PUP CECILIA
OF
LUBRUSCA
Cecilia let the smallest of bubble noises as Mochi moved, disrupting her position. She didn't know when but she fell asleep again. Being a little one was rough stuff. Realizing slowly, she was one of the last in the commons area she slunk back to her den. Waddling into the warm and toasty room, she spotted the sound asleep Aunt Ventus. Her siblings were either awake or being behaved toddlers, moving about the den.
Slumping against the den wall she inched her way until she was nicely wedged between Ventus and the wall. She liked this position and commonly wiggled herself somewhere underneath or squished next to her father. Cecilia wasn't tired after her power nap outside but enjoyed the closed in space around her. She also didn't want to play or talk right now, however, she would listen to what was going on around her. Humming she wriggled a little more until she was just right and settled in.

Basil's telling of her story in her mind cut off and the little, black pup looked around once more, the excitement of the stories from the older wolves was taking its toll on her obviously. Her legs stretched forward as her paws scratched at the dirt, a tiny, high pitched yawn escaping her maw. Basil blinked then, licking her lips, pink tongue flicking quickly around her jaws. The pup moved slowly about the den, searching for a place to hunker down and get some sleep, finally she found the perfect little spot she could put her back to the others and get some sleep. Basil circled the spot a couple times then plopped down unceremoniously and laid her black head on her paws, closing her still grey eyes and falling asleep easily, a talent that she was rather proud of, she could sleep, any time, anywhere, and she was always quick to sleep as well.

"You have to," Ebony spoke out in the midst of the voices yelling in her head, causing her breath the hitch in her throat. Prim had yet to fully assume her role, that she would replace ebony one day, but now it was so soon in sight that she panicked, feeling bile rise in her throat. She felt underprepared, undertrained, and now her mentor was going to dive right into a battle and was possibly going to fie because of it. The tears she felt stung her eyes more as she looked for help, but found no one. Her heart felt like it would explode. Unsure of what her next move should be, her natural instinct to busy herself prodded her brain, pulling her towards the Borders where she knew Dante and the hunters were. Bicolored eyes followed Ebony’s form as he followed Flint and Kai before she ran towards the outskirts in seach of the party of hunters. She felt her world crumbling, perhaps this would take her mind off of it. -Exit to: Outskirts- @ebony

The lulling voice of Auntie Ventus had coaxed the young pup to sleep. His dreams were filled with totally epic stories about Ventus and Mochi and his Dad and... in an instant he was wide awake as the sound of growling. A thick tongue smoothing down his fur made him giggle and realize that the situation was nowhere near as scary as it had seemed. As he woke up, the head of his father was replaced with Uncle Mochi's. After another totally wicked story, Mochi popped the question, "Is that what all of you want to be? Lubrusca’s future leaders?"
At that, Milo perked up a whole lot more. Lubrusca's future leaders? That would be so much work! Heck no! Maddox and Nascha could do all the work, he was going to have all the fun! "I want to play forever!" the lanky spitfire popped out of his Aunt's fur and bounded towards the entrance of the den. As Mochi disappeared into another part of the territory, Milo turned back to face his Aunt. "So... can we go back out now?"

