Cayden watched as she seemed to calm herself slightly. She whispered the words that he had said, repeating them to herself to gather her bearings. Finally, their eyes met for the first time. Her beautiful neon green spectacular to look at, his mismatched mint and white locking with hers, searching for a sign that she was once more with him. It seemed she had gathered her bearings and was once more there, and collected more so than she had been before. He went to speak, but kept his mouth shut as she seemed to linger her eyes on the scars that littered her body. As she moved once more to looking at his face, she looked away, trying not to linger too much. Cayden was happy enough that she was finally looking at him, and they had taken a step in the right direction. He wouldn’t push her to come to terms with his feelings, but instead would show her that he indeed was in love with her, and that he would protect her no matter what if she were to choose him as her mate. But it took time to convince someone such as Maleah that he was not out to hurt her. And he was completely fine with that. He would rather it take years for her to trust him than forcing her within months to become mates with him. Koga had promised that he would gain her as his mate, but he knew that the male would respect his wish of wanting to take it slow and allow the she-wolf to come to her own conclusion when it came to his romantic feelings towards her. But he hoped with time that he could persuade her to return those feelings. She rolled over, pulling away from him. The small cozy area she had left filled with cold air, causing the male to frown a bit. He was enjoying finally being able to be close to her without her shying away. She had taken a moment to stare at the ground where he had her pinned, eyes seemingly focused on the point with anger. He understood that she was terrified, and that it brought back memories that she couldn’t help but react negatively to. But it seemed that her stubborn nature would come out, as she wished to overcome what had just happened. She asked him to push her over once more, to trap her underneath him again. The male hesitated, looking towards her as he brought himself to his paws. She was indeed serious about it, and he gave her a simple nod. Doing what she asked him to, he gently rolled her over onto her back, making sure he didn’t hurt her too much in the process. He wondered what exactly had others done to her in her past to cause her to react in the way she had the first time. Whatever it was, he wanted to hunt them down and destroy them for hurting her. He would protect her from anything happening like that again. He would keep her out of harm's way, even if it meant that his life was put on the line for her. He had promised that the moment he finally presented himself to Koga and the male had offered her as his mate. Maleah

A small brown body laid quietly on the almost dry grass, on complete relaxation and peace. The pup dreamt with that feeling, the calm, quiet nothingness that he cherished so much, floating away on a dark, silent void. Then something cut right through his calm bubble and woke him up. "Hound! Hound come on, we've got things to do!." shouted another small, brown creature on his side. Once Hound's vision cleared and his focus was adjusted, the culprit came clear. Mutt, his younger, talkative broter. After a grunt and a sigh, the still half-asleep pup got up, managing to look at his sibling and muttering a small "Alright, alright...just give me a second...". He wouldn't complain, it seemed important as his whole family seemed to head towards somewhere, to do something he didn't know either. Exit to Mountain River Apprentice Mutt

Oh, how he wanted the Prophet to wake up. He needed Him to wake up. Antsy. The beast needed to move, to have a job for today. But the nanny stole Him. Right out from under the Beta's nose. Her and the Delta both, stealing away the attention that Ky desperately sought after. How dare they. Interrupting the morning that Ky had so nicely begun for him. Inked eyes flicked between the trio of wolves, waiting for Him to move on to much better things. At last, his desires were fulfilled. “Morning Ky,” even just his name rolling from those blessed jaws was enough to pacify the beast. The mingling of their shoulder fur was a much relished in bonus. “I hope you’ve been paying attention lately. I’ve a certain game I would like to play with my children, and I think you’ll help fulfill one of the roles quite nicely. Interested?” His voice infiltrated his mind, a set of sharp nods meeting his question. Of course, he had been paying attention. Everything that the Prophet said that he could hear, Ky sponged up. He would never let His words go to waste. “I’ll be testing their faith today. I’d like you to assist as the voice of Adjetni, so-to-speak, punishing them whenever they fail to recount his word. No scarring, nothing permanent, but painful, most definitely.”At last, he would be able to shed some new blood. His children had always been sacred. Now, at last, he would be able to see what sacred blood tasted like, see if it splattered onto the snow the same way that an infidel's would. Surely, if they got a question wrong it would. For any of them