OMEGA LLUISE
OF
FERUS
Llu was a little frazzled and pissed to say the least. On top of having a limp alpha pup in her jaw, her coat was now stained red! How she must look, only consolation being she didn't need to impress anyone here. Seeing an absent salutary den she laid the pup at the entrance and began to lick at the wound. Her only knowledge of medicine skills.
Her white tail thumped furiously at Solex's absence. How inconvenient. Of course Aspen was missing too. Llu wouldn't be too surprised if in a couple months the ugly cow popped a few of her own. Ferus was becoming a puppy playground!
Salmon tongue stopped when she couldn't taste anymore fresh blood and went about to listen to the child. Tiny, tiny whines escaped her maw. A tiny piece of Llu's heart shrunk a little at the sounds.
How disgusting.
Trying to refrain from having a look of complete confusion and annoyance she turned to practically scream howl for assistance. She was sure that Jay and Semira hadn't heard her earlier howl between the fuss of their remaining pups and the noise cancellation of their den. But still, scent of blood should get them curious enough.
Once one of the Alpha pair exited the den, they would probably push her aside. Moving away she would give the protective parents space. “Found her, and her sisters, at the border battling a hawk. Azazel is supposed to guide the other two back home. Or at least that's what I yelled at him before leaving, told the pups to stay in the thorn bush,” she explained quickly. Hoping to avoid any attacks from her leaders.
Once the alpha pair had grouped around their fallen daughter Llu moved back. “I shall go grab Solex,” she spoke quickly, if not a bit sharply from the pressure of the situation and not directed at the parents.

Dis had been walking across the middle of the common grounds, when a certain white female dashed in. The omega, Lluise, looked crazed, not only in her emotion but in the garnet liquid that splattered across her fur, mixing her scent with the scent of blood, though not of her own. What caught Dis' attention most of all was the pup Lluise held in her jaws. Her heart began to race, something was not right. With an angry and confused face, Dis began to approach the Omega, who had set the pup down at the entrance to Solex's den, frantically licking in the absence of the salutary. Lluise howled, and Dis stopped a few yards away, awaiting some sort of explanation as the Alphas came out to investigate. "Found her, and her sisters, at the border battling a hawk. Azazel is supposed to guide the other two back home. Or at least that's what I yelled at him before leaving, told the pups to stay in the thorn bush," Lluise whipped out her words fast enough that Dis was surprised she didn't get tongue tied. "I shall go grab Solex," she said, obviously the pressure of the situation weighing down on her. A feeling of loyalty rose in Dis' chest. Not just loyalty to the pack, but to Jay who she had known for a long time, since she had joined Ferus, and to his pups who she often observed around the common grounds. She felt she needed to do something, to help or at least make sure everything was all right. Would Azazel be able enough to bring the other two pups back here? Not to mention, if the hawk came back, would Azazel be able to protect two pups at once, especially if they were separated? There was nothing urgent keeping her here. Her brow remained furrowed, and the silvery she-wolf set her red gaze first on the pup who lay at the ground and then on the Alpha pair and then on Lluise, and her mind quickly made itself up. "I'll go help," she says, dipping her head down a bit. Quickly, she runs off from the commons and towards the border, using Lluise's scent trail as a guide as to where the pups would be. Hopefully it wouldn't be too late. Alpha Jay Alphess Semira Salutary Solex @miyu Breeder Lluise

Jay, having fallen back asleep as the pups had to started to rouse, he didn’t hear them leave before he woke up. It looked like Natsu and Rizeal were the only two pups that were left in the den, while the others had ventured away into the outside world without supervision. Groaning, he was going to simply go out there and retrieve his pups, making sure they weren’t causing too much trouble. Aislynn was quite the troublemaker, and usually dragged Iylah into her shenanigans. Her attitude caused him to think that maybe she wouldn’t be the best leader when she was older, especially with her attitude and regard to her parent’s rules. Never leave the den without supervision. Whereas Rizeal and Natsu had stayed in the den, waiting patiently for them to wake up. It seemed that the others had caused quite the commotion. Semira lifted her head, blinking slowly to the sound of the yowl that rang through the clearing from one of their wolves. Jay gave her a small lick on the head, telling her to stay in the den as he dealt with whatever it was that they needed. She was already tired enough from dealing with the pups, he would handle the Alpha business by himself. Coming out of the den, he looked to see that Lluise had a limp Miyu with her laying on the ground near the medicine den. Solex was no where to be found, and his daughter’s condition didn’t look too good. Bringing himself quickly to the scene, he pushed Lluise aside, Bringing his nose down to Miyu, prodding her and feeling for a heartbeat. There thankfully was one, along with shallow breathing. He sighed in relief, but he felt himself overcome with the need to snap at something. How did this happen?! He listened to Lluise explain what happened as she had seen it, but Jay was furious. Why had they gone against the one rule that he had set in place? Growling, he looked towards Dis as she headed off to the borders to grab the other two. “I want them brought to me immediately,” He stated, looking towards her with an emerald gaze that told her to do so quickly. Bringing his body to wrap around Miyu to keep her warm from the snow, Lluise went running off to find Solex. The male was angry to say the least, knowing that his pups were being as reckless as they had been, but this was unforgivable, and it would result in possibly the worst punishment in the pups’ lives once they returned.

