| Alphess Ventus of Lubrusca | - Time Skip: 3 months - Ventus' orange body was curled around her pups. They were weened, but they were sleeping with her still in her den for the time being. She wasn't going to let them wander out just in case there were hawks above that could come pick them up and take them away. She wasn't going to lose one of them. She was still grieving over Joktan, Snowpaw and Connor. The three wolves in her life she loved with every piece of her heart were murdered by the monstrous wolves that had invaded her territory 3 months ago. It was now changing seasons, the trees littering the ground, shedding their beautiful leaves. Colors of red, yellow, orange and green littered the ground. It was the perfect season for her pup to grow up in. It wasn't too warm anymore, as it was starting to become cooler at night, and it would mean that soon winter would be upon the territory. Her pups would be large enough by then to survive and help the pack hunt. Of course, in the territory that they still owned. Upon having lost the war between her pack and Ferus, she had given up rights to part of her territory to the others. It was a begrudging agreement to do so, as she would have rather had them walk away and never come back, but it was the terms they asked. She was still allowed to have her pack live by itself on its own, instead of them ruling over it. She would be able to bring her pups and raise them within peace, so long as they never touched Ferus' borders.
Yawning, she looked to her pups. One of the males looked just like his father, large and rather bulky. She knew that he was going to be the largest of the litter already. Even though he wasn't the first born. The first born was comparatively going to be large, but it seemed that most of the siblings had inherited her smaller body type. Nudging them all, she smiled. "Lysic, Erramun, Hydran, Fenrir, Lirik, Devika, its time to get up," She said to them, looking down at all six with loving eyes. Devika was the only girl of the litter, and she was quite different. Although she had inherited her father's pelt color, her nose and pawpads were pink, and the rest of her body colorless. Ventus wondered what was wrong with her, if there was something Ventus should be afraid of happening to her little girl. Her sibling Lysic also had a little mishappening with one of his eyes. When he was just opening them, she noticed that his left eye was always clouded, not having the same appearance as his other eye that had gone from a blue to a beautiful orange. She also noticed that he wasn't able to consistently see things that were coming on his left side. She would hope that her son would be able to adapt to his inability to see, especially considering he was the successor to the throne.
After the pups were to rise from their sleep, Ventus would bring herself to her paws, yawning and stretching her small body. Making sure that her pups would follow close behind her, she would enter the commons, taking in a small sniff of the air. It was peaceful in Lubrusca. The smell of death had faded, and now there was just the scents of her few packmates that were left. Heather, Kai and Kenai, her Omegas. Prim, Shibaan and Parker, three pups that were almost ready to begin their training to become adults. And Ebony. The one wolf that Ventus could rely upon for anything that mattered. After Snowpaw passed, he had been the one to help her every step of the way. He was the wolf that she had promoted to being her Beta for all his hard work and dedication to the pack. She wondered if he was still in the commons, waiting for her to wake up. Or maybe he was off scenting the borders like Snowpaw would do before returning to the commons. Ventus missed her companion greatly, and it felt like there was a large hole sitting in the middle of her heart.
Letting out a brief bark, she would wait for her packmates to rise from their dens, hopefully they would be able to hunt down something with the little wolves they had.

Kai .:. Omega of Lubrusca "If everything seems to be going well, you obviously overlooked something."
Days, months of grief had passed. The harsh rays of the sun had faded, the trees giving into the forces of nature, their leaves transitioning from crisp green, to a warm amber mixture. The weather harbored a sharp nip, but the wolves of Lubrusca began to grow their winter coats, keeping their skin soft and warm. Each day came with a new memory, fresh and painful like an open wound. Snowpaw's youthful expressions. Connor, who passed so bravely, and the hulking white form of Joktan. Kai - who had not interacted with said wolves to much - still felt the numbed sensation of pain every now then. Of course, since the battle, each and every wolf took the blow in different ways. Vetnus became deathly protective of her young, who now trailed behind her out of the den.
