Duva let his mind wander as he followed Ventus along a well-used path. This place was breathtaking; the leaves were taking on their fiery autumn colours, accentuated by shafts of sunlight. Exploring every part of the territory would be enjoyable. One thing worried him, however, as he hadn’t forgotten the faint smell of blood he picked up at the border. A tiny part of his imagination feared the possibility of these wolves being the orchestrators of whatever violence happened here. The rational part of him suggested someone or something attacked Lubrusca. Strangely enough, this idea ignited determination in the young male. He was nothing special. He was just someone who left his family because he could neither stomach their cruelty nor change their ways. Still, Duva would try his hardest to help his new pack through hardship. Multiple new scents grew noticeable. Ventus, Ebony, and the other wolves who escorted them from the border led everyone into the Commons. The clearing contained a few wolves and several pups. “This is the Common Grounds. You are free to make your dens here, or claim a spot to sleep if you do not need a den,” their alpha explained. Duva didn’t mind too much where he slept. A better question was whether this was the whole of Lubrusca —whatever happened must have been deadly. “And these are your new pack members,” Ventus continued, confirming all or most of the pack was present. “As the new members are here, I think it is time that we give ranks to those that are new, and old.” Duva pricked his ears as the fiery wolf began announcing ranks. Firstly, she promoted Prim, the young-looking female, to delta. She must be an exceptional wolf to become delta at such an age. One of the new members, Snow Rose, received the rank of salutary; Duva offered a congratulatory smile to the pale wolf. The alpha began listing names. “ Elenor, Dante, Parker, Nece, Duva and Tasha, you will be the Hunters of our pack.” The silvery male perked up even more. He was a hunter! After travelling alone for so long, he had learned lots about hunting. This would suit him. “Kato, Trinity, Laika, Blake, Lin-Manuel and Mochi, you will the the Scouts. Heather, you will be promoted from an Omega to the Hunting Superior of our pack. You will make sure to teach our hunters how to hunt efficiently, and will be in charge of further feedings of the pack. The rest of you will serve as Omegas until I find suitable ranks for you.” If Kato was still nearby, Duva would lean towards her. “Congrats! I hope you like your rank,” he would whisper. Ventus concluded the announcement and went over to the pups — her pups, Duva realised. Another wolf rushed into the clearing and spoke to the alpha. Duva, lost in thought, didn’t catch her words. What should he do now? It probably made sense to check in with his new hunting superior, Heather, before anything else. Turning to Kato if she was still next to him, he excused himself a little apologetically. “I should go see if we need some hunting done.”
Heather was a bit shorter than him. The pale wolf approached with his tail and head lowered respectfully, putting them at about the eye level. “Um, Hunting Superior Heather? If you’re organising a hunt today, I’m at your disposal.” Uncertain how big of a deal a hunting superior was, Duva kept his body language submissive.

While they'd made their way to Lubrusca's Commons, the calico male had passed his journey in jaunty, lighthearted banter, hopefully coaxing a soft, bright-eyed smile from his friend. Faint, passing flutters of nervousness were teeming within their wandering band, a cruel accompaniment of anxiousness and excitement that'd failed to find its way into his ditsy head. Hopefully, a happy, airy exchange would ease any potential anxieties his brindled companion brewed up, maintaining their merry atmosphere in light of Lubrusca's open acceptance. The Commons themselves were brimming with life, wonderfully littered with soft, warm scents of prey and pups alike, the latter preoccupied with their puppyish, innocent past times. At their arrival, an equally youthful tan yearling bounced up with eager, wide-eyed excitement, happily granting his golden-plumed tail permission to whip as it pleased. Dante's own dappled one could hardly resist his invitation, softly fettering side-to-side as he and Ellie attuned themselves to Ventus's tender introduction. “This is the Common Grounds. You are free to make your dens here, or to claim a spot to sleep if you do not need a den,” she began, softly gesturing towards some potential spots. A den - now there was a task he'd actually had some experience in! How often had clever Luca previously trusted him to find themselves a perfect arrangement for their fiery pair? Of course, he would have bear the brindled lass's parameters, (the leg, the privacy), in mind with his own, but other then that, he was sure he'd manage to find her a hospitable den. Although - now that he'd taken it to account - would they even share the same den? She had slept by his side for the past month, but that'd been in light of any favorable alternative. Perhaps now that she'd found something better, they'd go their separate ways - and though a piece of him was sadly willing to accept it, another wanted to fight it fervently, push any possibility of separation out the realm of reality. The Alphess's speech drew him from his concerns, temporarily captivating the calico male's interest. Ebony tipped ears perked in curious interest as she announced pack ranks, distributed equally between the old and new. He'd never held a rank of his own, whisked away from his birth pack before he'd been apprenticed - this - why, this would be his first! Eager, childish excitement settled in place of previous worries, amber eyes affixed with a whimsy anticipation. Firstly, Prim - the sour-faced yearling that'd followed the Alphess to the borders - delta. Following her came Snow Rose - the sweet, gentle she-wolf that'd expressed her love of healing - Salutatory. If she was somewhere near, he'd wag his tail, dip his dappled head in congratulations at her sudden new superior rank. Then came the subordinate ranks. "Elenor, Dante..." A sharp bite to the tongue barely stifled his delighted yelp as he realized they'd received the same rank, gleaming eyes glistening with curious wonder as the names of his other packmates obscured in his mind. "... Will be the hunters of our pack." Hunters! Not Unranked, not Omegas - Hunters! She'd even given both a chance at proving themselves, an openly wonderful opportunity to prove they'd been worth accepting. What should they do first? They could check in their Hunting Superior, Heather, but then again, a closer look revealed that maybe Heather didn't exactly wish to be checked in with. And then, with a wonderful stroke of thought, it struck him. He'd gotten a glimpse of it on their way over, a slight, tiny sense of the potential it possessed - a perfect area to go test their abilities before their first hunt. He could hardly will his whipping tail to remain still as the Alphess concluded her speech, bounding up to Elenor with a giddy, playful grin. "Congratulations Hunter Elenor!" he beamed, softly butting her brindled shoulder with the brunt of his oaken nose. "What's say you and I celebrate?" he whispered, his tone playful, teasing. "I know just the spot." Exit To: Forest River Tagged: Alphess Ventus , @elenor Mentioned: Hunting Superior Parker , @prim

With each step, the lupine could feel herself swallowing down more anticipation. The commons was so close, and if she were familiar with Lubrusca she would practically be able to smell it, or perhaps recognize the area with a glance. Walks were normally dreadful, always holding up her partner at her slow speed. In this moment, though, Elenor practically felt normal. She has been accepted! This was her new opportunity that she so desperately needed after months of preparing to give up on life and rot in a grave she dug. She had been so ready to die, so much so that she threw herself into a deathly battle to give another wolf a chance. Come to find out, this was the same wolf that helped her give life another chance. Perhaps Dante was seldom serious, and rather overly excitable to some, but she had gotten so used to his company that she enjoyed it. Every bit. And by now, though she couldn't consciously admit it, she had grow so close to him that she would protect him with her life, this time for more of a reason than just letting him live. Joyful brown hues flickered in the direction of her companion who was, no doubt, right next to her as always. Elenor pondered over what he was thinking, grasping that he couldn't purely be his giddy self. Maybe nervousness, just a little, as to what he was preparing to expect. She too had her own worries such as if she wouldn't make the cut on her hindered abilities, but Elenor had long pushed that away to the back of her mind. Now wasn't the time to be stressing herself out, especially considering the pair had finally found a moment to enjoy and celebrate their acceptance. Smiling to herself, Elenor would press on, softly letting her tail graze over Dante's hind leg. Just for a moment. Trees and dense forest eventually gave way to a secret hide out, flat grassy land full of beaming life. Contrary to this, the bright morning sun only shined down an a few fellow pack mates. It was no wonder Alphess Ventus accepted so many, they obviously had been suffering a depressing shortage. Something dreadful had happened to leave a pack so vulnerable. The small she-wolf casually introduced them to their new home, welcoming them to create a den as they pleased. Oh, yes, she hadn't even considered her and Dantes sleeping location! They would have to find something big enough to house the both of them, but surely that wouldn't prove much trouble. Slowly, her eyes wandered towards the many pups that also occupied the commons. They must be the Alphess' pups, which explained her milky scent. Dantes pups would likely be just as equally full of life. With a start, Elenor shook away her thoughts, glancing up at her large partner with curiosity. Where had that idea came from? The Alphess' booming voice tore her from her thoughts, a sudden realization that everyone was gathering to listen to her speech. What was there to say? Ranks, yes. Things were moving so quickly that the oddly colored she-wolf hardly had time to worry. It was more than surprising to find the not-yet yearling earning had earned the title of Delta. It was evident that she must have done something to deserve it, as she obviously couldn't have a lot of experience. Next was a fellow newby that jumped up to salutory. Then came the subordinates, her and Dantes name first to be announced in the list. Hunters. Hunters!! They could work together and provide for... their new pack. The thought of that was rather odd, considering her whole life she was used to only feeding herself. The mottled bear of a wolf hardly contained his own excitement, and in return Elenor gave him another cheerful smile, her tail wagging in sync with him. She probably wasn't quite sharing the excitement, though, at least not to his extent. This was going to be a difficult couple of weeks trying to learn how to sprint with balance. Before she could fuss about the idea too much, Dante bounded up towards her. "Congratulations Hunter Elenor!" he voiced, nudging her shoulder with his nose. "And to you, Hunter Dante," she joked with a smile, coming to a stand. "What's say you and I celebrate? I know just the spot." he continued, rather mysteriously. Ellie cocked an inquisitive brow, but silently nodded with an equal teasing glint in her eye. Exit

Pup Erramun "Think Before You Speak, Breathe Before You Act."