Natsu waited patiently for Rizeal to wake up, but the eldest simply rolled over and away from him. She was more concerned with sleeping than actually being the leader of their litter at the moment. Sighing, he plopped down next to her, vaguely hearing what the other pups had said. They had vanished from the den by now, and the male was content with just lying down next to his sister and sleeping once more. For a bit at least, he felt himself ebbing back to sleep, but the loud howl that came from the commons jolted the young one awake once more. He watched as his father got up, telling their mother that she needn’t participate in Alpha matters. She need to stay in the den and rest, especially with having so many mouths to feed. Natsu had been a rather good listener from the time he was able to comprehend words, so he knew that he wasn’t supposed to leave the den, but with his father going out into the common grounds, surely it would be okay for him to do that as well. Bringing himself onto tiny black paws, he padded out of the den, seeing that his father was over by Uncle Solex’s den. Trotting over, the mismatched blue and white looked over the scene, mouth hanging slightly open as panic set in at the sight. Miyu was hurt, and it seemed that she was barely breathing. Bringing his little black body to stand next to his father, he was shaking. Eyes shifted over the slightly moving chest that was the only indication of life in the small being. If he had simply stopped Aislynn from going out of the den, Miyu and Iylah would have not gone as well, and his little sister wouldn’t be lying unconscious in the common grounds while his father fussed over her and Lluise was off looking for Solex. Natsu looked to his dad, tears in his eyes. “Is she dead?” Alpha Jay @miyu @aislynn @rizeal Alphess Semira Breeder Lluise @ezikeal @tikaani Scout Iylah

As the snow fell, Tikaani was blissfully unaware of the horrors that were about to enter the commons. Even without her older brother joining her and Ezikeal outside, she still began to play her game. With small bunny hops, Tikaani snapped her jaws at the falling snowflakes, feeling a few of the unlucky crystals nip her tongue with the cold. The little game she was playing was just so fun, she wouldn't mind if she spent the rest of the day playing it with her brother. However, nothing seemed to ever go the little angel's way. Into the commons rushed Lluise, a tiny frame hanging from her jowls. At first, Ti just thought it was a plump vole. However, with the omega's rush to the medicine den, Ti was alerted to the fact that maybe something was a little more wrong. With Azazel and Dis' herding of the rest of her sisters back to the commons, the naive girl's mind finally put two and two together. Almost instantly the smile fell off her face as she darted towards the Salutary's den. Aislynn and Iylah were still walking, leaving the only head unaccounted for. The only other pup that really understood her, the most tolerated by Solex, little Miyu. Bustling up next to Natsu, the concerned she-pup almost didn't want to look at her little sister. She wasn't moving, blood seeped into the snow around her despite Lluise's licking, and truly, she looked like she wasn't going to wake up. "Is she dead?" the voice of her brother made her breath catch in her throat. She had thought that Miyu was injured, never really letting that thought permeate her mind until just then. "No, no, no, she can't be. No, she can't be," Tikaani whimpered, tears glassing over her eyes. Her desperate gaze flicked between her father and her sister, almost expecting that the Alpha would be able to do something while Uncle Sol wasn't in the commons. She wanted to help her baby sister, but there was no way for her to without potentially injuring her more. Stuck with her own personal struggle, the young wolf was left emotionally frazzled with her sister seemingly dying right in front of her. Ezikeal enjoyed his play-time with his sister. The sheer joy he could squeeze out of such a simple and stupid thing like chasing snowflakes was ridiculous. But, he could. Jaw open like a whale shark, collecting all the little crystals of snow. While he had been uncertain at first, he was now one hundred percent sure that snow was a good thing. It was fun, and didn’t make a mess (it melted!). The lanky-legged pup was happy, that was all that really mattered.
