the leaves. Sunlight streaming down onto the land, and it being more than ever beautiful. Somnus territory was one of the most beautiful lands that she could have ever called home. White snowy lands were something she blended well with, as that's where her family came from. But Violet felt at home in the green shrubbery, feeling the peaceful breeze brush against the back of her ears as she walked across the borders, hips swaying as she walked. Her head was held high, something she had adopted from being a superior for so long. She could barely remember the times that she had let her head droop and be rather submissive. Those times had been so long ago, that it seemed like the female had lived her life as a superior.
Drifting her head towards the Somnus and Noctis borders, she could hear the faint howl of the siblings. She was at the border closest to them, so of course she would be able to har it. However, if you were deep in Somnus territory, it would only be heard from an echo, and would almost sound like you were hearing things. She was glad that the siblings were headed to see their brother. It definitely would give them something to do, and Eureka could learn from Luke. She was sure the male was doing well, especially if he was the Alpha and had a mate. She wondered how he had come to charm Fire. But maybe she would ask him that when he came home to visit, or when they passed each other one day on the borders. That would be quite a rare circumstance, but she knew that she would want to ask him how he was doing on his affairs, and who knows? Maybe he had a litter in the time that they hadn't seen each other. Love was definitely in the air, but it wasn't for her. Not this year. Azaelia and Ocean seemed to be bonding since Azaelia stepped down. Draco had Aelin. She wasn't sure about Murdoch or Eureka, but maybe there was someone in the new rogue group that was sparking the young Alphess' attention.
As she was walking, she wasn't paying much attention so when she stumbled, she looked towards the mass of body that was lying on the ground, lavender eyes surprised to find a wolf here. Usually she wouldn't be able to find a wolf out here, especially considering Eureka had just dismissed most of them from the borders or brought them into the pack. Maybe this rogue had just gotten tired and stopped to take a quick nap, either way he was in pack territory. She wasn't intimidating about it though, she knew that this wolf might not mean any harm, so she wouldn't act without hearing his side of the story. "Might I ask what you're doing lying in Somnus territory?" She asked, looking towards the handsome male with a curious gaze. | OOC: @ashi (511 words) |

Why was everything white? .... And cold?! Ash blinked his large golden eyes as his vision became clear. A fluttering snowflake had landed on the very tip of his nose making the leathery tip twitch. Instantly the multi-tone tail began to wag. Snow.... "Snow!" he exclaimed with a happy yip, standing on hind legs before using his front paws to dive into the soft coldness below him. A huge grin had crossed his handsome features as he laughed, rolling in the substance and coating his fur completely. After a moment of chuckling to himself, the noise no longer left his throat as he began to think and the air filled with emptiness. Wait, wasn't he just at the Somnus borders? Where the land would be lush of green yet browning in the winter. So why was he surrounded by snow? Rolling to all fours, he scanned left to right, this place seemed familiar... Why? He started walking, he didn't know where but he let his instinct take his paws where ever it wanted to go. It felt like a memory, he's been here before, surely. Perhaps a long time ago? The soft crunch under his large paws felt like a second home.. Home.. Wait. Gold orbs blew open wide as he came to realization. Ah yes, he knew this place all too well. The mountains he grew up in, where it snowed most of the year. How did he get here? He didn't care. It was no longer instinct that told him where to go but heart. He burst into a sprint, long limbs taking him home. Yet at the pack-site there was no-one. Nothing. Just the settled snow that had long been stepped on. "Ashi.... Ash~" A voice whispered through the bitterly cold wind. Immediately the huge beast bolted after the voice, it was so familiar yet to foreign. Something he hadn't heard in years yet would haunt him every day. He swerved corners, kicking up dust-like snow as he burst through trees, where the land became slightly rockier - until it was met with ice. Panting hard, the male's eyes scanned the frozen over river, until the halted on a figuring standing in the distance. His breathing stopped, seemingly caught in his throat at his heart and stomach both plummeted. "Kito?" He called out, in which the figure starting galloping towards him. "Ash~! I knew you'd come back for me!" leaving the form of his little brothers lips. "Kito no! The ice-!" Loud cracking noises seemed to had drowned out his voice, he couldn't tell if it was the ice or his heart - or both. Jaggered lines started surrounded the younger sibling as he came bounding towards Ash's larger frame. That is until- "Kito!-" Splash.