Hauling herself out of the shadows, Kai hobbled into the clearing, stretching out her three usable legs. Her hind leg that bad been badly snapped by both her own decisions, and a certain malicious male. One who would now be taking her territory as his own. Blinking darkly hued optics, she cast her gaze to Ventus, her expression blank, which became the usual after the war. Flicking her half-tail, the small lupine dipped her head in greeting, allowing a fake, but polite smile to grace her pretty features. Her right hind leg folded against her torso, bent at an awkward angle upwards. With the lack of a suitable salutary, her leg had been left with only basic mending. Soon, her bone deteriorated and her nerves numbed and died. The loss of the use of the limb hardly affected the Omega, nonetheless. She still was blessed with the same speed - though it took her about a month to relearn - and her strength had improved since her brawl against the two Ferus wolves. The once beautiful she-wolf was covered in scars that split through her fur, her neck and shoulders came out the worse, large pink faded wounds curling around her muscles. The least effective of her wounds, surprisingly, was the fact that half her tail had been torn away. It hardly effected her way of life, besides the pain that used to stab at her. "Hunting today?"
Blinking, the scarred female let her eyes hover around the Alphess' paws, only trailing up now and then towards her muzzle. "How are the pups?" Her soft voice was cool, and cut. Though a sense of shame still encircled it. Since the battle, Kai lost any sense of self-confidence, now constantly perfecting moves, and helping with any chores she could muster. As she awaited the rest of the pack, and her superior's reply, she licked downy fur, drawing whatever fur she could over her obvious scars.

A sudden feminine bark startled Prim out of her peaceful sleep, the she-wolf flinching awake in an instant. For once, her dreams weren't haunted by her distant past, nor the scary war she had gone through only three months ago. She had to admit, she didn't expect her personality to grow as it did. 3 months ago she would have assumed she was cursed with an eternity of timidness that she could not rid, yet now her persona had blossomed. The weight of the war didn't hang so heavily on Prim as it did the others. She was young, and new to the pack back then she hardly knew any of those that died. Now, she tried to act as a bit of sunshine within her pack to warm everyone up. It was quite odd seeing the Ferus wolves from time to time, or just the fact that she could almost always faintly smell their musty aura. Yet, Prim had settled in as best she could with the very few members that were still left in Lubrusca. Alas, Alphess Ventus was carrying pups all along, and now the commons felt just a bit more lively with six new babies. On the contrary, Prim didn't act so much like a pup anymore. She was now ten months old, showing more of an interest in learning how to hunt and helping. For now, at least, that precisely what she did; help. The mature young lady slowly crept out of her small den, which happened to be more of a Prim sized bowl in the ground right under the branches of a pine tree. For now it was quite cozy, but with Autumn setting in and the soon to come winter, Prim would have to find something warmer underground. A warm sunlight soon kissed her gorgeous new pelt as she stretched. Prim looked around the commons, eagerly awaiting the exciting buzz to form as wolves awoke. Almost instantly her eyes met the battered figure of Kai, someone she had known since before she joined Lubrusca. Prim copied, trotting briskly over toward her alphess and her wonderful little pups. " Good morning, " she'd chirp, directed toward everyone. It had almost become a habit for her to instantly look towards Ventus, asking of her what she could help with. Prim had grown accustom to busying herself, more of a duty on her to help keep the tiny group of Lubrusca functional, even if she couldn't do much. " What can I help with today? I'd love to watch some wolves hunt, although i'd be just as happy patrolling the borders. Perhaps I could collect some warmer material for us all to decorate our dens with?" she'd offer, sitting a close but comfortable distance away from the she-wolf, while careful not to interrupt Kai as well. Prim was old enough now to understand that uncle Joktan was no longer, and the weight of his death along with Ventus' friends still hung heavy in her eyes. She didn't understand love, and her bonds toward everyone that still existed were not yet strong, but she at least had the feeling that she she-wolf could use the space. As she waited for the alphess to respond, Prim's white and lilac orbs flickered calmly over the commons, watching and waiting for others to join and discuss the day's plans.

