The pink-nosed male seemed to ponder his question for a few moments, his rump hitting the earth and his paw fitting itself in his mouth."I-uh le-le-like i--i-t. Lo-ut-s uh-uh-of ni-ni-nice woo-wuh-" the male trailed off. During the pause, Uzu fit together what the male had said, piecing together the small stutters. Giving a smile of encouragement, Uzu listened in as Dorsey tried again. "Ni-ni-nice-ce Wool-wool-" He stammered. It was pretty obvious what the young male was trying to say, but the alabaster giant wasn't about to steal his moment away from him. He had enough patience to wait for Dorsey to say it himself. "Wuh-wol-vuh-vuh-s," the sentence finally finished. "Indeed," the albino brute responded back, glancing over his new packmates as Dorsey had done.
"Wuh-wuht-what do-do ya-ya-you thi-in-in-k?" the small question from Dorsey seemed like the last bit of dialogue the male was going to say for a while, as his paw shoved itself back into his mouth. Before the male answered, he cast his mismatched gaze around once more, taking in the scenery as the seasons changed, the wolves and how they interacted, the simple attitude in the commons. "It seems very stable, peaceful almost. Wolves are already getting along, and the pre-existing wolves of Somnus seem happy to have us here. I'd say that I believe that we are going to enjoy a good life here," Uzumati's reply came after his short pause. He smiled to both Dorsey and Wiggles, who still seemed to be in one of his dazed out states. Trying to keep conversation moving, Uzu looked for similarities between himself and Dorsey. Apart from the obvious eyes and nose, both had quite unusual names. "If you don't mind me asking, does you name mean anything? It's delightfully unique," Shifting his gargantuan frame into a more comfortable position on the ground, he looked to Dorsey for an answer, not minding that he would have to wait to hear all of it.

Scout Dorsey Hiccup "Wanna Play?"
"It seems very stable, peaceful almost. Wolves are already getting along, and the pre-existing wolves of Somnus seem happy to have us here. I'd say that I believe that we are going to enjoy a good life here," Dorsey was partially zoned out as Uzumati spoke, eyes starring blankly at the ground without need or interest. His chewing slowed slightly and a drip of saliva rolled down the fur of his dusty brown paw. He bobbed his head slightly, face emotionless and refusing to show anything as he took in what the snowy male said. "Nu-h-nuh-ni-ce-ce wool-wuh-wolve-s-s." He repeated quietly as he flickered back and glanced upward for a second before turning his suddenly bland face to stare aimlessly at the edge of the trees, speeding up his chewing on his now soaked paw.
"If you don't mind me asking, does you name mean anything? It's delightfully unique," Dorsey Hiccup wagged his tail appreciatively though he didn't exactly know if it was a compliment or not. He swallowed and pushed his brow downward in a thoughtful frown. A quiet 'Hmm...' trailed from his throat as he planned his words. Nodding absently to himself in conformation, the pink-nosed male lifted his head slightly and started in a mild, monotone voice. "I-i d-d-d-don-don't kn-know-oh." He gulped down a needed mouthful of air, calming his softly pumping chest before continuing. "I-i mu-i-ight ha-ha-ha-ve ha-had hi-hi-hi-" Again, Dorsey sucked down as much air as possible, taking a second to slow his heavy lungs. "Hi-ccups as a-a-a pup." He held the last word out for an unusual amount of time to try and not stutter. It worked for the most part though his tone warbled noticeably. After holding a word out for that long, he stopped, huffing and puffing for air. Dorsey glanced at Uzumati but didn't say anything more, unsure of what to say or ask.