to make such a blasphemous mistake, the midnight beast would surely demonstrate His disappointment. "Think before you act, Ky. One day that howling of yours will get you killed," one of the children's voices brought a suddenly furious gaze to them. Imset. In an instant, his head was lowered, jaws flashing ivories that he so wished to sink into that pelt. All she had to do was slip up once and he would slam them into her. He obeyed their father, not them. If He so wished, he would deliver his daughter's carcass at those holy paws. But he had been told. No scarring. Nothing permanent. Rules that made this game much less fun, but allowed the male to get creative. At least one of them had to get the question incorrect, and when they did he would spring at the chance. His lashing tail displayed his eagerness to finally spill more blood. He had been awake for nearly two days, so his mind wasn't exactly functioning on the best of its poor capabilities. He missed Beelie and Zeebub. They hadn't visited in a while from up on their slope. Maybe he would see one of them today, if of course, He allowed it once this test was over. "Our beloved Adjetni's physical form is one to be feared, as he appears to us as a dark wolf, his body covered in curling cracks of burning lava and flame. Our Lord breathes his purifying fire upon us from his mouth, his head splitting into a duo if angered. He is truly magnificent," His eldest piped up again, her answer to the assigned question sadly correct. With a growl of acceptance, the Beta changed his focus to the two remaining siblings, his nerves fraying as he waiting to finally inflict pain again. His paw clawed through the snow, turning up pawfuls of iced ash simply to stain the snow as he waited. @koga Apprentice Imset Apprentice Varuna Apprentice Anubis

Tayla wasn’t necessarily interested in anything that was happening around her. She watched as Myles was happy after she offered a smile. She was of course, the wolf that determined most of his personality. It was sometimes a difficult power to wield, especially if she was in a sour mood, but she nudged her brother, giving him the silent announcement that she wanted him to be in that mood; happy. It was nice when he was happy, and it was nice when they all were, even if it were a short moment. Marusya - also known as Mistress - came to see them. She looked to the she-wolf, not saying a word as she spoke. She knew better than to interrupt the she-wolf when she spoke, and looked to her mother as she seemed to be frightened out of her mind. Why was that? There was nothing to be scared about. Except maybe the wolf that always made that weird crowing yowl in the mornings. He seemed rather scary whenever Tayla had poked her head out of the den. Letting her head loll as she followed her mother out of the den, she stuck close to Myles, toting the pup along. “Let’s have some fun once we get there,” She said, looking to him. Maybe some playfully tussling of some sort, or maybe even a little hunt of sorts, of Stanley’s tail since he seemed to be coming along. Myles inability to pronounce names correctly caused Tayla to smile. It was cute how he always practiced, and she would probably help him a little bit while they were by the river to pronounce names a bit better. It was her job to take care of him after all. Trotting behind her mother, she kept a pep in step as she went, not trailing too far from Myles or Zayn. The other’s she didn’t quite care that much about. -Exit- @marusya @miyako @myles Zayn @everyoneelsei'mlazy

Varuna was left pretty much alone in the commons with Ky and he wondered vaguely if his mother had even informed the Beta. Flicking a fiery tail he approached the black beast from the side. "Ky," he would call out, "Mo- I mean Alphess Marusya told me I was to shadow you today, I look forward to your teachings." Varuna spoke formally, wondering how well Ky would speak back. Ky was an interesting character that Varuna sought to know more about. Ky was ranked Beta but he seemed more like a mindless killer to the apprentice. Why rank a wolf who spoke broken English such a high rank? Perhaps his parents saw something more in the male. Why else would they put their only son, blessed by Adjetni's fire, with someone like that? His father came out of his den, his head immediately assessing the commons. Red eyes narrowed in on their den before he commanded them to join him. Moving forward he went on the other side of Imset and took a seat in the snow. Oh, how wonderful, a test. Looking to Ky, he wondered how hard the male would hit him? Does pain feel good? The question shocked him before his eyes went back to Koga's chest. He listened and once his sister's answered he spoke up, confidently and cockily. "Walk with Adjetni, Of course, you must stay awake to see our Go-" as he was talking he saw the flick of his Father's head before he was struck. A sharp cry left his lips at the force and he was down in the snow in a heart beat. The blow came at his head, from behind. His vision swam as he struggled back to his feet, he was sure he heard at least one sister snicker. @koga Beta Ky Apprentice Anubis Apprentice ImsetI'm posting before Anubis but since she gets hers right i thought it would be fine to post now.