Salutary Snow Rose
The girl who's always smiling
With her crown hung uncharacteristically low, the Salutary eventually returned to the riverside encampment, creamy paws dragging through the icy snow in her borderline melancholic state of mind. For once in her life, Snow Rose was not glowing with her usual bright and peaceful aura. The lack of muscle on her bones didn't help her once beautiful appearance either. If anyone were to look upon her in the state she was in they may have assumed her to be some kind of zombie. But it wasn't her sickness that had her so down this time, it was the recent memory of watching Ebony walk away that played over and over in her mind, each time making her feel worse and worse about not having done anything to act on the way she felt towards him. But how could she act on those feelings when she didn't even know what they were? She was a Salutary, she was supposed to be emotionally in-tune with herself and her fellows, yet she had never quite felt this hollow pang that rattled through the very marrow of her bones every time she thought of him and everything that she could of said—and should of said.
But he was gone now, and there was nothing she could do about it. Whether he came back or not, she shouldn't have cared...but she did. Nobody had been on her mind like this since the day that she lost her first patient, but she had eventually learnt to detach herself from the experience of losing a life under her watch. Of course she had always cared about things like that, but she had always made sure that nothing of the sort had kept her down and distracted the way that Ebony was hunkering down in her head since the moment he had caught her interest. It was driving her mad, she had never thought that one lone male could throw her off balance so drastically, yet here she was.
It took Snow Rose almost a couple of minutes before she raised her head up past her shoulders again, determined to push past all these swelling thoughts that flooded her mind. It was then that she realised how empty the area was. For starters, Mochi was no where to be seen, which she decided was a good thing if he had gone after Macha like she had hoped he would. Dante, Parker and Fenrir's siblings weren't present either, meaning that they were probably still at the borders dealing with whatever situation had drawn them out there. Hopefully everything was okay and they were on their way home. But the newly established commons weren't completely empty, she realised as she inhaled the Alphess's distinctive scent of motherly milk. Caramel eyes drifted towards Fenrir, wondering if he would still want to be sticking by her side or if he was wanted to go off and do his own thing. Snow Rose wasn't particular about what her apprentice was doing in times like these, but if it was obvious that he was wanting to stay by her side, she would give him a soft brush of her tail against his shoulder, beckoning him silently towards Ventus's den.
Carefully, Snow Rose approached. Her cranium lowered once more as she peered into the den and was greeted by the squeaking of Dante's pups. From what she could see, Ventus and her newborn were curled up together and enjoying the blissful state of slumber that they shared, milk still beaded on the tiny white furs that surrounded the little one's maw. A soft smile cracked the corner's of her lips, the joy she felt at seeing the pups and her Alphess so peaceful distracting her from the thoughts that had brought her into such a gloomy mood. Ears twitched as she looked to the more lively forms of Milo, Maddox and Nascha. An idea immediately came to mind.
"Hush now kiddies." Snow Rose spoke with gently lilting tones, bright eyes sweeping over the forms of each familiar pup that she had helped to deliver into the world. "We wouldn't want to wake the others up, so how about we go and play out in the snow while we wait for your dad to get back?" She suggested, tilting her head and giving them the glowing smile that she was so well known for. Snow Rose backed up a bit, giving the little ones plenty of room to exit the den if they wished to join her in having a game before their father returned. It would be a good way to keep them from stirring the bundle of sleeping canines, while keeping her own mind away from the dangerous thoughts of Ebony.

Almost the entire way back, Snow's head was hung low and she stayed silent, her eyes clouded with thoughts. Fenrir didn't want to upset her any further, so he was quiet as well out of respect, taking the time instead to look at his surroundings, eyes scanning for anything memorable or any plants he could recognize to refresh his mind and make a better mental map of their own territory. Upon coming into the commons, his mentor's head rose above her shoulders once more. The area was largely empty, but the scent of his mother remained. The young male took a deep breath in uncertainty. He wasn't sure how he felt about the new pup, his new sibling. It wasn't that he hated her, no, he simply already felt disconnected from his parent in the first place, and a new sibling seemed to bring her away entirely. Nevertheless, he steeled his resolve and nodded at the white wolf next to him. She brushed her tail along his shoulder to beckon him forth, approaching the den stiffly. But when he looked inside and saw the tiny little puppies yipping at the sight of a new face, and his mother curled up snoozing softly, his heart melted. Who didn't love puppies? Monsters, that's who. Snow cooed softly to the three who were awake, suggesting they come out of the den and play while Ventus slept and Mochi was away. They, including him and Snow Rose, could use the distraction for sure. It was obvious something weighed heavily on her mind, and playing around, or at least watching the young ones play, would be good to take her mind off of whatever it was. As she stepped back, he did as well, offering a similar, but more awkward, smile, mimicking his mentor. Alphess Ventus Salutary Snow Rose Scout Milo Apprentice Maddox Warrior Nascha