The auburn hued yearling brute had pranced into the commons with ashen relative so near, his shoulder to grace hers with a gentle nudge of playful encouragement. This figure he brushed so near too was his blood, his family, his world. She was a canvas of pure elegance, radiating a confidence of power and energy. A suitable playmate and tormentor for anyone her age- Especially Weayaya. As the forestry began to thin a wide, open clearing began to appear, and, amongst it, those who occupied its span. His pack. With plumage to sway like a flag of excitement, the multi-hued pup let his gaze flutter towards his sister. A sparkle to his eyes as he smiled a toothy ear-to-ear, his ears only altering their path as Eureka began to speak. Aelin! Of course- the pup had rushed off without offering his adopted dam a simple goodmorning or greeting. With ease his motions picked up to a loped trot, sapphire and diamond orbs to lock upon the ivory bitch who appeared to be hiding her worries in accompanying Caleb. " Goodmorning, Aelin!" The youthful yip was an eager warning of his approach, his tail whooshing left to right, ears falling to the sides as his head began to sink into a dip as he prepared for the motherly, worried thrill she provided. If she'd moved towards him, he'd allow his muzzle to tilt upwards, salmon flesh escaping maw to graze across her chin and cheek. " I'm sorry I took off. But, I want you to meet my sister, Yiska!" In that instance his head drew around, onyx snout pointing directly at his similarly sized, but completely different colored sibling. An inviting tail wag being given as he sought her approach to meet who he hoped she'd like as much as he did. His mother. Though, he dared not say such in the wake of poor memories to be shed of what had happened to their birth parents. Before Aelin is where he remained, his eyes fluttering between her and shadowed sister, pure joy beaming from his expression as he watched for their reactions and responses. OOC: Sorry for the delay!

A mass of white fur shone brightly behind the autumn colors. Pushing past the long tall swaying grass she bobbed about in a hurry, on the tips of her toes she trotted at a speedy three beat. Her height extended her stride and drove her forward like a prancing horse, head held high to catch the rays of the rising sun.
Echoes of foreign howls had not gone unnoticed. The she-wolf had been out in search of a snack when they sung through the valley. Joy and delight washed over her at the thought of new faces to see. Smiling broadly as she made it back to the commons.
For Fleur’s time here in Somnus was not as all as expected. For one, she had thought she could escape all that of misery and sorrow, but even sadness found its way back to her during the passing of fellow members of the Somnus. But it did teach her one thing. That she couldn’t always run from heartache and suffering, it would confront her if it wanted to, and she was slowly learning to accept it.
Amber orbs sparkled at the sight of the new arrivals, tail swishing and legs tingling with excitement. Leading them all was Eureka, the newest wolf to take role of leading the pack.
With a call to order Fleur trotted round to get a better view, while passing by an oh so familiar friend. With only playfulness in mind the lady swatted the young greyish pup on the head with the fluff of her tail, a giggle ensued after with a smile. Fleur had grown close to Caleb from the day they had both joined, she found that the young pup had a spark in him that she loved. While though he was under the care of the Sentinel, the she-wolf like an elder sister teased and tussled with him every so often. It was nice for her to know that he was growing tall and strong.
Moving then into the crowd of members ears perked forward as the ranks were given out, and the pack dismissed. Short and sweet.
As the rest dispersed Fleur sat her rump back down onto the soil, tail wagging in greeting to anyone that chose to approach.

O C E A N general of somnus
His eyes were fixated on the earth crumbling at his paws such that he wouldn't see Azaelia's subtle display of contrite recollection. He assumed she might feel such things, and loathed himself for bringing about her guilt for something he didn't blame her for.
"I," he heard her say. His heart pounded once with a force great enough to drive it from his chest, his body pushing forward as his head involuntarily lifted to match Azaelia's. Anything could have followed that word, and whether it was rejection or affection, Ocean's heart would have stopped completely. He hoped for anything that would make him feel again. Either or, he would have loved her more.
Alas, she was cut short, and Ocean's chest receded back while anxiety and curiosity replaced his excitement. He repeated his disappointment over in his head as she began walking away until her body pressed against his, creating an entirely new sensation of feelings. He felt a bit angry now; within the span of 30 seconds, she'd altered his emotions three times without ever having to finish a single sentence. You tease. Don't you know what you do to me?
Now that the rogues had arrived came the moment when responsibility trumped personal matters. The other superiors embraced this depression with the appreciation of duty--Azaelia the most, as proven in the past when she chose it over herself--while Ocean didn't have as equal a sense. Still, he forced himself upwards and headed towards the center of the commons where everyone was gathered. He searched around for the wolves appointed as hunters, but couldn't match any names to a face. His eyes landed on Murdoch when he giggled sweetly at Azaelia's comment. Eyes squinted some, and is voiced called out to address the group while they focused on the salutary.
"Hunters, I believe an assessment is necessary before your ranks are legitimized. Follow me to the hunting grounds." He didn't feel any need to announce his rank. By his appearance alone, and perhaps the superiority resonating in his voice, his position should have been clear.

