What was this? The appearance of the Salutary amongst the conflict did nothing to soothe the seething child. The other litter, his pathetic cousins, were fools. Cass could see it already. His mother's harsh tone drew his attention away. Instantly, he shrunk back. The gaping chasm of his den offered shelter from her hate. She couldn't stand him. The voices were right. He was only a burden to her, another thing she had to deal with while she tried to run a pack. Her pack. His pack if he tried hard enough. If he could illustrate a coup later in life and destroy her leadership. Now, though, he sought shelter. The young pup didn't care that his brother or sister could still torment him within the voices' darkness. He'd ventured out for the first time, and now didn't see any point in ever doing it again. -Time skip: 4 months-Solitude did nothing to improve him. Within the pitch black of his own den, the voices swirled within his head and echoed off the walls. What Benjen had said yesterday, an innocent comment to his littermate, was stuck like glue within Cassiel. Like a piece of gristle that poisoned young flesh that only continued growing. Like a cancer. Benjen was plotting something against him, he could tell. The tepid air within his den reeked of his own breath and scent, suffocating his thoughts any further than that. He needed to escape. Pushing his shoulders past the portal between his den and the commons, Cassiel took a moment to adjust his eyes to the bright light. His den hadn't been fully dark, he'd just been unwilling to see the light. That seemed to be a recurring theme with his voices over the past months. They never angled towards good. Every ragged breath of the hunters, each passing conversation, every syllable that fell from his mother's lips, they stabbed him. Cassiel was poisoned, destroying himself from the inside out. Uriel didn't help. It was like she could see right through him - reading the script that his mind churned out day after day, hour after hour. He battled with his brain, knowing the difference between a comment and an assassination plot clear as day, but not able to convince his subconscious. Why? What curse had been placed upon him that he must suffer through this alone? Somnus was greener now. The explosion of colour had vanquished his chilled camouflage, leaving him all the more obvious to those around him. If only his outsides could be as green as his insides. His cousins had their perfect families. His Aunt and Uncle were so damn loving. Always protecting and fostering the growth of their children. Look how big and strong all six of them had gotten! All model members of Somnus while his own mother always held a glimpse of fear behind those mocha eyes whenever she looked at her children. Or was that all in his head? That was something Cassiel couldn't differentiate. It terrified him. He never wanted to make his own mother, so sweet and kind, afraid. Juxtaposed, she terrified him. The possibility of her disdain weighed down on him hardest. Could she hate him? Plot to excommunicate him from the pack as his voices urged him to do to her? Surely, it wasn't possible. Unless...Azrael. He could distract him. The ebony mass of bloodlust with three brain cells couldn't possibly allow his voices to continue their crusade. Stalking out of his den, Cassiel stretched each of his growing limbs. Height was something the young male had acquired plenty of in the past season, but he still didn't match up to his brother. The brute would always be larger and more intimidating than him. Both of them would always tower over their sister. So why did she have so much power over him? As the alabaster male approached, he heard the proposition of a game from his dimwitted brother. That could never mean anything good, but Cassiel was willing to allow anything to distract his overbearing mind. Benjen's presence outside of his own den instantly put him on high alert, but for now, the teenager would try to focus on this so-called 'game' his brother proposed. Pup Azrael Pup Arya

Nevermore’s head rested against the ground. The commons were still as busy as ever these days, and the blind she-wolf hardly had the ability to keep track of everything. She had spent most of her time with Corvidae and Murdoch, mostly Murdoch as Corvidae seemed enraptured with the Beta of the pack. Nevermore was fine with that, and Murdoch had not been too phased by her constant chattering. She was currently residing in her den that she had built rather close to his. The scent of herbs drifted from the entrance, and circled around her, filling her nostrils with all the wonderful smells she had acquired. She kept from flowers here and there, lavender and chamomile being one of the present herbs that she had littering her den. The smell was able to help her sleep, and kept her relaxed. She would offer it to others if they were having trouble sleeping. She knew that sometimes it didn’t work, but it was worth the effort, that much she was sure of. She brought herself to her paws, stretching as she shook herself, some leaves falling from her pelt. She trotted out into the commons, head cocking as she heard voices. Ocean and Azaelia were out, as well as their pups. She heard the ending of Ocean’s statement, they were leaving and would not be back for a time. She hoped that they would all be safe. Her mind then wandered to where Merida was. She was probably still in her den. Nevermore brought herself slowly over to the she-wolf’s den, following the scents that she had grown accustomed to. She came to the entrance, paw hitting the edge as she poked her nose inside. “You plan on waking up anytime soon sleepyhead?” She spoke with a happy yip, trying to prod the she-wolf from her den. Maybe Nevermore could accompany Merida on a trip through the territory today. Merida