The small pup slept comfortably in a knot of brothers and sister, body pressed close to his mother as possible. Only thing to rise the snoring fluff was the loving tone of Ventus. Flicking his ears, he cracked his orange eyes open to only snuggle into the orange fur of his parent. The scent of home clung to her, the only smell he has known for the last two months of his life. He had only been recently introduced to the other smells of the pack mates but had become too timid to leave his mother’s side. She always gave off the feeling of worry and sadness, something he did not know how to cope with. He had heard other’s once talk about a war but he did not understand what a war was, only that it caused everyone he was beginning to know to hurt. Lirik let out a small whine as his mother’s body moved away from him, the heat slowly leaving his side. He quickly stood and trotted after her, not wanting to leave his gentle heater for too long. He would probably be considered a mama’s boy, although, he was still very young and his siblings were the same. His mother in his eyes was his everything and he would not leave her unless she commanded him to. Plopping himself underneath his mother, he nosed her stomach and chest before turning his attention to the appearance of wolves. Shuffling he folded himself into his closest sibling, whoever that was to be. Each wolf seemed to bow to his mother and show a great deal of respect. Lirik was still learning about pack wolf and hierarchy, and wondered if he should do the same to his mother or if he got a free pass. Flicking his ears he listened to each wolf speak, his orange eyes inspecting the others. The downy she-wolf in front of him seemed to be deformed. He couldn’t stop staring at the mass of pink strips that lingered over her body, her attempts at covering them failing. She also walked on two legs and he wondered why she wouldn’t use her fourth. Was there something wrong with it? What happened? Finally tearing his eyes away from the war littered she-wolf, he gazed at another wolf. Her fur was interesting and quite pretty, and soft. He had the urge to feel the fur and for a moment he moved as if to approach the she-wolf but halted when he got just got out from his mother.

Fenrir .:. Lubrsuca Pup
Sleepy eyes blinked at the sudden light that hit them, illuminating a pair of pale orange optics. Stretching dark jaws in a quiet, mumbley yawn, the son of the Alpha, and Alphess stood reluctantly, blinking away the tired, drifting into his usual quiet exterior. The quiet, loving voice of his mother soon brought his siblings into reality, where Fenrir stood waiting calmly. "Lysic, Erramun, Hydran, Fenrir, Lirik, Devika, its time to get up," Looking up at her with innocent eyes, he drifted over to her, rubbing the length of his small body along her leg, smiling contently as he weaved about her, enjoying her warmth, and soothing scent. Without waiting for his siblings, he skittered directly behind his mother, entering the clearing without any hesitation. As his siblings presumably stuck by his mother, in a new strike of his own growing independence, the mocha hued pup allowed himself to distance from his mother, standing about 1.5 feet away, close, but enough so he had room.
Glancing around plainly, he found himself stuck on a rather battered wolf, one who didn't receive proper medical attention - it was obvious with the way her wounds had healed themselves, and the fact that she relied on only three of her four legs. Distress bubbled inside him for the war-torn female, his heart yearning with the desire to heal, to learn how to keep easily preventable disabilities from happening like the one who stood before him. He almost wanted to press his nose against her, comforting her as she weakly tried to cover her obvious wounds. But, he tore his gaze away, and instead briefly listened to the other wolf who harbored rather pretty fur. Tilting his head, he turned back to his mother, awaiting her reaction to their speech.

Slowly, a feeble heap of faded apricot fluff expanded and deflated with each silent breath rosette nasals drew in. The chilled autumn nights had begun to provide the perfect snuggling weather, causing the multi-pup litter to huddle into the warmth of russet dams pelt. Mornings light being the furthest cause of young, sole females disturbance. Instead, the light shifting of her sibling's masses and the larger nudge being that of their mothers.