For a moment, Ezikeal didn’t even notice what was wrong. He’d been chasing his tail—a snowflake had landed it on, and he needed to show the snowflake who was boss—and when he turned back Tikaani had disappeared. At first, he only ran over because his sister had. He was the sort of pup to follow, not lead. He was also the sort of pup to fall over his own feet so there was that fact, too. He was an odd pup.
Red snow will always be one of the more startling sights. Ezikeal’s eyes travelled over the blood-stained snow and up to the wounds. Wounds? Wounds of what? His sister. Then it all hit. That was his sister. His sister laying there, in the puddle of blood. The cause of the blood. His mind, which was slow on a good day, worked slower than ever as it failed to perceive something that was so far outside what his immature mind could comprehend. See, Ezikeal had never really been hurt. Physically or mentally. Sure, he was a little bit dumb but he’d always been happy. This hurt. It really hurt and Ezikeal didn’t know how to respond. He backed up slightly, towards the snow, his eyes still fixated to the body. He couldn’t see her breathing, but he didn’t know to check. All he could see was the red. It was such a startling colour against the chalk white snow.
The words passed between wolves were hardly registered. His tail was firmly tucked between his legs, ears pushed back limply. For the first time in his short life, he felt utterly helpless.

She was going to die. It wasn’t an exaggeration. She and Iylah had just set foot back in the Commons, and already a crowd had gathered. Just one look at her father’s face and she knew he’d been planning a brutal execution since the second he saw Miyu. Not as though she didn’t deserve any of it. For once in her life, Aislynn knew she was completely, entirely wrong, and that she may have dealt irreversible damage. She would bare every ounce of fatherly wrath without a whimper. As Azazel led them into the clearing, she followed as closely as possible, so close she felt the strike of his onyx tail. He’d more than a word to share with her parents about the way she and her sisters had wrecked his morning outing. Azazel was angry alright; a grating, low growl perpetually building in his throat throughout the entire walk, but this — she’d never seen her father look at her with this level of anger. Come to think of it, it almost bordered on hatred. She swallowed hard, clearing her throat. No matter what terrible things he had to say or blows he aimed to deliver, she’d take them all. She’d earned them in full. A soft wail shook her from her pained reverie. She jumped in her skin, the sound chilling her down to the very bone, but not due to its tones. It was the owner that scared her, and made her believe more than ever that Miyu would die. Tikaani’s frightened tears were typical, but Natsu’s were new. Natsu had never, ever once cried in front of their dad. His forever steady, firm voice trembled like a leaf as he quivered, appalled at the sight of Miyu’s flayed, limp form. Aislynn blinked back her own tears hastily. Even Ezikial seemed devastated, his dope-eyed face gaunt with grief. As much as she fought with them, and thought badly of them, and cursed them all in her deepest, hidden most mind, she’d never wanted to bring her siblings pain. Upon nearing Father, she jolted upright with a dawning realization — Iylah. Father would blame her just as much as he did her, and she hadn’t even done anything! She had to interfere, for her sister’s sake, so that she could least spare her some pain. Cautiously, she came forwards to Father’s paws, sitting down just as his feet. She took care to meet his gaze, hanging her head low as her voice rang with regret. “It’s my fault. Only mine.” Tagged: Alpha Jay General Azazel @ezikeal Scout Iylah @miyu Hunter Natsu

Tears still ran through her face, as they walked into the commons. None had said a word during the walk, no need to. Iylah had kept her head down and her mouth shut, the pup not daring to even look at her sister or at Azazel. After what seemed ages, they had finally gotten there, and everyone noticed. Both pups and adults had gathered in the center of the common grounds, Tikaani, Ezikeal, Natsu. She could feel her siblings sorrow, their confusion, their anger, all those feelings weighing down on her back, but worst of all? His father's gaze. With those terrifying, cold eyes, looking at her, blaming her for what had gone through. Nobody had said anything yet, but Iylah felt an extreme urge to cry. It was all wrong, this was supposed to be fun! An adventure with her tree sisters, the tres compadres, exploring the outskirts and what they had to offer! Now Miyu was probably dead, and everyone she loved hated her, both her and...and Aislynn. If she just hadn't come along, none of this would have happened! It was Aislynn's fault, not hers! She got her head up to see her, anger on burning her eyes, but, she just wasn't on the same spot any more. Aislynn, the brute, the closest thing to an asshole that Iylah had met on her short life, was in front of her, facing their father, defending her. “It’s my fault. Only mine.” In awe, speechless, Iylah felt extreme guilt, not only because of Miyu's incident, but because of her previous thoughts. Biting her own lip, with her cheeks still wet, the pup stepped forward, ready to face the consequences of her actions. "No. The blame is shared".