Topaz
As his superior sagged back into note of relaxation, Topaz slowly became aware of the fact that he was holding his breath. Discreetly resuming normal breath, he mirrored Eureka's shy smile with a twitch of his lip, the smallest of grins hinting at oaken features. There was something so oddly accessible, and open about the red tinted bitch. Her peaceful demeanor was perfect for the rank she was bestowed, surely everyone felt it. The sizable lupine was almost tempted to ask how long had she run the pack, but opted against it. Perhaps another time, if the two were to talk again. "Hello," Soon, her crystalline voice struck his ears. "You're a very brave wolf for approaching the big bad Alphess." He couldn't help but chuckle, her enthusiasm was intoxicating. His usual temperamental demeanor was suddenly brushed aside in her presence, the horrific details of his past simply lost in time.
"I've always been a bit of a daredevil." He said, raising his eyebrows with a smirk. But, the conversation was soon cut short. An ebony youngling soon interrupted, stealing orange hued orbs away from the Alphess. The small male asked for a chance to learn with the older wolves. His confidence was almost admirable. Shouldn't he approach the Superior more submissively? Hypocrite. He almost chuckled at himself. After all, who was he to judge? As Eureka replied to the young male, Topaz quickly looked over her features. After all, it proved difficult to mid-speech.
As she turned back to face him, his gaze lowered to her chest. Opening his mouth to say something, he was quickly cut off by yet another obsidian hued brute. But this one was larger, superior, packed with muscle and intimidation. Oh, this would be interesting. The monster of a wolf towered over anything he had ever seen, even Topaz himself - who was considered large. Watching the male with keen eyes, his ears perked at the mention of his rank. An assessment. Would this mean he was to stay a hunter? He would have to refine his skills of hunt, but still keep up with his fighting. Surely he could find a sparring partner in this pack.
Turning back to Eureka, he dipped his head, smiling reluctantly. Though he wished to stay and talk, work came first. "Catch ya' later, then." He grinned, flicking caramel auricles as he spoke the simply words, his tail flicking casually. Trotting towards the exit, the dappled male followed his Superior, shaking his head quickly to clear his mind of the conversation he had left behind.

Wiggles "The People That Mind Don't Matter, And The People That Matter Don't Mind."
Wiggles gnawed happily on a stick, his face dreamy and contented, his eyes far away despite being angled on the two wolves in the closest proximity to him. The stick grasped in his jaws was darkened having been soaked in saliva from his incessant chewing. The sugar hued brute glanced aimlessly at the dust hued Lupine huddled before the alabaster pair. He was stuttering anxiously in front of them in a pained manner which could tug at the heartstrings of any wolf. Wiggles smiled softly at him and Uzu before he was startled from his daydreamy state. The marshmallow jumped slightly and, along with many other pairs of eyes, turned his attention to the midnight hued male who bellowed out snapping words. "Hunters, I believe an assessment is necessary before your ranks are legitimized. Follow me to the hunting grounds."
The marshmallow grinned, turning to his companion and friend to bump his encouragingly with his hip although it might have felt more like a shove. Wiggles lost his balance some and stumbling for support, barely managing to keep himself on all fours. Focusing his attention on Uzumati again, the sugar hued brute swept his plumes excitedly, bubbling happiness for his friend plastered all over his beaming features along with a wide grin perched upon his lips. "Good luck Oozoo!" His cheered words were muffled by the slobbery stick still held in his teeth which he continued to maul within his teeth after he had spoken. Again the sugary brute tried to bump his companion but again it ended up awkward and wobbly.
Looking around Wiggles caught the figure of a resting damsel, her body coated in an elegant pearl coat, her lips pulled in a welcoming smile with her pluming silky feathers sweeping in a constant rhythm. The marshmallow leapt to attention with the stick carried proudly in his jaws and trotted over to her, a smile perched warmly on his scruffy maw. Steele orbs found her own chocolate ones as he heavily dropped to a sit. "Hi there! I'm Wiggles and that over there is Oozoo and next to him is Dorsey!" He beamed and added quickly before she could put it "They're my friends, Oozoo is my bestest best best friend!" The sugary brute slapped his tail in a quickened beat on the ground, knocking small clouds of dust into the air behind him. "So whats your name? You seem very nice!" In his mind Wiggles was already labeling the she-wolf as a friend. He almost seemed to vibrate with excitement as he waited to hear what she might respond with. In fact, he was sort of vibrating. His limbs quaked uncontrollably as he sat before her, jovial happiness planted firmly on his features.