Lubrusca’s river banks were a tad too quiet for his own personal comfort, with relatively few wolves to be found. Ebony and Prim had vanished, presumably to partake in the Ferus stranger’s suicide mission. Mochi and Macha, oddly enough were nowhere to be found either, although Mochi did have a certain fondness for training in private. The only wolves in sight were Snow and Fenrir, Snow gently cooing at the mouth of his den while Fenrir waited. Dante couldn’t help but crack a smile. Snow had always loved his pups, and now that she was well enough to play, he was certain they had alot of catching up to do. Yet he would have to interrupt them, at least for the time being, and summon Ventus from her presumable slumber. “Wait here,” he commanded, trotting forwards to greet Snow. “She’ll be out in a moment.” "’Ello Snow,” he quipped, offering their gentle salutary a soft hip bump in greeting. “And hello Nascha, Maddox, and Milo!” He teased, swiping whatever small faces remained in reach with his tongue. “Come on out you three — and wake up your sisters too — gently of course. They’ll be mad if they miss this. We’ve new wolves in Lubrusca, and they’d like to meet you very much. You too, Ventus,” He laughed, entering the den to lightly tap her awake. “Rise and shine. New wolves to meet and greet, and I think you more than anyone would like a look at them Ven. I’ll watch your little one if you’d like. They’re out there now, two she-wolves and one male, all full-grown adults. You’ll get along splendidly, I’m absolutely sure.”Tagged: Alphess Ventus Salutary Snow Rose @fenrir Delta Baron Sitka @lexavein Apprentice Maddox Scout Milo @basil Warrior Nascha Scout Cecilia Hunter Devika Sentinel Hydran Beta Lysic Hunting Superior Parker

The large black male had been the first to follow Dante into the packs territory, he felt out of place, like he did not belong here on their land, like he would be attacked for it, despite being invited in and escorted by General Dante himself, his rogue mindsets would take some time before he started thinking like a wolf who belonged to a pack, after all he had never belonged to anyone but himself for some time now, though the thoughts of where his sisters and father could be now, if they were alive, or if they had died a valiant death sometimes haunt him. Had they found their own packs that cherished his brown pelted siblings? Had his dark pelted father moved on and found another mate? Had anyone who shared his blood been victim of those cannibals Parker and Devika had been whispering about upon first finding him? Baron's ears pinned back at the thought, but he bowed his head when Dante told him to wait where he was, presumably for the rest to join them here so they could properly be greeted by the alphas and new pack members. Amber eyes looked around at the surroundings curiously, taking in all these new scents that invaded his senses, the darker thoughts that were dwelling in his mind dissipated as he focused more on his surroundings, feeling his fluffy pelt blow a little bit in the wind, ears perking back upward. Baron watched as Dante approached the Salutary, greeting her fondly by the name of Snow, a fitting name due to her pelt color, he thought. Then he greeted the puppies in his den and another named Ventus, requesting they come out and meet the new blood, the general seemed so...tender and charming toward his pack mates, it was a strange thing for the previous rogue to see, but alas he remained collected and patient, waiting for what was to come next.

She had kept herself at the tail end of the party that was heading towards what she presumed to be their common area. The snow did well to cover the fire that had laid its mark on the territory, only the tilted and fallen trees given any indication of there being a fire. Sitka herself would not have thought anything of it, and so didn’t know of the tragedies that lay on the pack. Her mind was racing as she thought about what kind of wolves the Alphas were. They were definitely soft-hearted folk, seemingly family oriented from what Dante had said. Her long legs made it hard for her to keep to the back of the ground, as her larger stature almost matched that of Dante’s. But she kept her pace slow, and allowed the pack members the respect of walking ahead of her. Mint eyes looked towards Baron and Lexavein, wondering what their take on the whole situation was. They appeared near a river, more than likely where they were making camp as there were various dens littered here and there across the territory. The General approached a she-wolf, giving her a kind greeting. Sitka watched with narrowed eyes, wondering if he already had a mate in the pack. Especially since he greeted some of the pups fondly. However, they didn’t look like the she-wolf he had greeted, which led her to believe that she wasn't the mother. Where was the mother to these pups? He entered a den, voices being heard from inside. She wondered if the Alphess was in there. Would that mean she had recently bore a litter of her own? The entire clearing smell of milk and pups, and she looked towards the little ones that were out in the clearing. They looked like Dante, or resembled him in a way. She watched with happiness as they were playing and scuffling, or doing something or another with their time. Her eyes would snap up to the Alphess once she appeared, but she already adored the pups in this pack. Delta Baron @lexavein @dante Apprentice Maddox Scout Milo Alphess Ventus

