| Solex was content, standing there watching Miyu sift through the territory for herbs. She had found a couple, his attention barely being on them however as he was lost in his own head. He wondered how many rogues had appeared at the borders, and if so how many of them were going to be staying in Ferus. Jay was not as tough as Thatcher, he had somewhat of a softer heart, although war had changed that. Solex knew that he had taken some of the pups with him, and he would kill the male should anything happen to the pups, especially since they were Semira’s. They were blood, and although he didn’t quite care for many of them, he still knew they were Semira’s babies, and she would be devastated should anything happen to them. He stopped momentarily, pressing himself against Aspen. He was close to becoming a parent himself, and he hoped that he wouldn’t fail. He had never been good with familial bonds, Semira being the only one that he had actually achieved that with out of his entire family. He could not remember his father and mother, nor would he care to. They had left so early in his life that they would be nothing to him either way.
He just hoped that his pups would not be raised the same way he was. He would keep him and Aspen there for as long as they needed them, and even after that, Solex knew that deep down, he would care for them after they had grown and moved out of his and Aspen’s lives to achieve their own goals. This had been the one thing that Solex had wanted to prevent Semira from delving into, but now he was head deep, and couldn’t pull himself out. Nor did he want to.
Solex’s ears flicked atop his head as he heard a stranger’s voice, and the all too familiar scent of blood rushed over him. What was it now? He turned around, annoyance placed on his face as silver eyes landed on the male that was obviously trespassing on Ferus territory. He acted as if he had every right to be there, and this caused Solex’s skin to crawl. Who did this wolf think he was? He listened to the oaken male as he spoke, Solex’s silver optics not leaving until he saw a she-wolf who he knew was going to be a hindrance to the pack the moment she’d stepped foot in the territory. Dawn. The she-wolf was bleeding from her neck, and her mouth had blood dripping from it as well. He could only guess what had been done to her. Solex’s trained eyes knew more than anything that this she-wolf was going to die no matter what. This wolf said that he would spare her, and the brute’s eyes only narrowed. Did he take Solex as a fool? The only way she would survive would be through sheer will alone. And even then, that would not be enough. Two of her vital areas has been injured, and he could only guess that this was just a tactic to scare him.
Just then, a scream erupted from where the wolves were, and his silver eyes widened as he watched a black male go after his niece. He watched as he stopped, Miyu escaping, which brought relief to Solex’s features. Solex turned himself to the oaken male once more, eyes hardened as he stared at him. “I have no clue what you expected, but that she-wolf is as good as dead. Any trained Salutary would know that,” He spoke, looking towards him with a glare. “If you’ve come to bargain for my life I’m going to have to rudely decline,” His tail flicked behind him, and Solex readied himself for a fight. He knew that these wolves were not going to take no as an answer. But the next actions he did not expect. Instead, he watched as the largest of the younger wolves went for Aspen. He was not quick enough however, his large size not helping at all as she swiftly took Aspen down. The sickening thud of her body sent panic through Solex’s as the she-wolf bit at his mate. He let out a snarl, but he knew that if he interfered right then and there, that the she-wolf would kill Aspen and his unborn pups.
He hardly had reacted to Dawn’s death. But this, this was too far. The black male wanted to pull that wretched she-wolf from her mate, but the sounds coming from the other direction caused Solex’s head to swivel, only to be met with something that he had never wanted to see. Terror written on his face, he watched as the black male who had stopped chasing Miyu was pulling her back, the body beneath him not holding the same life that it had just moments before. No. No, this couldn’t be happening. Solex watched as the male ripped into Miyu, tearing away at her flesh until she was almost unrecognizable.
Fear struck at the very core of Solex’s heart. He was supposed to protect Miyu. She had lost her eye, and now she had lost her life. How was he ever going to face Semira? Solex went to speak, but nothing came out. He had failed. Not only Miyu, but Semira. He had failed the ones he loved, and that had defeated the male entirely. The wolves in front of him knew how to play their cards right, and they had done so perfectly. Dawn had been nothing more than a packmate, someone he had not cared about. She could have died to them on the borders and he would not bat an eye. But they had taken the life of his beloved niece before it was time. He looked towards the oaken male, not wanting to place silver eyes on the mutilated corpse anymore, and lowered himself from his defensive position. “We’ll do as you command,” He spoke, looking towards Aspen. “But if any harm comes to her, I will not hesitate to snap your necks, or die trying,” He growled, looking towards the ground, knowing that Aspen would probably be ashamed of him for what he had just said. But he couldn’t lose her. He’d lose himself if he did.