In the midst of all the commotion as members began to mingle and communicate the cloud of happiness gazed about at the new fellow members. In her eyes it was all wonderful to see, a little giggle produced at the thought of what it could have been like back at home, with her own family. It was all weird, swirling emotions of happy and sad mushing and mashing into a combination that just by looking at the scene around her made her want to cry and laugh all together.
But the feelings, and the whimsical memory was short lived. Ears pivoted at the sound of Ocean’s voice, head turning to listen as an order was made and a statement that a hunt would commence. Now that her eyes had less of a feeling that they were about to spill of liquid did the young female take a stand. But was plopped back down on her squishy little butt having been startled from another wolf.
“Oh hello!”
Out of habit, and friendliness she responded suddenly, eyes peering wide at the male that released a flow of tangled and bunched up words at a sudden burst. The male was new, and his loud and wiggly ways would have most easily scared the living day lights out of anyone. But Fleur could not help but smile, eyes softening as she giggled reply with upbeat response. “I’m Fleur.” Eyes brightened with curiosity, clearly he was different, but that wouldn’t matter. “Why thank you, you seem very nice too.” But for a single moment she had gotten distracted, gaze snapping to Ocean as he trotted away.
Fleur wanted to join them, even if it was just to watch. Though staying here and saying hello’s to everyone sounded oh so nice, she wanted to be out in the field again. It felt… wonderful.
“Wiggles, it was very nice meeting you but I must head off for a little bit.” She rose quickly to a stand, her tail wagging with much enthusiasm. “I’ll see you and your friends when I get back. Okay?” With a nod of her head and smile in hopes that he would understand the female trotted off after Ocean, she hurried in a prance to catch up to him, coming up to his side, though still short of getting ahead of him along with a good deal of space between them.
With Ocean, Fleur didn’t seem to scared of him, well she was much better around him than she was at first, now appearing rather claim then completely fearful that she was going to mess up in front of him. She still got nervous every so often, but over the course of these few weeks she’s learned that just like any other wolf he simply wanted what was best for the pack. Plus she was glad he was around, she had watched him and Azaelia interact and it was a truly beautiful thing. “Ocean? Do you think I could tag along?” Eyes looked to him in questioned, head lowered submissively as she padded through the grass. “I have no issues to even sit on the sidelines for this time, just another set of paws that could be handy if anything.” She asked with politeness, nervousness burrowing at the pit of her stomach.
Had the male said no would she had nodded in understanding and backed off, and circle round to return to the commons, and had he allowed for her to remain would she smile and give her thank yous before striding onward towards the hunting grounds.

"I-i d-d-d-don-don't kn-know-oh," the special male began his stuttered speech, "I-i mu-i-ight ha-ha-ha-ve ha-had hi-hi-hi-... Hi-ccups as a-a-a pup." The alabaster giant huffed, entertained at Dorsey's joke, whether he intended it to be or not. "Must've," he rumbled, mismatched eyes glinting with amusement. "My name means 'bear.' It's probably because I'm so big. I don't think I've met a bear in my past!" Uzu smiled at Dorsey. He wanted to continue with the conversation, but the voice of an absolutely enormous raven male caught his attention. "Hunters, I believe an assessment is necessary before your ranks are legitimized. Follow me to the hunting grounds," his deep timbre rumbled over the commons. The albino giant looked to his Alphess, checking to see whether or not this wolf was going to be told off, or allowed to carry forth with his command. Her silence being an answer, he presumed that this male was of a high enough rank. Perhaps the Hunting Superior? "Good luck Oozoo!" the voice of his near brother made him pause before he was about to follow the ebony wolf. "Welcome back, Buddy!" Uzmati spoke before he licked Wiggles' head. It was nice to see him back in everyone else's world. With a last smile, he called out to Dorsey, "See you later Dorsey!" He fell in line with the three other males that had been assigned the same rank as him and any of the other pre-existing Somnus wolves that were also hunters. His first Somnus hunt! He couldn't wait to see how this would go. General Ocean @wiggles @dorseyhiccup @thehunters