Anubis waited patiently, seeing as their mother had disappeared to who knew where. Not that Anubis really cared. Her mother could go wherever and whenever she pleased, especially since she was the head of the pack. That meant they were waiting on their father. His appearance cause the she-wolf’s red eyes to snap from the space she had been staring into, to listen to what her father said. He spoke of being tested and Anubis groaned internally. She thought they might be able to at least fight something! The she-wolf wanted to do battle training and rip something or someone apart instead of sitting here for religion study. Letting her tail fall flat behind her, she looked to her father, and then to Ky. She wondered what kind of punishments the sadistic male was going to think up if they were to get something wrong. Not that she would. Listening to her father, he announced that Imset would be stating Adjetni’s true form. Her sister answered quickly, giving a correct answer. That was easy. Now it was her turn. She had to recite the real version of Adjetni’s blessing. Taking a moment to think, the she-wolf opened her mouth to speak. “Ignis servabit te,” The she-wolf spoke, looking towards her father with an almost smug look. Her red eyes then darted to Varuna. He got his answer wrong. This resulted in him being punished, and she couldn’t help but shake her head. Seems like he hadn’t paid as much attention as Imset and herself did, but they held positions that would need them to know every little detail of Adjetni’s will. Anubis was sure to pay attention closely to her father, as he would probably ask more questions with their brother having been punished for not answering his correctly. Hopefully the wrath that Ky unleashed upon Varuna would not be unleashed with the next round of questions, but Anubis would wait patiently, red eyes looking from their father to Ky, and then back again. cicatricum refertam pulchritudo “ The silent lingered between them for a few seconds. It was like he was making sure she actually wanted to train more. Still collecting herself, her frame still shook from the shock of having such violent flashbacks hit her so suddenly. The nanny closed her eyes as Cayden lightly rolled her back onto the ground, trying to keep her breathing steady. She had a plan. She could do this.
Stationed securely beneath Cayden's massive frame, the nanny fought back tears that pricked at her eyes. Constantly, she was reminding herself where she was, who she was with. This wasn't some open rogue lands. It was home, and everything was under control.
Opening her eyes, she sucked in a breath. She could do this. Adjetni supported her, Marusya supported her, Koga supported her, she wasn't some pathetic rogue anymore. Channelling her energy into her limbs, Maleah enacted her plan.
With a shout as she struck, she shot her hind legs out against Cayden's. Since she met Koga and Marusya, she had put on some muscle, and gained enough weight to be healthy. This wasn't just some tap on his leg. This was the culmination of years of terror exploding into finally fighting back.
Tears pricking at her eyes, Maleah scrambled out from underneath Cayden as he was momentarily unbalanced. Honestly, she could have stood un underneath him and simply walked out because he was so tall, but no other wolves could possibly be as big as him. This time, the tears weren't of panic or fear. They were of relief.
She had done it. At last, those demons couldn't control her anymore. Would they still linger? For a little while longer, yes. But had she started to fight against them, and it had never felt so good. But so tiring. The come down from a panic attack and using a lot of her energy to fight against herself was nothing akin to smooth. Making an impromptu decision, her tiny frame buried itself into thick white fur."Thank you," she murmured quietly, not quite moving away from the male just yet. He grounded her, reminded her of home even as she was panicking. That wasn't something just anyone could do.”