Erramun, pinecone clenched awkwardly in his teeth, trotted to his small pile. Not many but that was alright. It wasn't all about winning, it was about what you learned, right? The tan pup maneuvered around the first stick he had planted which extended from the ground like an extremely long claw, preparing to slash at him. Opening his jaws all the way wasn't quite enough to let him deposit the cone, forcing him to shake his head and prod it with his tongue to remove his teeth from the holes they had dug. Eventually, the seed case loosened and fell to the base of his pile, toppling another one that had rested peacefully nearby. Erramun nudged them both forward with his maw, pressing them into the pile to steady their rolling nature but gently enough so that the others didn't roll off.
As he was doing so, the pup heard the sounds of shuffling footsteps not far off. His head lifted and he squinted toward where his mom had departed from. He left his kingdom of pinecones to stand next to Lysic, a smile blossoming on his bright features. As the flame hued she-wolf entered the Commons she alerted with a gentle bark to her waiting pups. Erramun beamed, excitement and interest in his new pack-mates obvious as he curiously studied them. "This is the Common Grounds. You are free to make your dens here, or claim a spot to sleep if you do not need a den,"
"And these are your new pack members," Erramun continued to watch them. There was a pup it seemed, much older than him and his siblings but more around Parker's or Prim's age. The rest were adults which wasn't a bad thing. It meant more questions would be answered, more things would be taught. "As the new members are here, I think it is time that we give ranks to those that are new, and old. Firstly, Prim. You have shown me the potential you hold, and I grant you the rank of Delta." Erramun looked for her in the crowd, eyes seeking to spot her familiar figure. It wasn't hard, her bubbly movements caught his eye easily and he was happy to see the hardworking wolf so excited. "You will learn from both Ebony and I how to become a leader within the pack, Snow Rose, you expressed your want to heal, and thus I am promoting you to the Salutary of our pack, I hope you serve us well,"
"Elenor, Dante, Parker, Nece, Duva and Tasha, you will be the Hunters of our pack. Kato, Trinity, Laika, Blake, Lin-Manuel and Mochi, you will the the Scouts. Heather, you will be promoted from an Omega to the Hunting Superior of our pack. You will make sure to teach our hunters how to hunt efficiently, and will be in charge of further feedings of the pack. The rest of you will serve as Omegas until I find suitable ranks for you," Erramun wagged his tail, taking his mind momentarily off of the new wolves to the approach of his mother as she sat down to care for Lysic. The tan pup moved closer to her to sit right next to her, tail continuing to sweep the Common Ground's dirt floor. His beaming face looked up to her own apricot hued features as he greeted her with a soft yip. "How is-" No, that wasn't right. Erramun shook his head and started again. "How are you?" His words were serious and a little robotic as he glanced up to his mother's eyes for response.

During his trip to the commons, Blake felt as if he was wonderfully in his element. Walking next to Snow Rose, they had talked about many of the common herbs such as poppy seeds and ragwort, and one that he hadn't heard of before. Lamb's ear seemed to have properties like chamomile, giving strength to those that consume it. His mind whirred, taking in her words while at the same time looking for some herbs of his own as everyone entered the common grounds. He finally found one that she seemed not to have noticed. A small, spindly tree just beginning to bloom stood off to the side of the commons. Cobalt eyes gleamed happily as he pointed out the familiar plant. "There's a witch hazel tree off the side there. It'll give you an extra boost; wake you up if need be," a handsome smile graced his features as he watched the snowy she-wolf's reaction. Hopefully he had found a herb she hadn't known about, but with all of the information she had given him on the walk to the commons, he doubted it. A wolf can dream though, a wolf can dream. Once the cream male tore his gaze from the herbs that littered the commons, he noticed the piles of pine cones that were stacked neatly around a den, most obviously the Alphess'. A golden male, about the same age as the female that had accompanied Ventus to the borders, gawked at the large number of wolves that had entered. A soggy pine cone was lodged firmly in his mouth. Blake didn't think that this male was one of the pups the Alphess had obviously had recently; that assumption was confirmed when a younger pup turned to attention when the doting mother barked. His heart warmed as he observed the bond the pair obviously shared. One day, he was determined to have that kind of relationship. A fatherly figure to pups, whether his own or the pack's. "This is the Common Grounds. You are free to make your dens here, or claim a spot to sleep if you do not need a den," the voice of the spitfire Alphess stole his attention away from the pups. "As the new members are here, I think it is time that we give ranks to those that are new, and old. Firstly, Prim. You have shown me the potential you hold, and I grant you the rank of Delta. You will learn from both Ebony and I how to become a leader within the pack," Ventus announced. Prim, that was the young she-wolf that had accompanied the gorgeous female to the borders. He gave the obviously startled yearling a smile of congratulations; it wasn't just every day that a new Delta was announced. "Snow Rose, you expressed your want to heal, and thus I am promoting you to the Salutary of our pack, I hope you serve us well," the next rank flew. His tail whipped behind him in joy for the wolf he already considered to be his friend. Blake knew that she was going to make