-- A slight grunt left the pretty males throat as something all but stumbled onto him. Groggy, golden eyes flickered upwards in mild panic to meet that of lavender and- woah. Well damn isn't she the prettiest thing for miles around. His nightmare was quickly pushed to the back of his cranium (something he was rather used to) at the sight of what seemed to be a dream. A female of pure white stood in mild surprise, her scent that of a Somnus pack wolf. Oh dear. "Might I ask what you're doing lying in Somnus territory?" she asked with curiosity. Large orbs looked to the ground then back up at the she-wolf before quickly scrambling up to all fours, leaning back a bit so his height and size wasn't at all intimidating. "Right, sorry- I uh, I was here with my friend Dorsey and I think I passed out..." As if his body reminded him, the slight throb of his migraine came back and he winced slightly in pain as a long, dark ear flickered. "I was just laying down to rid me of this hell-awful headache, sorry 'bout that." he grinned sheepishly at the pretty female, his stance rather laid back. "U-uhm, I'm Ashi... By the way." the multi-toned male stuttered out, cursing the slip of the tongue infront of such a beauty. He gave a small, charming grin and awaited to hear the snowy females response - be it for him to get moving or to also share her name. The smile slightly twinged into one of a painful one, both phsyically and emotionally. The throb carried on as his heart also did so. The latter a pain he was used to.

| | Violet looked towards the male as he scrambled to his paws, his height not at all intimidating to her, but it seemed that he was trying his best to not appear too dominant towards her. She had to deal with Draco and Ocean constantly, so she knew that large wolves that stood the way they did sometimes weren't trying to stand over you. They were just tall, and that was that. No helping the fact they grow so big. He started talking about why he was at the borders, and it seemed that he was friends with one of the wolves that had been accepted. Dorsey Hiccup. Thinking that maybe this male would possibly try and join, it seems that his intentions weren't that at all. He simply gave her the excuse of having a headache. Giving him a kind look, she watched the handsome male as he kept speaking. Ashi was his name. What a cute name for someone like him. "My name's Violet Feather, I'm the Beta of Somnus," She said, looking towards him with a small, genuine smile. "If you don't mind, I think I know something that can help with your headache, if you'd be willing to try it," She said, looking towards the male, knowing that he had no reason to trust her.
She didn't mind staying here, chatting with the stranger. She had nothing else to do while the pack was out hunting, and only a few were left behind in the commons. She'd rather be here. Whether she had encountered the male or not, sometimes it was nice to look out on the lands that she hadn't touched for some time. Bringing her eyes to land once more on the very nicely colored male, she took in his features. His fur was a beautiful mix of whites and blacks swirling along his entire body, while a very well suited 'mask' of black was upon his face, bringing the gold in his eyes to gleam even more brightly in the sunlight was shining down on top of the both of them. Looking away from the male and looking around them, she settled herself into a comfortable position, hoping that the male wouldn't leave too soon. | OOC: @ashi |

Ash could feel his cheeks flush with heat as the ivory gem offered him a kind look. She sure was so damn pretty. The heat in his face only seemed to tenfold as she gave him a small gorgeous smile. "My name's Violet Feather, I'm the Beta of Somnus. If you don't mind, I think I know something that can help with your headache, if you'd be willing to try it." A large smile appeared on the attractive males face. "Violet Feather.." he repeated, borderline of a whisper, as if to really remember that name. Engraving it in his mind, then again, how the hell could he forget such a cutie? Wait- Beta? Ah shit.Quickly golden eyes darted downwards to the mass of white fur along the females chest, instead of captivating lilac orbs. Well there went any chance of Ash trying to play it cool, ah well, he could still try. This seemed like rather a nice pack if their Beta was out here talking to a rogue. A trespassing rogue nonetheless. Or perhaps the little female was just a kind soul. Ashi gave a shy smile and a small nod to the snow-pelted wolf. "Yeah, I'd like that, Beta Violet Feather of Somnus." his voice was a little teasing as the shy smile morphed into an attractive grin. The mottled male had always been a playful lupine, it was just in his nature to joke around. Four giant paws stood to proper height as the childish male waited for the pretty little Beta to lead him to whatever she had in mind. To be honest, he really enjoyed her company - although she had only said about 4 sentences, she seemed sweet. Since Ash had long been gone from Iris' companionship and the albeit rather sudden reunion and then loss of Dorsey, this was really rather nice for the huge male. His black tipped tail swayed lightly as he slowly looked the gorgeous female up and down. Every strand of fur seemed to be placed perfectly, and those dazzling purple eyes could just about draw anyone in. Ashi would loved to have been friends with this Violet Feather, but he knew this probably wouldn't last forever. The Beta had pack responsibilities and well... Ash didn't. But he wouldn't think about that for now, no instead, he'd focus on whatever method the Somnus female had to get rid of his pounding headache.