| H I M Notes: IF YOU DO NOT LIKE GORE, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU | LE A D
| She had come back. Oh, the poor little idiot. Perhaps somewhere in her mind, she believed that she could save them. He would never let some girl ruin the plan that had been in place for months. As His willing vessel, Ky wanted nothing more than to ensure that the bloated bitch and the herbal wolf would be transported nicely back to their ash coated home. That meant no loose strings. His spawn had already incapacitated their target; her soon-to-be corpse wheezed as a tantalizing treat for the Beta. But he wanted his own prize. For so long the midnight brute had stayed obedient and abstinent to large quantities of his poison. The last time metallic crimson had treated him was the disposal of Beelie's garbage. But now, now Ky had the chance to play once again.
She hadn't quite reached them yet, but pitch-black eyes watched as she limped back to the crime scene. Ky wasn't going to let her interfere. The male knew of His strategies and beautiful manipulation. The leverage that this child, this cretin that accompanied their targets, held was magnificent. But she was much more useful to them dead than alive. Ky was honored, no, delighted, to make that happen. Swerving across the sandy landscape, the Beta let his jaws hang open and pant, leaving a trail of sprayed spit in his wake. He watched the girl's struggling face turn to horror as his pace increased towards her.
All she had was a babyish scratch on her flank. Her blood had only given him a sampling when, in fact, he deserved a feast. And Ky was going to take it. She was young, and for a pup in a pack revered for fighting, woefully weak. She wouldn't provide much fun, not at all! She back-pedalled, trying to escape the beast that had already injured her, but it was no use. Ky straightened out his gait, bursting into a sprint towards the limping bitch and slamming into her fully.
The Beta chucked his shoulder into her torso, sending her to the ground. A squeal of delight left the Beta as he rounded her fallen frame. Her scream out for her family fell on deaf ears as Ky latched his fangs into the back of her skull. Vigorously, he shook his head back and forth. Her skin split, her blood spilled, and her spinal cord, much too quickly for Ky's liking, snapped. Instantly, her body fell limp while her mouth continued to wail and beg for mercy. Its sound was almost as annoying as his screaming cackles, one of which bubbled out of his system as he stood over her incapacitated frame. He wouldn't kill her just yet. No, no, no, that would be saved for when she was back in His presence. So that her packmates, maybe even her family, could watch her die.
Reattaching his jaws to her scruff, he hauled her limp form back to Him. She was his prize, Ky's reward for all of his patience. He stood valiantly over her corpse, like a cat presenting its owner with a dead rat. As if saying, "Look! I killed this for you~!" But she wasn't dead yet. Her gurgling groans still grated on his eardrums. Staring directly at the Salutary - the herbal wolf was already staring concerned at the teenager - Ky mercilessly tore out her throat. At last, her silence was his opera; a soundtrack that paired delightfully with the picturesque spray of blood that painted his face.
Ky was unleashed. For so long, He had held him back, withholding the only method of sating Ky's craze. Building the pressure within his brain until he could take no more. Released. Not even His word could stop him now. His jaws tore at her throat, ripping it into shreds. In his frenzy, he reached her neck vertebrae, exposing the blood-soaked bones before his focus finally changed. His claws tore into her underbelly, splitting the skin open and spilling her intestines onto the sand. Jaws, finally, clamped down once again onto the flank he had only grazed before, tearing off most of the muscle off of her tiny frame in one fell swoop. Animalistically, he tore apart the flesh, staining his scarred and ripped face with blood as he consumed his prize.
Ky could care less about skinning her like His daughters did to their prizes. Varuna however, had decapitated Beelie's trash. What better decoration than a skull? With his meal finished, and his craze slowly wearing off, Ky began the laborious task of taking the young she-wolf's head. He had already done most of the work as he tore out her throat, but he still needed to work from the back as well. Negotiations seemed to turn in His favor, causing a gleeful whine from the crazed male as he successfully ripped off the teen's head. It was still covered in skin and blood and brains, but he would happily clean it off on their journey back home. That would be absolutely delightful to torture them with. To slowly clean more and more flesh off the head until it was a mere anonymous skull, nameless to all, faceless to all, only used as a play toy for a deranged Beta.

