Scenery The Three-Legged She-Wolf
"Good morning Scenery, good morning Apollo" Scenery's head jerked up as Fire's voice pulled her from her thoughts. The tripod face almost immediately brightened with a soft smile as she watched the other she-wolf's eyes glance to the mouse by Scen's paws. "Wounds are always worse the next day, unfortunately, we have a lot to do today. You can either find fresh water or help dig out this den. We need all the help we can get." Scenery's green-gold eyes fell upon Apollo as he too emerged from the den. "Good morning Fire, Apollo." She greeted both of them. With a gentle nudge from her nose, the tripod pushed the mouse toward the she-wolf with a smile. "Here, I caught this for you. If you feel like eating of course." She glanced apologetically to Apollo when she didn't have anything to give him. "I would have caught one for you but, I could only catch one and it's my duty to take care of my patient." Scenery was about to say that she would go look for fresh water when she remembered something. With a quick spin, she gently made her way back down in to the den, her eyes searching for the poppy seeds from the night before. She found them quickly, noticing that she had cradled that in a place that the small herbs would be less noticeable and made a mental note that she would set aside time today to find more herbs.
The tripod hobbled from the den with the small seeds held as gently as she could in her jaws. She placed them on the ground in front of Fire's paws and looked up at her to speak. "You should take these. They'll help with the pain." Hoping that Fire would accept them, Scen turned away to face Apollo. "I can do either although I would prefer to find fresh water." "Everything falls, leaves, snow. Then why do we grow up thinking that it's always bad?"

Iris glanced at Kirito, and then looked away from him awkwardly. Her tail was down and out, slightly. "Hello..." She murmured quietly to him. She observed that she was of no threat to her, hopefully. She studied his stance and other criteria that would help determine if he was harmful or not. All proved the latter, which eased her conscious a bit.
She picked her head up as Miyako spotted a butterfly, or some sort of insect that she caught interest in. She scampered off to follow it. Farra and Archer told both Iris and Kirito that they'd be going their separate ways. The small white female frowned as she watched her friends walk off.
She turned back to Kirito, unsure what he would do. "Are you leaving too..?" She asked, a bit of worry in her voice. She almost...didn't want him to leave. The female feared loneliness more than Kirito himself, at this point.
OOC: I had to exit @miyako @archer , and @farraclaw , as they were inactive. If any three see this, your welcome to rejoin when you'd like. @kirito

@flamingice The She Rogue .:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ :.
Flaming Ice looked towards Apollo as he spoke up, "Wounds are always worse the next day, unfortunately, we have a lot to do today." He said before she saw him glance around. "You can either find fresh water or help dig out this den. We need all the help we can get." Apollo spoke once more with a hint of a sigh at the end before Scenery spoke up.
Fire looked towards Scenery as she said her greeting before pushing a mouse towards her, "Here, I caught this for you. If you feel like eating of course." Fire was surprised at first but smiled gratefully, "Thank you Scenery, but are sure it should be for me? I mean what if you or apollo are hungry too?" Fire said softly with slight worry as she glanced at them. Fire then looked towards Scenery as she hobbled over to get some seeds, by what fire could see. She then proceeded to place them on the ground in front of Fire's paws and Scenery looked up at her to speak. Fire stared as they made eye contact for a moment as she explained, "You should take these. They'll help with the pain." Scenery spoke and Fire smiled. "Thank you Scenery, i'll take them right away." Fire spoke with enthusiasm as she ate them quickly. She wanted the pain to be gone as soon as possible. After finishing the seeds Fire glanced up at Scenery's voice, "I can do either although I would prefer to find fresh water." Fire opened her mouth to speak, "I agree with Scenery, perhaps it is best if we go searching for fresh water" she spoke softly as she switched her view from scenery to apollo waiting for a response.