Scout Dorsey Hiccup "I Keep Wanting To, But Something's Stopping Me..."
A heavy and humorous huff was what the giant gave and Dorsey let a pursed smile perch upon his lightened tan maw. "Must've," Uzumati's words were rumbled, his voice deep and thunderous though it wasn't anything like the dominating or aggressive tones one might expect from a brute his size. "My name means 'bear.' It's probably because I'm so big. I don't think I've met a bear in my past!" Dorsey Hiccup let a smile to match his new friend's brighten his anxious face. The anxiety entered his expression almost as soon as it was gone as a booming voice thundered over the once safe Common's. Dorsey froze, eyes drawn to his side to try and spy the potential threat as his body felt like hunching up. "Hunters, I believe an assessment is necessary before your ranks are legitimized. Follow me to the hunting grounds," The pink-nosed male shuddered, frozen in fear of that nightmare wolf on the edge of his vision, looming, dark and omen-like.
Slowly he straightened out and managed a forced glance cast over his hunched shoulder as he tried to calm his buzzing heart and head. The happiest voice surprised him and he swung back around to look at the small powdered milk colored male next to Uzumati. Wiggles, was it? "Good luck Oozoo!" He watched the hulking brute look upon the marshmallow with pure affection in his bi-colored eyes. "Welcome back, Buddy!" Dorsey felt his chest throb and ache as a mental image of his sister flashed in his brain. He missed the care, the affection, the friendship. "See you later Dorsey!" The dusty male smiled unsurely and bobbed his head in a farewell before the large white brute turned to follow that terrifying nightmare creature. With a shudder and sigh, Dorsey Hiccup left the spot too, off to look for a den spot that would do.

--cancel exit to hunting grounds xD--
That cute little voice stopped Ocean's undead trudge to the hunting grounds. There were a few wolves in the pack that sometimes pulled Ocean out of his dark, thoughtful place. In his remote little world were sensors that silently begged when those wolves were around. For once, his attitude towards a subordinate shifted from demanding to accepting. Eureka and Fleur had this affect on him. Azaelia had her own interesting ways of changing the way Ocean felt, and Violet was sometimes reassuring. Of the four, Fleur was the only non-original, making her the first pack wolf by which Ocean had been so glad to be pulled out of his comfort zone.
"I apologize," he said with an arching neck, feeling guilty for excluding her. "Come along. You'll monitor the hunt, and I'll call you to the field if you're needed." Ocean raised the trail on the end of his words such that his suggestion became a question. He wanted the hunt to be focused on the newbies, but for Fleur's sake, he'd let her tag along should she accept Ocean's proposal.

Salutary Murdoch "The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease."
A bright smile was perched upon Murdoch's lips as he looked around him, watching with merry eyes and listening with open ears as the pack mingled and socialized, the mood generally bright and excited. To see the Somnus wolves, new and old, happy was the best thing that could happen at the moment. Lately it seemed like a dark cloud had been hanging over the pack what with River's death. Though some of the recent changes had turned out well, not all the wolves had taken things well. To see most of them happy or at least tolerating things was wonderful.
His wandering gaze suddenly caught the eyes of another wolf, making his bright smile waver. Those piercing yellow eyes seemed to drill into him, leaving him with only a feeling of immeasurable guilt to boil continuously within him. Murdoch pulled his eyes away, trying to calm that feeling inside him as he watched a caramelized leaf fall to the soil. "Hunters, I believe an assessment is necessary before your ranks are legitimized. Follow me to the hunting grounds." The Salutary looked up as wolves shuffled to their paws upon Ocean's thunderous command. The rational part of his mind told him that Ocean was correct, it was necessary to test the new members and find their skill levels so any incorrect ranks could be reconsidered and adjusted in a timely manner. Still, part of him didn't believe that the General's timing was as necessary. The wolves had just arrived, they might need time to rest to show their best results. But Murdoch decided not to question the ebony male's judgement further. He watched as Ocean stopped to answer the hopeful Fleur, granting her her wish to follow. His worried eyes followed the ebony brute and angel haired female as they departed after the rest of the Hunters and for a moment it crossed his mind to also follow and watch. But the thought was quickly forgotten with a single swish of his bushy tail.
Gazing around, the Salutary found that most of the new wolves had departed, the remaining ones had quieted their spirited mingling and had left the general area to create or find decent dens for themselves. His other pack-mates either stayed asleep, stayed alone or talked softly to one another which left the Commons at a dimmed hum. Murdoch sighed, the feeling of guilt still inside him despite his tries to make it go away. His marigold eyes spotted the tawny and cream figure of the former Alphess as they swept along and his silvery face lit up upon seeing her. The Salutary's face rose to a beaming smile as he moved toward her in his easy and jaunty trot. "Good morning Azaelia!" The Salutary called, with his voice was as bright as his face, smile warming and tone jovial as he approached. "How are you this morning?" Despite asking it, Murdoch felt like he already knew the answer to his question though he found it polite to ask. Telling her that she looked upset earlier when she was with Ocean seemed intrusive and making assumptions was usually found rude. The usual morning banter of polite questions would work fine.

