The large male watched as the females ear twitched slightly, was she perhaps annoyed with him? The male held that capability more than he'd like to admit, being able to rub others the wrong way in the span of a short time. "I-I know...I was just really...really thirsty..." she stuttered. Ashi gave her a sympathetic lop-sided smile. Yeah, dehydration could make you do silly things he supposed. Turning his large cranium left to right he scanned the vast amounts of coastline. Just seawater. Even Ash had to admit he could go for a drink, a meal and a long rest right about now. He'd been up wandering all night after all. "We'll go search for drinkable water." He spoke to the female and smaller male, looking to both of them. "Does that sound alright with you two? Perhaps we could even find something to eat." he said with a grin, coaxing the two lupines with the promise of food. Ashi was a capable hunter, yet he wasn't quite sure what could even be edible on this kind of land. But he would have to make do, especially if the two wolves agreed.
Addressed: @iris, @hemlock OOC: Alright so my plan is to go look for water, bump into that larger group over there, maybe join them, if that's alright with you guys? I also have a plot awaiting with one of Vera's characters but for now -- water~!

Iris was surprised he wanted to stick around with herself and Hemlock. Usually her, very few, friends would come and go before they could be friends for very long, which made her sad. She was always alone without anybody to talk to, which probably affected a lot of her social skills.
She sat quietly in the sand. Since the sun hadn't been up long, the sand wasn't too hot yet. She let her tail wrap around herself as she glanced at Ashi as he spoke. "I'd like that." She nodded, offering a slight smile as he grinned. She was a little hungry at this point, the crabs weren't much of a hunger solver yesterday.
OOC: Sure, I don't mind(:

Ashi watched with pure liquid gold eyes as the female glanced at him, offering only a small "I'd like that." along with a small smile. That would be enough, the large male only presumed wherever Iris went, Hemlock was sure to follow, even if the little guy had been quite quiet for some time. Long, muscled limbs stretched out for a moment, pelt bristling slightly only to unbritstle as he shook out his fur. He had seen water not too far away while he was gallivanting in the night. A satisfied smile graced his lips as he turned towards the two, smaller wolves. " Shall we then?" he said with a casual gentlemanly tone. He headed North West, the sure sign of hydration's whereabouts. Ash could't tell if it was an uncomfortable or not silence as he walked with the two, that is if they had decided to follow him. He liked the two, that was sure. They seemed nice enough. A bit of an odd pair but non-the-less friendly. Hemlock seemed like a bit like a younger brother to Iris from Ashi's standpoint, since y'know, 'it's not like that' he thought teasingly with a grin. It made the large lupine miss his little brother dearly. The smirk morphed into a sad smile, his yellow-metallic eyes cast down to his paws. He missed his old pack, his old life. He missed the snow and his parents. There were a lot of things the large male missed, but he wouldn't let it hurt him. Not anymore at least. With a bright smile he turned to the alabaster and oaken lupines. "Nearly there~!" he chimed. It wasn't too long after however, that the male slowed his walk to a stop. His ears flickered wildly as his nose twitched too. "You two smell that?" It wasn't water, no. Different scents flooded through him, others of their kind. He'd have to be cautious of course, but Ashi never missed the opportunity to be social. With a small nod of his head and a reassuring smile to the two canines, the multi-toned male slowly crept towards the smells. Two? Three? No, four. There were four others lingering about. Sure enough, a little way away were a group of four wolves. Two males and two females. They seemed civil enough. Ash didn't know how Iris and Hemlock would feel nor react to the group, but he hoped they would play friendly just as they did to him upon meeting the brute. With a flattering smirk, the large male approached the group. "Hey there," he said with a casual tone, gold eyes scanning each lupine in the small group. "I'm Ashi, this is Iris," he gave a curt nod to the ivory she-wolf, "And Hemlock." he repeated the action to the chocolate-pelted younger. He hoped they wouldn't mind his little introduction for them but he liked to get formalities out the way.