"Lysic, Erramun, Hydran, Fenrir, Lirik, Devika, it's time to get up." The particularly familiar vocal, one that had only recently been taken in by developing ears, was what drew pale curtains to begin fluttering. Blurred optics would first absorb the presence of an abundance of fuzz, multiple hues to be perceived as each pup began to arise. As she blinked a few times over, small jowls would spread as wide as physically possible, pin-prick protruding milk teeth to be exposed as a small squeak escaped the females lungs.
Barely focused upon the actions of her brothers, the pigment lacking bundle all but began to stumble to stumpy legs full height, slightly larger cranium jerking to and fro as she worked to balance on disproportianate frame. Once the youthful princess was steadied, her steel-gray orbs, not yet colored by her adult tinge, quickly tracked the familiar lupine that was her mother, Ventus. The undeniable scent-trail that lead to her being further proof the creature was indeed the correct target as the ivory puff-ball began to stumble along her chosen path. Glowing den's entrance being one that didn't phase her, the outside world beyond though, was a different story. Multiple other masses lurked in it's expanse, and the overwhelmingly pungent smell of nature's newness struck her harshly. Yet, it dared not scare her; No, it intrigued her.
At least one or two times the pipsqueak of a female would have stumbled over her overly large paws, growing mass being one that put her in an uneven, clumsy state of tripping and falling. With little complaint she came to an awkward side stepping moment before colliding with recently halted dam's rear leg. Eyes widening as she excreted a undeterminable vocal of some form, only to begin toddling forth yet again. One, two, three... six steps later and she came to a pause, her curious eyes skipping across the vastness of the outside commons.
Jerking her head upwards, Devika would let her slender, short muzzle point towards her mothers sudden yip. It was a call of sorts, yet it was one Devi hadn't heard all that often, she was tempted to try and ask why, but soon enough her consideration was answered. It was a call to summon those who lay beneath their mothers, their Alphess', reign. Slowly multiple wolves began to appear, unknown words being spoken in a blur of conversation towards only one pair of ears who'd truly acknowledge them. As the albino pup positioned herself beside her mothers front right leg, she let round rump kiss the earth with barely a thud, only a single stumble to be seen as antena like tail merely pointed skywards.
It was here, close to her protectors leg that the only girl would remain. Dull colored eyes observing the statures of those who approached, never once chosing to move closer or further from their presence; after all, mother would protect her. Silence was her gift, and so, being as she was, she merely listened to the mumbles of unfamiliar voices, this would be how she would learn to communicate with those around her, though for now she chose to be a background prop.

Hydran "You're only as small as the world will make you seem."
It was the largest pup of the litter who had managed to squirm his way into the crook of his mother's body, his small frame being tucked tight between her foreleg and abdomen, while Fenrir--no, Lysic, maybe Devika? He wasn't sure--was pressed to his other side. It was a cocoon of warmth, fur and familiar bonds, all of which Hydran thrived off as he nudged his snout closer to his mother's larger body. But unfortunately, he was met instead with her movement. "Lysic, Erramun, Hydran, Fenrir, Lirik, Devika, its time to get up," her sweet and mellow tunes managed to reach his opened ears, the rich sound being one of Hydran's favourites, along with the catalogued melody of the winged creatures which lived outside, and the sound that the big green things--trees--made when they caught in the cool breeze of Autumn.
Hydran was of course slow to his feet, his larger and fluffier body being slightly bulkier than that of his smaller siblings. Wide and overly large paws began their trail after his mother, his body merely falling forward as he swung his chubby legs out in the hopes that he would catch himself and spring into the motion that he had learnt as "walking". The young male grunted with every step, he identified it as a ferocious and tough sound, but it would have been more of a squeak to others.
Hydran was quick on his mother's tail, weaving between his siblings and almost falling flat on his snout a few time, but other than that he carried himself quite well. Bright eyes looked up to his mother as he brought his shoulders back like she did, holding his head at a higher angel and kicking his legs out in a marching motion, attempting to imitate his mother's stride. Even when her graceful form came to a stop, Hydran continued forward, happy with himself and his progress in being able to walk. He giggled to himself, a smirk overcoming his small maw as he watched his paws land in the frosted grass, small blades of greenery parting just for him. But it was when he bumped into the leg of a taller figure that he stopped, this time taking a few steps back only to fall flat on his rump.