This pregnancy thing had better be worth it. She didn't even like kids! When Solex's nieces and nephews were babies they were the bane of her existence. But now, she harboured her own brood of wriggling bodies. Maybe, hopefully, she could tolerate them. Deep down, the ornery hunter already knew that she loved each and every one of them just as much as she loved her mate. Was she about to admit that? No. The trio of wolves, like some sort of fuzzy oreo, wandered the western borders. Aspen hardly knew anything about plants, but Solex's mentorship of Miyu would surely allow for him to have a good successor once his back finally gave out on him. For a young wolf, he was definitely as creaky as an elder. Resting her paws near the log Solex found, she wrinkled her nose at the writhing of her pups creating odd sensations against her stomach. Her mate's momentary absence was made up for by the body of a quail slamming into the sand before her. Squinting at her mate, she let out a frustrated huff before digging into the meal. Her pregnancy had rendered her almost useless, and she hated the feeling of needing to be catered for. She was in Ferus for fuck's sake, not Lubrusca. Before she could finish off the small portion of quail that she could stomach, a plethora of foreign scents smacked her square in the face. They struck a chord of dread within her of deeply rooted familiarity. These wolves had been here before. Aspen and Solex had smelled them before. Kurumi, Tenshi, Oshim, and Sakia had been their targets last time, and Aspen knew how three out of four of those encounters ended up. Whether or not Sakia was even alive was a mystery, but Aspen could honestly care less. She was a brat, and probably better off with the other three that they had found. But now they were on Ferus borders again, with more wolves and their eyes firmly set on the trio. “I’m quite disappointed, to be frank,” the evident leader of this little shindig began, “I thought it would pose a much greater challenge than this. Never mind that though. You are the salutary of Ferus, yes? And this must be your mate.” As his attention turned to her, Aspen raised her hackles, tail rising and teeth bared towards the obvious hostiles. “Lovely girl you’ve got there. Don’t worry; I’ll make these matters quick. I’ve been instructed to bring the two of you back to my land at all costs. Rather than delve into dry back-and-forth drivel, I’ve decided to make your decision a delightfully simple one. She will be executed in minutes, but not to worry. Her life can still be won back with your cooperation. The decision’s yours.” Dawn, that blithering fool, was bloodied and silenced under the bodies of two she-wolves, both of them definitely under a year old. That fool had never been much use to Ferus. All she really did was talk to Azazel and take up space. Aspen didn't resist the urge to roll her eyes at the thought of sacrificing her own safety, and her pups safety, for someone as measly as Dawn. It was Solex that they were after, and Aspen would be damned if she didn't stay to fight by her mate's side. Miyu seemed to have another agenda. Better one of them ran to the commons and raised the alarm that needing someone like Flint to drag a half-dead body back to the commons without a Salutary. “I have no clue what you expected, but that she-wolf is as good as dead. Any trained Salutary would know that. If you’ve come to bargain for my life I’m going to have to rudely decline,” the angered voice of her mate spat back at the intruders, echoing the sentiment that Aspen had held the whole time. Dawn's death was nothing that would affect Ferus all that badly. One less mouth to feed. One of the other yearlings, a bitch much bigger than her companions, bolted towards her. Taking a defensive stance over her pregnant abdomen, Aspen collided head-on with the teen, her head ducking under the other's in an attempt to throw her off balance. However, Aspen ended up on the ground, her back colliding harder than she would have liked with the sand while her growls and snaps fell short of reaching the brute's frame. She was all too aware of her vulnerability. Belly up, the lives of her pups were inches from death if the obviously psychotic she-wolf pinning her to the ground decided it was so. The strongest maternal instinct Aspen had ever experienced coursed through her veins, her growling and snapping never ceasing as she tried to break free. “Silence. Filthy vessel. Must you insist on producing more damned? Shut up. For the love of all that is good and holy, shut your yapping maw. And if you’ve even so much as a single inkling of what is good for you and your bastards, you will stop resisting and humbly accept the fate you and your mate have afflicted on yourselves,” the feeling of the bitch's tail along her stomach was the only thing that forced Aspen into an aggravated silence. She was willing to sacrifice her own life for her children, but that sentiment didn't exactly work well in practice when they weren't born yet. Her solitary mint eye stayed locked on the bitch above her until a scream echoed across the borders. It was Miyu. Unmistakably. The only child of Solex's sister that she could actually tolerate was limp in the jaws of a brute unlike any other. His stench of death was the same one that had covered the borders at the scene of Kurumi and Tenshi. She had seen his handiwork before, and she knew that she was about to see it first hand now. "No!" a choked scream left Aspen as the beast began his mutilation. She only looked for a second, not wanting to see her niece torn to shreds. Any longer and her nightmares would've been plagued with the scene. Instead, she locked her eye onto Solex, trying to brainstorm a way to somehow get themselves out of this mess. “We’ll do as you command,” was the last thing she expected to hear out of her mate's mouth. A roaring growl left