Cecilia hadn't been asleep but still would rather be cozy than be playing with her siblings. Staying smooshed she didn't budge until she heard her father's words. Coming out she stretched out, small tongue swiping her nose as she inched her way towards him. He mentioned new wolves and the happiness of her siblings was undeniable. She wanted to meet new people too, but she was nervous and little scared. "Dad, can we go an adventure?" she asked quietly as she stretched against his foreleg. Her little tag wagged sweetly as she tried to give him the best puppy dog eyes she could muster. @dante Alphess Ventus Warrior Nascha @basil Apprentice Maddox Scout Milo @everyoneelse

| Alphess Ventus of Lubrusca | She was content on her position. Being surrounded by pups and getting in a quick nap. With Keala being needier than her first litter, and Ventus worrying about her health far too much, the Alphess had hardly concentrated on getting sleep. She knew that her peaceful nap would be interrupted, as Dante appeared in the den once again, coming back from the borders. He woke her, telling her that there were newcomers to greet. She nodded her head, getting up and stretching. Keala was peacefully asleep, so she would leave it to Dante on whether or not he stayed in the den with the remaining pups. The small orange lupine made her way out of the den, looking towards the new wolves that were standing not too far away. It was weird, seeing new faces after so long of the familiar ones that milled about. Approaching, she held a dominant posture, looking over the three as she examined each one. Two females and a male. Her pack was in need of new blood, so she hoped that these wolves would be what they needed.
“I’m Ventus. The Alphess of this pack. My mate Mochi is currently handling some business but you will meet him in due time,” She started, looking over each one. “I’m sure my children and my General have already asked of your strengths, but I will be putting them to the test,” She said, looking over each one before settling her gaze on her eldest. “Lysic,” She spoke, bringing his attention towards her. “You will be assisting me in assessing their skills. As future Alpha of this pack, you will need to know how to judge them and to rank them accordingly,” She started, then looked towards the other three that were in the commons by now. “Parker, Hydran and Devika. You will also be watching and assessing these wolves as well,” She completed before looking towards the three. “We will head to the hunting grounds. I’m sure there is something to be caught there, and it will put your hunting skills to the test,” And with that, Ventus whisked away towards the hunting grounds, the others inevitably following.