Creamy head looked upwards, curious to see what he had run into. Surprisingly, he was not scared by the war-beaten face that he found. He was indeed curious to know what had left the strange pink blotches of skin to be scattered through her pretty fur, and why she was walking so weirdly. Hydran's tail began to sway gently behind him, proud of himself for being the first of his litter to approach this curious looking she-wolf. He even let his maw stretch into a smile and a small yap form in his throat, a greeting to the larger creature. Would she attempt to commune in return? She did know how to speak like his mother, right? Maybe he could begin to learn even more from these other faces that now surrounded him. Hydran's chest puffed in excitement as he would watch more friendly faces eventually gather around.

The loss had been what Kenai could only describe as humiliating. She had stayed on the ground for ages after the revolting Ferus dogs had bitten and scratched shame into her fur, wondering what she would do next. Leave Lubrusca? She'd figured they'd all died anyway. She'd also considered trying to join Ferus, but that idea had been dismissed fairly quickly. No pack in their right mind would accept her in her state, and if they had, those lawless hounds would probably have killed her in her sleep. And so Kenai had gotten up, spewing blood, and dragged her sorry hide right back into the paws of Lubrusca. She'd been disappointed that not more of them had been killed off, but also relieved that she wasn't completely alone. Her happiness didn't last long. Not only did she soon find out that Joktan, the only wolf that Kenai somewhat respected within the pack, had been slaughtered during the battle, but his pups were soon birthed by that fiery-furred Ventus. What a joy it was, that such a surprise be thrust upon the she-wolf in a time like this. Kenai had taken it as a personal attack against herself. Whether she deserved those white mutts or not, she loathed them the second the news of their arrival had spread. She didn't have to see them to know they were useless rats. At least Prim had been mostly shaken out of her juvenile stupidity and seemed to be trying to support the pack. So, when Kenai woke up from her dreamless sleep, she knew what to expect. The maggots were out. Her orange-toned eyes squinted only a little contemptuously in their direction. The long-limbed female climbed into a standing position, stretched out her stiff, white arms and shook out the dust from her pelt. Reluctantly did the female make her way towards the group of wolves that had gathered (even after all this time, Kenai still kept to her own secluded sleeping spot) and hovered silently near Kai and Ventus, doing her best to ignore the grotesque little worms that yipped here and there at their paws. Kenai enjoyed lurking around Kai when she had the time, she found the other female's shame to be both comforting and entertaining. Should the Alphess look her way, Kenai would offer a tiny, polite? nod and avert her gaze. She silently awaited the answer to Kai's question. Alphess Ventus @kai @prim @allthepups

The bouncy pup had been awake for a few minutes before he had heard Ventus' bark. He had created his own little den in the commons, a shabby hole, but still enough of a home. He didn't love his paw-made home, it made him feel further away from everyone in the pack. Especially Uncle Jok. He used to sleep outside his and Ventus' den, but since Connor and Snowpaw and Uncle Jok had gone, he had moved away. He didn't like the shadow of grief that dampened all of Lubrusca, so he set his mind to something else. He built himself a den, he memorized everyone's names, he continually wondered how Ventus kept inflating. She was like a dead deer, except beautiful, constantly swelling before she popped. Now there were six new friends in the world, but they were all super small, and apparently, Parker was now too old to be playing around all the time. Not that that was going to stop him; he was going to play until he was some old, creaky monster oldie. Shooting out of his hole at the sound of Ventus' call, Parker beamed brightly up at everyone that was awake at the moment. There was Ventus, of course, and Kai, and Kenai, and Prim, and Lirik, and Fenrir, and Devika, and Hydran. It was practically a party! However, there was only one problem, Kai and Prim seemed like they wanted to do chores, first thing in the morning. He honestly could not figure out what was wrong with those two wolves. Who would want to actually do stuff as soon as they woke up? The golden pup envied the six bodies that huddled near Ventus. They didn't have to do anything at all, except eat, sleep, and learn how to do basic stuff like talk and run and play with him. "Good morning Ventus and Kai and Kenai and Prim and Fenrir and Hydran and Devika and Lirik!" Parker barked into the crisp morning air. His black-tipped