| D R A C O A L P H A S O M N U SHis mate finally stirred from sleep, the warmth that he felt filling his heart to the brim as he looked down at the beauty that he could call his own. She mumbled a good morning to him, and with those simple words alone, he could keep himself in that den forever with her. Her voice was comforting, easing any worries that he had in the world. She calmed him whenever his anger got the better of him. Aelin was everything he had ever wanted, and had ever needed. He loved her, and he loved what they had brought into this world. Six bundles of joy that came from the love they shared. Each one having something different about them. He knew that the pack had finally woken up, and would all be busying themselves with something or another, and it would be time for them to do the same shortly. He gave Aelin a small whine as she spoke of leaving the den, knowing that they would have to, but he didn’t want to. This vulnerable, and more needy side to him was something that no one else would see. Only she would. As she pulled herself from the den, he too rose, finding himself following quickly behind her. The commons were slowly coming to life, many waking up. He saw that Ocean was leaving with his three children, Azaelia and Violet standing together. Daenerys had seemingly been talking to Zelda before she was pulled away by her father, and now the she-wolf was left alone. Cersei was at Jaime’s den, waiting for the young male to wake up. The two were very close, and seemingly departed from their siblings rather quickly to only seek out the company of each other. The only pups he could not spot of his, were Benjen and Oberyn. His eyes filled with worry as he saw Azrael and Cassiel with Arya, but he calmed himself. They wouldn’t do something, especially not with so many wolves around. He worried for all of his pups’ safety, but his eyes were kept on Arya as the two had approached her. That was when Benjen finally pulled himself from his den. Draco kept his ears and eyes locked onto them, although keeping his gaze from staring too long, knowing that they would not want to be watched or that would just rise some suspicion of their Uncle’s actions. Instead, Draco kept himself near the den, watching and waiting for others to appear.