Although she hadn't known the new male very long, in fact not even for a full twenty four hours, she found herself growing very comfortable around him very quickly. She felt she could be herself and depend on him, which she really needed after all these years of pure loneliness. Leading their group of three, Iris and Hemlock followed Ashi as he walked, trusting his instinct as to where ever he was going.
However, as they wandered, she couldn't help but notice Ashi's change in mood in a mere few seconds. Although he hadn't said anything, she assumed she was thinking of something, or someone, as he happened to smile. But the smile that suited him quite well faded into that of a sad one, which made her feel empathetic towards him, even though she didn't have a clue as to what he was thinking of. She'd been sad for so long now that it had become a part of her. Iris could only imagine what he had gone through.
Iris' ears immediately went up as she caught the smell of other wolves. Ashi seemed pleased with their find as he sought out their whereabouts. Coming across two males and two females, Iris consciously stood silently behind her new friend. One on one was easy to handle for her poor social skills, but now she was faced with four strangers that, as Ashi had just made very clear, she had to socialize with. She let him do all the talking, as he introduced herself and Hemlock.

A pair of smiles greeted the tawny female as she approached and introduced herself, one a wide, welcoming grin, and the other a touch shy. The first voice to reply to her own belonged to the male, and Cana found herself having to look up at him as he spoke, being quite a bit shorter than he.
"Greetings! The name's Rubeus, nice to meet ya'." A smile stretched across the she-wolf’s ashen lips. The colossal male - Rubeus, as he had come to be named - seemed already to be quite friendly and open. "I'm only out here making a quick detour to see the coastline before heading Westward,” Rubeus continued. Cana’s ears twitched curiously, her head tipping ever so slightly to the side as she listened raptly, politely intent. “I hear there are packs o'er in that direction, thought I might try my luck with joining one of 'em." The female’s head bobbed with understanding.
“Oh?" The smaller female’s voice chimed into the conversation, a sweet, canorous sound to Cana’s ears. "I was thinking about the same thing, I suppose it's better than being alone . . ." The comment was followed by a soft, gentle laugh. Perhaps her senses had deceived her, but without the small she-wolf’s continued sweet demeanor, the laugh might have seemed a bit strained. Perhaps I imagined it. I do hope nothing is wrong, though.
"What about you, Cana?" the small, cocoa lupine inquired. Cana’s lips parted to reply, but she paused as the other female turned to Rubeus and said, "Uhm, I think there's one. Over there." She gestured to the west with her muzzle. Amber eyes followed the movement, her muzzle also lifting to the air, taking in only the faintest trace of wolf-scent from the specific area to which had been indicated. The smell was familiar, however. Recognition sparked in her for a moment. The scent belonged to one of the packs she and Rylo had traveled along the borders of, during their time in the Pass.
“There are a few packs in that direction that I know of,” she commented, nodding to the other female. “I don’t believe that I know their names, but I traveled near one or two of them on my way here.” She paused, thinking back to the question asked of her moments before. “As for me, I’m not entirely sure. I’d considered joining a pack not so long ago, but I never decided to act upon it. A friend and I came this way to do a bit of exploring, but we parted ways a short while ago. Perhaps I will take my own chances with one of the packs soon enough.”
The sound of footsteps over sand caught the female’s attention soon enough, and her cranium swiveled in the direction of its origin. She found herself gazing toward a young male with a multihued coat. Upon his lips rested a gentle smile, and above them were two of the most intriguingly colored eyes Cana had ever come across. One was violet, while the other was a lighter color of lilac. "Huh-hi,” the male stuttered out as he approached, his voice being his next attribute to gain Cana’s attention. "Mu-mu-mu-y-my na-n-name i--is D-d-d-d-or-orsey Hic-c-c-cup."
Cana smiled brightly at the interesting male’s introduction, her tail flicking in a welcoming manner. “Hello there,” she greeted. “I’m Cana, it’s nice to meet you, Dorsey.”
Not long after she had spoken her greeting, a new wolf approached. Several wolves, actually. The first to reach them was an obsidian and cream brute, perhaps only a bit smaller than Rubeus. His visage was set into a smirk, his golden eyes sweeping over each of them in turn. Cana’s own orbs drifted over the male and his companions. One male and one female, both with predominantly ivory pelts marked by slightly darker hues.
"Hey there," the first male said. His tone was relaxed, laid-back. "I'm Ashi, this is Iris, and Hemlock." He gestured to each of the wolves in turn, the female being Iris and the male being Hemlock. Cana nodded in greeting. “Hello,” she replied quietly, her manner friendly, though a bit more reserved now that so many wolves had begun to gather. “I’m Cana.”
She glanced over at her three companions, prepared to speak their names, but stopped herself. If they wanted to introduce themselves, she wouldn’t stand in their way. It was also in that moment that Cana realized she had yet to learn the other female’s name. Guilt settled in her chest, and she wished she had asked before what the female’s name was.