tail whipped back and forth with great enthusiasm as he stood in the grass. He knew that now he had responsibilities in the pack, but he really didn't want to do anything. He knew that hunting and patrolling and getting bedding like Prim had suggested would be a large part of his life in the future, but he wasn't ready to simply do them. He would much rather just run around and play, but Prim was now all mature, and he doubted that Shibaan would run around with him. The six other pups in the pack were too small to run around and he doubted that Ventus would let them. It was looking like he was the only one in Lubrusca that really really really wanted to just have fun all the time. It was exhausting, trying to find someone to play with him whenever he wanted to play, and by the time the tiny pups would be able to play with him, he would be, like, a real adult. Doing stuff that actually helped the pack. Willingly. Gross. Alphess Ventus @kai @kenai @prim @fenrir @lirik Sentinel Hydran Hunter Devika

Heather was woken up by the sounds of wolves in the commons, and the previous bark of the Alpha. She grumbled slightly, not wanting to get up and bring herself away from her cozy den. She'd rather spend her time laying there, being able to be grumpy by herself instead of having to put on a front for her packmates. She hadn't really known any of the wolves that were part of the massacre that wiped out all of Lubrusca's members besides four of the adults and the three pups. So she hadn't felt as pained when they died in battle, nor did she understand why everyone else was so upset. They had hardly known the wolves for very long to even be too upset about them having lost and died. War was war, and lives were lost on both ends, although Lubrusca faced more dire consequences than Ferus had. Heather was upset that Ventus let them win so easily, but the female was pregnant, and there wasn't anything she could do. Deciding that it was enough time spent in her den, especially if the Alphess were to have noticed, she brought herself to a stand, stretching out her limbs, and a stifled yawn to accompany it. Bringing herself outside of her den, her eyes would land on the pups that were littered at Ventus' paws. They were about two months old, weened, and ready to face the world it seemed. Heather didn't really care if they were pups or not, she found them annoying just as the other wolves in the pack were. Heather couldn't really be as cynical as she always wanted to be in her head towards her packmates, but she knew that she wouldn't ever probably be comfortable around these wolves. Looking towards the excited body of Parker, she would roll her eyes, making sure no one saw before she approached the group, waiting for orders from the Alphess on what they were going to do today. @lirik Hunter Devika @fenrir Beta Lysic Alphess Ventus @kai @kenai Hunting Superior Parker @shibaan25 @prim

| Alphess Ventus of Lubrusca | Ventus watched as her packmates appeared one by one. There weren't that many wolves here, but it seemed that the ones that were there at least were willing to do something. Her pups seemed to be a little energetic and were all coming out into the commons. Looking towards the others, she wondered who she would send to do what, but then she was interrupted by the howling at the borders. It meant that there were wolves here. The prospect of new members sparked Ventus' eyes to a fiery orange once again instead of the dull it had been since Joktan's death. Looking around at her wolves, she wondered what all of them were thinking. Would they be happy there were wolves around that would be able to contribute to the pack, and bring it back to its former glory? Hopefully.
"It looks like we have new wolves at the borders. Ebony should be there, but I want Kenai and Prim to come with me to the borders. Heather, Parker and Kai, would you please watch the pups for me? And maybe come up with a hunting strategy we can use to celebrate when our new guests are evaluated and accepted?" Her voice was somewhat more full of life than before. She would bring her gaze to drift over her little ones. Lysic had toddled behind, seemingly waddling over to Parker to see the other male possibly. Giving a small smile to her eldest pup, she would flick her tail before she would rise to her paws. She was still losing weight from her pregnancy, but the Alphess was still prideful and full of dominance with how she stood. Sweeping her gaze over her pups, she would give them smiles. "Mommy will be back okay? Stay here and play with Parker for a little," She would point her nose towards the male. She knew that he was still a pup himself sort of, so he might be the best option to have to play with the little ones. Looking towards Kenai and Prim, she would nod for the two to follow and them would head off towards the borders, hoping that these new wolves would be the saviors of Lubrusca.