The morning was beautiful. The sunrise showered the commons with it's loving orange glow. The softly blooming flowers splattered the commons with little splashes of colour that truly eluded to the new-coming spring. The scent that could only truly be described as green permeated the air, making every breath as fresh as the last. But none of this even stood a chance against the true beauty that he'd fallen for over the past season. She seemed to simply radiate compassion and love. Her eyes were deep pools of lavender that he could get lost in for days. Just like the flower, her eyes calmed his nerves. Her beauty wasn't simply on the outside, but through and through. His odd compulsions and rock chewing didn't seem to phase her. No one in Somnus mocked him for his OCD, but Violet didn't seem to care at all. He could see her worries and stress from being Beta of the pack. He wanted to be her lavender - one of her sources of peace, the wolf she could look to in times of trouble and find help. And now he could be. Over the past season, the pair of them had confessed their feelings, and become mates. And truly, she was the beauty of each and every day that he awoke to see. Crawling out of his den, Cori instantly swept his eyes around the commons in search of her. So far, the two had agreed to keep their relationship mostly secret. The oddly coloured male wasn't about to push his lovely mate past her comfort zone, so he'd let her set the pace when it came to letting others know about their love. He found her easily. It seemed like his mismatched eyes were magnets for her frame, always able to find her within seconds. A zing of adrenaline shot through him just seeing her. He wanted to go up to her, to greet her with the love that she deserved, but he couldn't. Not just yet. She watched over the pups of her closest friends, each and every one of the babies he'd assisted Murdoch in delivering into the world growing up healthy and strong. At least physically. Already he could see that his Alphess' litter were different from the rest. They didn't play like the others, or share the same affinity for learning. At least they tried, at that's all that Somnus as a whole could ask for. Aelin and Draco had surely produced the most rough and tumble six of the twelve. They seemed to stick in small groups of two or three, wandering around the commons and causing all the mischief expected for 6 month olds. For a moment, Cori's mind wandered to what he and Violet's pups would be like. Did she want pups? Would they have all of her beauty, and maybe his eyes? He could only hope that they didn't have to deal with the same compulsions he did, but he knew that within Somnus, they would face no prejudice. Absentmindedly, he turned his rosy stone over in his mouth. Once upon a time, it had come from a she-wolf, one of the first to fully accept and play along with his antics, on a beach. For the briefest of moments, he had thought that feelings were forming for the she-wolf, but it seemed that his and Kebechet's paths were not to stay aligned. No matter, now he had a garden with the most beautiful rose growing in it, and he wouldn't give it up for the world. Approaching this delicate flower of his, Cori resisted the urge to nuzzle her cheek like the two would when hidden by trees. Azaelia's presence was enough to ward him from such obvious affection. "Good morning," the Salutary Apprentice greeted the pair of she-wolves, mouthing 'love' to his mate just to be cheeky. His attention was sadly drawn from his mate by Azaelia's sagging posture. Now, Cori wasn't oblivious. Something was definitely wrong with one of the mothers of Somnus, but he just didn't know what. She and Ocean had a much deeper bond with Doc, and mostly talked to him if they needed anything to do with herbs. However, Cori could see her lethargy, and just couldn't leave her in such a state this early in the morning. Winking to Violet, the Apprentice zipped back into his den, nosing around the small collection of herbs he kept there. On his last trip to the lakeside, he had found a small patch of lotus growing. Curious, he had plucked a few of the emerging blossoms and brought them back to ask his mentor about if they were useful. Turns out, lotus was a good energizer. What a perfect remedy for Azaelia's sleepy nature this morning! With a small bundle of lotus safely pinched in his maw, the male returned to his mate's side. He gently placed the bundle before the previous Alphess, murmuring, "This is lotus. It's supposed to make you feel more awake. I thought you looked like you could use a bit of a morning starter." With a smile, he let the mother decide whether she wanted to eat the herbs he offered or not. Now, he could focus on the stunning beauty of his love and whatever plans she may have on this fine morning. Beta Violet Azaelia

Link always seemed to have a late start in the mornings. Though his parents had held him to high standards, the one thing he was not, was an early riser and he was more than happy to give that to Zelda. Golden eyes peeked out from heavy lids as he looked to the towering form of his father, the general, both massive paws at either side of his snout and his fur at the base of his neck spread as hot breath blew from the brutes mouth onto him. The pup stirred, slipping his back paws under him, shoving his rump into the air as his little body quivered as he stretched. His little maw opened wide as he let his tongue slip from inside of his mouth, curling up in a massive yawn, his needle-like ivories shining in the morning sunlight. An ebony tail swing over his head and his father, in his stoic fashion, did not mutter another word, yet he knew he was to follow him. A small huff fell from his maw as gilded eyes followed his trail for a moment, not wanting to get up, before rocking his weight to swing up onto all fours. Link looked to his sister, who had time to wake up and get settled and so was a little more ready for this little journey and as soon as he mentioned catching their own meal, he perked up as well. As Ocean said his goodbye to his mother, Link waited patiently for his turn, and as the brute turned away from the female, Link stepped up next to her, bigger than he was but still much smaller than she, he rubbed against her, softly, noticing her lack of ability to keep herself upright. It was a mere brush of fur and a quick lick to her shoulder before he spoke. "We'll be back, Ma." before moving away. Falling into step next to Zelda, Link padded along next to her, looking back for Midna as he did so, expecting to hear a snarky response in the process, but she was only speaking to Daenerys, likely spewing lies to get in her head. The little male rolled his eyes, shouting out a quick "C'mon, Midna." before following along in his father's paw-steps, just as he did when he was younger, only this time, it was for real. Daenerys looked towards Zelda, seeing that the she-wolf was pleasant enough when it came to her offering. Dany's violet eyes shifted momentarily to see that Cersei was awake bothering Jaime in her typical fashion. However, that's not what bothered Daenerys. It was the fact that Azrael and Cassiel had approached her little sister, Arya. Violet eyes were on them as they approached, wondering what their intentions were. As she watched them, Ocean approached Zelda, and she turned her head once more to the others as she watched Zelda depart without the meal Daenerys had offered her. That was when Midna approached. The she-wolf listened to what she said, not phased by her words. Daenerys could read others well enough to know that Zelda would never be a she-wolf to do that. Irritation sparked at the back of her mind, but she quickly pushed it away. Opting instead to turn away from the midnight wolf and focus her attention onto her father and mother that had come into the commons from their den finally. She was still surprised by the difference in height between her father and mother, but she wouldn't say anything. She knew that for some, height was a sensitive matter, and she wouldn't want to upset her mother in anyway. She noticed that her father was focused on the two that had approached Arya, Dany feeling a bit more comfortable now that she was not the only one worried. The dainty she-wolf carried herself over to her parents, coming to face her mother. "Were you going to do some scouting today? I would love to come with," she spoke. She was not familiar with the territory outside the commons and surrounding area. She had visited the other parts of the territory, but she hadn't taken any in depth notes on the different paths she could take, different landmarks and things similar to that. She waited for her mother's reply, tail flicking behind her as she waited patiently. Sentinel Aelin