Cayden felt like he was being much too gentle with her, but when it came to the she-wolf, he had no ill will, and no want to harm her in any way. As he had moved on top of her once more, she seemed to almost throw herself back into the panic she had before, and he shuddered at the thought of her thinking he was once again the unknown enemy that had caused her so much pain. He would destroy anyone and everything that touched Maleah. That he was sure of. Nothing would make her think she was ever endangered again, not while he was alive. Since his thoughts had wandered and he was simply looking down at her, waiting for something to happen, she gathered the strength he knew she had, and kicked at his back leg. It caused him to become unbalanced, although he caught himself so that he wouldn’t land on her and cause more panic to rise from her. He didn’t want to push his weight on her if he could help it, and he watched as she triumphantly pushed her way out from underneath him. He looked to her to congratulate her, and to tell her that she did well, but with a swift movement, she was pressed into the plush side of the male, his heterochromatic eyes widening as he finally processed what was happening. The beautiful she-wolf he was giving his heart and soul to, was curled in his pelt, whispering a thank you. He felt overwhelmed with emotion, moving to wrap his tail around to the side where he could gently rub it against her, his head reaching down and touching her head with the tip of his nose. There was no way he was going to let anyone harm her, not after this. “It’s my pleasure, Maleah. I would do anything for you,” He said, his voice deep, and holding a caring and sensitive tone. “I will be here when you need me, and I will never let harm come to you again,” He spoke, his tail sweeping gently. “I will protect you until my last breath, and I promise that,” His words fell then, and silence enveloped the two for a moment before he lifted his muzzle. “Shall we continue? Or is that enough for today? I don’t want you pushing yourself too hard,” He said, looking down at her, concern spreading over his di-colored gaze. This she-wolf was his world, the one that breathed life into him. To see her every morning, and to help her overcome whatever demon has been holding her back, was one of the many things he would do for her. Maleah

It seemed that today was just going to be one of those horrendously boring days. Psyche had reluctantly trailed away from his side only after Koga emerged from his den and the prospect of licking his ass arose. Pathetic. Dark chocolate eyes scanned the commons, hoping to see something worthwhile to do. Maleah and Cayden were being disgusting, trying to hide flirting and what was that? A cuddle? How sweet. Almost so sweet he could vomit. No use looking at that pair anymore. He wasn't about to lose the little bit of breakfast that wasn't rotten he had found.
Koga seemed to think it was a fun idea to play a little game with his brats. How enlightening. Just more shite spouting about Adjetni this and Adjetni that, when would they ever learn that the world was just a place that hated everyone, some more than others. Him for instance. He was stuck with nothing to do but listen to the deranged questionings of a crazy wolf, and he didn't have Xalie to pester anymore. Truly, he missed being able to fill the unbearable years that passed in 'minutes' with taunting her. Psyche fought back far too much and had too much in common with him to get any good entertainment value out of her. If only there was someone else who realized the beauty of wreaking havoc. For now, he'd wait, see if Koga needed him to do some tiny task so he could fill the time he'd rather spend sleeping or doing literally anything else.

Alpha Adramalech of Mortiul | The trip was short, and he had made sure that his two children were following closely, not allowing them to wander. Although they were already perfect following every command he barked out to them within a moment’s notice, they were already turning out to the perfect offspring. Beelzebub had followed along with him, Sakia at his side as he ventured towards Ignasia’s common grounds. It seemed they were all up and about, not sparing a moment in the morning to begin with training and preparations. Marusya was already with Vivaldi, so it left him talking to Koga about the little tournament Beelzebub had come up with. The offspring that lay still in their commons would be good for one thing; entertainment. And they would serve as a meal for his two offspring, as their first taste of wolf would allow him to determine whether or not they were really supposed to be his successors. Of course, with how young and moldable they were, he could quite easily get them to eat. But it would also prove to him that they were willing to, even if they looked to be one of their own kind. Ronin, Beelzebub’s slave that had tried running from what he had heard, was being starved, and he knew that a wolf of his previous dignity would not hesitate to rip into the flesh if it were offered to him, and that would be where they would change the male to be more like them, especially since that had been Beelzebub’s efforts thus far. This was the process they went through; starve them to the point they’ll eat their own kind so that they would understand. It was Adramalech’s way, or surely a painful death.