| | Lavender hues watched the male as he repeated her name. Her name was rather long, so she would definitely have to shorten it a lot for him to use it easily. Looking towards him as he darted his eyes downwards, she was slightly confused, but decided to let it pass. Somnus didn't really treat high ranks as anything more than someone who kept the family together, so for him to look away from her eyes was a little disappointing, but she understood for outsiders it was probably different compared to the soft life of Somnus. As he referred to her by her title and her full name, she chuckled a little. "You can call me Violet, you don't need to be too formal," She said, looking towards him. As she thought about what she could get him, she gave him a look before turning around. "I have to go a little deeper in the territory to find it, so please wait here," She said before taking off to find whatever she needed.
Heading into the territory, she looked around, trying to find a plant that resembled daisies, but wasn't quite that. She forgot the name of the herb that she was using to cure this males headache, but she knew that it worked. She had been taught a little about the basics, and finding something like this would definitely be worth it in the end. She would have to ask Murdoch if he could help her with learning more about herbs in the future, but right now she had to focus on finding this one plant. Scouring the land for a few minutes, she looked to find that the plant was right underneath her nose, and with an excited smile upon her face, something that rarely graced her lips, she made sure to carefully grab some of the plant and pull, snapping the stem quickly, but gently.
Bringing herself back to the male, her paws were rapidly moving, not wanting to keep him waiting long. Pushing the plant towards the large lupine, she nodded to him. "This should help with the headache. Its also good if you have any other aches or pains," She said with a smile, looking towards the male. "It might taste a little weird, but in the end it should work," she kept going on, knowing that she wanted to keep talking to this male. She knew that she had pack responsibilities to take care of and everything, but something willed her to stay here with this male, and not move for just a couple more minutes. Maybe she could make a friend out of him?
That was a silly question to think. She knew that being the Beta of the pack meant that she didn't come sneaking to the borders to meet some wolf every other day, but something about the male drug her towards him. She wanted to be near him, and wanted to talk to him, to get to know him. Something told her that she needed too, but another part of her was trying to drag her back to Somnus. Maybe once she was finished here, she could go back, but she wanted to make sure the male was feeling better before she did. | OOC: @ashi |

Her chuckle was like music to his large tomb-stone like ears. She was so pretty, a pure white canvas of perfection. "You can call me Violet, you don't need to be too formal," she said, with a glance towards the male. Ash felt his cheeks heat up and gave a firm nod. Her name swimming around his head like a goldfish in a bowl. "I have to go a little deeper in the territory to find it, so please wait here," she said and before Ashi could get a word in, she had taken off to find the whereabouts of what she required. Ash let out a dreamy sigh with a soft smile to himself, looking at his paws, his smile turned shy. She sure was pretty. He shifted his claws into the moist ground a little, even with the dull throb in his head, his smile was yet to be wiped from his attractive features, fluffy tail swaying behind him. He'd wait patiently for the female to come back, that is, if she would come back. What if it was just an excuse to get away from him? A noise got caught in his throat as his smile dropped, both ears falling flat against his head. His tail came to a complete stop. No, she wouldn't just leave. Although the male had barely known her for 5 minutes, he had trust in her kindness that she would return. She was a sweet soul who had offered compassion - even after he had trespassed on her turf. A shooting pain in his head momentarily made him forget all these worries as his sharp canines clenched together. Damn headache. It didn't particularly take long for the Beta to come back, but as she padded back towards him, Ashi couldn't help but notice how the scenery just got a little more brighter. The mottled male gave a flash of a smile at the ivory she-wolf before she had pushed a plant towards his large form and nodded. "This should help with the headache. Its also good if you have any other