Rubeus "Courage isn’t having the strength to go on - it is going on when you don’t have strength." It was the smallest and youngest of the group who spoke first, her soft tones capturing Rubeus's attention as he shifted his warm gaze towards her. “Oh? I was thinking about the same thing, I suppose it's better than being alone . . ." her soft words were followed by a laugh of sort, the beast taking this small cue as a sign that Nece was settling with the company of himself and Cana. He smiled at this, ears flicking in delight at the prospect of a new friend, and possibly even someone to travel with if she wanted the company. "What about you, Cana?" This time, Rubeus turned to face the dust-coloured female, the same smile he had given Nece still left over on his face as he gave a swish of his extremely plush tail. He had almost forgotten how pleasant it was to acquaint with new faces, and these two she-wolf seemed quite friendly, though the youngest seemed a tad reserved however, but Rubi wasn't one to judge too harshly. Besides, he believed this trait to be somewhat charming for a softie like himself.
"Uhm, I think there's one. Over there." Nece spoke once again, drawing Rubeus to follow her gesture to the west. Yes, the packs that he hoped to find there. He nodded, remembering the distant and faint pack-scents that he had barely caught upon entering this land. Perhaps he, Cana and Nece could travel in that direction together, well, if Cana was looking to join a pack as he were. “There are a few packs in that direction that I know of, I don’t believe that I know their names, but I traveled near one or two of them on my way here. As for me, I’m not entirely sure. I’d considered joining a pack not so long ago, but I never decided to act upon it. A friend and I came this way to do a bit of exploring, but we parted ways a short while ago. Perhaps I will take my own chances with one of the packs soon enough.”
Rubeus nodding along to her story, grateful for her conformation about the packs that he had suspected. "Well you're both very welcome to accompany me, I'd love to have some company." He offered, dipping his head slightly as he looked between Nece and Cana, hopefully that he could perhaps walk away from this encounter with some new friends. However, it was another scent that approached upon the horizon, this figure once again smaller than Rubeus while adorning a completely unique pelt. Rubi lifted his head slightly, not in a way that was meant to intimidate. The brute was merely curious. "Huh-hi,” he gave the newcomer a friendly smile as he had given Nece and Cana, assuming that the male was stumbling over his words due to nerves, perhaps. "Mu-mu-mu-y-my na-n-name i--is D-d-d-d-or-orsey Hic-c-c-cup." Hm, so the stuttering seemed to be more than a nervous hint. This wolf probably had a speech impediment. Rubeus blinked. He'd never heard someone with a proper stutter before. This would be interesting. "Greetin's, Dorsey Hiccup! I'm Rubeus." He greeted with a nod after Cana had introduced herself. Another companion wouldn't be so bad, but it was the next three figures on the horizon that made him slightly nervous. Hopefully they would prove to be as friendly to him and his new acquaintances as they had been to him.
"Hey there," the first male introduced himself. He seemed cool and relaxed, an approachable air to him. Rubeus slowly dipped his crown in acknowledgement. "I'm Ashi, this is Iris, and Hemlock." The brute of course gave each wolf a signature smile, the gesture being nothing but warm and of course entirely friendly. "Nice to meet y'all. The name's Rubeus." “Hello, I’m Cana.” The creamy she-wolf introduced as did he. The fluffy beast shifted his massive head to look towards the other two. "And this is Nece, and Dorsey Hiccup." Hopefully they wouldn't mind him introducing them. Rubi shifted his amber gaze back to look at Dorsey, Ashi, Iris and Hemlock. The "newbies". "So what are you folks doin' around here?" He asked politely, curious to get to know theses wolves as he had begun to do so with Nece and Cana.