As Flame woke up Scenery hobbled in, "Here, I caught this for you. If you feel like eating of course." she said offering her the mouse that she caught. "Thank you Scenery, but are sure it should be for me? I mean what if you or Apollo are hungry too?" She asked them. "No, I think it'd be in our best interest if you ate. You're wounded and need your energy, we'll catch something on the way so don't worry." Apollo began to walk out of the brush. "Let's go then," He said traveling out. The tides had seemed to have calmed since te previous night, but the waves still crashed against the rocks like thunder raining down from the sky. He took a deep breath inhaling the mist from the ocean. The sand parted as he set foot on it, it squished beneath his toes and got under his claws. He lifted his left front paw and shook the sand off of it. He wondered if the other two wolves would be slow. Leaving them alone wasn't an option, Flame was too hurt to fight and Scenery wouldn't be able to defend her. "Which way should we go? We'll need to find a river..." He said trailing off into thought. He turned his head to the two females to hear their opinions.

Hemlock had walked a couple of miles before his paws hit a sort of dry substance. It reminded him of dirt but dry, it was an odd tan color. He had never seen anything like it in his whole life. He lifted his right forepaw up and examined it. Some of it became stuck between his toes and under his claws. He shook it away off of his paws and continued to walk, it felt soft underneath his paws. Hemlock seemed to sink slightly with every step he took. As he looked over the horizon he saw water crashing against jagged black rocks that came to a deadly point. Hemlock as he stared at the water, began to feel thirsty. He contemplated going over to the water to get a drink. He knew he'd risk getting swept away by the waves or falling onto the jagged rocks below. He walked over to the shoreline the sand getting stuck between his toes at every step due to his inexperience walking on beaches. he walked back and forth at the edge of where the cliff by the water was. He tried to look for the easiest way down with the dullest rocks and the least steep slope.
He found a slope with very little rocks, the slope wasn't all the steep and would be easy to get down. As he walked down each step he took he took slowly and carefully as he didn't want to slip and fall. When he reached the bottom he walked over to the water. He attempted to drink it but the tide quickly went back away from him. "What...?" he muttered as the water escaped him and his maw became covered in sandy mud. He walked up into the water and was surprised when the water began to go up and then recede. "Hmm..." he said with a soft and low growl. He dipped his head in the water and began to drink. He was surprised when a salty taste filled his mouth. He wrinkled his nose, "What the hell...? What is this place...?" He muttered under his breathe. He walked out of the water dismayed when he walked out the ground began to cling to him making a grainy sort of mud on his legs which he ignores as he walked back up the slope. The wild was so strange to him he was always finding new things that were so odd to him. He wondered why the water had tasted so foul to him. Maybe the water was contaminated? 'Better find somewhere else to get water...' He thought to himself.

Iris watched sadly as each of her friends had wandered away, including @kirito . Her ears and tail drooped yet again as she whimpered to herself. She was back at square one - alone and sad.
The female continued to walk the coastline, hoping to possibly find something to eat. However, she spotted another wolf. The wolf looked similar in color, almost, and it was a bit larger. She couldn't help but laugh a little to herself as the wolf seemed confused when the tide was swept away, and it went to follow the water. 'They're not all bad.' She thought to herself, working up a bit of courage to go over and speak to the wolf. It was better than being alone, she figured. She actually enjoyed the company of the few other wolves from before. But, of course, they had left, and she hadn't got much time to spend with them.
She cautiously made her way over to the wolf, just in time for her to hear it speaking a little. The voice was masculine, assuming he was a male afterwards. "It's the coastline..." Iris murmured softly to him. That's the tide...it comes in and out. You have to be quick to catch it..." She tried to come off friendly, and not as nervous as she actually was.
OOC: Hope you don't mind me joining...I saw your post and decided it would be better to stay, instead of exiting, since all of my role-play accompanies left xD