an amazing Salutary. He held his breath, waiting to see if his rank would follow directly after her's. The rest of you will serve as Omegas until I find suitable ranks for you," the rest of the ranks were finalized. It felt as if a stone had been lodged in his heart. At least Snow Rose could probably help him get it out. A Scout? He didn't desire to patrol the borders and deal with rogues for the rest of his pack life. He didn't want to be dissatisfied for the entirety of his time in Lubrusca, so he decided to nip the problem in the bud. Blake nudged Snow Rose gently with his shoulder and cheerily spoke, "Congratulations Snow! I know you'll do great! If you'll just excuse me for a moment..." His voice trailed off as he walked away with a dip of his head. He wanted, no, needed to speak with Ventus. If he could get through to her, she would still have five more new Scouts to perform their duties, and another wolf with healing abilities to utilize their skills properly. He padded over to the tangerine superior, as well as the two pups that lay around them. After both she and the first pup he had seen had spoken, he cleared his throat, dipping his head low and tucking in his tail. "So sorry for interrupting, to the both of you, but I would like to discuss something with you Alphess Ventus. I would like to be Snow Rose's Apprentice. She knows much more about herbs than I do, but simply hearing a glimpse of what she knows has made me sure that I would like to continue to learn. Thank you for your time, Alphess," Blake concluded his monologue, his cobalt eyes momentarily catching Ventus' gaze simply to add emphasis to his head dip at the conclusion of his dialogue. The multi-hued male took a step back, but stayed near the powerful female. He waited patiently for her response, knowing that there was a high probability that he would remain a Scout, or even be bumped down to Omega. Snow Rose "I will always be the optimist, the hoper of far-flung hopes and the dreamer of improbable dreams." The trip to the Commons had been quite pleasant; consisting of shared knowledge between Blake and herself, which amounted to Snow Rose confirming her suspicions that she knew more about herbs than the male did. Perhaps if he was truely passionate about herbs she would be able to teach him everything that she knew? It was a concept that brought a feeling of completion to what would have been her 'career' as a healer. Snow Rose decided that she would ask him about this after they had settled into their new home, she didn't want to overwhelm him with this this thought even when they had yet to be given ranks, for now, she simply turned her cranium towards the small tree that Blake had pointed out. A smile spread across her face at the familiar stretch of it's yellow flowers that had begun to wilt with the oncoming chill of Autumn. "There's a witch hazel tree off the side there. It'll give you an extra boost; wake you up if need be," the information about the flora that he had stated was accurate, and she nodded her head along to his words before giving him a hum of agreement.
"My mother used to think that witch hazel was a great way to starve off sleep, she usually had it on hand whenever she was working or experiment during the night." Snow Rose revealed this fact about her mother quite out of the blue as the group broke into the Commons, her gaze turning from conversing with Blake as she looked to green expanse that lay in front of them. It really was a gorgeous view, perhaps the best kind of place that a healer could wish for. Rose knew that it would take days to catalog every single herb that lay within the expansive of this brilliant territory, perhaps even weeks. But it was a prospect that excited her more than anything.
"This is the Common Grounds. You are free to make your dens here, or claim a spot to sleep if you do not need a den, and these are your new pack members," Views of decedent caramel turned to the Alphess as she began speaking, the smaller frame of Ventus having been placed upon the raised surface of a rock that she seemed to be using a podium. Well it was a good way to grab the attention of her wolves. "As the new members are here, I think it is time that we give ranks to those that are new, and old. Firstly, Prim. You have shown me the potential you hold, and I grant you the rank of Delta. You will learn from both Ebony and I how to become a leader within the pack," Ranks? Established so soon? Oh this would be interesting. Where would Snow Rose be placed? She had already made her passion for healing quite clear, so hopefully Ventus would take this into consideration, but the she-wolf didn't really mind what rank she was given, she was simply happy to be among a group of wolves that she could consider to be family. "Snow Rose, you expressed your want to heal, and thus I am promoting you to the Salutary of our pack, I hope you serve us well,"
The she-wolf's heart fluttered. Her cranium raising as she heard her name and her hopes soaring as she heard her rank. This day was going extraordinarily well. "Thank you, I won't disappoint~." Snow Rose sang as she bowed her head gratefully towards the spitfire she-wolf, a massive smile spreading across her maw as she looked around to see many signs of approval and congratulations from her new pack-mates. The rest of you will serve as Omegas until I find suitable ranks for you," As their leader concluded, Snow Rose looked towards the two males who stood in her company, and a playful raise of her eyebrow given to both Blake and Mochi at the announcement of their ranks. "Scouts, eh? You'll both do very well in your new roles!" This was more of a lie, as Snow Rose saw Blake to be a fit Salutary or even Apprentice alongside herself, while she saw Mochi and his large frame to be better served elsewhere, specifically in a field requiring strength. But she would not doubt the Alphess's decisions, she would instead take them in stride and learn from her doings.