It wasn't with the birds chirping in the trees that Jaime roused, nor the blinding rays of the sun as it peaked over the horizon. No. As with most mornings, even since he was a young pup, he heard the ever irritating voice of Cersei, an accompanying, annoying gnawing of his ear in order to get him to move. With a huff, Jaime scrunched his eyes tighter, raising a paw - bigger than it used to be but yet smaller than most of the older wolves in the pack - to swat half heartedly at the pest that was his sister. "Gr'off!" he muttered, shifting his weight to pull his ear from the ivory canines of his companion and to shift onto his other side, tucking his nose under his forepaw. Gilded eyes showed sleepily under his lids as he looked to the wall of his den. It wasn't new but newer, his first den outside of his parents and he made sure to make it as far away from them and as far away as Cersei would allow, after all, she was often the one bullheaded enough to bully him into doing to what she wanted. She had him wrapped around her paw.
Another heaving breath fell from his maw as he convinced himself she wouldn't leave him alone until he got up, and so he pushed off the den floor, sat upright and shook the dust that clung happily to his fur though it was hard to see as it blended with his honeyed brown hues. The pup smacked his mouth open and closed, it was dry from his long night of sleeping, his mouth hung open like a gaping chasm and his lack of water for those many hours it stayed like that. Looking back to Cersei, he scrunched his nose. "Alright, I'm up. Now what do you reckon we do?" he asked, disdain in his voice as his eyes looked across the commons to see who was out and about and what had happened while he was snoozing. Upon falling onto his eldest sister's pristine alabaster pelt his eyes narrowed, following Ocean as he instructed Dany's companion to follow him and a shadowy lupine replaced her. Almost immediately, Jaime brought himself to his paws, and they took him towards the pair, his tail flicking behind him to indicate Cersei should follow. Jaime knew Dany could take care of herself, she was always more than capable of fending off anything that stood in her way, but he still worried none the less. “Zelda always acts too good for others meals, she once told me she would never accept one from you or your littermates too,” The slime he was sure broiled within her dripped easily off her words, and though he knew Dany was smart not to listen to the words that came from that outcast's mouth, he still shouldered his way between them, his nose scrunched as if he smelled something horrid. "Don't you have better things to do like follow daddy?" Jaime chided, before sitting his rump down on the ground in front of Midna, excluding her from the group. And as the little midnight form slunk away, he looked back to Cersei and then to Dany. "What's with all these pups?" He sighed, mentioning not only Midna, but the one Arya found herself entangled with as well. Jaime kept a watchful eye, just as Draco did from afar, truly a son of the Alpha's.