the downed hunter, her tail thrashing from the sheer amount of rage that flooded her body. Solex was no coward, why now was he conceding to someone else's demands? He barely listened to Jay as it was, but this stranger could waltz upon them and within minutes break him to the point of abandoning all morals. It was bullshit, and Aspen was just about ready to kill each and every wolf still standing, Solex included. She didn't need this shit. “But if any harm comes to her, I will not hesitate to snap your necks, or die trying,” he growled out, sopping up some of the anger she felt. This wasn't a submission, it was a desperate attempt to save all of the Ferus lives remaining at the borders. In better circumstances, it would have almost been romantic. But currently - splayed on her back with her unborn children vulnerable to a stranger's claws, her niece quite literally being decapitated, and wolves smelling of death claiming that some unknown lands needed her mate - she was pretty fucking pissed. @koga Salutary Solex @tiny Apprentice Imset Apprentice Anubis

The reaction of their targets only reinforced the idea that pack wolves were inherently vile. Ferus wolves had always had a reputation for being fiercely callous to everyone and everything they encountered, but even so, he hadn’t expected them to apply this attitude to one of their own. It was practically the picture of pity — a dappled corpse dangling limply from Imset’s jaws, gagging pathetically as she attempted to force down breath. Entirely defenseless, utterly helpless, and the two regarded her with the deepest, boldest disdain he’d ever witnessed. “I have no clue what you expected,” The salutary growled, oblivious to the terrors he’d now subjected himself to. Ferus was so wonderfully conceited! “That she-wolf is as good as dead. Any trained Salutary would know that.” Koga lowered his gaze to their captive’s eyes, which had just begun to blur and cloud. A well-aimed kick fixed that, eliciting a shallow, pained gasp. “If you’ve come to bargain for my life,” He quipped, haughty as he’d always been. “I’m going to have to rudely decline.” Koga tsk-ed, languidly easing a pace forwards as Imset and Anubis dug in. “You give yourself too much value, Salutary.” He quipped, his voice smooth and playful even as his gaze hardened. “It won’t be your life you’ll be bargaining for.” A scream arouse in the distance. The corners of an onyx maw curled into a callous grin. So it was the girl they loved — how very interesting! A soft hum simmered in his throat as their captives watched on, waiting for the inevitable. It’d been too long since his most treasured disciple had decadently feasted. There were the customary snaps, snarls thrashing brush leaves, but what he found most remarkably memorable was the incessant pitch the pup was holding; a streamlined anguished scream that lasted for one fantastic eternity before finally breaking, as if abruptly strangled. He saw the swaying corpse emerge first. It was a miracle she hadn’t been decapitated with the way Ky gripped her, fierce white fangs skewered in either side of her neck. Ky looked at him, presenting him with his offering reverently, humbly asking for a final blessing. It was granted; a nip on the most torn part of his onyx ears. Then, they screamed, then they gagged, then they showed palpable signs of distress — to think, all it took was a simple beheading. Predictable, and nothing short of what he’d grown to expect from Ferus; it only ever mattered when it affected them. How absolutely typical of Ferus infidels. “We’ll do as you command,” The Salutary began, suddenly realizing the danger that he and his kin were placed in. “But if any harm comes to her, I will not hesitate to snap your necks, or die trying.” He arched a brow inquisitively. With all that had transpired, he would have thought the Salutary would’ve realized he was in no position to threaten. “Life for a life,” He mused, circling the male. “How noble of you — but you’re failing to consider something vital.” He shifted his attentions towards Tiny’s thrashing target — for being heavily pregnant, she remained quite spirited. They’d have to stamp that out of her promptly. “How charming,” He purred, eyeing the plump crest of her stomach. “You’ll give your life for hers,” He paused, garnet eyes gleaming with delight. “How will you assure their safety? My brother has never been all too fond of children, and with your attitude,” He addressed the enraged mother-to-be. “He’ll be even less inclined. Your priorities are misaligned — you, quite frankly, are in no position to be bargaining. Enter Mortiul snarling and snapping, and see how quickly you’ll be sorted out. And if you think that you can bear it, that you and you alone are capable of tolerating what we have in store, you’re tragically mistaken.” “Your children will be born in Mortiul, automatic members of our pack. Should you continue to put up these airs, my brother will ensure your children are stripped away the moment they’re born. They’ll be nursed by my nanny, alongside her and her mate’s litter, and will be raised in our gospel. They won’t know of you, your mate, or Ferus. They won’t even be told your name.” He cautioned her, meeting her monocular gaze. “They will fight for our truth, spread our gospel, and bear us warriors for years to come. If you are so lucky as to bear another litter afterwards, those pups will be taken as well, until you’ve submitted yourself wholly and fully to your new master: Adramalach. He and I do not desire cooperation. We demand submission. That is the only way in which you will keep your pups, your health, and each other. Fulfill every task he demands of you. Regard him reverently. Don’t speak out of turn, and never be so bold as to even curl your lip at him in anger — you will not appreciate the consequences that follow. Consider yourselves lucky. Most don’t receive a warning. They just suffer the punishments.” “I want you to submit to me,” He purred, pressing himself closer towards the Salutary. “The way an omega would — paws up, tail tucked, belly exposed. Humble yourself. It all begins with acknowledging you are no longer yours. Once you’ve decided, we will be off.” Exit to: Mortiul Commons Apprentice Anubis Apprentice Imset Apprentice Varuna Salutary Solex Hunter Aspen