"Congratulations Snow! I know you'll do great! If you'll just excuse me for a moment..." The she-wolf gave a thankful nod of the head and polite smile in reply to Blake's form of sentiment before watching as he approached the gilded Alphess. It was for a fleeting second that Snow Rose grew curious about his inquiries with her, but this curiosity was soon cut off as another friend gave their congratulations, causing Snow to turn her head to look away from the retreating form off Blake and instead upwards at the massive figure of Mochi. She smiled at his words. "I'm going to go out for a bit, maybe take Macha with me. Would you like me to bring you back a herb or two? I think I've been quite well-acquainted with them. Or- you could probably come, if you don't trust my judgement. I'd love to learn more."
Snow Rose chuckled at his playful tone, giving a shake of her head in jest before she replied. "Aha, I will say that I trust your judgement, but I think it's best if I tagged along and gathered the herbs for myself." She replied politely with a bell-like giggle upon deciding that it would be best if she scout the area and take notes of any herb growths that she could refer back to in the future. It certainly was nice of Mochi to offer though. She did, however, look over her shoulder, casting a glance towards Blake who still seemed to be speaking with the Alphess. Maybe he would want to tag along as well? Ah, well if he did he was more than welcome to follow their scent and catch up. Snow Rose turned back to Mochi and Macha, a soft smile plastered across her face. "So where will we be exploring first?"

Boy, this male was boring. Like really boring. He didn't say aaaaanything! Come on! He was way old, and didn't have any stories at all!? Booooring. The excitable pup stuck his tongue out at the male and bounced away in a huff. It was difficult to look all annoyed when doing such a playful movement, but to prove a point, Parker was going to try. He needed someone to talk to, something to do. All o the adults were talking and stuff, and that was just boring. Even if he was considered a 'young adult,' he didn't want to just stand around and talk; he wanted to move around, to play even! Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a young pup, probably about his age. She was very pretty. Very very pretty. Just from the get go, he liked her appearance very much. Golden paws suddenly grew clumsy as he wandered towards her, and the fluffy male she clung to. The newly announced Salutary was talking about herbs and stuff, but Parker wasn't all that interested. His grey gaze was locked on the female. Her name wasn't spoken with the rest of them, so he presumed that she must be an Omega. Who cared. She was a pretty Omega. "Hi, my name's Parker! What's yours? Can I come with you on your adventure?" Parker rushed, focusing mostly on the still unnamed female, but he guessed that the other wolves could listen to. He'd never felt his stomach oddly twist in the way it was at the moment, so he didn't know what exactly to do to. He stuck to what he knew, jumpy, bubbly, fast-talking Parker. His ink-tipped tail whipped back on forth behind him as he took a moment to look at the other two wolves whom he had forcefully become the company of. They were okay. Nothing like the female though. Hydran "You're only as small as the world will make you seem."
Overly large paws came to a stop in front of his pile once more, delicately balancing two more pine-cones to his amassed collection. Hydran took a step back, puffing his chest out as he decided that he was proud to have eleven pine-cones sitting neatly at his feet. At this point, he didn't exactly care about whether or not he had won this little game between his siblings, as he had found himself caught up in the fact that he had been able to find so many. It was an accomplishment to be proud of, and he was sure that mummy would be very impressed to see how good he was at scavenging; and at such a young age too! Hydran looked up as this thought crossed his mind, remembering that his spitfire dame would return at any moment now...
There she was! There was no mistaking the golden pelt as it cut through the shrubbery of the Commons, and the incredibly familiar scent that accompanied her was more than enough to let him know that his mother had returned. Hydran's tail swashed violently behind him as he shifted on his massive paws before he began to bound over to the fluffy she-wolf, a small yap echoing off his young lips to alert his mother of the small creamy male's approach. The pup gave no care to the new wolves that accompanied her, they were strangers to him, and though they might have posed a threat to him and his siblings, he was too focused on his mother's returned presence as he began to follow alongside her stride with the widest gait he could muster, trying to keep up with her faster pace which led him to the base of the rock that she so frequently stood upon.