Hemlock was startled when another wolf appeared in front of him. She had snow white fur with light gray eyes.He wasn't paying much attention so it seemed as if she had teleported in front of him. He stumbled backward, but easily caught himself. "It's the coastline..." She told him softly. "That's the tide...it comes in and out. You have to be quick to catch it..." She said in a friendly tone. "Oh, Thank you." He barked wagging his tail. "I'm Hemlock." He told her, Hemlock paused. Most wolves he met weren't all that friendly Maybe it's a trap? he thought to himself. It didn't matter now if he panicked and ran she'd probably attack him, but if she wasn't lying he had someone who could help him survive in this strange world. Maybe it was worth the risk. He'd likely die anyways without her. "What's your name?" he asked keeping a friendly and cheerful tone of voice. The grainy mud stuck his fur together at the paws, it was wet and soggy he didn't know a way to get it off besides washing or licking it off. He'd have to wait to get rid of it if he went back into the water the mud would stick back onto his fur. The early morning sun reflected off the water beautifully, making it look like there were diamonds floating in the water. The Coastline seemed to be a strange and beautiful place filled with mystery and perhaps adventure. He wondered if the wolf in front of him was a pack wolf, it seemed unlikely since she didn't chase him off saying she had a claim to the land. The wild out here seemed to have a disproportional amount of rogues to pack wolves. I bet if the rogues banded together they could chase off all the pack wolves he thought to himself. He didn't understand why some of them didn't ban together and take over their territory, but he could ask himself the same question. Maybe because he had no use for a chunk of territory of his own, he could live peacefully in unclaimed lands. If he ran out of prey to hunt that'd be the only reason, but he wouldn't bet the security of himself and his family on hoping the rogues wouldn't run out of food. The female was relieved that he didn't seem threatening, nor straight up rude. Her fear was that he'd be uncomfortable with her presence, or simply try to harm her, one way or another. But he seemed very kind, and eager to socialize.
"I'm Iris." She said softly, gazing at him. She noted that his paws were a little dirty. Not that hers were the cleanest, because they certainly weren't. With the amount of sand that had stuck to her paws, along with anything else that she stepped on, she wasn't one to judge. However, seeing as he looked a little confused, she couldn't help but think that maybe he wasn't used to being out in the wild. Maybe he was part of a pack, or is part of one, and has never ventured out on his own before. Or maybe, even, he was kept with humans for a portion of his life. The white wolf was very curious of the whereabouts of the male in front of her. But she knew she shouldn't ask a question like that so soon, as it could be personal. Besides, she wanted to hopefully become friends with Hemlock. Not push him away because of nosiness.

"Iris?" He asked with a gleeful smile. " "You're a flower, like me." He remembered seeing an iris once in the garden out in the front yard of his captors. A woman always was out there, pulling out weeds and watering the plants. It was quite a nice looking flower a purple with petals spread apart and yellow creeping up from the center like veins golden from a heart. He shook his whole body sending droplets from his sodden pelt. He began to wonder where Iris had come from. Maybe she came from a pack and had left them, or she was born to a few rogues. There would be no reasonfor her to be in rogue lands, there was nothing here for her if her pack had territory. She couldn't help the small smile she showed. Iris was so happy with how kind Hemlock was being. "Yeah," She laughed a little bit, for the first time in a while. "Like the flower.""What are you doing out here, all alone?" She asked him curiously, quirking her head to the side a bit as she carefully sat down. The female made sure to keep watch for any hot rocks or sand underneath her bottom, as she had mistakingly done a little while ago with her other group. Thankfully, the ground was too hot, as the sun wasn't directly above them anymore. She let her tail rest comfortably beside her as she waited for Hemlock's response. "Like the flower." She responded with a smile and a wagging tail. Iris was quite friendly and seemed happy to chat with Hemlock, which to him was a great relief. Iris also hadn't seen through him which was also good. "What are you doing out here, all alone?" Iris asked him curiously tilting her head to the side. Blood rushed to Hemlock's head, his mind began to race thinking of what he should tell her. His whole body tensed, he tried to remain composed and not show his anxiousness at the question. "Err...I'm a rogue...My Parents were rogues too..." He said looking away briefly. "Why are you out here alone?" He asked Iris, hoping to divert her attention from the previous question. He didn't know what she'd think if she found out he was a pet. She'd likely think he was useless and leave him, he'd be thought of as dead weight. Hemlock needed someone to teach him to survive instead of learning it all the hard way. When he left he was thrust into a world where everything was new and strange. He knew nothing about it, he couldn't hunt on his own, find a place to sleep or simply know who's territory is whose it was all so confusing to him, he knew nothing about fighting either and he rather sucked at it. He didn't ever know if a fight was to the death or to teach him a lesson. It was a dangerous world for someone as soft as him, he was too trusting and too quick to make friends and in this world there was no room for weaklings and wolves who play fairly