Jay was staring at the almost lifeless body that lay before him. Natsu approached, coming to his side as he seemed to visibly be upset. Tears fell from the young males eyes for the first time since he had been born. Natsu had been the mediator for his litter, and refused to show much emotion. It seemed that although he was able to control himself most of the time, he was unable to control his emotions when it came to his sibling being quite injured. He would definitely need to work on that with Natsu, especially if he were to become a leader of Ferus in the future. But right now, Jay had more things to worry about than Natsu’s current behavior. All of his pups that had stayed in the commons had come to join him around their injured sibling, counting heads, he noticed that the other two that were still at the borders had not come back yet. Dis had dashed off, heading that way to help Azazel bring back the pups, or at least, that’s what the omega had said. Solex was nowhere to be found near the commons it seemed, but the black male was probably off doing something or another. If he heard the shrill cries of Lluise, he would probably ignore them. Not many would answer to a call of her nature with much urgency, especially since she was an Omega. She had gone searching for him, heading in the way of the Mountain Creek. He expected them to return shortly, and the male could do was hold his breath until something happened. And something did happen. His two daughters that had accompanied Miyu to the borders were brought over by a rather angry Azazel. He knew that the male was often off doing his own thing, and didn’t want to be bothered by doing so. Jay couldn’t complain, his General did a good job of scaring unwanted figures from their borders. His border marking and patrol was probably put to an end after the mishappening that occurred. He felt as if he had failed watching the pups, but between running a pack and raising a litter, he was extremely tired. Semira did the best she could to help, but his mate could only be so much help. Looking to Aislynn and Iylah, his eyes could burn holes through them if that were possible. Aislynn had so far been the troublemaker of the litter, dragging whichever sibling she could into her shenanigans. Jay was rather disappointed that his second born had turned out this way, especially since his fifth born seemed to be much more attentive, and more leader-like that she was. Bringing himself to his paws, he looked down at the pups, green orbs digging into their pelts as they stood in front of him. Listening to his two pups, Aislynn stepped forward and said that it was her fault, and only hers. That, he had expected. Jay opened his mouth, ready to tear his daughter apart, but was taken aback by Iylah’s statement. She was standing up, saying that she had also taken part. He could admire their honesty, and how they were trying to protect each other, but that wouldn’t protect them from the angry father that loomed over them. “Have you any idea the amount of trouble you’ve gotten yourself into?” He spoke, voice raised as he looked at his daughters. “You disobeyed your mother and myself by ignoring our rules of not leaving without one of us,” He took a deep breath, not trying to be too harsh on his daughters, but the male was furious. “And, you took it upon yourself to go out to the borders, which is the most dangerous part of Ferus territory at this very moment! Do you have any idea what could have happened? What did happen is bad enough,” He stated, looking at the almost still body of Miyu. “You could have gotten yourselves killed!” He spoke, looking towards them with panic now apparent in his eyes. He cared most about his litter, especially since there were so many, and so little food. “Your punishment is going to be spending time with your uncle caring for Miyu,” He said, knowing they wouldn’t appreciate being stuck in the male’s herb den. Jay turned, looking towards the Salutary that would appear soon. Hopefully, Miyu’s injuries were treatable and wouldn’t render her useless for the rest of her life.