Hydran did not follow her up onto the rock. That was mummy's rock; mummy's special rock. He would only stand up there when no-one was looking, pretending to be the same respected and wise as his mother. This make-believe roll of his would have to wait for later, for now, his mother was busy assigning roles that he still did not fully understand to wolves who he did not know. There was not much that he could really comprehend, but he tried to act like he knew what was happening as he simply sat and smiled up at his gorgeous mother.
It was when his mother ascended from the rock that his tail began moving to-and-fro once again, her graceful form placing itself beside Hydran's oldest brother. "I hope you and your siblings have been behaving," Her angelic voice was aimed at Lysic, and Hydran wouldn't answer his question for him, but the third-oldest couldn't help but internally scoff. Of course he had been on his best behaviour...well, he only strayed a little ways past the boundaries that had been set. But it didn't hurt anyone, and he was fine! So by definition, yes, Hydran had behaved quite well.

Before the snowy white she-wolf could even provide a proper response, a sudden mottled onyx mass hurtled into his side with a delighted yelp, nuzzling her face into fluffed thick fur. A soft, tender warmth filled his features as she clung sweetly to his side, her soft voice touched by the haziest, faintest hint of fear. Curious, fatherly concern slipped onto his features, only for a moment as he pondered what could have made her nervous before her blithe, gentle touch reminded him that frankly, it didn't matter. She could've melted him completely. Gently, he'd sling a single polar white paw over her shoulders, drawing her bird-like, thin build closer to his own humongous one. Whatever had worried her now held no relevance. She had found her comfort; he would happily remain so as long as she deemed it necessary. "Aha, I will say that I trust your judgement,” Rose chuckled softly, playfully shaking her snowy hues in jest. “But I think it's best if I tagged along and gathered the herbs for myself." Excellent! He’d been hoping the sweet, pretty she-wolf would say yes. It would allow them to acclimate to Lubrusca’s rich lands without the worried, added chaos of crowded wolves. He could familiarize himself with his routes, his pathways, Macha could get a glimpse of her full, entire territory, and Snow could simultaneously begin to build her collection of herbs. Besides, the beautiful she-wolf had already shown a gentle affection towards Macha. Another friendly, added face in tow would easily make her more comfortable, quell any potential anxieties between her and her new packmates. "You got that Macha?" He'd whisper as Snow tossed her toffee, honeyed gaze over her shoulder, his tone playful, teasing. "We're going to go on an adventure." All of a sudden, a blurred, golden bundle of blondish fur around Macha's age materialized at her side, grey eyes glistening with giddy, playful glee. "Hi, my name's Parker! What's yours?" He began, his question geared solely towards his onyx-pitched object of interest. An ink-tipped, beating tail softly bat side-to-side as he awaited her answer, lifting bubbly, lively eyes to meet his own, greeting the two adults with a slight, gently simmered enthusiasm. "Can I come with you on your adventure?" Oh dear. Oh no. He knew that gleaming, eager glint far too well to know this four-legged fiend had far less interest in adventure. If he even considered placing filthy, thieving paws - He shook his giant head briefly in a quick attempt to clear it. They were children. Not yet even yearlings. Their time for that lay in a far, distant future seasons from now. Begrudgingly, he ground his teeth into a sharp, clenched smile, pressing his paw into Macha slightly more powerfully then previously. The blondish male, as much as he would hate to admit it, had most likely been living in Lubrusca his entire life. If they took him with, he could most likely share the proper scouting pathways, good hunting grounds, herb growths. Taking him could help them achieve their original tasks - and besides, as horrible as the idea sounded, it'd give Macha a wolf her age to talk to. "My name's Mochi," he began, drawing himself to his full height as he attempted a softer, more genuine smile. "Do you think you could show us where herbs grow here?" Omega Macha "Everybody Can Make Someone's Day, Just Smile And Say Hi!"
Macha let a childish whimper escape her lips without trying to withhold it, not caring if she seemed immature or babyish. She just wanted to be with Mokee, make sure he wouldn't leave her again. Reassurance flooded her as the male gently pressed her small frame closer to his own giant one giving her the feeling of being protected. Opening her silver tinted eyes for the first time since she had reunited with her Mokee, she found Snow Wose standing in front of them. Her lips moved in a sweet, almost slurred motion but the marbled pup found no want within her to find out what she was motioning. Instead she pulled her delicate face closer to the bear's chest, short inhales and exhales heaving her chest uncomfortably.