Stepping foot into the commons, his presence would cause one of Koga’s children to look towards him, Anubis was her presumed name. She was supposed to be taking over the pack with her sister once they were old enough. Having come in right after Ky’s assault on Varuna, he noticed that the male of the litter had probably done something to deserve it, but he would not question Koga about the training. He would clear his throat as he approached, flicking his tail for Sakia to stay back, and his two sons to come to the forefront, seeing as they were being presented to one of the more important figures in the territory. “I hope I’m not interrupting something that is important. I have matters I’d like to discuss with you,” He said, looking towards Koga’s offspring. He’d wait for the males reply. He would more than likely be willing to at least listen to what Adramalech had to say. After all, there was not a time that Adramalech nor Koga had ignored each other’s request to discuss plans. After Koga was brought away from the little training session with his children, Adramalech gave a sweep of his tail before sitting, waiting for Koga himself to sit as well. There was a lot of information that Adramalech had to discuss with the male, and he maintained his dominant posture as he sat. His son’s would sit down next to him as well, or they would gain a stern look from him until they did.
“For starters. I would like you to meet my offspring. Leyak and Aamon, this is Koga, the Alpha and Prophet of Ignasia,” Adramalech introduced them, looking towards the tawny male that sat in front of him. “Vivaldi has finally let them leave the den, and with matters this important I brought them along to listen and learn,” He spoke, his black eyes looking over the other male. “First on the agenda is about tonight. He had the brilliant idea of hosting a tournament. As you are more than aware, his offspring have turned out to be lazy good for nothing brats. With your permission, I’d like to have your litter be pit against them in a battle to the death. One battle per each wolf, whoever comes out on top is the champion. Of course, your litter won’t be facing their own, as they are important pieces of our plan. But I think it would be good to display to Leyak and Aamon what happens to those that slack off,” He said, looking towards the two small bundles of fur. “And we could feast on the bodies of the deceased as a celebration. This land hardly hosts any prey and it would be a good opportunity for all,” He finished, waiting for Koga’s response. After he would get one, he would turn to the other matter at hand.
“I also would like to discuss plans of gathering a new Salutary. With Koa dead and Xalie gone, I presume that we need another. Sakia has given me intel about Ferus, a pack I know you’re familiar with. Their Salutary is a bit gruff, but with you knowing the lay of the land rather well, I am asking your assistance in capturing the Salutary and bringing him back here for our use,” Adramalech said, gauging the male’s reaction. “If you need my help in any way I will be willing to offer it,” He stated. “I would hate to have our packs come over with a sickness that would require a Salutary’s attention, especially without one. And if there are any other Ferus members you can capture, particularly females, I would like if you gathered them as well,” He said, looking towards his business partner with questioning black eyes. Koga had never been one to be hostile, so he had no worry of that. But this could provide him with an opportunity to take his children out and show their skills to the world. Flicking his tail, he would wait for Koga’s response. Beelzebub would probably wander to interact with Ky, Koga’s Beta. The two seemed to at least get along, with their craze habits.

| Desperately, blacked out eyes switched between the two children that had yet to speak. Please get it wrong. "Ignis servabit te," Anubis replied, her smug tones grating on ears that knew, unfortunately, that she was correct. A low whine left the Beta. His only hope was in Varuna. The orange male that was supposedly assigned to him by His mate. How was he supposed to teach him anything? He didn't want to stay near His offspring, despite His prestigious blood being within them. Anxious, he crawled around behind the gathered trio. If, please if, Varuna managed to displease Him, it would give him easy access to the tiny punishment he was allowed to give them"Walk with Adjetni, Of course, you must stay awake to see our Go-" Ky screeched with glee, his form bolting forwards, "No no no no no VarVar! Nooo! No no!" A hyena-like laugh rolled out of his body as his paddle of a paw collided firmly within the back of Varuna's skull. It just wasn't enough. But He said no scarring. Nothing permanent. No fun. Truly no fun. He couldn't spill any half-prophetic blood onto the snow; what even was the point of punishing? The benevolent god he was embodying surely wouldn't leave Varuna with only his head spinning. Before his body willed him forwards with hungry claws, another frame interrupted their training session. It was his twin and his bestest bestest friend! Instantly, his attention was switched entirely. He and his twin moved away to talk. Beelie was left to deal with the craze that was Ky all on his own. He