Unfortunately, it seemed some of the Lubrusca wolves were more reluctant to leave their cozy dens than others. Fine. I can do plenty of chores! Yet, as soon as she would think more into the idea, the commons began to stir, many familiar faces coming to join her, Ventus, Kai, and the numerous pups. " Good morning Ventus and Kai and Kenai and Prim and ..." Prim sighed, recognizing the hyper tone right off the bat with a roll of her eyes. Parker. She almost forgot about him, one of the few that was her age, yet it was typical for her to forget his existence constantly. Still to this day, she wasn't particularly fond of the excitable pup. He acted as exactly that; a pup, and though he was, he was getting old, and there was simply no time to be screwing around with butterflies for brains. Thankfully in the months that he grew, he seemed to at least get the hint that sh' e didn't want to play, and so he preferred to stray from her. Far away sounded an array of harmonious howls, echoing into the sky and reaching the packs ears. There were wolves, and the were at the borders by the sounds of it. The last batch of newcomers Prim had seen was herself along with the others that were accepted months ago. She hated to admit it, but Lubrusca desperately needed a restock on loyal members. Their currently numbers of wolves that could be of help were depressingly low, and with many new mouths to feed they would need the help. Nevertheless, Prim had to hide her sour face at the thought of having to talk to new wolves. Bright smiles, maybe a hi, but nothing more, she would plan. Even if she had no title in her pack, Prim knew by heart that she was at least slightly more superior than the rogues that gathered at the borders, and they deserved no more kindness than necessary. " It looks like we have new wolves at the borders. Ebony should be there, but I want Kenai and Prim to come with me to the borders. Heather, Parker and Kai, would you please watch the pups for me? And maybe come up with a hunting strategy we can use to celebrate when our new guests are evaluated and accepted?" Ventus would say, suddenly full of energy that showed brightly in her eyes. What? After cooning a little goodbye to her pups, Ventus would begin the journey towards the borders, gesturing for herself and Kenai to follow. " B-but.. but" Prim stuttered, completely averse to the idea of having to be one of the first faces the rogues would see. She didn't need to attract any attention to herself, much less did she care about any of them or who was accepted. Prim trusted that Ventus knew who they needed and who they didn't, even being so desperate for new members. The Alphess' dominate figure soon disappeared from the commons, Prim beginning to scamper after her, unable to conceal her frustrated expression. ~Exit to Lub Borders~

At the mention of her name, Kenai's eyes twitched and she glanced down at the over-excited pup. It was a good thing that he hadn't really been speaking to her, though, because she subsequently averted her gaze. The little twit's existence mattered very, very little to the leggy female. Who she was willing to pay some form of attention to, however, soon spoke up. Announcing new wolves at the borders, Alphess Ventus went on to explain that herself, Kenai and Prim were going to investigate them. That was completely fine by Kenai, and as much as she disliked young Prim, it wasn't the worst companion she could have wound up with. She'd take what she could get, especially considering that all of her remotely likable pack-mates had perished those few months ago. While Ventus coddled her vermin and Prim stuttered like a child, Kenai waited as patiently as she could and forced her eyes not to roll. Usually she would have been suspicious as to why the Alphess would want her at her side, but at the moment she was so eager to leave that she could hardly bring herself to care. The scent of Lubrusca was so concentrated here that it was almost foul, and with the constant yapping of pups on top of it, it was Kenai's own personal hell. Graciously taking Ventus' nod as her cue, the white female leapt into action and took up a steady pace behind her leader's fiery figure. She did not wait for Prim or bother to see if she'd quit blubbering long enough to tag along. Taking a deep breath, Kenai finally started to relax. [ EXIT to LUB BORDERS ] Alphess Ventus @prim

Pup Erramun Of Lubrusca
The little tan pup pushed into the warm fur of his mother, his eyes half opened but his brain just barely awake. Erramun yawned, his sweet orange gaze opening further, ears lifting upward to hear the coaxing words of his orange gilded mother. "Lysic, Erramun, Hydran, Fenrir, Lirik, Devika, its time to get up," Erramun closed his eyes a moment longer before lazily climbing to his large and clumsy paws. He looked up at his mother's gentle eyes watching her pups with care and smiled sleepily. The warmth of his mother was soon to leave. The sleep that still encased him disappeared at that moment as Erramun realized that the squirming pile of his family was exiting their warm, safe den. The little tan pup yawned and trotted placidly after his mom, his apricot eyes gazing around him in slight curiosity.