'Gr'off!'her brothers voice rang through her snowy ears, pinning back with frustration as he turned away from her and pulled his ear from her canines, he was so endlessly stubborn, a trait they had all somewhat inherited, most likely from their father if she had to guess between their parents. "Jaime I know your den isn't more interesting than going on a hunt or wrestling our siblings." she stated factually, pulling herself out of the half of his den she had climbed into, turning an emerald gaze over toward where her elder sisters alabaster pelt sat, talking to one of the pups from another litter born around the same time they were. Snowy ears pinned back with annoyance, she did not care to know nor interact with any of them, they either seemed downright viscous or full of themselves, Cersei had no time for such attitudes nor did she care to entertain them. Following her brothers lead upon the flick of his tail, she padded after him fast enough to walk nearly beside him, giving a deep growl upon hearing Midna's words. 'Zelda always acts too good for others meals, she once told me she would never accept one from you or your littermates too," it was her litter that was being considered dirty? One from an alpha bloodline? What kind of poppy was this outcast chewing on to become that delusional? "I don't see any of her little litter doing anything useful for the pack, but if they wish to starve at least they'll do it of their own accord I suppose." Spoke the honey colored female, sitting beside her brother, rump facing Midna as she left to follow after her father, the only thing she was good at doing. She could care less about the black female whom she already considered an enemy for disrespecting her sister and their litter. "If you ask me." she said quietly to her brother and sister "We could do better on our own without troublemakers who despise us."

Make room for the things that add beauty to your life What a better way to start her morning than to Nevermore's colorful vocal tones? Before her eyes had the chance to open and adjust to the morning rays (and the apprentice) peering into her den, Merida was already smiling. Upon peeling her eyelids to see the jet figure, Merida felt a giggle surface in her chest. Nevermore's enthusiasm was always welcome. "Well, I wasn't planning on waking up until summer, but I could never miss a day with my favorite healer!" Merida pushed herself off of her grassy bed and tapped Nevermore's paw as she exited the mouth, giving her location to the blind apprentice. Merida didn't realize how tired she was until a big, strenuous yawn suddenly hit her. She felt her lips thin like elastic as she inhaled the entire universe, and bent downwards to raise her rump in the air and get a good stretch in her legs. "Ahhhh!"She smacked her tongue and lulled it over her dry nose as she steadily shaped herself straight. She took a moment to look around the commons as she did. Ocean and his pups were nowhere to be seen; perhaps he had finally taken them out for their examinations. Azaelia was... well, she wasn't really here either. She was never "here" anymore. A rock dropped in her stomach as the thought surfaced. In an attempt to shake the feeling, she shook her fur and approached Nevermore's side. "I need to move my legs," she began, an uncharacteristically melancholy tone shaping her words. "I'm going to go exploring. Want to come with? I could really use a keen sniffer like yours so I don't get lost!" Merida giggled and brushed Nevermore's shoulder as she left towards the east. She didn't at all know what was over there, but she knew she couldn't be here today. She had spent too many years trapped in one place to sit around all day. She didn't mind being at the disposal of others if it meant lending a helping hand, but she couldn't remember the last time she had simply enjoyed herself.

Time skip: 4 MonthsPhotons enlightened her ebony fur, expanding the warmth throughout the she-wolf's body. Amidst groans and yawns, Arya finally managed to open her eyes, although slowly and lazily. Night, come back please. She had learned a lot during the past few months, almost as much as she had grown. Her body was surely en-route to maturity, but despite all of this, mornings felt all the same: Awful. Color shone throughout the commons, greens, browns, reds. All different tones that were otherwise absent during the cold and boring winter that had just left the land. Aelin's daughter preferred it that way, color chaos beats plain white any day or night. Arya walked calmly out of her den, yawning for the last time that morning, taking a moment to appreciate her beautiful surroundings. All the colors, the differnt scents, her fellow packmates waking up. If this is what spring was about, then she sure loved it! "Arya," a raspy yet young voice called her name, the sound coming from right behind the she-wolf. Upon turning around, she realized it was one of her cousins, Azrael. A big and black male, with deep blood red eyes. The pup's yellow orbs opened wide at his sudden apparition, being caught off guard so early into the morning. "H-Hi there, cousin!," she muttered, clearly still startled from the scare. Arya knew they were family and that she should take care of everyone equally, but Azrael and most of Eureka's offspring always seemed kind of odd. But, as always, she shrugged off those thoughts as nothing but prejudice that she should avoid like the plague, and carried on. "Wanna play a game?" the male asked, at about the same time the she-wolf was able to see Cassiel coming towards them as well. A strange proposition, if she had to be honest. Games were not that common anymore between them, Arya was starting to think they had all grown out of that phase. But a bit of playing couldn't hurt anyone, right? "Sure thing, Az," she said, not that sure of what Azrael had in mind, or if Cassiel was aware or not. "What we playing? Tag? Hide and seek?" Pup Azrael Pup Cassiel