couldn't help but catch a few words of Adramalech's speech. a tournament, a feast, a Salutary, Ferus. Just that one mention of that pathetic pack's name brought back one of Ky's best memories. A shudder of delight rippled down his spine. How he loved the first time he wandered upon undeserving borders. That was where the inky mass became His shadow. It was where, under His first command, he tore the entrails from a she-wolf. Where he had the satisfaction of breaking a young spine like snapping a twig. Where he got to wear the skin of another, hold its carcass, earn his first few blessed scars. And here its name was again! Ferus. "Beelie, going back to Ferus? Want to visit, yes, yes! Kill more of them. Destroy them. Together? Like pathetic Somnus Alphess and rest? Much fun Beelie, much fun! Blooooood and deaaaaaaath and funnnnnnn," Ky sang the last five words in a hauntingly off-pitch tone. Camouflaged eyes looked hopefully to Beelie. Would he and Zeebub get to play? His attention flicked between Him and his allies' Beta, hoping someone would tell him he could spill some red. He wanted to paint again! Couldn't do it with Varuna. Zeebub was the best to paint with. Together they were prolific artists, spreading their craft across the lands. Oh, how he needed that back. | Let Him guide us |

cicatricum refertam pulchritudo “ His impossibly huge frame was something that Maleah could stay pressed against for hours. The warm feeling that bloomed in her chest as Cayden moulded himself around her was welcome. His tail around almost her entire body, his head resting lightly on top of hers, she never felt more safe and comfortable. “It’s my pleasure, Maleah. I would do anything for you. I will be here when you need me, and I will never let harm come to you again. I will protect you until my last breath, and I promise that. Shall we continue? Or is that enough for today? I don’t want you pushing yourself too hard,” Cayden's voice held such a softness to it. Maleah had heard it often from him before, but now that she had realized just how important Cayden was to her, It made her blush beneath orange tinted fur.As she felt his head lift off hers, she tilted her gaze upwards to meet with his. For a few moments, she didn't reply to his question. Neon green and bi-coloured eyes locked and Maleah felt her face flush even further. She was sure that her burning ears could be felt through Cayden's fur. Letting her gaze fall, the tiny Iberian mumbled, embarrassed, into the Delta's fur. "I-I think I'm done for today... could we just..." she couldn't believe that she was forcing the words out of her mouth, "c-cuddle...?" She didn't want to raise her head out of his fur. She was so shocked and horrified and embarrassed that she had even said that and exposed herself! Curling closer to him, she kept her eyes closed and her body pressed into his plush fur.”

Imset was the first pup to successfully answer his question. "Our beloved Adjetni's physical form is one to be feared,” She began, her eyes blazing with poignant, bold passion. “As he appears to us as a dark wolf, his body covered in curling cracks of burning lava and flame.” Correct so far. She’d earned a deft, brief dip of his head in approval. “Our Lord breathes his purifying fire upon us from his mouth, his head splitting into a duo if angered. He is truly magnificent.” Koga rocked back on birch haunches, well-pleased. Imset had been his best pupil in terms of studies, blessed with a mind capable of containing everything it ever heard. She was astutely clever, always the first to lead in prayer, always the one to recite the details of year-old prophecies, always the one to know what incantation would guide them throughout the day. No other pup displayed this interest. Anubis may have been destined to lead Ignasia, but Imset had been anointed to lead their revival. He could sense it, Adjetni’s holy anointing embedded within her fur. However, he wouldn’t praise her for knowing the bare minimum. The questions that lay ahead were true tests of faith. He would see f she could successfully manage. Varuna was next. He answered his question heedlessly, carelessly, and most importantly incorrectly. Koga bristled. Varuna, at this age, was aware of what powers he possessed, the blessings he bore being crafted in Adjetni’s image. Conceit had infused itself with his being, poisoning his mind and purveying the recklessness that ignorance brought. The minute the wrong answer left his lips was the instant he lashed his left paw, cuffing him on the side of his head. He reeled at his touch. “Unacceptable.” He firmly hissed. “You are the one that bears our lord’s flames in your fur. You are anointed. You of all wolves should know. Pay attention. If you know nothing, an anointing won’t save you. Think again, Varuna.”Anubis came next, a single line of gospel spilling from her lips. Koga flattened his fur in partial relief. Anubis knew. At the very least, the one destined to inherit his legacy knew her gospel well. While not quite like Imset’s devotion, (Anubis had always preferred the physical, the rituals, the fighting), she knew enough that her sister could guide her, bringing holy balance to what Koga sensed to be a budding secular outlook. He’d stamp such foolishness out of her, end it before it severed what he’d worked so