Warmth crept around Rizeal as her mind melted into a deep slumber, each limb becoming numb as darkness cascaded over the young pup. Fuck, how long has it been since genuine, undisturbed sleep was granted to the first born. Even as the loss of her siblings surrounding her faded, the bitch merely rolled into a tighter ball, pressed against the side of the den - furthest away from where her siblings resided around their mother. It was a dreamless sleep, an inky black ocean relentlessly pressing on the younglings mind. Sadly, though, good things never last, do they? Rizeal was awoken by the smell of blood. Stirring relatively quickly, she strode out from the den, looking just as angry as she typically did. Tip toeing through the accumulated wolves, the Alpha’s daughter peered through the legs of her parents, leaning over - was it really? - her little sister. Rizeal barked with a singular hoarse laugh, were they truly so foolish? Why, they were all so stupid and weak. The only one that could’ve truly taken down a hawk was her, of course. Trotting up to Aislynn - once her father was done chewing her out, of course - the bitch eyed her with a malicious grin. “Did you really think you could take down a hawk?” Another hoarse laugh. “Really? Are you an idiot? This is why you’ll never be Alpha, or any rank close.”

| Solex was indeed angry. He couldn’t spend time with his mate because Semira’s pups were left alone, simply because her mate couldn’t keep track of them properly. Bringing himself into the commons, he could already see where his new patient was. There was blood surrounding her. Now, this particular pup was one that he seemingly couldn’t become too angry with, Miyu. The little she-pup was currently lying in a puddle of blood, her siblings gathering around her as well. The father, Jay, was standing, angrily talking with Aislynn, who was probably the culprit for them venturing away from home and bringing back an injured pup. He approached silently, pushing past the other little pups to look at Miyu. Examining her, he noticed that where the blood had been seeping out had been sealed by dry blood. He would probably throw some cobwebs on there, or something of the sort. He would have to see what was currently in his den. He was not exactly prepared for things like this. He should be, but he wasn’t. Winter had taken most of his spots for resources and completely wiped them out. Now, he had to treat her with a minimal amount of herbs, and with what Jay had punished his pups with, he would also have extra paws scuttling about his den. Giving a small growl underneath his breath at the thought of Aislynn and Iylah also being in his den, he couldn’t help but want to tell the male that he wasn’t at all pleased with this, but there was no point in going against Jay’s word. The male was absolute on his decision, and there was nothing that could change it in that very moment. Sniffing at Miyu, he picked her up gently, saying absolutely nothing to the wolves around them as he moved her into his den. Whether or not the two pups now assigned to him would follow would be their father’s decision if their punishment started immediately or not. He wanted to just be able to spend alone time with Aspen, but maybe the she-wolf would follow him into his den as he took care of his dying niece. After he got there, he set Miyu down on the bed he had made for himself, seeing as she wouldn’t bleed onto the material as her wound had closed. Looking through his herb collection, Solex found himself grabbing some marigold and comfrey. The two he chewed up, the taste not necessarily affecting him too much. He licked the top of Miyu’s head gently, applying it to the wound that was clearly there. There were a couple small claw marks along her sides, so he applied the poultice to those wounds as well. They stop itching and ward off any infection that would come to the wounds. He would need to regularly treat them, but she would be staying in the den with him until he knew that she was alright. Moving to put some cobwebs on the wound, he put them on, seeing that they started soaking up the dry blood he had unclumped from her fur. Coming to lie down a little bit aways from her, Solex would leave room for Aspen to come lay with him, especially after they had been interrupted. -Time Skip: Next Day- Solex woke up, more than likely with Aspen at his side. He had taken all night, constantly getting up and checking on Miyu as much as possible, changing out the cobwebs on her head ever so often. The wounds on her stomach were not as important as the head injury she had, and thus he paid more attention to the top of her head. There was something that was wrong with the wound, it went deeper than Solex could imagine, and he felt as if it would result in a more horrific injury than just her head being split open for a bit. Yawning, he would nuzzle Aspen if she were there, his tongue darting out to lick her cheek as to wake her up. | |