| It was the deep and intimidating tones of a familiar friend that managed to snatch her attention away from the company of Topaz. Eureka's bright eyes landing upon Ocean's beastly form as he announced a trial by hunt. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips, grateful that the General was willing to assess the ranks that she had bestowed with only a thought. However, she would not be accompanying them; not today at least. Eureka trusted that Ocean would be able to keep all of their hunters in line, as well as report back to her if any changes in ranks would need to be made. He was wise and respectable. One of Eureka's greatest role-models. She knew that he would do his job well.
With this thought in mind, she let her keen sights drift back to Topaz, perhaps even letting a small mischievous glint shine through those dazzling eyes. "Don't let Ocean scare you too much." Was all she teasingly said to the male as he departed, watching as his rather handsome figure eventually left the Commons with the rest of the hunting party. Despite their only short encounter, Eureka had already labelled the male as someone who she would want to get to know further. Perhaps she would be able to say the same about the rest of her new pack-mates upon interacting with them. But for now, her interests lay with the thought of a much closer pack-mate.
Violet was the next wolf that Eureka approached, a smooth and gentle smile being sent to the beautiful ivory she-wolf as the Alphess stood with her Beta. But this smile quickly faded into a more serious expression as Eureka's query settled on her tongue. "I'd like your opinion on something; some advice." She began, almost hesitantly. It was silly of her to have to consult Violet over something so simple, but it was too early in her role as Alphess to make a mistake. She had to be precise in her job. "It's about Luke. I want to travel to Noctis and tell him of..." she tried not to choke on her words, "Of River's passing. Maybe bring Draco with me. But I don't want to leave the pack without an Alphess because of my simple selfish want to see Luke." Eureka finished, looking to Violet and placing a deep amount of trust in her friend as she sought an opinion on her plans.
Eureka wanted to see Luke again. She really did. Her brother not only deserved to know of their own mother's passing, but the young Alphess subconsciously wanted to see how he was fitting with the title of Noctis's Alpha. Perhaps he could give her the brotherly approval about her rank that Draco never really could. And of course in the back of her mind she wanted to bring Draco with her, to reunite the trio again. But to her, these were all just selfish thoughts. An Alphess had to think of her pack first, right? It was all just proving that this new title was a lot harder than puffing your chest out and claiming the loyalty of a pack. You really had to have your wits about you. | Tagged: @topaz , Beta Violet OOC: *throws an idea at Violet* |