Nece smiled, her tail waving slowly as Rubeus listened to her - a gesture foreign to the broken bitch. Perhaps I will take my own chances with one of the packs soon enough.” Would she joined them? Nece allowed an encouraging smile, hoping that Cana would indeed stick with them. A fatal flaw, to quick to trust. There she was, slipping. And she could feel it, she wasn't supposed to trust. That's what hurt the most.
"Huh-hi." Snapping her head to the side, Nece immediately tensed, her weight rocking back to her hind legs, and her lips pulling up to reveal deathly ivories. Everything about her screamed fighter. Killer. Adopting the all to familiar position with her tail curled against her back, her ears pinned forwards, muscles pulled taut, and her body high. Everything else was black, the only thing she could view was the stuttering male, who was friendly, a good first impression - unlike her own. It wasn't Dorsey himself, or the amount of wolves. In fact, the little group, and the one approaching were welcome in her eyes. They could protect one another, like a family - like the one she lost. It took a moment, her rigid body slowly melting down, head drooping, lips pressed together in shame. What set her off? Not even the once-beautiful female knew, her own panic originating from several things she would never understand. Sounds, words, postures. The smallest things could set off the chocolate hued bitch like a bullet.
Allowing a small sigh to leave her, Nece nodded as he named himself, giving a small reassuring smile as he stammered. Remaining silent, the oaken bitch slowly regained elegant - albeit cautious - demeanor, her head slowly turning to a rather handsome male as he brought two others over, her breath pausing in her throat. "Hey there," Blinking, Nece held an even, pleasant expression as he introduced his companions in turn. One ivory, and one a bark colored male. The gentle female, in all honesty, wasn't paying attention. Her glazed over optics wandered to her paws as she swayed on her paws. The wolf was fine, really, simply lost in thought, sucked within a trance of self-deprecation, and calming thoughts that really didn't help anyone, not even herself.

๓เץคк๏ "Some say I'm too sensitive, but the truth is I just feel too much. Every word, every action and every energy goes straight to my heart."
Watching as the group she had been with leave and disperse, she was left with a sinking feeling in her breast. It had been almost a full day since she last seen her dear sister and with her increasing absence she felt worry naw at the back of her mind. Slowly turning to retrace her steps she found no scent or sign that her sister was even there.
Spending the rest of the day searching for her sister, she could not find any signs of her. Miyako believed that she had simply ran away or had went the wrong direction to look for her. Taking a deep breath, she moved forward and away from the dark waters that tasted disgusting. Her stories about this place would tell tales of old water and sinking ground.