hard to achieve, but for now, he’d let her be. She’d answered correctly. “Anubis, Imset,” he stated, calmly straightening his stance. “Step aside. Varuna, Ky, step forward. Make it quick.”Suddenly, by some brilliant miracle, Varuna was spared the full extent of Ky’s wrath. Adjetni was truly generous. “I hope I’m not interrupting something that is important.” A familiar voice filled the clearing, powerful and potent. “I have matters I’d like to discuss with you.” Instantly, the stiff, irritable stance he’d assumed loosened into leisure, calm in the presence of his closest ally. “Hello brother,” he greeted him, dipping his dappled head. “Speak of them. This is just training, nothing for you to be concerned with. Have you come to take your pick from Miyako’s litter? They’re still nursing, but she’ll be ready for breeding again soon enough. No harm in taking a look now.”“For starters, I would like you to meet my offspring.” Adramalach begun firmly. “Leyak and Aamon, this is Koga, the Alpha and Prophet of Ignasia.” Koga marveled at the sight. The pups were perfectly balanced, stainless white, pure black, partnered with eyes that matched the other’s fur. “Marvelous, Adramalach. Both destined for greatness.” Koga whispered reverently. “First on the agenda is about tonight. He had the brilliant idea of hosting a tournament,” Adra gestured to Beel. “As you are more than aware, his offspring have turned out to be lazy good for nothing brats. With your permission, I’d like to have your litter be pit against them in a battle to the death.” A battle to the death! Koga leaned forward, intrigued by the prospects it presented as Adramalach described how such a war would ensue. A chance for his children to make their first kill, a chance for them to shed the blood of infidels and taste their labor; it was near too good to pass up. “Anubis, Imset, Varuna, your day has come. You will shed your first blood tonight. Take the rest of the day for sparring and training. Make your first kills your most memorable. Thank you very much, Adramalach. I assure you such an opportunity won’t be wasted.” He gave a low, pleased laugh. “I do ask a favor. Allow them to strip the bodies for mementoes before setting the rest of the pack on them. A custom of ours.”“I also would like to discuss plans of gathering a new Salutary.” Adramalach stated, overlooking their Commons. “With Koa dead and Xalie gone, I presume that we need another.” He proceeded to discuss a possible Ferus raid, where Koga’s wolves could snatch up their salutary with none-the-wiser and secure a few prisoners for both packs. Predictable, in terms of plans, but logical. Ferus had certainly been no challenge during the first raid, and the second, if anything, would prove to be less so. “I’ve heard of this Ferus salutary before. Large, but nothing we can’t handle. He’ll be in your Salutary den by the next full moon. I could also cripple him. Make him more manageable that way. I’ve a request if we capture additional wolves to divide them evenly. I’m in desperate need of new blood. Revival, if you will. First pick is mine if it pleases you. And one final favor,” He breathed, staring thoughtfully into the abyss. “When Ferus is finally toppled, I and my kin wish to inherit the land, if you would permit such. Will that be all, Adramalach? We are ready and willing to fulfill whatever command you wish.”Tagged: Alpha Adramalech

The journey to the cultists’ common grounds was shorter than it had been in the Dry Woods. Such, Beel supposed, was the convenience of growing closer as allies. Koga greeted Adramalach warmer than Beel himself did at times, branding him brother. Whatever torments he was inflicting upon his poor litter subsided in the presence of his allies. How sad he wouldn’t receive a chance to witness such rumored cruelties, but perhaps that was for the best. After all, they’d much to discuss, and little time at their disposal. The tournament was tonight and the hunt for Ferus after. Adramalach dove straight into those matters, as expected, allowing him time with a far more favorable companion. "Beelie~” Ky’s veering, crackling voice sang, tantalizingly playful. “Going back to Ferus? Want to visit, yes, yes! Kill more of them. Destroy them. Together? Like pathetic Somnus Alphess and rest?” Beelzebub could’ve purred. Finding a companion that shared the same twisted sense of humor was so rare, so uncanny, but so utterly delightful. What a chance gift it was. He’d certainly no intentions of wasting it. Ky always had such marvelous ideas of “fun.” The Somnus Alphess for instance, and the blood they’d spilled subsequently. If he’d now another such plan in mind, Beel would certainly pay him full mind. However, today, he’d had the rare idea of his own. “Better, Ky.” He angled his one good eye towards him. “Better than Somnus, better than any of the other we’ve had. A hunt tonight during the tournaments, just you and me. Round up all the strays on the borders like deer and feast. Torture the old, decrepit, helpless. Kill the loud-mouths and big-talkers. Breed any good bitches if we can find them and enslave the studs. Bring home anyone like us. No Adramalach, no Koga, just us, where we indulge every desire, every whim, and wreak havoc. Purge our land of mediocrity and return bathed in its blood. Your thoughts?”