Tentative gaze was brought out from the safety of Mokee's fur once more as she felt his heated breath against her velvet fur. Macha looked at the bear's lips as he moved his them in a slower motion, something she was extremely grateful for. In her nervous state, she couldn't focus well. "You... got that... Macha." Her brows arched upward, realizing she had missed something within Snow Wose's speech. "Were going... to go on an-" Macha released a tightly held breath, eyes watching intensely as Mokee did the last word. "Ad-ven-chu-ur." Advenchuur. That sounded off. But maybe it was something new, something she didn't quite know about or had heard of. As she thought about this, her pace began to falter and grow rapidly to a quick, shallow breath every now and then. Gasping and releasing, gasping and releasing. It would calm her down some as long as she remembered to focus on pumping her lungs slowly. Slowly. Macha felt almost like one of those shiny, slippy things that were in water but weren't part of water. The concept confused her some because they looked like part of the water but she could easily remember that thing with it's gaping front hole, always making a chewing motion. What was it chewing? Water? How exactly did one chew water?
As buried in her thoughts as she was, Macha didn't fail to see the quickly approaching golden blob that appeared in her peripherals. Body tensed and eyes flew to the figure, snarl touching her lips though her body language contradicted her fierce show. But she couldn't snarl for long. That bubbly grin, that clumsy prance. A shy smile touched her own lips as the goofy male trotted toward them, amused by his bubbly nature for she hadn't seen anything really quite like it. His blonde tail swayed unstoppably and she found him to be rather approachable and friendly so it confused her slightly as Mokee pressed her a little closer to him. The male's lips flew and she had trouble catching the words, causing a confused expression to sprout on her face. "Hi, my names-" Wow, he had multiple names? "Par-ke-r!" Never mind. "Wha-tis your-ras?" She swallowed, her shy smile returning as she noted his last word, Ad-ven-chu-ur. She knew what that was, or thought she might know. Par-k-ur. That was an interesting name. "Huh-hi Par-k-ur." Macha took a deep breath, feeling slight breathlessness though it fazed away when she took a pause. "I-I'm Ma-mach-cha." Her own tail swayed tenderly, smiled growing wider as she unfolded a little bit from underneath Mokee though the majority of her body remained beneath his bear-like figure.

| Alphess Ventus of Lubrusca | Ventus was waiting on her son's reply, but as a familiar three-legged wolf approached, she quickly snapped her attention towards the she-wolf named Kai. She reported that two Ferus wolves had died on her territory while hunting. That was definitely news to her. But why would Kai try to help them? They were the reason why the lands were littered with blood, why she had lost her mate. A spark of hate welled within the pit of Ventus' stomach, and she looked towards Kai. "You needn't help the enemy. Let them die, see if I care," She said, giving a curt nod towards Kai before picking up Lysic by the scruff and taking him away from the three-legged deformed she-wolf. Bringing to drop her pup near her, she licked the top of his head, wondering if her other pups would gather around as well. | OOC: @kai Beta Lysic @erramun @fenrir Sentinel Hydran

H E A T H E RHunting Superior of Lubrusca Heather was occupied watching the pups while Ventus and Prim ventured to the borders that it seemed time passed so quickly. The she-wolf had not noticed the disappearance of Kai, the three-legged wolf that was definitely not any use to Lubrusca. Looking towards where there was now a lot of commotion, Ventus reemerged with a bunch of wolves following her a little while after she had left. It hadn't taken long for the Alphess to return, so she wondered how many new members were accepted. When she saw how many, she wondered what the pack that currently was occupying part of their territory would think. They would definitely not like the fact that Lubrusca was accepting new wolves, especially if it meant a possible rebellion against Ferus and the taking back of what was rightfully Lubrusca's. But she knew that Ventus didn't want meaningless blood shed over the fact that Ferus was taking up some of the hunting territory. They had plenty of prey, so they wouldn't need to worry about the upcoming winter. Bringing her attention to her superior, she listened as she started listing off ranks.
Heather's rank came as a surprise. She didn't know that she was thought so highly of when it came to hunting to become the Hunting Superior of the pack. But now that was her rank, and she would embrace it, since it was better than being a lowly Omega. Bringing her attention to the wolves named off as hunters, she eyed them, gauging their abilities and skills. Two of them seemed rather close, which meant that she would definitely need to keep them separated on hunts. Parker was also among the hunters, and she wasn't sure if the male was ready for the responsibility that his position held. He still acted like a pup, so having that kind of attitude would not help when hunting for the pack. She couldn't judge the attitude of the other three, so she simply barked. "Hunters!" She called to everyone that was there. "I will show you the hunting grounds, and we will have a hunting trial to see if you are worthy of your rank or not," She said, before heading towards the hunting grounds, flicking her tail for the other wolves to follow.