Lali was standing next to Priya, taking comfort in her older sister’s presence. The young she-wolf was nothing short of content with her siblings, but being in foreign lands, she knew that she couldn’t quite be as happy as she normally would be. Ferus had always been rumored to them by their mother as a tough pack, having no wolves that were welcoming to those that were happy and optimistic like she was. But that would not stop Lali from being the she-wolf she was. She would be happy no matter what they thought of her. She listened to the black male as he spoke of his father - presumably the Alpha - knowing more about their father, and she could only guess that their father had not visited Ferus lands in awhile. She wondered where he had gone. Flint had not stayed with their mother during their birth, and they hadn’t seen the male in six months. Worry did not bring itself to the forefront of her brain. Instead, she brought herself to think of what adventures her father could be witnessing. He was probably off exploring the world! Maybe he was bringing back wolves that were lucky enough to stumble upon him, and give them a better purpose in life by being in Ferus. As the ideas of what Flint was doing coursed through her brain, she came back to the world as her sister was following the two siblings into the territory. Her head turned towards Nivaan, seeing that her brother was following along. She looked towards Jirou and Nikolai, knowing that the two would soon follow. She fell back to Nikolai’s side, brushing up against him as she gave him a small nudge of affection. “I wonder if we’ll meet some cool wolves here!” She exclaimed, her happiness bubbling over as she kept at her brother’s side, and headed into the territory with him once he was ready to follow -Exit to Ferus Commons- @nikolai Pup Jirou Nivaan @priya Hunter Natsu Scout Iylah

Nivaan’s attention was taken from the she-wolf that he was looking at momentarily to look towards Lali. She was as spirited as always. Not seeing the harm in being at these borders. Although Nivaan wanted to share her optimism, he knew that there was something lurking underneath the surface. He couldn’t tell what that was quite yet, but with how these two acted in front of him, there was already a vast different from them and his mother. They had encountered wolves along the way that had pointed them in this direction, but most of them feared the name Ferus. He wanted to know exactly why that was. And with what this male was saying, there would be time for that. They would get at least a snippet of what this pack was like, even if they were sent away because their father no longer resided here. From what he could tell, since these wolves were as old as he, and they had not heard of his father, that his father had been absent from the territory for a long time. His mother had never spoken of that, she had kept most of the information about their father quiet, except for when she would tell stories from when they had met. She had always danced around the fact that she was not in Lubrusca, and why she wasn’t. She danced around the topic of their father not being there with them, and he could not fathom why. But that was simply Nivaan’s mind reading too much into some things, he supposed. His mother had a reason for keeping her secrets, and since she was no longer here for them to press on why she did, he would have to find them out for himself. Lali moved to Nikolai’s side, and Nivaan was quick to follow behind Priya, although bringing himself to walk a bit closer to the Ferus she-wolf that had caught his eye. He was sure if he were caught any closer by her brother, that he would lose an eye, or an ear. -Exit to Ferus Commons- Lali @nikolai @priya Pup Jirou Hunter Natsu Scout Iylah

Jirou flicked an ear in concern as the two wolves seemed to have only a vague idea of who there father was. But this proved one thing, their mother wasn't lying. As the group moved out, Lali pepped up as always gave him some comfort. Although, a new concern set in. Looking to Priya he eyed her to see if he could read her thoughts. Moving to her side as the walked towards the commons, to meet the Alpha, he dropped his head to her ear, talking softly. "They're only older by a few months," he spoke of his observations to see if she agreed. Even going into a pack, even if the joined, his loyalties first lied in his siblings safety. He wasn't sure if they were safe yet, and no sure if they all were staying. "But they only seem to have heard of Flint, meaning," he spoke his theory lightly, "he left before he knew that our mother was pregnant most likely," he said, slight hope there. Maybe his father wasn't a piece of shit like he originally thought. "But, I'm worried why," he eyed her from the side, his mouth pulling into a frown. "Perhaps he was kicked out quietly? Or died?" Although the last one his whispered in a hiss, he didn't want to admit that was a possibility but, he would to Priya. He would listen to her own evaluation with a close ear as they moved to the commons. Exit to Commons Nivaan Lali @nikolai @priya Hunter Natsu Scout Iylah