It was a delight to see Ky's frustration as she and Anubis answered their questions correctly, the unhinged male practically squirming as he watched each blessed child deliver their answers to their father. It was Varuna that doomed himself upon offering the wrong answer, the Beta's squeal of delight grating upon Imset's ears as she watched her brother receive a blunt collision of a paw to the back of his skull. A low and almost inaudible growl rumbled from her throat, she was disappointed in Varuna for being dumb enough to fail their father's simple quiz, but their mother had been wise enough to teach them the importance of protecting your family, and Imset wasn't about to let Ky beat her only brother into a complete pulp. Another figure was soon on the scene however, a great distraction for Ky and perhaps a gift of mercy from Adjetni as Varuna's punishment was abruptly cut short. Imset found herself gazing upon the Alpha of Mortiul and his brother, ignoring the monochromatic pups that followed them as she glanced momentarily towards her twin before approaching the pair to stand by her father's side as any respected prodigy should. A swift bow of her head was given to Adramalech and Beelzebub, wanting to maintain a level of respect between her family and their 'business partners', but it was the conversation held between the two Alphas that sparked excitement to ebb through her body in the form of adrenaline. A fight between her litter and Beelzebub's mistakes. A chance for her to spill her first blood, take her first life, earn her first trophy and prove herself to both packs as well as the omnipotent being that pushed a sense of urgency upon her. Adjetni would be proud to watch her kill to honour his name, and she was growing impatient as seconds passed by between the present and her gloriously bloody future. “Anubis, Imset, Varuna, your day has come. You will shed your first blood tonight. Take the rest of the day for sparring and training. Make your first kills your most memorable." Imset shifted on her paws as their father dismissed them, her carnelian eyes flashing as she turned to her sister who would no doubt be by her side as they moved away from the small meeting that was happening between the Alphas. "Do you think they'll put up much of a fight? Hopefully they won't be too easy to kill, I want a challenge," Imset commented as they made their way to the edge of the Commons to prepare sparring. -- Time Skip: Nightfall --Impatient paws sent Imset pacing back and forth from one side of the den to the other and back again. Grumbling under her breath, she watched with thirsty eyes every time she passed the entrance, watching as the soot-stained snow outside began to reflect the peachy hues of sunset until darkness began to settle upon Ignasia. She grumbled under her breath, waiting for her father to poke his head into the mouth of the den and bark at them to get ready to leave for the tournament. Imset had been busying herself with training all day, a few small cuts marking her flank thanks to attacks that she had been too slow to defend properly. But she had learnt from her few mistakes and was now confident that she would be able to end her opponents life with little trouble. Though now that she had nothing to do but wait for their father's call, she couldn't help but let her mind wander to the other wolf that she would be encountering upon her entrance into Mortiul. She hadn't seen Tiny since she had been claimed by Alphess Vivaldi, and Imset wondered how her little sister had been coping away from her family. Imset furrowed her brow. Tiny probably had her own den, and was probably given an amount of freedom within the pack, both things that Imset craved for herself. It would be strange to see her again, but she was glad that their first reuniting would be done under the circumstances of such a grand tournament. Apprentice Anubis Apprentice Varuna @koga Beta Ky