Kato Rogue Wolf ☆─ In, out. In, out. The shallow breathes of Kato escaped her maw, tongue hanging on the right side of her dry maw. Exhausted, that was the only word to describe the she-wolf, pelt painted as if she were the season of autumn. Her gait was leisurely, mind sent in a frenzy of her past history. Thankfully, the she-wolf would not get emotional, as she was too tired to let a tear of frustration shed from her tangerine eyes. She had been walking past territories, weakened bronze hued limbs attempting to support her weight as they slithered across the flat pebbly shore. Water trickling through crevices, it took a few moments for the she-wolf to take notice, and slip out a brief high-pitched bark of glee. Anchoring her convex head towards the rippling water, a pink tongue slid out, only to be recoiled back briefly as a taste of saltwater ran across her tongue.
"Bullshit!" The single curse oozed from her tongue, brows furrowed in nothing but not only disappointment, but frustration. Its like the ocean had lured her here, only to slice her tongue with the bitter mistakable liquid - it was a sea of tears, wasn't it? Bitter and cold. The ocean was a backstabber. She easily bit back another curse, as at the edge of her peripheral vision, it appeared that the ocean wasn't the only thing so prominent in this area. She noticed others - others of the same kind. Wolves, she noticed. Fellow wolves, just like her. Not foxes, not coyotes, but wolves! And there were many - six of them, in fact! And more than two? It's a pack! Clearly unmistakable. Darkened tangerine gaze had now lit up like a spark of flames, briefly planning her approach. This pack could possibly a ticket way to redemption, starting over, rebuilding her reputation. Lips curving upwards into a smile, she started her prance, a swaying gait, ignoring her exhaustion from before. She wanted to focus on this, and only this.
"Hey!" Exclaimed the titian she-wolf, tail swaying to and fro positively. "Sorry for the straightforward approach, but I've noticed that you guys look like a pack. I, for one, am a pack kind of wolf and I'm kind of interested of joining." The words rolled across her tongue almost too easy - introducing herself was almost too easy, so getting into a pack must definitely be easy. Just a few words, and she'd already be in! How could this get any worse? Her hard work had finally paid off.

It seemed Iris had no objections to Ash introducing the newly-formed trio, which he was thankful for. It was a an older male that had spoken first. "Nice to meet y'all. The name's Rubeus." He greeted warmly, followed by a pretty female. "Hello, I'm Cana." she said simply yet had a friendly tone. Ashi gave them a friendly grin, an affable flick of the tail to accompany the twitch of lips. The large male then gestured to the two beside his own large frame. "And this is Nece, and Dorsey Hiccup." Ash scanned the group, they all seemed nice enough. A few were a little... Off, but none-the-less, able to hold a civil conversation. "So what are you folks doin' around here?"
Ashi opened his muzzle to answer Rebeus' inquiry, a simple one about finding water. However before a single word could leave his vocal chords, another voice cut in. "Hey!" Ashi's large fluffy head turned towards the female voice. Tall, narrow ears flickering towards a pretty caramel and cream lupine. "Sorry for the straightforward approach, but I've noticed that you guys look like a pack. I, for one, am a pack kind of wolf and I'm kind of interested of joining." A pack? Ashi stared in confusion for a moment before it suddenly clicked and he letting out a boyish laugh. Grinning playfully at the female he "Unfortunately, we're not a pack Little Missy." his voice only a tad teasing but in the nicest way possible. The nickname coming out of completely nowhere but hey-ho Ashi liked to think of himself as a charming fella. "Just a bunch of strangers, The names Ashi. My companions Iris and Hemlock over here," he said once again gesturing the white wolves behind him. "Were actually on our way to find drinkable water." Ashi was semi thankful for the intrusion, at least this way he had answered Rebeus' question. "Perhaps you'd like to accompany us?" He inquired, gesturing to every singular wolf in the small rogue group. A silent invitation to them all. If they could find water then maybe a hunt would be easier. Ashi's pure golden eyes flickered to each form. They all seemed healthy and fit. Perhaps excellent hunters. The question to be was whether or not they were as hungry as the large wolf himself was. Walking all through the night surely did a number on his stomach that he wouldn't mind being filled. The more the merrier.

The very timid female was slightly relieved when a few of the wolves introduced themselves - seeming nice enough. Though she was still rattled. Four complete strangers, with basically two beside her. Iris wasn't exactly sure what she was doing anymore. Letting all of these wolves in...She'd get herself hurt. However, her fears came out on top over her almost confidence. She continued to sit quietly behind Ashi, her ears down submissively and her tail close to her side. Her gray eyes laced with fear and concern.
The group of seven soon became eight as another wolf approached. Ashi took his role as the introducer once again and told said wolf who she, Hemlock, and Ashi himself was. The other wolves didn't seem to say much.