aches or pains," Violet spoke with a smile, "It might taste a little weird, but in the end it should work." She was such a caring individual. "Thank you," his words genuine with a smile. Obediently, which was a little strange since Ash never did as he was told, grabbed the plant within his jaws before chowing down on the strange stem. His ears flattened outwards as his face showed obvious signs of disgust, his mouth causing a commotion much how like a dog does when it eats peanut butter. It wasn't the best taste he'd ever experience but he wasn't stupid enough to spit it out - knowing it was for his own good. With an audible gulp, he swallowed the thickness of chewed up plantation down his throat, a small shake of his head ridding him of the heebie-jeebies. Instantly his head felt a little lighter of pain. The dullness smoothing out as the medicine hit his digestive system and the enzymes went to work. It seemed the female was lost in thought for a moment, Ashi's golden eyes studied her, she looked rather conflicted and the rogue wanted to know why. He wanted to say something intelligent, but all that stupidly came out was "Cute." in among the silence. Marigold eyes blinked for a second before they automatically went wide and turned his head in embarrassment. His brain obviously not have given the go-ahead to confirm his words wouldn't make him look utterly stupid. He let out a clearing of his throat before trailing his eyes back to the crystal beauty in front of him, albeit rather shyly. "M-my headache feels better... Thank you V-Violet." he cursed himself, what he thought was mentally, for stuttering, but a small whisper of "Damn it." to himself had let slip also. What in the seven hells was happening? The Beta must have thought he'd gone crazy or something but in reality he was just losing his damn composure over her. His eyes scrunched shut as he took a sigh at himself. This was so embarrassing. Honey orbs once again landed on the pack wolf and gave a nervous smile, his cheeks feeling hot and his stomach twisting slightly.

| | Her lavender eyes glanced over the male as he thanked her, and took the herbs. The look on his face was one that told her she was right. Herbs never tasted good, no matter if you're used to them or not. These would definitely provide a rather finicky taste, but they would, in the end, help his headache. Studying him for a second, she could visibly see some muscles relax, especially after the tension that lay within his head, any wolf's body would be agitated by the pain. Often times headaches were pains that could not be gotten rid of, no matter how many herbs could be taken. But she could tell that these had worked for him, or at least she hoped they had.
As the male seemed to be studying her, among the silence was whispered a word that she had only ever heard in her life when addressing pups. Cute. He was addressing her that way. He was talking about her being cute. Violet felt a little confused. She had never actually fallen in love with someone before. She had always been about her duties, and she had always spent her time working towards the better of her pack, and not looking to settle down. She thought that no one would ever view her that way. She was plain, nothing but a white wolf. She was not something to be admired for beauty, but simply to be admired for the hard work that she put into her pack. That was what she had always been taught and had learned throughout the years. Bringing her ears to fall against her head slightly as the male started to stutter out a different sentence, she looked to the ground, letting her tail sweep nervously behind her, and her paws scuffle at the dirt underneath them. Why was she acting this way?
"W-well that's good that your head is feeling better," She composed her sentence as much as she could. There was still a slight stutter at the beginning, and she started criticizing herself over it. He was a rogue, someone that was just passing through. Why was she feeling this way about what he had said. Maybe it was simply because it was the first time anyone had thought of her that way. Looking towards the male, she dipped her head to him. "I hate to cut this short, but I do have a pack to get back too," She said, looking towards him with sad lavender eyes. "Are... Are you staying around this area?" She asked, looking towards him. "Those herbs will only last for a while, I want to come back and check later tonight to make sure that its nothing worse than a simple headache," She said, looking towards him. "If that's alright with you of course," She let her tail brush over the earth and around her paws as she stood, waiting for the males reply. | OOC: @ashi <3 |