Kai flicked snow hued auricles, twitching in slight nervousness. But, with her luck, the lupine's fear were confirmed. As Ventus grew agitated, her attitude merely aggravated Kai further. Narrowing berry color eyes, a low growl bubbled in her throat as her Alphess spoke. "You needn't help the enemy. Let them die, see if I care," What? Was she dense? Did she loose her fucking mind? Her growl merely turned into a snarl, stepping forwards as the ginger bitch walked away. "What the hell? They're still wolves!" She snapped, shaking her head. "Lives, personalities." Turning away, the scarred she-wolf looked back once more. "I fought for this pack too, I lost things too." Blood boiling, the exasperated female stalked away, slipping in the direction from which she came. If anything, she was going to get those corpses off the territory before the hunters found them. .:. Exit to - Hunting Grounds .:.
OOC: Shitty post but Kai is dramatic whoops.

L Y S I CHeir of Lubrusca Lysic had been just mulling about when his mother returned with a horde of wolves. He could see that she was definitely pleased with the outcome, and his little tail wagged as he smiled. If his mother was happy, then he definitely would be too. The one eyed pup looked towards the ground, but then back up towards his mother. Scuttling over to listen to what she said about the new ranks, it seemed that the new wolves would hopefully help lift Lubrusca to its feet again, just like his mother had wanted. The celebration over the new wolves however, was cut short after his mother had approached him as well as Kai approaching her. He sat and listened, looking towards Ventus with a frown. What was death? Was it something to be scared of? He wanted to ask his mom, but he knew that maybe right now wouldn't be the best time. Kai was dismissed with a more than displeased attitude radiating from Ventus, and thus he assumed that the news was not good. As she picked him up by the scruff, he squirmed and wriggled, trying to escape. He may be unable to see in one eye, but Lysic didn't consider himself a pup that needed to be carried.
"Mother, what was Kai talking about?" He asked, looking towards the red female with a quizzical wolf. "Who are the Ferus wolves, and why did two of them die? What exactly is dying?" He asked, looking towards her. He wasn't sure what it was, as no one had really used the term around them. They had always skipped using it when talking about his father because the pups were just too young to understand that their dad was dead too. "Was that was happened to father?" The young one asked, knowing that maybe his mother would be able to answer his questions. The pups didn't know their father, and it seemed that he had been gone all their lives. He wondered what had happened. They were told he fought nobly for the pack, but were never told of what had happened after the war, except that their father had gone missing.

While she casually eyeballed her fellow members, Prim would subconsciously note that no one had noticed her short little freak as Kai appeared. That was a relief. The last thing she wanted was others to look down on her despite her rank. She had to prove that she was worthy of being a Delta, as she was now, but how? She couldn't have possible proved herself already. Maybe future potential, but certainly not current skills. The idea that she was now third in line for alpha gave her pup-like excitement, though she controlled it well. Everything was moving like a dream and the yearling simply couldn't get a handle on her rank. Prim had vaguely heard that Heather was ranked up to hunting superior, a suitable rank indeed. As she called for her hunters to follow, Prim barely caught herself from jumping up and bounding over. Interacting with others wasn't her strong suit, but the idea of actually doing some work had her interested. Alas, she reminded herself that hunting wasn't a top priority to her. So, it still begged the question of what the hell she could do. Her normal everyday duties? Training? Training others? Ventus' sudden angered tone startled Prim out of her thoughts, pretty orbs flicking over toward her and Kai once again. The fiery Alphess took her pup and sauntered off, although Kai looked far from dismissed. A loud snarl erupted from her vocals, causing Prim to leap to her paws. But what was she to do? Kai was still an omega, making herself more superior, but she sure as hell didn't feel superior. If she chose to step in she feared her ears would be clawed off. " What the hell? They're still wolves! Lives, personalities." Kai shook her head. " I fought for this pack too, I lost things too," she continued, furious. Prim trotted towards her, cranium low as she sympathetically whispered her name. Before she could say more, though, the three-legged wolf was off, racing in the same direction the hunters had gone. Only herself, Ventus, the beta, scouts, and omegas were left in the commons as the others wandered off. The area still buzzed with commotion, numbers at a lower and more comfortable place for Prim. She had grown so used to their tiny little pack that she couldn't hardly swallow all that had happened now. The yearling couldn't bare sitting around anymore, though, as she made her way shyly towards Ventus. Hopefully the Alphess wouldn't be too angry with Kai. Prim stopped at her side, still abiding to the idea that she had to stay a respectable distance away from the Alphess, sure to not squish any pups as she took a seat. " Umm... excuse me for my interruption," she began, letting her eyes fall to the floor. " But what am I to do..? I-it's a great honor to be ranked Delta, by the way. Thank you," she warily continued, dipping her head in thanks. Her eyes slowly wandered over the faces of the pups that were around, and if she were to catch their eyes she would offer a friendly smile. It made her sad knowing she never had such a peaceful life as a pup, but if she could do anything she would help make sure these pups could have all the fun she never experienced.