Salutary Snow Rose
The girl who's always smiling
The Salutary's plans to play with the pups were squashed upon the arrival of the Lubruscan General. His return to the encampment wasn't made without the accompaniment of a handful of other pack members as well a few fresh faces. Snow Rose beamed at Dante's greeting, glad to see that he was still managing to keep himself in good spirits despite the death of his mate. She had always admired his strength, both physical and emotional. He could definitely be an example to her on the intricate ways of recovering from loss, though she was doing well so far. She was managing to keep the thoughts of the departed Beta from her mind with little struggle, finding that she was able to stay focused by distracting herself with the bemusement of his pups. Though now it seemed she would have to pause the suggested play time in favour of greeting the new pack members that had followed Dante into their lands.
Snow Rose glanced to Fenrir, content with the care of the pups being left to their father. "C'mon, let's go meet the newbies," she quipped with a small grin and a slight sway to her tail, a polar opposite image to the melancholic mood she had been displaying earlier, a mood that she would hopefully be able to keep at bay whilst in the midst of her pack-mates.
A graceful stride brought her to the three unfamiliar faces, a welcoming smile imprinted on her maw as she nodded to each of them. "Hello there! My name is Snow Rose, I am the proud Salutary of Lubrusca. If you ever feel sick or need patching up, I'm your gal!" She gave a playful wink, making sure that she came off as friendly and approachable so that they wouldn't be weary when asking her for help if they ever needed it.
It wasn't long before the Alphess made her appearance, approaching the gathering of newbies with her head held high. Snow Rose took a few steps back, giving Ventus centre stage as she greeted the newcomers and began organising the usual hunt that would determine where each of them would fall within the pack's rankings. What intrigued her the most was the fact that Fenrir was left out of this activity. Of course he wasn't being trained to lead the pack, and it was her responsibility to teach him everything he needed to know in order to fulfil the rank he was seeking, but Snow Rose couldn't help but wonder if it bothered him. From what she could tell, he wasn't spending as much time with his siblings as he used to, and it almost broke her heart to watch the rest of the litter grow up together, receiving the same training while he was stuck with her. Did he mind at all? Did he ever wish that he could join them? Was he content spending so much time away from them and with her instead? The small she-wolf furrowed her brow. Snow Rose knew her apprentice wasn't a massive fan of hunting, but she wasn't about to strand him here to help her look after the pups. She wanted to at least give him a choice.
"You can go with them if you want," she suggested with a nod to the retreating group, "I know it's not really your scene, but I'll just be helping Dante look after the pups, and it might be good for you to watch how hunts like this work, and be there to help if anything happens." Snow Rose refrained from mentioning getting to spend more time with his siblings, not wanting to make it seem like he was the odd one out from the family. But it was completely up to him, and she would be happy if he was stay in the Commons or follow the group back to the Hunting Grounds. It was his choice, and it was good for him to learn that he wasn't entirely bound to her side. If he was to follow the party off to the Hunting Grounds, she would give him a quick affectionate bump of her muzzle against his shoulder and a swiftly wished, "Good luck!" But if he were to stay in the Commons with her, she would give him an understanding and motherly smile.
As everyone departed from the Commons, Snow Rose's caramel glazed eyes shifted towards the figure of Dante before she walked back to stand by his side, assuming that he would be staying behind to look after the pups as Ventus had refrained from inviting him along to help assess the hunt. The Salutary grinned as she watched whatever antics his pups were up to. "They're growing up very nicely, Dante. You must be so proud," she commented, not at all hiding the fact that she was incredibly impressed with how well he was raising his pups. Though her gaze soon drifted into the den that they stood beside as she was eager to grab another glimpse of the white fluff ball that belonged to Ventus and Mochi. The little girl was still sleeping soundly despite the departure of her mother, a sign that she wasn't the type to be fussy. Snow Rose hadn't seen much of this lone pup ever since she had fallen sick shortly after her birth, so it was curiosity that overcame her as she realised that she barely knew anything other than her date of birth and gender, which wasn't exactly a good thing for a Salutary who was suppose to be tracking the little one's growth and development. "What is—do you know, uh, does she have a name yet?" Snow Rose asked Dante, nodding towards the sleeping bundle that snoozed quietly within the den. It was embarrassment that flushed her cheeks with a red heat. Maybe while Ventus was away it would give her a chance to check over the little one and make sure that she was healthy and strong.
She really did have a lot of catching up to do.