A Z A E L I A Former Somnus Alphess Corvidae's voice was like a skyscraping bell hitting the drum of her ear. As her eyes scurried to locate the source of the auditory attack, she took in some of the world surrounding her. The spring was astonishing, even when presented in mere peripherals. For a moment, Azaelia wondered how she had come to live, lead and love in such an abundantly beautiful place only to live so drained, too thin to cope with life's storms and help others with theirs. The distant memory of her grace flashed before her in a matter of seconds, and it was probably quite obvious that her tiredness required far more than sleep to remedy.
"Hi Corvidae," she muttered as reality bounced back. She looked down at the plant the apprentice had offered her, and a weary smile attempted to press her lips. She knew the plant well from her many adventures to the lake with Ocean in their early years in Somnus. Its soft scent brought back sensations she hadn't felt since then, and she felt her legs mobilizing, ready to trace the world with her love again. "Oh, my," she began, voice battling the extensive flow of air escaping her maw in a dreamy sigh. "Thank you, thank you."
"I'm taking them now. We will be back tomorrow morning, if not sooner," whispered the very source of her happiness. His embrace was... everything. She felt his heartbeat, his warmth, and his love all in the brief contact they shared. Azaelia dug her cheek into her mate's thick coat. Indeed, it was impossible to pull away.
"Keep our babies safe. And please, O, go easy on them," she chuckled.
"I love you Mommy." "We'll be back, Ma."
"I love you too, babies. Be safe." She licked the top of their heads before they eagerly ran off with Ocean. As their tiny figures became even tinier with distance, she grew more nervous than excited. Standing to her feet, Azaelia began barking across the terrain, knowing full well they may not have been listening. "Listen to your father! Don't stray too far! Don't talk to strangers!" Azaelia yelled, along with several other unnecessary, motherly warnings.
The mother sighed. In her heart, she knew they'd be safe, and she knew they needed to be away from their mother's comfort to become independent. "Thanks again, Cori," she said, dipping her head to the apprentice. She picked up the herb in her maw and began chewing as she pivoted towards the outskirts. She needed to distract herself, and the best way to do that was by putting herself to work.

General Red
Red walked into the clearing as most of the wolves began to move about. She was wide awake and had been for half the night. She spent most of her early mornings moving about the territory, familiarizing herself with each inch of her home. She had become extremely familiar with most of the places here, and enjoyed most of her time outside of the commons. Although, she was only a howl away if any of her superiors, or pack-mates, needed her.
She had caught the tail sight of Ocean and his three offspring leaving, meaning she was tied to Somnus grounds for the time being. Perhaps she'll busy herself with some of the pups, training sessions, or perhaps the Alphas had something else in mind. Azaelia was the next to leave, followed by Murdoch's and Vespen's forms. She looked to the pups that were out, some were Draco's and the others Eureka's. Perhaps some of each litter could be taken under her wing today and trained.
Approaching Eureka, she took place where Murdoch once stood. "Good morning," she greeted her friend with a cheery smile. Maybe perhaps she would enjoy her company more instead of training pups. Perhaps just bouncing ideas off her friend can also lead to a solution.
"I have a few ideas for the day," she began with a soft tone as she looked out into the commons. "Either take you out to have some adult time," she started, side eyeing her friend to see her reaction. "Or, take a few pups out for training with myself and perhaps another adult, Jolon or El I was thinking, what do you think?"
Red hoped that Eureka would take her approach and suggestions well. She hadn't interacted with Alphess a lot in recent months but she hoped to gain that spark of friendship back. Perhaps it was just the pups that had been in the way or perhaps there was more, but Red hoped Eureka would rely on her at some point.