After she had pulled Dawn’s vocal chords from her body, and sliced the tongue from her mouth, the she-wolf was rendered useless for any sort of noise. She was slowly bleeding out, which only encouraged Anubis to lick at the wound that was dripping with the sanguine liquid. Their father was pleased with what he saw at least. Anubis didn’t have the mind to listen to what he said. Talking had been more of Imset’s forte than hers. So instead, she kept her eyes on the wolves below, making sure that they wouldn’t move from the spot they were currently in. They seemed content, like everything was right with the world. If these wolves had worshipped Adjetni, it would be. But they did not, and so their lives were miserable, and shrouded with uncertainty. Whereas hers and her packs were kept in the light of the blazing flames that Adjetni bestowed upon the land to talk to them. She had never gotten a vision of Adjetni himself, that had been something Anubis lacked from her father, and it seemed her sister was the same as him. If jealousy were something Anubis knew of, she would have been jealous of her twin sister. But she wasn’t. She didn’t have the capacity to be. As vermillion eyes trained on the wolves, her ears perked as she heard her name fall from her father’s maw, heading turning once more towards him as she listened in on what he had to say. She would be standing in the shadows, waiting for the deal to be made, or if it would fall through. She looked to the female that was slowly dying at Imset’s feet, and gave her neck one more lick, savoring the taste of blood clinging to her taste buds as she walked away, taking up position where her father had commanded her to. She waited patiently, inching forward ever so slightly as her father droned on to the group of three that had the misfortune of being their targets. Her father droned on, but it seemed as if the wolves were disinterested in the target they had captured. How irritating. Anubis would not care for a sniveling whelp, but she knew her father was hoping for a reaction from them at the very least. The black male spoke declining their offer, she gave a small nod of her head before she came rushing towards her sister, jolting forward to the bleeding corpse as she ripped into the body head on, spilling the she-wolf’s guts quickly. Pulling her intestine from her body, she yanked it, pulling it until it popped from its place, spilling everywhere out the ground, a mixture of blood as well. As she had already ripped open the she-wolf’s stomach, she bit into the sacks that were her lungs, ripping them to pieces as the she-wolf died from lack of oxygen. The heart was momentarily still beating, enough for Anubis to grasp it in her maw, before crushing it. There was no longer life in the she-wolf, and the smell of death clung in the air as she looked towards the other wolves, Dawn’s heart still within her maw as she watched Tiny barate the pregnant she-wolf. But it wasn’t that, that cause the black male to give. No, it was the sight of the small apprentice being torn apart by Ky that broke him. Who would have known that seeing a pup that wasn’t his being killed would have so much affect on him compared to his mate and unborn pups being possibly injured. He gave into her father’s commands, and with that, her father went forward, talking once more before they were to set off. Anubis looked towards her sister, dropping the heart in front of her before trotting off to gather the tongue that she had severed from the she-wolf’s maw. She would keep that as her prize, knowing that she would preserve it in her den until it decomposed. Then she would have to find another prize to replace it. She kept in line with the black male, knowing that if he tried anything, she would be right there to stop him. She almost wanted him to try something, just so she could sink her teeth into another wolf. -Exit- @koga Beta Ky Apprentice Imset Apprentice Varuna Salutary Solex Hunter Aspen | 735 words

So much effort had been put into the capture and mutilation of the bitch that writhed at her paws. Imset's brow was furrowed against burning eyes as she stared daggers at the stubborn pair, a growl resonating at the back of her throat while she elected to ignore the drawling melodramatic words of her father. Though Imset couldn't deny she could spout the same amount of silvery bullshit on a good day, this comparison to her father left a sickening feeling bubbling at the back of her throat. The she-wolf had spiralled into such a bad mood that she could've snapped at her sister for tearing through such a perfectly good pelt, not even taking a second to reveal in the beautiful way her sister managed to make those lungs pop like balloons as she began shifting her weight from paw to paw. Adjetni tortured her further as Ky had the absolute insane pleasure of ripping through the youngling that had no place in their plans, though Imset would've liked to take the little wench as her own slave, yet now she would have to settle for perhaps getting dibs on one of the white bitch's pups as the horrifying sight of the youngling being brutally murdered seemed to sway them towards the sensibility that was offered in her father's deal. Despite the success found in their mission, Imset grumbled as she approached the carcass of their hostage, deciding that such a beautiful pelt shouldn't have to go to waste despite the disturbing amount of blood stains. She couldn't deny the thought of Leyak crossing her mind as she began peeling away the pelt from the body, figuring that it would be rude for her to return from such an 'exciting' trip with nothing to show for it. Of course, this wasn't Imset's first skinning, and she managed to make quick yet neat work of the reddish pelt, quickly slinging the heap of fur over her shoulders as their group began to move toward the mountains. Red eyes searched for her sister's side, and found her approaching with a heart clutched lovingly between crimson jaws before placing it at Imset's paws. The girl smirked. She took it as a wordless apology for ruin a part of the prized pelt, and took the heart between her own jaws before silently following along beside her twin, eager to return to their ashy mountain paradise.