Maddox"Maybe our future's so bright it fucking burns like a Wildfire." Maddox was not content staying in the den for long, so he ventured out, rolling and tumbling as he followed Milo. Ventus had fallen asleep, so he decided that now would be the best time to leave the den. He could tell that most of his siblings were content in staying in there with her, and the ones that would follow he would playfully yip at. Looking towards the other members of the pack, he watched happily while tugging on Milo’s ear, perched on his shoulders as he did so. Milo would try to bat him away, but he would pursue the ear once more, giving little happy yips as he did so. He was finally bowled to the floor by his brother, but he refused to let up on his attack, and kept moving towards the other. That was, until their father returned with old faces and new ones. His tail could hardly hold still as it whipped back and forth, hitting anything in the vicinity. Looking towards the new members, he happily skipped over, dragging Milo along as well. The first female he approached was beautiful, and she had really cool colored eyes. Looking up at her with amazement, he was greeted by her and he made a cute circle, chasing his tail almost.
“My names Maddox! And this is Milo!” He greeted her. But it seemed their greeting would be cut short as Ventus came out of the den, greeting each of them before instructing that she would be taking them for a hunt. He was saddened that he would get to tackle some new tails, but the others seemed to know that this was going to happen. Circling around Ventus, he headed towards his father, Milo following behind him as they came up to the large male. Maddox wiggled his rear end, jumping forward and digging small little canines into his father’s leg. He wasn’t biting hard enough to cause any real pain, but it was enough to tell his father that he was there, and he wanted to play. After he would more than likely be shaken off, he trotted around his dad, a happy smile on his face. Everything was so happy right now! Or he was, at least.
Snow Rose approached, someone he hadn’t really seen much of since he was born. He remembered his father mentioning something about her, and how she had gotten sick after they were born, but that was about it. Seeing as he had not tackled her tail yet. Shimmying over to her rear end, he lunged for the long extension, missing of course. As he kept on attacking with no avail, his ears perked at the sound of her voice. It was super pretty! He stopped momentarily to listen to what she asked his father, piping in as soon as she had asked if Keala had a name. “Oh her name is Keala! But we called her Snowbelle because I think that names way cuter. But don’t tell Aunty Ventus!” He said, coming to sit his rump on the ground near Snow Rose’s paw. “Hi Miss, I don’t really know you but your voice is really pretty and your fur is pretty to!” He said, wagging his tail. She didn’t seem to be as thick as his father, and he wondered if she was eating. “Are you hungry? I’m sure there’s some left over squirrel. Unless Milo ate it all,” He offered, looking towards his brother and sticking out his tongue. “Oh wait, I think I ate it all,” He giggled a little bit, looking towards her with an innocent smile. “Maybe we could go find something together!” He said, looking rather happy at the prospect of getting to know her better.