Erramun sat down on the cool soil by his parent, gentle gaze glancing up at her for a quick moment before surveying the wolves exiting their separate dens and joining his mom. A few inquired about 'the pups' or tasks they could do and one even chirped a joyful morning greeting. Erramun sat silently, watching all with an inquisitive look on his young features. He noticed the she-wolf with unnatural scars and whatnot. The male thrust his black cased muzzle forward to study closer the odd wounds, taking note of her clean cut but still almost... dismayed tone from earlier. Perhaps questions about her wounds and scars should be saved for when they would be less recent. Things like that could be sensitive.
His cream furred ears turned skyward, instantaneously pulling his attention from the scared female and toward a place in the pack's territory he had never been. He looked toward his mother, seeing the sudden brightness of life flaring in her eyes. "It looks like we have new wolves at the borders. Ebony should be there, but I want Kenai and Prim to come with me to the borders. Heather, Parker and Kai, would you please watch the pups for me? And maybe come up with a hunting strategy we can use to celebrate when our new guests are evaluated and accepted?" The little boy exhaled quietly. He wasn't nervous, his mom was strong enough to handle some old wolves. He smiled trustingly up at her, getting up and coming forward to rub against her before she spoke. "Mommy will be back okay? Stay here and play with Parker for a little," Erramun nodded and followed her cue toward the energetic blonde male whom was called Parker. He turned back just in time to watch his single parent depart with a hesitant Prim and the too gracious Kenai.

Shibaan blinked her eyes open slowly, her vision coming into focus as she became aware of the commotion in the clearing. It seemed she was one of the last to rise. Her teeth flashed as she yawned, and her gray-green eyes scanned the area. Shibaan stood slowly, stretching her stiff muscles. Her tawny pelt was no longer that of a pup, and she had grown astoundingly in the last few months. Now closer to adulthood, she barely considered herself a pup anymore. The young wolf stretched her gangly legs as she made her way closer to the others just in time to see Prim and Kenai leave with Ventus. Damn it, she swore silently. But that's what happens when you sleep in, Shibaan reminded herself bitterly. You miss the exciting things. The she-wolf padded closer to the others, slightly resentful about being left to a boring task around camp. Her tan ears perked when she caught sight of the first one of the pups, however, a tiny brown male that reminded Shibaan of herself at that age. She padded over to Parker, a tiny bounce in her step, her bitterness about being left behind almost forgotten. "Please tell me we get to play with the pups while Ventus is gone," she said, stopping next to him and smiling at the brown pup. The amber-colored wolf glanced around the commons, her gaze pausing on the other two wolves, Heather and Kai. She smiled politely at both of them, unsure of what to say. Kai's scars made her feel guilty every time she saw them, bringing back memories of the terror and confusion of the battle, and how she had done nothing to stop the attack, simply hiding with the other pups. The young she-wolf sat down after a moment, feeling slightly awkward. She refocused her attention on the pups to distract herself, her tail wagging slightly to invite any of the pups to come and greet her.