Varuna had not spoken, his voice had been caught in his chest. This female walked like she owned the place and she was only older than him by a few months. She did it differently than his sisters, less pompous, less of a bitch. Although, she quickly grew impatient with his lack of communication. Understandable.
"You’ve got some nerve on you, I’ll give you that." Well, she wasn't wrong. He did have some nerves, and some lack of morals. Here he was distracting her. While his family kidnapped, and by now possibly murdered, her pack-mates, possibly even her family. His time was running out, he only wanted her name at this point. Something about her spoke life outside of what he knew, and that fascinated him.
Then there was moment for their eyes to meet and he knew that what his family was about to do would ruin her. His throat closed and for a moment he wanted to run to her like a pup and cry, beg for her forgiveness and take him away. But he knew that while she may have been only a little older than himself, that she would not be ready for that. So for now, he would simply hide his true self away, and become who his family wanted of him. Just for today at least.
"I'm Varuna," he spoke, he tried to measure his voice so it sounded more adult, more mature. She seemed to be enthralled in him, similar to how sometimes Maleah looks to Cayden, or his own mom to his dad. Sometimes just the star struck look they have when they look at their mates. He wondered if he had worn the same expression by looking at her.
"I was, simply checking the borders out, was interested in pack life," he stated, without her asking. "But I don't think this pack will suit me," but before he she could say much to that, he ended with a cheeky grin, "at least, not right now."
He approached her, if she let him. "I'll be back, in the future, look for me on the borders," he stated softly, eyes looking to her in earnest and in genuine interest. "I found something I want to come back for," he flashed one more charming grin before turning and moving away.
He would flash one more smile over his shoulder before moving into a run and off the Ferus borders and towards home. He would not go back to where his family was, he didn't want his scent to be clouded where their evil deeds were at. He didn't want her to know he was apart of them. Just a random, rogue pup that was here for a bit before leaving.

Her sisters had already gone to town on the body. Brindled ears barely flicked towards the sound. There was a time when the wrench would’ve chilled her to her core, when the cry alone could’ve curled her hackles and sanded her mouth. Now, it was simply a sound. A puff of breath, a faltering, airy twitch of jaws — perhaps it was best now that she viewed it this way. As fang gritted against bones, hewing through hide, she thought back to the moment when she had first realized what her sisters were capable of: the tournament. There her siblings had been truly born, assuming the forms their parents always desired they would. It was the first time Anubis’s bloodlust had been fully sated, the first time Imset recognized the true art of her craft, the first time Varuna had proven his strength. She had watched from the sidelines, pressed into Mama’s puce mane as they ascended to adulthood right before her eyes while she remained little more than a child. She envied them so; although it was sinfully vile, she dreamt of severing her service ties to Adramalach and fighting along their side. Perhaps then she could somehow manage to make Mamma, Mother, Father proud to call her their own. Such a desire required strength. She bore plenty. She didn’t flinch as Anubis fished amongst the captive’s entrails. She didn’t tremble as Ky tore through the brush after a small ashen apprentice just about their age, jaws snapping. She didn’t so much as bat an eye at the scream that ensued, or the gaudy, horrified gasp her pinned hostage gave. “Now it matters,” She hissed softly at her, her face contorting into a sharp, hideous snarl. “Selfish to the very end. Did you never even consider,” She spat, jerking her head towards the place where her sisters had begun feasting. “That somebody might have loved her too?” The she-wolf’s thrashing had yet to cease, intensifying as she spoke. She hadn’t stopped that infernal snapping either, or the soft, rumbling snarls reverberating from her frosted chest. Why bother? There was no chance for an escape, and even if she were somehow able, she could never outrun her. Tiny responded with a warning snap of her own, sinking her powerful hindclaws into her belly ever so very slightly, just enough to draw one drop of blood. If she’d even so much as an inkling of sense, she’d take her warning happily. She