Curious. Absolutely curious. She hobbled after the others, warily watching her snowfelt surroundings. Sitka was tailing the group, which was comforting to Lex. Sitka was a stranger to her in all respects, but the young wolf felt a weak kinship with her. The rouge seemed confident in her abilities and shared a skill Lexavein also had, with pups. Moreover, Lexavein felt it deep within the marrow of her bones that they were the same age, or close to it. The similarities between them ended there, but it was enough for the newly assigned omega to feel comfortable around the other female. Omega Baron, however... gave Lexavein mixed impressions. He seemed out of place to her. Baron didn't talk much. Nor did he really show that much of a response other than a subtle rotation of his ears or a slow mechanical movement of his head. She could sense he was powerful and vastly more mature than she was. At least to a fault. The dark male reminded her of an old foreboding companion who shared similar traits and proved her senses correct, but that wolf was long gone. Gone like the wind of late Summer. Upon reaching a cluster of scents and dens, Dante began introducing the rouges to their new pack members. They were alive with friendly activity and welcoming faces. Everyone seemed generally acceptive. At least for now. Lexavein wore a pleasant smile, her tail begging to wag with excitement and mirth. She forced it into a half tuck, just as a precaution to show she understood her place among them all. The she-wolf was a newcomer, a newcomer who still had to pull her own weight and prove herself to be useful. And a newcomer who generally didn't understand it was alright to stand normal.
Her gaze flitted upwards and over towards something that had until now evaded her attention. A few charred trees, trunks really, stood dead on one side of the river. It was grim reminder to her. Lexavein could scent the charnel and smog. Could taste the ash on her breath. Could feel the oily sweat on her brow. All memories of a fire she would have preferred to have forgotten. The same fire which had torn her past life to shreds. Had this pack experienced a forest fire like she had? One so destructive it shook the foundations of their very lives? Or was she jumping to conclusions? Some part of her felt solemn and thoughtful. And for good reason. The more she stared, the more she saw. A strange curve of the river bed that recorded a time of heat. Another cluster of dead trees on the forest floor singed black and grey. All clues of a disaster she would have never assumed struck this lovely pack if she had not experienced the hellish reality of a forest fire herself.
Lexavein shoved her ears back and adverted her gaze towards a wolf named Snow Rose, who in the process of ripping Lex away from her observatory thoughts, seemed to be introducing herself. "Hello there! My name is Snow Rose, I am the proud Salutary of Lubrusca. If you ever feel sick or need patching up, I'm your gal!" Snow Rose was a very nice looking she-wolf. Her feminine features were mostly white, neat, and complimentary. Very easy on the eyes. She gave a playful wink, perhaps making sure that she came off as friendly. The omega Lexavein immediately felt the urge to grin and respond with the same charismatic flair, for the salutary had an energy and a demeanor which seemed so in tune with her own. Unfortunately, due to thoughts lingering in the back of Lexavein's mind, the female only responded with a polite and uncharacteristically simple, "Hi miss." It was not that the omega was fearful of saying something wrong, but more so that she respected these wolves a tad more than before. To respond flamboyantly would be to dismiss the notion that they were like Lex herself. Snow Rose and these other wolves possibly experienced a forest fire. Lexavein felt that in light of her secret discovery, respect had to be displayed. Saving one wolf from a wordy response was the most she could do without drawing attention to her inner thoughts. Plus, she hadn't absorbed all clues of her surroundings. And yet still, her resumption of staring at the surrounding terrain was short lived. Alpha Ventus soon after introduced herself. Her appearance immediately caught Lexavein's undivided attention and her shakiness ceased.“I’m Ventus. The Alphess of this pack. My mate Mochi is currently handling some business but you will meet him in due time,” She looked the three new omega's over, assumably sizing them up, which made Lexavein shoved her ears forwards and twitch her nose in anticipation. “I’m sure my children and my General have already asked of your strengths, but I will be putting them to the test,” The alphess looked towards a wolf Lexavein understood to be Lysic. “Lysic, you will be assisting me in assessing their skills. As future Alpha of this pack, you will need to know how to judge them and to rank them accordingly. Parker, Hydran and Devika. You will also be watching and assessing these wolves as well,” She rested her gaze on the rouges again. “We will head to the hunting grounds. I’m sure there is something to be caught there, and it will put your hunting skills to the test,” Her new alphess padded off, leading the way to the presumed hunting grounds where the rouges would be tested. Lexavein followed, her ears once again folding backward as she shakily trotted. Despite the new challenge ahead, the girl felt more confident than before. Perhaps even less shakey. She had an alphess. And her name was Ventus. The fact made her feel complete and ready, for how could she doubt this wolf? Whatever would have to happen would happen. Whatever would be decided, would ultimately be decided. Lexavein felt assured by that, and even more assured now by the wolves she walked with. They were her pack members unless she made some egregious mistake during her hunting. And Lexavein would make none that were "egregious." Not on her own self-watch. . . . . H o p e f u l l y .

Amber orbs watched, high on anticipation as the other Rogues and hunters began to join he and Dante at the forest river, it was then a she-wolf with a bright pelt emerged, introducing herself as the Alphess Ventus, mentioning the Alpha Mochi and his current absence here. Baron turned his head to look at Lysic as Ventus addressed him as future alpha, realizing that male certainly had a lot of weight to carry around on his shoulders, a certain aura of importance perhaps. Blinking and bringing his attention back to the Alphess, Baron's ears perked up as he heard her explain how they would be judged for their ranks by the hunters and herself in the hunting grounds, being the biggest rogue out of this small group they'd accepted in, he wasn't worried about this test at all, it wouldn't be his first hunt, nor his last though he could not help but wonder where he might end up. Baron followed beside Lexavein who followed after Ventus, leading the way toward the hunting grounds presumably. The large dark male noticed how she would tremble, wondering if it was due to nerves or something underlying. He stayed beside her out of concern, worrying she may collapse or have a fit of some sort, he was in a pack now, it was time to be dependable. "Are you nervous?" the male asked curiously, walking with a comfortable distance between them, after all he did not know her all that well, but perhaps he would in time. -Exit to: Lubrusca General Hunting Territory-