Miyu comes into wakefulness slowly, a groan spilling from her maw. She hurt. Not as much as when...the sky beast... She jerks with an urgency that is tangible, oversized paws scrambling against the bedding as she tries to right herself. The last thing she remembered was Aislynn and Iylah jumping at the bird, then everything was black. What if it had turned to them rather than her? The thought sends a cold sliver of dread through her chest, and she wants to be sick. However, her struggles to stand are cut short as an unbelievable spike of pain roots itself in her head, hot knives driving through her skull over and over again. The midnight babe quickly stills, a feeble whimper sliding through clenched teeth. The pain thankfully serves some purpose though: it slices through the irrational panic like a fish through water, and she finally takes time to survey her surroundings. She was in... Uncle Solex’s den? That makes sense, she had been hurt after all. And her sisters weren’t in here with her, which meant they were okay. Or...something much worse, that she refuses to consider. The babe turns her head as she spots movement out of the corner of her right eye. There was Solex himself! She can feel herself begin to blush; he would think she was so silly for her little outburst just then. And - she turns her head even further, already annoyed with whatever wrap was over her left eye - ah. Aspen was with him. They were cuddling? That was nice; she wished she had a sibling or three to cuddle just then. ”Uncle Sol...” she rasps, before coughing a bit to clear her throat, Are Iylah and Aislynn alright?” She absently raises a paw to try and rub her eye cover away. However, her blunt little claws hook no herbs. In fact, all she can feel nothing but her own face. ”Uncle, what did you put over my eye? I can’t get it off.” Her voice shakes a bit as horror starts to seep through. Salutary Solex Hunter Aspen

It was safe to say she was pissed. Lluise has marched her entitled omega ass into the creek and screamed her bloody head off, then didn't even follow them back. Aspen could hear her pawsteps fading into the distance. A brat and a deserter. Thank god she left. Good riddance. She had trotted to catch up to Solex, so the pair entered the commons side by side. Aspen's pace slowed as Solex rushed to his niece, leaving the inky male some space to care for the injured child. While surely she didn't like interacting with any of the pups, she knew that Solex would reluctantly ensure that nothing too drastic happened to Semira's children. While Solex disappeared into his den with the bleeding pup, Aspen's single mint eye fell on the rest of the litter gathered around their sister. She wasn't going to head into the male's den just yet. Might as well let him have some space to move around and care for Miyu. “Did you really think you could take down a hawk? Really? Are you an idiot? This is why you’ll never be Alpha, or any rank close,” the voice of the eldest pup spat towards the bitchy one. Narrowing her eye, the hunter couldn't recall seeing Rizeal out of the den when the rest of the pups were. She knew she had to tread lightly with a pissed off Alpha standing nearby already fuming at his daughters. But still being a spitfire, she couldn't help but voice her mind. "I don't recall you even being awake on time, Rizeal. Alpha's can't be lazy you know," her gaze darted to Jay, offering him a small dip of her head as she ducked into Solex's lair. Silently, she watched as he searched through dwindling piles of dried leaves for something to heal the tiny pup. After he smeared the poultice onto her wounds, his giant frame curled onto the moss he had gathered before, a large gap at his side beckoning to her. Curling into his thick fur, Aspen watched Miyu's unmoving frame. At least she was breathing. Time Skip: Next DayA slobbery tongue against her cheek roused her from her sleep. She had stayed with her mate in his den all of yesterday until they had fallen asleep. Miyu had remained unconscious the whole day, little whimpers escaping her ever so often. Niece-in-law, was that what she was now? Was the whole hoard of brats practically her nieces and nephews? Ew. "Gross," the pale she-wolf cheekily hissed at her mate, returning the favour of a slobber trail along his face. Just then, it seemed that Miyu had begun to wake up. The pup jumped to her paws, so at least all of those wre in working order. Almost instinctively, Aspen extended her tail towards the tiny black pup to help balance her, but that didn't seem to be necessary as she flopped back down quickly with a low groan. "Uncle Sol... are Iylah and Aislynn alright?" it was almost sickening how sweet Miyu was towards her siblings, despite them having led her into the talons of a hawk. The hunter just remained silent for the question, letting the ornery male she was curled up against answer. It was when Miyu piped up again