Iris could tell he seemed nervous at her question, so she didn't push too much on it. She knew what it was like to feel under pressure due to a personal question like that. She'd hopefully find out more about it later on, but if she didn't, she could live with it. It wasn't much of her business, anyway.
"My parents were rogues, too." That's all she would give away. She hated speaking about what had happened to her family. It hurt her heart to think about it.
At least the two had something in common - rough patches in their past that they both weren't too eager to speak about. Iris figured she'd open up to Hemlock sooner or later, if they stayed together. She hoped they did. Hemlock seemed like a great companion to have along side her instead of just wandering around on her own. Besides, it was dangerous to do that anyway. She was aware that there were pack territories a few miles from here, and she was deathly afraid of accidentally trespassing. She knew sometimes trespassers were ordered to death in some packs. Others were simply murdered by the alpha, or alphaess.

"My parents were rogues, too." Iris told him, Hemlock could tell that's all she'd give away. Hemlock's stomach growled fiercely, he shuffled a little bit embarrassed about the gurgling noises. "Care, to go and hunt?" He asked, he hadn't eaten for days. Yesterday he traveled all day and the day before he just arrived at an open cave. He wondered what kind of things could be caught. He had seen some birds around as well as fish that washed up onto the shore. A bird landed on a rock nearby it was about as big as his head and neck. It as rather gross looking, its feathers were ruffled and dirty its wings were grayish while the rest of its body was white. It squawked at them and then quickly flew away. He wondered why Iris left her family, maybe she was like him tore away from her family at such a young age she couldn't remember them. Of course, it was unlikely she was kept by humans like him. Honestly, he didn't care enough to pry and it didn't matter to him, her past was just that, in the past. Hemlock had also grown weary his paws were sore from walking and the lack of food caused him to need more sleep to conserve energy. He wondered if she was also hungry, she didn't seem tired at all compared to him and food seemed plentiful here unless she just arrived like him or had very little time to hunt.

"Care, to go and hunt?" He asked her. Iris' wagged her tail a little, more so of a swaying motion and nodded. She loved running around and catching things, especially if it was beneficial. "Yeah!" She smiled a bit.
She had seen along the way lots of crustaceans, that mostly scurried under the sand or hid underneath rocks when she walked by. They were decently easy to catch, as well as small fish, rats and mice. Birds were a little harder, for her. She found it more difficult to hunt them. They could move pretty fast, and sometimes they were in small groups, and there was the chance they'd all come flying towards her. She never really tried catching larger game. She was quite small, so it was a little harder for her to hunt something like a large fish, or a seagull.
Iris noticed Hemlock staring at something behind her. She turned to see a seagull, and looked back at him as it flew away. "You're better off not trying to grab those by yourself...they're pretty difficult, and unlikely to catch." The female told him softly.

Scenery The Three-Legged She-Wolf
"Let's go then," Apollo began striding out into the brush and Scenery did her best to hobble after him though he was walking tad fast for her liking. She listened in as she heard a few gulls crying out as they flew to the shore below to feast on crabs and washed up fish. Scen sighed as she watched them, remembering a time in which she would have been chasing after them as fast as she could, ready to catch one. But she couldn't even run anymore so it was certainly out of the question. The air smelled deeply of salt and fish which actually smelled quite nice and welcoming to the tripod. The blue waves crashed noisily on rocks by the beach and the comforting noise filled the she-wolf's ears as she realized she had been so focused before that she hadn't bothered to listen. Scenery stood, nose pointed upward and eyes closed as she took it in for much too long.
"Which way should we go? We'll need to find a river..." Apollo's now far away voice brought the tripod back to the present, making her eyes open and her head snap around to find their retreating figures. Scrambling to catch up with the two, Scenery's breath grew slightly ragged as she forced out some words. "If we head down to the shore, we might find a stream that leads to the ocean. Then we can just follow it back to a less salty area." Scen felt herself cringe as she thought of drinking salt water and waited for the couple's response.