was simply lucky that she hadn’t been assigned to Anubis and Imset instead of her. Her father had made quick work of the male, who’d sealed their fates with a simple, “We’ll do as you command.” Tiny watched as her siblings near seamlessly fell into position, clearing the corpses for a few treasured souvenirs. It’d never suited her personally, hunting through the corpses, but it did seem to please Imset and Anubis enough. Tentatively, she took the brunt of her weight off her prisoner and allowed her room to rise as she circled her closely, watching for the faintest sign of resistance. A curled angered lip, arched hackles even — regardless of what she did, Tiny was ready to retaliate. Hopefully she would finally catch on by the time she made it to her new home. The male finally seemed to see her — he’d been looking at her previously, but this was the first time he’d seen her. Now that was more like it! For once, she allowed herself a smile; a tiny, coy twitch of her mouth as she watched on. "I'm Varuna,” He said simply, straightening himself in the way Natsu did whenever he wanted to seem more mature. Odd — whenever her brother had done it, it had always pissed her off. Here, she found it fantastically endearing. Varuna, his name was. It was lovely, exotic. Although she’d never been beyond the Ferus borders, she felt certain, positive that Varuna was from a land far beyond her own. She felt for a moment a fleeting, adamant sense of joy. Perhaps there was more than sand dunes and thorny lizards! "I was simply checking the borders out,” He stated, his tone open, frank, carefree. “Was interested in pack life." Perhaps she should warn him. Ferus life would never suit the free-spirited. "But I don't think this pack will suit me." ‘Excellent,’ she wanted to say. ‘Run as far as you can Varuna.’ Good that he’d saved her the trouble of doing so — but even so, part of her wanted to beg him to stay. "At least not right now."Oh? Oh! Her ears happily perked, intrigued at that prospect. "I'll be back, in the future; look for me on the borders," He urged her, his eyes clear and earnest. “I would like that,” She added swiftly, cocking her copper head playfully. “My name’s Aislynn.” "I found something I want to come back for," He quipped, flashing a smile that seemed lovely and coy and genuine. It was a line, it had to have been — but some foolish, sensitive part of her absolutely swooned. She never dreamed, never wished, but suddenly every part of her fervently hoped that he’d come back. She returned the smile; a real, authentic one this, and watched him wander into the distance. And then, he vanished, and it was back to the life that was, back to Father, Ferus, and home. Claws dug into her swollen abdomen, a tiny trickle of blood trailing down the crest of her most precious possession. For that moment, the ornery cyclops stilled her thrashing. If only those rats weren't within her, she would've been able to fight her way out from under the young bitch. She could've shoved her hind legs upwards, give her a solid kick to the gut to knock the breath out of her and then strike out at her legs to unbalance her before squirming away. But her pregnancy prevented her from doing all of that. She willingly would've taken damage to her underbelly if it weren't so full of life. Grating words from the ringleader of this malicious circus chilled her to the core. When the oaky male had drawn closer to her, she was going to hurl a well-earned glob of spit in his direction. However, as soon as chilling red eyes set themselves on her abdomen, she resisted her urge. Her pups ripped from her as soon as they're born, raised with her in anonymity and absence, fighting for these monsters rather than against them. For as much of a burden that they were now, she couldn't bear to think of anything happening to them in the future. They were her children, not bargaining chips in this wolf's sick game. The male's request for her mate to submit to him, to expose himself - like a worthless omega - sickened her further. Never had she seen her mate put into such a vulnerable position. He was always strong, resilient, a stone-faced brute within Ferus, not some blithering coward. Her mate's name fell from her lips as a silent whisper, begging him not to follow through, but knowing that he had no choice. With the bitch's weight removed from her, she knew that her proximity wouldn't leave her room to act up. Sticking close to her mate's side, the pregnant she-wolf contained her simmer anger as they were marched to some unknown land. -Exit to Mortiul Common Grounds- Apprentice Varuna @tiny Apprentice Anubis Apprentice Imset Salutary SolexOOC: Koga has been written out of roleplay as following a vision from Adjetni.