that her curiosity spiked, "Uncle, what did you put over my eye? I can't get it off." The monoptical she-wolf stood, giving her mate a morning nuzzle while she travelled around to the left side of Miyu. There wasn't a covering over her eye. Could some of the poultice have glued her eye shut? Nope, there it was, open and searching Solex's face for answers. Moving behind Miyu, Aspen silently extended a paw up past Miyu's face. It was something Solex had done to torment her when she had just lost her own eye, the prick, but this time Aspen wasn't doing it maliciously. Nothing, Miyu was still looking as Solex, not seeing her paw waving inches from the left side of her face. A weird emotion surged through Aspen, one that she wasn't used to in the slightest. To any other wolf, they would have received a blunt, 'welcome to the club,' but Miyu was different. Her voice was shaking in a way that pulled Aspen's heartstrings. Not in the same way that Solex had practically ripped her heart apart yesterday, but a softer version of that. Raising her eye to her mate, she mouthed the word 'blind' to him, her paw still gesturing to Miyu's left side. With the tiniest of nods, she rocked into action. "Miyu," she began, her voice softer than it had been all her life as she moved around the pup. The she-wolf wanted to lay down on Miyu's left side, but what good would that do if the huntress couldn't see from her left side either? She settled for sitting and lightly placing her tail around the obviously upset pup, careful to avoid the poultices her mate had layered on. "There's nothing covering your eye, sweetheart. But before you freak out too much, at least you still got both eyes. I'm stuck winking at everyone," her tone remained soft, one mint eye remaining on Miyu to see how she would take the news. Her gaze flicked to Solex as well, wondering just how they were going to handle this. Aspen already decided that she was going to help Miyu adjust. It was hard enough for her, and for some reason, Miyu had wormed her way into the bitter she-wolf's heart. Alpha Jay @rizeal Salutary Solex @miyu

Father was furious, as she expected. Fury radiated from his features, so tangible and true she could almost taste it. Sorrel ears subconsciously flattened as she braced herself for the ensuing onslaught, thankful that at the very least, she had save Iylah from having to face father’s supreme wrath. At least Aislynn would have been able to save her, had the uncanny idiot not decided to open her trap and insist on her guilt. If Father hadn’t been right there watching, she would have slapped her for her foolishness. Foolishness or not however, he accepted her claim with few doubts. Now, they’d receive an equal distribution of his anger, which perhaps was a good thing. “Have you any idea the amount of trouble you’ve gotten yourself into?” Aislynn swallowed hard, shivering slightly. Vaguely? She was about to see whether or not the rumors were true and if Ferus did execute wolves that disobeyed. So far, the answer seemed to be leaning towards a resounding yes. “You disobeyed your mother,” Father growled. “And myself by ignoring our rules of not leaving without one of us.” A retort cruelly reared on the tip of her tongue, leaving her to sink her small teeth into it in an act of self-preservation. She could be a bit of ditz at times to be fair, but she doubted he wanted to hear of all the other times she had snuck off and survived. She quietly shook her head, attempting to rid herself of the urge to retort and snap back. On and on he rambled about what could have happened, about how they could have died, how they could have been hurt — but they hadn’t been! Only Miyu — so why, why, why couldn’t he just get to the freakin’ point? “Your punishment,” He began, his eyes veering disapprovingly. There it was. The point she’d been waiting for, when she’d be sent to slaughter. “Is going to be spending time with your uncle caring for Miyu,” he concluded, straightening his stance. She looked up at him, cocking her small head in confusion. That wasn’t quite slaughter. Uncle Solex was certainly no pleasure to be around, but still, he was better than death. Was father — perhaps — relieved? Stunned, she dipped her dappled head in acknowledgement, as he’d taught her and her siblings too, mustering a final, “Sorry Papa,” as she crept off to the den where Uncle Solex had stashed her sister, “Did you really think you could take down a hawk? Really?” Aislynn’s fur arched instinctively at the voice’s pitch. “Are you an idiot? This is why you’ll never be Alpha or any rank close.” A snarl instantly rippled through her throat. Rizeal. If there was ever a sibling she could never bring herself to feel sorry for, it was loud-mouthed, rat-faced, foul-fighting Rizeal. A deep anger rippled through her, stronger than the annoyances Riz brought wherever she went. Aside from the fear the monster had brought, this was the strongest