Shuddering, Nece closed her eyes, her lips opening as she whispered a faint: "I'm sorry.". Looking around, her head pushed upwards, rubbing her cheek against Rubeus' shoulder as both a thanks, and a farewell. She didn't know where he planned on going, but for now, she felt the need to run. Run away from these wolves. She was dangerous, sure. But her skills could contribute to a pack greatly. So, in turn, she slipped into her emotionless facade, her eyes clouding and muscles tensing. Ripping a loud snarl, her head jerked to the side, her teeth snapping towards the newcomers, before she twisted, and retreated. Paws thundered against the ground, heading towards the pack she previously mentioned.
Before she exited the territory, she slowed into a walk, glancing behind her one last time, before she disappeared out of view. She headed towards what she hoped would be a fresh start, coincidentally approaching the pack that needed it as much as herself.

Scenery
Timeskip
It had been two months since Scenery had left her group and the tripod felt it was time for her too leave. This place, although relatively nice, was not to her taste and since she had no group to hold her back, why not? The three legged female climbed to her paws and began hobbling forward at an even pace. The grasses whipped at her legs and sides but she didn't care much as they couldn't hurt her through her thick Yukon wolf coat. All Scen hoped for was a nice place to make a den, whether she made new friends or not. She didn't even know where she was going, just somewhere was good enough.

Blaez
Blaez new better then to listen to the current ongoing conversation of the wolves ahead. He had entered a new area Calming Coastline, Blaez slowly entered the area and there was already a large group of wolves everywhere, he searched for a shaded area or a calming area he could lie in. He had soon found nothing. Sooner or later after getting a bit closer to the group he had by accident over heard something. "I'm sorry." A wolf muttered. Blaez stopped in his tracks and tried not to listen any further. Sooner or later he had found a place to lie down. He sat his small body on the soft ground shut his eyes slowly and fell asleep.
Time had gone by he could already tell that one of the wolves of the group had left, the male then realized it had been a while since he fell asleep. The male then stood up and shook his fur. He had found over a few hills ahead the male had realized that there is two ponds ahead. He had then sprinted to the water in the sense that he was thirsty. Once the small male reached the water he then quickly drank from it until he was quenched. After Blaez finished his drink he raised his head and sniffed around for anything to eat. The rumble of his starved stomach was not pleasant and he needed to eat something fast. The male searched everywhere and soon found a dead part of a Gull, the male needed anything and so he ate is all to the bone. Blaez had soon finished and stood up quick. As the smal male stood from his meal he licked everything from his muzzle and smiled in relief. Blaez then turned around back toward the group he hadn't wanted to inturrupt and rudely join in so he went back to his spot and rested.

Kato Rogue Wolf ☆─ The autumn colored she-wolf was satisfied to get a response, her assumption of the group becoming a pack seeming to be incorrect. Of course, the she wolf was mildly disappointed, but had still continued to stand idly as she listened to the charcoal male speak, his words tangled with a charming tone, adding on a nickname for the copper she-wolf; something like 'Little Missy'. Afterwards, the male had introduced himself as Ashi, then had went forth to introduce the other companions in the group. Kato began with a slight smile that had drifted across her lips from the invitation, a little convinced to go, but alas, they weren't a pack, were they? Kato seemed mildly indecisive.
"That's a nice thought, Ashi," Kato had said, head tilted to her right in a thoughtful expression. Tangerine eyes trained on the male in front of her, the she-wolf only had a limited time to ponder and calculate. "I guess we could go try to-" The she wolf had been caught off as a feminine voice had whispered an... apology? What was that for? Shortly after, the she-wolf had turned, snarls rippling from the she-wolf, as if it were directed to her. Kato had no time to react in the same hostile manner, as it was part of her personality; the unnamed she-wolf's darkened limbs had carried her away without a proper explanation. "Rude." Uttered Kato, head tucked downwards fashionably. She did want to know where this brusque bitch had sauntered off to, so therefore she was wavering between her options.
"Why don't we go to see where she's going?" Kato had suggested out of the blue, head turning towards the group. Whether they were supportive or not of her statement, the she-wolf would not wait to stick around for an answer of disapproval. Willowy copper paws slithering across the sandy surface, the autumn colored bitch had silently trailed after the other, curiosity leading the way. Exit To - Lubrusca: Border Outskirts