Murdoch, Salutary of Somnus
D oc was in his usual place, under a nearby tree in the shade. His hip had grown worse with the new season, he thought the that with the world warming up around him would ease the dull ache but alas, it seemed to only grow worse. One day soon he would consider retiring, perhaps start moving Corvidae up to active Salutary and not just a mere apprentice. "Good morning, Murdoch," an aged ear flicked to the familiar voice. Looking upon the Alphess, a sense of fondness grew in his chest. He had been here when she was still an omega, if his memory served correctly. How she had grown and he honestly couldn't be prouder. He saw her look out into the awakening wolves with a beautiful expression of love. "And good morning to you," he spoke, his voice raspy with age. He coughed a bit, clearing his throat. "Sorry," he said softly, hoping he didn't interrupt her next words at all. "I have something to request of you, Azaelia's behavior has been concerning myself and the family for some time. I'd like you to sit with her today... see if there's anything you can do for her. It doesn't seem to be a product of age, to me." "I agree, I've been watching for a few months," he spoke gently, respecting that she wished to keep the conversation just between themselves. He looked out, towards the den of which they spoke. The mated pair was there, Ocean seeming to gather his pups from their own respective sleeping spots. He would have appreciated her mate being alongside her, help answer any questions that Azaelia couldn't produce answers to. But it seemed their conversation was not quite done. "And, Perhaps you can examine me today, too." Murdoch looked to Eureka and he could see the deep pain inside. How much her eyes still reflected his mothers. He had a few ideas of what could help her, hopefully an herb or two would help. But perhaps also, more simple things could help her instead. "Of course," he spoke softly, calmly. He gave her a reassuring smile and he finally moved to stand up. He let out a small groan as he stood, mouth pulling in slight effort. He flashed her an apologetic smile, "joints are freezing up nowadays," he said with a chuckle. "How age truly catches up to you." He spotted Azaelia leaving, and a certain albino following after. He let out a sigh, he would hope to wrangle another wolf that was closer to Azaelia than Vespen, although the young wolf was never in the way. He hoped that Azaelia would be comfortable with her presence. Before he left, he turned to Eureka once more. For a second he didn't know how to comfort her, physically. He was never one for physical affection or gestures, but he felt that she needed something. He moved forward into her space if she let him, and he gave her a small kiss to the forehead. "Everything will be alright," he spoke softly to her. He flashed another reassuring smile before following after the elder and omega. Exit to Outskirts

A look of concern flicked across Vespen's face as she saw Ocean take the pups away from the commons. She scrunched up her brow and rose to her feet, slowly sliding out of her den. The sun's early rays warmed her coat and for a moment she forgot her concern and soaked in the heat. Her head cocked slightly she listened to the soft rustle of leaves as a simple gust shook them. Rose eyes opened to spot her friend leave the commons. In a huff, she picked up her speed, determined to follow after the she-wolf and keep her company today. She picked up her speed and hoped to catch her before her destination, so it didn't look like she was stalking the she-wolf. Exit to OutskirtsAzaelia, you can decide if Vespen meets Azaelia on the way there or not.

Percy Paladin of Somnus w. notes.
Percy had woken with a long, wide, exhausted yawn. He was enjoying the warmer nights, even if they weren't much warmer, and spent most of his time watching the stars. He enjoyed the peacefulness and simplicity of Somnus. Not much had changed in the last few months, except for the growth of his nieces and nephew. He hoped that his sister and brother in-law will let him start sparring with them, and taking them out.
As he watched lazily from his den, he couldn't help but notice Ocean taking his family off somewhere. Was he going to visit the fabled sister pack? He always wanted to go, and seeing as he was also family, why not tag along. Without asking or announcing his departure, Percy rose from his den and started heading out. Moving to keep up, he was bolting to finally catch up the last one in line. He gave whoever it was a playful nip, before looking to Ocean with a playful and cocky grin.
"Hope ya don't mind the extra company?" However, Percy would not be deterred in coming with. He needed to escape Somnus for a little bit. While the peacefulness was nice after everything, Percy needed some sort of action. Something to do. Something of interest, or he might go insane and find skunks to chase into a den for a prank. He would not like to be banned from his sisters pack, but he was losing his mind with boredom. Only so much a wolf could live with doing the same thing day after day.