| | Violet had simply been waiting for Eureka to return to the commons. She worried for Weayaya, as he seemingly darted off without giving any sort of warning. Doing something as reckless as that could get someone killed. And she definitely didn't want more blood on Somnus lands. That was the last thing that they needed. But as everyone milled about, seemingly waiting to see what the new Alphess brought back, she could hear the footsteps approaching, many of them as well. Eureka had brought back a horde of wolves to the pack, and hopefully they would be good for something. Somnus needed strong wolves, but some of the wolves that had appeared with Eureka, Violet could already tell that there was something wrong with them. Looking towards her, wondering if she could tell as well, it made it almost seem like she had accepted wolves out of pity, but maybe there was different reason behind her actions. Violet was much older, and had a mindset that was extremely different from the younger mindset of Eureka. It came with witnessing so many things in life, and witnessing so many deaths. Seeing the others interact with each other, Violet looked towards Eureka as she announced ranks and such, but the older white she-wolf made no move to talk with the newcomers. She would do that when time came. Ocean seemed to take charge and initiate a hunt for all the new hunters, which was a good idea. It would distract everyone for a little while, and allow Eureka to do whatever it was she seemed to have on her mind.
The snowy she-wolf watched with Lavender pools as wolves left, and the Alphess approached. Looking towards the young she-wolf, she gave her a kind smile. There was no evil bone in Violet's body, and there never would be. As Eureka asked for her advice about something, Violet's ears perked and tuned into what she was saying. It was about the passing of her mother. Luke was going to be told at some point, maybe sooner rather than later would be good. But it seemed that Eureka didn't know if she could abandon the pack, especially with her new rank. "Eureka dear," She said with a smile. "It is a natural want to see family, and to tell Luke especially of the tragedy of your mother's passing. I feel as if you and Draco could both use some familial time with your brother to recuperate. Maybe it would help Draco see the situation differently as well. I'm sure you've noticed his attitude as of recently," She said, looking around to make sure that the brute couldn't hear her. "And, I think Luke would be the best wolf for you to talk to. He is a new Alpha, so he's definitely had his paws full with many things. I'm sure getting to know how he went about things might help you settle into the position better, and have you doubting yourself less," She said, knowing that maybe a learning experience could be had. "And you needn't worry about the pack. As Beta I will step in while you're away, as that is my duty. And I'll always have Ocean and Azaelia to help if need be. Don't doubt yourself, you will be doing the right thing by telling your brother," Her tail came to rest upon Eureka's shoulder. "I'm sure he's been aching to see you and Draco for some time now, but I'm sure Alpha duties have kept him busy," She couldn't lie, she missed Luke a great deal as well. The entire pack did. But he found a home somewhere not too far, and they would still see him from time to time.
"If you go now, you'll reach Noctis territory in no time. Stay there a couple nights, talk with your brother. And when you come back you'll have to tell me all about how he's doing," The white she-wolf said, giving a large smile, hoping that it somewhat would help Eureka feel less guilty. | |

| "Eureka dear, it is a natural want to see family, and to tell Luke especially of the tragedy of your mother's passing. I feel as if you and Draco could both use some familial time with your brother to recuperate. Maybe it would help Draco see the situation differently as well. I'm sure you've noticed his attitude as of recently," Right off the bat, Violet's wise and thoughtful words had Eureka seeing her small internal debate from a completely different point of view. The young she-wolf nodded along to the thinking of her friend. "And, I think Luke would be the best wolf for you to talk to. He is a new Alpha, so he's definitely had his paws full with many things. I'm sure getting to know how he went about things might help you settle into the position better, and have you doubting yourself less, and you needn't worry about the pack. As Beta I will step in while you're away, as that is my duty. And I'll always have Ocean and Azaelia to help if need be. Don't doubt yourself, you will be doing the right thing by telling your brother, I'm sure he's been aching to see you and Draco for some time now, but I'm sure Alpha duties have kept him busy,"
The small familiar touch of the Beta's tail against her shoulder was comforting in a very maternal way. Violet had been there for Eureka practically her entire life, and even now she still proved to be one of the greatest she-wolves that she had the pleasure of knowing. The female nodded once more, a gentle and relieved smile settling on her lips as she could feel her tensed posture slump ever so slightly. Violet had given the green-light to her idea, which was the best outcome that she could have wished for from her friend's advice. Eureka gave her past carer a quick and affectionate nuzzle behind her ear as she would have done as a pup after seeking solace with the same she-wolf. "Thank you," She said gratefully, glad that Violet was so keen about the idea that had been plaguing her mind for a while now. "I guess we'll leave now then, I'll see you when as soon as we're home, and I'll say hello to Luke for you, of course." Eureka said as her tail began swaying happily at the mere thought of seeing what was left of her family reunited once again. If only Violet could be there to see it...
With a quick flick of her tail over the Beta's side, she turned and laid her soft eyes upon the larger frame of her brother, approaching him with a pace that would have been enough to give away her eagerness. "Draco, I want you to come to Noctis with me, to see Luke and let him know about mother." Eureka ended up speaking quite quickly, her face gleaming with enthusiasm despite the fact that her brother was not exactly 'happy' with her at the moment. As Violet had said, maybe their brother would be able to help him in this aspect; hopefully.
"I want to leave now so that we can get there as soon as possible, lets go." Eureka announced without any warning before turning away and walking in the direction that she knew the Noctis borders stretched. She hadn't ever seen the lands that Luke so easily called home, so it gave her ample reason to let the excitement build in her chest with every step that she took. Hopefully her brother would feel the same about this adventure.