emotion she’d ever felt: pure, unbridled hatred. “Listen here you—“ She spat, her voice quaking with rage when Cyclops intervened, shutting her down effectively. She halted; surprised that she’d intervened at all and on her behalf. Perhaps she wasn’t as vicious as she’d imagined. Still, even though she’d intervened, she’d business to attend too. “This isn’t over,” she cautioned. Warily, she waited on the outskirt of Sol’s den for him to finish whatever business he was attending to with Miyu. Once she was certain that he and the Cyclops were finished and sleeping (Why was the Cyclops there to begin with? Were they— business partners —like Mom and Dad were? She recoiled at the thought, but this wasn’t about that. She was here for one thing, and one thing only. “Get well soon Miyu,” she whispered, curling by her sleeping sister. She hated cuddles, and would always hate them, but they were just the kind of thing that’d make Miyu feel a little, tiny bit better for tomorrow morning. Time Skip To: Next MorningAfter a few hours of cuddling, the small pup simply couldn’t bear it any longer and had separated herself effectively. She had crammed herself into a narrow corner just behind a pile of Solex’s herbs so she could be safely out of sight, especially if he woke up in a foul mood. As the den began stirring, with Solex, Aspen, and Miyu all rising awake, she quietly shifted, her ears for once perking with delight at the sound of her sister’s voice. Miyu was okay! Or — she furrowed her brows — why did Miyu sound so upset? Aspen said it herself: nothing was covering her eye, nothing was wrong, so why couldn’t she see? Breathlessly, she waited where she lay for Uncle Sol’s opinions, knowing that if any wolf could fix the problem, it was him. Alpha Jay Hunter Aspen Salutary Solex @miyu

Natsu looked towards Aislynn and Iylah as they entered into the commons, Azazel having followed behind them rather quickly, the hawk in his jaws. Natsu rubbed the tears from his eyes, a small bit of anger radiating from him as he looked towards the second oldest of their litter. She had to just go out and be the reckless one again. And this time she had gotten Miyu hurt. Aislynn had never really listened to their parents since they had decided from their early ages that Aislynn already wasn’t fit to rule a pack. Natsu had proven himself a bit more than she had, and thus they chose him instead of her. He could see why she was jealous, she was the second born and hadn’t been chosen to have training directly from their parents in order to become the next model leader that Ferus needed. But that didn’t mean she could risk the lives of her siblings for reckless endeavors such as these. Natsu bristled a bit as Aislynn seemed to actually care for once. She didn’t have the right! But he calmed as his father took control of the situation, punishing the two properly for their actions. His uncle appeared right then as well, taking Miyu rather quickly to his den. Natsu wanted to follow, but Iylah and Aislynn had already been assigned to their Uncle as the punishment for their disobedience. It wasn’t death, but depending on Solex’s mood, it could be worse than death. Natsu said nothing to either sibling that had come back from the borders, staying silent during the whole ordeal, but it seemed that Rizeal didn’t mind speaking up. As soon as she did however, the white female named Aspen, who oddly smelled like Solex a little, spoke up against his sibling, lecturing her for her late appearance. He didn’t necessarily see anything wrong with it. At least Rizeal didn’t get one of their siblings injured! But Aspen did have a point that a leader didn’t necessarily sleep in when there was learning to be done. Looking towards his father, Natsu decided that it would be best to keep away, seeing as the male was angry enough with his siblings. -Time Skip: Next Day- Natsu was curled next to Rizeal and Ezikeal, black body pressed up against his mother. Opening his eyes, the mismatched pair of cobalt blue and white shifted over the entrance. He knew that his parents had told them not to leave the den, especially after the stunt pulled yesterday, without permission. Wiggling over to his father’s ear, he whispered, telling him that he was simply going to visit Miyu. After a grunt from the sleeping male which would confirm that he was allowed to go, Natsu would slip from the den, heading towards Solex’s den immediately. Approaching the mouth, he decided that he would sit outside and listen. He heard Miyu’s voice, which was wonderful, but she was frightened. Something was wrong. The male paced back and forth, wondering if he should go inside. Thinking that it wouldn’t be a terrible idea, he brought himself into the entrance, looking towards the little she-wolf that had Aspen waving a paw by her eye. Miyu didn’t react at all, which concerned him. “Uncle Sol, what’s wrong with her?” He whispered, looking towards Miyu with concern.
